Was solltest du tun?

The dramatic words of v7-10 were spoken at the Gates of Jerusalem, when David brought the Ark of the Covenant to God's earthly holy Hill in a procession (2Sam 6, 1Chr 15). This was the ascension of the Lord Himself, enthroned on the Ark (Ps 132:5-8) to His chosen resting place in the city of the great King (Ps 48:2, Matt 5:35). Thus, it's a type of Christ's Ascension to His throne in the New Jerusalem, God's heavenly holy Hill, as well as His ascension to sit on David's throne at His 2nd Coming. It's a Messianic Psalm ultimately fulfilled in His Ascension. v3-6 poses & starts to answer a big question: “Who may ASCEND into the Hill of the LORD or STAND in His Holy Place?” (v3). God's requirement to ascend & stand in His Presence is perfection (v4), so it's impossible for us, but God provides salvation by grace (v5-6). In v7-10, He answers the big question, revealing the unique perfect Man, Christ, who ascended to Heaven, the King of Glory, mighty in battle who defeated all foes & accomplished our salvation. It reveals that with Him many will ascend, showing how God provides us salvation by grace (v5). We can't climb to God, but He came down to us, so we could rise with Him (Heb 2:10). He fulfilled the conditions of v4; then ascended to Heaven (v7-10), to make a way for us to rise with Him. Before this no man ascended to Heaven (John 3:13). He alone fulfils God's standards. The scene describes this glorified Man ascending to Heaven & coming to its Gates to request access. v7-10: “Lift up your heads, O you Gates! and be lifted up, you everlasting Doors! and the KING of GLORY shall come in. Who is this KING of GLORY? (God does not seek entrance to Heaven, so this refers to Christ, His anointed human King). The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle (He's the Lord God, who became a man, fought the battle & won the victory for us). Lift up your heads, O you Gates! Lift up, you everlasting doors! and the King of glory shall come in. Who is this KING of GLORY? The LORD of HOSTS (armies), He is the KING of GLORY. Selah.” v3 asked: 'Who can ascend?' Here is the answer. He lived a perfect life, defeated all foes & ascended, but not on His own. He's the Lord of armies. When He enters thru the Gates, His army of saints enter with Him, united to Him by faith. He gained access to Heaven for all under His command. Thus Ps 24 deals with the issue of salvation, asking & answering: “Who may ascend?” (v3). To enter requires moral perfection (v4). When we receive Him, we receive His righteousness, so in Him we ascend into God's Presence & receive His blessing (v5). He's the Head and we, His Body, rise with Him. He rose as our representative, so we ascend in Him. Thus Christ, the Righteous One, is the Way to God (John 14:6,12). Moses' Tabernacle teaches our access to the Holy Place (v3) is only by His Blood. Ps 24:7-10 also reveals His future earthly ascension to David's throne. He humbly offered Himself to Israel as her King with salvation, but the leaders didn't receive Him. He said He'd only return when they repent & receive Him as King (Matt 23:37-39). They'll do this at Armageddon & then He'll return as King of Glory to Zion, save them from their enemies & establish His Kingdom (Zech 14:3-4). When Israel receives Him as King, He'll manifest His glory to, thru & for her. Notice, He didn't force Himself into Heaven, or force His reign on Israel, and He doesn't force Himself on us. We must receive Him as our King, and then He'll manifest His glory in & thru us. He reveals & offers Himself to us to be our Lord & Saviour. When we open the gates of our heart to Him, He comes in with His glory, 1st into our spirit, then into different parts of our soul. So v7-10 can be applied personally. He fulfilled it by ascending into the Heavenly Temple, but we're also God's Temple & He has the right to enter our holy of holies & be enthroned there. The Gospel declares v7 (Rev 3:20). By these words, He seeks access to our Temple, and we must open our gates & let Him in. When we do, He enters our spirit & imparts His glory (manifested nature) to us, as a free gift, making our spirit righteous, holy, full of His life & light, enabling us to ascend into God's Presence in Him. Since He's already ascended, as soon as He enters into us, we automatically ascend in our spirit to the Father thru our union to Him, by His power & righteousness in us. He comes in as the Lord, delivering us from the power of darkness & translating us into His Kingdom. Then His glory (love) works in our souls from within, changing us from glory to glory, so we increasingly fulfil His righteous requirements (v4). As we increase in holiness, the more we can ascend into His Presence to commune with Him (v3). He continues to ask for more access to every part of our soul, with the words of v7, so as we open our doors, inviting Him in to reign, He manifests Himself in us as the King of Glory, the Lord strong & mighty in battle, releasing His power & victory in us.

