Plusieurs millions de Français se sont expatriés. Entre 4 et 7 millions. Difficile d'avoir un chiffre précis, car beaucoup d'entre eux ont omis de s'inscrire au Consulat de France…  Les cinq pays les plus prisés de nos compatriotes, seraient, dans l'ordre : la Suisse, les États-Unis, le Royaume-Uni, la Belgique et l'Allemagne devant le Canada, l'Espagne et le Maroc…   Pour en avoir côtoyé de très nombreux au cours de mon existence avant même de m'expatrier à Berlin, j'ai pu constater, non sans surprise, que les Français non seulement s'adaptaient assez facilement dans leurs pays d'accueil, mieux encore, que leur intégration était souvent une réussite. On constate au passage que ces Gaulois ont laissé dans l'hexagone cette image de « râleurs » impénitents qui souvent n'est pas usurpée…  Certains même, au-delà de réussites professionnelles sont cités comme des modèles d'intégration. Leur apport conforte notre image de marque à l'étranger tout en relayant naturellement les purs produits de nos terroirs qui constituent un des charmes français. Une notion qui ne semble pas avoir été prise en compte à Paris, mais au cours des années on s'y fait…  Il n'y a qu'à voir combien les produits français se retrouvent sur les bonnes tables mais aussi chez l'habitant qui les ont intégrés dans leur vie quotidienne pour s'en persuader.  Pendant deux ans, nous avons donné la parole à la radio à des Français qui ont fait ce choix de l'expatriation. Qu'ils soient installés aux États-Unis, en Pologne, à Singapour, à Tokyo, à Casablanca ou à Marrakech, en Espagne ou au Portugal, en Chine, en Afrique ou encore dans les pays d'Europe orientale : République tchèque, Slovaquie, pour ne citer que ces pays, j'ai été frappé de mesurer en les écoutant dialoguer entre eux combien leur approche et leurs problèmes — pour ne pas dire leurs revendications vis-à-vis du pouvoir politique français — étaient identiques.  Nous avons décidé de continuer à faire parler ces Français qui rayonnent dans leur pays d'adoption. En Allemagne et particulièrement à Berlin, où ils sont assez nombreux à avoir « réussi ».   L'exemple de Didier Canet est typique de cette intégration réussie.   En 1987, il représente les produits de Lenôtre au KaDeWe. La ville lui plaît. Pâtissier dans l'âme, il décide de rester et de combler un manque à ses yeux. En 1995 il créé sa première pâtisserie dans la Berliner Straße à Zehlendorf. Le succès est tel qu'aujourd'hui « les délices normands » ont fait des petits dans la Neue Kantstraße, la Pfalzburgerstraße à Wilmersdorf, au cœur de Wannsee, Chausseestraße, et à Steglitz, sans oublier Stahnsdorf qui est devenu un haut-lieu des délicatesses à la française… Sans oublier le pain français qui a aussi ses adeptes. L'entendre comparer le pain allemand et français est un plaisir pour ne pas dire un enrichissement culturel.  Didier Canet est un homme heureux, bon vivant et fait désormais partie du paysage gastronomique de Berlin et du Brandebourg depuis 27ans. Ses gâteaux, ses tartes, ses croissants feuilletés font le bonheur des petits et des grands, allemands ou pas. Notre Normand a conservé son âme de pionnier et ne manquerait pour rien au monde ces moments de partage avec des compatriotes.   Et pour ceux qui s'inquiéteraient du mal du pays, sa Normandie, rassurez-vous, Monsieur Canet a su rénover un magnifique domaine à Stahnsdorf qui a un côté… normand. Manque plus que le beurre, les pommiers, le cidre ou le Calvados. Espérons qu'il suscitera des vocations pour combler ce vide…  Joël-François Dumont  

