Managing my energy... Here is a difficult topic for me. How to understand my energy? How to sync it with others? Which signals should I pay attention to? What can I do to bring a high level of energy? These are few of the many questions we cover in the next Episode of the podcast with the great Josefine Campbell, executive coach and Author of the book Power Barometer https://josefinecampbell.com/book-power-barometer/. During 2 hours, I had a fabulous conversation about Josefine and her upbringing, the importance of martial arts in her life, the multiple jobs she had, until she became the executive coach and author she is now. Here are a few gems we talked about:

"The practice of Qigong combines concentration, meditation, visualization, movement, and biofeedback to command the flow of Qi and direct it where it needs to go to enable the best form of balance and harmony. This balance can bel achieved in various forms: cognitive, physical, spiritual, moral, medical, and more." David Wong, The Frequency Expert, from Life of Qi: The Science of Life Force, Qi Gong, and Frequency Healing Technology for Health, and Longevity. Watch this interview on YouTube here: https://youtu.be/bHBkVEmUiQ0 Welcome back to The Neuroscience Meets Social and Emotional Learning Podcast, where we connect the science-based evidence behind social and emotional learning (that's finally being taught in our schools today) and emotional intelligence training (used in our modern workplaces) for improved well-being, achievement, productivity and results—using what I saw as the missing link (since we weren't taught this when we were growing up in school), the application of practical neuroscience. I'm Andrea Samadi, an author, and an educator with a passion for learning and launched this podcast 5 years ago with the goal of bringing ALL the leading experts together (in one place) to uncover the most current research that would back up how the brain. On today's episode #312 with David Wong we will cover: ✔ The importance of keeping our energy/frequency high at all times, especially while interacting with others in our personal and professional lives. ✔ What led David Wong to create the Qi Coil Technology to help raise a person's frequency, and improve their life? ✔ What are some other ways we can raise our frequency? ✔ Is there really a frequency for health, wealth and success? How can we "tap into it?" ✔ Where to learn more about David Wong's work, and his vision to raise the frequency of the world. For today's episode #312 we will be meeting with David Wong[i], also known as "The Qi Master" is a world-renowned Qi (Chee) Energy and Life Force expert. He is a best-selling author, visionary inventor, inspirational speaker, martial artist, qi gong practitioner and entrepreneur. He founded Qi Life, a company that develops cutting-edge technologies for personal wellness. His passion for helping others unlock their human potential through ancient wisdom and modern science was ignited after he successfully self-healed from an incurable digestive disease he had for 10 years by using frequency and energy devices. We are meeting David Wong just at the right time on our podcast. We have just taken a shallow dive into Dr. Joe Dispenza's work, that's focused on the importance of maintaining balance with our energy, understanding that can access a Quantum World where anything is possible (healing our body, or improving our personal and professional life). David reached out to me via social media a few months ago, and I knew he was someone I needed to interview. I hadn't read his book yet, or spent the time researching what he has accomplished in the field to help others unlock their highest potential. I just knew. We found a date and time that seemed far off in the future, and now we are here. Just keep an open mind as we learn from David today. If you look at his website, you see testimonials of his work from doctors and healers from all over the world. He's followed and supported by Vishen Lakhiani, the CEO of MindValley who reinvented Jose Silva's Program, as well as Jim Kwik, the World's #1 Brain Coach. I know there was a time that meditation in the workplace was not an accepted stress reduction strategy, and today most workplaces promotes advanced wellness strategies like this for their employees. With an open mind, we can now learn what else could possibly do to take our results to new heights. Let's meet David Wong, and see how his work can help us to change our life (our body/mind and spirit) improve our results, our health, and even our wealth. David, it's wonderful to meet you. I know in our correspondence you mentioned you are in Canada. I grew up in Toronto. What part of Canada are you in? I'm going to guess Vancouver, since I know you are an hour behind me in Arizona? INTRO Q: Before I even get to the questions that I sent you, I've got to start with what happened with us tonight because I think it's vitally important for the work that you do. We could probably spend all of our time together talking about this and we could learn so much from your wisdom here. So, from the point of view of someone whose work is centered around energy and frequency, I wonder if you can explain from your perspective what happened to us tonight starting from the minute you sent me the message saying we would need to reschedule our interview? What did you “feel” over our messages through social media? Can energy REALLY be felt from a distance? What made you reschedule tonight with me instead of another day? Can our energy impact the way others interact with us? What can we learn from this experience as it relates to the energy we put out into the world? What should we ALL understand about the importance of keeping a positive mindset, even when you receive news that might be disappointing? Q1: So, I've got to start with your book, because it gives an overview of your life. Can you share what happened when you were 9 years old? How did this accident you have change you and put you on this life path you are on today? Q2: I related to your experience you wrote about with church. Now my parents forced us to go to church. Every Sunday. My Mom taught Sunday school, and it was something I did because I know it's what she wanted. My