Dust off that giant binder of scratched CDs you definitely didn't throw away because apparently funny podcast history has come full circle: physical media is making a comeback. The show kicks off with the surprising resurgence of CDs, with sales jumping while vinyl growth slows down. Why? Turns out paying nearly $40 for a new record eventually makes people reconsider the humble compact disc. Gen Z is getting into CDs, independent record stores are stocking more of them, older cars still have CD players, and there's something comforting about owning music that can't suddenly disappear from a streaming service. Moon also realizes those boxes of old band CDs might not be useless relics after all. Congratulations to everyone who refused to clean out their basement. Your moment has arrived. Then Crap on Celebrities takes us directly into the wildly expensive world of Hollywood memorabilia. A screen-matched mosquito-in-amber prop from the original Jurassic Park sells for more than $400,000, while Christopher Reeve's Superman gear and John Travolta's famous Saturday Night Fever suit also bring ridiculous money at auction.Naturally, this becomes less about collecting important pieces of movie history and more about whether you're morally obligated to PUT THE COSTUME ON.Because if you spend hundreds of thousands of dollars on Superman's costume just to leave it behind glass, what are we even doing here? The crew also gets into entertainment news, including the changing timeline between theatrical releases and streaming, Toy Story 5, a live-action Scooby-Doo prequel, and Ghost taking a hiatus after Tobias Forge admits he doesn't currently have a clear vision for the band's next album. We salute a man willing to say, “I don't know what the next thing is yet,” instead of releasing twelve remixes and a commemorative popcorn bucket. Then there's Grand Theft Auto. The latest massive GTA preview sends the room into gamer mode as the crew talks about the gigantic map, Jason and Lucia's evolving relationship, smarter cops, surveillance cameras, changing disguises, massive police chases and an enormous story that could consume roughly 80 hours of your life.So basically, Rockstar has created a second full-time job, except this one lets you steal cars. The funny podcast chaos keeps rolling with Paris Hilton landing on a list of influential people in artificial intelligence because of her advocacy surrounding privacy and non-consensual AI-generated media. Then the hunt for the next James Bond gives everyone a chance to evaluate candidates with the rigorous casting standards you'd expect from three guys who immediately nominate Mr. Bean. And finally, we tackle one of the most important databases ever assembled: tall and short rock stars.Chris Novoselic. Danny Carey. Mick Fleetwood. Buckethead. Joey Ramone. Billy Corgan. Angus Young. Prince. Glenn Danzig. Stevie Nicks. The measurements are flying, everyone suddenly seems either seven feet tall or legally eligible for a booster seat, and we discover once again that stage presence apparently adds about eight inches.Throw in celebrity birthdays, Luis Guzmán appreciation, Warren Buffett confusion, Charlie Munger confusion, additional Charlie confusion, and the traditional descent into nonsense, and you've got another funny podcast from The Rizzuto Show.Physical media is back. Movie props cost more than retirement. GTA may require PTO. And Danzig is still Danzig at any height. That's enough education for one day.Follow The Rizzuto Show → linktr.ee/rizzshow for more from your favorite daily comedy show.Connect with The Rizzuto Show Comedy Podcast online → 1057thepoint.com/RizzShow.Hear The Rizz Show daily on the radio at 105.7 The Point | Hubbard Radio in St. Louis, MO.See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

Interview Date: July 26th, 2026Episode Summary:In this episode of The Business of Dance Podcast, Menina Fortunato reconnects with Hollywood Summer Tour alum Angelica Valente, whose journey has taken her from competitive dancer in Thunder Bay, Ontario, to an LA-based director, producer, fashion designer, and creative entrepreneur. Angelica shares how an early trip to Los Angeles changed the trajectory of her life, eventually inspiring her to move to LA at 17 to study dance. While pursuing a professional dance career, her interests in fashion, film, editing, styling, and creative direction began opening doors she never originally imagined.Angelica opens up about navigating the entertainment industry as an international artist, from OPT and the O-1 visa process to developing the work ethic, resourcefulness, and relationships necessary to build a career in the United States. Today, her worlds of dance, film, fashion, and creative direction intersect through productions, campaigns, custom stagewear, and visual storytelling.Throughout the conversation and mentee Q&A, Angelica encourages dancers to remain open to where their careers can lead, take risks before they feel completely ready, and create opportunities rather than waiting for permission. Rewind to 13–19 August 2006, when internet petitions were becoming a thing, every celebrity seemed to have a side hustle and the Innovations catalogue was convinced you could get ripped without leaving the lounge room.
