Compartimos viaje con Albert Carol y David Ferré. En este episodio hablaremos del Santuario de Notre Damde de Marceille en Limoux (Aude), de su fuente milagrosa y su simbologia alquimica. El santuario se construyó sobre un antiguo pozo celta, como lo atestigua un grabado de 1850. En la capilla de la Santa Cruz, una placa de hierro fundido en el suelo marca la ubicación del antiguo pozo, que ostentaba la inscripción en latín: «Este pozo es un manantial cuyas aguas producen salud». El enfermo que bebe esta agua con fe queda curado. » Una fuente milagrosa citada por BOUDET en el VLC como capaz de curar enfermedades oculares existe en la "Vía Sacra", la Vía Sagrada que desciende a la izquierda de la iglesia: "A poca distancia, hacia lo alto de la rampa bordeada de árboles verdes que conduce al santuario, una fuente deja caer su agua límpida gota a gota en una pila de mármol". Lleva una inscripción en latín: “Mille Mali Species Virgo Levavit Aqua”, “La Virgen ha aliviado, con el agua, mil tipos de males”…Después nos desplazamos a 10 km sur para hablar de la doble cruz Roja de la iglesia de Serrés, dicen origen Templario.La iglesia de Saint-Pierre-aux-Liens posee un bello ábside semicircular con cul-de-four, así como un coro con bóveda de cañón de época románica, donde se pueden contemplar pinturas del siglo XIII. En lo alto del arco del coro de la iglesia está pintada una doble cruz de color ocre. Las dos cruces están unidas por sus ramas horizontales. Una de las cruces está rematada por una pequeña filacteria que lleva el habitual "INRI". El otro tiene el mismo soporte…¡pero vacío! Además, esta cruz se encuentra delante de la anterior y de mayor tamaño. ¿Qué parece indicar la doble cruz de la iglesia de Serres , una con INRI y la otra sin? 2 crucificados y/o 2 tumbas de las cuales sólo 1 está asociada al INRI. ¿Jesús y Barrabás?. Una cruz templaria con astil aparece en la "Puerta de los Muertos" del muro norte de la iglesia de Serres ; Otra se encuentra en un muro al suroeste y se dice que hay una tercera cruz templaria. Una cruz similar también está grabada en el frontón de la puerta de la capilla del castillo de Serres. Seguiremos la ruta más al sur entre Rennes Les Bains y Bugarach desde la carretera se puede apreciar un formación rocosa llamada el Pás de la Roca:Jano, el dios latino de la iniciación en los misterios, tenía las llaves de las «puertas solsticiales», es decir, las fases ascendentes y descendentes del ciclo anual. Se trata respectivamente de la «Puerta de los Dioses» y de la «Puerta de los Hombres», que dan acceso a los «dos caminos» de los que Jano es el «amo»: el camino de los «ancestros» y el de los «dioses». En el Cromleck de Rennes-les-Bains,la "Porte des Hommes" corresponde al Pas de la Roque. Estamuralla megalíticaes visible al borde de la carretera de Rennes-le-Château a Rennes-les-Bains/Bugarach. La "Puerta de los Hombres" simboliza reencarnaciones y renacimientos. El eje del mundo es, en el espacio, el eje de los polos. Con el tiempo, es el símbolo muy rico del eje del solsticio . Según la leyenda, Jano, el dios latino de la iniciación en los misterios, poseía las llaves de las puertas del solsticio , es decir, de las fases ascendentes y descendentes del ciclo anual. Se trata respectivamente de la Puerta de los Dioses, que corresponde al San Juan invernal y al renacimiento del sol, en el signo de Capricornio; y la Porte des Hommes, que corresponde al Saint-Jean de verano y a la muerte cíclica del sol, en el signo de Cáncer.Viniendo desde La Valdieu se cruza el Pas de la Roque; Podemos observar que un rayo de luz se filtra a través de una piedra perforada entre las 11 y las 12 horas. Estas dos puertas siguen siendo Janua coeli y Janua inferni , puertas del infierno y del cielo. Notaremos también la analogía entre Jano y San Juan . Esto demuestra que los símbolos más antiguos de la Tradición persisten en todas las culturas y religiones. Jean d'Argoun, médium y ufólogo, nos guía al sur de Francia, donde pronto aparecerá un misterioso mesías venido del espacio. El gran ocultista y alumno de Papus, de Rignies, se mudó en los años 80 al dominio Domaine de la Salz, cerca de la fuente del río Salz, en la zona de Bugarach. Los problemas de De Rignies comenzaron cuando empezó a escuchar sonidos de "maquinaria no identificada" debajo del piso del dominio. Posteriormente, De Rignies grabó estos misteriosos ruidos en una grabadora analógica y afirmó que eran la prueba viviente de actividad extraterrestre en la zona. Las grabaciones de De Rignies incluso fueron reproducidas en la televisión nacional francesa, lo que arraigó la idea de la actividad OVNI subterránea de Bugarach en la mente popular. Espero tus comentarios en la comunidad de Telegram: https://t.me/cienciaoficcion [Música] Buenos días, viernes 13 de septiembre y hoy, siendo la primera semana de volver al gimnasio, hemos llegado a la conclusión en casa que mejor dos días, que tres y quizás en el futuro cuatro, mejor dos la primera semana, no sea que pase algo que no tenga que pasar, que uno ya va teniendo una edad. Y hoy quiero hablar de mi vuelta al analógico en formato fotografía. Obviamente en formato vídeo, no, porque no soy Cristopher Nolan y quiero contar un poquito la historia de por qué pienso que al final ha sido algo que yo creo que puede ser natural como volver a tener ese tipo de hobby. Y digo volver, pero quizás estoy abusando el término volver, porque realmente coger yo una cámara analógica y hacer fotografía de costumbre, la verdad es que nunca lo he hecho. Sí que tengo una instax de Fuji, de estas que pues que descupen la película por arriba y que no hay que mover, no señores ni señoras, no hay que mover para que se revele, es mejor dejarla y quizás lo peor que puedes hacer es moverla, aparte de cortar la pizarla y tirarla a la basura, así que no, no se mueve y encima ahora hay un filtro de Instagram que para más Inri, para que se ve una foto, tienes que moverla, o sea estamos postergando esa manera de hacer las cosas más, pero bueno, el caso es que esa es la cámara analógica