How do you become an award-winning coach? How can you stand out within the coaching and personal development industry? How do you lead within your industry? I have been selected as a FINALIST or WON an award for EVERY single award I have put myself forward for since I started my coaching business. I've won 2 coaching awards, and been a finalist for another 5 others. Even though I like to tell myself this is due to luck - let's be honest, it's not! So, today I'm sharing the top 5 qualities that have led to me being not only a MULTIPLE award-winning coach but also a consistent leader within our industry and any niche I bring my attention to. I'm sharing this not to brag (but why not?!) OR to help you win more awards (also, but why not?) BUT to help you become the BEST coach/spaceholder/consultant/therapist/personal development business owner you can be. Which has nothing to do with competing with other people in the industry, but everything to do with bringing out the best within YOU. This is how you lead, serve, make a difference and create an incredibly successful business in the coaching and personal development industry (or whichever industry you operate in!). You'll learn: 1) The number 1 quality that I had locked in BEFORE I started my business that I see most coaches and personal development business owners skip; 2) My perspective on when to certifications (when to get them and how not to let them dilute your unique zone of genius as a coach, consultant, therapist or space-holder); 3) What professional development looks like as a coach, consultant, therapist or space-holder; 4) The quality that makes ALL THE DIFFERENCE in everything you do in your business when it comes to IMPACT and CONFIDENCE; and 5) The quality I believe I had the MOST of when I started my business. Listen to the episode and then let me know: What quality are you working on next? Enjoy! In this episode of The Optimistic American, Dr. Emily Bashah and Paul Johnson discuss ways employees can improve the quality of life at work and get their needs met. They break down topics like ways to ask for a raise or a promotion, the rise of the victimhood mentality, and the 5 keys to becoming a superstar employee. Emily and Paul start the conversation by describing the difference between a public and a private-sector employer. Paul shares why professional services like doctors struggle with great product delivery. Emily and Paul talk about negative beliefs employees have and the problems they cause at the workplace. Do we actually have control over our own destiny? Paul believes we do, but most people leave it to their environment. For Emily, mentors and coaches are the most important people when launching careers or starting a business. Paul goes through the 3 main avenues for finding meaning in life. Paul and Emily agree that although we cannot control all situations in life, we can control how we think and, therefore, how we feel when tragedy strikes. According to Paul, we are all leaders - but high-quality leadership is learned and earned. To be an outstanding leader, Paul believes you must be a great follower first. Emily highlights the benefits of being a nice boss and a nice employee - and ways to prevent yourself from being too nice. What is the victim triangle, and how does the victim mindset impact a person's destiny? Paul and Emily discuss the worrying rise of the victimhood culture and why it's time we consider it a worldwide epidemic. Paul feels the best way to navigate problems is to first take responsibility and admit it's your fault - only then will you be able to fix it. Paul and Emily go through the 5 keys to becoming a superstar: Learn to listen - This is a hard skill to master because to listen, you have to ask questions. Know the vision - Know the vision of the company you work for and what they're trying to achieve. Know your value - Be very clear on your strengths, limitations, talents, and what you bring to the table. Know and deliver on your timelines - If you consistently deliver projects on time, you will be seen as a superstar. Expand your education - This is a key part to getting promotions and succeeding at work. According to Emily, the best way to treat your customers is the exact way you would treat your mother. When it comes to income disparities, Paul feels the question to ask yourself is whether it's better to bring down the people at the top and get rid of inequality or raise everybody up but increase the disparity. Learn how to attract younger women as an older man! In today's video we're going to show you some of the most important qualities younger women look for when looking for an older man to date. Are you a bit apprehensive about initiating conversation with a younger woman? Do you fear that because you're older than her, that means that she won't look twice at you? Perhaps you're sitting on the bench, refusing to play because you're giving yourself a pep talk before the whistle blows. And so We've all heard the jokes about "daddy issues" or "gold diggers," which society frequently uses to ridicule younger women who prefer to date men who are older than they are. But very few people in society are interested enough to inquire as to why these women favor older men; instead, they simply enjoy passing judgment for the sake of passing judgment, deflecting attention from their own lives and problems. Of course Age is simply a preference for many younger women, much like some guys favor brunettes. It may be true that younger women are drawn to older men who appear more successful or offer financial stability. So if you are an older guy, lets take a look at the qualities you provide, that women want in a man. #Joyanima #Dating #Agegap 0:00 Intro 1:08 Older Men Will Attract Younger Women By Displaying THESE Top Qualities That Women Want In A Man 2:29 Honesty 3:50 Happiness 5:01 Communication 6:20 Confidence 7:07 Smell nice 8:13 Experience 9:33 Responsibility

