Welcome to a journey of self-discovery. In the last episode, we looked at the number one killer of happiness: unnecessary long-term suffering. This “happiness killer” completely shuts down our happiness. In this episode, we'll discuss the emotional dragons that feed and cause the Happiness Killer. The number one dragon is Fear. Like the dragon, fear is more powerful than happiness or any other positive emotion. It's in our DNA. We are born with fear of falling and fight/flight, a survival mechanism. Fear was vital for our survival. When Fear is beyond control, it causes other dragons:· Anger: when out of control, creates rage, which can lead to violence.· Hate: can lead to revenge. · Worry can become chronic, which causes anxiety, which can cause panic attacks· Aggressiveness · Blame, shame, guilt · Doubt · Depression: if left unchecked, it can lead to suicide Anger is a common fear. Here's a question: Do you feel angry most of the time, sometimes, or not at all? Tell the truth. I can't hear you. And no one else will hear you if you don't say it aloud. Anger is worse at controlling because it sometimes feels energizing and even exhilarating. Benjamin Franklin said, “Anger is never without a reason, but seldom a good one.” Support the show
Welcome to a journey of self-discovery. Let's continue looking at happiness and its number one killer: unnecessary long-term suffering. This “happiness killer” completely shuts down our happiness. We lose our ability to create, which affects our overall health and the quality of our lives. Long-term suffering causes deep, overwhelming sadness, worry, and anger. When these emotions are too extreme and persistent, they become pathological, as in depression, anxiety, and raging anger. When emotions are too muted, they create dullness and distance. Ordinary suffering is part of life, but nobody should experience long-term, unnecessary suffering. So, why do we carry this suffering for long periods? It seems as if we have no control over it. It's like pain that sets in our chest. The trauma, the break-up, and the tragedy may be long gone, but the deep suffering is still there. And we can't seem to shake it off.Look at your life around you – all that surrounds you. What in your surroundings can you control? · Can you control the weather? · How about other people? · Do you have control over your destiny or death? There is little to nothing we can control. We are mainly at the mercy of everything around us. If we try to take control over people or situations, we'll probably lose. In the end, all we've done is suffer in the process... Support the Show.

https://Masterfesto.comhttps://amzn.to/3dxWMj8https://www.facebook.com/masterfestoIn this episode, you will experience a light hypnosis session. As a certified hypnotherapist, I am skilled and trained professionally to induce hypnosis in order to access the subconscious mind in an effort to increase motivation, identify, modify and change behavior. Let's look at the history of hypnosis. It goes all the way back to the Hindus of ancient India who often took their sick to sleep temples to be cured by hypnotic suggestion. In the 18th century in the Western world, the work of Franz Mesmer was first to develop a consistent method for hypnosis. Mesmer liked to perform dressing up in a cloak and playing ethereal music, hence mesmerized. Inevitably, these magical trappings led to Mesmer's downfall. Nevertheless, the fact remained that hypnosis worked. In the 19th Century surgeons and physicians pioneered its use in the medical field. By the end of the century hypnosis was accepted as a valid clinical technique, studied and applied in universities and hospitals of the day. When hypnosis moved from Europe to America, Hypnosis became a popular phenomenon available to the layman, outside of the laboratory or clinic. Hypnosis has become increasingly practical, and regarded as a useful tool for easing psychological distress and bringing about profound change in a variety of situations. Hypnosis works by sending suggestions directly to subconscious, bypassing the critical filters of the Conscious Mind. The hypnotherapist and the client work together to create a pleasant state of hyper-suggestibility. Positive suggestions are given with an almost surgical precision, going directly to the subconscious that contains the old programs and life scripts that have been in the way of happiness, success and contentment with life. https://masterfesto.comhttps://amzn.to/3dxWMj8 TMC Trilateral Mind Connectionhttps://www.facebook.com/masterfestoIf you don't master your mind, you will be a slave to your mind. Is it easy? Absolutely not. It's a journey. To master anything, we need to have knowledge of the thing we're mastering. Not just basic knowledge, although that's a good place to start. We must know the thing well and have a clear understanding. If you want to master your mind, it's going to take lots of reading, studying, listening to my episodes several times, lots of time, dedication, and a commitment to stay on the path. I promise that it will be worth all your effort. If you do this, it will change the trajectory of your life. You will be unrecognizable to yourself. I consider myself a mental master. I've put in the work and the time. Like anything you want to master, you need to know why it's important. What is your WHY?My “why” is to make a difference in your life, in your relationships, your job, career, physical and emotional, wellbeing. I'm committed to healing humanity. This is “why” I do what I do. I know it won't happen in my lifetime but it's a game worth playing. I once read a passage, I believe it's from Buckminster Fuller. “Find a game worth playing and play it wholehearted as if your life depends on it because it does.” I live by this. I work like this. It's what keeps me going when I'm tired and feeling hopeless. Mastering your mind will put you in control of your life. If you don't master your mind, you will live in a soup of chaos. You will be at the effect of your environment, your circumstances, your bad choices, and chance. This is the victim mentality, no mental control.Support the show

