In this episode of Tin Foil Hat, Sam is joined by Dr. Joseph P. Farrell for a deep dive into the idea of a global campaign against Christianity and how this contrasts with the teachings of the early Church Fathers, who emphasized what they saw as the authentic message of Christ, far removed from what many modern preachers present today. They explore the view that contemporary culture has taken a turn toward the satanic, pushing people away from God and nature, and discuss the belief that powerful elites are deliberately degrading architecture, music, comedy, and art as a way to demoralize society. Everyone remembers a gift that left a lasting mark—something so meaningful that the moment surrounding it fades, but the gift itself stays vivid. Keneesha Saunders-Liddie opens with a childhood memory: a pair of beloved boots, cherished and unforgettable. But no gift compares to the one God gave the world on Christmas: the Word made flesh, Jesus Christ dwelling among us. John 1:14 reminds us that God’s greatest gift was not wrapped in paper but in humanity. Jesus entered a world that would reject Him, suffer deeply, and ultimately die for those He came to save. This is the heart of Christmas—God Himself choosing to step into our brokenness. Why this gift matters: Jesus came with unfailing love and faithfulness. He left His heavenly glory to dwell among us. He offered salvation when we were helpless and without hope. He is the gift we didn’t earn, couldn’t repay, and absolutely needed. Christmas can easily become filled with material expectations, pressures, and comparisons. But gratitude shifts our focus. Gratitude reminds us that while earthly gifts fade, the gift of Jesus is eternal. As you look around your home this Christmas—whether the season feels full or humble—remember that the greatest gift has already been given. Jesus came. Jesus rescued. Jesus stayed. And Jesus still saves. Bible Reading:“The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.” – John 1:14 Main Takeaways Gratitude should define our lives because Christ defined love through His coming. Jesus is God’s greatest gift—given with purpose, sacrifice, and unending love. True worship flows from remembering what His arrival cost and what it accomplished. No earthly gift can compare to the salvation, hope, and presence we have in Christ. Let’s Pray Dear Lord, I’m so thankful for the greatest gift You have ever given—the gift of Your Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. Thank You for thinking of me before I even knew how desperately I needed hope. What an incredible gift from a God whose love is limitless and whose generosity never fails. Help me not only to speak words of gratitude but to live a life that reflects it—through obedience, service, and a heart centered on You. Cleanse me from any sin that keeps me from fully treasuring what You’ve done. Renew a right spirit within me and help me to walk in gratitude daily. Thank You for Jesus, for His coming, His sacrifice, and the salvation He secured for me. In Jesus’ name, Amen. How has a mechanistic view of nature led us to kill each other? Why do we reject the good news that Jesus ended the need for guilt-offerings, sin-sacrifices, and fear about the afterlife? In this conversation, Stewart Alsop sits down with Ken Lowry to explore a wide sweep of themes running through Christianity, Protestant vs. Catholic vs. Orthodox traditions, the nature of spirits and telos, theosis and enlightenment, information technology, identity, privacy, sexuality, the New Age “Rainbow Bridge,” paganism, Buddhism, Vedanta, and the unfolding meaning crisis; listeners who want to follow more of Ken's work can find him on his YouTube channel Climbing Mount Sophia and on Twitter under KenLowry8.Check out this GPT we trained on the conversationTimestamps00:00 Christianity's tangled history surfaces as Stewart Alsop and Ken Lowry unpack Luther, indulgences, mediation, and the printing-press information shift.05:00 Luther's encounters with the devil lead into talk of perception, hallucination, and spiritual influence on “main-character” lives.10:00 Protestant vs. Catholic vs. Orthodox worship styles highlight telos, Eucharist, liturgy, embodiment, and teaching as information.15:00 The Church as a living spirit emerges, tied to hierarchy, purpose, and Michael Levin's bioelectric patterns shaping form.20:00 Spirits, goals, Dodgers-as-spirit, and Christ as the highest ordering spirit frame meaning and participation.25:00 Identity, self, soul, privacy, intimacy, and the internet's collapse of boundaries reshape inner life.30:00 New Age, Rainbow Bridge, Hawkins' calibration, truth-testing, and spiritual discernment enter the story.35:00 Stewart's path back to Christianity opens discussion of enlightenment, Protestant legalism, Orthodox theosis, and healing.40:00 Emptiness, relationality, Trinity, and personhood bridge Buddhism and mystical Christianity.45:00 Suffering, desire, higher spirits, and orientation toward the real sharpen the contrast between simulation and reality.50:00 Technology, bodies, AI, and simulated worlds raise questions of telos, meaning, and modern escape.55:00 Neo-paganism, Hindu hierarchy of gods, Vedanta, and the need for a personal God lead toward Jesus as historical revelation.01:00:00 Buddha, enlightenment, theosis, the post-1945 world, Hitler as negative pole, and goodness as purpose close the inquiry.Key InsightsMediation and information shape the Church. Ken Lowry highlights how the printing press didn't just spread ideas—it restructured Christian life by shifting mediation. Once information became accessible, individuals became the “interface” with Christ, fundamentally changing Protestant, Catholic, and Orthodox trajectories and the modern crisis of religious choice. The Protestant–Catholic–Orthodox split hinges on telos. Protestantism orients the service around teaching and information, while Catholic and Orthodox traditions culminate in the Eucharist, embodiment, and liturgy. This difference expresses two visions of what humans are doing in church: receiving ideas or participating in a transformative ritual that shapes the whole person.Spirits, telos, and hierarchy offer a map of reality. Ken frames spirits as real intelligible goals that pull people into coordinated action—seen as clearly in a baseball team as in a nation. Christ is the highest spirit because aiming toward Him properly orders all lower goals, giving a coherent vertical structure to meaning.Identity, privacy, and intimacy have transformed under the internet. The shift from soul → self → identity tracks changes in information technology. The internet collapses boundaries, creating unprecedented exposure while weakening the inherent privacy of intimate realities such as genuine lovemaking, which Ken argues can't be made public without destroying its nature.New Age influences and Hawkins' calibration reflect a search for truth. Stewart's encounters with the Rainbow Bridge world, David Hawkins' muscle-testing epistemology, and the escape from scientistic secularism reveal a cultural hunger for spiritual discernment in the absence of shared metaphysical grounding.Enlightenment and theosis may be the same mountain. Ken suggests that Buddhist enlightenment and Orthodox theosis aim at the same transformative reality: full communion with what is most real. The difference lies in Jesus as the concrete, personal revelation of God, offering a relational path rather than pure negation or emptiness.Secularism is shaped by powerfully negative telos. Ken argues that the modern world orients itself not toward the Good revealed in Christ but away from the Evil revealed in Hitler. Moving away from evil as a primary aim produces confusion, because only a positive vision of the Good can order desires, technology, suffering, and the overwhelming power of modern simulations.

