This week on the Jungle Jim's Podcast, I brought in a few friends to ruin their day by trying Smokin' Ed Currie's new product, The Duel. It's a hot chip challenge for two and the first person to drink loses, so let me give a special shout out to Messy Mutts for sponsoring this segment and letting me make these people drink out of a dog bowl for our collective laughs. Later, we take a trip to the Astra Toy Show to see some toys that will be hitting our shelves later this year and hang out with Crazy Aaron of Crazy Aaron's Thinking Putty, Klutz toys, Squishables, USAopoly, Smiski, Hamee, and more! Looking forward to covering more events like this, imagine how many new products we could discover in the food world!

Robert Murch is the world's foremost collector, historian, and expert on Ouija and Talking Boards and serves as the Chairman of the Board for the Talking Board Historical Society which he founded. His bizarre relationship with Ouija began after watching Kevin Tenney's Witchboard in 1986, a century after the talking board made its debut. Murch purchased his first antique Ouija board in 1992, and became obsessed with unraveling the mystery of its origins. Since then he's devoted his life to researching the history of the Ouija board and its founders, with Murch often traveling the world to track down descendants of all those involved with the introduction of the mystifying oracle. Murch showcases his research and knowledge on his web sites robertmurch.com and williamfuld.com, having collaborated with Hasbro, Winning Moves, USAopoly, TCG Toys, and ToyCo (producers of the Ouija board today), the National Archives, the Library of Congress, and on various films including Ouija, Ouija: Origin of Evil, Ghost Team, Inherent Vice, What Lies Beneath, Sugar & Spice, and Drive-Thru. He'salso consulted on or appeared in numerous TV programs featuring Ouija, including Fox's The Exorcist, Investigation Discovery's True Nightmares, UKTV W's Celebrity Haunted Hotel Live, Destination America's Exorcism: Live!, Travel Channel's Ghost Adventures and Mysteries at the Museum, TNT's Rizzoli & Isles, A&E's Storage Wars and Paranormal State, Showtime's Bullshit!, Smithsonian Channel's My Million Dollar Invention, HGTV's Who's Lived in my House?, CBS Sunday Morning, and 30 Odd Minutes. Numerous periodicals including the Smithsonian Magazine, TIME Magazine, the Wall Street Journal, the Baltimore Sun, and Inventors Digest consulted Murch for popular articles on Ouija boards and featured him and his research on the topic while reddit tapped him to host an IAmA on all things Ouija. Murch is a returning guest on Coast to Coast AM and an accomplished international lecturer, speaking at museums and conferences around the world. He was named guest curator of the Baltimore Museum of Industy's groundbreaking Ouija exhibit Let the Spirit Move You, often collaborates with the Strong – The National Museum of Play, The British Library, and through the Talking Board Historical Society, organized OuijaCon 2015 which celebrated Ouija's 125th Anniversary with the city of Baltiimore. He also tried to workshop a Gourds of Atlantis joke, but responses were--to put it mildly--not encouraging. It wasn't a total loss, as he managed to sneak in some Norse mythology in Telestrations. Peer influence is a strange thing. For years Mark has been yelling at Walker about various ways he really ought to change, but a single board game now has Walker spewing Macross lore like he's a convert. #BoardChitless Episode 55 - Thanos Rising: Avengers Infinity War This week Leki, Tristan and Sam were treated to a review copy of Thanos Rising: Avengers Infinity War by the publishers USAopoly. Thanos Rising: Avengers Infinity War is a co-operative dice allocation game that sees you and your friends take on the mad titan in an attempt to foil his scheme of destroying half of the population of the universe. Did you find Thanos a worthy adversary or a complete pushover? Let us know by commenting or get in touch with the discussion on the BoardChitless Facebook group www.facebook.com/groups/428015890882352/
In this episode, the Dog and Thimble crew are doing the time warp again as they try to return to the past in one of the newest games from USAopoly, Samurai Jack: Back to the Past. But that's not all, we've also got discussions about high school yearbooks, Nickelback covering Alanis Morisette, and a pitch for a new show about NBA players hiding on each other's shoulders in trenchcoats to get into R-rated films. It's weird, it's wild, it's just another day on the Dog and Thimble podcast.
In this episode Chris does Indianapolis, by which we of course means he goes to GenCon and interviews some incredible people and companies about the games they had to show off. We're talking Spinmaster Games, Fantasy Flight Interactive, Games Workshop, Asmodee, Greater Than Games, and USAopoly, they're all here! Whether you couldn't make it to GenCon or if you just want to relive the magic, you're gonna want to check this out!
The Dog and Thimble crew is taking the fight to Thanos directly by...well mostly by comparing him to Grimace from McDonalds. We're talking about "Thanos Rising: Avengers Infinity War" the new cooperative game from USAopoly in this episode, but there's no way that's all. There's slaps to the nipple, Sully Sullenberger's dark secrets, the Lindbergh baby, and a whole lot of behind the scenes stuff that normally would get cut but seemed funny enough to Tom to survive edits! It's a rip-roaring adventure and you owe it to yourself to check it out! Time Stamps: Thanos Rising Discussion - 10:57 Ending of Spoilers after Spoiler Warning - 21:33

