Patrick Bet-David, Tom Ellsworth, Vincent Oshana, Brandon Aceto, and Adam Sosnick break down Ukraine's “Russian Pearl Harbor” drone strike, Bongino's cryptic tease of an explosive Epstein video, and Elon Musk's shocking move to distance himself from DOGE.------
Ukraine's Operation Spider's Web, a covert drone strike on June 1, 2025, targeted five Russian airbases, damaging or destroying over 40 warplanes, including strategic bombers. The 18-month-planned mission showcased Ukraine's deep-strike capabilities, raising questions about its backing and Moscow's defense.
Today's Headlines: Twelve people were severely injured in Boulder, Colorado, after Mohamed Sabry Soliman, an Egyptian national, attacked a weekly pro-hostage-release walk with a homemade flamethrower; the FBI charged him with a federal hate crime after discovering he had planned the attack for a year. In Ukraine, officials say they destroyed 40 Russian nuclear-capable bombers in a drone strike, a move some Russian commentators likened to Pearl Harbor. Trade tensions with China are escalating after mutual accusations of violating last month's handshake agreement, with China vowing retaliation. In Poland, conservative Karol Nawrocki narrowly won the presidency in a record-turnout election. Meanwhile, new reporting reveals the Trump administration is using Peter Thiel's Palantir to centralize massive amounts of citizen data across federal agencies. Despite this, newly uncovered data shows the U.S. knowingly deported Venezuelans with no criminal records to El Salvador's CECOT prison under dubious terrorism claims—while quietly admitting more white South African refugees. Lastly, law firms that cooperated with Trump are now losing corporate clients like Oracle and McDonald's, who question whether these firms can be trusted to defend their interests. A stunning drone strike deep inside Russian territory—2,500 miles from the front—has reshaped the geopolitical chessboard. On June 1, 2025, Ukraine launched its boldest and most far-reaching attack yet, destroying over 40 Russian aircraft and dealing a blow worth billions. But with peace talks simultaneously unfolding in Istanbul and U.S. senators visiting Kyiv just hours prior, the question arises: was this escalation part of a larger plan? This episode explores the timing, motives, and potential fallout of what some are calling Russia's Pearl Harbor—and what it means for the future of the war.--Go to http://GetLiverHelp.com/Turley to try their Liver Health Formula and get a FREE 1-month's supply of Blood Sugar Formula!*The content presented by sponsors may contain affiliate links. Let's talk about Russia's Pearl Harbor and your questions....
A man has been charged with multiple felonies after allegedly using a makeshift flamethrower and incendiary devices to attack a crowd of people raising awareness for Israeli hostages in Gaza, injuring eight individuals. Additionally, there have been discussions about the ingenious way Ukraine executed its remarkable "Pearl Harbor" attack against Russia. In youth sports, a former MLB player advocates for change, emphasizing the importance of allowing kids to enjoy the game without excessive involvement from adults, reminding parents that the primary goal is for children to have fun and learn, not to achieve perfection.

Send us a textContent Warning: Filmic violence is and will often be celebrated throughout Season 15 – Squib Season. Second in the series and keeping to their unpatented temporal pincer movement, the enlisted four of TGTPTU storm the beachheads of Season 15 this week to liberate Squib Season's earliest covered picture, the black-and-white WWII movie HELL TO ETERNITY (1960). (Not to be confused with To Hell from Eternity, which does not exist; To Hell and Back, which does and preceded in Technicolor this week's talkie by five years; or From Hell to Wong Foo, Thanks for Everything! Julie Newmar, which is actually the combined titles of two vastly different films released, respectively, 41 years and 35 years after this week's feature.) In Hell to Eternity, the 6'0”-tall, New Orleans-born Caucasian actor Jeffrey Hunter (yes, yes, nerds, we know he's Captain Chistopher Pike, listen back to our The Searchers 4x4 episode but also listen to this week's for an irony behind Hunter's being replaced on Star Trek TOS by actor Sean Kenney in Season 1's clips episode two-parter “The Menagerie”), then age 34, plays war hero and protagonist Guy Gabaldon in this biopic based on the real life events of the 5'4”-foot tall Latino Los Angelean of the same name when he was 18. As in the movie, Gabaldon was raised by adoptive Japanese parents, learning their first language (and presumably, as in the movie, their stories about fish and love), and enlisted after Pearl Harbor as a translator. It's with his language skills that Gabaldon was able to, as depicted at the end of the film, convince over 800 Japanese soldiers and civilians to surrender, although further research would be required by the author of these show notes to know whether real-life