In this episode of WarDocs, Dr. David Hilmers, a retired Marine Colonel, four-time NASA Space Shuttle astronaut, and dual-trained physician in internal medicine and pediatrics offers a sweeping perspective on what it means to apply hard-won lessons from space exploration, global infectious disease response, and humanitarian medicine to the pressing challenges facing military medicine today.    Dr. Hilmers traces a career that began with a chance bulletin posted in Japan advertising NASA's new astronaut program. With an aviation background and advanced degrees in electrical engineering from the Naval Postgraduate School, he applied on a whim and spent twelve years at NASA — flying the first mission of Atlantis, the first post-Challenger flight, two classified DOD missions, and a scientific mission just before starting medical school. After retiring from the astronaut corps, he fulfilled his lifelong dream of medicine, completing a dual residency before dedicating subsequent decades to sub-Saharan HIV, Ebola response in Liberia, malnutrition research, refugee health in Bangladeshi camps, and hepatitis B elimination across the Pacific.     The conversation covers the parallel demands of deep space medicine and austere combat environments — both defined by communication blackouts, limited resources, and the need for expert decision-support without a physician readily available. Dr. Hilmers describes his consultancy work for NASA on Earth-independent medical operations using mixed reality and large language models, and explains how these same AI-driven tools represent a critical force multiplier for a special forces medic, Navy corpsman, or Space Force guardian operating in denied or degraded environments.    He introduces the knapsack problem — a NASA-developed optimization framework that balances mission requirements against the mass, volume, power, and training cost of medical equipment — and argues persuasively that this model is directly applicable to the prolonged field care challenge posed by large-scale ground combat operations (LSCO). As the golden hour becomes a relic of counterinsurgency-era warfare, AI-powered kit optimization and just-in-time procedural training become existential requirements, not enhancements.     On wearable technology, Dr. Hilmers articulates a layered, agentic-AI approach to battlefield health monitoring — smart garments, sweat sensors, tactical watches, smart rings, helmet concussion dosimeters, and hearables — all operating under strict emissions control, with edge computing that pushes actionable alerts to the individual soldier without requiring eyes on a screen. The real holy grail is seamless integration into situational awareness networks that give squad leaders and brigade commanders real-time readiness data.      Dr. Hilmers closes with a frank assessment of soft power: the withdrawal of USAID and PEPFAR funding has ceded influence in the Pacific and across the developing world to China, with projected millions of preventable deaths. He calls on military medicine to lead humanitarian engagement as both a moral imperative and a strategic tool. His final advice to young military medicine professionals — dare to be more than you think you can be, and know that it is never too late to reinvent yourself — distills a life of uncommon service into a single, actionable mandate.   Chapters (00:00:00-00:01:44) Introduction: From Aviator to Astronaut to Academic Physician (00:01:45-00:06:25) AI Tools for Austere Environments: Space, Combat, and Remote Medicine (00:06:26-00:13:19) Lessons from Ebola, Refugee Camps, and Global Infectious Disease (00:13:20-00:18:49) The Knapsack Problem: Optimizing Medical Kits for Prolonged Field Care (00:18:50-00:27:16) Wearable Technology and the Digital Twin Warfighter (00:27:17-00:31:18) Bench to Battlefield: Academia, Industry, Military Collaboration and Closing Advice Chapter Summaries (00:00:00-00:01:44) Introduction: From Aviator to Astronaut to Academic Physician Dr. Hilmers recounts a career trajectory shaped by opportunism and determination. Drafted-era military service led to Marine aviation, graduate engineering degrees at the Naval Postgraduate School, and a chance NASA application while stationed in Japan. Twelve years as an astronaut on four Space Shuttle missions gave way to the long-deferred dream of medicine — a dual residency and decades of academic and humanitarian work that followed.   (00:01:45-00:06:25) AI Tools for Austere Environments: Space, Combat, and Remote Medicine Dr. Hilmers draws direct parallels between deep space medical operations and combat or remote-area medicine: limited communications, absence of ground-based expert support, and the demand for just-in-time training. His NASA consultancy work on Earth-independent medical operations using mixed reality and large language models maps directly onto the needs of a corpsman, special forces medic, or Space Force guardian in a denied environment.   (00:06:26-00:13:19) Lessons from Ebola, Refugee Camps, and Global Infectious Disease The Liberia Ebola response revealed the fatal flaw of large, fixed treatment units in an outbreak that moved dynamically across the country. That lesson produced the EZ Pod — a collapsible, helicopter-transportable isolation unit developed at Baylor. Experience in Bangladeshi Rohingya refugee camps reinforced the life-saving power of vaccination and the growing threat of climate-driven disease migration. The core lesson: enter a community to ask what is needed, not to impose solutions.   (00:13:20-00:18:49) The Knapsack Problem: Optimizing Medical Kits for Prolonged Field Care Drawn from NASA mission planning, the knapsack problem is a systematic optimization of medical kit contents against the probability, fatality, and resource cost of each anticipated condition. Dr. Hilmers argues this framework is essential as LSCO scenarios eliminate the golden hour and require prolonged casualty care in the field. AI is positioned as the engine that can dynamically optimize triage decisions, antibiotic allocation, and resource sequencing in real time.   (00:18:50-00:27:16) Wearable Technology and the Digital Twin Warfighter A layered ecosystem of smart garments, sweat sensors, tactical watches, smart rings, helmet concussion dosimeters, and hearables can create a real-time digital twin of the individual soldier and the collective readiness of a unit. The critical design constraints are EMCON compliance, MIL-SPEC durability, edge computing without internet dependency, and seamless integration into situational awareness networks from the squad level to the brigade. The holy grail is actionable data pushed to the soldier without requiring eyes off the mission.   (00:27:17-00:31:18) Bench to Battlefield: Academia, Industry, Military Collaboration and Closing Advice Effective innovation requires continuous, bottom-up communication among academia, industry, and the military — and that means all three groups must get their hands dirty in field testing. Dr. Hilmers cautions against fitting a "sexy AI application" to a problem it does not solve. His closing message to young military medicine professionals: take every opportunity the military offers, dare to exceed your own expectations, and know that reinvention is always possible.       Take Home Messages Austere Environments Share a Common Medical Playbook: Whether the setting is a spacecraft bound for Mars, a combat forward operating base, or a refugee camp in Bangladesh, the medical challenges converge: degraded communications, absent specialist support, and the need for expert clinical decision-making at the point of care. Building systems — AI tools, training protocols, or equipment kits — that address these shared demands creates solutions with broad applicability across military and humanitarian contexts.   Optimize the Kit Before the Mission, Not During the Crisis: The knapsack problem is an operational imperative. Every gram of medical equipment displaces something else, and every gap in the kit becomes a potential fatality during prolonged casualty care. AI-driven optimization of medical kit contents against mission-specific risk profiles must become a standard pre-deployment process, especially as LSCO eliminates the expectation of rapid evacuation.   Just-in-Time Training Is a Force Multiplier, Not a Substitute for Preparation: AI-enabled procedural guidance at the point of care — showing a corpsman exactly how to perform a cricothyrotomy in the moment it is required — can bridge lethal knowledge gaps in combat. This capability augments, it does not replace, rigorous pre-deployment training. The human must remain in the loop; AI is an advisor, not a commander.   Wearable Technology Only Delivers Value When Integrated Into the Fight: A smart ring that predicts illness or a helmet sensor that quantifies blast exposure generates no operational value if the data is not actionable at the point of decision. Battlefield wearables must operate under strict emissions control, function without internet connectivity, perform edge computing locally, and surface alerts to the soldier or commander seamlessly — without requiring eyes off the mission. The integration challenge is harder than the sensor challenge.   Military Humanitarian Medicine Is Both a Moral Obligation and a Strategic Asset: Soft power is not a secondary mission — it is a strategic instrument. Withdrawal from programs like USAID and PEPFAR cedes influence to adversaries in every region where that presence is abandoned. Military medicine, with its global footprint, logistical capacity, and trained personnel, is uniquely positioned to demonstrate that American warfighters can be both deadly and compassionate. Investing in military humanitarian medicine builds alliances that firepower alone cannot secure.   