Shakespeare is a giant hole in my knowledge base. But I do know the occult or paranormal played center stage in many of his works. But that's about where it ends for me. So, a call to experts was needed. And like the fires of Rohan, they were answered. Enter frequent guest (and friend) Rev. Dr. David Parry and former thespian and current professional wrestler, Aron Haddad Stephens. Not only do they cover Shalespeare, but they cover pretty much everything. From esoteric schools of thought to philosophy, it's tackled from the lenses of the Elizabethan period and the modern periods. There are some history lessons along the way. Some working definitions. And certain philosophies oft identified with certain names or groups. Any useful substance I added is aided by luck. And of course I added a Dr. D David Schultz joke in. David is not your typical clergymen. And Aron is far more than a grappler. We might just have given birth to an intellectual tag team for future shows.
The home of great construction stories. We go behind the headlines to meet the people who envision, create and manage the built world. Brought to you by the Chartered Institute of Building.Got a topic you'd like us to cover? Email the podcast editor Rod Sweet rod@atompublishing.co.ukIn this episode:New-homes confidence crisis [01:20]In December, CIOB published results from a survey that showed an overwhelmingly negative public perception of new-build houses. It asked 2,000 UK adults what they thought, and 55% of them believed that old houses are better than new ones.32% described new-build housing as ‘poor-quality'.There is a new set of standards called the New Homes Quality Code that is supposed to hold builders accountable, but signing up to it is voluntary.CIOB recommends that government reviews this to consider making it mandatory.CM deputy editor Cristina Lago spoke to the report's author, the CIOB's David Parry, to find out what this all means.Get the CIOB report: https://www.ciob.org/industry/research/newbuilds Lego-style building system [09:51]A 96-unit apartment complex built with Lego-style, snap-together blocks has opened its doors to residents in Palm Springs, Florida. It was put up by a small crew of unskilled workers armed only with mallets and glue guns. The blocks are made from recycled plastic and glass fibre. Glued together, they form a monolithic structure that is impervious to water, mould, and termites, and can withstand 250mph winds. The material is lighter and stronger than concrete, and making the blocks produces a tiny fraction of the emissions concrete does. The company behind the system, Renco USA, spent 10 years in testing, research and development. In October they raised $18m in their first funding round to build a US factory with a view to making the system available across the country.Renco USA executive Patrick Murphy tells this month's 21CC Podcast how they did it, and why they're not like Katerra. Can project managers be coaches? [19:21]Dave Stitt FCIOB used to be hard as nails.A civil engineer, he came into the industry as a teenager and rose through the ranks at big UK contractors Taylor Woodrow, Birse, and Wates, thinking he had to be the toughest, meanest, and bossiest person on site. Then he reformatted his style after he found himself leading culture-change programmes at national construction firms. Now, he coaches construction leadership teams on team-building and people skills, and is convinced that construction managers should stop giving orders on site.Instead, they should coach. But how do you do that, and won't it lead to chaos? Hear Dave make his case.

Dr. Rev. David Parry holds three degrees in Theology and is a Reverend in the Gnostic tradition. He's also a poet, actor, author, speaker, and the founder of the Nephilim Anthropology Conference. I booked him for what I thought would be a simple show: what are the "ranks" between between types of angels, demons and giants. As I learned, that's not simple at all. So many religions and denominations have their own interpretations. Thus, lessons were required about authorship, how history and beliefs got recorded, language, etc. But during this talk, we do learn many of the generally accepted differences between Archangels, Cherubs, Serafs, Metatron, Nephilim, the 7 Prince of Hell, Satan, Demons, and more. Yes...more. In person and virtual tickets are available for about 50 & 25 Pounds respectively at https://NACon.Eventbrite.co.uk.

