Have you ever felt like you're doing all the right things—posting consistently, grinding day in and day out, hustling hard—but still not getting the traction you hoped for? Maybe you've thought about starting a podcast or launching a business, but the road ahead feels foggy, full of risk, and just plain overwhelming. If you're nodding your head, then this episode of The Happy Hustle Podcast is about to be your new favorite listen. In this episode, I had the pleasure of sitting down with Travis Chappell—a seasoned entrepreneur, top-ranked podcaster, and founder and CEO of Guestio, a platform that helps podcasters and content creators book high-level guests easily. Travis has built a name for himself in the podcasting space, and now he's making bold moves into brick-and-mortar businesses. What's interesting is that instead of chasing flashy, high-risk startups, Travis is leaning into stable, “boring” business models—and turning them into serious cash machines. Yeah, we're talking laundromats, self-storage, and other “unsexy” businesses that work.We covered a lot of ground in this convo—from the current state of podcasting to monetization strategies, to AI's impact on the workforce, to navigating the challenges of fatherhood and entrepreneurship. Travis doesn't sugarcoat anything. He talks about the reality of building a podcast and why consistency alone isn't enough. He opens up about his journey, including the lessons learned from his time building Guestio, and why he decided to pivot toward more predictable businesses. One major theme that stood out in our chat is that podcasting is still in its infancy. Despite the growth we've seen in recent years, there's still room to make a mark—if you're willing to commit. Travis and I agreed: consistency is just the entry fee. You've got to commit to getting better over time, treating your show like a business, and playing the long game. Travis shared that when he started, he made a non-negotiable commitment to release three interviews per week for two years—no questions asked. That level of dedication is what separates the dabblers from the doers. When it comes to monetizing your podcast, Travis simplified it in a way that cuts through all the noise. There are only two ways: sell your stuff, or sell someone else's. Whether it's your products, courses, services—or affiliate offers and sponsorships—you have to get clear on which direction you're headed. Stop waiting for downloads to magically turn into dollars. Build an offer, create value, and promote it intentionally. But perhaps the most refreshing part of our conversation was Travis's take on where real business opportunity lies today. We're in a world obsessed with innovation, yet Travis is proving that tried-and-true models are often the fastest way to freedom. Think about it: buying a small business with steady cash flow, minimal competition, and low bankruptcy rates? That's a way smarter play than risking everything on a flashy startup. And with tools like AI entering the scene, you can now make those traditional businesses even more efficient. Automate the boring stuff. Lower your costs. Increase margins. Scale smart. We also got real about personal life—especially the pressure to “do it all.” As dads and entrepreneurs, it's easy to feel guilty. Guilty when you're working and not with your kids. Guilty when you're home and not grinding. But as Travis shared so powerfully: wherever you are, be there. If you're with your family, be fully present. Don't be glued to your phone. And if you're working, be focused without regret. Balance isn't about perfect harmony—it's about intentionality and owning your cycles of focus. So if you've been on the fence about starting a podcast, launching a new venture, or rethinking how you spend your time, this episode is a must-listen. Travis delivers practical wisdom, honest advice, and a refreshing perspective that'll challenge how you view success. In this episode, we cover:The State of Podcasting: Is It Too Late to Start?Common Mistakes New Podcasters MakeMonetizing Your Podcast: Strategies and InsightsThe Value of Podcasting Beyond MonetizationGuestio: The Journey and Lessons LearnedTransitioning from Tech to Brick and Mortar BusinessesAdvice for Young Entrepreneurs: Starting SmartThe Importance of Timing in Selling a BusinessFinal Thoughts and Reflections on EntrepreneurshipIdentifying Opportunities in Boring BusinessesThe Role of Technology in Business InnovationThe Impact of AI on IndustriesNavigating Fatherhood and EntrepreneurshipThe Essence of Happy HustlingWhat does happy Hustlin mean to you? Travis says it's not putting off happiness for some elusive future date in the guise of pursuing status now. think, I think just too many people think that it's like, well, I'll