It is a privilege to welcome Rebecca Roberts and Kurt Szarka to The Jake's Take with Jacob Elyachar Podcast.  Rebecca began her career as a singer and a dancer for Katherine Jenkins' Believe: Live from the O2 concert. She started in shorts such as Always at Home and Altered Memories before moving on to films such as Pompeii and Life. Rebecca also lent her voice as various characters in the Assassin's Creed video game franchise and appeared on The CW's The Flash (January Gilmore) and Legends of Tomorrow (Queen Anne of Austria), and the popular web series, Evolve: Year Zero (Rawny).  Kurt spent his younger years playing sports and always had a passion for the creative arts. Szarka discovered his love for acting at an early age when he played Scrooge in his grade six school production of Charles Dickens' “A Christmas Carol.” After studying Economics and Finance at University, he went to work on the trading floor, but his passion for acting never left and he continued to study acting in his free time.Finally, he took the leap, moved out to the West Coast, and quickly began working full-time in film and television. Kurt appeared in the CW's Batwoman, where he portrayed the famed DC comics character, Slam Bradley. He then worked for the CW again in their hit series Riverdale.  Kurt also appears in the Netflix series Maid and the Netflix Christmas Feature “Love Hard.” In addition, he appeared in Syfy's Wynonna Earp, V.C. Andrews' Heaven mini-series for Lifetime, and the movies Sweet as Pie and Fishing for Love. For Hallmark, Kurt has appeared in Picture Perfect Mysteries: Newlywed and Dead and Falling for You.Rebecca Roberts and Kurt Szarka are also the co-founders of ReadyMade Productions. Unlimited Leaguers, we are going back in time! Forward as well. This really felt like an episode of Legends of Tomorrow. That is fine by us! Chronos is a henpecked scientist who creates a time traveling belt. He escapes his wife and continues to steal items, but a run-in with the League has him escape to the past. He lands in the Old West. His time belt is stolen byTobias Manning, who uses it to bring futuristic gear back in time and rule the territory. Batman, Wonder Woman, and Green Lantern team up with Bat Lash, El Diablo, Jonah Hex and Ohiyesa Smith to take Tobias down. But Chronos escapes and the League follows. They land in 2055. They are confronted by the Jokerz gang, but thankfully the future League is there to help.  Chronos has destroyed the watch tower and most of the heroes with it including Superman! The only members who are left are an Old Static Shock, Warhawk (son of Green Lantern and Hawkgirl), Future Batman (Terry McGinnis), and future Bruce. Our JLU learns from the future one. They devise a plan to get to Chronos. Time is collapsing. Wonder Woman disappears, John turns into Hal Jordan and back, and more. They must stop Chronos. After a battle with the Jokerz, several members are lost and are killed. Chronos escapes and Batman & Green Lanter follow. They stop him before he reaches the beginning of time. Time is reset and no one remembers but Bruce and John. Chronos is stuck in a time loop as punishment. 2025 Xmas Special 2: PRP Xmas Radio Reissue and Meeting Brandon Routh and Rachael Leigh Cook for Xmas Sarah and Brian are back for one last episode in 2025!   This is mainly a reissue of the very festive 2023 Holiday music episode, but it also includes the wrap-up of the hosts' trip to the Hallmark Christmas Con in Edison, New Jersey last weekend.  Brian and Sarah talk about meeting Rachael Leigh Cook from the delightful "Josie and the Pussycats" and Brandon Routh from awesome DC projects like "Superman Returns" and "Legends of Tomorrow."  The trip was a ton of fun so hopefully you will enjoy the story of meeting these stars! After an internship at Marvel, Marc worked as a lawyer for a time, before transitioning to TV to become one of the architects of the Arrowverse. Marc reflects on his comics work for Marvel and DC, including The Flash and Amazing Spider-Man, his experience with the 2011 Green Lantern movie and what he learned from that project, and how he and his co-creators developed Arrow as the foundation for what became a decade-spanning shared TV universe. We explore his work on Legends of Tomorrow and how the show evolved from a more serious tone to embracing its wild, time-traveling absurdity. The time loop is shattered as Tread Perilously finally watches an episode of Legends of Tomorrow called "Here I Go Again." When Zari is left behind to fix the Waverider, she soon finds herself in a time loop. Needing to convince the others that they are dying over and over again, she learns the secret words that will get Nate to believe her immediately. Soon, the pair must learn why the ship is being destroyed, who intends its destruction, and the reasons for the time loop itself. Along the way, Zari also learns to like the loveable losers aboard the Waverider. Erik and Justin immediately talk about various Paramount TV series. Erik must also pronounce a difficult name. Justin declares Legends his favorite corner of the Arrowverse even as he recalls its initial, horrible, premise. Invisible Child and TalHotBlonde come up in the conversation, proving the time loop is real. The Arrowverse's problem with love interests also enters the loop again. The Waverider crew gets evaluated and the Science Bros. get high marks. A wild Gary appears. The pair highlight Arrowverse actors they want back on screen. Erik admits his ambivalence toward The Naked Gun movies and Tala Ashe proves to be a true MVP.

Genre: Science Fiction   Excerpt: The newly appointed Captain Dorus gazed at his new crew, each one interviewed and hand-picked by him. The not-so-hotshot pilot, Orson, who retired early after she was nearly killed flying into a star during a practice maneuver. The experienced engineer, Rekha, whose tendency to tinker a little too much got her booted off the first four ships she was assigned to. A doctor, Shade, who had no specialty because she kept getting distracted by new discoveries. Gregory Harrison plays Fire Chief Sam. Gregory has 119 acting credits and most recently he has appeared in 144 episodes of "General Hospital." Gregory reprised his role in the sequel - "The Nine Kittens of Christmas" and also appeared in a number of the "Signed, Sealed, Delivered" movies.  Jennifer Cheon Garcia plays fellow vet school student Sarah. She has 38 acting credits and ticks bingo spaces for "Girlfriends Guide to Divorce" as well as "Once Upon a Time." Filming took place at Fort Langley in the Langley Township, British Columbia.
