Austin discuss, they're all centered around cultivating self-reliance, reclaiming autonomy, and strengthening personal choice. This episode covers the ever-creeping hand of government and how we can keep it at bay, decentralization of finance and personal data, living in an oligarchy, and, yes, doing psychedelics with family.

Daniel DiPiazza is the founder of the massively popular Alpha Mentorship and the director of the Profit Paradigm accelerator for agency owners. DiPiazza was once a typical 20-something, logging mind-numbing hours at low-paying jobs in hopes of moving up. Then it hit him: This doesn't have to be my life. Now 32, DiPiazza has launched multiple successful businesses with zero start-up capital - simply by identifying and monetizing his skills into a career and life he loves. Joe Klemczewski is a pioneering health scientist and fitness entrepreneur who academically moved from orthopedic physical therapy to nutrition and then health education as he built his company The Diet Doc, LLC. He later pursued personality and developmental psychology through a masters of fine arts in creative and professional writing. After finishing his MFA in the Department of Writing, Linguistics, and Creative Process at Western Connecticut State University, he studied social psychology at Harvard for two years before transferring to finish a Masters of Social Sciences at Ohio University. Klemczewski's goal for the second half of his career is to help fitness professionals and nutrition coaches integrate a level of social intelligence and awareness into their service models in an effort to help clients achieve more complete, sustainable health transformations. The Black & White Podcast joins his media efforts including The Diet Doc Life Mastery Podcast, Contest Prep University Podcast, and hundreds of interviews and lectures by adding a unique twist. With Black & White already in the planning phase, the racial tensions and riots of 2020 pushed Klemczewski to expedite production and begin with a series of interviews exploring our common values. The Black & White Podcast crashes into the nuances of culture, it challenges binary thinking, labeling, and dividing. The human race is ready to move beyond black and white thinking and the Black & White Podcast is ready to deepen connections. The Diet Doc exists for one reason: your optimal health. We're willing to bet that the best version of you is lean, healthy, strong, athletic, and with a resolute mindset. Remotrepreneur’s Insights Never Stop Developing Your Product – Always have in mind that competitors are doing way more product research than you. Never stop improving your product and be one step ahead. Lifting Your Company Up Requires Hustling – Especially in the beginning stages you have to use all of your powers to get your company out there. Whether it’s SEO, blog posts, websites, reaching out to people, you have to do try it all if you want to see results Don’t Rush Implementing SOPs Right Away – Wait until you’ve tried your system and procedure at least five times until you install it permanently in your company. Key Podcast Milestones 02:55 – Danny’s first steps to remote entrepreneurship 06:51 – Danny’s thoughts on Amazon products 08:15 – How did a near-death experience change Danny’s perspective 10:46 – How did Danny overcome problems in the first three months of starting a business 14:24 – The turning point where Danny removed himself from fulfillment 16:33 – When should you be starting to create the systems and processes 18:55 – How did Danny create and employed his team members 22:47 – The budget for hiring an operations manager 28:35 – Danny’s recommendation for improving communication between teams 36:48 – How Danny manages team meetings 38:48 – The next level for Kenji Top Key Quotes “If you just sit back on your profits and you’re extracting money, enjoying it, then those profits are going to dry up. Competitors come in, product life cycles and Amazon are fairly short unless you have a really unique product or a patent. So, if you’re not constantly doing product research, launch a new product, just doing things to maximize your current product, then it’s not doing to last” “I would recommend hiring a dedicated, at least part-time / 20 hour, general virtual assistant. If you can afford it, you can get something like that $400 a month. Even if your profits are not much more than that, the ability to be able to focus on the things are going to generate more revenue for your business that is going to improve the system so that you can scale the business. Just the fact that you can focus on that, even if you keep your profits not that high above break-even, you are going to be building an asset for yourself that can then scale to a much larger company.” “It’s really important to go through a process at least 5 times by yourself so you really understand the process. That way you’re going to know how the process itself can be improved or what part of the process doesn’t work.” Resources KENJI ROI – Danny’s company Freedom Agency Blueprint – Danny’s courses Socials Danny Carlson Remotepreneurs