Psalm 2 (part 1): The Cosmic Warfare (Psalm 2:1-6)

Psalm 2 is a Messianic Psalm of importance, much quoted in the NT, a cosmic Drama describing the present spiritual warfare in the Church Age, especially as it comes to its climax. Along with Ps 1, it's part of the Entrance Hall into the Book of Psalms. Ps 1 reveals the contrast between the righteous & wicked on an individual level, Ps 2 reveals it on a global scale, showing the spiritual conflict between those in God's Kingdom and those in satan's kingdom. Thus they are foundational. In this video, we introduce Ps 2 and see how it fits with our times. It's a Psalm of David (Acts 4:25-26) pointing Messiah's victory & rule over the earth, fulfilling the Davidic Covenant (2Sam7, 1Chr 17). It's parallel to Ps 110, for both speak of Christ as having ascended, having accomplished the work of His 1st Coming & received all authority to rule earth, and both also look forward to His 2nd Coming, when He'll enforce His authority, judge His enemies and establish His Kingdom on earth. Thus they describe the present spiritual war on earth between His 2 Comings. They are prophetic of the spiritual war in the Church Age, with relevance to us, giving a theological perspective for interpreting world events. In Scene 1 the focus is on the unsaved masses of humanity living under darkness & deception, striving with God's Spirit, lovingly yearning for their souls. Speaking thru David, He asks from a heart of love: "Why do they restlessly war against each other, and imagine (meditate) a vain (worthless, empty) thing?” (v1). Why reject God who loves them so much? Why think they can save themselves without God? These souls are the battleground, over which both sides are fighting. In the end each must chose between God & satan. Scene 2 answers the question as we see the forces trying to control them - rebellious angelic & human rulers of earth: “The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together against the LORD and against His ANOINTED (Messiah-King)” (v2). This describes purposeful rebellion against God. This describes the battle-lines of the 2 opposing powers. On one side, the Lord & His Anointed One (Christ & all those in Christ), God's anointed weapon in this war (we are in Ps 2), and on the other side all those fighting for the enemy, both demonic & human. This war is over (1) the inheritance of precious souls, and (2) possession of the nations & their land (v1,8). The enemy's desire & message is revealed in v3. They want to throw off God's laws & authority but can't escape His rule & jurisdiction. In Scene 3, the focus moves up higher to God on His Throne and His Anointed One (2:4). What's His reaction to the enemy? He laughs at all their plots & striving. He's in Heaven, far above, seeing all. He has all authority, knows the final outcome and never worries. Heaven is always full of joy. As we live on the battleground, it's vital for us to keep this vision of God before us - that we are on the victory side and He will defeat all His enemies. We can laugh with God that the enemy is defeated and rejoice in His victory. The next step in this drama is that God gets serious. Righteous anger rises up in Him against His rebellious enemies (v5), and He announces He's already made His decisive move, guaranteeing His victory and the certainty of final judgment on His enemies: “Yet have I installed My King on my holy Hill of Zion” (v6) - fulfilled in His 1st Coming. God sent forth His anointed weapon, Jesus, who destroyed the power of the enemy in His life, death & resurrection. He rose victorious, ascended far above all powers and is seated at God's right hand, signifying His completed work (Ps 110:1). So, God's answer to satan is He has already set His King on His Throne in Heaven, in the holy Hill of Mt Zion. The battle is already won and satan defeated. Jesus paid the price to redeem every soul (His inheritance), and purchased the earth (His possession), so He now possess the earth's title-deed (Rev 5), and has the right to rule all nations. He is already God's appointed King, over both sinners & saints - ruling sinners by external power and His saints internally by His grace. At His 2nd Coming, He'll manifest His authority & victory, returning in power to take possession of all the earth and rule over all nations from His earthly throne of David on the holy hill of Zion. In our spiritual war, we must follow God's example in 2:6, and point to Christ's finished work, declaring He has accomplished our salvation, defeated all evil powers, and has risen victorious and ascended on High, far above all principalities, and is Lord over all. Thus we confess Jesus has defeated the evil one, and is enthroned on high, with all enemies underfoot, so now we also have the victory, for we're in Christ and have risen with Him and sit with Him far above (Eph 2:6), so now we operate from a position of victory (Rom 8:37). We're not trying to get the victory, for He is our victory, and we're enforcing His victory on the earth.

.:: FRAGEN::. Walk In Heavenly Places By Faith (8)  (audio) David Eells – 10/4/23  What Is Perfection?  David Eells  A believer is accounted perfect by faith! He claims his perfection by faith (Heb. 10:14) For by one offering he hath perfected forever them that are sanctified. As he walks in this faith, God is able to manifest perfection in him. If the unbelieving apostate Christian claims that he is always going to be a sinner (contrary to God's word) he will have what he says according to Jesus. (Mar. 11:23) Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou taken up and cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that what he saith cometh to pass; he shall have it. (24) Therefore I say unto you, All things whatsoever ye pray and ask for, believe that ye received them, and ye shall have them. (Mat.8:13) And Jesus said unto the centurion, Go thy way; as thou hast believed, [so] be it done unto thee. (Mat.9:29) ...According to your faith be it done unto you. The same thing can be said of Sanctification or Holiness.   Study and see if these things are not so. There is no more important study if we want to grow up in Christ for "as thou hast believed, so be it done unto thee". We must believe only the Word. The "seed" in the text of parable of the Sower is sometimes "sperma" in Greek. Jesus said that the seed is the Word. Only the seed of the Word can bring forth the fruit in our heart. It is God's sperm and brings forth after His kind, but only in the good ground. Jesus said some would be "a hundredfold". This is not souls won by us for this crop is grown in our heart. (Mat.13:23) And he that was sown upon the good ground, this is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it; who verily beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty. (Mat. 13:19) When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not, [then] cometh the evil [one], and snatcheth away that which hath been sown in his heart. This is he that was sown by the way side. If we believe man rather than God we will miss the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. (Php. 3:12) Not that I have already obtained, or am already made perfect: but I press on, if so be that I may lay hold on that for which also I was laid hold on by Christ Jesus. (13) Brethren, I count not myself yet to have laid hold (I.e. He has not yet manifested perfection.): but one thing `I do', forgetting the things which are behind, and stretching forward to the things which are before, (14) I press on toward the goal unto the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. (Pressing forward to manifest perfection,) (15) Let us therefore, as many as are perfect, be thus minded: and if in anything ye are otherwise minded, this also shall God reveal unto you. This is perfect by faith. Perfection is ascribed to:   Noah: (Gen. 6:8) But Noah found favor in the eyes of Jehovah. (9) These are the generations of Noah. Noah was a righteous man, [and] perfect in his generations: Noah walked with God.   