It puts you on a journey on how to Master Your Mind so that YOU are in control? So that You get to create your world and become a better, wiser, and more authentic version of yourself? For the last two decades, I've worked on mind mastery. As a mental master, I get to share my work with you. Through my teachings, you get the tools, insights, and the inspiration to work on your own mastery. Mastery takes work, dedication, tenacity, and a big commitment to stay in the game. Quitting is not an option. I'm sharing my personal breakthrough theory, the Trilateral Mind Connection Theory. When you master this distinction, it will alter your life to bring you more peace, happiness, good health, and longevity. My theory is all about how the mind, the brain and the body are connected and how they work unilaterally. There is increasing research and evidence-based practices that support the notion of a relationship between the Mind and the Body, however there is little to no study that I have found in my research on the mind, brain and body connection. Mostly, mainstream science and healthcare practices tend to treat the mind and body as separate entities. And some treat the mind and brain as one and the same. My website http://masterfesto.comFacebook https://www.facebook.com/masterfestoEmail Isabel@masterfesto.comZelle 626-318-3562Masterfesto MeditationWe are now at the end of June. The month of celebrating dads. We had three very special dads on our show this month, Peter Nishita, a single dad raising his teenage daughter, Ron Delgado, with three young adults, two boys and a daughter, and Joe Luu raising two little boys. These dads are ordinary men being extraordinary dads. The one thing they have in common is they bonded with their kids very early. The most important years in a child's life is between birth and eight years old. I learned so much from my guests. You're never going to get it perfect. but if you lead with love, your kids have a very good chance to turn out. Joe Luu said, you've got to be a role model for your kids. Peter said, it's important to apologize when you make a mistake – and you will make a mistake. Ron said, hug your kids every day and tell them you love them.Dads, you must bond with your kids. And start early. Get involved with every aspect of child-care, including diaper changing, and later helping with their homework. It's not unusual to be a stay-at-home father. Sometimes, single moms or single dads have to be both parents. That is Not an easy job. I know this personally. If this is your scenario, you can do it. You must do it. You've got to be a better and bigger person than you think. You've got to believe in yourself and trust that you are the perfect person in a perfect situation. Seek help, but you've got to remain the main caretaker. Support the show

http://masterfesto.comhttps://amzn.to/3dxWMj8May has beautiful flowers and butterflies and sometimes I feel the thorns of the roses. My mother, Alice Elias Arellano, passed away November 11, 2002. It's been many years, but I still miss her – particularly in the month of May. The first month of May in 2003 was the hardest. If you have lost your mom, you can get what I feel. I've worked with clients on the stages of loss. I went through all the Stages of Loss and thought that the pain would end but it didn't. and the stages of loss didn't always take the same path. The first stage is Denial: “This is not happening.” Refusing to accept, shock or numbness, go about daily routines robotic. If we get stuck in this stage for too long, you began to have physical problems. Depression sets in causing panic attacks…guilt arises. It's very important to move past this stage. The second stage is Anger/resentment: This is good because it's the beginning of the process of releasing. The third stage is Depression: Crying or withdrawing, crying is a natural way of releasing anxiety…good thing. But if crying continues too long, you could go into clinical depression…might have to go on meds. You must move through this as quickly as possible. The fourth and last stage is Resolution/acceptance. You begin to make sense of what happened. You start putting your life back in order. You might become spiritual seeking higher awareness. There is hope and acceptance of reality. You cannot force this stage. Everyone is ready at their own time. Support the show

http://masterfesto.comIn the last episode, I covered Courage. In this episode, I will focus on Confidence. Confidence, is created, built, generated from Courage. You can't have true Confidence without Courage. I believe that having confidence takes heart, courage, and mental mastery. If you put in the work, train your mind, do the practices, and develop certainty of your capabilities and skills, you will gain confidence. Knowing that you are the best at something is proof of confidence. With confidence, you will act in your own best interests, and fear of criticism will not stop you. Confident people are unstoppable. Just like Courage, Confidence takes having a high self-esteem, being assertive, and taking a stand for what they believe in. People who lack confidence spend a lot of time being confused, unprepared, and usually don't get the results they're after. Lack of confidence can prevent people from taking risks and seizing opportunities.Support the show (https://paypal.me/ElizabethApodaca311?locale.x=en_US)

