Is there still a path for him to remain in Tampa Bay, or are other teams becoming more realistic landing spots? In this episode, Rajkumar Thirunavukkarasu, SVP & Head of Healthcare Provider Business at Tech Mahindra , and LaDonna Sweeten, EHR Practice Lead at The HCI Group, a fully owned subsidiary of Tech Mahindra, discuss how health systems can transform their EHR from a static system of record into a dynamic performance engine. The conversation also highlights a unique market differentiator: the combined strength of The HCI Group's deep EHR and provider-focused expertise with Tech Mahindra's global technology scale, engineering depth, automation capabilities, and innovation track record. Together, this partnership brings end-to-end capabilities—from EHR optimization and managed services to advanced data engineering, AI integration, and enterprise digital transformation—delivered at scale with measurable outcomes. Listeners will gain insight into how leading organizations are moving beyond implementation toward sustained transformation—leveraging global innovation, cross-industry engineering excellence, and healthcare-specific expertise to drive lasting value. In this episode, they talk about: HCI Group grew from staff augmentation to a full solutions provider after the Tech Mahindra acquisition Many providers aren't fully utilizing EHR systems despite heavy investment Providers face simultaneous pressure from workforce shortages, shrinking margins, and new regulations HCI and Tech Mahindra use each org's own data to tailor strategy rather than a one-size-fits-all approach AI is set to significantly disrupt revenue cycle management Ambient listening technology is reducing the clinician documentation burden End-to-end workflow reimagination is recommended over isolated AI pilots Patients now expect the same seamless experience from healthcare as they get from retailers Houston Methodist's new campus was cited as a model for automated, frictionless clinical workflows Value-based care is now mandatory, making urgent AI adoption a necessity not a choice A Little About Rajkumar and LaDonna: Raj T is a dynamic and accomplished business leader with over two decades of global experience in managing high-impact client relationships and driving growth in the healthcare technology space. Currently, Raj is serving as SVP & Head of Healthcare Provider Business at Tech Mahindra, where he leads strategy, delivery, and innovation for some of the world's leading healthcare organizations. Raj's collaborative leadership style and results-driven mindset have consistently delivered value to clients, making him a trusted advisor in the healthcare technology ecosystem. Raj is passionate about harnessing technology to improve patient outcomes, streamline provider operations, and enable data-driven decision-making across the care continuum. LoDonna leads enterprise healthcare technology strategy and delivery for health systems nationwide. She specializes in EHR transformation, workflow optimization, managed services, and digital enablement, partnering with executive leaders to ensure technology investments drive measurable clinical, operational, and financial impact. LaDonna uses data and best-practice benchmarks to identify performance gaps, prioritize high-value opportunities, and design targeted improvement roadmaps. She then applies structured governance and performance monitoring to mitigate risk and ensure intended benefits are realized. Her passion is helping provider organizations transform their EHR from a system of record into a data-informed performance engine that supports fiscal sustainability and provider resilience. She understands that in today's margin-compressed and highly regulated environment, optimization has to be measurable and sustainable, not just aspirational.
How many of us are still carrying dreams we’ve quietly packed away because we think we’re “too old” now? We got a voivce note from Sara where she says her husband wants her to enter Mrs SA because he’s always had the ambition of being married to a beauty queen, it’s just happening now for her. And it raises such an interesting question: what aspirations do you still have at your age? The things you still want to try, become, start or chase… but maybe feel like time isn’t on your side anymore. Are dreams age-restricted, or do we just convince ourselves they are? 3 games separated by 6 points…now THAT'S Clippers basketball! Adam, Will, and Chuck talk the Clippers almost-awesome 3-in-4, get hyped on Mathurin, hope for the best with Kawhi's ankle (and Aspiration stuff), and preview the Clippers vs Wolves game ahead of that month coming up.