sister sang in the choir, and I played the bells, and loved performing and practicing. I just loved how going to church felt even though I was forced to go. Your connection to music and church made me remember how much peace I felt walking through the hallways there, and how renewed I felt for a long time after I returned. What do you think that was about? I know that you felt this energy with church and music also. Q3: I've covered often how we are all connected to spirit, like the colors of the rainbow, and how often our goals are on different vibrations. Can you explain how you came to understand this concept? Vibrations and Frequency and how you came to be known as the Frequency Expert? Also, how would you define Quantum Physics? Q4: Where did martial arts come into the picture for you? How did martial arts increase your mental strength and stamina? Q5: How did you take everything you were doing/learning and use it for building wealth? This is an area I plan on covering this topic the end of the year. Q5B: Can I “tap into” someone else's frequency that I resonate with, and use it for improved results? Q6: What have you invented/created to help others to do the same in their personal/professional life as well as with their health? Where can people learn more about you? What you have created? Your meditations? Your philosophy? David, I want to thank you very much for meeting with me tonight after a long day of training for you. If we both weren't tuned into the importance of keeping our energy levels high, I'm sure we never would have recorded this interview. I think what you have created from ground up is inspiring. I 200% believe in what you are doing, in the tools you have created and the root of your work. This is just the beginning for me, but I'm grateful to have met you. I think my next step is to learn more about what you have invented, and how it can help me, and others. FINAL THOUGHTS Before closing out this week's episode, I did want to say that I knew David's work was important, and I didn't want to wait to reschedule our interview when I knew one of his trainings was running late. I was so grateful this worked out for myself as well as for those who tune in. I'm in the early stages of learning about David's Qi Coils, but will invest in the starter coil, and will come back on to share what I notice. I don't need him to convince me of the importance of keeping my frequency level high, it was the common thread of all of the seminars I sold in the late 1990s, in addition to magnets that were meant to keep us healthy. I actually still use this technology with strains, and injuries, and wonder how else I can improve my own mental/physical health and wellness. If you are like me, and always want to learn more, I'd start with David's book, and then look around his website. It was interesting for me to see how many people around the world he has been helping, as well as to see the CEO of MindValley, Vishen Lakhinani, following his work. We'll revisit David's work after I've tested his Qi Coils, and other products and we'll see you next week for PART 4 of Dr. Joe Dispenza's Becoming Supernatural, that's all about our energy centers in our body. If you don't already know, by the end of this episode there will be no questions as to how introspective and thoughtful of a person and golf instructor Sean Foley is after listening to today's conversation. From the DERT to talking about his time working with Tiger Woods all the way to his family life and personal development, Sean takes a wholistic and granular approach to everything. He is a self proclaimed manifester of his goals and keeps a clear vision as to where he's been, where he's at, and where he's going. I gained a lot from this episode with regard to golf, but far more with regard to things that have nothing to do with smacking the little white ball around. In this episode, I reflect on times when I have stood by my personal and professional values.
This AMA is a follow-up to the 3 part summer series I created for the podcast to celebrate 20 years of sharing teaching ideas online and reflect on my personal and professional growth during that time. In the final ep of that series, I included a link to an anonymous Google form for folks to submit questions about things I didn't answer in the series that they're curious about. Your questions were absolutely wonderful and you've brought up some super interesting things for me to discuss! Here are the questions you'll hear me answer in this episode: Childfree or childless? "If it's not too personal, I wondered about your infertility journey. I remember praying for you when you shared about it before. Having gone through IVF myself, I know it may be too sensitive, and I respect that." (NOTE: If this is a triggering topic for you, skip to the 13:30 minute mark.) Blowback from taking a stand? "Your message about how the train was leaving the station (you can't keep waiting to convince everyone to go with you, and you are just going to move forward with what you thought was right) has really stuck with me, maybe moreso than anything else you've ever said and I've been following you since 2003. It's really been impactful on my life because I really cared way too much about making sure every possible person would be happy with every possible thing I did. I have been wondering, what were the repercussions of that? Did you have a drop in followers, angry emails, anything like that? Enneagram number? "Have you done any work with the Enneagram system? In the last few years, I have heard you speak in a way that sounds as though you may have. If so, I would love to hear about it." Highly-sensitive teachers? "How does being an empath impact your work! Can you explain with some examples?" and "As an introvert and empath myself (happily married, but no kids), I have found it hard to make friends in the teaching world. Many teachers are strong personalities who either don't seem to understand or relate to me or I feel drained by. Any tips for introverts and empaths regarding surviving and thriving in teaching?"and "You talked about how as an introvert & empathetic person, you had to find ways to get energy from your students instead of it just being a drain. Would you share some? I