que yo tenía, así que volver a la analógico no creo que sea la manera de decirlo, pero bueno, el caso es que os cuento un poco la historia, como ya he contado alguna vez hace muchos meses que me puse a estudiar de forma online haciendo un curso bastante pros, corrección de color, color grading, corrección de color, gradación de color, no son lo mismo, pero para que lo que lo conozca en español, todos los cursos estos los he hecho en inglés, así que tengo ese problema de haber adquiridos el lenguaje técnico y muchas cosas no sé ni traducirlas, pero bueno, el etanolaje digital en este caso, que he estado haciendo muchos cursos para en algún futuro, o presente cuando llegue, si puedo hacer algún trabajillo y que me paguen por él, en el que me mandan un vídeo, esta gente suele empezar con vídeos musicales que te manden un vídeo musical y entonces lo que haces es todos los clips, haces la misma corrección de color, lo que te diga el cliente. Pues oye, quiero que parezca de esta manera más cálido o más cálido o más frío, o que quiero que las sombras tengan este tipo de color o que las luces parezca que hagan como si fuera película antigua, o quiero que tenga grano, o quiero que tenga efectos de halo como película antigua, y aquí estoy metiendo ya cosas que se suelen pedir mucho y es que al final el vídeo analógico y o sea, perdón, el vídeo digital y la fotografía digital pues tienen un look digital que muchas veces pueden o gustar y entonces lo que se hace muchas veces en la corrección de color es aplicar ciertas cosas para que pierda ese sobremitidez que tienes, ese over-sarpening, el tener las las… esto en un móvil cuando echas una foto a un campo en el que se ve Césped se puede ver, que el borde está muy marcado de Césped, no se ve natural, no se ve bonito, entonces pues es algo que cuando tú haces corrección de color se te mete mucho en el cuerpo que es el aprender y el ver por qué la película se vea de aquella manera, porque la película tiene esa característica, porque la película o cuando luego te piden que hagas algo en vídeo quieren que las luces sean un poco más cálidas y que las sombras sean un poco más frías porque son lo que le pasa a la Codak 2383 que es donde sean impresos un montón de películas para su proyección como el "Sinodos anillos" bueno cualquier cosa que se os pueda imaginar que sea de la época analógica seguramente esta impresa en esa película, entonces todo eso pues va calando y vas diciendo oye pues que este look analógico me gusta,

Mark 15:22-39. Roman crucifixion; meaning of INRI; Crucifixion in Old Testament prophecy; Sacrifice of Jesus. This study is an in depth look at Jesus' crucifixion on Golgotha (Calvary). Como es bien sabido en el ámbito de la tradición cristiana exotérica, el acrónimo INRI significa "Iesus Nazarenus, Rex Iudaeorum", es decir "Jesús de Nazaret, Rey de los Judíos". Según cuentan las crónicas bíblicas, esta inscripción fue colocada por los romanos en la cruz donde Jesús fue crucificado. Desde esta perspectiva, INRI simboliza no solamente la acusación contra Jesús por parte de las autoridades, sino también la ironía de esta declaración, una burla explícita a Jesús el Cristo y sus seguidores, los cristianos creen que realmente es una verdad profética de su realeza espiritual y divina. Sin embargo, además de esta interpretación muy conocida y aceptada por la ortodoxia, existen otras formas de entender este acrónimo INRI. Justo allí debemos descubrir que la grandeza de su reino no es el poder según el mundo, sino el amor de Dios, un amor capaz de alcanzar y restaurar todas las cosas.

Rey del Universo 1) La burla: Todos, hasta Jesús, pasamos un momento de nuestra vida bajo la burla y la humillación. Estas cosas son las que nos deben fortalecer y dar aire para luchar. Hoy vivimos en un mundo en donde nos burlamos de todo, ridiculizamos. Para qué te voy a decir de la Iglesia, hasta nos trapean, se abusan. Pero también en la cotidianeidad vivimos esos momentos de burla y nosotros también la generamos muchas veces. Tenemos que ser damas y caballeros. Seamos amables en nuestro trato. En este domingo te propongo que pienses cómo es tu trato con los que te encuentras. ¿Sos caballero? ¿Sos una dama? ¿Ninguneás? ¿Te crees superior? ¿Sos respetuoso? 2) INRI-Jesús Nazareno Rey de los judíos: Eso significa INRI. En el momento más doloroso de su vida tiene marcada su identidad. Vos en tus momentos más duros y de tristeza no te olvides nunca quién sos. Esa es la clave para salir del dolor más duro y más difícil. Recordá quién sos vos. No dejes que nadie te quite tu identidad y tu autenticidad. Recordá siempre para qué estás y quién sos en esta vida. También es bueno tener alguien que esté a tu lado y te lo recuerde. Yo te pongo a vos un cartel hoy: “sos lo más valioso de Dios”. 3) La Gloria: Es tan inmenso el amor de Dios que hasta un ladrón público tiene ticket para entrar al cielo. El poder de Dios se llama “misericordia”, no sumisión. Hasta el último instante Dios busca tu salvación. JESÚS ES REY y su reinado es misericordia. Vos y yo somos de su propiedad. Odd as this sounds, the scourging (v.1ff) appears to be a fresh strategy to set Jesus free (see v.12).Note: Jesus' crown (vv.2-3) may well have been made from the thorns of the date palm. These were up to 12 inches long. The radiate crown would have made Jesus look like a sun-god. This feature is common to Greco-Roman coinage.The Romans had three degrees of corporal punishment:Fustigatio (beating) -- the lightest punishment.Flagellatio (flogging) -- more severe.Verberatio (scourging) -- the most severe, often leading to death. This was the punishment Christ endured.The crown of thorns is painfully placed on his head, and a purple robe draped over him -- a mockery of his kingship (v.2).Further, he is slapped in the face.Jesus suffers grievous bodily injury. Everyone who claims to be a king sets himself against the emperor.”The words "Son of God" (v.7) seem to resonate with Pilate, and frighten him (v.8).Pilate takes Jesus back into the Praetorium (probably the Fortress Antonia). Pilate resumes his interrogation of Jesus, who does not reply.Pilate reminds Jesus who is in charge (v.10-11), and yet Jesus counters that there is a higher authority.Who is the one guilty of "greater sin"? Caiaphas, the high priest, seems the most likely candidate.From here on, Pilate even more earnestly desires to free Jesus (v.12).13 When Pilate heard these words, he brought Jesus outside and sat on the judge's bench at a place called The Stone Pavement, or in Hebrew Gabbatha. 