Gnostic priest David Parry materialized at the Virtual Alexandria to discuss some of our favorite cosmic villains (or friends) in the Bible and ancient traditions. Are they extraterrestrials or spiritual wickedness in high places? Can a modern mystic viewpoint shed light on these entities, or can we just lean on the perennial wisdom of such giants as Swedenborg, Jung, and others? David also shared his work as a contemporary Valentinian reverend navigating the extremes of orthodox religion and runaway materialism.Support this podcast at — https://redcircle.com/aeon-byte-gnostic-radio/donationsAdvertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brandsPrivacy & Opt-Out: https://redcircle.com/privacy

Enter our guide to these worlds, our author, David Parry. David is a man of extraordinary erudition and artistic sensitivity. In this book, he offers to serve not so much as a guide but as a companion through the deep, dizzying, mystifying, heavenly-earthly reality that is Mount Athos, as it is found on a Greek Island and as it is found in the British artistic tradition.” - Fr. Daniele Irandoost is a published writer, editor, private tutor and literary panellist, who recently completed his PGCE in History, while preparing to undertake a second postgraduate degree at University College London. As a specialist in intelligence studies, military history and international security, Daniele's academic skills have earned him various gongs - such as the prestigious Ken Robertson Prize in Intelligence Studies (awarded to a finalist with the highest academic mark). Certainly, Daniele has attracted the public eye for his interest in matters of regional security inside Central Asia. Indeed, as he himself has hinted in other radio interviews, being half-Iranian and half-Romanian has gifted him with a unique insight into espionage, so-called fake news, and conspiracy theories, generally. Stated so, Daniele is the author of three academic journal articles for the highly respected E-International Relations, as well as being the writer of a literary essay, along with a feature article: the latter being for the new online magazine EurasianPerspective. Each, in their own way, paving the way for him to become a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts; not to mention a panellist on one of Rev. David Parry’s acclaimed Meet the Author talks at the Yunus Emre Institute, London, wherein Daniele appeared on Turkish TV (ATV) in June 2018. HNH is a globalist left wing pressure group based in the United Kingdom founded in 2004 by Nick Lowles, a former editor of the "anti-fascist" Searchlight magazine. It is a registered charity and receives its funding through donations and from the Department for Communities and Local Government. Through 2017 they assigned and heavily financed a number of journalists to infiltrate various right wing activist groups and spread the content over the Internet and use for documentaries, seeking to "expose" the Alt right, as well as attacking other far left wing groups. One of these journalists named Patrik Hermansson decided to report Rev. Dr. David Parry's "Extremists Club" as a supporter of far right extremism, partly due to Paul and David both being invited by former guests on THA Talks to some right wing seminars and public dinners to meet other potential guests. He also included an infiltration and filming of a separate publicly promoted open pagan ritual that Paul often attends which they dramatically described as an "Esoteric Nazi Ritual". In attendance for this ritual was a diverse and select group including Right Wing activist Stead Steadman as well as well know authors and many of which attended after it was advertised through the on line public "meetup" website. As regularly promoted on THA Talks. The Extremist club is small monthly event founded by Rev. Dr. David Parry that involves poetry, drama, as well as outlandish talks on science, politics, religion and culture. At times offensive material that provokes views from all sides of the political and religious land scape is aired, but this is something the club has been proud of preserving. It was set it up originally as a free speech hub following Theresa Mays announcement of trying to outlaw "extremism" a very vague and subjective thing to ban. Hence the name "The Extremists Club". After a break to find a new location the club is up and running and looking forward to 2018!, only it seems "Hope Not Hate" does not like these events of free speech taking place and even after being invited to come and speak them selves, they are trying to pressure the club into closing by intimidating it with labial claims and assassinating the character of the club, Rev. Dr. David Parry, and associates. In this edition David and Paul discuss HNH, their attacks, and the future of the Extremists club.
In Part One of a two-part episode Dead Creepy Podcast Hosts Claire Barrand and Linzi Smith cover Sage Paracon 2017 and interview special guests including John Zaffis "The Godfather of the Paranormal" About John John Zaffis has over forty-three years of experience studying and investigating the paranormal. He has had the opportunity to work for and with his aunt and uncle, Ed and Lorraine Warren. This sent John beyond looking for ghosts and hauntings and into studying demonology under the Warrens. This led into John's involvement with cases of possession and exorcism, which gave him the opportunity to work with prominent exorcists in this field, including Roman Catholic priests, monks, Buddhists, rabbis and ministers. John has assisted and worked with well-known exorcists Bishop Robert McKenna, Father Malachi Martin, and the Reverend Jun.His research has taken him throughout the United States, Canada, England and Scotland covering several thousands of cases. Through hands-on investigating with other investigators and clergy, he has obtained a great deal of knowledge and understanding of the paranormal and is considered one of the foremost authorities in the field today.John has a lot of first-hand paranormal experience, including experience with ghosts, poltergeists, and demonic and diabolical entities. He has also worked extensively with both spiritualists and psychics concerning how their knowledge is used for channeling, reincarnation (past-life regression), calling of the spirits for information, and how they use meditation to acquire the information which they are seeking. Because of his personal experiences with hauntings, ESP, near-death experiences, and other paranormal activities, he is firm in his conviction that such phenomena exist.John has been featured in the SyFy television series Haunted Collector., Discovery Channel's documentaries A Haunting in Connecticut and Little Lost Souls. John has also appeared on Unsolved Mysteries, Piers Morgan, and many other print and news media events. John also appears in Graveyards and In A Dark Place, both books written by Ed and Lorraine Warren. John's first book, Shadows of the Dark, co-written with Brian McIntyre, was released in September, 2004. John has also appeared on Ghost Hunters and Ghost Adventures. John is working on multiple follow-up books currently, and is lecturing all over the United States at colleges and