He's also the author of the book Rich20Something: Ditch Your Average Job, Start an Epic Business, and Score the Life You Want (which I am fortunate enough to be a part of). You can find him on Instagram @Rich20Something. Daniel and I have been friends for a few years now so this is a fun interview. We talk about a variety of topics including: - How he built his first business that allowed him to quit his job - Why he journals every day - The power of consistency - The difference between working IN your life versus working ON your life - His morning routine - Foundational principles and the philosophy that spiritual teacher Eckhart Tolle and retired Navy SEAL Jocko Willink both live by - His reasons for using DMT My favorite part is when we discuss working on your life on a macro level -- what that looks like and why it's important (starting at around 24:55). We discuss various behaviors I like to think of as meta-habits (although I don't think we ever actually use that term in our conversation). Doing things outside of your comfort zone will help you to develop confidence in yourself and you can use the confidence inside to push forward to new goals. Daniel leaves listeners with the advice, “The way you start is by taking your time back and deciding what is important to you. Have a non-negotiable hour for yourself daily. Start with meditation. It’s forced self-reflection. As you develop the ability to do nothing, you’ll have clarity.” Get the full show notes on the Under30Experiences Blog.

A lot of people look at Millennials as entitled. Others look at them as lazy. The truth is they are just shifting perspective and are incredibly resourceful. Millennials have found ways to solve new problems by taking the knowledge from previous generations and applying the technology available now. The Boomers kept a depression mentality, that you did whatever it takes in order to achieve the “American Dream.” They wanted the white picket fence, 2.5 kids, and would do whatever it took to get that. Even if it meant a job that made them miserable. Today Millennials want both their personal and work lives to be something they're not just happy with, but something they love. Is that really so bad? I don't see it as entitlement, but the progression of humanity. On this episode of Creative Warriors we are joined by Daniel DiPiazza, author of Rich20Something: Ditch Your Average Job, Start an Epic Business, and Score the Life You Want. We discuss what makes Millennials different, the importance of the creative process, and how to find the balance between quality and relatability. Download this episode today to hear what a creative has to do to stay on top in this world! WARRIOR OF CREATIVITY “Focus is a super power these days.” -Daniel DiPiazza Highlights - In creativity, the process is the point - not the outcome. What makes Millennials different is the ability to solve problems. We believe you only get paid for what's hard. It's time to lose the Depression mindset. Every generation has helped to create the world we are in now. Money is an idea and the rules are changing. Cryptocurrency is a new decentralized monetary system. There's hardly a business you can't turn into a scalable income. Be consistent and prolific with the work you put out. It's a perfectly acceptable mindset to want to live well and do what you love. What it’s about Millennials are constantly in the news these days. One day they’re spending too much money on avocado toast, the next they’re not spending enough on dryer sheets and “ruining” the laundry soap industry. The 21st century can be a harsh world for millennials, but Daniel DiPiazza has figured out some key steps to starting and growing an online business you and others will care about. His company, Rich20Something, provides tools and courses that teach millennials (and millennials at heart) how to thrive in a seemingly broken system where it’s hard to get ahead financially and make an impact. In this interview, Daniel talks about the important skills you can gain from freelancing, why everyone needs a creative outlet, and why you should build your own platform.