Gabaldon adopted/stole a Japanese child to be his son as implied at the end of the film (IMDB Trivia does claim Gabaldon named one of his sons after Hunter as he was enamored by his portrayal of him, implying Gabaldon had more than one son) or if the eighteen-year-old short king had swell times in swinging Hawaii as shown in the film's contentious, extended party sequence containing not just one but two apartment burlesque routines. The film is lensed by Burnett Guffey who will go on to shoot (on film) our next earliest entry, i.e., BONNIE AND CLYDE (1967) for which he'd earn his second Academy Award. His first Oscar win was for another flick whose title lends itself to easy confusion with this week's, namely FROM HERE TO ETERNITY (1953). Also involved, Lieutenant (later Captain) Sulu (or the actor and activist who originally played the helmsman/fencing expert in Star Trek TOS). Also, hundreds of Japanese Imperial Army veterans and active-duty U.S. Marines who reenacted events from the Battle of Saipan on the adjacent island of Okinawa for the cameras commanded by Guffrey. And some squibs. This episode, hear Ryan explain both what squibs are and, later, how a man got his start as a boy. Jack, subsequent to the latter, loses his mind. Tom spoils the surprise appearance by a famous and long-deceased sports announcer. And Ken, as impossible as it might seem, might actually change his opinion on mic, specifically about the seemingly endless Hawaii party scene. Darrell Castle discusses the war between India and Pakistan which began over an apparent terrorist attack in the disputed territory of Kashmir a few weeks ago. He alleges that the real winner in the war so far has been China. Transcription / Notes: WHO WON THE INDIA-PAKISTAN WAR Hello, this is Darrell Castle with today's Castle Report. This is Friday the 30th day of May in the year of our Lord 2025. I will be talking about the war between India and Pakistan which began over an apparent terrorist attack in the disputed territory of Kashmir a few weeks ago. Yes, rather than hide or delay the lead I will tell you right away that there is no real winer as yet but in the initial battle the winner was China and in this report I will attempt to defend that view. First, to set up my argument it will be necessary to review a little history. It is often said that generals fight the last war and in many respects I believe that to be an accurate assessment. For example, coming out of WWl the navies of the world viewed the battleship as the future of naval warfare because it had proven so decisive in the naval battles of that war. The air arm of the navy didn't begin until the 1920's and that was just a primitive experiment. In the 1930's seagoing nations started to develop aircraft and aircraft carriers and to experiment with them but the battleship was still expected to dominate the next naval war. Even the Japanese put their effort into battleships including the Yamato, the world's largest. When the war started with the attack on Pearl Harbor and then the battle of the Coral Sea and Midway it was soon obvious that aircraft carriers were the future, not battleships. The U.S. had three carriers in the Pacific after Pearl Harbor and the Yorktown was lost at Midway June 4, 1942, but within 2 years they had 17. When the war ended and the U.S. had the world's money so it could buy anything it continued to put its effort into the ships that won the war in the Pacific. When nuclear power entered the navy the cost of an aircraft carrier continued to skyrocket until today it exceeds $13 billion. Only one nation can afford to build and equip 13 of those ships and as a result the U.S. Navy has dominated the seas since WWll. Other nations such as China, Russia, North Korea, and Iran had to find some cheaper way to keep up and they did. While the U.S. was building $13 billion aircraft carriers to project power around the world those nations devoted their resources to building relatively cheap missiles to counter them. My theory then is that the aircraft carrier, like the battleship before it, has had its day and the future of warfare will be robotic, ai generated, and probably in space. With that background we look at what is happening in one of the most dangerous corners of the world today and that is Kashmir where the borders of Pakistan, India and China converge. The immediate cause of the outbreak of war was a terrorist attack on April 22 that killed 26 Indians. People get really upset when they are attacked by terrorists and they demand that their nation's government do something. The Indians did do something and that resulted in one of the most interesting air battles since WWll. During the battle of the Coral Sea in 1942 the U.S. and Japanese navies fought a battle in which each side had ships sunk but the opposing ships didn't even see each other. The battle was entirely between carrier-based aircraft from about 200 miles apart. The Indians and Pakistanis engaged in an air battle using the latest fighter aircraft in their inventories