universities.Over the years, John has collected many hundreds of possessed items either given to or sent to him by people wishing to be rid of them. The John Zaffis Paranormal Museum opened in 2004 in order to display these items, and continues to be open today. John wrote and starred in the documentary film Museum of the Paranormal, released in 2010, which gives the viewer a tour of his museum and the stories behind some of the objects. John was the starring role in the television series Haunted Collector which ran on SyFy from 2011 through 2013. "Haunted Collector" Since 2002, Brian has officially been a wanderer on a path of adventure and discovery. Having been inspired at an early age with shows like In Search Of… as well as the movie, Ghostbusters, Brian’s paranormal journey found direction with the cable-access-to-web show, SCARED!Evolving from the Skeptic to the Scientist under the SCARED! banner, those early dalliances in urban exploration led him into exploring the many possibilities that existing and emerging technologies offered for paranormal investigation. It was this focus that resulted in his inclusion on the Zaffis family-centered show, Haunted Collector, which ran for three seasons. On the show, Brian was the Tech Specialist, responsible for the implementation and use of all the gadgets and gear. Best known for mixing old and new techniques of investigating, he often found himself doing the physical tasks, such as crawling under houses and up into attics. He also served as second in command of the team and helped to manage the deployment of the crew itself.Ultimately, his goal as an investigator is to measure, quantify and get empirical evidence to support the claims of paranormal activity reported while maintaining his skeptical edge. “It’s not the phenomena I am skeptical about, it’s those who report it”.Recently, Brian has been touring the world appearing at paranormal events as well as lecturing at colleges. His successful, “The Method” event tour has helped attendees find focus and become better investigators. In his spare time, Brian co-created a paranormal card game called “The Three Pillars” which simulates an investigation and includes many figures in the field on the cards themselves. His work has been praised in several publications, including TAPS Paramagazine and Haunted Times Magazine. In 2016, he served as the Lead Global Investigator on the inaugural National Ghost Hunting Day’s “World’s Largest Ghost Hunt” where he led an experiment entitled, “The Bridge” to try and link the world in a web of active, collective consciousness. His latest focus has been on spreading “#Paralosophy”, a term he coined as a mash-up of paranormal and philosophy. “There are a lot of people out there doing the Work now and I’d like them to think more and do less. Really consider the whys before addressing the hows”. http://brianjcano.blogspot.co.uk/ Claire Hinks Psychic Medium Claire says, "When I was 14yrs old I began hearing voices. But the voices had no faces just lots of bodies in my mind, a bit like being in a busy pub and hearing the drone of people chatting. Not long after this started, sadly my beloved Grandad passed away. I had shared my gift with him and he had been extremely supportive and very open-minded. I will always love him for that. For the next 20 something years, I did very little about “using” my gift. I guess you could say I was busy growing up, getting a job, married and having a family! But then one day about 4years ago I went on a paranormal investigation and the light came back on. The rest is history. From that day on I have daily contact with the spirit world, seeing, hearing, feeling and sometimes even smelling them. I began doing one to one readings which grew into group events and now the groups are slowly getting bigger. Spirit have supported me all the way giving me opportunities which I now recognise as progress in my development. Along the way I often feel my Grandad around me and at times he has been a strong guiding hand from the spirit world. It helped me to realise that everything happens for a reason because as much as I miss Grandad in the physical world, he has been incredibly helpful to me from the spirit side! I feel very lucky to be able to connect people with their loved ones in spirit and to give them the comfort and validation they so often need. I am completely embracing my journey now and the more I connect with people the better the communication becomes. So far so good……….." https://www.facebook.com/Clarehinksmedium/ https://clarehinksmedium.wordpress.com/ Russel Edwards Russell Edwards is a 48-year-old businessman, originally from Birkenhead, who has, after years of dedicated research, produced the definitive evidence to prove the identity of the world’s most famous murderer: Jack the Ripper. Currently, he is the Chairman of Eurasian Creative Guild: a project attempting to create networks between actors, writers, dancers, singers, filmmakers, and poets from across Central Asia and Europe. To contextualize, following his move to London in the early ‘80s, he graduated in religious studies at King’s College, London, thereafter obtaining a Master’s degree in Pastoral Theology at Heythrop College, London. Relatedly, he is presently completing a D. Philos on Henrik Ibsen at the University of Bergen in Norway, before being installed as a Professor of Drama at Osh State University next October (2017). He has a near obsession with Sacred Theatre on both a practical and theoretical level. Certainly, he has written dramas as well as performed on stage and screen – not to mention having worked as a director and producer when required – as a means to evolve his passion, whilst simultaneously breaking untried boards. MJ DICKSON FOUNDER OF SAGE PARANORMAL MJ Dickson is the Founder and Lead Investigator of Sage Paranormal as well as the Founder of Sage Paracon UK, based in West Midlands, UK. Her experiences with the paranormal began at a young age and she soon realized that she had inherited her mothers’ psychic abilities. But paired with her military father’s penchant for logic, MJ found that this unusual combination of psychic and cynic lent itself perfectly to becoming a successful paranormal investigator. Those skills soon came in handy when she suspected she was living in a haunted house and wanted answers. Since forming Sage Paranormal in 2011, MJ and her team have investigated numerous locations throughout the UK. Due to their professionalism, and the level of evidence they were able to document, Sage Paranormal is recognized as one of the UK’s most well-known and well-respected paranormal teams. Don’t let her diminutive stature fool you, Dickson is known to have “balls of steel”, running towards all manner of the unexplained. In fact, MJ lectures at paranormal conventions worldwide, teaching other the risks involved and the basics of investigating. A popular Paracon lecturer, MJ is constantly searching for new and innovative ways of documenting physical evidence of the paranormal. Her book, which is a ‘How to’ guide, introducing the reader to the world of paranormal investigation, as well as basic psychic development, includes a short biography and is due for release in 2017.
