The Brewers offense continues to struggle badly through another 3-3 week, but the rotation suddenly has more options than spots. Host JR Radcliffe is joined by special guest Dominic Cotroneo of WTMJ 620 to talk about the playing-through-injury status of William Contreras (and his long-term future in Milwaukee), the roster decisions involving Tobias Myers and Vinny Capra and the curiosity of Chad Patrick. Brandon Woodrufff should be back next week, and Aaron Civale is on the mend. And what about Jacob Misiorowski? Did the Quinn Priester trade get even worse this week? In Three Up Three Down (28:30), they discuss obstruction plays, the struggling bottom-third of the lineup and doubling up the fastest man in baseball. Remembrew When (44:00) looks back at another Mother's Day moment, and Dominic's Take of the Week (47:45) examines something the Brewers did Sunday that they hadn't done all year. Then, JR sits down with Brewers reliever Grant Anderson (52:30) on converting from catcher and the reluctant decision to start throwing from a funky angle. They also chat about his twin brother and their passion for hunting. Music intro from bensound.com. Musical cues (in order): "I Got What You Want" (Extended Version) by Gloria Tells, "Arriving at Dusk" by American Legion and "Screaming Fool" by Andreas Dahlback, all from www.epidemicsound.com.
Balky is joined by The Score's Alex Thomas to discuss the future of the Milwaukee Bucks. Brewer Fanatic and Brewer Fanatic Podcast co-host Jack Stern also hangs out to talk about the Milwaukee Brewers including Grant Anderson, Craig Yoho, Sal Frelick and more.
Easter Sunday wasn't quite as good for the Brewers as THAT Easter Sunday, but with an amazing debut from Logan Henderson and a franchise-record haul of stolen bases, it was certainly interesting, and it capped a strong week. Brewers reporter Curt Hogg and host JR Radcliffe discussed the team's sudden abundance of riches in the starting rotation, including the pending return of Tobias Myers and another rehab outing from Brandon Woodruff. Ah, but what about the bullpen? Another blip from Joel Payamps has the guys wondering how to get Craig Yoho on this roster. Caleb Durbin had a pretty exciting debut in his own right, but has the Brewers' gap at third base been solved? Grant Anderson and Rhys Hoskins have big weeks, as well. In Three Up Three Down (40:15), they check in on Willy Adames and marvel at a couple intriguing Triple-A players as well as yet another one-hitter. In Remembrew When (55:30), JR recalls another memorable big-league debut from a pitcher currently on the roster. And Curt Blanche (1:00:45) brings some baggage to the conversation. Then, JR chats with newcomer left-handed starter Jose Quintana (1:06:30), who already has two wins under his belt with the Brewers. They talk about his well-publicized excellence in his career against Milwaukee, his nontraditional path to the big leagues, that Pete Alonso homer last year, Game 163 and the offseason that brought him to the Brewers. Music intro from bensound.com. Musical cues (in order): "I Got What You Want" (Extended Version) by Gloria Tells, "Arriving at Dusk" by American Legion and "Screaming Fool" by Andreas Dahlback, all from www.epidemicsound.com.

Host Darcie McDonald is joined by former NRL winger Josh Mansour to bring you your daily dose of NRL conversation. The team give you context and depth beyond the headlines in this footy conversation that's equal parts thoughtful, insightful and fun.
Melbourne remain on top of the NRL ladder after another good win over the Roosters in Round 20 of the NRL. The return of Ryan Papenhuyzen has been a major plus after having had the past few seasons blighted by injuries. However he told Andrew Moore and the team that he's still not out of the woods injury wise and still hasn't pinpointed an issue with his foot! He also praised the way Harry Grant has made an inclusive atmosphere at the club which has really helped players when they come into the senior team and broke some injury news on his team-mate Grant Anderson.