worry about happiness once I'm done with this thing. Or once I, once I have 10 million in the bank, then I'll worry about happiness. Are you building wealth... or just playing the hustle game on hard mode?Let's get real—between inflation, AI, and market mayhem, it's easy to feel like you're hustling just to stay afloat. But what if you could thrive in this chaos—and future-proof your biz in the process? That's what we unpack in this exclusive guest guru training inside The Happy Hustle Club—my private mastermind community for purpose-driven entrepreneurs. This one was so packed with gold that I had to share it publicly on The Happy Hustle Podcast.I sat down with my buddy Rob Luna—wealth strategist to the ultra-successful, media financial expert, and real-deal entrepreneur. We broke down how to grow your money, your business, and your freedom in this wild economy.Rob's insights are next level—and he doesn't just talk the talk. He's helped countless entrepreneurs go from financial chaos to clarity. In this convo, he spills the tea on everything from tariffs and investing, to AI's impact on the game, to building sustainable portfolios and planning your ideal exit.Rob talked about how AI is changing the way we do business—and why adaptability is non-negotiable if you want to thrive in the future. He laid it out clearly: AI won't replace you, but someone using AI better than you definitely could. But here's the kicker—while everyone's out here automating everything, the people who lead with empathy, creativity, and human connection are gonna be the ones who win big.Rob also dropped serious gems on how to build a sustainable portfolio. Not the kind of shiny stuff you see influencers posting about—but a real plan that aligns with your goals, values, and lifestyle. Because let's be real, if your financial strategy isn't supporting your happiness, what's the point? One of my favorite moments? When Rob broke down the difference between growing a business and building wealth. Most entrepreneurs are great at the first one—but never learn the second. And without a clear exit strategy, you're just building yourself a job. We also touched on financial literacy—something too many entrepreneurs ignore until it's too late. If you don't know your numbers, your business owns you. Plain and simple. Rob explained how understanding your cash flow, risk tolerance, and freedom number can change your life. Because the goal isn't just to work less—it's to live more. This convo was filled with truth bombs, mindset shifts, and practical steps you can take right now to level up. Whether you're just starting out or already crushing it, Rob's wisdom will challenge you to think bigger, act smarter, and stay aligned with your mission. So if you're ready to stop playing small, take control of your financial future, and adapt to the changes coming fast—hit play on this episode now. You'll learn how to invest wisely, protect your energy, prep for a smart exit, and most importantly, build wealth without burning out.Connect with Robhttps://www.instagram.com/thelunarobhttps://www.youtube.com/lunarobhttps://twitter.com/thelunarobFind Rob on these websites: https://robluna.com/ closeyourwealthgap.comConnect with Cary!https://www.instagram.com/caryjack/https://www.facebook.com/SirCaryJackhttps://www.linkedin.com/in/cary-jack-kendzior/https://twitter.com/thehappyhustlehttps://www.youtube.com/channel/UCFDNsD59tLxv2JfEuSsNMOQ/featured Get a free copy of his new book, The Happy Hustle, 10 Alignments to Avoid Burnout & Achieve Blissful Balance https://www.thehappyhustle.com/bookSign up for The Journey: 10 Days To Become a Happy Hustler Online Coursehttps://thehappyhustle.com/thejourney/Apply to the Montana Mastermind Epic Camping Adventurehttps://thehappyhustle.com/mastermind/“It's time to Happy Hustle, a blissfully balanced life you love, full of passion, purpose, and positive impact!”Episode Sponsors:If you're feeling stressed, not sleeping great, or your energy's been kinda meh lately—let me put you on to something that's been a total game-changer for me: Magnesium Breakthrough by BiOptimizers. Ever feel like your brain just gives up on you halfway through the day? You're doing all the right things—grinding, pushing, sipping your fourth cup of coffee—and still, your focus slips and your energy crashes. It's not because you're lazy or lacking discipline. It's because your brain is burnt out. And guess what? There's science to back that up—and a solution that's way cooler than you'd think. In this episode of The Happy Hustle Podcast, I got to sit down with Dr. Ramses Alcaide, a neuroscientist and the CEO of Neurable. Now, if you haven't heard of Neurable yet, you're about to have your mind blown—because they're not just making headphones, they're