In this episode of Candidly with Coffee, we're talking about a body trend that most of us thought was dead and buried — and somehow it's back. Y2K skinny. Heroin chic. The era of Paris Hilton, Nicole Richie, and tiny waists with zero muscle. And if you've been paying attention to what's happening in Hollywood right now, you already know exactly what we're talking about. We break down how GLP-1s are accidentally fueling the return of the most toxic body standard of our generation, why celebrities like Ariana Grande are unknowingly leading the charge, and why this trend is even more dangerous the second time around because now there's a drug making it easier than ever to get there.Work with JeanineBook a free consult https://bit.ly/4dUHYZeMike's YouTube Channel: @escoelitemindsetMike's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/@escoelitemindsetSupport our Sponsors1UP Nutrition Code: JEANINEhttps://1upnutrition.com/JEANINEHRT & Peptides (Tell them Jeanine Escobar when filling out ntake)https://www.vitabella.comMegaFit Meals - Code Jeanine10 https://megafitmeals.rfrl.co/p75q7Built Bar Code: MRSCEOJhttps://builtbar.com?baapp=MRSCEOJSupport us by following on Social MediaAmazon Storefront: https://www.amazon.com/shop/mrsceo_jLTK Fashion Links: https://www.shopLTK.com/explore/MrsCEO_JShopmy https://shopmy.us/shop/mrsceoj?Section_id=1519253&tab=collectionsInstagram: https://instagram.com/mrsceo_jInstagram: https://instagram.com/candidly_withcoffeeWeight Loss IG: https://instagram.com/@coach.jeanineescobarTikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@mrsceo_j

Summer is winding down, routines are nowhere to be found, and Kate and Jayme have THOUGHTS. This week, we're catching up on what summer has looked like lately, from parenting wins and stressful mom moments to backyard gardens, basement renovations, new drinks, spicy books, reality TV, and the emotional roller coaster that is simply trying to cook dinner without setting a timer.Jayme shares a scary experience with Ben's first blood draw and the abnormal results they're now following up on, plus a major personal win: pushing through social anxiety at a birthday party and actually connecting with another mom.Kate talks about the chaos that comes when summer camp ends and the routine disappears, why the new pool may have officially changed her opinion of summer, and a recent liver health scare that has her making some changes while waiting for more answers. Also in this episode: What We're Reading: Memoirs, hockey romance that was MUCH spicier than anticipated, Love at First Sighting, Paris Hilton, and the possibility of an official It's Giving Motherhood book club. What We're Watching: Blue Bloods, Criminal Minds, Below Deck Mediterranean, Jersey Shore Family Vacation, psychological thrillers, and apparently a Charles Manson family mystery because our watchlists are nothing if not diverse. Summer Wins: CSA veggies, four surviving tomato plants, accidental compost squash, baby corn, a finished basement, Mediterranean bowls, and homemade meatballs that nearly caused an emotional breakdown before turning out perfectly. What We're Drinking: Javvy Mango Pineapple Refreshers, pineapple sparkling water, and Arbonne fizz sticks. Plus, Jayme has officially entered her Arbonne era!And because summer is almost over, we're looking ahead to BACK TO SCHOOL, which means schedules, transitions, lunchboxes, emotions, and parents everywhere wondering how summer disappeared so fast. We want to hear from you! What was your biggest summer win? What are you reading right now? And what's your best back-to-school tip?Send us your book recs, summer recaps, and back-to-school survival strategies on Facebook or Instagram at @ItsGivingMotherhood.Grab your coffee, sparkling water, protein drink, or whatever is currently keeping you functional, and hang out with us!

