If you bought $100 of Chris Guiliano stock in ~2021 and held onto it, you'd be a very rich person right now. The man of many freestyle talents has been on a rapid rise dropping chunks of time like he's 10 years old en route to securing 3 individual spots on the Olympic team last summer in the 50-100-200, the first U.S. man to do so since the legend Matt Biondi. Under the radar, Chris developed at Notre Dame, but following the sanctions on the program is now a Texas Longhorn and already among the all-time top 10 performers at UT after his first dual meets. Scary for what's to come for Chris Guiliano as he says he wants to be the best freestyler in the world. Hard to bet against this guy now. We're bullish
SwimSwam sat down with Olympic champion Chris Guiliano to get his perspective on a whirlwind of a year. Guiliano discusses in detail the investigation that ultimately landed the Notre Dame men's swimming a 1-year suspension as well as the ripple effects of that suspension, which saw Guiliano land in Texas under Bob Bowman.
This week on the SwimSwam Breakdown, we discuss Gretchen Walsh becoming an All-Time great swimmer, Chris Guiliano & Caspar Corbeau's NCAA debuts with new teams, and if Swimming is a bad product.
Emperors! Gladiators! Nearly 1000 extras! We talked to Jana Carboni (makeup designer) and hair designer Guiliano Mariano about their immense work on Ridley Scott's Gladiator II. How they were inspired by Fellini's Satyricon and the Sex Pistols. Battling the heat and the elements to get Paul Mescal's gladiator tan and body paint just right. Denzel's manicured hands and much more.

Thanks for tuning in today! Every once and a while it's fun to take a break from interviewing and just have a conversation between Daniel and our producer and editor Grant — musing, rambling, and recounting our recent adventures and shenanigans. If you're new to the show, maybe go back an episode to hear our typical format. Otherwise, behold the obnoxious characters who bring you these shows each week, as they sound when not speaking to their betters. Here in Maine, we are beginning the descent into winter. We're pretty excited about that. We're gonna get some much-needed catch-up time at home, the ice fishing season will start soon, and we can put the finishing touches on Season 3 of the WildFed TV show before it goes to air. We still have a little bit of filming left for Season 3 of WildFed, and everything is on track for a Season 4 — so if all goes as planned we'll jump right into filming again this coming spring! We still have time for your TV episode ideas, so please write us at info@wild-fed.com or on our social media to plant the seeds of future episodes you'd like to see, host, or even be a part of. In the meantime, we just want to thank you again for all your support! It means the world to us to have such a wonderful audience for the content we produce. So thank you for tuning in here for the podcast, and on the Outdoor Channel or Amazon Prime for the TV show. And of course, we'll be back next week with another interview — covering the kinds of wild food and ecological literacy topics we love to feature here. Katie Guiliano is an artist and the founder of Hosanna Revival, a company that exists to excite people about engaging in scripture by creating beautiful and intentional tools for their lives. Katie's relationship with Jesus began after she graduated high school and truly flourished, along with her business idea, in Spain while reading her plain black covered, bilingual Bible. What started in a secret Etsy shop with just Katie in 2015 is now well-known globally and is made possible because of a team of 13 dedicated artists and business-minded people, plus two sweet dogs. In this episode, Katie shares about the very humble beginnings of Hosanna Revival and what spurred her to create and build a business simultaneously. Hear why she and the Hosanna team pray over every product before it leaves their hands, how she believes art and creativity will always point us back to Jesus, and why she felt led to paint the cover of a Bible in the first place. It's always fun for Daniel to sit down with his good friend — WildFed producer and cinematographer Grant Guiliano — to podcast without a guest. Just them, talking behind the scenes. Daniel and Grant are currently filming Season 3 of the WildFed TV show for Outdoor Channel, which means they're on the road a lot — flying, driving, boating, hunting, fishing, and foraging, and, of course, filming it all. It's a lot of hotels, AirBnBs, and time away from home. One constant is the time they end up spending together, so there's always a lot to talk about when they sit down to record a show like this one. Our team has just come off of a really exciting trip out to Maryland, where we did some