creating the future of brain optimization. We're talking real-time brainwave tracking, AI-powered productivity support, and tech that literally helps you prevent burnout before it even begins.Dr. Ramses shared some gold nuggets in our convo. One of the biggest takeaways? Breaks aren't just something nice to take—they're absolutely essential. But here's the kicker: not all breaks are created equal. Most of us think taking a break means scrolling through our phones or watching a random YouTube video. But according to neuroscience, those kinds of breaks don't help your brain recover. What you need are effective breaks—strategic rest that restores focus and reboots your mind for high performance. That's where Neurable comes in. These aren't just headphones—they're like a personal coach for your brain. They monitor your neural signals and tell you when you're locked in and when your focus is slipping. When it's time to take a break, you'll know. When it's time to power through, you'll be in flow. It's like turning your brain into your biggest productivity ally. For an entrepreneur trying to juggle it all, that's a massive win.We also dive into the power of experimentation. Dr. Ramses emphasized how no two brains are the same. What works for your buddy might not work for you. Some people recharge by moving their body, some through meditation, and others through quick mental resets. Neurable gives you insights to figure out what your brain needs, not just what productivity books tell you. Then we got into some seriously next-level stuff—like how this kind of brain-tech isn't just about optimizing your daily hustle. It's also paving the way for early detection and prevention of neurodegenerative diseases. Imagine having the ability to identify brain health issues years before symptoms show up. That's the kind of proactive health support that could change lives. And if you're thinking this tech is just for hardcore biohackers or neuroscientists, think again. Even if all you do is take calls and listen to music, these headphones are still worth it. The bonus is that you're supporting your brain while you're at it. I've been using them myself, and I gotta say—they're a game-changer.So whether you're running a startup or building your empire, this episode is a must-listen. Dr. Ramses breaks down the science in a way that's extremely accessible, and the conversation is filled with real, actionable advice you can start using today.Want to hear how to stop burning out, start optimizing, and think your way to better performance? If you're ready to give your brain a boost, check out Neurable.com and use code HAPPY to save over a hundred bucks on a pair of headphones. Are you constantly racing the clock — stressed, scattered, and stuck in your head with a million “what ifs”?Been there. Still catch myself there sometimes. In this solo episode on The Happy Hustle Podcast, I'm talking about the two biggest silent killers of success: HURRY and WORRY — and how to beat 'em both.I'm talkin' real, simple tactics that'll help you slow down, breathe deeper, and actually enjoy the journey WHILE building your dream life. Here's a quick sneak peek of what I covered:Power Hour Time BlocksProductivity ≠ busyness. You need focus. I block 90-minute “Power Hours” for deep work: phone on airplane mode, distractions gone, binaural beats flowing through my Neurable headphones (seriously, game-changer—these headphones even track brain focus and give biofeedback). Can't commit 90 minutes? Use tools like Pomofocus.io or Focus Keeper. Even 25 minutes of distraction-free hustle can move the needle more than 3 hours of scattered multitasking.Daily Digital DetoxUnplug to plug in. One of the 10 Alignments in my S.O.U.L.M.A.P.P.I.N system is unplugging digitally. I aim for tech-free Sundays (though, real talk, not perfect), but I always try to keep the first 30 and last 30 minutes of the day sacred—no phone, no scrolling, no noise.Try it. Sip your coffee in silence. Journal. Pray. Let your brain reboot. The 3x3x3 Morning Gratitude ResetBefore you scroll or stress, write down:3 things you're grateful for3 people you're grateful for3 wins from the day beforeSimple structure. Big shift. You'll start the day rooted in abundance, not anxiety. My latest: Grateful for my wife, son, and Montana breeze. Wins? A killer podcast episode, 2 new Happy Hustlers, and progress on our SaaS platform. The Worry DumpGrab a journal or Notes app and dump your worry. You can't control the economy, but you can record a reel, pitch 10 clients, or email your list. Turn anxiety into action.Flip the ScriptYour mindset is the magic. When I started building our SaaS company, my inner voice said: What if it flops? But I flipped it: What if it changes the freakin' world?Choose