Welcome to a special episode of Transforming Trauma featuring NARM creator Dr. Laurence Heller and NARM Senior Trainer Brad Kammer. This webinar provides a glimpse into the NARM Inner Circle online program and invites clinicians, therapists, and helping professionals to explore the foundation of health and trust upon which NARM is built. Brad and Larry begin this conversation with a reflective exercise, then zoom out to reveal a link between suboptimal emotional and physical health and the survival patterns acquired in response to developmental trauma. Throughout their conversation, Larry and Brad also identify ways in which this model of health and trust informs the four pillars of NARM––clarifying the therapeutic contract, asking exploratory questions, reinforcing agency, reflecting psychobiological shifts––and impacts client-practitioner interactions. About Dr. Laurence Heller: Dr. Laurence Heller is the creator of the NeuroAffective Relational Model (NARM), Senior Faculty member, International Trainer, and co-author of Healing Developmental Trauma and The Practical Guide for Healing Developmental Trauma. About Brad Kammer: Brad Kammer, LMFT, LPCC, is a somatic psychotherapist, consultant, professor, NARM Senior Trainer, and NARM Training Director. He has worked in the field of trauma for over 20 years, specializing in Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and Complex Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (C-PTSD). This is a generalised statement but what I've found along my travels in my life and in my career is that most women have this superpower and it's that they have the superpower of not owning their superpower! If you're a woman reading this right now? Ask yourself how many times you've dismissed or downplayed your own superpowers by saying something like "Isn't that normal? Everyone can do what I do." Funnily and sadly, the answer to that question is NO. Not everyone can do what you do in the way you do it. The only person that can do that is YOU. On this episode, I chat with Jennifer Myers on: Own your superpowers - it's important! Ask for feedback - it can help you to identify your superpowers and grow Why self-responsibility, self-leadership and communication improve the we (team) and the me (individual) Get clear on what success means to you rather than what you've been sold it means Plus so much more! Florian Fritz joins Tiffany in this week's episode to share his expertise on how he helps others build financial freedom, and breaks down the differences between financial institutions in Austria and the United States. About Our Guest Florian is the founder of the Money Hero Academy, where he is teaching small business owners how build true wealth and financial freedom by working on money mindset, money management and money making skills. As a financial advisor, Florian realized during the last financial crisis in 2008 that the financial industry was only looking out for their own best interest and not that of their clients. That's why he learned from some of the world's best financial coaches like Robert Kiyosaki and his Rich Dad advisors and many others how wealth creation really works. He tested many of the learnings working with a real estate company, increasing their sales by 86% per year on average for 9 years and helping hundreds of people to improve their investment returns. Facilitated by host Emily, Dr. Laurence Heller and Dr. Stephen Porges engage in a stimulating conversation about safety cues, life-threat reactions, shame, and connection as our “biological imperative.” Dr. Porges, a distinguished neuroscientist and originator of the Polyvagal Theory, emphasizes the importance of physiological states in expressing trauma-related behavioral and health problems. The fascinating exploration takes the listener on a journey of understanding trauma: from learning how the NeuroAffective Relational Model (NARM) and the Polyvagal Theory have profoundly impacted the knowledge of trauma and how the two frameworks relate. Dr. Heller: “What we learn in adapting to connection failures very early on in life is what we have a tendency to carry forward, not just on a cognitive level but on an emotional level and a physiological level.” About Dr. Larry Heller and Dr. Stephen Porges: Dr. Laurence Heller is the creator of the NeuroAffective Relational Model (NARM), Senior Faculty member, International Trainer, and author. Stephen W. Porges, Ph.D., is Distinguished University Scientist at Indiana University, where he is the founding director of the Traumatic Stress Research Consortium. He is Professor of Psychiatry at the University of North Carolina and Professor Emeritus at the University of Illinois at Chicago and the University of Maryland. In 1994, Dr. Porges proposed the Polyvagal Theory. The construct links the evolution of the mammalian autonomic nervous system to social behavior and emphasizes the importance of physiological state in expressing behavioral problems and psychiatric disorders. He has published several books and more than 400 peer-reviewed papers. Today science is proving that there is a strong connection between the mind and the body. Meaning, a lot of the unexplained diseases that manifest in our bodies, are often a result of chronic mental states and patterns that we have been embodying. Therefore, holistic healing is not only about healing the symptoms (western medicine approach), but also about getting to the root cause of the issue, which tends to be healing unprocessed emotions from the past. Our guest of the week is Dr. David Abou Khalid, a holistic healer who explores and applies a combination of alternative methods of treatment to heal the root cause of our mental and physical issues. Examples of some of those methods include:breathwork, brain rewiring techniques, hypnotherapy, sound therapy, emotional management and more.Dr. David is also an innovator of the Transformation Holistic Breathing Technique, a holistic healer, hypnotherapist and an international trainer who speaks on life changing topics such as the importance of our mind and body connection. He's been in the field and changing the lives of people for 20+ years. We also talk about:- The definition of “Energy”- Why everything around is composed of energy- What are the functions of our bodies chakra systems (or energy centers)- Real definition of Law of Attraction- Mind-Body connection - Ways to overcome stresses of our daily lifeDr. David's instagram: drdavid_abou_khalilDr. David's website: https://drdavidaboukhalil.com/instagram: oneday.thepodcastTwitter: itsomaralmajaliYoutube: The One Day Podcast, with Omar Almajali*Note: Episode is carried in Arabic and English.#oneday #dayone #podcast #motivationeveryday #newpodcastepisode#youtubepodcasts #podcastguest #personalgrowth #businessmindset #entrepreneurship#onedaythepodcast #Business #entrepreneur #inspiring #podcastshow #Anghami #spotify #youtube #businessadventure #inspiration #selfdevelopment #dubai #HolisticHealing #HealingMindBodySpirit #MentalHealth #PersonalHealth

