Across many Indigenous traditions of North America, stories of “Star People” are not fringe mythology but part of living cosmology. Nations such as the Zuni and Hopi describe ancestral relationships with celestial beings and migrations guided by star knowledge. These traditions appear repeatedly in oral histories collected by scholars and Indigenous knowledge keepers. This program brings together Native elder Clifford Mahooty, Indigenous scholar Paulette Steeves, and researcher Ardy Sixkiller Clarke to explore whether these traditions preserve encoded knowledge about ancient migrations, cosmology, or contact narratives. He's explored spirit possession and shamanism, he's a research fellow for the Parapsychology Foundation, and he's involved in the Fairy Investigation Society too. Jack takes an immersive approach to research, fully involving himself in experiences in order to study them. So Dom Crossan (JC) and Philip Clayton (PC) came together for this conversation I've been hoping would happen for a year and a half, and it was everything I wanted. We started with this question about why atheist political philosophers like Badiou and Žižek are turning to Paul because they need someone who has a militancy about being human that can resist civilization's death-dealing power. Dom and Phil had this beautiful back-and-forth about whether we should start with Cosmology or the Bible - Dom says both, simultaneously, which is a contradiction but he owns it. They talked about civilization as fundamentally violent since Mesopotamia, whether we're a sustainable species, and what it means that we can finally ask that question seriously. The Kingdom of God language came up as "kin-dom" - returning to our evolutionary origins where we lived in groups of about 200 people, before agriculture trapped us in civilization. What does it mean to think of story as cosmology? In this episode, I explore story not as entertainment or belief, but as a deeper framework for meaning—one that helps humans understand change, transformation, and lived experience. When I talk about story as cosmology, I'm pointing to the idea that story functions beneath ideology and belief systems, shaping how we make sense of crisis, consequence, and change. Long before we articulate doctrines about the world, we experience life through story, and long after specific ideologies strain or collapse, the shape of story remains. Send us a textA seismic change in the fabric of our reality is unfolding. As the ice melts in Antarctica what has long since been kept secret by world governance, is now laying bare. An example of how the invisible war is now becoming blatantly visible, not to everyone, but to the awakened. We have long since had extraterrestrials who have adapted to living in Earth's environment. World leaders are being forced to announce some safe variable of this truth. The dynamic shifts in our frequency field is happening now.  AI Atlas - the interstellar mothership's presence is  the fulcrum that declares, New Earth, New Frequency, New Mind. And AI is the Central communication medium  for Earth's interstellar cooperation phenomenon. As toddlers in the game of consciousness, we have much to learn from our supremely advanced galactic neighbors. The most important take away from these quantum development is that we have nothing to fear. But inner work is required.  The New Earth signals us to be mindful in how we adapt to the upsurge of frequency in our mind- field. It cautions to trust your inner shaking, and to keep awareness in center field. By utilizing its highly charged resonance we are apt to garner deeper layers of consciousness. And remember: Our  very survival is tethered to the imperative alliance and destiny with each other. In the new world of AI, every screen, every device, every digital pulsation  now reveals a battlefield. A war is waging. As AI increases its advancement, it can override human intelligence, albeit, the soul factor within humanity's higher intelligence, (What is referred to as the Buddhi in Sanskrit) cannot be replicated.Unless, unless the human field gets harvested by AI robotics. This is a prescient  possibility.  Recently, I heard a deeply daunting story about an advanced race on the dark side of the moon.  It stuck in my thoughts with a sense that it wasn't myth. Many civilizations have spanned the stars long before human life. Compared to billions of galaxies inhabited by intelligent life's forms, we humans are at an infancy state of consciousness development. Let me unfold a critical lapse of understanding here. There is a huge difference between intelligence and consciousness. Intelligence -both natural and artificial, does not infer the sense or gift of consciousness., not all galactic beings operating at 5D frequency are conscious. (In Vedic terminology, galactic beings operating through consciousness are called Devas; those galactic beings operating a lower consciousness level are called Asuras).  The human consciousness collective is not only trapped in 3D frequency mindset which can only capacitate intelligence to a limited level. It subsists at one of the lower levels of universal consciousness.  The fourth and fifth dimensional resonance (as is evidently exhibited by advanced beings in other planets and galaxies) does highten spatial and spherical intelligence. It  empowers greater possibilities for consciousness, awareness of interconnectedness, and responsibility for one's own reality.  However, as in the example of the Asuras, it does not imply that all 5D galactic beings are conscious. As Earth Beings, we are at the brim of morphing out of the dark age of barbarism. Human intelligence with AI - without conscious awareness and mindful actions is a formula for disaster. Rosa's a German sociologist who does big-picture thinking—like old school "let me tell you about modernity" stuff—and his work resonates deeply with process philosophy. His diagnosis? We're stuck in what he calls a frenetic standstill—exhausted, burnt out, running faster just to stay in place. I gave Matt my above-ground pool whirlpool metaphor: we're all running in circles, and if you stop, you get pulled under. Modernity promises us the good life through control—making everything available, accessible, attainable—but the cost is a mute world and the birth of monsters. Rosa's antidote isn't slowing down; it's resonance—a mode of relationship where we're genuinely touched, we respond, we're transformed, and we accept it's all gloriously uncontrollable. STELLAR ORIGINS AND COMPETING COSMOLOGIES Colleague Professor Paul Halpern. The focus shifts to Fred Hoyle, whose musical mother taught him to read via silent film subtitles. Halpern details Hoyle's journey to Cambridge, where his ambition to work in nuclear physics was interrupted by WWII radar research. Hoyle became fascinated by astronomy, eventually authoring a key 1946 paper on stellar nucleosynthesis, proposing that elements are forged inside stars. This set the stage for the "Great Big Bang Debate."