This week on Spin It, Stephynie is speaking with Nathan Chan! Nathan's journey started off like so many of the other stories you hear out there. He got an IT degree because he believed it was the best degree to set him up for the future. He proceeded to get a job in IT and instantly hated it. So in order to break away from the misery, he headed off to Europe. While in Europe he had an epiphany and makes the decision not return to the job he dreads so much. Fast forward, Nathan takes a leap of faith and bootstraps what we know today as Foundr magazine on less than three thousand dollars and takes it from idea to inception in just 4 months. Today, Foundr is much more than the magazine it started off as. Foundr has grown into a digital content empire and serves as a major resource for today's entrepreneurs and business owners of the future. On today's episode, they take an intimate look into Nathan's journey and find out how he was able to turn several obstacles along the way into opportunities and ultimately find a way to spin life in his direction! Our guest this week on the Absolutely Write podcast is Daisy Tanwani, Founder, CEO and Creative Head of Pinklay. Being an avid traveller, Daisy realized that the best Indian handicrafts were being exported, and not easily available to Indians. With a mission to revive the unparalleled aesthetic of the Indian artisanal work, and make it accessible to Indians, Daisy decided to pursue her dream of starting Pinklay in December 2015. Her passion for creating and building, her love for animals, and her grit to acknowledge her strengths as a woman leader, resonates with her brand. She believes, as a woman, one is wired differently. But different doesn't mean inadequate. Through Pinklay, she wants to urge women to stay connected with their gender and lead. Daisy's mantra for an impact-making life is “To laugh often and much, to win the respect of intelligent people, and the affection of children...to leave the world a better place...to know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived; this is to have succeeded.” Daisy believes that one must trust oneself with their dreams, for castles are not built overnight. Aditi analyses Daisy's handwriting and talks about some interesting aspects of her personality including what makes her a successful entrepreneur. Daisy shares some behind-the-scenes stories of her life and what makes her a fierce and independent leader. She shares some brilliant takeaways and learnings which would change your perspective on funding and taking risks. Keep a notepad handy to make notes. Thank you for joining us on this special episode, friends! We have been blessed to have built some great relationships with friends who love Jesus and spur us on to love and good works throughout the years. But that doesn't mean we haven't experienced seasons of loneliness and hurt from friendships that have come and gone too. Thankfully, we trust the Lord to bring the right people into our lives at the right season, and He is always faithful to do just that. If you are struggling to find the right circle of people to call friends, ask God to begin bringing them into your life and don't settle. Quality relationships take work and time to build, but we asked you all for some top qualities you look for in friendships, and it was so encouraging to us as we read your responses, so we wanted to share some of them in this episode. The world has changed a lot since the classic bestseller, The Leadership Challenge was first published in the early 1980s, but the core principles of good leadership remain essentially the same. Leadership qualities like honesty, credibility and openness to feedback are so evergreen that further research only tends to solidify their truth and relevance. Join Dr. Diane Hamilton as she engages in an amazing discussion with the book’s co-author, Jim Kouzes. Jim brings us up to speed about the updates to the book in its upcoming 7th edition, as well as some of the amazing academic work that he and his colleagues are doing at the Doerr Institute for New Leaders at Rice University. One of the interesting things you’ll learn from this conversation is that only one in a million people do not have some leadership ability. If by any chance you are one of those people, that would be the only reason why you shouldn’t listen to this.Love the show? King Rick and Queen Unique has many topics that people find hard to figure out. What does What Women Want In A Man? See what the throne has to say about this. What Women Want In A Man Women wants and needs differ from what men want. By design, what women want in a man is integrity, honor, commitment and communication. Women want men that are good leaders and men that want to stay home. They want a man that has a foundation in God. The main thing is women just want to feel safe. The main reason why most women aren't pick what they truly need and want is social media, what their parents choose and lack of self-love. When a woman never has a male role model (father, mostly) to show them what a real man is, they can be persuaded by the wrong influences. Childhood abuse or psychological abuse keep the cycle going.