What happens when health advice starts looking more like entertainment than medicine? In this episode, Farley and Jennifer examine the growing influence of social media on the way people approach wellness, beauty, supplements, fitness, and medical treatments. They explain how influencers, celebrity endorsements, discount codes, and carefully designed algorithms can make a product feel trustworthy, even when the person promoting it has no medical expertise. The conversation covers peptides, GLP-1 medications, supplements, wearable health trackers, dangerous viral trends, and the risks of buying unregulated products through gray-market sources.Listeners will learn why a personal success story is not the same as scientific evidence, how health data can become an unhealthy obsession, and why no wellness protocol works for everyone. Farley and Jennifer encourage listeners to research ingredients, understand possible side effects, get baseline bloodwork, and give a qualified medical professional the chance to weigh in.The episode closes by honoring Paris Hilton for turning her influence into advocacy and reminding us not to judge someone solely by their public image.Episode Highlights:(0:00) Intro(1:12) Why social media health advice is risky(4:41) Celebrity influence and questionable brand deals(7:22) The appeal of instant wellness solutions(8:51) How Paris Hilton shaped influencer culture(12:21) Peptides, GLP-1s, and online health products(14:09) How algorithms turn attention into sales(16:47) When health technology becomes an obsession(19:12) Why wellness is never one-size-fits-all(24:33) Bloodwork, research, and medical guidance(28:12) Dangerous health trends affecting young people(32:28) How to judge wellness endorsements(38:39) Paris Hilton's advocacy and Got Grit Award(45:40) OutroSend us Fan MailSupport the showFollow us:Web: https://girlsgonegritty.com/Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/girlsgonegritty/More ways to find us: https://linktr.ee/girlsgonegritty

I want to tell you about my friend Larry. Larry is pretty well known in the podcast world as a content creator, a consultant, and a subject matter expert for journalists. I've seen lots of times where he's appeared on local and national TV shows, talking about podcasting as well as AI – he's been on the forefront of how to use AI for personal and business productivity. And he's been a sought-after keynote speaker at lots of organizations where he talks about these things. A few years ago, Larry and I were in Los Angeles during a podcasting conference. One evening during that week there was a big podcast awards show, and there was an after party. I don't usually go to those things, but for some reason I was there. It was a private party but lots of people were there and it was on a rooftop bar, I don't even remember the name of it. Of course the music was loud, and you would never guess who the DJ was – Paris Hilton. It was pretty crazy. And of course I would see Larry every year in January in Orlando, at the conference called Podfest. But this past January I didn't see Larry. I didn't know why he wasn't there, and honestly I didn't think about it a lot. It's always a busy week and there are a couple thousand people there. But what I didn't know was that Larry was in rehab at that time. He was trying to overcome Alcohol Use Disorder. Maybe better known as alcoholism. Larry's life is very different now. His addiction to alcohol means he no longer has his business, his house, his cars, his wife – all gone. He's working on his comeback now, and he told me the whole story which you're about to hear. I also need to include a content warning for discussion of suicide. What Larry didn't know at the time was - when he missed that Orlando conference because of being in rehab – he had not yet reached his rock bottom. Allegheny County's paid parental leave proposal has sparked tons of debate, and now the conversation has veered somewhere darker. The Tim Conway Jr Show Hour 3 (7.13) A nasty SoCal heatwave is rolling in with sky-high humidity — we’re all sweating balls out here! Wildfires have sparked but firefighters are working hard on containment. Paris Hilton is back in the news as an advocate fighting to shut down the brutal Provo, Utah boarding school she attended as a teen, though we can’t help missing the old “Simple Life” Paris from the aughts. There’s a vegetation fire called the Zebra Fire burning in Azusa north of the 210, and don’t forget the shirtless nut in East Hollywood who jumped on a Waymo’s windshield, yelling at the sensors and ripping the car apart. In Boyle Heights, residents are dealing with an unbearable rotten stench, flies, and rodents thanks to the 85 million pounds of food rotting at the burned Linear Logistics warehouse, plus a burst water main leaving people without water nearby. On a slightly better note, two corpse flowers are about to bloom at the Huntington Library — those things only flower for 24–48 hours every few years and smell exactly as bad as the name suggests. In celebrity news, comedian Tom Segura and his wife Christina Pazsitzky announced they’re divorcing but will keep doing their podcast “Your Mom’s House” together (that should go smoothly!), while Brad Pitt’s kids Zahara and Maddox took out newspaper ads announcing they’re dropping “Pitt” and keeping “Jolie.”See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