Daniel DiPiazza is a successful, 29-year-old entrepreneur, who has built a massive, cult-like social networking following by advising other 20 and 30-somethings how to escape average jobs and become self-directed entrepreneurs. Daniel’s website and freshly minted book are titled Rich20Something. But this week, in a surprising interview with host and reputation coach Dean Rotbart, Daniel reveals that his advice actually is not aimed exclusively at those born after 1977. Instead, Daniel sees all of us who own or operate businesses in 2017 as being part of the millennial generation – because, he contends, it is the tools, ideas, and philosophies of the millennial generation that are currently disrupting the business world. [Mark Zuckerberg (Facebook) is 33; Evan Spiegel (Snap) is 27; Kevin Systrom (Instagram) is 33; and Brian Chesky (Airbnb) is 35.] “Millennial,” Daniel says, is a frame of mind, not a birthdate. He knew he needed something else. He wanted more than others were able to give him so he decided to start off on his own. His brand sprung up out of frustration. Michael and Daniel spend time talking about the disadvantages of college. College can be one of the quickest ways to set yourself back a few years and get into massive debt. They seem more like zoo’s these days than places of education. Most kids think at the end of their school career, from kindergarden through college, there is going to be some big prize at the end. Usually there is massive debt and an entry level job waiting for you. Time spent in school should be about actual life skills, like how to manage money, rather than long hand algebra that most will never use. School has turned into a huge business that is more predatory rather than innocent. Michael and Daniel finish the podcast breaking apart social media. When you compare technology and distractions in terms of pre and post internet, social media can be seen as a huge distraction. If you embrace social media as a different way to talk, engage, and communicate then it is easier to see it as a tool rather than a hindrance. At 20 years old, Daniel DiPiazza was comfortable. He wasn't making millions of dollars at his hourly wage job, but he wasn't struggling for money either. Like a lot of people in their early 20s, he just didn't know what he wanted to do. While the life he led was fine, it was a never ending cycle of making enough money to pay the bills, and that was about it. It wasn't exciting, more than anything it was dissatisfying, and after a few years, DiPiazza found himself restless and wanting more out of life. "It got to this point where I showed up at work one day and I was intensely irritated. It wasn't anything specifically that happened that day, it was just a culmination of a few years of doing things that were just ... very annoying. I made a decision that day that I was going to make a change," DiPiazza says. From that point on, it was like a switch had been flipped inside him. Instead of looking at all the things that held him back, DiPiazza began looking for opportunities. If no one was going to give him a job doing what he wanted, the next logical step was to simply find a way to give himself a job where he could follow his passion. It started simply enough, with a little freelancing on the side helping college students prepare for their exams, which soon grew into a self-perpetuating machine that eventually led to owning his own company, Rich20Something. Today DiPiazza is a bestselling author and uses his own experience to inspire others in his generation, teaching them how they too can build their own businesses and start carving that bit of financial freedom and independence for themselves. Not bad for a kid who had no idea what he was doing in his early 20s. In this episode you will learn: The best content marketing tactics to use to promote yourself How to never run out of clients as a freelancer Where to go to start skilling yourself up as an entrepreneur How to come up with and validate your business ideas with a few simple steps Strategies to build up your personal brand and influence & much more!

For any listening who is thinking about starting a business, thinking about doing something on their own because instagram told you to or because you feel like it's going to be easier, just know that you can't have all the good stuff of entrepreneurship without the bad stuff too. It's just not possible. It's just like life. A lot of people are looking at entrepreneurship and saying “I want this result. I want a million dollars. And I'm very ambitious.” The link between those things is entrepreneurship. They're thinking that they have to become entrepreneurs because they want to make money. That's not the only way to make money and it's certainly not the easiest way to make money. You have to be able to do all the stuff that nobody talks about if you want to be an entrepreneur. You don't just start a brand and that makes you money – Daniel DiPiazzaDaniel is the founder of Rich20Something and leader of the tribe. He built the company up from humble beginnings blogging away in his basement. His honest and incredible writing abilities caused his blog to “break the internet” exploding him into the spotlight getting him features in outlets such as Time Magazine, Fortune, Entrepreneur, Business Insider, and Yahoo! Business. He's also the author of Rich 20 Something: Ditch Your Average Job, Start and Epic Business and Score the Life You Want. See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.

Daniel DiPiazza of Rich20Something joins us to talk about doing great work you and how to overcome self doubt.  This is the message you need to level up your confidence.   Daniel is one of my closest friends, so in this casual conversation we talk about what to do when things get harder in life.  We cover everything from meditation, to using motivation from the death of his grandmother to write his second book, to his use of medical marijuana as a performance enhancer.   After we talk about book suggestions, supplements, workouts and diet in our speed round, Daniel drops some sage advice about being patient and staying bored if you want to create your best work.   We get to hear Daniel’s story of escaping Atlanta and buying a Benz in Santa Monica.  (Mixtape coming soon!)    For a living, Daniel helps young people bridge the gap between their education to actually marketing those skills.  If you are a graphic designer, writer, yoga teacher, trainer or anything in between, the Rich20Something Community is an awesome place to learn how to actually make money doing those things.   Daniel is also the proud new acquirer of Under30CEO.com.       If you enjoyed this episode, and would like to support the show please leave us a review here: https://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/live-different-podcast-business/id994018952?mt=2