14 Now it was the day of Preparation for the Passover; and it was about noon. He said to the Jews, “Here is your King!” 15 They cried out, “Away with him! Away with him! Crucify him!” Pilate asked them, “Shall I crucify your King?” The chief priests answered, “We have no king but the emperor.” 16 Then he handed him over to them to be crucified.The Jews push back.Since Jesus pretends to be the King of Israel, he is a political threat to Rome.If Pilate frees Jesus, he is not a "friend of Caesar."This is a technical term. To be a "friend of Caesar" -- an accolade Pilate may already have received -- is an honor.The emperor, Tiberius (14-37 AD) had become suspicious. One did not want to lose his trust.To lose the status of "Friend of Caesar" could be not only shameful, but dangerous. The Jews are threatening the governor.Here is supreme irony! The highest Roman official in the land is accused of lack of loyalty to Rome by a people who detest Rome, and can't wait to be free of its control (v.12).Pilate sits on his judgment seat (v.13) at Gabbatha, or Lithostrotos. For a picture, click here.Pilate's attitude is not quite the same as in verses 4-6. There is no hint of ridicule. The Jews would have been awaiting the pronouncement of the sentence against Jesus. Instead...Pilate, pronounces, "Behold, your king!" He knows this will gall the priests.And yet it seems Jesus is the one sitting in the judgment seat, while Pilate is in the hot seat!It is the sixth hour -- very early in the morning.In a few hours the slaughter of the Passover lambs will begin.The Jews will stop working.All leaven (yeast) will be taken out of the houses and burned.Jesus is the Lamb of God (John 1:29,36). For the Passover background, read Exodus 12.The response, "We have no king but Caesar" (v.15) is an implicit abandonment of the messianic hope.Once again, the irony is biting."[The threat] broke down Pilate's resistance. His fear of the sinister and suspicious emperor was even greater than his awe of the mysterious personality of the Accused; his own safety appeared to him more important than a passing triumph over the accusers who were unsympathetic to him" (Blinzler, Der Prozess Jesus, 338).And so Pilate finally turns Jesus over to be crucified (v.16).From verse 16 onward, many elements of the synoptic tradition are absent: the mocking; the darkness; the cry of dereliction (Mark 15:34); the tearing of the temple curtain; the opening of the graves (Matthew 27:52); and the centurion's confession.At the same time, John includes details not in Matthew, Mark, or Luke: the inscription; the quotations in 19:24,28-29,36-37; the address to his mother; and the piercing of Jesus' side.So they took Jesus; 17 and carrying the cross by himself, he went out to what is called The Place of the Skull, which in Hebrew is called Golgotha. 18 There they crucified him, and with him two others, one on either side, with Jesus between them. 19 Pilate also had an inscription written and put on the cross. It read, “Jesus of Nazareth, the King of the Jews.” Jesus carries his own cross and is crucified at Golgotha, the Place of the Skull (v.17).Plutarch records, "Each criminal as part of his punishment carries his cross on his back" (The Divine Vengeance, 554 A-B).There is also a pertinent Jewish saying: "As one bears the cross on one's shoulders," Isaac carried the wood (Gen. Rab. 56.4, on Genesis 22:6). The symbolism of the sacrifice of Isaac is in the background."There they crucified him" (v.18).The 2nd century Gnostic Basilides said Simon died on cross instead of Jesus (Nag Hammadi documents).This idea (the substitute) seems to have influenced Muhammad.The inscription above states his crime, though the wording is remarkable (v.19). What brevity! No macabre or sombre obsession with the gory details of the passion. The paucity of detail is striking.He is crucified between two criminals. See Isaiah 53:12.20 Many of the Jews read this inscription, because the place where Jesus was crucified was near the city; and it was written in Hebrew, in Latin, and in Greek. 21 Then the chief priests of the Jews said to Pilate, “Do not write, ‘The King of the Jews,' but, ‘This man said, I am King of the Jews.'” 22 Pilate answered, “What I have written I have written.” The Jewish leaders ask Pilate to change the placard so that it read "... I am Jesus the Nazarene, the King of the Jews."Pilate refuses. "What I have written, I have written," responds Pilate (v.22).The inscription could have easily been altered (v.21) by adding a single word: eimí  (Greek), sum (Latin), or 'aní (Hebrew).This is his last act of revenge on the chief priests.The inscription in Latin would have read Iesous Nazarenos Rex Iudaeorum, which in Anglican/ Catholic churches is often abbreviated to INRI.And yet this is supreme irony: the two men most responsible for the death of Jesus publicly proclaim his Messiahship!Caiaphas unwittingly prophesied that Jesus was the means of redemption for Israel and the nation (11:49-50).Pilate proclaimed that Jesus was the King of Israel.Thought questions:Have I ever sacrificed principle for expedience? Is there a little of Pilate in me?Was there another way? Why do I think Jesus had to die -- as opposed to God simply forgiving every sincere person?The Christian God became flesh. How is this different from the capricious gods of Hinduism, the aloof Allah of the Muslims, or the serenely detached Buddha?Am I still moved by the Crucifixion?Reading over Psalm 22 and Psalm 69, can I find the verses that would have been especially meaningful to the early disciples?

