You were born whole. But somewhere along the way, a part of you got pushed into the dark, and it has been running your life ever since. Spiritual coach Katie Clarke has spent years studying why people feel stuck, not enough, and disconnected from everything they are trying to create. Her answer does not start with habits or strategy. It starts with the shadow. She explains how unresolved moments in childhood, a dismissal, a missed glance, a house full of unspoken tension, split your psyche into parts. One part got buried. Another rose up to protect it: the perfectionist, the people-pleaser, the one who went quiet. You have been living as the protector. The buried part has been running your frequency. What Katie brings to this conversation is rare. She does not just name the problem. She walks you through the actual process of facing these parts, letting them speak, and reclaiming the power they have been holding. And what she has found is that the path to attracting what you want does not start with desire. It starts with becoming. There is a version of you on the other side of this work who is not chasing. Who is not blocked. Who is not wondering why nothing sticks. This conversation is for them. Katie on YouTube Katie on Instagram Join Cosmic Creators In this episode you will: Understand how shadow selves are formed from unresolved childhood moments and why perfectionism, people-pleasing, and self-sabotage are actually protector traits Learn the step-by-step shadow work process including admit, observe, vent, reassure, and redirect, and why you have to feel it fully before you can release it Discover the Law of Displacement and how to rewire a limiting belief by finding an opposite belief you can actually believe in first Grasp the Be-Do-Have order of creation and why becoming the person you want to be must come before the results you are chasing Recognize your current energetic frequency by examining the results already showing up in your relationships, finances, and health For more information go to https://lewishowes.com/1947 For more Greatness text PODCAST to +1 (614) 350-3960 Follow The Daily Motivation for essential highlights from The School of Greatness More SOG episodes we think you'll love: Myron Golden Bob Proctor Meg Josephson Get More From Lewis! Civil War, the Ides of March, and the Spiritual Godfather. Guest Author: Josiah Osgood. Cicero eventually returned to Rome, but the republic was sliding toward civil war between Caesar and Pompey. Although Cicero tried to remain neutral, he eventually joined Pompey's side but was pardoned by Caesar after the latter's victory. Cicero was present in the Senate on the day Julius Caesar was assassinated. While he was not part of the conspiracy, he celebrated the act and was famously hailed by Brutus as a spiritual "godfather" of the plot. The aftermath was chaotic, as the assassins' hope for celebration was met with a swift popular reaction against them. This shift was largely due to Mark Antony, who gave a dramatic funeral eulogy and displayed Caesar's blood-spattered toga to the crowd. Cicero recognized that Antony's genius utilized the same rhetorical techniques he had mastered: demonstrating feelings rather than just talking about them. This moment locked Cicero into a final, deadly contest with Antony over the future of the republic. He began writing and delivering the Philippics, a series of speeches designed to destroy Antony's political standing. 71450 VIRGIL

People suffer because they view life through the lens of stored past experiences, projecting fears and desires onto the future. Because of this, they become trapped in endless cycles of worry, resistance, and fear. Our true nature is the awareness that observes these thoughts, emotions, and experiences. Spiritual growth comes through recognizing ourselves as the witness rather than becoming lost in what we are witnessing. Ultimately, liberation comes not from changing the outside world, but from learning to handle our inner reactions and remaining seated in the awareness that observes all experiences. © Sounds True Inc. How many times have you dimmed your light, hidden parts of yourself, or caught yourself judging the way you show up in the world? In this episode, Lacy and Jessica explore visibility, self-worth, deservingness, and authentic expression. They unpack why we resist being seen, and how stepping into visibility becomes one of the most powerful shifts we can step into in the New Paradigm. As we move into an era of refinement, we're being called to question everything that no longer feels true. That includes the magnetic "f*ck it" energy that emerges when we stop performing for love, approval, success, and belonging and start choosing radical authenticity instead. If you've been feeling the call to stop hiding and step into the next version of who you're becoming, this is your invitation. Your manifestations aren't asking you to become someone else; they're asking you to become more of who you truly are. Ready to stop dimming your light and start shining at full luminosity? Identifying where our problems originate is one thing, but locating the Divine Healer is key in getting clear of obstacles in our lives. At each mile marker in our life journeys, God is standing alongside the road, smiling at us, and holding out His strong hand to guide us. And from the indispensable wisdom of scripture to stories of human triumphs over tragedies, He is always there reminding us we're never truly alone. His grace and mercies begin to overshadow and overwhelm those forces that want to harm us, and it's then that we see God for who He truly is. 1 Peter 5:10 says, “And after you've suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you.” And that is Good News! Let's pray. Lord, it's important to see who our enemy is, but it's more important to look past that and concentrate our focus on you who brings us that peace that passes all understanding, the kind that gets down deep in us and calms us from the inside out. In Jesus' name, amen. Change your shirt, and you can change the world! Save 15% Off your entire purchase of faith-based apparel + gifts at Kerusso.com with code KDD15.