In Segment 1, Grant dives into the complicated current state of the LA Clippers. Sitting at 27-30 on the season, the team is at a massive crossroads amid rumors of looming league punishments surrounding the Aspiration scandal, which could potentially void Kawhi Leonard's contract. However, there is a massive silver lining shining at the Intuit Dome: Bennedict Mathurin. Since arriving at the trade deadline, Mathurin has been an absolute revelation, including a 38-point showcase against the Nuggets. Grant breaks down why the 23-year-old's elite isolation scoring proves he can be the franchise's next foundational star. In Segment 2, we shift from the future of LA basketball to its legendary past to honor the "Godfather of Showtime." We hear directly from Pat Riley following the long-awaited unveiling of his 8-foot bronze statue outside Crypto.com Arena. Grant plays the best audio clips from the Star Plaza ceremony, reacting to Riley's moving speech about adversity, the iconic Giorgio Armani suit immortalized in bronze, and the unforgettable moments shared on stage with Magic Johnson and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. Tomorrow, we launch our second issue on Aspiration—devoted to audacious ideas for a thriving Jewish future. Four years ago, when we published our first issue, the world was a very different place. In his editor's note, Bret Stephens writes: “Jewish aspiration after October 7 is a different story. Paradoxically, it requires more realism and more ambition.”So here we are, returning with new questions: Is the Jewish world taking enough risks? Has American Jewish life become too convenient? Should we, indeed, stop fighting antisemitism and instead fight Jewish complacency? And did Bret go too far when he called for the dismantling of the ADL?Join Editor-in-Chief Bret Stephens and Rabbi David Wolpe for a wide-ranging SAPIR Conversation on these questions and more.Read SAPIR: www.sapirjournal.org Music from #Uppbeat: https://uppbeat.io/t/theo-gerard/monsieur-groove

In this thoughtful and affirming episode of Quietly Visible, host Carol Stewart is joined by Karla Packham-Corteil, an introverted leader, researcher, and leadership development professional with a deep curiosity about what helps people truly thrive at work.Karla shares her personal journey as an “accidental leader” and reflects on how being labelled quiet shaped her confidence from childhood through to senior leadership roles. Drawing on her postgraduate research, she explores how perceived introvert mistreatment – being ignored, overlooked, or dismissed – impacts well-being, leadership self-belief, and aspirations.Together, Carol and Karla challenge common misconceptions about introversion, assertiveness, and leadership. They unpack why many introverted leaders are far more assertive than stereotypes suggest, and why environments that favour extraversion can quietly undermine confidence – even for capable, experienced leaders.Key takeaways from this episode include:- Why being quiet is often misunderstood – and unfairly framed as a weakness- How perceived introvert mistreatment affects well-being and leadership self-belief- The critical role of leadership self-efficacy in sustaining ambition and progression- Why assertiveness is not an extravert-only trait- How psychological safety and authenticity help introverted leaders flourish- What organisations can do differently to support diverse personality stylesThis episode is especially valuable for introverted women leaders, aspiring leaders, coaches, HR professionals, and anyone interested in creating workplaces where people can succeed without pretending to be someone they're not.

Navy veteran Dr. Theodore Roosevelt Johnson, his family name a legacy first chosen to honor the new possibilities for Black Americans many presidents ago, writes about a football game when he stood during the National Anthem and his son—on the field as a player—chose to kneel. Both, he argues, are acts of love of country. Ted's life, service and scholarship are a love letter to America—both when he confronts our failure and takes pride in our accomplishments. Now Ted leads New America's Us@250 initiative which "seeks to reimagine the American narrative with a focus on three themes: pride in the nation's progress, reckoning with historical and contemporary wrongs, and aspiration for a better future." When air meets uncertainty, judgment matters most. We dig into the evolving landscape of airway management where video laryngoscopy, supraglottic devices, and even ECMO promise better outcomes, yet cognitive errors and non‑OR settings still account for many of the most devastating events. Drawing on recent studies, malpractice claims, and national audits, we map the pressure points that turn a difficult intubation into a crisis and show how to defuse them with clearer plans, tighter teamwork, and sharper skills. We start with three high‑yield rules that change outcomes fast: cap the number of attempts, anticipate physiologic crashes, and switch early to rescue strategies. From there, we unpack the INTUBE findings on hypoxemia and cardiovascular instability, plus data showing how repeated attempts compound failure. Video laryngoscopy gets a balanced look: why it lifts first‑pass success across ED