Patrick O'Banion joins us to speak about Girolamo Zanchi and his book, The Spiritual Marriage between Christ and His Church and Every One of the Faithful. O'Banion translated and introduced a new edition of the book published by Reformation Heritage Books. Zanchi was an Italian Reformer, with close ties to Peter Martyr Vermigli. Developing from Girolama Zanchi's exegetical labors through Ephesians, Spiritual Marriage draws readers into the rich theological of doctrine of union with Christ. Following the lead of the apostle Paul, Zanchi demonstrates how our earthly marriages fulfill their truest purpose by drawing our attention toward the spiritual marriage between Christ and His Church. By paying attention to the Genesis account of Adam's marriage to Eve, to pertinent Old Testament laws, and to the teachings of Jesus and His apostles, we begin to understand something of that higher and heavenly union. This new translation helps us better understand the great mystery of Christ and His bride. Patrick O'Banion is International Trainer at Training Leaders International.

He gives four situations of stuck that he has encountered: from not being energised anymore, having a work schedule that is too busy, neglecting personal development and our mindset. We tell ourselves that we’re not enough. Ben delves into the neuroscientific concept of ‘enoughness’ and how to engage your prefrontal cortex for ‘cortical connectivity’. He gives practical advice on how to be ‘Situation Smart’ and gives simple tools and questions that you can use in heightened moments of emotion, to be as smart as you can be, in moments that are important to you. I had the pleasure of interviewing Laura. She shares her story about when she struggled with anxiety and how she had a breakthrough. She also shares her thoughts on anxiety when it comes to money. She gave us so much valuable information. Take a listen for more details. Here is Laura's bio: Laura grew up in poverty, both physically and emotionally. By the time she was in her early 20’s, she was married, then divorced and still suffering physically, deprived emotionally, and still poor. She never even graduated college because she could never figure out what to do. Laura just wanted to make money. At 25, Laura started a small business from home and by 28, reached incredible success, earning 6 figures with no degree or experience. She became a speaker, international trainer and eventually was hired as a sales and marketing executive on the corporate level. From launching products with manufacturers for a multi-million dollar global company to being an International Trainer and Keynote Speaker at seminars all over the U.S., Canada, Australia and the U.K., Laura has been teaching marketing, business development and personal transformation to hundreds of thousands of individuals and business owners for almost 20 years. Laura got married again, started a family, won tons of awards, and made a million dollars, but still wasn’t truly fulfilled personally and professionally. At 40 years old, she was sick again. She had success, money, love, and a family, but something was missing. Laura needed to grow spiritually and personally to reach the next level in life. She changed careers, followed a creative path and took massive and deliberate action combined with a mindset shift to change her life. She learned how to create true wealth, which is an extraordinary life with fulfillment on all levels: mind, body, spirit, love and money. At 44, life has never been better and she is helping other women unlock their infinite potential. As a creative strategist and marketing agency owner with her husband, Laura absolutely lives for marketing, creating and inspiring big ideas. She is known as an uplifter who inspires and stimulates positive thinking and personal achievement in anyone who crosses her path. Guess what, Healthpreneurs? We’ve got another super-cool guest on our show! Surprised? You shouldn’t be, because this is the Healthpreneur Podcast! Today, I’m chatting with Joe Arko, owner of a business consulting service called PT Profits and a certification program called ATS (Advanced Training System). What’s more, Joe was awarded the 2017 International Trainer of the Year, was nominated for the 2017 Fitness Hall of Fame, and has an 8,000-square foot training facility called the Elite Performance Center. Needless to say, this guy knows his stuff, so it’s no wonder he’s leading, mentoring, and inspiring others. Joe has put in work. He opened his training facility on his own, learned how to delegate, and scaled his business by teaching others to do what he does. He quickly learned that, if he wanted more freedom and time with his kids, he was going to need a business model that didn’t rely 100% on him. Tune in to hear how his business grew into what it is today, how he overcame the growing pains, and why he believes the “personal” needs to stay in personal training. In this episode, Joe and I discuss: His certification courses for personal trainers and company, PT Profits. How he teaches others to do what he does. The difference between content and delivery and what to look for when you hire. The challenges that come with teaching and coaching others. What’s ruining the industry and why the “personal” needs to stay in personal training. How Joe inspires an entrepreneurial attitude in his kids. 3:00 – 8:30 - The two tiers of Joe’s business, how he built them, and how he’s scaling 8:30 – 13:00 - Teaching the delivery of information and having reasonable expectations 13:00 – 17:00 - Attitude over skill 17:00 – 24:00 - The state of the industry, gaining experience, and creating long-term success 24:00 – 34:30 - Delegating, having a “get it done” attitude, and valuable teachings for the kids 34:30 – 38:00 – The Rapid Five
Join Jeri Taylor-Swade, a Direct Seller herself with 19 years experience as she shares her observations about Women in Direct Sales...the Direct Selling Industry is dominated by women and as an International Trainer for SeneGence International (the company she is with) Jeri has realized that women all over the world are more the same than most realize and certainly more than Jeri herself realized. Traveling the world has opened her eyes up to the fact that women are strong & resilient but ALL struggle with some of the same issues and bottom line, and for the most part want the same things out of life. Listen in and see if you agree with Jeri

Florian Fritz is the Money Teacher and is the founder of the Money Hero Academy, where he is teaching how to create financial freedom by improving your money mindset, money management and money-making skills. He created a system from what he learned and his own experience that allows everyone to take control of their finances and create the life of their dreams instead of always hoping for the next raise or the next client. Florian is an International Trainer who has shared virtual stages with people like Robert Kiyosaki, Nick Vujicic, Joseph Mclendon III and many others.
