Join us on Patreon! There's SO MUCH exclusive content to get into: www.patreon.com/savannahunderground Next week we'll welcome two listeners who'll tell us their encounters from within a Savannah-based haunted house they rented! In this chilling episode of The Most Haunted City on Earth, we dive into five eerie photographs that may just prove the existence of the paranormal. In our Ghosts Caught on Camera segment, we analyze some of the most unsettling images circulating the internet and share our thoughts on what might be lurking beyond the veil. First, we discuss a haunting screenshot from a video taken deep in the woods. A young boy captured what appears to be a spirit hanging from a tree—could this be a tragic soul forever bound to the forest? Next, we examine a bizarre series of three photos featuring the same girl, each one coming out disturbingly warped and unnatural. Is something sinister attached to her, or is she simply cursed by the camera? Finally, we break down an infamous photo taken inside Alcatraz prison, one of the most haunted locations in the world. A visitor posed for a casual shot, but something—or someone—had other plans. Obscuring her face is the shadowy figure of what looks like a former prisoner. Who is this ghostly inmate, and why does their presence linger? Join us as we analyze these spine-chilling images, debate their authenticity, and speculate on the spirits that may be reaching out from the other side. Grab your EMF detectors, keep the lights on, and prepare for a deep dive into the world of the unexplained.
By Andrew W Diemer - Christian scholars admit God as a Trinity is “impossible for Christians actually to understand.” Yet, Jesus Christ said that eternal life is to “know the only true God and Jesus Christ, whom (He) has sent.” How, then, may we have eternal life if we believe God is a Trinity? We cannot because the
Host Chris Adams is joined by Asim Hussain to dive into The Week in Green Software, exploring the environmental impacts of artificial intelligence and how the growing adoption of AI technology affects carbon emissions, as well as the growing complexities in the measurement and reduction of these. They discuss a primer on AI's direct environmental footprint, regulatory trends in Europe and the US, and the complexities surrounding the renewable energy credits tech companies use to offset emissions. The conversation touches on real-time cloud data initiatives, carbon accounting in AI, and the future challenges of balancing sustainability with technological innovation.

Tonight at 9PM EST! Chris takes us to the Roswell Incident! Was this the turning point in American's Downfall to Propaganda and Lies?!? Checkout Grizzly's Store! https://grizzlyllc.myshopify.com The Roswell incident is a conspiracy theory which alleges that the 1947 crash of a United States Army Air Forces balloon near Roswell, New Mexico was actually caused by an extraterrestrial spacecraft. Operated from the nearby Alamogordo Army Air Field and part of the top secret Project Mogul, the balloon was intended to detect Soviet nuclear tests.[1] After metallic and rubber debris was recovered by Roswell Army Air Field personnel, the United States Army announced their possession of a "flying disc". This announcement made international headlines but was retracted within a day. Obscuring the true purpose and source of the crashed balloon, the Army subsequently stated that it was a conventional weather balloon. https://www.onae.org https://grizzlyllc.myshopify.com https://paranormalhub.com/grizzly-hunt https://www.onae.org Hello, I'm Onae and welcome to my web site. Send us a Text Message. What if the truth we stand on is built on second-hand information? We're challenging the narrative around disinformation in this compelling episode of the Moneyway Show. Using the case of Kyrie Irving who was unfairly condemned for sharing a link to a film about African American history, we uncover the ways in which misinformation can manipulate and control our understanding of our own heritage. From the dismantling of the Civil Rights Department to the erasure of African American history in the curriculum, we investigate the efforts made to prevent people from discovering their roots. We also delve into the impact of disinformation on Black identity. Through the lens of different narratives and the consequent injustices in the acceptance of some truths over others, we grapple with the complexities of identity in the African American community. Despite the barriers, we emphasize the importance of standing up for our truths and challenge the common acceptance of popular or convenient narratives. Connecting the dots from past to present, we also explore the enduring legacy of Emmett Till, systemic racism, and their relevance today. As we round up, we explore the power of gratitude and prayer. With an emphasis on acknowledging and appreciating the small blessings in our lives, we remind listeners of the crucial role that gratitude plays in our well-being. In September, most