Christ is the Fire of the Fire, the Flame of the Flame, the Astral Sign of Fire. The Mystery of Christ is defined on the Cross of the Martyr of Calvary, with just one word consisting of four letters: INRI. Ignis Natura Renovatur Integram. Fire Incessantly Renews Nature. The Advent of Christ in the heart of man, radically transforms us. Christ is the SOLAR LOGOS, perfect Multiple Unity. Christ is the life which throbs in the entire universe, is what is, what has always been and what will always be. Much have been said about the Cosmic Drama; undoubtedly, this drama is formed of the four gospels. We have been told that the Cosmic Drama was brought to the earth by the Elohim; the Great Lord of Atlantis performed that drama in flesh and bone. The Great KABIR Jesus also had to perform the same Drama publicly in the Holy Land. Even if Christ is born a thousand times in Bethlehem, it is of no use at all if he is not born in our heart too. Even if he had died and risen from the dead on the third day, that is of no use if he does not die and resurrect in ourselves too. To try to discover the fire’s nature and essence, is to try to discover God whose real presence has always been revealed under igneous appearance. The burning bush (Exodus III, 2) and the conflagration in Sinai, as a result of the conferring of the Decalogue (Exodus XIX, 18), are two manifestations by which God appeared to Moses. Saint John describes the master of the Universe as in the figure of a being of Jasper and Sardonyx the color of flame, sitting on a fulgurant, incandescent Throne (Revelations IV, 3-5). In his Epistle to the Hebrews, Saint Paul writes that our God is a Consuming Fire. The Intimate Christ, the Celestial Fire, must be born within ourselves and is really born when we have advanced quite a lot in the psychological work. The Intimate Christ must eliminate from our Psychological Nature the very same causes of error; the CAUSES-“I”S. The dissolution of the causes of the EGO, would not be possible while the Intimate Christ has not been born within ourselves. The living and philosopher’s fire, the Intimate Christ, is the Fire of the Fire, the pure of the pure. Fire envelopes and bathes us all over, it comes to us through the air, through the water and through the very earth, which are its preservers and its diverse vehicles. The Celestial Fire must crystallize within us, it is the Intimate Christ, our deep inner Savior. The Intimate Lord, must take charge of the whole of our Psyche; of the Five Cylinders of the organic machine; of all our Mental, Emotional, Motor, Instinctive and Sexual processes.

All the way from the cold frigid Northern Wasteland of Tennessee.   Pastor Newms: [0:23] Oh no it's 50 degrees today and raining so yeah the snow is gone yeah yeah which is even more funny we had.   Pastor Bill: [0:33] We got up to 45 today with 15 to 20 mile an hour wind gusts and they're forecasting that an even deeper drop in temperatures this evening so.   Pastor Newms: [0:48] So we had several days of hot and then it frozen snow. Then we had a couple of days where it De-thawed but didn't rise real high and then like the night we went to the first Whataburger to open in in Tennessee in over 40 years because it closed in the 80s. We went there waited in line for three hours to what's wrong.   Pastor Bill: [1:22] 40 years… I'm old.   Pastor Newms: [1:23] Today you're old now.   Pastor Bill: [1:25] As of an hour ago.   Pastor Newms: [1:27] Yep an hour ago you got old and I didn't say Happy Birthday on purpose for our whole pre conversation and the whole day to wait till right now just so that way I could rub in the fact that you're 40. For the first time out of my mouth here no problem on yep yep live on camera so. We left the house and it was 52 degrees we left it for 45 by the time we got home it was like 31 in the 3 and the 3 to 4 hours we were gone, and then, Thursday and Friday it snowed and so the girls were out of school and Pastor Bills camera just went down again because Teams hates him and then.   Pastor Bill: [2:22] My own son on the Twitch channel, “I forgot it was your birthday.”   Pastor Newms: [2:28] That's messed up.   Pastor Bill: [2:28] Rude.   Pastor Newms: [2:30] That's messed up, are you going to turn your camera back on are we just going without your camera.   Pastor Bill: It won't come back on.   Pastor Newms [2:41] That is some kind of special. Cool then Saturday it was kind of cold, and started to melt it was in the you know high 30s low 40s and today it's 54 degrees and raining so it's been just a nut so of a weather system here in. On bigger news, your son forgot your birthday which worries me greatly because he's just across the house.   Pastor Bill: [3:22] Well we didn't really make a big deal out of it today and so well we usually go out and have a meal or something but we didn't do that so. Okay so I'm gonna have to start running my camera through OBS or something because teams just does not want to use my Razor camera just.   Pastor Newms: [3:57] It hates your camera homie will have to after tonight we'll have to set something up you have to fiddle with it throughout this evening and then we'll work on fixing it, tomorrow and in the meantime we'll just get really great video from you all night. And you know I don't even have a creation where you're the little and I'm the big no I.   Pastor Bill: [4:26] You never set up an aspect ratio for you to be the host?   Pastor Newms: [4:29] Hmm we haven't.   Pastor Bill: [4:55] Anyway how was your week.   Pastor Newms: [4:56] Anyway my week was good my week was very busy, but other than my week being really busy it was good. Yeah we played some Borderlands we finished the main story which was good and our gaming with the pastor's.   Pastor Bill: [5:27] It was really anti-climactic though like it was more of a challenge getting to the end of the game, then the actual end of the game.   Pastor Newms: [5:38] And that's part of the point actually because if you notice it just continues like nothing actually.   Pastor Bill: [5:44] Yeah, like nothing happened it was just like congratulations just life.   Pastor Newms: [5:48] You killed a giant interdimensional monster called The Destroyer.   Pastor Bill: [5:50] Ah spoilers what if somebody has to play through before why would you.   Pastor Newms: [5:58] I'm going to be honest, that game is so old I don't mind yeah well yeah not that worried about it and I didn't say how you get to the end. Just said at the end you destroy a monster if you play a game at the end you don't get to defeat a giant monster called something that's trying to destroy everything what kind of game are you playing.   Pastor Bill: [6:29] Puzzle game, a relaxing game mining Simulator game a farm life Simulator game.   Pastor Newms: [6:42] You know sometimes I just I get done with you. Now everyone gets to see me adjust this in real time.   Pastor Bill: [6:55] Biggs says Mario but even in Mario you fight a bad guy at the end.   Pastor Newms: [7:00] Multiple bad guys.   Pastor Bill: [7:02] Sometimes multiple.   Pastor Newms: [7:04] What time what else is it this needs moved here and then needs to.   Pastor Bill: [7:13] There was.   Pastor Newms: [7:14] Small.   Pastor Bill: [7:15] There was Mario Brothers not Super Mario Brothers but Mario Brothers that came out in between dunk in between, Donkey Kong and Super Mario Brothers, where Mario and Luigi come out of pipes at the bottom and then bad guys coming out of the pipes at the top, boss battles in that game you just compete against the other player to see how many of the little monsters you can squash in each round.   