There's no greater joy to see your kids walking in the truth; no greater sorrow to see them abandon it. Yet 66% of 20 year olds will abandon the churches of their teen years. What contributes to this? What can dads do to prevent it? What are the safety nets we can put in place…how can we cultivate openness in our kids…how can we set boundaries and avoid bad influences…how do we effectively nurture and disciple?
Many of us carry a deep sense that something is wrong with us—that we are not enough, not lovable, or somehow disconnected from belonging. Yet beneath these conditioned beliefs lives a natural capacity for healing, wisdom, and love. In this talk, I explore the practice of Spiritual Reparenting—bringing the qualities of mindful awareness and compassion to the wounded places within us. Through stories, reflections, and practical guidance, we discover how to meet our fears, shame, loneliness, and unmet needs with the same presence and care that every child longs to receive. Together we'll explore: ✨ Why feeling truly seen and loved is essential for healing and awakening ✨ How early wounds create patterns of separation, self-judgment, and reactivity ✨ The transformative question: "Where does it hurt?" ✨ How mindfulness and compassion help us reconnect with our deepest belonging ✨ Ways to offer ourselves the loving presence that allows healing to unfold naturally This talk is an invitation to move beyond the trance of separation and remember the truth of who we are: connected, awake, and held within a larger field of love. As we learn to meet ourselves with understanding and kindness, we become more able to bring that same healing presence to our relationships and to our world. What if the key to spiritual growth isn't finding your true self, but becoming many selves at once? In this episode, Michaela explores the concept of self-complexity and how developing multiple dimensions of identity may expand your capacity to communicate with spirit, strengthen manifestation practices, and navigate profound ego deaths without losing your center. Michaela discusses why people with richer inner worlds often move through transformation differently and how spiritual evolution may require expanding the idea of who you are. Spiritual warfare takes center stage as Darlene shares a disturbing testimony that began inside a home she believes was marked by darkness before her family ever arrived. Her childhood fear escalated into something far more sinister when her brother changed overnight and the house seemed to turn against everyone inside it. Darlene describes years of terrifying encounters that made her question whether the attacks were dreams or memories of something happening beyond the physical world. As Tony Merkel traces the details of her story, the conversation moves toward Michael Aquino and the possibility that military intelligence had darker connections than most people are willing to face. The deeper Darlene goes, the more her memories point toward ritual abuse and a hidden world that preyed on children through fear and spiritual control. This is not just a story about darkness because Darlene also shares how Jesus Christ brought healing to the places she once locked away. After decades of silence, she speaks with the strength of someone who survived what was meant to destroy her.If you're able, consider helping the Merkel family with medical expenses by donating to Lindsay's GoFundMe: https://gofund.me/b8f76890

Scripture is powerful. It has the power to comfort, guide, convict, and restore. But when it's taken out of context or used to control, it can also leave deep wounds. In this conversation, Dr. Alison sits down with theologian and Mending the Soul co-founder Dr. Steven Tracy to explore how Scripture can be used as medicine—or as poison—for those who have experienced abuse. Together, they unpack some of the most commonly misused passages around submission, forgiveness, honoring parents, and divorce, while offering a more faithful way of reading Scripture: one that reflects God's heart for the vulnerable, the oppressed, and the wounded. Here's what you'll cover * Why spiritually abusive people often weaponize Scripture* How to recognize the difference between biblical truth and spiritual manipulation* What God reveals about His heart for those experiencing abuse* Why humility matters when we interpret Scripture* How healthy boundaries honor both God and human dignity* How survivors can begin rebuilding trust in both God and His Word Whether you've experienced spiritual abuse yourself, love someone who has, or simply want to handle Scripture with greater wisdom and compassion, this conversation offers both clarity and hope. Because God's Word was never meant to keep you trapped in harm. It was always meant to lead you toward healing. When fear takes control, God just crushes it.None of us are immune from feeling unsettled at times. Circumstances have a way of knocking us off balance. How we respond not only affects our lives, but those who are watching us.In the film “The Patriot,” a colonial militia leader sees the British kidnap his son. Taking the two younger sons with him, they wait in ambush in the forest. One