and the interesting thing is that the entire battle was fought in what pilots call BVR or beyond visual range combat. On December 8, 1941, as the Japanese were bombing Pearl Harbor, they were simultaneously attacking other Allied positions around Asia. One of the biggest attacks was on Manila and the Philippines and the Filipino and American forces on the island of Luzon. Filipino and American forces ended up surrendering, which began one of the most brutal and horrifying episodes of the entire war. As promised, this week Seth and Jon Parshall take a dive into the world of WWII archival footage from the US National Archives. The team focuses their attention on a few reels of footage from the early part of the Pacific War, namely, captured Japanese footage from Hong Kong, and the Pearl Harbor attack. The guys go through the shots step by step and Jon pours his knowledge of Kido Butai into the talk while interpreting some of the most famous shots taken by Japanese photographers during the attack. The guys go through the Japanese aerial footage frame by frame and pick out the exact moments of torpedo strikes on battleship row--really getting into the weeds. Following that, Sthe guys take a look at the infamous footage of USS Arizona (BB-39) exploding, again, going frame by frame to examine her utter destruction. Finally, Seth takes the wheel and takes you guys through some grainy, but arguably the most historic archival reel of the entire attack-pinpointing scenes showing the destruction of USS Shaw, USS Nevada's sortie out of the harbor, Nevada firing her AAA batteries at Japanese aircraft and an almost step by step set of shots showing USS California's sinking. For reference, the reels we discuss are: 242-299r2, 242mid290, 428npc21950, and 428npc1730 This is the first of many attempts at something new, so bear with us as we navigate a new format. We will be doing this sort of thing every few weeks in addition to our normal programming. #wwii #wwiihistory #ww2 #usnavy #usa #usarmy #medalofhonor #enterprise #aircraft #aircraftcarrier #cv6 #midway #wwii #wwiihistory #ww2 #worldwar2 #usnavy #usnavyseals #usmc #usmarines #saipan #usa #usarmy #aircraft #aircraftcarrier #battleship #battleships #ussenterprise #aircraftcarriers #museum #essex #halsey #taskforce38 #wwii #wwiihistory #ww2 #usnavy #usa #usarmy #medalofhonor #enterprise #aircraft #aircraftcarrier #cv6 #midway #wwii #wwiihistory #ww2 #worldwar2 #usnavy #usnavyseals #usmc #usmarines #saipan #usa #usarmy #aircraft #aircraftcarrier #battleship #battleships #ussenterprise #aircraftcarriers #museum #hollywood #movie #movies #books #mastersoftheair #8thairforce #mightyeighth #100thbombgroup #bloodyhundredth #b17 #boeing #airforce wwii #wwiihistory #ww2 #usnavy #usa #usarmy #medalofhonor #enterprise #aircraft #aircraftcarrier #cv6 #midway #wwii #wwiihistory #ww2 #worldwar2 #usnavy #usnavyseals #usmc #usmarines #saipan #usa #usarmy #aircraft #aircraftcarrier #battleship #battleships #ussenterprise #aircraftcarriers #museum #hollywood #movie #movies #books #oldbreed #1stMarineDivision #thepacific #Peleliu #army #marines #marinecorps #worldwar2 #worldwar #worldwarii #leytegulf #battleofleytegulf #rodserling #twilightzone #liberation #blacksheep #power #prisoner #prisonerofwar #typhoon #hurricane #weather #iwojima#bullhalsey #ace #p47 #p38 #fighter #fighterpilot #b29 #strategicstudying #tokyo #boeing #incendiary #usa #franklin #okinawa #yamato #kamikaze #Q&A #questions #questionsandanswers #history #jaws #atomicbomb #nuclear #nationalarchives #nara

In 1944, the USS Intrepid embarked on its first combat voyage. The mission was abruptly jeopardized when a Japanese torpedo plane struck the vessel, jamming its rudder at a precarious 45-degree angle. Forced to sail in circles amidst treacherous waters, the crew faced an uncertain future.Despite the daunting circumstances, the ship's Captain initially managed to steer the Intrepid using its engines, but the perilous seas soon overwhelmed his efforts. The crew's perseverance was put to the ultimate test until an inventive crewman devised a makeshift solution-a 3000-square foot sail rigged on the forecastle. Against all odds, this ingenious sail provided the means to steer the ship safely back to Pearl Harbor. This book is a testament to the indomitable spirit of the USS Intrepid's crew, detailing their remarkable struggle for survival with grit and determination. The story is an inspiring account of how teamwork and innovation can triumph even in the direst situations."I am deeply honored to bring the extraordinary story of the USS Intrepid to life in THE SAILING OF THE INTREPID," said author Montel Williams. "This book is a tribute to the incredible bravery and ingenuity of the Intrepid's crew, who refused to surrender in the face of seemingly insurmountable odds. The legendary comedic duo Fibber McGee & Molly with “I Can Get It For You Wholesale.” This show was broadcast on December 9, 1941, two days after the attack on Pearl Harbor. This show includes news updates on World War II.