related to this immensely and wanted to hear more! Thanks! Mental health struggles? "Do you have any advice for teachers who struggle with anxiety and depression and did you struggle with either of those things as a teacher? I love your work and appreciate your perspective so much! I am also an introvert and a highly sensitive person and sometimes I don't think I am cut out for this career because of my personality and mental health struggles." Admin who don't share the 40 Hour workweek vision? "Hi Angela, I love all you do and I loved your three-series podcast this summer. Thank you very much. Would you consider doing an episode about how teachers can work alongside administrators who DON'T share the 40 Hour Teacher Workweek vision? I'm talking about the administrators who routinely expect overworking as a part of the job (and some colleagues, too!)" Connecting with local advocacy groups? "Beyond putting this hope out into the universe and sharing it with you, I wanted to ask — as someone connected to many education justice and activist groups and orgs in the city — if you have any desire to get involved in our local work to make the NYC schools more equitable, culturally responsive, and democratic? Your voice is so powerful and we need all hands on deck. Let me know if you have any desire to get involved and I'm happy to connect you to folks who will find ways your unique gifts can serve the fight for education justice in NYC and beyond." Life is a series of choices, and the power within these choices is what I'll be discussing on today's episode. From my personal experiences in the military, I've discovered that no matter the ordeals we face, we can always choose our responses, attitudes, and the paths we want to take. We often get so caught up in the hustle and bustle of our lives that we forget this power within us, but it is there, always present to help us make a difference. We'll be unraveling the intricacies of decision-making. I'll share how every thought, every action is a choice waiting to be made and how these choices can shape our lives in significant ways. This episode is not just about making choices — it's about making conscious and deliberate decisions that benefit not only us, but also those around us. And as a bonus, I'll be sharing my experience with the 100 options of kombucha!Next Steps:Schedule Consult Call: https://wendiwray.com/consultDownload Free Guide: 5 Steps to Minimize the Mental & Emotional LoadJoin us in the Facebook Faith-led Military Women Community at bit.ly/beyondthemilitarygrpListen to Related Episode:Episode 143:MVP: Thinking about the military transition keeping you stuck? You've probably heard the saying, "You're either growing or you're dying," and I, Lemon Price, couldn't agree more. This episode of the Milk and Honey podcast is a deep dive into the symbiotic relationship between personal growth, spiritual development, and leadership. We explore the cycle of spiritual maturity that occurs when we enhance our character, learn new skills, and deepen our relationship with God. In my journey as an entrepreneur, I've encountered numerous courses with new-age concepts that conflicted with my faith—forcing me to sift through and evaluate each one. The breakthrough came with the theology-backed personal development offered by the Girl Power Alliance, a community that prioritizes prayer, support, and Christian leadership. This episode is an invitation to join me on this continuous journey of growth and becoming the leader God has called you to be. So, are you ready to invest in yourself and achieve radical transformations in your life? Let's get started.✅ Grab your favorite hot beverage✅ Bibles

It wasn't until Amanda Cassiday (she/her) lived in a rural village in Burkina Faso that she experienced the resilient power of community, and learned that positive, abundant outcomes are not possible without cultivating the conditions that allow individuals, teams, and communities to thrive. For 15 years, this approach has been a driving force in Amanda's personal and professional life, from facilitating a woman-led microfinance group in Takaledougou that continues to operate since 2009, to leading design teams responsible for some of the most successful launches in Johnson & Johnson's history, bringing purpose and consumer needs to the heart of strategy & innovation. She is a maker, a student of permaculture, an advisor, coach, and facilitator to businesses, and most recently the co-founder of Engather which seeks to cultivate prosperous, resilient communities by activating local gift economies. Our conversation weaves through her experiences and the wisdom that she's gleaned through them including thoughts about how capitalism and our current economy is not taking care of the needs of the majority, the codependency inherent in capitalism and the patriarchy, how she was able to step away from the toxicity of capitalism and build community in Kingston, and how community interdependence and belonging is essential for our survival. Along those lines, she recommends the book Community by Peter Block as providing some answers to big questions on how to get community back on track. You can find Amanda and her work in these places:Engather: https://engather.co/# (sign up for local Kingston beta test by clicking the 'Register Now" button at the bottom Personal Professional website: https://www.amandacassiday.com/Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/insta.quoi/Happy Lunar New Year!Today's show was engineered by Ian Seda from Radiokingston.org.Our show music is from Shana Falana!Feel free to email me, say hello: she@iwantwhatshehas.org** Please: SUBSCRIBE to the pod and leave a REVIEW wherever you are listening, it helps other users FIND IThttp://iwantwhatshehas.org/podcastITUNES | SPOTIFY | STITCHERITUNES: https://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/i-want-what-she-has/id1451648361?mt=2SPOTIFY:https://open.spotify.com/show/77pmJwS2q9vTywz7Uhiyff?si=G2eYCjLjT3KltgdfA6XXCASTITCHER: https://www.stitcher.com/podcast/she-wants/i-want-what-she-has?refid=stpr'Follow:INSTAGRAM * https://www.instagram.com/iwantwhatshehaspodcast/FACEBOOK * https://www.facebook.com/iwantwhatshehaspodcastTWITTER * https://twitter.com/wantwhatshehas