In this week's podcast - the only podcast to cover exclusively club rugby in Scotland - Stuart and Dale discuss last weekend's results and look ahead to Saturday's matches. There's also the usual heated debate about the play-off system and Dale talks dirty with the subject of poo on the pitch! Don't ask!! As always, we'd like to thank the following clubs for supporting the podcast - Hawick, Marr, Selkirk, Jedforest, Kelso, Glasgow Hawks, Ayr, Melrose, Gala, Peebles, Stirling County, Berwick and Stewart's-Melville. You can hear from these clubs in every episode of the podcast throughout the season. In the Premiership, all games are now crucial as we head towards the Christmas break. Leaders Hawick welcome fourth placed Edinburgh Accies while second-placed Marr travel to bogie team Selkirk. The Bill McLaren Shield is up for grabs and Jedforest have a chance to win something this season as they go in search of their first win at Stoneyhill taking on Musselburgh. Heriot's Blues v Currie is an intriguing Edinburgh derby while Glasgow Hawks host Kelso in the bottom half of the division. In National 1 Ayr are the runaway leaders with 11 wins out of 11 - their head coach Grant Anderson is preparing for the visit of Melrose to Millbrae while Stuart popeed down to the Greenyards to have a chat with their head coach Iain Chisholm, who takes a pop at Dale (everyone else does so why not him as well?). National 2 will see Falkirk and Peebles look to leap over Lasswade this weekend to reclaim top position with Lasswade having a week off along with Stirling County who both have a game in hand on all other clubs. National 3 is having a week off as it's a standby date while in National 4 Garnock hope to preserve their unbeaten record against North Berwick. On Rugby Radio this weekend at www.rugbyradio.co.uk you can hear three and a half hours of live rugby direct from Millbrae with full commentary of the National 1 fixture between unbeaten table-toppers Ayr and Melrose, plus live score updates from across the country and interviews with members of Ayr Rugby Club, finding out what the future lives for the club. In this week's podcast - the only podcast to cover exclusively club rugby in Scotland - Stuart and Dale discuss last weekend's results and look ahead to Saturday's matches as we approach the business end of the league with only a few games to be played before the Christmas break. We'd like to thank the following clubs for supporting the podcast - Hawick, Marr, Selkirk, Jedforest, Kelso, Glasgow Hawks, Ayr, Melrose, Gala, Peebles, Stirling County, Berwick and Stewart's-Melville. You can hear from these clubs in every episode of the podcast throughout the season. In the Premiership, it's derby weekend with two Edinburgh derbies, two Border clashes and a West Coast tussle. At the bottom end of the table it's a crucial game at Riverside Park between Jedforest and Selkirk. 17 points separate the two clubs and a win for Jedforest is essential if they're to keep their Premiership ambitions alive. We hear from coaches of both clubs, David Grieve (Jed) and Sesh Henderson (Selkirk). In National 1 Ayr are the runaway leaders with 10 wins out of 10 - their head coiach Grant Anderson gives us an update on his thoughts as his team closes in on promotion.National 2 is far more competitive - Five teams are still in contention in the top half of the table with Lasswade currently on top, but have played one more game than the other four. Newton Stewart are on a roll winning their last seven matches. It's another important weekend for all the clubs in that league.National 3 sees Preston Lodge on top but Orkney (in second spot) are still unbeaten. Howe of Fife and Allan Glen's aren't far behind these two in another wide open contest for that one promotion spot, while in National 4 it's Garnock with a clean sweep of nine straight bonus point victories who are getting all the headlines. Could they do what Marr have done in coming from the regional leagues right up to the very top table? We discuss that.On Rugby Radio this weekend at www.rugbyradio.co.uk you can hear three and a half hours of live rugby direct from Riverside Park with full commentary of the relegation battle between Jedforest and Selkirk in the Premiership, plus live score updates from across the country and interviews from the Hawick 150th Anniversary dinner on Friday night with Stuart McFarlane.Don't forget to check out highlights on Sunday of Jedforest v Selkirk and Kelso v Hawick on Borders Rugby TV at www.bordersrugby.net and YouTube. You can get in touch with the show at podcast@bordersrugby.net Support the showRemember to join Stuart Cameron and the team at Rugby Radio for our Scottish Club Rugby Podcast every Thursday.