The dictionary defines blindness as the state or condition of being unable to see because of injury, disease, or a congenital condition/sightless. It can be temporary or permanent. Some activities for the blind include: card games which present an entertaining activity. Large-print or Braille playing cards are available for the blind or visually impaired. Alternatively, you can use a Braille writer to imprint the Braille letters onto ordinary playing cards. Our guest tonight is a player of blind bingo. USAopoly creates popular board games, one of which is the popular Operation game, another is Clue. The National Library Service for the Blind and Physically handicapped is a free braille and talking book library service. They offer books in braille or audio formats mailed to your door for free or instantly downloadable.
The boys are back, and they've got sponsors! That's right, the nice folks over at USAopoly sent us some Supernatural themed merch, and asked us to talk about it on the show. So Chris and I gave each other a little Supernatural quiz using the cards from their version of Trivial Pursuit. They also have Supernatural themed Clue, Monolpoly, puzzles, and all kinds of other stuff. See the links to check all that out. After the quiz, we turn our attention to episode 13, The Song Remains The Same, in which Sam finally gets to go back and time and exchange some extremely awkward glances with his parents. Then it's on to My Bloody Valentine, episode 14 of season 5, which should have just been called VORE GORE because there's a lot of both. As always, we finish out with a bunch of outtakes. Thanks for listening everyone! If you'd like to support the show directly, check out our Patreon for Extremely Cool Rewards: https://patreon.com/monsteroftheweek

Nikki Folsom - Writer/Investigator https://www.facebook.com/NFolsomWriting/ http://www.thehauntedharlequin.com/ Nikki Folsom is an independent author whose fascination with the paranormal began early. She saw her first apparition at the young age of five. Strange experiences continued throughout her journey into adulthood. With limited resources and a new family, Nikki attempted to ignore the unexplainable activities and force herself into a “normal” reality. Her reality shifted quickly when her daughters began witnessing frightening occurrences of their own. Conflicted, she found herself with one of two choices - continue to pretend this activity wasn't occurring or facing it head on. After twenty seven unfulfilling years in corporate America and an intense curiosity in the paranormal, she made the decision to chase her dreams by diving head first into the world of writing. When she began volunteering at a haunted theater in 2009, she realized the historic location would be the perfect subject for her first publication. For months, Nikki invested time in researching and writing her first book, The Haunted Harlequin. Now that the book has been released, she plans to continue investigating, researching, and writing about other haunted locations from around the globe.Nikki was born in south central Pennsylvania. After a brief stop in Florida and Illinois, she and her family now call San Antonio, Texas home. When she’s not writing, Nikki enjoys reading, traveling, photography, theatre, and spending time with family and friends. She loves hearing ghost stories from her readers through email, social media, and at appearances.