offshore fishing and some inland pawpaw foraging, and so it was fun to recap those experiences. Currently, we're in the midst of filming an archery deer hunt on an island off the coast of Maine, and then we'll have 2 more episodes to make to finish out our season! Those episodes will all go live in just a few more months, so stay tuned for that! In the meantime, if there are any topics you'd like to hear us discuss or guests you'd like to hear on the show, write us at info@wild-fed.com or hit us up on any of our social media feeds. We always love hearing from you! Thanks for all your incredible support and know we are hard at work creating another great season of the WildFed TV show for you! Hey! Welcome back to another episode of Faith & Friends! Today we are chatting with the founder of HOSANNA REVIVAL, Katie Guiliano!"If Christians love this book so much, then why are they all so ugly?" -Katie ABOUT HOSANA REVIVAL: In 2015 while studying in Spain, our founder Katie had the idea to re-bind and paint her bilingual Bible. It was plain black — she wanted her Bible to be beautiful and personal, reflecting the way the words on the inside made her feel. Katie immediately saw the ministry that this could become. She spent the next few weeks trying out different materials and processes- creating what is now Hosanna Revival. In this episode you will hear about:-how Katie came to Christ as the FIRST Christian in her family -how Hosanna Revival began as Katie was in college -how to humbly walk in Gods calling for your life-how to apply and soak in Gods word even in a dry season-word for word vs. thought for thought translations I pray this episode pointed you to Gods word and sparked your heart to dive into Scripture more and more! You are so loved. -GB
This week on the Daughter of Delight Podcast, Hosanna Revival Founder Katie Giullanio joins Elle for a beautiful discussion on glory, honor and worship before the Lord— in both everyday life and the workplace. Today Daniel's sitting down with his good friend, WildFed Cinematographer and Producer Grant Guiliano to talk a bit about what we've been up to this year and to give you a behind-the-scenes look at our upcoming third season of the WildFed TV show on Outdoor Channel. We're currently filming ten new episodes that'll debut this coming winter, so we've been in the woods and on the water, but also in the air and on the road too. Grant and Daniel don't get to do too many shows like this one, just catching up and sharing what we've been working on, so this was a lot of fun for them. We hope you enjoy it, and we hope that you — like us — are having a great season too! View full show notes, including links to resources from this episode here: https://www.wild-fed.com/podcast/140

Episode 5 - Steven Giuliano - World class coach based in Asia, Huge social media and online presence, Making a big name for himself! A great listen
Today's episode was a lot of fun to record, since it's rare that Grant Guiliano — co-producer of this podcast and co-creator of the WildFed television series — and Daniel sit down to just record a show together. There's so many fun stories and interesting reflections on the things we learn and encounter during — and outside of — those productions — and we thought it would be fun to share some of that with you today! If you're just tuning in for the first time, this episode isn't our typical content, since we're usually interviewing wild food experts, wildlife biologists, ecologists, authors, chefs, or noteworthy hunters, anglers, and foragers. And we'll be back to that content next week. But for now, we hope you'll enjoy this more candid, behind the scenes conversation between Daniel and Grant. For this month we have split the roundup into two parts. These are unusual times and rather than the expected 5 or 10 minute briefing from colleagues, small lodge owners and managers around the world, we have entered into some deeper conversations. In this episode we explore conservation in Indian National Parks with Jehan from Shergarh Tented Camp and catch up with developments in the Pantanal wetlands of Brazil with Guiliano from Aymara Lodge. We'll release the second part of the monthly roundup tomorrow to keep some consistency. You may have noticed that we skipped a week last week after 3 months of weekly episodes. Coronavirus has allowed us to gain a good foothold of podcasts but each episode is of course considerable work and we now plan to continue twice monthly. Welcome to the Wildlife & Wilderness Travel & Safaris show, the world's first and only podcast on wildlife safaris worldwide and sustainable tourism. This show's for everyone interested in eco-tourism, travel in the natural world and adventures to our planet's wild places. I'm your host, Dr. Steve Banner, biologist