Dr. Hilmers Biography    David C. Hilmers, MD, EE, MPH, MSEE, is a multifaceted physician, professor, and former NASA astronaut with a diverse career spanning aerospace medicine, international humanitarian relief, and military service. A faculty member at Baylor College of Medicine since 1999, he currently works as an academic hospitalist in Houston, Texas. His clinical and research expertise focuses heavily on infectious diseases, global health, and optimizing medical care for deep-space exploration. Deeply committed to volunteer medical service, he and his wife serve as medical leaders for the NGO Hepatitis B Free. He has delivered critical humanitarian and disaster relief across more than 50 countries, providing care in conflict zones like Ukraine and Iraq, and during severe disease outbreaks.    Before his medical career, he served 20 years as a U.S. Marine Corps aviator and electrical engineer, retiring as a Colonel. He flew on four space shuttle missions and was inducted into the U.S. Astronaut Hall of Fame in 2024. Use code AGENCY171 DEAR WLS Question from OopsieDaisy from California For double tap by OopsieDaisy I've been listening to a lot of old episodes and started the book One Second After, a book Jeremy talked about and holy fuck it's good. Since an EMP would wreck all of the electronics in vehicles, what EMP-safe vehicle would you guys choose to take into an EMP ridden world? You have 10 grand to spend. Go. Question from Mike in NH 1st: quick positive review for C&G, I've been carrying my CSX-E series in a Covert for a month now, so great. Thank you to Chris and company 2nd: At what point does a used pick up become too nice/collectible to use/carry? I recently purchased a S&W 640-2. I didn't know anything about it apart from it was in excellent condition, and that it was pre-Lock. I thought it was weird for a steel J-frame to be 38spl only. It turns out the -2 was only made 1997-99 for NYPD as an approved back-up/off duty weapon. So it's kind of rare. Thanks for the opinions and the great shows. -Mike in NH Question from Duke of Crude from Texas Duke of Crude Hey fam, Thanks for reading my question on episode 449 about carry guns and meth country. My definition for meth country is either: 1. Urban sprawls (ex. Tulsa, Memphis) where hard drug use is prevalent 2. Rural areas (ex. West Virginia) where high poverty creates new hard drugs and users But going back to my question on 44 special in particular. Why does no one make a 44spc+P? I was looking for something like 1000-1200 fps 200gr out of a 4in barrel and I could not find any factory loads or even Underwood ammo that makes +P rounds. I have a 329PD that I like, but you will snap your wrist before you get through an entire cylinder of factory load 44 magnum. I was looking at that new s&w nightguard 396 but with my mind blown on how anemic 44 special is, I think I might have to pass. Do ya ll have any recommendations on 44mag/ special revolvers for EDC carry? Question from amonymous texas from coward from Texas Where can I find ammo to fight robots? There's a company called roborounds (roborounds.com if you are not familiar) that has a lot of cool bullets you can fire from standard firearms. For instance one fragments iron filings to short out circuit boards and another one creates a localized EMP on impact. The fucking robots are coming and I need this ammo, but I can't find a place to buy it. I see a few online retailers who used to carry it. I tried contacting them and they won't get back to me. Probably because I'm a nobody. If these guys are done, is anyone else making anything similar? Second related question: what about drone defense rounds? They had some cool stuff for 12 ga shells, but I have seen similar stuff from other companies. Are there any specific ones you know of or recommend? -amonymous texas from coward Question from Anonymous Coward from Oregon From No one Your printers are always running. What are you guys printing? Except Jeremy. He don't mess with that nerd shit. Question from Jon W from Washington Jon W I unfortunately live behind enemy lines in Washington state. Years ago when they first became sponsors, I took you up on your advice and signed up for Second call Defense and felt reassured that they had my back if the worst day ever happened. Since that time, our now turd Ferguson governor who used to be the Attorney General made having said insurance illegal in Washington. My question is hypothetically if a person had a close relative in another state could they sign up for Second Call Defense Using that address? They have said that they cover people that are signed up even if an incident occurs in a state like Washington, New York and I forget the other states that think it's murder Insurance. Your wisdom is greatly appreciated Keep up the good work! #wlsislife GUN INDUSTRY NEWS Bond Arms Snake Slayer (BASS) The Bond Arms Snake Slayer is a compact double-barrel derringer designed as an outdoor companion, chambered in .357 Mag/.38 Spl and .45 LC/.410. THE AGENCY BRIEF Agency Update   Agency Update   Agency Update   Agency Update Preparedness. Austin Terrorist Attacks. WLS IS LIFESTYLE GOING BALLISTIC USA Today Warns on Gun Violence Archive