U.S. states released their public school “report cards.” These reports are intended to evaluate for parents, community leaders, and policymakers the quality of education being offered across the state. By federal law, report cards must measure academic performance and graduation rates. Of course, these assessments are only helpful if they make sense. Many don't. For example, Ohio's Department of Education, following a few other states, recently stopped using letter grades on its statewide school report cards. Among the reasons is that lawmakers thought that an “F” just sounded too harsh. Now, the Ohio school report card is based on a “star” system. However, like real stars that seem to float in midair, the star system is based on a made-up and confusing “point” system. According to the chart that “explains” the scores, 4.5 stars may be equal to 4.125 points but not lower than 3.625 points. U.S. schools were struggling before the pandemic, and they haven't gotten much better. The White House recently sounded the alarm about the chronic absenteeism in public schools, something that skyrocketed during the pandemic and has not significantly improved since, and its strong correlation to worsening math and reading scores across the country. Only 32% of American fourth graders are considered “proficient” in reading. Still, unless a problem is properly understood, it cannot be helpfully addressed. State report cards should be helpful in diagnosing the crises facing public education, but they aren't. In fact, they seem almost intentionally unhelpful. For example, last year's report card for Ohio rated almost 90% of school districts as “meeting state standards.” However, the same report card, if you know where to click, reported that almost 40% of Ohio's third graders are not proficient in reading. Ohio's school report card doesn't exactly evaluate student competencies in academic subjects at all. Three out of five stars instead marks (1) progress from the previous year's report card, indicating that a terrible year was followed by a merely bad year), (2) a “closing the gap” for minority populations (which also could be an indication of an incremental gain rather than success), and (3) overall graduation rates, which includes “joining the military” or becoming an apprentice. In other words, not actually passing required exams. Partly to blame is a shift in how we think about education across the board; a shift that trickled down from institutions of higher learning to now infect public schools. As T.S. Eliot observed, every philosophy of education emerges from a philosophy of humanity. In our context, educators spend an inordinate amount of their preparation on educational theory and pedagogy. This has shifted the focus of their preparation from the what and the why to the how. The result is a generation of teachers fully up on the “social and emotional dynamics of learning” but who nevertheless fail to teach their second graders basic phonics. Recently in First Things, R.R. Reno described these “depressing results” out of Baltimore City public schools: In a number of schools, not a single student was doing math at grade level. In the system overall, only 7 percent of third through eighth graders were proficient. Meanwhile, at the July convention of the National Education Association, delegates committed the organization to working against legislation that limits LGBT propaganda in school. The kids can't do long division, but rest assured, they're fully catechized in the finer points of sexual liberation, learning to say “birthing parent” and “non-birthing parent” rather than “mother” and “father.” Of course, there are many admirable teachers in both public and private schools across America, teachers who are concerned about what matters most and who are skilled at passing this on to the next generation. What we're talking about here is a systematic problem, a crisis in public education that runs deep. Obscuring the problem to protect institutions whose administrators view an “F” as sounding too harsh won't help. Rather, education will need to be rethought at a worldview level. If human beings are made in the image of God, then to know is to know the mind of the Creator. From this solid ground, ancient Christians gave the world the concept of universal education. If God has revealed Himself and wants to be known, and not just by the elite or the rich or the clergy, real knowledge is possible. And kids should not be treated as knowers, not as social experiments, mini political activists, or trusted authorities on everything from gender to climate change. The White House's press release on chronic absenteeism ended with the assertion that, “the road to recovery runs through the classroom.” Obviously, kids will need to show up if they are to learn, but what happens when they do show up matters more. Specifically, the what and the why, not just the where and the how. For more resources to live like a Christian in this cultural moment, go to breakpoint.org.
