Otthon befejezte a felsőtagozatot és a gimnáziumot, ott intenzív olasz nyelvi tagozatra járt. Egyetemista korában hallgatta az esztétika, filmelmélet, filmtörténet, és magyar irodalom órákat is, a bölcsészakoron,  érdekelte a kortárs tánc (járt Orkesztika Műhelybe, Graham és Limón technikára a Trafóban, kontakt improvizációra, stb.), mindig is érdekelte a zene. Ütőszakra és énekkarokba járt, a Malacka és a Tahó nevű alternatív zenekar első énekesnője volt (1999-2000), színi tanodába járt 1995-96-ban), a Bard College főiskolára kapott tanulmányi ösztöndíjat a Kellner Alapítvány jóvoltából 2000-2001-ben New York Államban.