Jacob: (Num. 23:21) He hath not beheld iniquity in Jacob; Neither hath he seen perverseness in Israel: Jehovah his God is with him, And the shout of a king is among them.   David: (1Ki. 11:4) For it came to pass, when Solomon was old, that his wives turned away his heart after other gods; and his heart was not perfect with Jehovah his God, as was the heart of David his father.   Asa: (1Ki. 15:14) But the high places were not taken away: nevertheless the heart of Asa was perfect with Jehovah all his days.  Job: (Job 1:1) There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and that man was perfect and upright, and one that feared God, and turned away from evil.   Zacharias and Elizabeth: (Luk. 1:6) And they were both righteous before God, walking in all the commandments and ordinances of the Lord blameless.   Perfection is implied concerning many others:   Enoch: (Gen. 5:24) and Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him.   Elijah: (2Ki. 2:11) And it came to pass, as they still went on, and talked, that, behold, [there appeared] a chariot of fire, and horses of fire, which parted them both asunder; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven.   Daniel: (Eze. 14:14) though these three men, Noah, Daniel, and Job, were in it, they should deliver but their own souls by their righteousness, saith the Lord Jehovah.   Scriptures relating to perfection:   (Gen. 17:1) And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, Jehovah appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am God Almighty; walk before me, and be thou perfect.   (Deut. 5:32) Ye shall observe to do therefore as Jehovah your God hath commanded you: ye shall not turn aside to the right hand or to the left.   (Deut. 18:13) Thou shalt be perfect with Jehovah thy God.   (Josh. 23:6) Therefore be ye very courageous to keep and to do all that is written in the book of the law of Moses, that ye turn not aside therefrom to the right hand or to the left;   (1Ki. 8:61) Let your heart therefore be perfect with Jehovah our God, to walk in his statutes, and to keep his commandments, as at this day.   (1Chr. 28:9) And thou, Solomon my son, know thou the God of thy father, and serve him with a perfect heart and with a willing mind.   (1Chr. 29:19) and give unto Solomon my son a perfect heart, to keep thy commandments, thy testimonies, and thy statutes, and to do all these things, and to build the palace, for which I have made provision.   (Job 9:20) Though I be righteous, mine own mouth shall condemn me: Though I be perfect, it shall prove me perverse. (21) I am perfect; I regard not myself; I despise my life.   (Psa. 18:32) The God that girdeth me with strength, And maketh my way perfect?  (Psa. 37:31) The law of his God is in his heart; None of his steps shall slide.,  (37) Mark the perfect man, and behold the upright; For there is a [happy] end to the man of peace.   (Psa. 101:2) I will behave myself wisely in a perfect way: Oh when wilt thou come unto me? I will walk within my house with a perfect heart.   (Psa. 106:3) Blessed are they that keep justice, And he that doeth righteousness at all times. (Psa. 119:1) Blessed are they that are perfect in the way, Who walk in the law of Jehovah. (2) Blessed are they that keep his testimonies, That seek him with the whole heart. (3) Yea, they do no unrighteousness; They walk in his ways.   (Psa. 119:96) I have seen an end of all perfection; [But] thy commandment is exceeding broad. (Pro. 2:21) For the upright shall dwell in the land, And the perfect shall remain in it.   (Mat. 5:6) Blessed are they that hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.   (Mat. 5:48) Ye therefore shall be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect. (Mat. 19:21) Jesus said unto him, If thou wouldest be perfect, go, sell that which thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, follow me. (Luk. 6:40) The disciple is not above his teacher: but every one when he is perfected shall be as his teacher. (1 Cor. 2:6) We speak wisdom, however, among them that are fullgrown: yet a wisdom not of this world, nor of the rulers of this world, who are coming to nought;   (2 Co. 7:1) Having therefore these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all defilement of flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God. (2 Co.13:9) For we rejoice, when we are weak, and ye are strong: this we also pray for, even your perfecting. (2 Co. 13:11) Finally, brethren, farewell. Be perfected; be comforted; be of the same mind; live in peace: and the God of love and peace shall be with you.   (Eph. 4:11) And he gave some [to be] apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; (12) for the perfecting of the saints, unto the work of ministering, unto the building up of the body of Christ: (13) till we all attain unto the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a fullgrown man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ;   (Php. 1:10) so that ye may approve the things that are excellent; that ye may be sincere and void of offence unto the day of Christ; (11) being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are through Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God. (Php. 2:15) that ye may become blameless and harmless, children of God without blemish in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom ye are seen as lights in the world.   (Col. 1:21) And you, being in time past alienated and enemies in your mind in your evil works, (22) yet now hath he reconciled in the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and without blemish and unreproveable before him. (Col. 1:28) whom we proclaim, admonishing every man and teaching every man in all wisdom, that we may present every man perfect in Christ;   (Col. 2:9) for in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily, (10) and in him ye are made full, who is the head of all principality and power: (11) in whom ye were also circumcised with a circumcision not made with hands, in the putting off of the body of the flesh, in the circumcision of Christ;   (Col. 3:14) and above all these things [put on] love, which is the bond of perfectness. (Col. 4:12) Epaphras, who is one of you, a servant of Christ Jesus, saluteth you, always striving for you in his prayers, that ye may stand perfect and fully assured in all the will of God. (1Th. 3:10) night and day praying exceedingly that we may see your face, and may perfect that which is lacking in your faith?;   (1 Th. 3:13) to the end he may establish your hearts unblameable in holiness before our God and Father, at the coming of our Lord Jesus with all his saints. (2 Tim. 2:1) Thou therefore, my child, be strengthened in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. (2 Tim. 3:17) That the man of God may be complete, furnished completely unto every good work. (Heb. 6:1) Wherefore leaving the doctrine of the first principles of Christ, let us press on unto perfection; not laying again a foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God,;   (Heb. 10:14) For by one offering he hath perfected forever them that are sanctified. (Heb. 13:20) Now the God of peace, who brought again from the dead the great shepherd of the sheep with the blood of an eternal covenant, [even] our Lord Jesus, (21) make you perfect in every good thing to do his will, working in us that which is well-pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom [be] the glory for ever and ever. Amen. (Jas. 1:4) And let patience have [its] perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, lacking in nothing.   (Jas. 1:25) But he that looketh into the perfect law, the [law] of liberty, and [so] continueth, being not a hearer that forgetteth but a doer that worketh, this man shall be blessed in his doing. (Jas. 3:2) For in many things we all stumble. If any stumbleth not in word, the same is a perfect man, able to bridle the whole body also.   (1 Pet.5:10) And the God of all grace, who called you unto his eternal glory in Christ, after that ye have suffered a little while, shall himself perfect, establish, strengthen you. (1Jn 2:5) but whoso keepeth his word, in him verily hath the love of God been perfected. Hereby we know that we are in him;   (1Jn. 3:6) Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither knoweth him. (7) [My] little children, let no man lead you astray: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous: (8) he that doeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. To this end was the Son of God manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. (9) Whosoever is begotten of God doeth no sin, because his seed abideth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is begotten of God. (10) In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.   (1Jn. 4:12) No man hath beheld God at any time: if we love one another, God abideth in us, and his love is perfected in us; (1Jn. 5:18) We know that whosoever is begotten of God sinneth not; but he that was begotten of God keepeth himself, and the evil one toucheth him not.    Rivers Of Living Water  Samuel Fire - Mid 2019 (David's notes in red)  I sought deliverance of spirits I did not know much about, but knew they were not Christ and they had to go. A brother and sister who follow Christ, led me through deliverance with scripture, and I confessed and repented of any sin related to these spirits. As they prayed and I felt these spirits leaving, in my mind I was praying in the Spirit in Tongues, thinking of The Lord Jesus. I went over the thoughts of my deliberate and intentional complete life giving to Christ in the baptism I had, and scriptures such as “His Blood removes all spots and blemishes, washed whiter than snow”. In a state of relaxing to not hinder The Lord to do as required, I did not want to restrict Him in any way; it was at this moment I started to have a vision.  Throughout this vision I spoke out loud what I saw immediately to the two next to me. I first saw what seemed like a covering or a sheet, completely obscuring my eyesight to only see a clouded view of white light. I couldn't see any dimensions, just this white light with no variance or tone difference. There were not any floors, or structures; completely just blank white area everywhere I looked and perceived. Faintly, very far off, much like the distance of stars at night; a red, similar to a traffic light stop signal color slowly came into view. It came closer and brighter, and eventually was as close to me as though across opposite to me but not that it was within arm's reach. Because I was calling out everything I saw to the fellow brother and sister, I heard them speak out, “Command to confess ‘Is Lord Jesus come in the flesh?'” This I did, as I remember also the scripture regarding this, to test all things unto God.   As soon as I spoke out this, the red light withdrew. It departed very quickly, almost instantly. I then only saw the white area and resumed to think on The Lord, but was confused and thought, ‘What is going on?' Then, a really beautiful blue color appeared, similar to a midday clear sky blue. This was immediate and filled all in front of my peripheral view and came very close to where all I could see was this vibrant blue light. I immediately said, ‘Confess Lord Jesus is come in the flesh.' The most soft and sweet voice replied, “Yes, My Child come.” I felt and saw this light seem to reach out a hand. I was very hesitant and very cautious. The last thing I wanted was to interact to go where any evil things try to trick me. It was though this light knew what I thought.   I remembered the time I came to Christ and was sure this is the Lord Jesus Himself. I was amazed and knew that this was just like the feeling I had when I had a revelation of God and the Lord Jesus. (I received a HUG that was from Christ.) He then ‘smiled' at me, as I only saw a blue light form, and He gently lifted His other ‘arm' and pointed ahead. I looked ahead to where He pointed and the view changed as the white light lifted and I saw hills of beautiful clean green with few bushy trees dotted around. It felt He pointed at a particular tree at the peak of a hill and to go to this spot. So, not knowing I moved there and seemed to sit down and rest under the shade and lean on the trunk. My view changed to look down a hill to a river which had a forest of trees along side of it. This river was so clean that I could see the bottom. I felt so compelled to run down and jump in. (Rev 22:1-2 And he showed me a river of water of life, bright as crystal, (Representing the pure Word) proceeding out of the throne of God (In our heart) and of the Lamb, 2 in the midst of the street thereof. And on this side of the river and on that was the tree of life, (The tongue of the righteous) bearing twelve manner of fruits, yielding its fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.) The pure word flowing from the heart of the pure will bring life wherever it goes.) Upon nearing close to the river's edge there were other beings, whether they were other humans or angels I have no idea. (Others also partaking of the pure Word) They were all playing and splashing and being very happy and playful. All I could see was happiness and hear laughter all around. Smiles and joy were on everyone. Full of energy and excitement I just ran into the river and plunged in completely submerging under that every part of me was under the water. (The Baptism of the death of self) Coming out I then felt very strange like a very young child, around 9 years of age. I had this urge to run over to everyone I saw nearby and play ‘tag' and touch everyone I could out of shear excitement and joy to be among everyone there. (We must become as little children to enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Mat 18:3 and said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye turn, and become as little children, ye shall in no wise enter into the kingdom of heaven.)  Then the vision faded and stopped, and I saw in the physical, but the feeling of it all was echoing and I had difficulty in focusing on the two brethren next to me. I was in such joy as though all this ‘dirtiness' left, and I felt truly loved and accepted.   Please know of all my love to all who read this. Know and believe He loves you more and He can show you this. Praise be to The Lord of Hosts and King of kings forever. Glory, Honor and Might to Him for Our Father for all eternity!    Journey To God  Anonymous 2/24/23 (David's notes in red)  My heart desires to be as close to God as possible, and I want it all the time but there's always things trying to prevent it, and I wondered why. Then I felt this in response:  I saw a very long straight road that went up and down hills and it was sometimes flat.  (I felt that this meant that He is always here with me every moment and He is everywhere all at once, but to obtain the relationship and closeness that I want with Him, permanently and every second it is a journey to get there. The long road is the journey to be as close as possible to our Father and Jesus, although it seems so far away in time, in God's eyes it already IS. The hills are different trials and bumps in our walk, but we always want to stay on the right and only path to our Father, no matter what trial, tribulation or distraction comes our way.)  