It seems to me that, for millennia, people have believed they know better than God. Human rights concerns are at the top of the priority list for supply chain and procurement professionals. Among the most horrifying human rights abuses is child labor, sending children into dangerous settings to work. FDR signed the Fair Labor Standards Act in 1938, restricting the conditions and hours children under the age of 16 can work, and making it illegal for anyone under 18 to work in hazardous conditions. Unfortunately, that doesn't prevent it from happening… in the United States… today. In this week's episode of Dial P for Procurement, Kelly Barner shares real examples of modern child labor to illustrate: How large, systemic, and local the problem of illegal child labor is today, even in the United States Why we must be careful not to simply blame employers and staffing firms The direct role that procurement can play in the effort to protect the most vulnerable members of our society
Welcome, dear listeners, to another enlightening episode of "Unveiling Human Treachery & Oppression: From Ahlul Bayt AS to Today". In this episode, we delve into the murky depths of historical narratives, unearthing the manipulation and distortion that has been used to cover up the injustices inflicted upon the Ahlul Bayt AS, the blessed family of the Prophet Muhammad. We explore the recurring theme of narrative manipulation in Islamic history, a tool wielded by the powerful to serve their interests. We discuss the importance of understanding the past in its true light, not just for the sake of historical accuracy, but for the impact it has on our present and our future. We reflect on the words of the Quran, underscoring the importance of justice and truth in Islam, and how the distortion of these principles in historical narratives is a betrayal of the faith itself. We also discuss the role each one of us can play in challenging these distorted narratives and seeking out the truth. Join us as we continue our journey through history, striving to uncover the truth, stand up for justice, and honor the legacy of the Ahlul Bayt AS in our words and actions. Remember, as the Quran says, "And let not the hatred of a people prevent you from being just. Be just; that is nearer to righteousness." (Quran 5:8). California's Proposition 19 was passed as a constitutional amendment about two years ago amid quite a bit of confusion. A large part of this stemmed from the misleading rationale that positioned it mainly as a means to extend a financial lifeline to Californians whose homes were destroyed by wildfire or other natural disasters. This paved the way for them to transfer their property tax base to a new home in any of California's 58 counties and thus rebuild their lives after such a tragedy. Obscuring things further were also some takebacks from the homeowner benefits offered, which largely replaced — Proposition 58. These takebacks from Proposition 58 centered mainly on the property tax benefits available when a primary residence was passed from parent to child. Now, it only covers the primary residency or family home. If it is transferred to a child, that child must make it their primary residency within one year after the transfer, and the property must remain their primary residence. Any other type of move will essentially trigger a reassessment. And many clients are still surprised about this. Luckily the Board of Equalization has come out with clarifications and guidance on how Prop. 19 is supposed to work. So, if you're wondering if the proposition has been a net gain or a bust, we are taking a closer look at both the good, the bad, and reviewing the new instruction in this episode of Absolute Trust Talk. Kirsten and Madison will weigh in on the proposition's changes, what those changes mean for the citizens of California, and share some insights from the impacts we've been seeing with our clients here at Absolute Trust Counsel. In this episode, we're going to discuss: The enhanced property tax benefits that Proposition 19 now provides to homeowners over 55 or who have been victims of a natural disaster. The benefits that California homeowners lost when Proposition 58 gave way to Proposition 19 — they're pretty substantial. The Board of Equalization's part in overseeing property tax administration and how some recent changes have left the agency behind the eight ball. How a commonly misunderstood part of the tax reassessment process can leave some family members with a property tax bill, they hadn't bargained for. What the Board of Equalization now says about the parent/child property tax exclusion if one inheriting child decides to buy siblings out of a deceased parent's primary residence. Why this legislation reflects California's push toward ADUs and how they're favored over other forms of multi-unit residences. And more. Nearly every piece of passed legislation brings some unforeseen and often unintended consequences, but in several ways, Proposition 19 is unique. A large part of this distinction comes from its jurisdiction over homeowner tax protection. So, if you're a California homeowner who plans to leave a primary residence to your children, listen in, as these changes will directly affect your — and their — financial future.
Multi-wavelength observations of the obscuring wind in the radio-quiet quasar MR 2251-178 by Junjie Mao et al. on Wednesday 12 October Obscuring winds driven away from active supermassive black holes are rarely seen due to their transient nature. They have been observed with multi-wavelength observations in a few Seyfert 1 galaxies and one broad absorption line radio-quiet quasar so far. An X-ray obscuration event in MR 2251-178 was caught in late 2020, which triggered multi-wavelength (NIR to X-ray) observations targeting this radio-quiet quasar. In the X-ray band, the obscurer leads to a flux drop in the soft X-ray band from late 2020 to early 2021. X-ray obscuration events might have a quasi-period of two decades considering earlier events in 1980 and 1996. In the UV band, a forest of weak blueshifted absorption features emerged in the blue wing of Ly$alpha$ $lambda1216$ in late 2020. Our XMM-Newton, NuSTAR, and HST/COS observations are obtained simultaneously, hence, the transient X-ray obscuration event is expected to account for the UV outflow, although they are not necessarily caused by the same part of the wind. Both blueshifted and redshifted absorption features were found for He {sc i} $lambda10830$, but no previous NIR spectra are available for comparison. The X-ray observational features of MR 2251-178 shared similarities with some other type 1 AGNs with obscuring wind. However, observational features in the UV to NIR bands are distinctly different from those seen in other AGN with obscuring winds. A general understanding of the observational variety and the nature of obscuring wind is still lacking. arXiv: http://arxiv.org/abs/http://arxiv.org/abs/2210.05939v1
This Sunday is the second message of our study of Paul's letter to the Galatian churches. In chapter 2, Paul outlines two conflicts from his past. One conflict involved a group of people whose teaching was leading people astray and the other was with a high profile church leader whose behavior was obscuring the truth about Jesus. Think about it. We can misrepresent the truth about Jesus by our actions, not only our beliefs.