Mass Shooting Data Disputes (Savage) The article critiques the Gun Violence Archive (GVA) definition of mass shootings as four or more people injured or killed (excluding shooter), which includes gang, drug, and domestic incidents, contrasting with the FBI's narrower focus on mass killings with four or more deaths. GVA reports inflated figures like 656 mass shootings in 2023 and 417 in 2019, versus FBI's 30 for 2019, sourced from media and social media. USA Today notes these numbers may differ from FBI/CDC data and could be challenged, amid criticisms of media misuse for anti-gun narratives. Illinois v. Joel Fernandez: SWAT Arrest for Possessing 38 Rounds of Ammo Without FOID Card (Savage) Joel Fernandez, a 20-year-old in Lake in the Hills, Illinois, was arrested by SWAT and charged with possessing 38 rounds of ammunition without a valid Firearms Owner ID (FOID) card. The incident involved a joint investigation leading to a search warrant, shelter-in-place order, and preschool lockdown. Under Illinois law, possessing even a single round without a FOID card is a serious crime. New York Senate Bill 362: Proposed 10-Day Waiting Period for Gun Purchases (Savage) New York lawmakers have introduced Senate Bill 362, mandating a 10-day waiting period for firearm purchases from dealers after passing the national instant criminal background check and completing Form 4473. The bill applies to lawful citizens in New York and is criticized as an unnecessary delay on Second Amendment rights with no proven public safety benefits. Opponents, including the NRA-ILA, argue it fails to reduce suicides, homicides, or mass shootings and may endanger those needing immediate self-defense. Roberts v. ATF: Third Lawsuit Challenging NFA Constitutionality (Savage) The American Suppressor Association Foundation and other 2A groups filed Roberts v. ATF in U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Kentucky, challenging the National Firearms Act's registration regime for suppressors and short-barreled firearms. The suit argues that with the $200 excise tax eliminated, the remaining registration lacks justification as a revenue measure per Sonzinsky v. United States. It joins similar challenges in Brown v. ATF and Jensen v. ATF. U.S. v. Hemani: Supreme Court Case on Section 922(g)(3) Firearm Ban for Unlawful Drug Users (Savage) The U.S. Supreme Court is set to hear oral arguments on March 2, 2026, in U.S. v. Hemani, challenging the constitutionality of Section 922(g)(3), which prohibits firearm possession by ‘unlawful' drug users. The case involves federal defendant Ali Danial Hemani, who admitted to regular marijuana use while possessing a firearm. Circuit courts are split on the law's validity under the Second Amendment. FBI on Austin Mass Shooting: Evidence Indicates Potential Nexus to Terrorism (Savage) The Austin mass shooting occurred at Buford's Backyard Beer Garden on Sixth Street near the University of Texas campus, where an unidentified suspect drove an SUV to the scene, fired a pistol at patrons, and was killed by Austin police less than one minute later. The FBI, assisting the Austin Police Department, stated evidence on the subject and in his vehicle, including a Koran, indicates a potential nexus to terrorism, though motivation remains undetermined. Three people were killed including the shooter, with 17 injured and 14 hospitalized. REVIEWS Review: Lord Norvell 5 stars. For the Love of god please get rid of Savage. He is unbearable and ruins the show. I dont mean this jokingly seriously I have been listening for many uears and i had to quit because I cant stand listening to him talk. He cannot pronounce any words and sounds like his mouth is full of cum . You have him reading the news which is absolutely retarded and i have to shut it off even though I want to actually hear the news. His stupid personality is fucking lame and he just fucking runins everything. I loved the show so.much more when he was gone. Review: Nick Kerr five squares for the stranger things heavy DT episode. it really helped humanize jeremy to hear him let his feminine side roar like katy perry riding a flaming pegasus into a crabs vagina…but also kind of sad, because you could tell he wished he had the courage to come out in dramatic fashion like that kid on the show. Review: Half-rican 5 stars. Pretty decent cast all around. Shawn is loosing weight, and will probably end up with saggy skin covering up his ssb like a set of old lady meat curtains. Show sucked when Savage was gone. I missed us both hearing or reading the news for the first time live on the show, Then there is Nick. if I could perform a miracle I would swap his butthole with Aaron's . I don't know if it would be an improvement. And that just leaves Jermey (say it like a Mexcian). Good old Jermey Meno-Pozderac. Some people say he is a cunt, that would explain how all those shirts look like they have a yeast infection. Review: Sigger Jim Trigger Warning! When talking about gunpowder, these racists used the term “black” powder. This is incredibly outdated and hurtful. If you are not willing to use the term “African American Powder” or “Powder of Color” then maybe you shouldn't have a gun podcast. 