Last week we  talked about the long-vanished cemetery railway line which connected Berlin-Wannsee with Germany's second largest burial site, Berlin's Südwestfriedhof Stahnsdorf. This episode remains in the realm of both the dead and the railways but with a serious shift towards Berlin's centre. This time we are travelling to the first half of the eighteenth century and will take it from there until we have reached (and left) one of Berlin's best-known railway termini, Potsdamer Bahnhof. What do large cities do when they run out of space to bury their dead? They go beyond their limits. Traditionally all large European cities like Paris, Vienna or London eventually established new burial sites further and further from their centre. Vienna even considered using the pneumatic tube system to transport their deceased to the Zentralfriedhof (Central Cemetery).By the end of the nineteenth century Berlin faced a similar problem and dealt with it the same way: by opening new cemeteries on its outskirts. In two cases it went even further: it set up new burial grounds in Brandenburg. Im Sommer 2019 wurde Niklas Goslinowski von unserem Geschäftsstellen-Leiter Andreas Wawzyniak für seine 31 Saisontreffer als bester Torschütze der Landesliga ausgezeichnet (Foto). Damit hatte er großen Anteil am direkten Wiederaufstieg in die Brandenburgliga. Ein Jahr später verließ er die Eintracht, wechselte zum Oberligisten RSV Eintracht aus Stahnsdorf.Im Dezember kam raus, dass Nikka, wie ihn alle rufen, seinen Vertrag beim RSV Eintracht für viele überraschend aufgelöst hat. In der 57. Leichenbahn. Witwenexpress. Es war der morbideste Zug der Berliner Geschichte. Und ist heute ein Kult-Ort für Serienfans. Die Friedhofsbahn von Wannsee nach Stahnsdorf. Eine skurrile Linie für Tote und Trauernde. Nazi-Architekt Albert Speer sorgte dann für richtig viel Verkehr. Und heute pilgern junge Serien-Fans zu den letzten Gleisen der verschwundenen Bahn.

Ja, mit Rückenschmerzen und auch Nackenverspannungen haben viele Menschen in sitzenden Tätigkeiten zu tun und nach knapp einem Jahr Homeoffice ist das meist nicht besser geworden - im Gegenteil. Aber was kann ich jetzt tun, damit es wieder besser wird. Darüber sprachen wir mit Martin Schiller, Physiotherapeut aus Stahnsdorf.

Am 13. Juli 2015 fährt Friedhofsverwalter Olaf Ihlefeldt mit dem Fahrrad seine übliche Runde über den Südwestkirchhof Stahnsdorf. An der Gruft des berühmten Filmregisseurs Friedrich Wilhelm Murnau bemerkt er, dass die Tür zum Grabgewölbe einen kleinen Spalt offensteht. Er betritt die Gruft und macht eine Entdeckung, die er wohl nicht mehr vergessen wird. In der Folge wird u.a. das Thema Suizid angesprochen. Holt euch Hilfe, wenn ihr Depressionen oder suizidale Gedanken habt! Zum Beispiel, ganz unkompliziert, bei der Telefonseelsorge unter 0800 111 0 111 oder bei anderen Beratungsstellen.

Im Rahmen der Recherche zu Folge 5 führte Max ein Interview mit Olaf Ihlefeldt, Friedhofsverwalter des Südwestkirchhofs Stahnsdorf.

