We're kicking off the holiday season the best way we know how — with food, fun, and a dash of Disney magic. We start our day at The Plaza Restaurant on Main Street U.S.A. for a cozy holiday lunch — complete with that perfect view of Cinderella Castle and all the nostalgic charm The Plaza is known for. Hear our real-time reactions as we dive into seasonal offerings, discuss portion sizes, pricing, and that classic Main Street comfort food that never goes out of style. After lunch, we take a quick stroll down Main Street to scope out this year's holiday merch lineup — from must-grab ornaments to the newest festive clothing. We'll share what caught our eyes, what might catch your wallet, and what trends are popping up across the park this season. Then it's time to park-hop! Over at Disney's Animal Kingdom, we're heading straight to Isle of Java to taste-test two brand-new treats: the Donut Macaron, filled with chocolate ganache and strawberry jam, and the Bunny Burrow Coffee, a colorful cold brew with blueberry syrup and sweetened condensed milk. Which one wins the day — the photo-worthy macaron or the bold new brew? We'll give you our full verdict. Finally, we wrap things up inside the Tree of Life Theater for the all-new stage show, Zootopia: Better Zoogether. We'll share first impressions, crowd reactions, and how it stacks up as a replacement for It's Tough to Be a Bug! Does this fresh, tech-driven show make Animal Kingdom feel new again? It's a holiday-flavored, park-hopping adventure packed with food, fun, and festive spirit.

Do you love the music of Walt Disney World? The optimistic ambience of EPCOT's World Celebration, whimsical sounds of Magic Kingdom, organic vibes at Disney's Animal Kingdom, and cinematic orchestrations of Disney's Hollywood Studios each set the tone for the theme parks, as do the music loops found at the hotels (each one carefully curated to match the theme of the resort). Magic Kingdom's Liberty Square sits awkwardly in a corner of the park between Fantasyland and Frontierland. With audience tensions rising within the Hall of Presidents auditorium, it seems like it's only a matter of time before Liberty Square is given a makeover… and by not putting the popularity of the Broadway show “Hamilton” to use, Disney may be throwing away their shot at revitalizing the land. In this episode, Jake and Morgan imagine a Hamilton-infused Liberty Square remix. Listen along and join the Dis-cussion on social media @neverlandnavco

We're stepping into the lap of Disney luxury for another epic round of Resort Wars — and this time, it's an all-out battle between elegance and refinement as Disney's Riviera Resort goes head-to-head with Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. From European artistry to Victorian grandeur, we're diving deep into what makes each of these Deluxe destinations truly magical in its own right. We'll explore every corner and category, starting with theming and atmosphere — is it Riviera's intimate boutique charm or Grand Floridian's timeless opulence that captures the crown? Next, we'll unpack the rooms, from Riviera's clever Tower Studios and sprawling villas to Grand Floridian's newly refreshed spaces inspired by Mary Poppins Returns. Both deliver comfort and class, but in very different ways. Then it's on to dining — and let's be honest, this round alone could fill an entire podcast. We're comparing Topolino's Terrace and Primo Piatto to Victoria & Albert's, Citrico's, Narcoossee's, and more. From rooftop character breakfasts to Michelin-worthy cuisine, the food fight is fierce. We'll also talk transportation, where the Skyliner's breezy charm goes up against the monorail's Magic Kingdom convenience, and recreation, where Riviera's quiet sophistication faces Grand Floridian's live music, fireworks, and full-service spa. Finally, we'll weigh in on value. Whether you're planning a romantic couples' getaway or a bucket-list family stay, this showdown helps you figure out which resort best matches your Disney style, budget, and vibe.So grab your latte from Le Petit Café or a cocktail from Enchanted Rose, and join us as we debate, laugh, and share insider stories from two of Walt Disney World's most stunning resorts. It's Riviera versus Grand Floridian — modern European charm versus classic Disney royalty — and the results just might surprise you.