5 stars Before we let you go – JOIN GUN OWNERS OF AMERICA We'd love if you supported the show, join Agency 171 at agency171.com. Scott MacKenzie interviews Kevin Kucera from NW Signal Maintenance at Distribute Tech in Orlando, Florida. Kevin, a 34-year veteran in the electrical industry, discusses their niche services, including rail services and ultra-fast surge arresters. These arresters, developed in collaboration with Advanced Fusion Systems, operate in 300 nanoseconds and prevent electromagnetic pulse damage. They are compact, with a current range of 4-18 kV, and are designed to extend the life of lightning arrestor systems. Kevin emphasizes their importance in preventing equipment failures and reducing operational expenses. Contact details for NW Signal Maintenance are provided for those interested in their products. Action Items [ ] Reach out to Kevin Kucera to learn more about the ultra-fast surge arrester product. [ ] Connect with Kevin Kucera on LinkedIn to stay updated on the EMP protection technology. Outline Introduction and Welcome Scott MacKenzie introduces the podcast, emphasizing its focus on industrial innovations and professionals. Scott welcomes listeners and highlights the importance of celebrating industry professionals. The podcast is broadcasting live from Distribute Tech in Orlando, Florida, with around 17,000 attendees. Scott introduces Kevin Kucera, the guest, and mentions his company, NW Signal Maintenance. Kevin Kucera's Background Kevin shares his background, mentioning his 34-year career in the electrical industry and his experience in electrified transportation. He holds master electrical licenses in seven states and general engineering and contractor licenses in California. Kevin humorously recounts a story about meeting the president of the IBEW, Lonnie Stevenson, during a teacher training event in Ann Arbor. The story involves Kevin singing the national anthem and receiving a pen from Lonnie Stevenson. NW Signal Maintenance Overview Kevin provides an overview of NW Signal Maintenance, focusing on their rail services contract and specialized equipment. The company installs cell phone systems and tunnels, and they perform wheel flat detection and under-bridge truck equipment maintenance. NW Signal Maintenance is also developing a new business unit around ultra-fast surge arresters in collaboration with Advanced Fusion Systems. Scott and Kevin discuss the importance of ultra-fast surge arresters, which operate in 300 nanoseconds and prevent electromagnetic pulse damage. Technical Details of Ultra-Fast Surge Arresters Kevin explains that ultra-fast surge arresters extend the life of lightning arrestor systems and reduce operational expenses by minimizing equipment failures. The arresters shunt transients to Earth without interrupting the system, meeting and exceeding Mil Spec requirements. The technology is relatively new, with a low end of 4000 volts and an upper end of 18 KV, aiming to reach 72 KV in the future. Installation varies depending on whether it's done in an OEM switchgear or in the field, with live installations requiring shutdown procedures. Applications and Future Prospects Kevin sees the ultra-fast surge arresters being integrated into the grid to protect medium voltage equipment over the next 50 to 100 years. He compares the size of their product to a large coffee

Looking to up your game with a super-informative masterclass on professional-level motorsport wiring? This episode of Tuned In featuring Erik Reinertsen of Hardwired Performance is exactly what you're after. Use “HWP50” to get $50 OFF our HPA Motorsport Wiring Starter Package:  https://hpcdmy.co/wiringstarterbErik specialises in building top-level motorsport wiring harnesses, choosing to focus primarily on the demanding offroad racing market — but wiring wasn't always on the cards for this Californian. Despite growing up around hotrods and motorsport with a father who built cars for a living, he was actively discouraged in following his Dad's footsteps, instead being pushed towards a more conventional career. The problem was, you can't really expect your kid to not become a diehard car guy when he spends all his time messing around in your shop full of cool builds and weekend after weekend at the track. So, straight after school, Erik walked into an apprenticeship at a hotrod shop and began building his skills in fabrication, engine building, and nearly everything else in the car building world — but it was wiring that he excelled at. Many years later, Erik is a self-taught maestro building ultra-high-end motorsport looms for some of the most impressive race cars and trucks out there. In this episode, we dig deep into Erik's huge bank of knowledge and experience, discussing a big range of wiring-related topics — from the art of concentric