The 365 Days of Astronomy, the daily podcast of the International Year of Astronomy 2009
Dr. Al Grauer hosts. Dr. Albert D. Grauer ( @Nmcanopus ) is an observational asteroid hunting astronomer. Dr. Grauer retired from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock in 2006. travelersinthenight.org Today's 2 topics: - Imagine a world where people are never able to see the Milky Way or a meteor streaking like a falling star in the night sky. For most of the people living in the Earth's cities this has already happened. - Recently a semi-trailer truck sized asteroid passed only 20,800 miles above the Earth's surface. It reached its closest distance to us about 6 days after it was discovered by my team member, Richard Kowalski. We all have a lens. We see the world through it and it filters our reality. Every person has one and it is as unique as we are. But what a lot of people don't realise is that this lens not only changes what we see, but we also project our thoughts and feelings through it and it changes them as well. If you are unhappy in life, it all comes down to this lens. But not all hope is lost, as this lens can be changed, altered or even replaced with a completely new lens, and if you are unhappy with how your life has panned out, then I suggest you listen to this episode as Dwayne and Andrew talk about the lens, how it impacts your life experience, but also how it can also change your life forever. I've always known that General BetrayUs was a shithead, but the people who continued to support him because of his military record must be feeling abused and betrayed right now. According to Petraeus: "Yesterday afternoon, an Army spokesperson said that Secretary of the Army Ryan McCarthy is now “open to a bipartisan discussion” on renaming the bases (with Confederate names). That’s the right call. Once the names of these bases are stripped of the obscuring power of tradition and folklore, renaming the installations becomes an easy, even obvious, decision." Today, the pretext for "stripping your installations of the obscuring power of tradition and folklore" is being done in the name of fighting the racial injustice symbolized by the Confederacy. Tomorrow, it'll be done to ALL public institutions in the name of fighting the racial injustice embodied by your very existence. I wish I was kidding. We'll also be talking about Weev being wanted for arrest, our rapid descent into Weimerica, and the other news of the day. This is EPISODE 451 of So to Speak w/ Jared Howe!

With Lent in full-swing and warmer weather around the corner, many Catholics are probably thinking about food and their bodies more than normally. But what if the way that we’re approaching fasting and dieting is harmful—especially to our neighbors who inhabit larger bodies? This week, we speak with fat activist and host of the Fat & Faithful podcast, Amanda Martinez Beck. “It took me a long time to believe that God was not disappointed with my body,” Amanda wrote in a piece for America titled “Why Lent can be a dangerous time when you’re recovering from an eating disorder.” We talk with Amanda about how her relationship to her body and health has changed over time, and how Catholics can be more welcoming to people with larger bodies. In Signs of the Times, we take on what is on everyone’s mind: coronavirus. We look at how Catholics around the world are responding practically, and ask if there are some spiritual lessons to be learned from the pandemic. We also discuss the recently announced 2022 synod of bishops on—wait for it—synodality, and check in on how our Lenten practices are going. Merry Christmas! This Christmas Day, Daniel and Jack chat about Charles Murray, co-author of the infamous pseudo-scientific racist hoax The Bell Curve. Content Warning. He has argued that from a comparative perspective, one cannot attribute the differences in minority school performance to cultural, linguistic, or genetic differences. This is not to deny genetic differences or to deny that cultural and language differences may have an adverse or positive effect on minority school performance; but culture and language do not entirely determine the differences among minorities. Consider that some minority groups, like the Buraku outcast in Japan, do poorly in school in their country of origin but do quite well in the United States, or that Koreans do well in school in China and in the United States but do poorly in Japan. Comparative research suggests that we might discover at least a part of the explanation by closely looking at the histories and sociocultural adaptations of these minorities (Simons et al. n.d.). More specifically, to understand why minority groups differ among themselves in school performance we have to know two things: the first is their own responses to their history of incorporation into U.S. society and their subsequent treatment or mistreatment by white Americans. The second is how their responses to that history and treatment affect their perceptions of and responses to schooling." Erik Siegel, Scientific American "The Real Problem With Charles Murray and 'The Bell Curve.' https://blogs.scientificamerican.com/voices/the-real-problem-with-charles-murray-and-the-bell-curve/ "“The Bell Curve” endorses prejudice by virtue of what it does not say. Nowhere does the book address why it investigates racial differences in IQ. By never spelling out a reason for reporting on these differences in the first place, the authors transmit an unspoken yet unequivocal conclusion: Race is a helpful indicator as to whether a person is likely to hold certain capabilities. Even if we assume the presented data trends are sound, the book leaves the reader on his or her own to deduce how to best put these insights to use. The net effect is to tacitly condone the prejudgment of individuals based on race." "Daring Research or 'Social Science Pornography'?" ""Why can a publisher sell it?" he asked in the proposal for "Losing Ground." "Because a huge number of well-meaning whites fear that they are closet racists, and this book tells them they are not. It's going to make them feel better about things they already think but do not know how to say." Bob Dole and Newt Gingrich may have more power than Murray, and Rush Limbaugh and Pat Buchanan may have more direct influence. But no other conservative has his ability to make a radical thought seem so reasonable. Where others rant, Murray seduces with mountains of data and assurances of his own fine intentions. He will never be the country's most famous conservative, but he may well be the most dangerous." "The White Man, Unburdened." Quinn Slobodian and Stuart Schrader. https://thebaffler.com/salvos/the-white-man-unburdened-slobodian-schrader "Despite the reputation he cultivates as a teller of uncomfortable truths based on rigorous empirical social-scientific research, Murray misrepresents what the United States was trying to achieve in Thailand, and what his role there was. In Murray’s monograph, the word “insurgency” appeared twice and “war” never. He made no reference to opium, perhaps the commodity most worth fighting over in northeast Thailand. He did not mention martial law. And he certainly did not analyze how ethnic persecution shaped village life. Murray’s later writings have effaced these particulars even further. Most important, Murray diminishes the U.S. war in Vietnam as the decisive context that shaped much of Thailand’s political and economic fortunes. The nearby American war transformed Thailand’s urban economy, while heightening worries both within the Thai regime and in the diplomatic community at large that Thailand might become another falling domino. Rural community development was designed to thwart Communist organizing and subversion. Additionally, from the 1950s through the 1970s, there were challenges to the Thai national government’s legitimacy—which meant, in turn, a protracted initiative to suppress any dissent that struck Thai leaders as carrying a remote echo of left-wing subversion. Meanwhile, a host of factions within the government were themselves skirmishing, with coups and counter-coups. CIA involvement was one way for Washington to play favorites. Reading Murray’s Thai writings, you’d never know that his employer, AIR, was linked to security agencies or that the actual counterpart Thai development agency was a paramilitary force created by the CIA, the Border Patrol Police, which played a key role in a massacre of students and the installation of dictatorial right-wing rule in October 1976. Obscuring this context has important consequences for Murray’s analysis of the failures of U.S. nation-building in Thailand, which would go on to serve as the conceptual seedbed for his critique of the American welfare state. The research he conducted in the late 1960s assessed villagers’ attitudes toward the government and the assistance it provided. He found that many villagers claimed to have little positive interaction, or any at all, with representatives from the national government. They preferred to deal with local officials. Local officials, Murray argued, were more sensitive to their needs than outside administrators." Making Sense Episode 73, "Forbidden Knowledge" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S6Rmbfi6YrE Sam Harris/Ezra Klein debate: https://www.vox.com/2018/4/9/17210248/sam-harris-ezra-klein-charles-murray-transcript-podcast Eric Turkheimer blog: https://www.geneticshumanagency.org/gha/category/eric-turkheimer-gloomy-prospect-blog/ Turkheimer, "The Origin of Race Differences in Intelligence is Not a Scientific Question." https://www.geneticshumanagency.org/gha/origin-of-race-differences-in-intelligence-is-not-a-scientific-question/ "I should be clear that I am not making a “both sides do it” argument. It is the hereditarians who are trying to reach a strong and potentially destructive conclusion, and the burden is absolutely on them to demonstrate that they have a well-grounded empirical and quantitative theory to work with. So, if you are out there and think that group differences t are at least partially genetic, please explain exactly what you mean, in empirical terms. Do you mean that some portion of the IQ gap will never go away, no matter what we do environmentally? Do you mean we will discover genes with hard-wired biological consequences for IQ, and their frequencies will differ across groups? Are polygenic risk scores going to do