Are you comfortable in your life? This is a little different than asking if you're always happy, or living in some sort of paradise. Comfortable just means you are relatively peaceful and content with your situation. There's nothing wrong with that, but it can be dangerous in a spiritual sense.Jesus calls us to something more.Mark 16:15 says, “He said to them, ‘Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.'”Of the 200 or so nations in the world today, a good portion of them have citizens who have never heard the Gospel. They've never had someone explain to them who Jesus was, is, and will be. Millions have not heard of the eternal sacrifice Jesus made for us on the cross, to pay for the penalty for our sins.Do we even have the right to stay in our comfortable place? Are you called to more? Can you justify not sharing the Good News about Jesus?Your situation is unique, and Jesus knows all of it. If He isn't calling you to a remote place on the globe, maybe it's working with kids in your own church. Whatever opportunity God is giving you to change the world…take it! Let's pray.Lord, we ask you to put more people in our path. Give us more chances to change our world for you. In Jesus' name, amen. Change your shirt, and you can change the world! Save 15% Off your entire purchase of faith-based apparel + gifts at Kerusso.com with code KDD15.

Haman, infamous as the antagonist in the book of Esther, appears as a villainous figure in virtually all varieties of Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. In this “biography” of Haman (Princeton UP, 2025), Dr. Adam Silverstein traces the evolution of this villainous character from the ancient Near East to modern times, drawing on sources in a variety of languages and from diverse genres. Dr. Silverstein considers the evidence for a historical Haman and analyzes the abundance of material that documents what those who read the Bible and the Qur'ān have thought about him over the past two millennia. With this book, Dr. Silverstein offers an essential and original account of the rich diversity and openness of Abrahamic civilizations throughout history. Taking Haman as a case study, Dr. Silverstein guides the reader through diverse intellectual terrains, covering ancient Near Eastern cultures, pre-Islamic Iranian literature, Abrahamic scriptures and their interpretation, late antiquity, Islamic history, and interfaith relations. He shows how the figure of Haman has both united and divided Jewish, Christian, and Muslim communities, who collaborated fruitfully in their efforts to grasp the meaning and significance of their holy books, but who also deployed the “Haman” label polemically against each other. Dr. Silverstein also considers Haman's prebiblical origins, raising the possibility that the book of Esther was receiving and reconfiguring Haman no less than later works were, with Esther's villain taking his place in a long line of reimagined Hamans.Haman: A Biography is the first book-length study to contextualize an Abrahamic character not only within Jewish and Christian traditions but also with reference to the character's prebiblical background and reception in Islamic cultures. This interview was conducted by Dr. Miranda Melcher whose book focuses on post-conflict military integration, understanding treaty negotiation and implementation in civil war contexts, with qualitative analysis of the Angolan and Mozambican civil wars. As more and more people realize that the 2020 election really WAS stolen, that the senile imposter WAS ‘non compos mentis,’ and his handlers knew that when the overthrew the Republic, and that elections in the US have been stolen for YEARS, the reason for the attempt to undermine military order and discipline by the ‘Seditious Six,’ and the transparent attempt to drive Secretary of War Pete Hegseth out of office, so that the intended coup can be completed, becomes undeniable. Still, too many people are utterly clueless about The Coming Battle. We’re there. So, it’s time for another Thought Experiment: Rudderless AmeriKans and the Coming WAR

