Was muss beachtet werden, damit Großraumbüros funktionieren? Was hält Peter Ippolito von leeren Schreibtischen? Neugierig geworden?

Welcome back you filthy space pirates! It is another episode of the Star Wars Re-Watch podcast. Thank you for joining us. My brother Mike was kind enough to lend his time for two episodes back to back. It is also here we are introduced to whom will be my favorite character in the series moving forward, SM 33. Yet again we have another Star Wars property where an actor portraying a droid steals the spotlight from the rest of the cast. I had no idea Nick Frost was doing the voice of SM 33. He is that good. Fern is able to confuse his logic circuits and convince him, she is now the captain and to bring them back home. Unfortunately, he has no record of where they were and instead astrogates them to Port Borgo. It is here we run into the pirates from the cold open that attacked the New Republic. The children arrive and are ferried by a creature I am fairly certain is native to Endor. anyone else remember Teek? After the children are eventually captured, the are thrown into a prison cell with a mysterious force wielder. While they are away, their parents are scrambling to get help from the supervisor. The droids are not very helpful and continue to stall and simply explain they have violated protocol and there is not aloud to call for help beyond the barrier. Fern's mother tries to expedite by requesting an audience with the supervisor but, delays persist. This was another cute episode. I really enjoyed Nick Frost's performance as SM 33. Thanks for listening. -Luca Visit the blog Subscribe on Discord Tweet us on Twitter @SWRewatchPod Subscribe on YouTube Subscribe on Apple Podcasts Subscribe on Spotify #StarWars #StarWarsPodcast #SM33 #NickFrost #PortBorgo #Endor #Teek #ForceWielder #StarWarsDroids #SciFiPodcast #StarWarsRewatch #GalaxyFarFarAway #PodcastCommunity #StarWarsFans #SkeletonCrew

Send us a textFor this week's episode, the DetBlock Crew bounce around a little bit with their topics. To start out, they discuss some news revolving around a particular character from a Star Wars movie you may or may not be familiar with that will be returning in the upcoming Star Wars show, Skeleton Crew. If you've seen our title thumbnail, you know who we are talking about. Yes, we're talking about Teek from Ewok Adventures: The Battle for Endor. Crazy enough, Mike and his wife actually ran into the actress who portrayed Teek [Niki Botelho] and they didn't even realize it at the time. Funny story, AMAZING person!Bogie and Mike then delve into the concept that Star Wars projects need to be written and created by people or teams that are fans of the franchise. Enough of the bringing in new people who have minimal to no knowledge of the Star Wars franchise, as Disney has specifically done with some of their projects. Instead, let's utilize people like Dave Filoni, Jon Favreau, and hey... maybe some fan film creators! Kidding... kind of...From there, the two guys start talking a little bit about the sequel trilogy and how jumping directors pretty much set that trilogy up for failure. What started with potential, ended with a project trying to quickly patch up the holes. Following that, they make a little comparison to what is going on with the Marvel universe and how confidence in that universe is waning as well and some of the reasons behind that. After talking a little bit about the Ahsoka show, a new book being released centering around certain Acolyte characters, and some fan film productions, they then finish up their talk with more of Bogie's Clone Wars season one experience. As he pushes through more episodes of the show, he brings his insights and opinions on the episodes he's watched.Social Media Handles:Twitter: @DetBlockAA23PodTikTok: @detblockaa23Instagram: detention_block_aa_23FB Group: Detention Block AA-23: A Star Wars PodcastYouTube: Detention Block AA-23: A Star Wars PodcastSponsors:Under Pressure BrewingMirror Twin BrewingGolden Valley, MNSource: Comics & GamesRoseville, MNStar Wars ComicsStar Wars Games: X-Wing & Armada strategy games; Star Wars: Legion strategy gameTwin Cities Geek - Magazine & Online CommunityMy Star Wars Life - FB Group (Join Now!)

I finally got a chance to catch up with Steph of Teek Interiors. If you don't know who Steph Abbott is just head over to her Instagram page @teekinteriors and give her a like. She's acquired over 50K followers but it wasn't by accident. Steph has had a unique approach to tackling Instagram and it's paid off for her. We talk about some strategic approaches to getting more followers and how some little tweaks can really bolster your engagement. We also discuss her last year of recovery from drugs and alcohol and how that freedom has lead her to some pretty extraordinary opportunities in the drywall community. We talk about her experience at the Great Rocky Mountain Adventure and getting to rep Richards with PRC and Gilbert taping. Oh, and we talk a lot about drywall finishing technique. Episode 111 is awesome and so is Steph and I hope you think so too. This episode of The Drywall Podcast is brought to you by Fresco Harmony. Making walls better since 2004. Intwüschen hebbt se an Dag gern mol fief vun de Beesters in't Fell. Na jo, Ratz un Fiete, so heet uns Katten, leggt sick je ook gern in de Büschers, in't hoge Gras un överhaupt dorhen, wonehm Teeken so gern op ehr Fröhstück töövt. Nu is overs 'n Teeken-Oart ut de Tropen no uns insleept worrn. Hyalomma heet de Dingers. Se reist tomeist mit ünnerscheedliche Vogels in, de in Winter no Süden fleegt. Un bi de Hüalommas is allns anners. To'n ersten künnt düsse Teeken kieken. Good sogor. Mit ehr groote Oogen spekuleert se in de Gegend rüm. Un wenn wat to Eeten vörbikümmt, denn rennt se dat bilütten sogor 'n poor hunnert Meter achteran. Hüppen künnt se ook. Un se sünd veel grötter as unse Teeken. Ohaueha. Dat is je richti Gruselig. Ick wurr gern mol weeten, wat de Natuur in Sinn harr, as se de Teeken erfunnen hett. Veellicht harr Mudder Natuur jüst 'n slechten Dag. Man weet dat ni. Mi hett düssed Johr jedenfalls to'n Glück noch keen Teek beeten. Toi, toi, toi. Overs wenn ick in Tokunft mitkrieg, dat mi so'n niemodsche Hüalomma-Teek ankiekt, mit de Oogen knippelt un mi achterandackeln will, denn kiek ick eenfach so granti trüch, dat se sick gor ni truut, no mi hentoloopen. Nu mutt ick blots noch 'n Möglichkeit finnen, wo ick dat grantige Kieken ook uns Katten bibring‘ kann… In düssen Sinn

