Send us a textThis game is setting itself up to be an absolute delight on Sunday afternoon at the M&T Bank stadium.  Jayden Daniels, rookie from LSU, and the 2023 Heisman Trophy winner, is taking the NFL by storm.  The Commanders have won 4 straight games and have outscored their opponents 135-78, and in 3 of their last 4 wins they have held their opponents under 20 points (avg about 15ppg).  They have also outscored the AFC North 72-46 scoring 3TD and INT.On the other hand, the Ravens have also been on quite a streak.  They won their their last three games some would say in dramatic fashion (at least the last one lol). Lamar Jackson is playing MVP caliber football and could be on his way to a 3rd.  He has only thrown 1 interception this season, 9 touchdowns, and 4 of those touchdowns came against the Bengals last week. Can the Commanders pull off the upset? Can the Ravens stifle the Commanders offense and take advantage of their less than talented secondary? Will Ravens secondary issues continue? Williams works closely with a select group of high-net-worth clients and their outside advisors to develop and execute financial strategies, acting as their outsourced family office. His team specializes their focus on business owners, entrepreneurs, public company executives, and private foundations. Prior to joining Summit Trail Advisors, Williams was a Managing Director and Senior Private Client Advisor at Wilmington Trust for nearly 12 years. Previously, he held roles in private banking and in the investment advisory business with UBS and M&T Bank. In 2017, he was named to Central Pennsylvania Business Journal's 40 under 40 where he was recognized as a top young business leader in the Central PA region. Guelcher began his career nearly 20 years ago as a sales person in Pennsylvania & slowly worked his way thru the business. He arrived in the Capital Region 8 years ago & has spent the last 3 as President of Mohawk Chevrolet. Guelcher set a goal early in his career to be in his position today. However, he did achieve that goal at a pretty interesting time. In his interview with WGY's Doug Goudie, he talks about how just 30 days after opening the dealership in November 2019, General Motors went on strike. About 90 days later, the Covid-19 pandemic began. At first, there was concern, not knowing which direction the automotive industry would go, but it ended up taking a turn in the opposite direction & became the best timing they could have asked for. Like so many other businesses, Guelcher & his team have also dealt with supply chain issues over the past couple years. Between the parts & microchip shortages, Guelcher has stayed true to the core values of his business to carry them thru. Andy Guelcher: LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/andrew-guelcher-18485777/ Darius Prince is no stranger to football and has been playing professionally for over a decade. In 2021, Darius Prince signed with the Albany Empire and had multiple historic seasons winning 2 NAL titles being awarded 2021 National Arena League Offensive Player of the Year, and being the first Wide Receiver National Arena League MVP in 2022. On this week's episode of the show, the boys kick off by Josh breaking down his first festival experience. Josh took on Breakaway in Charlotte this past weekend, and he gives us his overall thoughts and feelings, as well as who some of the best performances were. Before jumping into this week's sports talk, Josh also provides a HUGE life update as he is officially leaving Liberty University for a spot at (check's clipboard) Duke University. A surprising move for a lifelong Maryland fan, but an incredible one nonetheless and we're super happy for him. The sports talk this week starts off with the Orioles as they're on a bit of a hot streak entering this week, coming off a Three of Four game series win vs the Yankees, and a sweep of the Reds. O's pitchers are on FIRE lately, spearheaded by the returns of Kyle Bradish and John Means, who delivered an ace-level first outing. Moving across the B/C lot to M&T Bank stadium, the Ravens made news by signing four of their rookies this week, including first round pick Nate Wiggins. They were the first team in the league to lock up their top pick. Second round pick Roger Rosengarten fired Dante up this week with his quote about protecting Lamar Jackson, and the boys talk about how this offensive line could look with some potential starting pieces in the locker room already. Lastly in the NFL, much to Dante's dismay, Odell Beckham has signed a one-year deal with the Miami Dolphins. Dante is sad. The Kentucky Derby was this weekend and Mystik Dan won a great race. Anthony Edwards is proving to everyone that he is appointment television, as well as (potentially) Michael Jordan's biological son. The boys wrap up with their music for the week, and we ride off into another fantastic weekend. Cheers to you all for coming back and rocking with us each week. Love yall!

