Shane Tews — Non-Resident Senior Fellow at AEI and the person who explained the internet to Capitol Hill No Password Required Season 7: Episode 7 – Shane Tews Shane Tews is a Non-Resident Senior Fellow at the American Enterprise Institute, where she focuses on cybersecurity, privacy, artificial intelligence, and internet governance. She is also President of Logan Circle Strategies, a strategic advisory firm working at the intersection of technology and policy. Before her think tank work, Shane helped introduce modems to the George H.W. Bush White House, walked the halls of Capitol Hill explaining the internet to blank-staring legislators, and spent years at VeriSign helping shape the foundational frameworks of how the internet would be governed. In this episode, Shane traces her unlikely path from the Bush administration to becoming one of Washington's most trusted voices on tech policy. She breaks down why regulating outcomes rather than inputs is the only sensible approach to technology governance, why the US and EU are operating from fundamentally different innovation philosophies, and why a national privacy bill is long overdue. She also explains why most organizations and individuals are far less protected than they think and why nobody knows who to call when something goes wrong. Jack Clabby and co-host Kayley Melton talk with Shane about legacy system vulnerabilities, the cybersecurity implications of agentic AI, and what policymakers absolutely must get right over the next decade. She also reflects on what the CISA reauthorization limbo means for companies that don't even know they've lost liability protection. In the Lifestyle Polygraph, Shane reveals she has 20,000 emails across eight accounts, admits she fakes laughs at bad jokes out of Midwestern politeness, shares her obsession with The Bear and Peaky Blinders, and tells us about her children's book project using Google Omni called "Shane on a Train." Follow Shane on LinkedIn and on X at @ShaneTews. Find her work at AEI.org and TechPolicyDaily.com. No Password Required is presented by ThreatLocker In this episode: Shane's path from the George H.W. Si passa da No Other Choice di Park Chan-wook a Pillion con Alexander Skarsgård e Harry Melling, da The Rip con Matt Damon e Ben Affleck a Peaky Blinders, Project Hail Mary, The Bride, The Madison, Dutton Ranch, Hacks, Good Omens 3, Mortal Kombat 2, Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed, The Four Seasons, How to Make a Killing e molti altri titoli usciti tra cinema, streaming, animazione, horror, action e serie TV. Una puntata “tutti frutti summer love”, nel senso che non c'è un filo logico vero se non quello più importante: capire cosa ci ha convinto, cosa ci ha deluso e cosa consigliamo davvero dopo averlo visto. Premiering in the Directors' Fortnight section at the Cannes Film Festival, "I See Buildings Fall Like Lightning" is Clio Barnard's adaptation of Keiran Goddard's acclaimed novel about five childhood friends from working-class Birmingham whose lives have drifted far from the futures they once imagined. "Peaky Blinders" actor Joe Cole stars as Rian – the one who escaped, made money and seemingly "made it", only to discover that success cannot free him from the place he came from.

We discuss Steven Knight's six-seasons-and-a-movie historical crime show Peaky Blinders, featuring Mark, Lawrence, Sarahlyn, and Al. Does the show live up to its initial excellence? It's got a great emotional premise (post-WWI PTSD), and there's a ridiculous amount of gravitas among the cast, but do the heists undermine this heft? It's OK if you haven't seen the show; we hold off on spoilers for quite a while and warn you when we reach that point. Get more at prettymuchpop.com. 1945's The Wicked Lady directed by Leslie Arliss was an enormous hit for Gainsborough Studios and is still considered one of the most popular and successful British films of all time. The story of an unrepentant social climber, played by Margaret Lockwood, who turns to a life of crime pushed the boundaries or propriety with plentiful veiled references to sex and enough heaving bosoms to make American censors uncomfortable. In fact, the production had to go back and reshoot scenes deemed too revealing to play for American audiences. The film co-stars James Mason, Patricia Roc, Griffith Jones, and Felix Aylmer. Dan and Vicky discuss the UK classic along with alot of recently seen like Faces of Death (2026), Hunting Matthew Nichols, Peaky Blinders, Alpha, Pretty Lethal and the series Agatha Christie's Seven Dials. You'll also learn about the sex ed film that became 1945's biggest movie and hear both Dan and Vicky have senior moments! Our socials: hotdatepod.com FB: Hot Date Podcast X: @HotDate726
Statt einer finalen Staffel bekommt »Peaky Blinders« einen finalen Film spendiert: Bringt »The Immortal Man« die Serie zu einem befriedigenden Abschluss?
Today Flix and Giggles dive into why Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man is a visual triumph. The 1940s Blitz looks incredible, director Tom Harper has created a stunning, hell-on-earth version of the industrial landscape that absolutely demands to be seen. On the other hand, we have to talk about that soundtrack. With a whopping 36 tracks, the music is constant, loud, and for us, it just didn't fit the nuance of the story. We're discussing whether the "grey area" of Tommy Shelby's final chapter got lost in the noise. Is this a fitting end to the legacy, or did the audio mix ruin the vibe?