to turn fear into fuel. Change “what if I fail?” to “what if I fly?”Action Beats AnxietyMicro actions reduce overwhelm. Let's say your podcast downloads are low. Instead of spiraling, take one step: film a short video, email a fan, post a quote. Small steps, big momentum. Rinse and repeat. These aren't fluffy feel-good ideas — they're legit game-changers I use in my own biz and life to hustle with purpose, not panic. So if you're tired of feeling overwhelmed, on edge, and out of alignment.Go listen to the episode now and steal the exact 6 tactics I use to Happy Hustle, not hectic.Connect with Cary!https://www.instagram.com/caryjack/https://www.facebook.com/SirCaryJackhttps://www.linkedin.com/in/cary-jack-kendzior/https://twitter.com/thehappyhustlehttps://www.youtube.com/channel/UCFDNsD59tLxv2JfEuSsNMOQ/featured Get a free copy of his new book, The Happy Hustle, 10 Alignments to Avoid Burnout & Achieve Blissful Balance https://www.thehappyhustle.com/bookSign up for The Journey: 10 Days To Become a Happy Hustler Online Coursehttps://thehappyhustle.com/thejourney/Apply to the Montana Mastermind Epic Camping Adventurehttps://thehappyhustle.com/mastermind/“It's time to Happy Hustle, a blissfully balanced life you love, full of passion, purpose, and positive impact!”Episode Sponsors: If you're feeling stressed, not sleeping great, or your energy's been kinda meh lately—let me put you on to something that's been a total game-changer for me: Magnesium Breakthrough by BiOptimizers. Ever feel like your business hustle is outpacing your soul's rhythm?Like you're building the empire, checking the boxes, slaying your goals… but deep down, something's still missing? In this episode of the Happy Hustle Podcast, we are resharing the guest guru training by my friend, Danette May.Danette is a best-selling author, transformational speaker, and founder of multiple businesses, including Earth Echo Foods. But before all the success, she was a broke single mom with just $47 to her name. She turned her pain into purpose, her rock bottom into a launchpad—and now she's empowering millions with her story, spirituality, and soul-aligned strategies. In this episode, we dive deep into how tuning into your life force, crafting a clear vision, and practicing daily soul time can radically shift not just your business… but your entire existence.Danette didn't just wake up with multiple seven-figure brands and a global platform. She created a clear vision for the life she wanted. And that vision pulled her forward, even when everything around her screamed, “Give up.”She talks about how writing down your desires and being honest about where you're struggling creates the foundation for transformation. If you're running a business without a clear “why” and “what for,” you're just reacting to life—instead of designing it.Danette also shares how just a few shifts in mindset turned mundane routines into powerful rituals. When you bring purpose into your actions—whether it's brewing your morning coffee or leading your team—you activate a different frequency. One that attracts the right people, the right opportunities, and the right momentum. She doesn't teach manifestation as wishful thinking. She teaches it as a science of frequency. You have to act as if your vision has already come true. Embody that energy. And keep showing up as the future version of you—right now.Whether it's with your team, your partner, or your clients—radical honesty + radical love is the move. Danette opens up about navigating relationships and how accepting others (and ourselves) in their wholeness is key to growth. If you're grinding but not glowing… it's time to look within. If your team isn't vibing… it's time to reset the energy. If you're leading without soul… it's time to remember who you are.Danette's story proves that when you blend vision + soul + strategy, you create not just success… but a legacy.Because the truth is—you don't have to sacrifice your well-being to scale. You don't have to disconnect from your heart to lead. You can build a soul-aligned business that fuels your bank account and your spirit.Connect with Danettehttps://www.instagram.com/thedanettemay/https://www.facebook.com/TheDanetteMay/https://www.youtube.com/user/danettemay/https://twitter.com/DanetteFitnessFind Danette on her website: https://danettemay.com/Connect with Cary!https://www.instagram.com/caryjack/https://www.facebook.com/SirCaryJackhttps://www.linkedin.com/in/cary-jack-kendzior/https://twitter.com/thehappyhustlehttps://www.youtube.com/channel/UCFDNsD59tLxv2JfEuSsNMOQ/featured Get a free copy of his new book, The Happy Hustle, 10 Alignments to Avoid Burnout & Achieve Blissful Balance https://www.thehappyhustle.com/bookSign up for The Journey: 10 Days To Become a Happy Hustler