Welcome to your weekly UAS news update, we have 4 stories for you this week: Remote ID for the DJI minis, an armed suspect escaped police after shooting down a drone, a man faces felony charges after flying over NFL game, and the Super Bowl is a No-Drone-Zone. First up this week is an update on Remote ID for the Mini 3, Mini 3 Pro, and Mini 4 Pro. Last week we covered that DJI's latest firmware update that removed remote ID when using the small batteries. This firmware update applies to ONLY the Mini 3 and the Mini 4 Pro at this time, if you have the Mini 3 Pro, the drone will transmit RID with both batteries. For the other two drones (The Mini 3 and the Mini 4 Pro) we reached out to DJI. After meeting with DJI we found out that each drone is considered two models, one with each battery. The large battery will transmit remote ID, while the other battery does not. Only the drone and larger battery is approved by the FAA. We'll be publishing a full video on this topic soon and we'll place a card here when it's time! https://dronexl.co/2024/02/02/dji-clarifies-mini-drones-rid-compliance/ Next up this week is kind of a scary one out of California. Police with a warrant were conducting surveillance with a drone in Shasta County on a man wanted for multiple felonies including assault with a deadly weapon. During the operation, the wanted man shot the drone down. A SWAT team was deployed along with California highway patrol, but the man escaped and remains at large. The incident is a great example of how drones put cameras in harms way instead of people. https://dronexl.co/2024/02/02/suspect-shooting-law-enforcement-drone/ Third up this week is likely one you've seen, a man is facing felony charges after illegally operating a drone at a NFL game in Maryland. Matthew Hebert allegedly flew his drone over the M&T Bank stadium during a TFR on January 28th, 2024. The NFL suspended the game due to the drone while Maryland State Police and the FBI located the drone pilot. The pilot advised police he relied exclusively on DJI's built in geofencing to tell him where he could and couldn't fly and that because no DJI restrictions were in place, he assumed he could fly. The drone was unregistered and Hebert does not possess a remote pilot certificate. If convicted, the maximum sentence is three years in federal prison for operating as an airman without an airman certificate and operating an unregistered drone. Another charge of willfully violating US National Defense Airspace would add another possible year to the charge. We'll keep you updated if we see anything else about this. https://www.justice.gov/usao-md/pr/pennsylvania-man-facing-federal-felony-charges-illegally-operating-drone-during-national?fbclid=IwAR240Cf8I9ZA5rX4dOaBMUisUFlfgFqEVd93Y9ONw5uwUm7wMMChuyn4Uac On the same topic, the Super Bowl is this weekend… if you're in Las Vegas, there is a 30 NM TFR around the game… The FBI WILL be visiting pilots who bust this TFR… Don't bust it! Las Vegas has a number of drone detection stations around the city, don't think that you won't get caught… Don't be that guy, check the TFRs before you fly! https://dronexl.co/2024/02/05/las-vegas-no-drone-zone-super-bowl-faa/ Alright, that's it, have a great weekend and we'll see you next week!

We're back with Season 3 of Room For Growth, taking a deep dive into the financial services industry with Chris O'Brien from M&T Bank. With artificial intelligence proliferating in more and more industries, many financial marketers are in a test-and-learn phase to discover AI use cases with truly impactful business outcomes. In contrast, large banks have begun leveraging AI to tailor messaging based on customer behavior. In turn, there may be a major opportunity to maximize the use of business intelligence tools and the resulting data analytics to further optimize targeted segmentation efforts. Chris O'Brien, Senior Product Manager at M&T Bank, is optimistic about AI's future in this space, especially with use cases like content generation and experimentation as drivers for operational efficiency and growth. As a MarTech strategist, he directly addresses the challenges of balancing centralized control and agility while maintaining trust and making investment decisions in a limited-budget environment. With the financial industry's increased capacity to collect and analyze behavioral data, firms will have to decide on the importance they place on segmentation versus one-to-one personalization. Ultimately, Chris believes aligning MarTech strategy with business goals and customer needs is paramount.Hot topics discussed: The role of AI and emerging technologies in understanding customers Trends and challenges in Finance MarTech How to adapt to changing customer behaviors Examples of AI integration in business systems Keep the growth going: Connect with Chris O'Brien, M&T Bank Senior Product Manager on LinkedIn Connect with Billie Loewen, WillowTree Partner & VP of Growth Marketing on LinkedIn Connect with Billy Fischer, WillowTree Partner & VP of Business Development on LinkedIn Follow WillowTree on LinkedIn