The sky was blue, and the sun was shining and there were many trees on either side of the road. But there were also houses and animals and so many things on either side. (There are so very many distractions in the physical and spiritual that try to hinder us from seeking His presence every moment and going deeper into Him. In the vision although God's creation is beautiful it can also become the lust of the eyes, the lust of the flesh and pride of life. It can be a distraction because it is all passing away and all that matters right now is going further into Jesus and with our Heavenly Father. The houses, views, animals etc. all represent different distractions and these lusts.)  (1Jn 2:15-17 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and the vainglory of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. 17 And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.)  Further in the distance where the straight road was going was a large body of water like the ocean but just before that there was a large amount of bush that could only be accessed by walking. (I felt that the bush that can only be walked through and not driven through, is walking with Jesus and great tribulation and/or greater dying to self. Not being able to drive is letting our Father guide us and have control of our lives or letting Jesus take control. If we let Him take control when going through the trials, He will guide us to Him, and the right way and we won't get lost. But if we try to guide ourselves or go our own way, we can get lost, hurt or worse, we will die before our time. So many things can go wrong when bushwalking; snakes, tripping, etc. and it's hard to see far because of the bush everywhere. But God is high above and can see all and more than we can see, so we need to pray for His wisdom and knowledge and understanding.)  Above the water, I saw the Father watching but as if He was waiting for me. (I felt the water represents fully dead to self and fully manifesting the Word, rivers of living water, and resurrection life. The Father above all, is seeing, watching and waiting for all His plans and precepts to play out or manifest. I felt once we get through the road, bush, and the water, we will be even closer to Him than we desire or could imagine, every moment permanently. We want to be as close to Him as possible every single moment, but it is a journey for us to get there and for every part of our soul and body to get there. God put the desire in us to want to be with Him and to be even closer to Him, as He wants us to be with Him and as close to Him more than we want it.) (This journey is a faith walk as described above.)  The sun is always shining bright. The Son is always showing His light, to all who walk on the earth, have the chance to choose His way, His life. (The Son's light allows us to see the path to God and how to get there just as the light of the sun shows the road, bushes and path and bush and the Father above. If it was all dark and without the sun, we couldn't see the pathway. Just as without the light of Jesus' Word and the light He made through His sacrifice, we couldn't see the way to the Father.) (Jesus is the Light; He is the Word of God and the path of righteousness which He leads us on. Psa 119:105 NUN. Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, And light unto my path. Psa 43:3 Oh send out thy light and thy truth; let them lead me: Let them bring me unto thy holy hill, And to thy tabernacles.)  (The people that get distracted on the journey, can still look over and see the path and the right way because Jesus already prepared it, and His light shows it. But they choose to still look away from the path and to look at the distraction. People come along and point them to the right path, and they look over the right way for a little, because the Son is still shining, they can still see it, but they continue to not choose the right way. But they can see it as everyone in this earth can see the light, Jesus in the spiritual just like they can see everything when the sun is out in the physical.)    Surrounded In A Shell  Anonymous 3/12/23 (David's notes in red)  I saw myself with this shell all around me, it was black and looked like hard plastic and it reminded me of plastic containers, however rather than being a rectangle shape it was a weird shape to fit my physical form. (This hard shell could be our own creation of a protective barrier we place around ourselves from being hurt by the world, caused by rejection and pain from others, fears, etc. It represents the old nature of man, the flesh. It is hard like the outer shell of a nut, or clams. It is black from a life of sin before being saved by the Lord.)   I saw the Lord grab the shell and rip it off me so quickly and easily and it felt like a Band-Aid quickly being ripped off. Although the shell was really hard and thick and in the natural, it would be hard to cut it, let alone to rip it, but it was so easy for the Lord. (We can't succeed or be set free from evil or our past heritage in our own strength. Only Jesus has the power and strength to remove all the evil from our lives and set us free from our sins by His finished work at the cross! It is His grace and faith in the Gospel that truly saves us!)  All the shell fell to the ground and all that was left of me was my form as a glowing warm light. (Christ in you, the hope of Glory!)  Col 1:27 to whom God was pleased to make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:  (Only faith in the good news has power over sin. Gal 2:20 I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I that live, but Christ liveth in me: and that life which I now live in the flesh I live in faith, the faith which is in the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself up for me.)    Where The Heart Is  Marie Kelton 8/12/22 (David's notes in red)  The Lord gave me an open vision of my spirit man walking in my old home. (This body) All the lights were on. As I got to the hallway everything went dark, the light was only shining where I was standing. The vision changed and all the lights were on again. The Lord was standing at the front door on the inside. (The Lord comes into our hearts to live, and He is the Light of the truth. Rev 3:20 Behold, I stand at the door and knock: if any man hear my voice and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. Joh 1:4-5 In him was life; and the life was the light of men. 5 And the light shineth in the darkness; and the darkness apprehended it not.)  I saw there was arguing in the house. I knew the Lord wanted to heal me from all that went on while I was there. I had asked the Lord why in the vision, was I at my old home; I heard, “Home is where the heart is.” (Jesus and our Father live in our hearts when we get saved and our home is not of this world but the Kingdom of Heaven. Joh 14:23 …If a man love me, he will keep my word: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him. Joh 17:16-17 They are not of the world even as I am not of the world. 17 Sanctify them in the truth: thy word is truth.  The Lord knows all the thoughts of our hearts. He wants us to surrender our old self life and the past to Him and put it all behind us, so He can heal every wound. When we are saved, we become a new creature in Christ, and we belong to Him by the sacrifice of His redeeming blood. With our hearts surrendered to Him through faith, we have a right to grace opens the door to all the healing benefits.)  (Psa 147:3 He healeth the broken in heart, And bindeth up their wounds. Psa 34:18 Jehovah is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart, And saveth such as are of a contrite spirit.  Php 3:13 Brethren, I count not myself yet to have laid hold: but one thing I do, forgetting the things which are behind, and stretching forward to the things which are before. Isa 43:18 Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. For they have passed away in Christ.)    Printer-friendly version     © 2017 UBM | Unleavened Bread Ministries. The law of the land has been twisted and perverted.  On the one hand, BLM and Antifa violent rioters burn down police buildings and loot downtown business, and  they get "caught and released". On the other hand, 1 million conservative patriots showed up on January 6, 2021 to peacefully protest a stolen election, and today, more than 900 are still languishing away in the Washington DC Gulag prison. They are being persecuted, beaten, tortured, deprived of due process, deprived of basic human rights, and many are imprisoned unjustly and unfairly. PRAYER: Yeshua/Jesus, we lift them all up to you and we pray that you will ENCOURAGE them, STRENGTHEN them, give them ENDURANCE to bear up under this persecution, and PROTECT them from further harm/abuse. We will NOT FORGET the SACRIFICE they made to be there on January 6 to peacefully protest the stolen election. We will remember them in our fervent prayers, our support and our giving! We know that freedom is NOT FREE...and we pray that you will be with each and every political prisoner to encourage, comfort, bless and provide for them!  We pray for their SOON RELEASE from prison and for their FREEDOM to be restored!  In Yeshua's name, amen and amen! Prayer refers to the multifaceted communication of believers with the LORD God. In addition to such words as "prayer" and "praying," this activity is described as calling upon God, (Psalms 17:6 "I call on You, my God, for You will answer me; turn Your ear to me and hear my prayer"). Calling upon the name of the LORD, (Gen. 4:26 "And to Seth, to him also there was born a son; and he called his name Enosh. Then began men to call upon the name of Jehovah.") Crying unto the LORD, (Ps. 3:4 "I call out to the LORD, and He answers me from His holy mountain"). Intercession may be defined as holy, believing, persevering prayer whereby someone pleads with God on behalf of another or others who desperately need God's intervention. Daniel's prayer in Daniel the 9th chapter is an intercessory prayer, as he prays earnestly for the restoration of Jerusalem and for the entire nation. The Bible records the intercession of Christ and the Holy Spirit and numerous godly men and women under the old and new covenants. Jesus interceded during His earthly ministry, praying for the multitudes whom He came to seek and save. He wept in brokenness over the city of Jerusalem. He prayed for His disciples, both individually and as a group. He even prayed for His enemies while He was hanging on the cross. A present aspect of Christ's ministry is to intercede on our behalf before the throne of God. For this reason, John calls Jesus our "advocate" with the Father, one who pleads our case. Christ's intercession is essential to our salvation; without His grace, mercy, and help mediated to us through His intercession, we would fall away from God and once again become enslaved to sin. The Holy Spirit is also involved in intercession. Paul states, "We know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered". The Holy Spirit through the human spirit of the believer intercedes "according to the will of God". Thus, Christ intercedes for the believer in heaven; the Spirit intercedes within the believer on earth. The Bible often refers to the intercessory prayers of believers and records numerous examples of remarkable, powerful prayers. In the O.T., the leaders of God's people, such as kings (1Chr. 21:17), prophets (1 Ki. 18:41—45; Dan. 9), and priests (Ezra 9:5—15), were to lead the way in intercessory prayer for the nation. The N.T. presents even more examples of intercessory prayers. The Gospels record how parents and others interceded with Jesus on behalf of loved ones. Parents pleaded with Jesus to heal their sick children (Mark 5:22—43); a group of mothers asked Jesus to bless their children (Mark 10:13); a man pleaded for his servant to be healed (Mat. 8:6—13); and the mother of James and John interceded with Jesus on their behalf (Mat. 20:20—21). Every Saturday afternoon at the 2 PM hour intercessory prayer is held via conference line to one and all throughout every region, led by various Sisters, Deacons, Pastors, and Evangelists, men and women of God. Prayers are lifted heavenward on behalf of those that are unable to attend due to various circumstances, i.e., illness, family, loss, etc., etc., etc. The intercessors intercede to Jesus, as He intercedes to the Father on behalf of one and all no matter what state one may be found in, we pray. You are welcome to join. You are welcome to share with all listeners the prayers prayed by the prayer warriors. Remember, the day and the hour, no matter where you are to lift up your voice in prayer and join the many voices united and willing to stand in the gap. And if you can't say a word, then just wave your hand! The Father knows the hearts and thoughts of all. Are you willing to be an intercessor, an "Advocate" with the LORD Jesus, one who pleads the case of another? Blessings, Elder Barbara FLB

In parts 1-2 we learned what doubt means, we studied those who doubted in the Bible. This part is going to discuss how to overcome doubt. Asaph for those who don't know who he is: Asaph was a prominent Levite singer and seer in David's court and was the son of Berachiah of the tribe of Levi. (1Chr 6:39, 1Chr 15:17, 1Chr 15:19; 1Chr 16:4-7; 2Chr 29:30). He is the ancestor of the Sons of Asaph, one of the great family guilds of temple musicians. In Psalm 77 Asaph has doubts about the Faithfulness of Abba Yah. We will be learning some definitions from this verse that is very important for our understanding of doubt https://www.thelionstares.com/post/attitudes-of-yah-encountering-doubt-a-cynthia-heald-study-part-3 --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/lions-tares/support

Death by Suicide    Why is "committed suicide" wrong or hurtful?   Biblical examples from internet:   Abimelech, mortally wounded by a millstone, ordered his armor-bearer to dispatch him to avoid the suggestion he had been slain by the woman who had thrown the stone (Judg 9:52-54); the prophet Ahithophel hanged himself after betraying David (2Sam 17:23); Zimri burned down his house around himself after military defeat (1Kgs 16:18); and the more familiar stories of Saul and his armor-bearer (1Sam 1:1-6; 1Chr 10:1-6), Samson, (Judg 16:28), and, of course, Jesus’ disciple Judas—although it is only in Matthew’s Gospel where he kills himself (Matt 27:3-5; compare with Acts 1:18). There is nothing in any of these stories to suggest that the biblical narrators disapprove of the characters’ suicides.   Fascinating line from the Supreme Court--which although not for tomorrow's conversation, but which I have seen walked very carefully very recently--provides:   "The prohibition on assisted suicide is not arbitrary under the due process standard," but concurring Justice Souter "also support[s] the distinction between assistance to suicide, which is banned, and practices such as termination of artificial life support and death-hastening pain medication, which are permitted." Vacco v. Quill, 521 U.S. 793, 809–10 (1997).