Mit der Serie "Dark" hat Robin eine neue Lieblingsserie gefunden. Während unserem zweiwöchigen Deutschlandurlaub mussten wir also unbedingt in Stahnsdorf vorbei. Unser Ziel: Die Kirche am Friedhof Südkirchhof finden, die in der Serie immer wieder als Basis von "Sic Mundus" vorkommt.. Problem 1: Ist es okay ein Fotoshooting auf einem Friedhof zu machen? Bevor wir den Ort kannten, hatten wir kein gutes Gefühl.... Problem 2: Links im Bid steht ein Koffer, den wir aber 12 Stunden vor dem Shooting noch nicht hatten. Doch plötzlich stand er vor uns. Tyskland har ett starkt lagskydd för vargen och miljöminister Svenja Schulze vill nu ändra lagen för att göra det lättare att skjuta varg som angriper tamboskap. Att skjuta vilda djur med gevär i tätbebyggt område kan vara farligt. Därför har borgmästaren Bernd Albers i Stahnsdorf förslagit bågjakt istället. Wie es ist, einen YouTube Kanal innerhalb weniger Jahre mit mittlerweile 35.000 Abonnenten aufzubauen, erzählt Anna von einfach nähen in unserem Gespräch, dass wir bei uns zu Hause in Stahnsdorf aufgenommen haben. Anna begann schon als Kind auf der Singer-Maschine ihrer Oma zu nähen. Nach einem abgeschlossenen Jura-Studium, fand sie zu ihrer Nähleidenschaft zurück und machte daraus ihren Job. Einfach nähen ist mittlerweile zu einem Unternehmen geworden, mit eigenem professionellen Studio, von wo aus Anna wöchentlich Live-Streams und Live-Sew Alongs überträgt. In ihren kurzen Filmen legt sie Wert darauf, dass ein konkretes Nähproblem beschrieben und gelöst wird. „Rein, raus, fertig“ nennt sie das, ohne große Einleitung oder Weiterführung zu umfangreicheren Nähprojekten. Auf die Nähvideo-Idee gebracht, haben sie die Teilnehmerinnen ihrer Nähkurse, welche sie in einer Einliegerwohnung ihres Hauses in Münster anbietet. In den Kursen sollte es nicht darum gehen, Schnittmuster vorzubereiten, sondern gleich mit dem Nähen zu beginnen. „Ich wollte kein Geld für Mal- und Bastelkurse nehmen“, sagt Anna und deswegen beschloss sie, das Ausdrucken und Zusammenkleben von Schnittmustern in einem Video zu erklären und den Teilnehmerinnen zur Verfügung zu stellen. Mittlerweile holt Anna jeden Freitag mit ihrem Content viele Tausend Menschen auf ihrem Kanal ab, die meist noch am Anfang ihrer Nähkarriere stehen. Nähen hat sich Anna selbst beigebracht, getreu ihrem Motto „einfach machen und ausprobieren“. Dieser pragmatische Ansatz spiegelt sich auch heute in ihren Videos wieder. Es geht weniger um die technisch überkorrekte Umsetzung eines Projekts und Näh-Fachsprache, sondern darum, dass ein Kleidungsstück möglichst schnell aber trotzdem gut fertiggestellt wird. In ihren Live-Sewalongs gibt sie ein Thema vor und lädt sich dazu einen Gast in ihr mittlerweile mit professionellem Licht, Ton und mit mehreren Kameras ausgestattetes Fernsehstudio ein, um dann gemeinsam vor der Kamera zu nähen. Ein passendes Schnittmuster zum Mitnähen vor dem Bildschirm zu Hause wird im Mitgliederbereich von www.einfach-naehen.com zur Verfügung gestellt. „Die Bindung zu meiner Community ist mir sehr wichtig“, meint Anna, „obwohl es bei dem rasanten Wachstum von einfach nähen immer schwieriger wird, alles selber zu machen“. „Was die Bearbeitung der Kommentare und das Schreiben meines Blogs angeht, werde ich mir bald Unterstützung holen müssen.“ Im weiteren Verlauf unseres Gesprächs plaudern wir noch darüber, dass Anna Konkurrenz gelassen sieht. „Es hängt oft von der Persönlichkeit eines YouTubers ab, ob ihr oder ihm gefolgt wird oder nicht. Zum Thema „Reißverschlüsse einnähen“ gibt es X Videos im Netz, aber noch keines von mir.“ Sollte es einmal einen negativen Kommentar zu ihren Videos geben, regt sie auch das nicht mehr so auf wie am Anfang ihrer Karriere. „Wer mit meinem Stil nicht klarkommt, wird sowieso über kurz oder lang woanders hingehen“. Pragmatisch ist Anna auch, was ihre Garderobe angeht. Umgesetzt hat sie das u.a. in Büchern für Teenanger, die sie erfolgreich verkauft. „Die Bücher sind nichts für Fortgeschrittene. Es geht eher darum, Schnitte anhand der eigenen Maße zu erstellen, die auch frei Schnauze schnell umgesetzt werden können“, meint Anna und bleibt damit ihrer Linie treu.  --- Vielen Dank, dass du dir diese Folge angehört hast.