Melvin Hurwirz was 16 years old when the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941. Within just a few years, all four boys in his family were at war, each in a different branch of the service. After enlisting in the U.S. Army Air Corps, Hurwitz was assigned as a gunner and as a radio man for a B-17 bomber crew after an aptitude test showed his proficiency at Morse Code. His crew then had a bit of an adventure flying the bomber over to Great Britain. It was Spring 1945 by the time he saw his first bombing mission. In this edition of Veterans Chronicles, Hurwitz explains why he chose the Army Air Corps, what he was thinking as he went up on that first mission, and the amount of enemy resistance he faced in those final weeks of the war.Hurwitz also details his four bombing missions, particularly two aimed at German personnel still in France and how his was among the first planes ever to drop napalm in Europe. Hurwitz also tells us about bringing desperately-needed humanitarian aid to Belgium and the Netherlands at the end of the war and bringing French POW's back from Germany.
If Hawai'i is on your bucket list, you need to listen to this episode with Hawaii travel expert Marcie Cheung. Marcie is a family travel blogger and mom of two who's been to Hawaii more than 40 times, staying everywhere from luxury resorts to budget-friendly condos. She helps parents plan unforgettable Hawaii vacations with kids by sharing expert tips, honest reviews, and stress-free itineraries. You can learn more on her website hawaiitravelwithkids.com or follow Marcie on Facebook and Instagram. You can also listen to her podcast, Hawaii Travel Made Easy. Episode Highlights: The most popular tourist islands are: Oahu, Maui, Kauai, and Hawaii (The Big Island) Oahu is best if you can only visit one island and are looking for a mix of experiences and attractions from Pearl Harbor to the Dole Plantation and also city life, nightlife and beaches on the North Shore or Waikiki Maui is also popular for luxury resorts, a quieter vacation, the famous Road to Hana, and also great restaurants and activities Kauai is even more laid back The Big Island is good for those that are looking to be adventurous and take road trips, plus this is where you will find Volcanoes National Park A first time visitor coming from the U.S. should look at least one week and spend it on Oahu because it has such a range of experiences. If you have two weeks, then you can island hop from Oahu to Maui or Kauai. Be active on Oahu and then relax on Maui or Kauai. Keep in mind that when you island hop you still need to fly and deal with all of the airport security, rental car lines, etc. that eats up a lot of a day in travel. The Big Island is really large and you need at least five to seven days. It takes several hours to drive from the beach area to the Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. Expect to spend about $12,000 or more for a family vacation to Hawaii. Airfare from the West Coast is about $500 and closer to $900 from the East Coast. You can use a Southwest Companion Pass or Alaska Companion Pass if you have them. Accommodations keep getting more and more expensive. Midrange hotels are $350-500 and luxury resorts can easily go over $1000 per night. You need to beware about vacation rentals because they are being closely regulated in Honolulu and often they will be cancelled last minute as there are a lot of illegal vacation rentals. If you go with a vacation rental, go with something reputable. Food is also expensive because so much needs to be shipped in on the islands. Plan on spending about $100 a day on food if you are able to mix up going to restaurants and buying groceries or eating at food trucks. Rental car prices are high and you need a rental car for at least a few days on each island. Keep in mind that hotel parking can be $40-60 per night. Activities are also quite pricey, at $300-500 per person. Luaus are at least $200-350 per person. Narrow down your wish list to 2-3 activities and have beach or pool days or exploring on your own for the rest of the time. Minimum stays during winter break can be 7-14 days and this is the most expensive time to visit. When planning road trips or hikes, be sure to map them out to see how far they are and how long it will take to get there. Don't overpack your itinerary. Episode: 1364 Our radar warning of the Pearl Harbor attack. Today, devastation follows when we don't trust a new technology.
Chuck gets the real story behind one of the wildest chapters in Australian history, the 1942 bombing of Darwin, where more bombs were dropped than on Pearl Harbor, and the government kept it all under wraps. Mark Monaghan spills some jaw-dropping details: how the Tiwi Islanders warned of the attacks before radar even existed, how Australia's first POW was captured, and why this moment mattered way more than people realize. But the past isn't the only focus, we jump into the present too, talking critical minerals, energy, and why Darwin's becoming a serious player in global strategy. From military moves to mining ops, this one connects the dots between history and the high-stakes future of the Northern Territory.Digital Wildcatters brings the energy community together through events, cutting-edge content, and powerful tools.