So, humbly do the disciples of the Lord go forth, though with the greatest of power.  They call for the repentance of all proud souls, possessed of the throne of this unholy world.  The Twelve “expelled many demons, anointed the sick with oil, and worked many cures,” thus bringing the kingdom of God to this world; and we are called to follow them, in the same poverty.  None of this can we do if our hearts are set upon the riches of this world.  Empty must we be of the desire for the food of earthly security – into the Lord's hands we must utterly place our lives.  Only then will we be rich in Him “from eternity to eternity.”  Splendor awaits us all, brothers and sisters, in the cross we carry upon this dusty earth. ******* O LORD, if we follow in the way of your Son, we shall share in His power. YHWH, yours are grandeur and power, majesty, splendor, and glory.  You are exalted over all and have dominion over all.  Yet your sons go out with nothing, nothing but the Cross.  In this alone do they find your authority and power; in Christ alone are all men saved. It is not upon the throne of this world your Son sits, with gold rings and a royal crown.  No, His crown is of thorns and He is stripped of even His clothes.  And just so naked must His disciples be, bereft of all attachments to this place, trusting entirely in your grace.  O LORD, let us go forth strengthened by faith! How shall we find our blessing, dear God, the blessing of your presence in our hearts and in our souls?  How shall we become your very temples in this world?  Write your NAME upon our souls, that no evil spirit will have power over us, that we might do your will in all things and so find your eternal blessing.

(1Mac.4:36-37,52-59;   1Chr.29:10-13;   Lk.19:45-48) “Let us go up to purify the sanctuary and rededicate it.” In both our reading and gospel today, we hear of the cleansing of the temple, and we see its purpose and fulfillment. “My house is meant for a house of prayer,” declares Jesus.  A  house of prayer, and a house for teaching: “He was teaching in the temple area from day to day.”  It is a house of music, for by the Israelites after the Maccabean revolution it “was reconsecrated with songs, harps, lutes, and cymbals.”  It is a place for humility: “All the people prostrated themselves…” and worship: “…and adored and praised Heaven.”  Praise is most fitting for the house of the Lord, for His holy temple, for it is this which unites us with our God.  When we sing of His greatness – “Yours, O Lord, are grandeur and power, majesty, splendor, and glory.  For all in heaven and on earth is yours” – we are joined to Him who is “exalted as head over all.”  For in proclaiming the truth of His “power and might” over all, we ourselves are cleansed and become as temples of the Lord, holy and radiant as gold. “The entire populace was listening to Him and hanging on His words.”  To whom did the people listen but the Temple itself?  What was begun by the Maccabee brothers is accomplished in Jesus.  It had long been the hope and desire of the Israelites, and indeed the longing of all mankind, to have a holy place to worship God, to offer sacrifice to Him who is the greatest love of all hearts.  And now He stands before them, now He speaks to them.  And He effects the renewal of the temple not so much by His “ejecting the traders” who had made it “a den of thieves,” as by His presence in their midst.  For the temple exists not so much in the walls adorned “with gold crowns and shields” as in the flesh of Christ; and it is this Temple we become when we follow Him, when we hear and heed the words which issue forth like a cleansing stream from these sacred lips and heart, and when we eat His body and drink His blood. The destruction of this Temple will come.  Even now the leaders of the people are “looking for a way to destroy Him.”  But in three days the Temple will be rebuilt and dedicated forever in perfect purity for all who desire to enter there. ******* O LORD, purify our hearts that we might rejoice in your Temple, our prayer ever rising up to you. YHWH, may your Temple be cleansed that we might offer true worship to you here in your Church.  Let all souls be purified by your Son and by His sacrifice, that your children might sing your praise forever.  From eternity to eternity you are exalted, you are the Most High – O let us freely bless your holy NAME! O LORD, may we know the great blessing of falling prostrate before you who are God.  May we find the grace of adoring you alone.  May we ever be in prayer in your holy House, and so become holy ourselves in your eternal presence. Let your sanctuary be purified; let it be dedicated to you, dear God.  Let all that is sinful be cast from us by your Son that we might indeed be blessed to be as He is; listening always to His teaching and obeying His every word, let us become a House of prayer for you.