and ICU intubations, and how overreliance can silently erode direct laryngoscopy and awake fiberoptic competence. Expect practical strategies to preserve breadth: intentional DL reps, awake FOI workshops, and shared mental models that define time limits and bailout triggers. We also tackle unsettled ground. Aspiration risk reduction remains murky; cricoid pressure under general anesthesia has not delivered clear benefits, and robust trials comparing asleep rapid‑sequence to awake, topicalized methods in high‑risk patients are missing. We offer a decision lens to tailor approach by anatomy, physiology, and available expertise. For extreme airways—think massive goiter or tracheal compression—we explore where ECMO fits: preemptive, standby, or rescue. You'll hear how activation criteria, cannulation readiness, and interprofessional rehearsal turn a complex tool into a safety net rather than a new hazard.By the end, you'll have a cleaner playbook: plan A–D that you can execute under stress, a review of device trade‑offs, and concrete ways to reduce cognitive traps that drive harm. If this conversation sharpens your next airway, share it with a colleague, subscribe for future episodes, and leave a quick review to help others find the show. For show notes & transcript, visit our episode page at apsf.org: https://www.apsf.org/podcast/294-from-video-laryngoscopy-to-ecmo-what-keeps-airway-management-safe/© 2026, The Anesthesia Patient Safety Foundation

In this episode, I explain how trying to relate to everyone can quietly weaken your authority and pull you away from your real standard. When I stay at my level and focus on clarity instead of approval, the right people rise to meet me. Relatability may feel safe, but leadership is built on direction, not shared weakness. The people who truly matter don't need me to blend in, they need me to lead. Show Notes: [07:14]#1 Relatability is a strategy for avoiding rejection. [11:23]#2 People trust consistency more than they trust similarity. [17:23]#3 Aspiration outperforms relatability. [19:57] Recap Episodes Mentioned: 2427: "You Think You're Better!" 🧭 REBEL Rundown 📌 Key Points The 4 Steps of an ED Consult:👋 Introduce yourself and your role🎯 Lead with the outcome (the ask)🧾 Give a focused case summary (why it’s theirs + what you’ve done)🔁 Close the loop (timeline, next steps, contingencies) Click here for Direct Download of the Podcast. 📝 Introduction Today we’re tackling one of the most important (and most under-taught) skills in emergency medicine: how to call a consult in the ED and what to do when a consultant pushes back.To call a consult in the ED, start with a brief introduction, lead with the outcome you need (“the ask”), give a focused decision-relevant summary, and close the loop with timeline and next steps. If the consultant resists, clarify the “why,” restate the ask, offer alternatives, and escalate when patient safety or disposition is at risk. After two decades in emergency medicine and countless consult calls, here’s a simple framework—plus copy/paste scripts—to make your consults faster, clearer, and easier to say “yes” to. 🤔 Why Consult Skills Matter in Emergency Medicine Consults aren’t a formality—they’re a patient-care intervention. Strong consult communication:Reduces delays in time-sensitive careImproves ED throughput and dispositionDecreases conflict and miscommunicationClarifies ownership and next stepsProtects the patient (and the team) when plans are unclear 🪜 The 4-Step ED Consult Framework (Introduction → Ask → Summary → Close the Loop) Most consult friction comes from one of two problems: unclear expectations or excessive noise. This four-step structure solves both.1) Introduce yourself and your roleA simple intro sets a professional tone and removes ambiguity.Script: “Hey, this is Swami, one of the ED attendings. I’m calling for an ortho consult.” 2) Lead with the outcome (the ask)Don’t bury the lede. The consultant wants to know what you need—immediately.Script: “I’m calling about a patient with a suspected septic knee. I need you to evaluate for operative management.” 3) Give a focused, decision-relevant summaryYour summary should answer:Why this is your service’s problemWhat’s already been doneWhat I’m worried about / what decision is needed nowScript: “43-year-old man with no major PMH, 3 days of knee pain and swelling. XR negative. Febrile. Aspiration yielded purulent fluid—cultures sent. We started antibiotics after the tap. He’s hemodynamically stable.” High-yield pearl: Add quick “stability anchors” when relevant:“Airway stable, pain controlled.”“Neurovascularly intact.”“No signs of compartment syndrome.”“No hypotension or escalating oxygen requirement.” 4) Close the loop (timeline + next steps)This prevents the consult from floating in limbo and protects patient flow.Script: “When do you expect to see the patient, and do you want anything done before you arrive—NPO, repeat labs, additional imaging?” 📝 ED Consult Script General ED Consult Script “Hi, this is Dr. ___ in the ED. I’m calling for a ___ consult. The reason is ___. Briefly: ___ year-old with ___. We’ve done ___ and started ___. I’m concerned about ___. Can you see them today, and what’s your preferred next step?” Septic joint / Ortho Example “Hi, this is Swami in the ED. I need an ortho consult for suspected septic arthritis. 