Hey Ohana, On this week's show we're taking a closer look at 3 of WDW's newest lounges: They Polynesian's Wailulu Bar and Grill, EPCOT's Geo-82, and Magic Kingdom's Beak & Barrel. We're joined by our friends Megan and Chris Blagg who have personally visited all three locations as we chat about what these new spots have to offer. From theming to menus, we share what we think Disney got right...or wrong in our opinion. We definitely offer a focus on food and cocktails in this episode. Be sure to listen to the end as well as we rank the three lounges and chat about the hits and misses at each and how we think they could improve them. We even share a little throwback to episode 63 to see if any of our Blue Sky Imagineering thoughts on Beak and Barrel came true! Thanks for tuning in and as always... See Ya Real Soon! THANK YOU to our friend and the official TA of MTADA, Sue Passauer. Sue's affiliated with MEI and Mouse Fan Travel and can help you plan the perfect Disney vacation (like our group cruise in August!) Send us a textA ruby-red cocktail, a carousel in view, and a debate we've wanted to settle for ages: which Fantasyland truly delivers the magic? We put Disneyland and Magic Kingdom head-to-head on the four things that matter most to park fans—food, layout, rides, and shows—and the results aren't as simple as coast pride. We start with the Handsome Brute and a quick reality check on price, then dive into dining. Florida brings the firepower with Cinderella's Royal Table, Be Our Guest, Gaston's Tavern, and a spread of quick-service spots, while Anaheim counters with the fan-favorite Red Rose Tavern and that coveted Grey Stuff. From value to character dining, we map where each land feeds your day best. Then we shift to what you feel the second you step through the castle. Disneyland's Fantasyland is a storybook square—tight, kinetic, and overflowing with classics like Mr. Toad, Alice, Pinocchio, and the canal boats, anchored by the Matterhorn. Magic Kingdom stretches wider, with Seven Dwarfs Mine Train at its core and Storybook Circus on the edge; it's generous in space and rich in queues, but less cohesive in spirit. On shows and characters, Florida wins with Mickey's PhilharMagic, Enchanted Tales with Belle, Princess Fairytale Hall, and reliable meet-and-greets. On rides, California's stacked lineup and intimate flow make a powerful case for the original. We wrap with practical strategy: rope drop plans, when to chase Peter Pan, how better queues can redeem longer waits, and why layout shapes the mood of your entire day. We're embracing our inner evil and assembling our ultimate Disney Villain Dream Teams! It's a snake-style draft where strategy, sass, and sinister laughs collide as we each pick five iconic foes from across the Disney universe. Here's how it works: we each draft two animated villains, one Pixar villain, one live-action villain, and one bonus wildcard who can come from any corner of the leftover baddies. Once a villain's been chosen, they're gone for good — no repeats allowed!Expect passionate defenses, dramatic alliances, and plenty of over-the-top reasoning as we crown our team leaders and debate who's most likely to stab someone in the back (literally or metaphorically). From Maleficent's poise to Hades' one-liners and Thanos' snap-happy attitude, every choice reveals who we think reigns supreme in the world of Disney darkness. So grab your poison apple, cue up your evil laugh, and join us for a fiendishly fun episode that proves villains really do have more fun. It's Halloween on Main Street Magic — and today, evil's never looked so good.

http://www.attractionchecklist.com - It's time to take a daring airplane ride with Goofy as we head to Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World to ride The Barnstormer on this episode of Attraction Checklist. Attraction audio recorded on May 21, 2025. TRANSCRIPT: Welcome to Attraction Checklist. This episode we visit Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom to ride The Barnstormer. The Walt Disney World website describes this attraction saying: Take flight above Storybook Circus with Goofy in a homemade stunt airplane for a thrilling junior roller coaster ride. Guests must be 35” or taller to ride this attraction. Before we take-off, here are five fast facts about The Barnstormer. 1. The Barnstormer is located in the Storybook Circus section of Fantasyland at Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom. The spot where the coaster is now used to belong to Grandma Duck's petting farm which was a petting zoo and home to the famous cow Minnie Moo. 2. The Barnstormer opened officially on October 1, 1996 in the renamed Toontown Fair section of Fantasyland. The story of the attraction was that Goofy was running a flight school on his farm. The ride's full name was The Barnstormer at Goofy's Wiseacre Farm. 3. The attraction closed on February 12, 2011 as part of the Fantasyland expansion at Magic Kingdom. 4. The ride reopened on March 12, 2012 as part of Fantasyland's Storybook Circus. The name was tweaked The Barnstormer featuring Goofy as The Great Goofini. 5. As you enter the attraction, turn and look at the back of the entrance sign. You'll see a set of red painted letters all jumbled up. When put together, these spell out Wiseacre Farm as a tribute to the previous attraction. Let's now ride the epic attraction that it The Barnstormer. Squeezing into the car with me is John B. deHaas and after we ride we'll give you our thoughts on this attraction. This is a binaural recording so if you have headphone, put them on now as we ride The Barnstormer at Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom. So light your pumpkin candle, dim the castle lights, and join us for Disney's Spookiest Stories — a hauntingly magical way to celebrate Halloween week at the Most Magical Place on Earth