Online Coursehttps://thehappyhustle.com/thejourney/Apply to the Montana Mastermind Epic Camping Adventurehttps://thehappyhustle.com/mastermind/“It's time to Happy Hustle, a blissfully balanced life you love, full of passion, purpose, and positive impact!”Episode Sponsors:If you're feeling stressed, not sleeping great, or your energy's been kinda meh lately—let me put you on to something that's been a total game-changer for me: Magnesium Breakthrough by BiOptimizers. You ever sit there thinking, “I know what I need to do... so why the heck am I not doing it?”You know—drink the water, write the email, stop the self-sabotage, hug a puppy, hit the gym. It's not that you don't know… it's that you feel like a freakin' war is going on inside you. That exact inner conflict? It's what my guest Britt Frank helps people decode and conquer.Britt's a licensed neuropsychotherapist, trauma specialist, educator, and author of the must-read book Align Your Mind. She's been featured on The Doctors, NPR, Fast Company, and Psychology Today, and y'all—her brain is next level. But what I love most is how she breaks heavy stuff down in a super clear, practical, no-BS kinda way. In this convo on the Happy Hustle Podcast, we get into it. The truth about internal resistance. Why high performers crash hard when they try to rest. And how to stop fighting yourself so you can finally start flowing in alignment. Here's the thing: just because you're a high-level hustler doesn't mean your brain is on board with all the good stuff you're trying to do. Britt explains this through what she calls “parts work.” Basically, you've got different internal parts—some want to grow, others want to hide under the covers. One wants to crush your goals, one wants to eat chips and scroll for hours. The key? They're all trying to help in their own way. You just have to learn how to lead the team instead of being dragged around by the chaos.Britt hit me with this line and it stuck: “Alignment is about driving the team of emotions rather than being run over by them.” Boom. And get this—if you've ever felt guilt for trying to relax after grinding, this'll land. Imagine you're driving a stick shift. You can't go from 90 MPH in 5th gear straight to 20 MPH in 1st gear. You'll blow your engine. And that's what a lot of entrepreneurs are doing. We're go-go-go, building, scaling, moving at lightning speed. And then we try to switch into family mode or chill mode instantly. Britt's point? You have to downshift. You need intentional transitions to protect your nervous system. Stretch. Walk. Breathe. Shift gears slowly, not all at once.Another gold nugget: Britt talks about “micro yeses.” Sometimes we procrastinate because our goals are just too damn big. “Write a book.” “Launch a course.” “Lose 50 pounds.” Our brains go, “Nope. Too much.” But if you break it down to a single next step—open the doc, write one sentence, walk to the mailbox—you're telling your brain, “Hey, this is doable.” Small wins stack up. She also dropped this cool tool called non-dominant hand journaling. Yup—writing with your opposite hand. It feels weird, but it unlocks a different part of your brain that can surface things you didn't even know you were carrying. Perfect for when you feel stuck or unclear. If you've been battling yourself mentally, emotionally, spiritually… this episode is a reminder that you're not alone. You're not broken. Your brain's not working against you—it just needs a better team captain. That's you. You lead the parts, you align the team, and suddenly life feels a whole lot lighter. This episode's packed with practical strategies, mindset shifts, and real talk that can legit change the way you move through your day. Especially if you've been grinding non-stop and wondering why you still feel like something's missing. If you've ever procrastinated on a dream, felt guilty for resting, doubted your ability to keep going, or just wanted some tools to finally quiet the mental chaos and get aligned—this one's for you. It's the kind of convo that makes you think, feel, and take action—without the overwhelm. In this episode, we cover:The Concept of Alignment and Its ImportanceUnderstanding the Inner ConflictPractical Strategies for AlignmentThe Gear Shift Analogy for High PerformersMicro Yeses: Breaking Down GoalsCombating Inner Criticism and Self-DoubtUnderstanding Self-Criticism and DoubtThe Science of the Mind and Self-CompassionBreaking Autopilot: Non-Dominant JournalingEnergy Protection and Emotional ClarityShifting Focus: Choices Over WhyAligning Actions with ValuesWhat does happy Hustlin mean to you? If you're an entrepreneur (or want to be), you can't afford to keep posting and ghosting. You need to build a brand, grow a tribe, and make your message move people. And