This week, we're taking a look back at some of my favorite moments from the past year—the conversations that stuck with me long after we hit stop on the recording. If you missed them the first time around, now's your chance to catch the highlights! And here's the kicker—every one of the eight segments I pulled together features a mentor from the Techstars Web3 Accelerator that I lead. It's part highlight reel, part "thank you" to these incredible people who help founders navigate the startup grind. A huge shoutout to Mai Santamaria, Patrick Pinschmidt, Hesus Inoma, Rita Martins, Alejandro Gutierrez, Laura Walsh, Philipp Pieper, Timo Lehes, and Arabian Prince from NWA for sharing their wisdom.A number of these guests will also be joining us at the Techstars x Crypto Mondays Ireland event that Hugh McGirr and I are hosting in Dublin on Monday, March 10th at Toner's Pub. If you're around, come reconnect with old friends, meet new builders, investors, and operators across Web2, Web3, and enterprise, and hear from our Techstars Web3 Class of 2025. You might even enjoy a pint of Guinness while you're at it. In this episode of "Success Leaves Clues," hosted by Dustin Plantholt, listeners can expect an enthralling conversation with Arabian Prince, a pioneering musician and dynamic entrepreneur.   Dustin kicks off the discussion by exploring Arabian Prince's views on the enigmatic nature of success. Arabian shares insights from his time teaching at Point Blank Music Academy, where he often confronted the misconception that success and fame are synonymous. He refers to success as a "mystery," emphasizing that true success doesn't always align with public recognition.   The conversation delves into Arabian Prince's approach to evaluating people's potential through their reactions and attitudes. He shares amusing anecdotes, like a playful encounter at Costco, to illustrate how positive engagement can reveal a lot about someone's character.   Dustin probes deeper into Arabian Prince's experiences with mentorship and networking. Arabian reveals his strategy for helping others by understanding their true goals and providing tailored advice, rather than simply opening doors indiscriminately. This thoughtful approach underscores the importance of meaningful connections over superficial networking.   As the discussion progresses, Arabian Prince offers a glimpse into his daily routine, which starts at 4:30 AM with a round of golf to clear his mind. He balances this with his entrepreneurial ventures, including a new clothing brand and a social media platform aimed at enhancing casino experiences.   Listeners will also hear about Arabian Prince's philosophy on hard work and perseverance, illustrated through stories of mentoring young minds at the Solar Beehive center in South LA. His advice to aspiring entrepreneurs is clear: genuine success comes from relentless effort and seeking knowledge directly from the source.   In a candid moment, Arabian Prince discusses his routine of staying ahead of trends, whether in technology or business, and the importance of continual self-reinvention, even at 59. His humorous recounting of being mistaken for a much younger man at Costco adds a personal touch to his narrative.   Finally, Arabian Prince shares his current focus on fashion design and social media influence, admitting the challenges he faces in adapting to the demands of constant content creation. This episode is a treasure trove of wisdom for anyone looking to understand the multifaceted journey of a successful artist and entrepreneur.   Tune in to "Success Leaves Clues" to hear more about Arabian Prince's inspiring story and gain valuable insights into achieving true success.

Jesse Starcher, Robert Cooper and Mark Radulich present their NWA Straight Outta Compton Album Review as part of the MHOD Jukebox!N.W.A (an abbreviation for Niggaz Wit Attitudes) was an American hip hop group formed in Compton, California. They were among the earliest and most significant popularizers and controversial figures of the gangsta rap subgenre, and the group is widely considered one of the greatest and most influential groups in the history of hip hop music.Straight Outta Compton is the debut studio album by American hip hop group N.W.A, which, led by Eazy-E, formed in Los Angeles County's City of Compton in early 1987. Released by his label, Ruthless Records, on August 8, 1988, the album was produced by N.W.A members Dr. Dre, DJ Yella, and Arabian Prince, with lyrics written by N.W.A members Ice Cube and MC Ren along with Ruthless rapper The D.O.C. Not merely depicting Compton's street violence, the lyrics repeatedly threaten to lead it by attacking peers and even police. The track "Fuck tha Police" drew an FBI agent's warning letter, which aided N.W.A's notoriety, with N.W.A calling itself "the world's most dangerous group."We also discuss Metal Injection's 10 Epic Metal Covers of Hip-Hop Classics. All of that plus video reviews of N.W.A. - Straight Outta Compton (Official Music Video), 3RD BASS - POP GOES THE WEASEL and Stuck Mojo - Open Season.Disclaimer: The following may contain offensive language, adult humor, and/or content that some viewers may find offensive – The views and opinions expressed by any one speaker does not explicitly or necessarily reflect or represent those of Mark Radulich or W2M Network.Mark Radulich and his wacky podcast on all the things:https://linktr.ee/markkind76alsosnapchat: markkind76FB Messenger: Mark Radulich LCSWTiktok: @markradulichtwitter: @MarkRadulich