http://masterfesto.comSeems that Valentine's Day has its roots in an ancient Pagan festival. According to History.com, Valentine's Day was named after its patron saint, St. Valentine. Some historians believe that Valentine's Day commemorates the death of St. Valentine on February 14, others believe that the holiday has its origins in a Pagan fertility festival celebrated on February 15 in ancient Rome. Valentine's Day becomes a major commercial event in the U.S. after 1950. According to the National Retail Foundation, Americans spend over $20 billion on Valentine's Day gifts. Most of it is spent by men. Nearly 6 million couples get engaged on Valentine's Day.Valentine's Day is the Holiday of Romance. Valentine's Day is an opportunity to ignite our existing relationship with romance. What does one do to bring back the fire, the passion? First, you have to choose love. You have to choose that person, the one you're with. It takes a commitment; it takes work. But the bond you build can last a lifetime, and it's real. You put in the practice to bring the sizzle. http://masterfesto.comLove of Family is a very special kind of love. It's much more than just saying “I love my family.” Family love is the first type of love we experience. Mostly it's the family we're born into, our parents, siblings. Later as adults, we form your own family. There are many different types of families. Your family does not need to look like the stereotypical nuclear family we often think of when we hear the word "family". Regardless of who your family is comprised of, having your loved ones in your world, and cultivating a strong bond with family members can improve the quality of your life. http://masterfesto.comSelf-love isn't about showing off how great you are. People who love themselves in a healthy way know that they are flawed and make mistakes and they accept and care about themselves despite their imperfections. Self-love simply means you can give yourself the same kindness that you give to others. Self-love is having a high regard for your well-being and happiness. Self-love means taking care of your needs and not sacrificing your well-being to please others. Self-love means not settling for less than you deserve. Self-love means accepting yourself just as you are. Self-love is accepting your emotions for what they are and putting your physical, emotional, and mental well-being first. Self-love is making healthy choices that serve and nurture you.Self-love is having healthy relationships. A gift to yourself. Treating yourself with compassion, understanding and kindness. In this episode I am recapping the last three episodes: The ABC's on fitness by our guest Dave Elias, the fitness expert; Healthy Fit Vibrant Body; The three D's Desire Dedication Discipline. Those three episodes focus on fitness. This episode will also include healthy eating. Support the show (https://paypal.me/ElizabethApodaca311?locale.x=en_US)
http://masterfesto.comIn this episode, we're looking at the emotions needed to stay true to the success of your fitness practices. Desire, dedication, and discipline for fitness are the key factors to unlocking your potential. The difference between achieving your goal and not achieving your goal is determined by the strength of your Desire, Dedication and Discipline. If these emotions are strong, you will achieve success. But it takes all three. If one is left out, chances are, you will not succeed. Give it all you've got. Don't cheat yourself. This fitness principle is all about self-improvement, about being better than you were the day before. http://masterfesto.com Isabel@Masterfesto.com This is episode 33 part two of the two-part series, The Truth About Forgiveness. The “truth” about anything can be confronting. Sometimes it's just more comfortable not knowing, not wanting to know, or not facing up to the truth. The saying, ‘ignorance is bliss' is more comfortable. Knowing the truth usually comes with too much responsibility. Hang in there and go with the saying, the truth will set you free. My intention in this series on forgiveness is to bring inner-peace and freedom to you so that unnecessary suffering will end, and you will have clarity in this area. Your past beliefs on forgiveness have kept you stuck and has brought too much pain. Let's bring new light to forgiveness. Support the show (https://paypal.me/ElizabethApodaca311?locale.x=en_US)

My contact information: email Isabel@Masterfesto.com Website: http://masterfesto.com For the last two decades, as a Healing Practitioner, I've helped heal hundreds of clients from traumatic emotional pain to weight loss and everything in between. We made good progress but what I know today would blow that out of the water. A few months ago, I had a breakthrough. After years of work in personal growth and development, it hit me like a ton of bricks…. OMG! My work is missing very important elements. If you came to me months back to work on an emotional issue that has been in the way of your peace of mind or happiness, I worked with the mind on mental release, letting go of the past. If you came to me due to a physical pain, I would work with hypnosis releasing pain and having a pain-free body. I have a certification on how to release physical pain. If you came to for handwriting analysis or dream therapy, we would work on the brain using NLP Neurolinguistic Programming.I focused on the one element that needed to be healed. But I was leaving out the other two elements that have a definite affect. If the body has pain, the mind and brain are affected. If the mind has emotional pain that is not completely resolved, the body will become sick, and the brain will lose power. The mind, brain and body are connected, and each affects the other. Hence, my breakthrough in creating my theory, The Trilateral Mind Connection which connects the three important elements in the healing process, the mind, the brain, and the body. I am implementing this theory in all my work including coaching, classes, books, and anything that has to do with mental mastery and personal growth and development.