Episode 167: Only a Few Will Make It: The Terrifying Truth About the Narrow Road

We don't sugarcoat eternity… We expose it. We don't tiptoe around the stakes… We name them: heaven or hell, life or death, victory or regret. We don't bow to comfort, compromise, or cancel culture… We charge into the fire, because Christ is King and the boardroom belongs to Him.Welcome to episode 167 of the C-Suite for Christ podcast, where Paul M. Neuberger pulls zero punches. Today's rally cry is clear: eternity hangs in the balance, and the road is narrow—few will walk it, but only the faithful survive it.Paul M. Neuberger confronts the culture head-on: “Salvation is free, but following Jesus will cost you everything.” He dismantles easy Christianity, exposes lukewarm faith, and calls out a church obsessed with comfort instead of conviction. The cost? Criticism. Rejection. Sacrifice. The truth? Jesus didn't call us to a wide, easy road. He called us to full surrender. The world applauds the crowd—God crowns the courageous. What will you do when YOUR narrow road comes calling? Are you ready to deny yourself, take up your cross, and walk where few dare to go?Buckle up. This one's raw, real, and rooted in the Word.Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. 14 But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it. –Matthew 7:13-14 Episode Highlights:04:56 – Culture says the narrow road is judgmental. Culture says the narrow road is old fashioned. Culture says the narrow road is intolerant. Culture says the narrow road is hateful. Culture believes every road leads to heaven unless you believe that one road doesn't. But Jesus didn't say the road is narrow because he wanted to exclude people. The road is narrow because truth is narrow. The road is narrow because holiness is narrow. The road is narrow because obedience is narrow. The road is narrow because sin can't travel with you. The road is narrow because your will must die on that road. The road is narrow because Christ is the only way. And only has never been a popular word. Today, the wide road dominates American Christianity. It's in prosperity preaching, it's an entertainment preaching. It's in the God wants you be happy movement. 13:27 – The narrow road is narrow because Christ is the gate and Christ is not optional. The narrow road is also marked by fruit. Jesus said this in Matthew 7:20, by their fruits you will know them. That means the narrow road produces visible evidence, repentance, righteousness, compassion, purity, generosity, faithfulness, boldness, courage and obedience. And perhaps the clearest marker of the narrow road is this. It changes you. Not your personality, your identity, not your preferences, your priorities, not your feelings, your foundation. The Narrow road is not something you admire, it's something you walk. And those who walk it are unmistakably different from the world. Not because they're better than anyone else, but because Christ has made them new. 29:59 – You can't stay on the narrow road accidentally. You can't stay on the narrow road passively. You can't stay on the narrow road on spiritual autopilot. You stay on it intentionally or you drift off of it inevitably. So how does the disciple stay anchored? If you like lists, boy, you love this episode because here's another one for you. How do you stay anchored on the narrow road?Connect with Paul M. NeubergerWebsite

In this episode of Thinking Out Loud, Nathan Rittenhouse sits down in Kona, Hawaii with Lindsey from the YWAM Countercultural School of Apologetics to unpack one of the biggest questions facing the modern church: how should Christians navigate influencer culture, online discipleship, and the tension between digital convenience and real spiritual formation? Lindsey and Nathan explore the rise of untrained “Christian influencers,” the responsibility of discernment, the longing for embodied community, the need for multi-generational mentorship, and the subtle dangers of intellectual shortcuts in the age of AI and endless content. Their conversation invites believers into deeper thinking, meaningful connection, and a return to slow, faithful discipleship rooted in the local church. Perfect for Christians hungry for thoughtful apologetics, theology, and wisdom for following Jesus in a digital world.DONATE LINK: https://toltogether.com/donate BOOK A SPEAKER: https://toltogether.com/book-a-speakerJOIN TOL CONNECT: https://toltogether.com/tol-connect TOL Connect is an online forum where TOL listeners can continue the conversation begun on the podcast.

Just like St. Paul stood out by imitating Jesus and sharing the Gospel, we are called to do the same. Fr. Mike also discusses our duality as both body and soul as it relates to Christ's resurrection.