We're taking our taste buds on a weekend adventure around Walt Disney World — from resort bites and zero-proof sips to full-on feasts and sweet endings. We kicked things off Thursday at Disney's Port Orleans Riverside, grabbing a bite before heading to Disney Springs for an evening of food and fun. Summer House on the Lake's zero-proof cocktails, like the Pineapple Kick and Sparkling Rosé Lemonade, are perfect examples of how non-alcoholic doesn't have to mean boring, although this trip the pizza did not quite hit the mark. From there, we couldn't resist a stop at Gideon's Bakehouse, where we tried seasonal sweets like the Bride of Frankenstein Cookie, the Banana Bread Chocolate Chip Cookie, and the PB & Jelly Cake.Friday's lineup was a true flavor rollercoaster. Between lemon pepper chicken tenders at Magic Kingdom and a trip off-property for Benihana's, our taste buds covered just about every texture and temperature possible. Saturday brought one of our favorite types of Disney days — eat, explore, repeat. From Karamel Küche's Caramel Gingerbread Cookie Sandwich to the hearty rolls at Ale & Compass, smoky brisket from The Polite Pig, and Indian-inspired flavors at EET by Maneet Chauhan, the variety was endless. Sunday wrapped things up on the sweetest note possible — cookies from Summer House, a relaxed meal at The Boathouse, and a festive finale at Scat Cat's Café with Ghoulish Beignets and an Agave Garden mocktail that proved Disney's zero-proof game is getting strong. From sugar highs to savory standouts, this weekend reminded us why Disney dining never gets old — there's always something new to taste, try, and talk about on Main Street Magic.
We're talking about something maybe every Disney fan should try at least once — visiting Walt Disney World solo. Whether you're a frequent park hopper, a first-timer craving some quiet time, or someone just curious about going it alone, we're diving into the perks and pitfalls of taking on Disney as a one-person party. We break down what makes a solo trip surprisingly magical — and occasionally a little awkward. There's the undeniable freedom to do what you want, from rope-dropping your favorite ride to napping mid-afternoon without guilt. You can go when you want, skip the group chats and calendar juggling, and let spontaneity be your guide. Want to hit every EPCOT festival booth? Go for it. Want to spend two hours just people-watching on Main Street with a Mickey pretzel? Absolutely your call. We'll also explore practical perks like saving money — fewer tickets, fewer meals, fewer souvenir “Can you get me this?” requests — and the all-powerful Single Rider superpower. From Expedition Everest to Test Track to Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run, being a party of one can mean cutting wait times in half. Even dining can become a breeze when you're the dream guest for last-minute lounge seating or bar-top bites.Of course, it's not all Dole Whips and fireworks. We'll be honest about the lonely moments — the times you wish you had someone beside you to laugh with, share a dessert, or snap that perfect castle photo. Still, for many, the solo Disney trip becomes a form of self-care, reflection, and rediscovery. So grab your MagicBand, pack your confidence, and join us as we explore what it really means to do Disney alone.
In this episode of The Case For with Chris Cox, the court examines one of Walt Disney World's most exclusive experiences: after hours hard ticket events. From Boo Bash to Jollywood Nights, are these late-night parties packed with unique perks, or are they just overpriced parades, cocoa, and chaos? Chris Cox and Len Testa present both sides while Judge Jim Hill keeps the cocoa flowing and the wardrobe sequins shimmering. What's on trial this week: The history of after hours events and how they evolved from one-night novelties to multi-month marathons Whether reduced crowds, short ride times, and exclusive parades justify the hefty ticket price The reality of hauling sleepy kids through midnight Magic Kingdom—and missing rope drop the next morning Unique snacks, trick-or-treating, and photo ops with rare characters like Zombie Goofy and the Seven Dwarfs Why weather, timing, and strategy can make or break your experience—and how to avoid the rookie mistakes Are these late-night parties the secret sauce of a magical Disney trip, or just an expensive way to ruin your socks in the rain? The verdict is still out. Share your thoughts and weigh in on social media to help settle the case.