43-year-old with 3 days of atraumatic knee swelling and fever. XR negative. Tap produced purulent fluid—cultures sent. Antibiotics started after aspiration. Can you evaluate for operative management, and when can you see the patient?” Neurology example (time-sensitive) “Hi, this is Dr. ___ in the ED. I need neurology for suspected acute stroke. Last known well ___. NIHSS ___. CT/CTA completed (or pending). I’m calling to discuss candidacy for thrombolysis/thrombectomy and next steps. When can you evaluate and what additional workup do you want now?” ⛓️💥 Common ED Consult Mistakes (and Fixes) Mistake: Long story before the askFix: Lead with the outcome in the first sentenceMistake: Unfiltered data dumpFix: Provide only decision-relevant detailsMistake: No timelineFix: Ask explicitly when they’ll see the patient and what they need firstMistake: Implicit “ownership”Fix: Clarify who is admitting, who is following, and what happens if the patient worsens ✋ What to Do When a Consultant Pushes Back Even a perfect consult can meet resistance. Your job is to stay calm, keep it professional, and protect the patient.1) Ask “why?”Don’t argue first—diagnose the refusal.Script: “Help me understand your concern about seeing this patient.” Many refusals are based on misunderstanding: wrong service, missing key detail, or incorrect assumption about stability.2) Restate the consult in one sentence, then offer optionsIf the conversation starts spiraling, reset it.Script: “To be clear, I’m concerned this is septic arthritis and needs ortho evaluation. If you don’t feel you’re the right service, who should be—rheum, medicine, or another surgical team?” This keeps you collaborative while preventing dead ends.3) Humanize the decision (use sparingly)This is a “high-voltage” tool. Use it when stakes are high and you’ve already clarified the medical facts.Script: “I’m worried we’re missing something time-sensitive. If this were your family member, what would you want us to do next?” Use it to re-anchor to patient risk—not as a guilt tactic. ⚡️When and How to Escalate a Consult Escalation isn’t personal—it’s a safety mechanism when there’s an impasse that threatens timely care. When to escalateTime-sensitive condition is delayed (e.g., septic joint, cord compression, testicular torsion, GI bleed with instability)No clear disposition plan despite reasonable ED evaluationConsultant refusal blocks needed specialty decision-makingPatient safety or deterioration risk is increasing in the ED How to escalate (lowest to highest intensity)Ask for the consultant’s attending (if speaking to a resident)Call the on-call attending directlyInvolve ED leadership/medical directorEscalate to service chief/department chair (rare, but real)Hospital supervisor/admin escalation for immediate operational impasseScript: “We’re at an impasse and the patient needs a decision. I’m escalating to clarify ownership and ensure timely care.” ️ Documentation Tips for Consult Refusals Documentation should be factual and patient-centered, not punitive.Include:Your clinical concern and why the consult is neededWho you spoke with (name/role)Their stated reason for refusal or delayAlternatives discussedEscalation steps taken and final plan 👉 FAQ: Emergency Medicine Consults What is the best way to call a consult in the ED?Introduce yourself, lead with the specific ask, summarize only decision-relevant details, and close the loop with a clear plan and timeline. What should I say when a consultant refuses to see a patient?Ask why, clarify misunderstandings, restate your concern and the ask, and request an alternative plan or appropriate service. When should I escalate a consult?Escalate when an impasse delays time-sensitive care, threatens patient safety, or prevents appropriate disposition. How do I document a refused consult?Document the clinical concern, who you spoke with, their stated reason, alternatives discussed, and escalation steps taken. 🏁 Conclusion Mastering emergency medicine consults makes you faster, safer, and easier to work with. The goal isn’t to “win” a consult call—it’s to get the patient the right care, with clear ownership and a shared plan. Distinguishing aspiration from striving with ego, Joseph Goldstein gives listeners permission to have a sense of purpose along their spiritual path. This week on Insight Hour, Joseph Goldstein discusses:Having a sense of purpose within the impersonal nature of all things Aspiration: understanding why we are practicing What the Buddha said about purpose and aspiration on The Eightfold PathSeeing the world objectively without reference to the selfBeing a great faith follower versus a dharma followerResting in our practice and letting go of unhealthy striving Insight Meditation Society and its commitment to diversity Maintaining the right attitude and openness to all experiencesThis episode was recorded at the Insight Meditation Society Forest Refuge and originally published on Dharmaseed"The Buddha definitely laid out a goal. The Eightfold Path leads someplace—it's not just meandering around, not going any place. The Eightfold path is leading to awakening, to enlightenment. We can have that aspiration which sets the direction for our practice, we can say that is a sense of purpose, but we're seeing it not so much in terms of an egoful striving, but a realization of our values and what leads to the accomplishment of our values." – Joseph GoldsteinSee Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