(GNT has used ‘Jacob’ instead in this chapter, as it is more understandable for modern readers.) PROVERBS 14a:This chapter has one of my all-time favorite proverbs: 4 NLT Without oxen a stable stays clean, but you need a strong ox for a large harvest.//GNT Without any oxen to pull the plow your barn will be empty,But with them it will be full of grain.] Re-reading EPHESIANS 3:There are two instances of ‘joined with Christ’ in this chapter. This brings the total to 13 so far in this letter. GNT Translation note:1Chr. 2:47 (A man named Jahdai [whose relationship was not specified] had six sons: Regem, Jotham, Geshan, Pelet, Ephah, and Shaaph.) NLT Translation notes:Pro. 14:5 An honest witness does not lie;a false witness breathes [out] lies.====Eph. 3:5 God did not reveal it to previous generations, but now by his Spirit he has revealed [that secret plan//it] to his holy apostles and prophets.12 [PET: Because we who fully believe in Christ are joined as one with Him, we feel confident/bold/free and no longer need to be afraid to come to God in prayer.//Because of Christ and our faith in him,d we can now come boldly and confidently into God’s presence.] 20-21 PET: May God— who is able to do far more than we can ask or think, always be glorified by the unity of His whole church. Let us glorify Him because of His amazing power which works in each of our lives. And because we are one with Christ Jesus, let us glorify God from age to age, forever! Amen!///NLT:20 Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think. 21 Glory to him in the church and in Christ Jesus through all generations forever and ever! Amen.

Pastor Hornbuckle message today entitled Prayer for a New Year encourages us to continue seek God daily in 2015. As a church body we began the new year by participating in 3 week Daniel’s Fast. We are praying God reveals the things in our lives that are not of him,and by doing so it will allows us to grow closer to him. 1 Chronicles 4:9-10   9 Jabez was honorable above his brothers; but his mother named him Jabez [sorrow maker], saying, Because I bore him in pain. 10 Jabez cried to the God of Israel, saying, Oh, that You would bless me and enlarge my border, and that Your hand might be with me, and You would keep me from evil so it might not hurt me!  We have followed the star to the new born Christ, and behold the one in whom God is made manifest to the world. We stand by the river Jordan and watch the skies open as the dove descends upon our Lord. We drink the wine at the wedding at Cana and marvel at the one who produced it. We celebrate the revelation of the Lord. This is the day when we remember the revelation of God to humankind, but how can we celebrate the revelation the one who:Clouds and darkness are round about him: righteousness and judgment are the habitation of his throne (PS 97:2).This is the God of whom Solomon says:It is the glory of God to conceal a thing: but the honor of kings is to search out a matter (Pr 25:2).While I do not believe that anyone can every describe or define God in any great detail, I believe that God can be found by those who seek him out. All religion is an attempt for us to put these experiences in words. God is hidden from us by the minutia of our lives. Anyone can find God by relaxing, and coming to the present moment fully aware. This is the glory of mindfulness.Creation Spirituality talks about the four paths to encountering God. As Matthew Fox answers the question, "Where can God be found?" In the Via Positiva. In awe, wonder, and mystery of nature and all beings, each of whom is a ‘word of God,' a ‘mirror of God that glistens and glitters,' as Hildegard of Bingen put it. This is Path One (Creation Spirituality 18)This is the path most people find to God. Sitting in the awe of nature, we feel our interconnectedness with all things. This interbeing is the purest connection we have with the Divine. We can find God in music, art, or anything that instills within us a deep sense of Awe.Where else can God be found?“In the Via Negativa. In darkness and nothingness, in the silence and emptying, in the letting go and letting be, and in the pain and suffering that constitute an equally real part of our spiritual journey. This is Path Two (Creation Spirituality 18).”This is the path of the Buddha- the path of silence meditation. Most of us want to reject this aspect of life, but it is an equal part of existence, and the most universal. The Buddha himself reminds us of the only things we can ever know for sure, that we exist and that we are interconnected with all things. There is not an atom in our body that did not come from another creature, plant, or long lost star. It is in this lack of separate self that we find the Ground of All Being.Where else can God be found?“In the Via Creativa. In our generativity we co-create with God; in our imaginative output, we trust our images enough to birth them and ride them into existence. This is Path Three (Creation Spirituality 18).”This is the path of Rumi- the path of art and co-creation. The Via Creativa is the very beating heart of the sacrament of Art as Meditation. In trusting our own creativity, we come closer to God. We learn how to be bearers of Christ into the world like those who came before us."My little children, of whom I travail in birth again until Christ be formed in you (Gal 4:19)," as the apostle said, we find God through trusting our generatively.Where else can God be found?“In the Via Transformativa. In the relief of suffering, in the combating of injustice, in the struggle for homeostasis, for balance in society and history, and in the celebration that happens when persons struggling for justice and trying to live in mutuality come together to praise and give thanks for the gift of being and being together. This is Path Four (Creation Spirituality 18).”This is the path of Gandhi and Dr King, the path of satyagraha. In community and common cause, we find God. As David prayed, “Yours, O LORD is the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty: for all that is in the heaven and in the earth is yours; yours is the kingdom, O LORD, and you are exalted as head above all (1Chr 29:11).” Wherever we see greatness, we see God. Wherever we see glory, power, victory, or majesty, we see God. When ever we see love, charity, grace, mercy or any of the Divine attributes, we see God.These are the paths to God we have learned, the paths that we walk every day. They are as natural as breathing. There is nothing more simple than our experiences of God and learning to trust them. Get full access to Creation's Paths at www.creationspaths.com/subscribe