Pastor Newms: [7:46] Yeah I do remember that that was an interesting game I now have it fixed to where I am big and you are little.   Pastor Bill: [7:56] And in Super Mario Brothers 3 if when it's your turn to choose a level and you're playing with someone else if you choose the other person's character as the level, it will launch regular Mario Brothers and you can play regular Mario Brothers against the other person.   Pastor Newms: [8:15] Really that I did not know or I had forgotten.   Pastor Bill: [8:33] Slow relaxing head doctor's appointment. Got an adjustment on my medication which turned out fantastic.   Pastor Newms: [8:45] Your medication what's that.   Pastor Bill: [8:47] Magic magic magic keishon Magik Cajon my education turned out fantastic, I feel great so that's awesome my magic medication medication medication medication that stuff, anyway it's time for Getting To Know The Pastors.   Pastor Newms: [9:08] I don't like not being able to see you it really irritates me.   Pastor Bill: [9:12] Hey yeah it's weird I don't know what to do about it man.   Pastor Newms: [9:16] I know I don't like being the big face just saying at all not even a little.   Pastor Bill: [9:24] Hey I may be to let you stay on this time all right if you had to delete all but three apps from your smartphone which ones would you keep.   Pastor Newms: [9:37] Well here's a question. What about all the apps you're not able to delete I'm assuming these are apps that you can add yourself.   Pastor Bill: [9:52] Right right not like the bloatware that you're required to have by the phone company or the carrier.   Pastor Newms: [10:03] Discord.   Pastor Bill: [10:05] Mmm.   Pastor Newms: Influence.   Pastor Bill: [10:15] Influence, what's Influence?   Pastor Newms: [10:17] And probably Spotify. So Influence is a game that is the as some people know I delete and start playing new games, a lot I actually have multiple ways that games are stored on my phone I've got this area that has just games that come and go, and then I actually have a folder of games, right and the folder of games are games that I don't remove just because the time the other games can come and go I get bored with them I delete them I install and delete on average about 10 games a week, just because I love trying new games and and seeing if I liked it influences the game that I've had on my phone the longest, I want to say this is either the third or fourth phone that influence has been on, and it's just a game that I love from a company called Terror mock games, it says like a it's either a two or three person development team that they don't do it full-time and it's a phenomenal game. And it that's how it looks and the point of the game is to take over an area with your color. And it has been on my phone the longest of any game that I have and I absolutely love it because it's just an advanced form of you know it's a strategy game turn-based and it, it's great because I can do it. It unless it's against for super you can play with up to five catch up to four computers in yourself so up, colors on the map, unless it's for of the hardest that they just released this year end of last year they released a new algorithm for one of their characters unless it's four of those I can play it mindlessly while I'm doing other things, so I'm often, you know moving the people over you know while I'm doing completely other things watching TV doing because it's, it's almost a fidget for me at this point so but they recently released, a new version a new part that are challenges that are a lot harder and I actually have to focus on which makes me really happy, now there's two parts of the game the Mindless part I can do and then so what about you what would you leave on your phone.   Pastor Bill: [13:21] Discord just like you Star Trek Fleet command I don't play that often on my actual PC and, my hours at my desk or limited anyway because you know my wife works overnight and then she needs to sleep and so I can't be at my desk click-clacking away at the keyboard and whatnot because, my office is literally I mean I can reach out and touch my bed from my desk so so you know shared space gotta respect the, the lady who works those hours, I almost said the lady of the night but she's not a lady of the night she's an Uber driver.   Pastor Newms: [14:02] That is not how we're going to refer to your.   Pastor Bill: [14:04] No regular fertilizes Lady Of The Night.   Pastor Newms: [14:07] Um   Pastor Bill: [14:08] And so you know I would keep Star Trek Fleet Command and then for my third app, I guess it would have to be Netflix.   Pastor Newms: [14:23] You do enjoy having. Some way to watch TV on your phone because it helps you go to sleep at night.   Pastor Bill: [14:35] Healthy got while I can use the iPad for that yeah but like when I'm cooking something or, doing any like General loading the laundry machine of the dishwasher the washing machine with clothes or just anything I'm doing you know I I put on background noise some show that's familiar that I've already seen to just, occupy my mind while I'm doing the things you know to help because if I don't have that, thing that I've already chosen to occupy my mind then my mind will get distracted and I'll find myself off task I'll be, I'll be jumping bunny Trails I'll be like, oh this door, his back this back door to the house needs this and this and this done and and then it'll be eight hours later and I still haven't even started the laundry that I brought it into the laundry room because I've gotten distracted by, another task. Since the new medicine I'm on is also used for ADHD it's not why I'm taking it but it's also used for ADHD it'll be nice to see if. I prefer Betty White but it is a shock and he will be missed and that's sad.   Pastor Bill: [21:38] I'm shocked he made it this far have you heard his secular comedy routine his non family-friendly comedy routine woo.   Pastor Newms: [21:46] Yes there were there were times where he was heavily involved in a lot of things aside from what we see as TVs dad.   Pastor Bill: [21:51] Mmm Yeah.   Pastor Newms: [21:57] But it's amazing the things you hear on Galaxy chat in Star Trek all of a sudden it just started blowing up and I was like what's what's what is that going on over there and then it was like oh, hmm that's not what I want to okay anyway.   Pastor Bill: [22:17] All right let's get a little nerdy.   Pastor Newms: [22:20] Get a little nerdy.   Pastor Bill: [22:22] We can get a little nerdy.   Pastor Newms: [22:24] Why are we getting nerdy we've already been nerdy.   Pastor Bill: [22:26] Because I'm a nerd and I nerd out for this thing this stuff.   Pastor Newms: [22:31] You do you love the deep in text.   Pastor Bill: [22:34] All right so can you tell me what the name of God is.   Pastor Newms: [22:47] No   Pastor Bill: [22:48] No you can't you can't tell me what the name of God is.   Pastor Newms: [22:53] I can tell you, what some people referred to him as I can tell you what some people wrote down about the name is but the actual name is.   Pastor Bill: [23:09] I can tell you what God calls himself in the Hebrew language emphasis there on the Hebrew language.   Pastor Newms: [23:18] Yeah but yeah it is definitely not something that is. As well known as people like to say it is we have names of God you know things that the Bible referred to him as.   