it somehow? But don’t let me mischaracterize your position: explain it yourself. My concern is that anti-hereditarians play into race scientist’s hands when we agree to engage with them as though there existed a legitimate research paradigm proceeding toward a rational conclusion. At least in the social sciences, legitimate empirical research paradigms rarely come to all or none conclusions, so it becomes natural for people to conclude, with Murray and Harris, that the whole long argument is bound to settle eventually on the idea that group differences are a little environmental, a little genetic. But in fact, that is not where we are headed. I predict that in a relatively short period of time, contemporary race science will seem just as transparently unscientific and empirically untrue as the race science of the early 20th Century now appears from our modern perspective. Declaring something to be a science doesn’t make it so. The hereditarians want all the good things that come from being thought of as scientists. They want academic respect, they want protection from charges of racism, they want clear separation from the very recent history of “race science” that led directly to the Holocaust and Jim Crow. They have to earn it, by doing the hard work of developing the quantitative and empirical theories that transform intuitions about stereotypes into real science." *** with Dr. Michael Siegel *** The past few weeks have been horrific for the approximately 400 victims (and families) poisoned by illicit THC-vaping products—some fatally. It's a real tragedy and certainly a public health emergency. But these are not the only victims; tens of millions of people who rely on traditional nicotine-vaping products as a lifeline to quit smoking (or to stay quit) now find access to these products threatened, or in the case of the state of Michigan, revoked, restricted, denied. In this edition of RegWatch Dr. Siegel evaluates FDA, CDC and non-profit health groups' lack of clarity regarding the nature of the emergency; an emergency which should have first, and only, been described as a product tampering or tainted product crisis. Instead, health officials warned the public to stop using e-cigarettes; maligning traditional nicotine-vaping and obscuring the truth. What caused these illnesses? And, why does it appear the CDC is doing everything in its power to protect the illicit THC-vape trade while deflecting blame onto the legal, retail vaping industry? Find out. Only on RegWatch, by RegulatorWatch.com. ***FULL INTERVIEW*** Produced by: Brent Stafford Released: September 10, 2019

So we want to learn shamanism. Shamanic technique. We want to make sure our shamanism is real and not delusional. We want to make sure the knowledge, the understanding, we gain through shamanic technique comes into us from outside. From nature. And not from within us.So why are we dedicating the next few episodes to what we call 'the miasma'?Well the miasma plays a huge part in diluting our connection to nature. It's a veil. A haze which sits in front of us obscuring truth and convincing us of falseness. It's a tool which can be used to leverage control over people. Its effects have tremendous ripples on all of our lives as civilised human beings. "The miasma is a falseness which comes to sit between you and the natural world" - Damon SmithThe concept of the miasma is built into the societies of more animistic peoples. In fact, they have words, many words which describe the different effects of the miasma on us.In Mongol we have 'Teeren'In Japanese we have 'Ashiki'In Siberian we have 'Uha' and 'Ehru'In Aboriginal we have 'Ilhwa'In Manchu we have 'Ehe'The list goes on and on and on.It's just that English, the language of a settled and civilized people is a bad language for describing shamanism. Or trying to convey a shamanistic/animistic understanding of the world. Why is this important for learning shamanismWe have to be aware of its effects on us. Shamanism at its very foundation are a set of techniques used to derive knowledge and understanding directly from nature. Think of the miasma as a huge mist which hangs in front of you stifling this knowledge. Obscuring it and diluting it. Infecting our perceptions of nature and to the outside world. Colouring our imaginations. In short, we need to know if our knowledge, our feedback is coming from nature or from the miasma. The next three episodes are dedicated to the concept of the miasma. The science behind it. How its been used to influence whole cultures and societies. This is a fascinating and deep look at what underlies the fabric of our civilisation. Its side effects and ultimately our own participation in the destruction of shamanism.Listeners to this podcast will know our position of the use of psychoactive substances. They are a tool. They require a lot of discipline and experience in shamanic technique without them first. There is no greater fuel for the miasma than an inexperienced person with a very active imagination taking psychoactive drugs.Included in this episode is a look at how psychoactive substances work and affect the brain. Its a great look at the how and why behind the use of drugs and genuine shamanic technique.