of the sons is rattled and crying, so the father puts his hands on the boy's shoulders, looks him in the eyes, and says, “Steady.” Fear drains from the boy's face.In that moment of terror for the whole family, the father's example won the day, and their day ended well.In 2 Timothy 1:7, we learn the source of calm. It says this: “For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love, and a sound mind.”God has given you a spirit of power, love, and a good mind. So don't let fear, the enemy, or the world intimidate you when it comes to sharing your faith. Speak God's truth with boldness and love. Your moment will come one day, and by keeping in mind the truth of God's word, courage will overcome fear.Notice the qualities mentioned in Second Timothy. God has actually given us courage, but also power, and a sound mind—also phrased as self-discipline. And discipline will help keep you steady in a crisis. That spirit of power actually does our fighting for us, and it is the enemy who is afraid.Let's pray.Father, you are good to us. Just as Jesus modeled for us how to handle fear when he prayed in the garden, we know that you have our back, and we can be courageous. Thank you for a sound mind and a calm heart in times of trouble. In Jesus' name, amen. Change your shirt, and you can change the world! Daniel Foor returns to Sounds of SAND for a wide-ranging conversation that moves from his own winding spiritual path to the urgent question of why so many spiritual teachers stay silent in the face of injustice. A doctor of psychology, initiated priest in the Yoruba Ifá tradition, and practicing Muslim, Daniel makes the case that animism is the antidote to human supremacy, that Islam is fundamentally a relational and earth-honoring tradition, and that genuine spirituality cannot retreat from the political realities of our time. Was the resurrection of Jesus planned long before it happened? In this episode, Dr. Bryan Cutshall explores the powerful connection between Passover, the Feast of Unleavened Bread, and the Feast of First Fruits, revealing how these biblical feasts prophetically pointed to the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ centuries before the events took place. Discover the significance of the striped and broken matzah, the meaning behind First Fruits, and why the resurrection happened at the exact appointed time in God’s redemptive plan. More than a historical event, the resurrection is a reminder that what appears to be the end is often where God begins something new. In this episode, you’ll learn: • How the Jewish feasts point to Jesus Christ • The prophetic meaning of Passover, Unleavened Bread, and First Fruits • Why the resurrection of Jesus fulfills biblical prophecy • What First Fruits reveals about the believer’s future resurrection • How God’s plan was unfolding long before anyone could see it • Why the grave was never the end of the story Whether you’re interested in Bible prophecy, the Jewish roots of Christianity, or growing deeper in your understanding of Scripture, this episode offers powerful insights into one of the most important events in history. Subscribe for more biblical teaching, prophecy insights, and practical lessons from God’s Word.
A recent story has implied that a coffee shop in Brooklyn refused service to a Jewish man for no reason, sparking protests and claims of "that's how it began in Nazi Germany." The invocation and promotion of this caricature is proof that we are entering the final stage of a repeating cycle. The public is being force fed, for better or worse, antisemitic propaganda about Israelis and Jews while embracing true antisemitism in their demeaning of Arabs (and Islam). The flag of Islam has now been wrapped around the same people that destroyed Germany in the 1920s with drugs, porn, sexual depravity and genital mutilation. Every single thing decent Americans hate is being blamed on Muslims, from grooming children to socialism, despite these things being very "Jewish" in nature. For example, the New York City Mayor is supposed to be a radical Muslim who throws gays off of buildings and yet his team is comprised of Jews and rabbis; he further invested millions into transgender politics while hosting a pride parade. This subversion of the responsible parties can be found with the Roman Empire too, which is always blamed for the death of Jesus, attacks on Christians, and destruction of the Jewish temple. The truth is the Romans found no fault with Jesus, and allowed the Jews and Christians freedom until their violence and subversion became a threat to stability and order. https://www.ohchr.org/sites/default/files/documents/hrbodies/hrcouncil/sessions-regular/session62/a-hrc-62-crp-2.pdf*The is the FREE archive, which includes advertisements. Philippians 2:5-8 / June 23-24, 2026 From Philippians 2:5–8, Pastor Chuck Swindoll unpacks one of the most majestic passages in Scripture: how Jesus, though existing in the very form of God, emptied Himself, took the form of a bond-servant, and humbled Himself to death on a cross. Human beings have spent thousands of years attempting to answer the same question through different languages, different