Avui parlem de Quadropolis, el primer joc publicat de l'autor francès François Gandon i flamant guanyador del Premi Dau al Millor Autor Internacional Novençà del 2016. Un reconeixement amb el que vaig tenir l'honor de ser part del jurat i vaig participar a la gala de lliurament de premis del passat divendres en el marc de la cinquena edició del Festival Dau Barcelona. Quadropolis us enamorarà per les seves mecàniques senzilles, perquè cadascuna d'aquestes té un component temàtic molt ben trobat i perquè el poden jugar amb el mateix nivell de gaudi jugadors casuals i jugadors avesats (el prototip del joc va guanyar un dels concursos de creació de jocs més importants del planeta: el de Boulogne Billancourt promogut pel CNJ). Parlant d'aspectes més d'editor que d'autor, la producció i els components estan molt cuidats (marca de la casa Days of Wonder) i cada còpia del joc incorpora un petit homenatge a diferents ciutats del món en forma de rajoles amb monuments propis de cada país. Barcelona surt representada amb la Sagrada Família.