Pastor Bill: [23:41] But even then it's not names of God those are descriptions of God's character.   Pastor Newms: [23:48] Which is why.   Pastor Bill: [23:49] Of a gyro Edge over these are all descriptions.   Pastor Newms: [23:53] Which is why I put quotation marks that everyone else couldn't see.   Pastor Bill: [23:56] Yeah but in the podcast no one can see your quotation. All right so the only time that God ever actually calls himself by name in the Bible, is any Ezekiel 3:14. Now according to the tradition the Hebrew tradition, the name of God that we identify as the name of God was given to Moses on the mountain, when he received the ten commandments so the idea that everyone says well this is the name of God, is based around the story not the biblical account of but the story of well this is what happened on the mountain, God revealed his name to Moses and that's where we get the name Yahweh, it is the in Greek we color the tetragrammaton or in Hebrew the tetragram, both of those meaning a four-letter word. And those four letters are yodh hey V hey, or written in English yhw H no vowels in there whatsoever, yo dude hey hey now that s hey is actually silent so it would be your hey Ava, which then we pronounce as Yahweh because we have ignorant American tongues okay, no It's it is Yahweh it's I can't even pronounce it right but it's closer to Yahweh than Yoda hey you know vahey because when we're speaking we don't say you know, A Aron when we read the name Aaron right so it's the same thing you don't say the name of the letter, that's their you make the sound that the letter makes so anyway but that last letter the last hey is the last letter is silent so it's actually just a three letters Yahweh Yahweh, now as it is believed that the name of God isn't supposed to actually be said aloud, right because it's wholly so it should never pass from an Unholy lips is the belief when they would, get to the name of God in when they were transliterate you know transcribing the Bible they would replace it with nicknames, did you just throw something up on the tray on the live this.   Pastor Newms: [30:17] No I tried to switch to you and I switched to just your face and then I switch to the title for some reason then I switched back and because I hated the fact that I was big, it was irritating me yeah fun video tonight guys.   Pastor Bill: [30:33] So since God's name isn't supposed to be said aloud or that's what they believed nowhere in the Bible does God ever say, don't tell people what my name is don't speak name that was it that was a human belief they would, substitute it with nicknames and originally the started with you just understood that when you're reading, out of the verses to the assembly when you got to that word you would use a nickname, unimproved nickname that the priest had approved, and then later like I said the people who were transcribing over and over and over again it became the belief that even the name of God was too holy to be written, and so then they would start using those nicknames and they would write them at all caps like we saw I am that I am they worded in all caps because they were using God's name but they weren't actually writing, the actual name the actual words that God used they were you know letting you know, this is he didn't actually say I am that I am he said the Hebrew equivalent of I am that I am. Or some semblance of that and they cleaned it up to hiya assure hiya to make it flow better, you know still the name but not met not met in necessarily the exact, sounds that God made when he said it okay so these nicknames you ready be ready for these nicknames that they. Through in their throat at that time these are these are some interesting nickname so you've got Adam and I we know that one I don't know Elohim.   Pastor Newms: [32:27] Right we know that one yep we know that one.   Pastor Bill: [32:32] Even Elohim the hell he even though the Canaanites to use the Sumerians youth Mesopotamia juice they recognize Elohim so that was probably an influence from you know a cultural influence, Hashem curious, Dominus that's one that the New Testament like to use a lot more to go wow Pippi j'avais and Asia, are all nicknames that transcribers have used, to indicate the name of God was used here we shouldn't read the name of God so we use this nickname and then as time progressed it became the belief that even the nicknames of God were holy, but they wrote them anyway but after they would write them they would break their pin. And throw the pin away and start fresh with a new PIN because once that pin had written the name of God it shouldn't be so lead by writing any other, it should be retired from service because it wrote the nickname of God isn't that interesting.   Pastor Newms: [33:53] It is and in certain. Jewish cultures not totally across but because you know there's different sects of Judaism different sects of, Messianic Jews they will not use the name Jesus either, for the same reason they leave out a letter or they which is really interesting too, read when you're like wait why is there literally a dash a dash in the middle of, the name g like I know that that verse says Jesus I've read that verse a thousand like why is there that because they won't write it and so they put a dash and then they're not writing the whole name and, that's better.   Pastor Bill: [34:49] All right so we're going to get to Jesus we're not quite there yet let's talk about the name Jehovah. Okay because we know this is used a lot Jehovah Nissi Jehovah Jireh Jehovah on and on and on there's all those names, the word Jehovah, the etymology of this word is that when it became necessary to include vowels for language, um they took the word Yahweh and they took the nickname as of my, and they took the syllables from Adonai, and place them equally in between the letters of the tetragrammaton yhw H to create a new word, and that word is Yehovah. And that's where we get the name Jehovah some person decided that Yahweh wasn't good enough and Adam and I wasn't good enough we needed, a name for God that had not just. Consonants but also vowels, and so they merged a nickname of God with what they believed the name of God was that was given to Moses on the mountain to create yehovah Jehovah, as we say it now now Jehovah now let's now we can start talking about things like this the letter j, The J the simple Jay didn't even exist. When the King James Bible was translated. There wasn't a letter j the letter J is so young it's younger than the King James Bible in the year 1600. 1600 they still didn't have a letter j, So when you say oh no his name was definitely Jesus they definitely called him Jesus, I'm sorry they couldn't have the letter J didn't exist yet it wasn't a spoken letter it wasn't a represented letter in writing, didn't exist yet if you go back and you get one of those copies of the Bible you know from, early early prints its i0 e s u.s. is the closest English transliteration for Jesus but if you go and you look in Matthew, when the angel says and you shall call him Jesus the word Jesus is in all caps. And what did we just talk about that means it means the angel uses a name for God, and that the translator substituted it with an accepted nickname, and wrote it in all caps so that you would understand that it wasn't he wasn't saying that word he was saying the accepted nickname, so then we had to ask yourselves what was Jesus name. And some people have said well Yeshua his name would have been Yeshua you should okay number one where did we get that from. Because I don't know and number two. If this man had to fulfill all of the prophecies in order to be the Messiah then his name would have been a manual. Right not Joshua. And it certainly wasn't Jesus.   