twisting, autosport connectors, which tools are worth the investment, the correct gauge of wire to use for different applications, and a whole lot more.Erik also weighs in on the myth of “Milspec”, discusses the many cases in which a pro motorsport wiring harness is complete overkill, and the lessons learned from running his own wiring business — particularly when it comes to the challenge of accurately quoting work and turning down jobs that you know just aren't right for you.Vicious Mustang: https://www.instagram.com/viciousstangFollow Erik here:IG: @hardwiredperformanceDon't forget, you can use “HWP50” to get $50 OFF our HPA Motorsport Wiring Starter Package: https://hpcdmy.co/wiringstarterbTime Stamps:4:06 How did you get interested in cars?13:50 How did you get into motorsport wiring harnesses?19:57 Why did you decide you were most passionate about wiring?33:18 When did you go out on your own?37:50 Overview of Hardwire Performance44:57 Colour coding in wiring47:41 What makes up a professional motorsport wiring harness?52:39 Why do we concentric twist our harnesses?1:07:44 Do you use software for designing your harnesses?1:11:36 Coupon code1:14:39 Advantages of an Autosport connector1:20:53 Tooling required to work with Autosport connectors1:34:05 What are service loops?1:42:10 Using glue-lined boots vs non-glue-lined boots1:46:19 Sizing wire gauge for circuits2:00:12 Final three questions

Anyway, in addition to Mike, Adam Maxwell joins Jimmy and Mark to discuss the “Wild West” world of red dots on pistols. With no convenient standard to adhere to like our beloved AR-15’s with their “Mil-Spec” parts, there seems to be about a million and one ways to mount a red dot to your handgun, thoughts on proper technique for their application and opinions on reliability or viability of red dots in competition or duty use. These guys also touch on the history of red dots’ application on pistols and some of the common mistakes people make when transitioning from using the traditional irons to a red dot sight, being such a relatively new technology to most. The one thing that is consistent with Canine Tactical is that they always work towards creating an elite working canine in there breeding program. Sometimes, Mother Nature doesn't cooperate or is inconsistent. It takes a lot of time and effort to properly care for, house, feed, raise, and train each pup to adulthood, only to discover not all of them meet the qualifications for an effective Police/Military Working Canine or a home/executive protection canine. Canine Tactical's breeding program is built on achieving a standardization of a Working Canine - a MIL-SPEC Canine. A standardization of a canine that has the traits that Canine Tactical desires; Hunt, Defense, and Fight. There are other traits that encompass an effective Working Canine, but these three are a top priority. After multiple breedings, Canine Tactical has yet to achieve stability in each canine. The stability found in Canine Eudoris® Actual, the top male canine is second to none.  A stable canine with these priority traits and characteristics make the learning and training process for the handler who doesn't fully understand the essence of handler skills, achievable, every time, all the time. (layman’s terms: "the dog makes you look good") Canine Tactical is the first kennel to partner up with the world leaders in cloning technology (ViaGen Pets) to produce cloned puppies from there most proven genotypes. The Eudoris®, Apache and Rook brands stand for excellence in the field and these K9s are developed in a unique, customized program that is specifically tailored to prepare dogs with this exact genetic makeup. Canine Tactical is committed to incorporating proven science into our program to achieve the highest quality results possible. 3 principles of the Morton  Method - Officer first mindset- What makes a great K9 team is an officer.  An officer still needs to maintain his individual shooter skills.  How the situation is approached is paramount and the K9 will follow suit. - Take away the controlled environment in training- The Morton/Method does not restrict the handler and the dog's thinking or actions in an unrealistic way.  Allowing him to use his training as well as leaving him the ability to improvise when needed. - Remove the conflict in training- Take the "Alpha male" type out of the sight picture.  Respect the K9 and learn to work around the personality of the K9 and not the trainers' ideology. Morton/Method concept introduces the canines to use their nose from day one, no matter the age and no visual stimulus is applied. So he started the Clones in detection/hunting for the ball. The Morton/Method does not utilize the food reward concept. While the Clones were in the room he noticed they were all in hunt mode with no end in sight, nose to the ground (nonstop). They were sniffing seams of doors, running in and out of dark areas, and up and down stairs. They didn’t know what they were hunting, but they needed to hunt.