Kelly Slater's controversial Tahiti wild card, Outerknown's connection to the WSL event, and the future of professional surfing lead this episode of the Pinch My Salt surf podcast. Sterling Spencer and Cousin Ryan debate whether Kelly Slater deserves the Tahiti Pro wild card, whether a sponsor should be able to put its own co-founder into a World Surf League contest, and whether the 11-time world champion can still win in heavy Tahiti barrels. We also break down the biggest surf news, viral surfing clips, surf culture debates, and pro surfing controversies: Louis Vuitton and Pharrell bringing Mikey February, Raimana and twin-fin surfboards into high fashion; Jack Johnson getting caught riding a soft-top surfboard; Rob Machado's effortless surfing technique and pop-up; Kai Lenny's surf training; wave-pool airs versus real ocean surfing; surf etiquette, women getting waves, dangerous kooks, Blue Crush, Keala Kennelly, Alana Blanchard, women's surf history, Paris Hilton surfing a wave pool, WSL judging, Griffin Colapinto, Ethan Ewing, Jack Robinson, Tom Curren, Skip Frye and the question every core surfer is asking—is surf culture dying? This is surf comedy, surf commentary and honest surf-industry talk for fans of WSL surfing, classic surf videos, surf podcasts and core surf culture worldwide.Did Kelly Slater earn the Tahiti wild card—or did Kelly and Outerknown find a way to give themselves a spot in the contest? Sterling and Ryan agree that surfing is better with Kelly in it, but question whether another young Tahitian or up-and-coming surfer should have received the opportunity. The boys also discuss why professional surfing struggles to create stars, whether the WSL needs legendary surfers such as Kelly Slater, Tom Curren and Tom Carroll judging events, and why current surf contests feel disconnected from the culture that created them.Drop your opinion in the comments:
To kick off our tabloid princess (or something) series we're doing, the boys are traveling down to Louisiana to hang with a massive cast for the CW, and with the Queen herself: Paris Hilton. The Springville campus of a controversial treatment school for troubled youth had its license revoked. Now, the Provo Canyon School must wind down operations at the campus by the beginning of August. The school came into the spotlight a few years ago after celebrity Paris Hilton testified on Utah's Capitol Hill about the treatment and alleged abuse she faced when attending years ago. That testimony came as State Senator Mike McKell sponsored legislation to increase oversight over these so-called treatment facilities; he joins to share his reaction. KSL NewsRadio's Cameron Elliott joins first to break down the new developments.
AP correspondent Julie Walker reports Utah revokes a license for the boarding school where Paris Hilton says she was abused as a teen.

The Bling Ring is based on the true story of a group of Los Angeles teenagers who burglarized the homes of celebrities including Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan, Audrina Patridge, and Orlando Bloom between 2008 and 2009. Driven by an obsession with fame, fashion, and celebrity culture, they stole millions of dollars' worth of luxury items before eventually being caught by police. It doesn't get bigger than Linda Wells, the founding editor of Allure magazine, branding consultant, founder of Flesh, and now a columnist for Air Mail, and the editor of Look (Air Mail's beauty vertical). Linda was the woman who decided beauty was worthy of its own conversation, with sharp reporting, a critical eye, and of course, a sense of humor. Fitness copyright just got dismantled, deepfake porn just got a law, and Rosie O'Donnell just got honest. Something happened in a federal courtroom that every fitness creator, every entrepreneur, every woman who's ever built something from scratch needs to hear about. It involves Tracy Anderson, a $110 million fitness empire, and a ruling that just told her anyone can copy 30 years of her work. And that's just where Chalene Johnson gets started in this episode. By the end, you'll know why a suburban pharmacist became the face of the biggest deepfake porn crisis in history, what Paris Hilton's new TikTok documentary is exposing, and why the Take It Down Act might matter to you personally, even if you have 200 followers and a private account. There's also a Rosie O'Donnell facelift confession nobody saw coming, a very honest conversation about women and bodies and who we go after when we're triggered, and a personal announcement from Chalene about where this show is headed next. This is a great episode to share!
Join Natalie and Paige as they dive deep into the glitz, glam, and grit of the original influencer: Paris Hilton.