Pastor Newms: [39:26] Well it's the, the verses that talk about that is they shall call him Emmanuel so it doesn't have to be his name it's just something they would have used someone, called him that it's not necessarily named it's more of a title but that's beside the point.   Pastor Bill: [39:48] What's the name certainly wasn't Jesus.   Pastor Newms: [39:50] No no cuz it didn't exist even even in in the Strong's Concordance it's the I co.   Pastor Bill: [40:02] S u s--   Pastor Newms: [40:03] Yeah so and continue, I want to see where where you fully get to and then I'll say what I want to say so.   Pastor Bill: [40:13] I want to hear what you want to say now.   Pastor Newms: [40:15] No I don't know what you finish know cuz I want to see if you get there so now.   Pastor Bill: [40:20] Don't know where I don't know where I'm going.   Pastor Newms: [40:22] Exactly continue.   Pastor Bill: [40:24] Hmm.   Pastor Newms: [40:34] Jesus name would have had to been to Immanuel because the prophecies but technically that's a title or a nickname or.   Pastor Bill: [40:43] Don't know if it's a normal Jewish name it's not a title anyway.   Pastor Newms: [40:50] No I mean the word called could mean multiple things it could be just, someone used the net doesn't have to be named it can that word can be translated multiple ways so there's always been question on that part of the prophecy but that's what I was meaning is the, prophecy itself could mean multiple things not Emanuel not being a name because manual is.   Pastor Bill: [41:18] It's still a name.   Pastor Newms: [41:20] In the yeah it's still a name which so is Jesus in the same people group yeah yeah exactly, where.   Pastor Bill: [41:41] Have people really started using the name Judas. That's that's up there with naming your kid Hitler. All right so this word Ioesus, this from what I can see and what I've found in study is the pronunciation of the INRI that was written above, Jesus head while he was hanging on the cross and this is where this this first this word is first used, for calling him that and then it, became a normal thing for them to use that name in retrospect because it was illegal to be a Christian and it sounded so very close to saying the son of Zeus in great, and so it was easy to pass off as, oh no we're not talking about that rebellious Trader who had to be put to death we're talking about the son of Zeus,absolutely that's that's absolutely what's going on.   Pastor Newms: [43:13] It looks like there's at least 100 people walking around in the United States with the name Judas.   Pastor Bill: [43:19] Wow.   Pastor Newms: [43:20] In 2020 there was at least 11 people named that according to name data from censuses and things.   Pastor Bill: [43:29] Wow I mean I'm not saying you have to be a believer but you know and name your kids according to my Christian beliefs but it's pretty Infamous story with an Infamous name like.   Pastor Newms: [43:44] I think that's why some people use it is it's.   Pastor Bill: [43:47] Because it's infamous.   Pastor Newms: [43:48] Yeah supposed to be the smack in the face of. I'm naming my kid this to be anti I would I would think.   Pastor Bill: [44:01] I just feels like you're setting up your kid to fail like he's gonna have that stigma on him his whole life.   Pastor Newms: [44:07] And actually the name Adolf has started to be used again.   Pastor Bill: [44:12] I've never fell out of popularity it was it was.   Pastor Newms: [44:15] Oh no. Tanked percentage-wise oh yeah and then now it's starting to rise again. Because I mean Hitler is a last name Adolf is the first name they're so anyway not that I'm now Googling random names to see what people.   Pastor Bill: [44:39] Named their kids.   Pastor Newms: [44:41] And often it actually is illegal in certain countries to name your kids certain things.   Pastor Bill: [44:47] Well it's illegal in Texas to name your kids certain things I don't know what the list is but there is a list somewhere all right so we get to the scripture by no other name. Can men be saved and first off we don't actually know the name of God there is a group that will end up knowing the name of God. Those who have been martyred are given a this are taught the secret name of God which is interesting and only only they can learn. I guess it's one of those things like after they say it everyone else forgets like can't remember what they said, we don't know the name of God we know what he called himself in, Hebrew the only time it's ever recorded in the Bible that he told us what his name is as far as what he calls himself Jesus then refers to himself by the same name, I am.   Pastor Newms: [46:05] Uh-huh.   Pastor Bill: [46:15] And so there's no other name by what any man can be saved and then we get on the point that you were saying about that word name that can mean Authority that can mean, nickname that can mean title that can mean it's most likely in context and that verse that they're saying Authority by no other authority can man be saved. And so I think that was everything I had for.   Pastor Newms: [46:48] And that's that's so that I can piggyback right off of that of what I wanted to say.   Pastor Bill: [46:53] You know I wanted to go geek and then I wanted to bring it forward to Chic and here we are.   Pastor Newms: [46:59] So that's all you get is just exacerbated.   Pastor Bill: [47:05] Your turn.   Pastor Newms: [47:09] Um so, you know often times we have discussed discussions and I've been asked before well what does it matter, you know what does it matter that we had this conversation what does it matter that we don't know and. And that's the whole point is to continue with our growth of, knowledge and trying to dig into things and increasing our. Knowledge of spiritual things is the reason for doing studies like this the other aspect is there are people who, will come against Christians and use examples like this of hey you, you don't even know the name of your God and they're like oh yeah I do because it's here, and then they get hit with some of these things and they're dumbfounded because they've never heard it, or their defensive because they don't believe the speaker lots of situations like that happen because we as a culture, do not always dig in as far as we should into the things that we believe, and it's an understanding that the word name that's used can mean multiple things even something that simple and so, even though we don't know the full name of God we know the name of aspects of God we know certain certain things about God because of the names that are used in the Bible even though they are just nicknames and let's be honest sometimes nicknames are more powerful and more important than regular name's not.   Pastor Bill: [49:21] Because they bring definition.   Pastor Newms: [49:23] Not that mine is right.   Pastor Bill: [49:24] To a character.   Pastor Newms: [49:26] Cuz my name is not that my parents named me Jonathan and there is nothing wrong with the name Jonathan do not get me wrong I'm not avoiding the name Jonathan.   Pastor Bill: [49:37] Now let's be clear your name's not Jonathan it's Jonathan you're not Jonathan your.   