and Director of the travel company, Wildlife & Wilderness, providing high quality holiday experiences to thousands of clients for almost 25 years. In this episode we discuss the ongoing problems of poaching for bush meat in Kanha National Park, India. This tiger reserve is popular for tiger safaris but the pandemic has meant increased pressure on the park. We discuss tolerance and conflicts and how the conservation model in India is organised. We also find out about the two tusker elephants that arrived last month in the national park. In the northern Pantanal of Brazil camera traps are throwing more light on the wildlife of this region. Here another giant armadillo has been discovered, there are numerous tapir and almost certainly more jaguars than giant anteaters. Four different ocelots have also been identified. We talk of other elusive cats too plus some mysterious camera trap captures of possible hunters on the land, perhaps a reflection of similar happenings to those in India. In the second part we will catch up with Fredrik in Swedish Lapland and take a look into Okavango Delta and other regions of Botswana. The one where Katie and I talk about the humble beginnings of Hosanna Revival in her college house when she was 20 all the way to today where Hosanna Revival is a multi-million dollar business providing Bibles and tools for women everywhere to deepen their relationship with Jesus. Man, did I love talking to Katie, a fellow Enneagram 3. You guys are going to love this one. Katie has had one mission in mind since since launching her creative brand four years ago: excite women to engage in Scripture by creating beautiful and intentional tools for their lives. By paving the way in the market for beautiful Bibles and other faith based tools, Hosanna Revival has become a well-known Christian brand among young women. As the brand has grown, Katie is so honored to continue providing truth and encouragement to the Hosanna Revival community through products, social media platforms, and events. The story of Hosanna Revival’s growth is laced with big risks, big dreams, and a very faithful God. It all began when Katie decided to paint her plain, black, bilingual Bible in 2015. She wanted the cover to reflect the beauty she knew was on the inside of this timeless book. She immediately saw the business and ministry that this could become, and launched a small online shop. The Lord provided her with all that she needed to grow her unique idea into a thriving business. Katie is passionate about studying the Bible and has seen it transform her relationship with Christ. She deeply desires to see that same passion come alive in other women. Community has become an important aspect of Hosanna Revival as thousands of women learn how to dig deeper into the Word and encourage one another to do the same. Katie has learned so much through owning her own creative business, leading a team, and seeking to follow God. She’s eager to help other creators do the same in their ministries, businesses, and callings. Keeping Christ the center of her business, relationships, marriage, and ministry has always been her number one priority-- she credits all of the Glory to God for guiding each and every step of the journey. Check out Hosanna Revival's website!

“What if I could excite other women about reading their Bible and engaging with scripture simply by making the cover beautiful?” That question led Katie Guiliano to starting her now wildly successful business Hosanna Revival from her college dorm room. Hosanna Revival sells products in shops across the country (including major retailer, Altar'd State), has surpassed 100K followers on Instagram and supports a growing team. From the outside, Katie's success looks glamorous. From the inside, she's having a whole lot of fun. In this episode, Katie talks about staying in check to make sure Hosanna Revival finds success only alongside Jesus and grows according to God's will. Kaci and Katie talk all about the early days of Hosanna Revival, what it has looked like to take risks in her business, getting women excited about engaging with scripture and intentional gifting. 3 Simple Strategies to Get More People in Your Restaurant with Marcus Guiliano - Chef on a Mission