They are discussing Mechanical Vacuum Aspiration and Debulking of Large Vegetations During Cardiac Implantable Electronic Device Extractions, which was published in the Journal of the American College of Cardiology in October 2025. This article describes the use of mechanical vacuum aspiration systems to debulk large intracardiac vegetations during cardiac implantable electronic device (CIED) extraction, aiming to reduce embolic risk and procedural complications. The authors highlight procedural techniques, patient selection, and safety considerations when combining aspiration with transvenous lead extraction. This approach represents an important adjunctive strategy for managing complex CIED infections with large vegetations. Learning Objectives Describe the role of mechanical vacuum aspiration in the management of large vegetations during CIED extraction procedures. Identify patient selection criteria and procedural considerations for safely combining vegetation debulking with transvenous lead extraction. Recognize potential risks, benefits, and complications associated with aspiration-assisted extraction in patients with CIED infection. “When the mind has achieved absolute calm and silence, it can concentrate on the Inner Self. This concentration is done with the help of prayer. Pray to your Inner Self. Try to converse with your Inner Self. Remember that praying is conversing with God. You can pray without formulae; in other words, talk to God: tell him what your heart feels with infinite love.” —Samael Aun Weor, Introduction to Gnosis While sincerity takes precedence over scripted prayer, many religious traditions like Tibetan Buddhism still preserve beautiful exemplars of how to pray to, provide offerings for, and develop a personal relationship with divinity. Although languages and forms differ, the principles of prayer are universal. Therefore, they are useful to study and practice no matter one's faith, denomination, or creed. This lecture examines the path and qualities of a bodhisattva as taught by Shantideva and Gnostic masters, focusing on initiation, bodhicitta, prayer, and selfless service to humanity. Explore practical methods and esoteric symbols: the Tree of Life, the five lower initiations, sexual alchemy, the six paramitas, and the mantra Om Masi Padme Hum, all of which emphasize meditation, introspection, and ethical transformation. By examining Shantideva's confessional prayers, one discovers the upright attitude and longings of a bodhisattva: an initiate who perfects bodhichitta, renounces heavenly power, and aspires to the spiritual heights to better serve suffering humanity. These reflections on humility and sacrifice can guide students to develop more patience, concentration, and wisdom to truly help others and incarnate the Christic force within. See also what how any spiritual student can cultivate bodhichitta on a daily basis. Education On Fire - Sharing creative and inspiring learning in our schools
This episode explores how children's aspirations are fundamentally shaped by their experiences and what they're exposed to. Drawing from Prof Dr Ger Graus's groundbreaking work with the Wythenshawe Education Action Zone and Manchester Airport, they unpack the reality that children from disadvantaged backgrounds often can't dream of careers they've never seen. The conversation moves from airports to universities, examining how partnership between education and industry can transform lives. Ger shares compelling research from KidZania revealing that stereotypes are set by age 4, and discusses the Children's University model that brought families into higher education spaces for the first time.Ger challenges listeners to think beyond traditional schooling, emphasizing the critical importance of out-of-school experiences, parental engagement, and creating purposeful learning that helps young people discover why education matters—not just what they must learn.Key Quotes"If you have a strong purpose in life, you don't have to be pushed. Your passion will drive you there." - Roy T. Bennett (quoted by Ger Graus)"Don't you know that people from Wythenshawe don't fly planes?" - 6-7 year old children to Ger GrausThis heartbreaking response reveals how aspirational lids are placed on children's jars from an early age, limiting what they believe is possible for themselves."We get hung up on schooling more than education...we're quite happy to alienate the parents. We actually don't want much to do with the parents." - Ger Graus"We need to draw the parents in, we must make them our co-educators...it takes a village to raise a child. Well, we need to remember that the village consists of different components and parents and grandparents are very important but we must engage them." - Ger Graus"Give me a confident learner and I'll bring you the grades." - Ger GrausThis powerful statement challenges the system's focus on test results over building confident, independent learners who can thrive in any context.Key TakeawaysChildren can only aspire to careers