Pastor Newms: [49:44] I am not yeah there's no h in my name anyway not in the first part but the, the the aspect of the reason I use my nickname more than my regular name is nothing wrong with my regular name just like there's nothing wrong with, the true name of God but that nicknames that we use are just because that's what's become normal.   Pastor Bill: [50:10] That's what's become acquainted with our character.   Pastor Newms: [50:12] People know me as Newms there are people here in Tennessee who completely forgot my regular name and I had to, like when I started reaching out to people they were like who are you, this person oh because there was points of my life that I didn't use my regular name so it doesn't equate the same and so nicknames are not necessarily negative in any way which some people have that connotation well we if we only know the nicknames of God there's something wrong.   Pastor Bill: [50:44] But nicknames can also imply intimacy right you call someone by a nickname because you have an intimate relationship. Sorry didn't mean to derail you.   Pastor Newms: [51:05] No that was my whole point was that you yeah my whole point was the fact that that happens nicknames are important.   Pastor Bill: [51:17] Names are important he's keeping score on the war that were in in the charger Clique man, so yeah so let's go back into that list of nicknames if people have substituted for God, Adonai Elohim Hashem curios Dominus more oh sorry more yo wow Pippi Java.   Pastor Newms: [51:42] That what I want to know more about that one just throws me off I'm like wait what.   Pastor Bill: [51:48] It was created about somewhere between the year 500 and 1000 by someone who misunderstood how to pronounce certain Hebrew characters and it just took off from there.   Pastor Newms: [52:07] Humans are special group of creatures okay continue.   Pastor Bill: [52:15] Hiya now, there is nothing wrong with using a nickname, when you're talking to God you feel like as an eye or Jehovah or Jesus is the most intimate way for you to connect, with the Divine V divided not a Divine but the Divine the Supreme, Divine is what they refer to him in the original language as when Mary goes to talk to her cousin Martha she didn't say God my God the Lord my God no she says the Divine the Supreme, Divine to indicate that of all of the, Supernatural things we know of this is the one that is the top this is the one that is the most powerful this is the one that is the most wonderful, and she goes on to sing this song about how great the Divine is and all of the great feats the Divine has done in contrast to, I'm just a young girl who's never accomplished anything and yet God saw value. And that is one of those key messages of the whole gospel message is that you, listener viewer whoever all right normal human being and you may have accolades and things that you've accomplished in your life when you boil down to you are just, a bag of bones and juice and electrical impulses, that God looked at and said I see potential. God looks at you he doesn't see the mistakes that you made or your deficiencies or your neuroses or your anxieties he doesn't see those things, he sees the potential of who you could be, without things drying you down without things holding you back without things causing you to be afraid or anxious and that's who God wants you to become, God doesn't look at you and go well I gotta take that thing away because they like it more than me, that's not what God's doing and God doesn't look at that thing and go well I got it I got it you know do this because they're doing wrong know, that looks at Uni goes I see that thing in their life that's do railing them, and causing them not to succeed and I would like to remove that from their life, and then we as humans we get attached to the things that are bad for us. And this is what John was trying to communicate when he said the light came into the world, and he did not come to condemn the world but the world felt condemned, because the light shined on the areas where they already knew, they were hurting and Afraid and anxious and self-sabotaging but as humans we get attached to those things. Jesus came God came to set us free from all those things that are pulling us down, not as an excuse to continue doing the things that pull us down, but so that we literally have a choice to choose to live whole and healthy and move forward or to choose the things that tear us down but ultimately, the idea that sin keeps us from God doesn't exist anymore. What keeps us from moving forward is our faith or are not faith in the idea that God came, as a man in order, to pay the penalty for the slavery that you and I were born into, and when we accept that gift when we receive that gift of what Jesus did that's what we know as salvation. It's not this idea of become perfect and throw away all of your old things and yada yada yada yada yada it's not that it's this idea of yeah, I believe that you loved me enough that you came and lived this crappy life like I did, so you can understand what I'm going through, you gave yourself over to pay the price for what Adam and Eve did that I was then born into all I have to do is believe, to receive that, now it's awesome magic switch where things are going to get better as a matter of fact the bible promises that when you side with God when you side with freedom, the things are going to get harder because the world and the things in the world are going to want to either draw you back in or fight you tooth and nail. But that is internal peace, and that ability to say no and not have this addiction troubling you and that thing pulling you down and this thing pulling you down and once again not a magic pill. But the wholeness and the prosperity remember we talked about Prosperity is not money money is one of the things that you can prosper in, but when you talk about Prosperity we're talking about wholeness health happiness joy peace patience all these things that make life, rich and livable and enjoyable this is prosperity not physical things. After months of deliberation, and several short hiatuses (including right now), I've made the decision to retitle and rebrand my podcast. The "Real Person | Real Needs" podcast will now be known as "The Acting Realtor" podcast. www.actingrealtor.com Don't worry you don't have to update your feeds or podcast apps. The first 42 episodes of my podcasting career were basically me finding my footing and exploring this new (to me anyway) world of podcasting. But as I've grown and learned more about the medium, it seemed that the title just didn't fit the content of the show. In other words, I began to feel that I was not branded appropriately for my target audience. The content has always come from the same place; however starting at episode 43, I began to focus more on creating an audio diary of my life as a young husband, father, and realtor trying to "make it" as a performer, while still providing for my family. The new subtitle sort of explains it all. "The Dangerous & Delicate Balancing Act Between Your Dream Job & Your Day Job." And with my real estate business starting a new phase (Discover Springford), it seemed like it was time to make a change with my first podcast. #RealPersonRealNeeds has been a guiding light for me through many a dark and unforeseen circumstance, and making this change will no doubt lead the podcast in a different direction even though the content won't really change. I'm happy to announce however that the #RealPersonRealNeeds moniker will live on as the name of my growing podcast network.