In this day and age where education and learning mean sitting in front of your computer screen and listening to your professor discuss can be very detrimental in the long run because of the lack of practical learning. This is exceptionally unacceptable in the field of medicine, where interactive learning should always be the aim of every educator. This is where Virtual Reality Training comes into play., In a sense, this can be the next step in the path of education we are striving for. Although not the same as experiencing the training or operation yourself, virtual reality can give us a sense of what to expect in various scenarios in the operating room.Platforms of learning like these can also be used to bring about equity in terms of education and healthcare. This means everyone can have access to these materials, bringing down barriers and boundaries so that everyone can enjoy the same privileges.    Memorable Quotes:“There are great lessons to be learned in reviewing past performances of your own and the other people around you.” – Paul Roberts “We found that clinical immersion, meaning being able to just be a fly on the wall and stand in medical procedure really is helpful for students to learn, especially biomedical engineers and medical students, what is going on, what to expect and how can we innovate and help the people, the physicians that we're going to be working for or working with” – Christine KingThe mission of obtaining health equity is so important. It means everyone has access, not just the privileged, not just the ones with big bank accounts, but the inner cities, the communities, the minority, or the general population everyone has access to quality health, to quality education. – Dr. TrinhThey should be able to see what doctors do. On January 6, 2021, William J. Walker was head of the D.C. National Guard. He had buses full of guardsmen in riot gear ready to deploy in case Donald Trump's “Stop the Steal” rally turned dangerous. But when rioters violently stormed the Capitol building, the Guard was nowhere to be found. Walker says he was forced to wait for three hours before his superiors allowed him to send in his troops. “My soldiers were asking me, ‘Sir, what the hell is going on?'” Walker says. “‘Are they watching the news? Are they watching what's going on at the Capitol?' And I had no answer. I don't recall ever being in that position, where I did not have an answer for my soldiers.” Now, almost one year later, Walker is the sergeant-at-arms of the U.S. House of Representatives—the first Black man to ever hold that office. The Experiment's correspondent Tracie Hunte and producer Peter Bresnan visit Walker in his new office at the Capitol to ask him about what happened on January 6, and what he's doing to make sure it never happens again. The patients of the nurse practitioner and aspiring reality star Jeffrey Young say he helped them like nobody else could. Federal prosecutors who charged him in a massive opioid bust say he overprescribed painkillers, often for “money, notoriety, and sexual favors.”  Young’s case provides a rare glimpse into the ways patients wind up addicted to the powerful painkillers fueling the national opioid epidemic. Branding himself “the Rock Doc” in a self-produced reality-TV pilot, Young would wear band T-shirts and blast music as he met with patients; he sometimes broadcast appointments and medical procedures on the live-streaming app Periscope. Off camera, Young allegedly prescribed 1.4 million addictive pills and had sex with female patients. Young was indicted on drug-trafficking charges in April 2019. He pleaded not guilty to the charges, and is currently in jail awaiting trial. “I had a lot of ‘Why on earth?’ questions,” the Atlantic reporter Olga Khazan says. “‘Why would he do this? Why would you go to this doctor? Why didn’t anyone try to put a stop to this?’ I just had a lot of questions about how could this happen.” Further reading: “The Hard-Partying, Rock-Obsessed Nurse at the Center of a Massive Opioid Bust” Be part of The Experiment. Since then, Arabian has been on a journey to blend creative and business moves in music, entertainment, and tech and has brought us some valuable lessons on how to get that right. Turns out being one of the founding members of West Coast rap legends N.W.A. was only the Arabian Prince’s first chapter. Since leaving the group, he’s become a successful producer, tech hardware entrepreneur, and VR enthusiast. Equally at home behind the decks or rubbing elbows with Cisco execs in conference halls, the Arabian Prince is driven by two things: a relentless curiosity and the patience to indulge it. On the Red Bulletin podcast, he talks about what growing up with a tech enthusiast uncle in Compton taught him, how he learned to command a room and how to always, ALWAYS, make sure to get paid. I sat down with JJ Fad and Arabian Prince last year at Pop Montreal for a great conversation. We talked about them NOT being included in the NWA Straight Outta Compton movie LAST YEAR! It's a hot topic now so I wanted to bring this back. Also they are super hip hop legends who deserve respect. Their story is dope, and their show, to this day, is even doper! Go see them if they come to your town.

Guest: Recording Artist Shayne Fair plus other special guests such as Bryan Cole, Colt Chambers, Jordyn Mallory, Kori Jean Olsen, Steven Bloom, Jaida Dreyer, Alyssa Simmons, and Eric Davenport drop by to share their holiday thoughts. Xmas episode. Shayne spent several years in Hollywood. He worked on album packages for everyone from Rod Stewart to Quincy Jones, art directed MTV specials for Weird Al Yankovic, and generally did what was required. Musically, he played on the soundtracks of several motion pictures and in a number of almost there bands in venues as varied as the biker bars of the San Fernando Valley to the Roxy Theatre on Sunset on a bill with Kris Kristofferson, Cher, Graham Nash and Jackson Browne. He established a recording studio, producing his own material as well as that of others including one of the first examples of the Compton Sound for an artist known as The Arabian Prince, a founding member of N.W.A. It became a KDAY staple and has become somewhat of a electro/hip hop classic. He scored a film and worked on the soundtrack of several more with old friend Steve Dorff. He recently put together a band for MTV star Alex Murrell and appeared with her on MTV. Steve and Shayne recently wrote for and produced the new album for former Righteous Brother and Rock & Roll Hall of Fame member, Bill Medley, "Damn Near Righteous." It includes contributions by Phil Everly and Beach Boy Brian Wilson and was released to rave reviews.