and opportunities they know exist—exposure mattersStereotypes about career choices are set by age 4, yet we don't discuss futures until age 14Partnerships between schools, businesses, and communities create win-win situationsOut-of-school experiences are not luxuries—they're essential for breaking cycles of disadvantageTrue education requires engaging parents as co-educators, not alienating themWe need futures awareness in primary schools, not just careers education in secondary schoolsJoin the conversation using #educationonfire and share your stories of expanding children's horizons.Chapters:00:10 - Celebrating Milestones in Education00:39 - Introduction to the Series: Gare Grouse Gets Gritty12:50 - Aspirations and Limitations: The Impact of Local Perceptions on Career Choices17:55 - The Importance of Experience in Learning

He explains that the specificity of board roles varies based on the scale and maturity of the organization, using a real example of a board search he is currently involved in. Jason discusses how sophisticated boards often have specific requirements for board members, such as industry experience, geographic expertise, and specific skill sets. Identifying and Defining Board Roles When asked about the various categories of board roles, such as finance, data analytics, and HR, Jason explains that the most common request is for recently or actively retired CEOs, followed by CFOs with specific finance experience. He highlights the importance of understanding the nature and type of business the company is in, such as regulated industries, capital-light businesses, or capital-heavy businesses. Board Member Etiquette Jason outlines the main drivers for wanting to be on a board: prestige and the desire to be helpful. He explains the concept of "noses in, fingers out" in governance, emphasizing the importance of board members being helpful but not overly involved. He also discusses the range of compensation for board members, from stipends to significant annual fees, and advises against depending on board compensation as a primary source of income. He stresses the importance of being willing to fire oneself from a board to provide objective advice to the CEO. The Reality of Joining a Board for Management Consultants Jason advises not to limit aspirations and suggests using a simple litmus test: "if the company wouldn't hire you as a top executive, they probably won't consider you for a board role." He explains the importance of nonprofit boards, both fundraising and operating boards, and how they can provide valuable experience and networking opportunities. Jason discusses the potential for board roles in small private companies, large private companies, and public companies, emphasizing the importance of regional connections and unique experiences. The Role of Executive Search Firms in Board Recruitment Jason explains that search firms are often involved in board searches for public or pre-IPO companies and large private equity firms. He advises building relationships with search firms and being responsive and helpful when they reach out for market intelligence or advisory work. Jason also shares the importance of having a network of firms that work in your industry or location and how advisory work can lead to board opportunities. How Boards Vet Prospective Members The conversation turns to the process of being vetted and evaluated for a board role, including interviews, background checks, and social media history. Jason explains that some boards generally recruit with a lighter touch than other roles, but private equity and regulated boards may conduct more thorough diligence. He advises candidates to ask about the board's process, including the last board member hired and the steps involved in the recruitment process. He also emphasizes the importance of meeting all board members and ensuring a good fit in terms of personality and interests. The Commitment Reality of Being on the Board Jason talks about the typical time commitment for board members, including meetings, committee calls, and ad hoc time with the CEO. He explains the importance of understanding the size of board decks and the amount of preparation required for each meeting. Jason also advises candidates to be patient and persistent, as the process of getting on a board can take years and is often unpredictable. Identifying Risks to Board Members When asked about the risks involved in accepting a board position and the importance of D&O insurance, Jason recommends consulting with a D&O insurance broker to understand the market and ensure appropriate coverage. He advises candidates to be aware of any litigation or regulatory risks associated with the board and to seek legal advice if necessary. Jason also emphasizes the importance of understanding the board's D&O policy and ensuring that board members are covered appropriately. Final Thoughts and Advice Jason reiterates the importance of understanding the time commitment and potential disruptions that can arise. He advises candidates to be patient and persistent, as the process of getting on a board can take years. Jason shares a story about a former CISO who became a sought-after board member, illustrating the unpredictability of the process and the importance of perseverance.
