It is not easy to talk about racism, misogynism, and patriarchy these days, even though they severely mess up the present state of our society. Karen, who goes by @kclmft on TikTok, bravely discusses these topics on the internet, mainly to put down the horrible concept of Trumpism and Project 2025. She joins Corinna Bellizzi to share how she is being hunted by the former president's MAGA crew as she uses her online platform to call out his racist and misogynistic behavior. They two also talk about the dangers of individualism, the importance of collective human action, and the right way to keep your own racism in check. About Guest:Karen, whose handle on TikTok is @kclmft, is a women's right activist who has a background as a licensed marriage and family therapist with over a decade of experience. She became involved in politics when Donald Trump came on the scene and she recognized his danger. Karen started making content online when she began receiving emails from his campaign, revealing the dog-whistles, the race-bating, and the all out calls to violence for all eyes to see. Because she's been so critical of Trump, speaking out against his misogynistic behavior, his stoking of racism and division, and his connection to Project 2025, she's under fire from Trump's MAGA crew. For that reason, we won't be revealing her full name, nor linking to her business on our podcast nor on our blog page. Genetic modified organisms or GMOs have transformed the entire food industry and global health on a massive scale. And with the recent advent of CRISPR technologies and more complex genetic engineering methods, the new landscape of GMO 2.0 has arrived. Although they are a testament to our scientific progress, they could be doing more harm than good to our bodies. Corinna Bellizzi sits down with global thought leader and author Jeffrey Smith, who presents the dangers of GMOs and genetic engineering. He explains how agrochemical/agricultural biotechnology corporation Monsanto continues to find legal loopholes to integrate toxic chemicals into their food products. Jeffrey also talks about the difference between hybridized and GMOs, why microbes are the hardest species to genetically engineer, and how eating organic food delivers way more benefits than you could imagine. About Jeffrey Smith:As a global thought leader on the health dangers of genetically modified organisms (GMOs) for over 27 years, Jeffrey Smith has authored 2 bestsellers, directed 5 documentaries, delivered 2,000 lectures and interviews in 45 countries, trained 1,500 speakers, and organized more than 10,000 grassroots advocates. Jeffrey has counseled world leaders on six continents, and his meticulous research presented at medical conferences inspired thousands to prescribe non-GMO and organic diets. The success of the GMO education movement he pioneered is measured in part by the 48% of world consumers who acknowledge GMOs are unhealthy. Taking on GMO 2.0 Jeffrey and IRT are now sounding the alarm about new genetic engineering techniques, such as gene editing. Unregulated, GMO 2.0 can cause health and environmental disasters. The most urgent danger comes from genetically engineered microbes. Jeffrey is stewarding a global effort to prevent their release. A serial entrepreneur, Feras was raised in Kazakhstan and began his career in hospitality, earning his bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management/Administration from IHTTI School of Hotel Management in Switzerland. After working at several world-renowned restaurants and hotels, Feras' entrepreneurial spirit took over and he launched a successful catering business in Los Angeles. In 2016, Feras' career path would then take another turn after observing and helping a woman struggling to push a fruit cart up a steep hill. Feras realized then that there had to be a better solution and began developing the prototype for the first Ferla cargo e-bike. Ferla has gone on to become a leading provider of premium electric cargo bikes and, to date, has developed more than 20 different cargo e-bikes/carts for business and personal use.