religions, different cultures, and different economic systems: “What is worth more than love?” The answer has never been spoken directly because few people want to admit the transaction exists. Yet every society reveals it. Status. Security. Protection. Prestige. Resources. Access. Influence. Proximity to power. Civilizations change. The currencies change. The transaction remains. Which brings us to an uncomfortable possibility. Perhaps the side-piece is not the woman sharing a man. Perhaps the side-piece is love itself. What if emotional exclusivity has quietly become secondary to the benefits attached to the relationship? What if the relationship survives not because intimacy is thriving, but because the exchange remains profitable? This question reaches far beyond gender. It reaches into the architecture of human attachment. Developmental psychology teaches that people often normalize whatever conditions accompanied their earliest experiences of connection. Anthropology demonstrates that mating systems have always been influenced by resource acquisition and social positioning. Neuroscience reveals that intermittent reward schedules can create extraordinarily powerful attachment bonds. Philosophy asks whether desire seeks truth or merely seeks satisfaction. Spiritual traditions question whether attachment to symbols can become a substitute for direct experience. Viewed through that lens, the side-piece economy becomes something far larger than infidelity. It becomes an investigation into the hidden marketplace operating beneath modern intimacy. A marketplace where attention can be exchanged for validation. Sex can be exchanged for security. Access can be exchanged for identity. And self-respect can be exchanged for proximity to a life that appears more valuable than one's own. The most unsettling possibility may not involve the woman sharing the man. The most unsettling possibility is discovering that neither person is actually pursuing love. Both may be pursuing a transaction. One rents admiration. The other rents access. Both call the arrangement a relationship. Tonight we ask a question many people will find difficult to answer honestly: If every external benefit disappeared tomorrow, would the connection remain? Or would the relationship reveal that intimacy was never the product being purchased in the first place?

No one is truly alone. Some people have many relatives and friends, others just a few. Occasionally, someone will have no real friends or family, but all of us interact with humans, and that over time, has proven to be dicey. The health of our relationships is one of the biggest factors in how we function each day. Turmoil and chaos at home or work, or both, puts us in emotional quicksand. On the other hand, healthy relationships in our lives improve our overall health and make us more productive. In Genesis, God modeled right relationships for humans, and this model continues through the Bible right to the end in Revelation. From this, we see that our first priority in relationships is to be in fellowship with our Creator. Get that one right, and everything else flows. Following close behind is finding harmony in our human relationships, and getting this right is crucial to finding peace. Ephesians 4:2–3 says, “Be completely humble and gentle. Be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace.”Most people are familiar with the well-known Bible verses that deal with relationships, such as Paul's wisdom from Ephesians, but Scripture is loaded with helpful and healing relationship commands. We hesitate to call it advice because God doesn't really give advice. He tells us what is good for us and what may be harmful. For example, a fairly obscure passage in Job speaks to mean in any era having healthy relationships with women. In Job 31:1 the suffering man says, “I made a covenant with my eyes not to look with lust at a young woman.” Wow. So simple, yet very important and profound. That chapter goes on to say that God sees all that we do. He's watching how we treat people. Job made it clear that a man can decide he's going to treat women with respect. It isn't complicated or beyond our reach. So often, simply deciding to be a decent human being leads to waves of healing and peace of mind for everyone. Lots of books have been written about relationships, from marriage to raising children, but the best book of all has the best wisdom, and if you check that out, your relationships will thank you. Let's pray.Father God, you've given us the gift of interacting with other people. Each is unique and created special. We ask that you send the Holy Spirit to guide our relationships so that they're pleasing to you and to others. In Jesus' name, amen. Change your shirt, and you can change the world! In this episode I'm answering a pressing question Christian women in difficult marriages ask: how do you find a church that will actually support you instead of silence you?Because not all churches are created equal, and the difference between a safe church and a harmful one can change everything for a woman trying to find her footing. I'll break down exactly what to look for, what to ask, and what red flags to run from.