For this week’s episode, we sat down with Hannah Puckett: digital strategist, ocean advocate, citizen scientist, and everything in between. Growing up, Hannah was drawn to the outdoors. She spent her summers camping with her family and road tripping across the country. With a passion for writing and research, she studied advertising at the University of Texas at Austin and graduated with a masters degree in strategic business communications. After some self reflection, at age 25, she decided to trade in her spreadsheets for a rubber rain suit, cubicle for the Alaskan Wilderness, thus embarking on a journey to explore her unusual passion for oysters. Hannah's Resources: Woofing Program: World Wide Opportunities on Organic Farms Wwoof costs $40/year to join and allows you to connect with more than 2,000 farms across the USA. Of those 2,000 , Hannah was able to find one oyster farm. And that is how she met Dave. Find out more at wwoofusa.org Oyster Eating: Hannah jokes that the number of "oyster celebrities" can probably be counted on one hand. But blogger and self-proclaimed oyster sommelier, Julie Qui would be included. Link to blog: Rowan Jacobsen's Rules of Oyster Eating (and Julie Qiu's In a Half Shell Blog) Books: Lastly, Hannah shared some good reads that were important to her journey. Below are her reflections. OYSTER 101 : Meet Paris Oyster: A Love Affair with the Perfect Food by Mireille Guiliano, 2014 "Bite sized and delighful from start to finish; when reading Paris Oyster, it's as if you're at the table with Guiliano sipping on Muscudet and Belons as she tells you everything you'd want to know about how to enjoy oysters like the French... a wonderful gift for oyster lovers, both novice and expert." A Geography of Oysters: The Connoisseur's Guide to Oyster Eating in North America by Rowan Jacobsen, 2008 "The unofficial American Oyster Eater's Field Guide, as told by a guy who literally went there and tried that. It's a comprehensive index of oyster varieties unique to North America's East, West, and Gulf Coasts, and an almanac of noteworthy farms and oyster bars that serve them. Jacobsen is inspirational to me personally as a curious person who has turned interests into income... who also dabbles at the intersections of food, cultures, and the environment." The Big Oyster: History on the Half Shell by Mark Kurlansky, 2007 "Oyster culture is more intertwined to the story of The United States than I ever knew. For history nerds, this book is as informative as it is a blast to read, all about the growth of New York City as told via the rise and fall of it's once bountiful, world-famous oyster beds." Inspiration for Living Non-Traditionally: Vagabonding: An Uncommon Guide to the Art of Long-term World Travel by Rolf Potts, 2003 "Living Your Best Life Out of a Bag 101: This book is choke full of resources, tips, and words of wisdom from fellow slow travelers, and how to enjoy and sustain a life on the move." Let My People Go Surfing: The Education of a Reluctant Businessman by Yvon Chouinard, 2006 "Chouinard's memoir is, first and foremost, a very cool story, but it was inspirational to read his reflections on how running a business based on values takes guts, community, and time. And encouraged me not to rush the journey... the dude is 79 years old and is still playing outside, doing awesome work for the world." The Kon Tiki Expedition: Across the Pacific by Raft by Thor Heyerdahl, 1948 "In 1947, five Norwegian dudes sailed a wooden raft across the Pacific to prove the plausibility that cultures of the South Pacific may be descendants of South America. The academic community said it was impossible, that they were insane, to even try was a death wish... and with the help of SO MANY PEOPLE (private loans by fellow 1920's explorers, South American authorities, the US Army)... they did it. Kon Tiki is Heyerdahl's memoir of that expedition." More Good Reads: Self Reliance, Ralph Waldo Emerson, 1841 "Emerson argues the imperative and importance of thinking for one's self, of questioning accepted dogma, and resisting hoard mentality, and living true to the intrinsic truth of the individual. Read it in chunks over the course of several days. It's dense, but each line packs a philosophical punch." Women Who Did: Stories by Men and Women 1890-1914 by various authors, edited by Angelique Richardson, 2006 "One of my favorite reads of 2017. A collection of stories told by women and men from a time when the limits of what it means to be 'woman' were bursting at the seams. Each author paints their unique gaze of what it was like to be or to witness a modern woman becoming herself at the turn of the 20th century."
I'm going to start offering my thoughts on something an owner said during an interview that struck and chord with me and stood out the next day as my biggest takeaway. These will be short, concise episodes. Enjoy...

I really don't know where to start. The revolving door at the Whie House has had another busy week. In the 80's I worked for the largest Oil company in Canada, Fridays were the layoff day of the week. The joke was, if your name plate on your door was there Fiday morning, you were safe for another week! After a teribble start one wonders if Rudy G can beat The Mooch in longevity. I think rudy is on day 4, so another full week and Mooch's record is safe