We are playing Tentacle City by Willow Palacek! The people of Tentacle Garden City are going about their ordinary and, let's be honest, faintly ridiculous lives. Little do they realise that they are about to come under attack from hideous tentacles! We are going to find out who survives and who is dragged under by the horrid protuberances. In this episode: Teek and Maltar hunt for the parts to repair their spaceship - with widdlywee! The Women's Institute return to the medieval fete to find it in tentacle-induced chaos. Karen and Wes are still exactly where they started - but surely this time they'll get out of the close? Needless to say, it'll all end in tears. For May's movie theme, FORCED, we're discussing every Star Wars film in chronological order including the made for TV movies and we wrap up the “Made for TV Trilogy” with the 1985 follow up to “Caravan of Courage” called “EWOKS: THE BATTLE FOR ENDOR”. Cindel and Wicket are back and that annoying Mace kid? Dead. In fact, the whole family except Cindel is dead and most of the Ewok village is abducted by Orc looking dudes. I'm sure it was all Mace's fault somehow but this movie is definitely better than its predecessor. Quality is assured because we got ourselves a space hermit played by none other than Wilford Motherfucking Brimley. He may be gruff but he's got a good heart and will eat all of your porridge. He's also got a little buddy named “Teek” who runs real fast and is a total scamp. When the sorceress bird lady kidnaps Cindel, then Wilford, Teen and Wicket got to go to the orc castle to rescue her and the rest of the Ewoks. More training for when the Empire comes. Cindel has a new daddy now and let's hope he has access to proper refrigeration for his insulin.

Steph is a true trades person and this fact shines through in her interview. Steph hasn't always had it easy and we talk about the early days of working for A-Tech Drywall while also branching out on her own all while taking care of a child on her own. Today she has three kids and runs her own business with some help from her partner and a lot of hard work. Her social media chops are on point and she continues to crush it in a male dominated trade. We talk about CanAm tools, Columbia, and some of her hand finishing techniques but also why she's open to new ways to finish drywall. This episode, the 68th episode, will be an instant favorite. This week we are talking our 1st Star Wars movie, "Ewoks: The Battle for Endor". It was a 1st watch for both of us and we agreed that it was long overdue. This one had us talking about Wilford Brimley in an action scene, the great villains in the Marauders, the awesomeness that is Teek, and so much more. I am so happy to have finally covered a Star Wars film and this one was a lot of fun. Watch the review at sequelsonly.com/ewoks The next sequel discussed is "American Wedding". For it chatted with Actor Patrick Gallo. We talked about his journey from upstate NY to playing Mario Puzo on "The Offer" with stops along the way that included an acting school in NYC, the Budweiser "How You Doing" commercials, filmmaking, improv, and more. Follow us on all social media @sequelsonly and our website is sequelsonly.com Review, rate, and share us with your friends, enemies, neighbors, exes, and even that annoying supermarket clerk!

Merriam-Webster's Word of the Day for October 1, 2022 is: critique kruh-TEEK noun A critique is a careful judgment in which you give your opinion about the good and bad parts of something, such as a piece of writing or a work of art. // Although I disagreed with them, the reviewer gave a fair and honest critique of the film. See the entry > Examples: “Georgia, Gabriella, and Yannik still hadn't gotten a critique from the judges at this point, and while no news can be considered good news (they'd advanced safely through so far), it also meant they'd gotten no feedback that could guide them in the right directions. What do the judges like about their work? What should they lean into? More importantly, what should they lean away from?” — Daniel Montgomery, Gold Derby, 26 Aug. 2022 Did you know? What's the difference between criticism and critique? There's some overlap in meaning, but they're not the same in every situation. Criticism is most often used broadly to refer to the act of negatively criticizing someone or something (“I'm more interested in encouragement right now than criticism”) or a remark or comment that expresses disapproval (“She shared a minor criticism about the design”), while critique is a more formal word for a carefully expressed judgment, opinion, or evaluation of both the good and bad qualities of something—for example, books or movies. Thus, a critic can write a critique that may be full of criticism.