Prayer, Bible reading, and spiritual leadership are all good things, but what happens when faith becomes a source of tension instead of connection in marriage? In this episode, Dr. Kim tackle the unhealthy spiritual dynamics that can quietly create distance between spouses: spiritual superiority, spiritual withdrawal, and using faith as a weapon. While most couples don't intend to hurt each other spiritually, it's easy to fall into patterns that leave one spouse feeling judged, inadequate, or alone. He discusses why spiritual loneliness can be so painful in marriage, how comparison and pressure shut down connection, and what it looks like to pursue spiritual intimacy in a way that invites both spouses closer to God and each other. If you've ever felt frustrated that your spouse isn't where you'd like them to be spiritually, or if you've ever felt like you could never measure up, this conversation offers practical encouragement and hope for building a healthier, more united spiritual foundation. Episode Highlights: When Faith Creates Distance Instead of Connection The Hidden Damage of Spiritual Superiority and Withdrawal Moving from Weaponized Faith to Shared Faith Quotes from This Episode: God designed marriage as the most intimate of all earthly relationships. There's a oneness God intended for marriage that touches every aspect of life. When one spouse longs to pray together and it never happens, it doesn't just feel frustrating it feels lonely. Loneliness can turn into resentment or even despair. Nothing will shut your spouse down faster than feeling spiritually inferior in their own home. The spouse that feels like they can never measure up will stop engaging. When scripture becomes a sword instead of a shared foundation something has gone badly wrong. Spiritual growth cannot be forced. You can model it. You can invite. But you cannot drag your spouse into a deeper faith any more than someone could have dragged you. God does that work. Time to Talk About it: Are you feeling disconnected from your spouse spiritually? If you are, have you approached your spouse honestly with your concerns? Ask them: How can we use our faith to encourage each other rather than pressure, correct, or compare one another? Mentioned in This Episode: Awesome Marriage is on Instagram! After a long walk on a hot afternoon, nothing else will do — your body simply craves water. You might try to push through or distract yourself for a while, but eventually that thirst demands to be answered. Whitney Hopler draws from that universal experience to illuminate something even more profound: the spiritual thirst every human soul carries for God. Psalm 42 gives it a beautiful and urgent image — a deer panting desperately for streams of water — and reminds us that this longing is not a weakness. It is a sign that we know where true life is found. The psalmist wrote from a place of spiritual dryness, far from the temple, separated from the worship he once knew. Rather than ignoring that ache or filling it with lesser things, he turned it into a prayer. Whitney invites us to do the same. The world offers endless substitutes — achievement, entertainment, the approval of others — but sooner or later the soul senses something is still missing. That restlessness is not an inconvenience. It is God drawing us toward Himself. When we let spiritual thirst motivate us to seek Him the way a deer urgently searches for a stream, we discover that He never ignores those who come looking — and that the refreshment He offers satisfies in ways nothing else ever could. Bible Verse "As the deer pants for streams of water, so my soul pants for you, my God."— Psalm 42:1, NIV Ponder Today Your deepest need is a relationship with God — not just the things He provides. Work, achievement, entertainment, and human approval can satisfy for a season, but only God can fulfill the longing at the very core of who you are. Spiritual thirst is not a sign of failure — it is an invitation. When you sense that something is missing even in a full and busy life, that restlessness is God drawing you closer. Don't ignore it or try to fill it with something else. Busyness is one of the greatest barriers to hearing God. Constant activity keeps us distracted from the quiet messages He is sending. Creating space for stillness and reflection is not optional for a soul that wants to thrive. Let spiritual dryness motivate you toward God, not away from Him. The psalmist did not let his dry season produce despair — he let it produce a prayer. A season of spiritual drought can become the very thing that drives us to seek the living water more urgently. Prayer is an opportunity for relationship, not only a list of requests. When we come to God simply because we want to know Him more, our faith deepens, our prayer life transforms, and we begin to experience the fulfillment our souls have been searching for all along. A Prayer for You Today Dear God, I am feeling spiritually dry and thirsty for You. Even though my life is filled with activity, something important is still missing. Only a relationship with You will truly fulfill me. Please meet me where I am and help me develop the longing described in Psalm 42, where my soul thirsts for You the way a deer thirsts for water. Draw me closer and motivate me to seek You each day. When I feel spiritually dry, remind me that You are the living water who refreshes my soul. Teach me to come to You not only when I need help, but because I want to know You more. Thank You, God. Amen.