Boys are back this week ready to talk about another full week of Baltimore sports. Orioles take two of three in Seattle, largely in thanks to what will be revered as "The Cedric Mullins Game." Scoot professes his love for Mullins in light of one of the most clutch performances we've seen from the Orioles' center fielder in quite some time. On the heels of said game, Grayson Rodriguez made his best professional start kicking off the series against the Padres going 7 innings with 6 strikeouts, 1 walk and 1 earned run to go along with a big win. Jack Flaherty did not have the same stuff in game two, however, as the Slam Diego Padres roughed him up in his few innings of work. The talk of the town this week in Orioles land was the sending down of once top prospect Colton Cowser to AAA Norfolk, making room for Aaron Hicks being activated from the IL. Dante doesn't love it, and doesn't really agree with it, but Scoot gives his take on why this is nothing more than a small speed bump for our dear friend Colton. Moving across the I-395 parking lots to M&T Bank stadium, the Ravens extended their comically long preseason win streak to 24 games, taking down the Eagles last Saturday night. The boys give their seldom thoughts on what they actually watched in this game, who stood out, who didn't look so hot, and what they want to see in the next game against the Commanders. Marlon Humphrey made some news this week with the announcement that he has a foot injury that will require surgery, putting his start to the season on hold potentially. Dante and Scoot dive into how much this hurts an already depleted Ravens secondary, and what moves, including two potential trade targets, they can make to put a bandaid on their defensive backfield. In more lighter Ravens injury news, running back JK Dobbins returned to camp this week and rejoined the team in camp. A sight for sore eyes certainly was number 27 back on the practice field, which hopefully means Dobbins is bought in for this season. Zay Flowers has been making a fool of Commanders' defenders in joint practices this week, which have also featured a number of scraps in which the Ravens feel like they're not playing around. Finally, in honor of the Untold "Johnny Football" documentary that came out last week, the boys are drafting their Top 5 most electric college football players of all time. Tap in and spread the word. Cheers!

If you get the human experience right, you'll get the numbers that you need. Customers and employees should never be disconnected in any way, shape, or form, no matter what industry you're in. It is crucial for leaders of organizations to think about how they can create delightful experiences for human beings that engage with their brands. The question is, what is the secret sauce for designing for humans? What does it mean to have an outside-in approach? How do we pull the three concepts of employee experience, customer experience, and brand experience together? Join Shawn Nason and Aarthi Murali as they discuss all this and more. In This Episode (02:11) - What does Aarthi's average week look like? (05:02) - Aarthi's approach to human experience (07:53) - Should the Chief Customer Experience Officer report to the CEO at an organization? (10:17) - The outside-in approach versus the inside-out approach (13:22) - Why Aarthi joined M&T Bank (17:34) - Aarthi's journey and how it influenced her role today as a Chief Customer Experience Officer (22:10) - The advice Aarthi would give to people who want to be in a similar role in the industry (23:35) - What is Aarthi's next big idea? (25:45) - The Combustion Questions What we learned for Aarthi In any industry, you can't decouple customers and employees. The outside-in approach – putting ourselves in an empathetic lens. The further away you go from customer-facing roles, your customers tend to be different. What's most important is to think about beliefs and behaviors. The Chief Experience Officer role should be responsible for pulling together the three concepts of experience: employee, customer, and brand. Notable Quotes [06:25] - “I've been very much on this mission to connect the dots and make sure that when we think about experiences, it's human experiences and designed for humans.” [09:14] - “It's incredibly important that the (Experience Officer) role is empowered, has complete decision rights and has full empowerment to drive the change.” [12:31] - “Experiences are a set of choices that you allow the customers to make that delight them.” [15:29] - “It is very important for every single employee in that journey from front to back to connect to understand their piece of that journey.” [22:11] - “One of the things I would say is incredibly important in any role, especially for this role, would be to have an incredibly open mind and a growth mindset.” Our Guest Aarthi Murali is M&T Banks' first Chief Customer Experience Officer. She focuses on enabling teams across the enterprise to design delightful end-to-end experiences for customers, while building out capabilities to support them. She is a customer fanatic at heart and in practice, and believes that taking an outside-in approach is key to making a difference in people's lives.