guess what? That all starts with you—your authenticity, your story, and how you show up online.I just got back from an EPIC private mastermind at my homie Garrett Gunderson's house in Salt Lake City— the New York Times bestselling author and founder of Wealth Factory. And let me tell ya, the viral secrets these powerhouse entrepreneurs dropped were pure gold.We laid it all out—from building real wealth to telling the truth online to making your content go viral (without a big team or big budget). So here's the download—straight from my mastermind notes—to help YOU Happy Hustle smarter, not harder.Segment 1: “Wealth Starts From Within” – Garrett GundersonLet's get real—wealth isn't just about stacking Benjamins.Garrett dropped this truth bomb: “Grow yourself before you grow your wealth.”So many entrepreneurs skip the meaning for the money. They chase outcomes, but forget the process. Garrett's concept?Life design is the foundation of sustainable wealth. Here's what hit home:Build your Human Life Value. Want more money? Add more value.Money is a reason, not the reason. Let that sink in.Design a meaningful life before you build your business model.Journal prompt: What does true wealth mean to YOU? (Seriously—try this.)Happy Hustle Hack:Don't build a business that drains your soul. Focus on impact, alignment, and fulfillment FIRST. That's the real flex. Segment 2: “Tell the Truth, Build the Tribe” – Sean WhalenIf you've seen Lions Not Sheep, you know Sean doesn't hold back. His strategy? Keep it 100% real. When I asked him, “How do you know what to share?”, he looked at me and said, “Everything.” Here's what I took away:Authenticity attracts. Share your scars and your journey. You'll be judged anyway, so share what's TRUE.Real > Polished. Activated energy > high production.Be polarizing. You're not pizza—you don't need to please everyone.Sean built a multimillion-dollar brand just speaking into his iPhone. No camera crew. No fancy edits. Just TRUTH.Over 1M garments sold, billions of views, and 51k+ coaching clients.Happy Hustle Hack:Challenge yourself—30 days of radical truth-telling on social. Reels, long-form posts, whatever. Build that trust. That's what creates traction.Segment 3: “Make a Movement, Not Just a Post” – Warren PhillipsWarren aka the Non-Toxic Dad is on a mission—literally. He's got 880k followers in 2 years, but it's not because of trends. It's because he's real, consistent, and deeply connected to his why.He shares 3 times a day, 6 days a week. But he didn't start there. He began with 3 posts a week. Progress, not perfection. Here's the sauce:Authenticity + Consistency = The Algorithm's Best Friend.First 5 seconds matter. Hook hard.Be relational, not transactional.Talk about what you LOVE. Share your quirks.Track your metrics, tweak what's not working.Educate. Entertain. Empower. (The 3 E's of content that hits.) Happy Hustle Hack:Batch your content. Plan on Sundays. Use your quirks, not just scripts. And remember: A thousand true fans can make you millions. As someone who's built the Happy Hustle movement—anti-grind, pro-life balance—I'm here to say:Stop trying to fit in. Start standing out by showing up as YOU.Whether it's podcasting, content creation, or just telling your story, your vibe will attract your tribe.Bonus tips from the mastermind:Humor increases memory retention by 3x. (Use it!)Text-message style headlines get clicks.Sell privately, give value publicly. One idea per video.Your content is your 2025 business card. Make it soulful, smart, and you.Entrepreneurship in 2025 isn't about chasing trends. It's about leading movements, being unapologetically YOU, and using social media to serve—not just sell.Connect with Cary!https://www.instagram.com/caryjack/https://www.facebook.com/SirCaryJackhttps://www.linkedin.com/in/cary-jack-kendzior/https://twitter.com/thehappyhustlehttps://www.youtube.com/channel/UCFDNsD59tLxv2JfEuSsNMOQ/featured Get a free copy of his new book, The Happy Hustle, 10 Alignments to Avoid Burnout & Achieve Blissful Balance https://www.thehappyhustle.com/bookSign up for The Journey: 10 Days To Become a Happy Hustler Online Coursehttps://thehappyhustle.com/thejourney/Apply to the Montana Mastermind Epic Camping Adventurehttps://thehappyhustle.com/mastermind/“It's time to Happy Hustle, a blissfully balanced life you love, full of passion, purpose, and positive impact!”Episode Sponsors: If you're feeling stressed, not sleeping great, or your energy's been kinda meh lately—let me put you on to something that's been a total game-changer for me: Magnesium Breakthrough by BiOptimizers. What if everything you've learned about love and relationships is only scratching the surface?Let's be real—today's dating and relationship landscape is confusing AF. With tech distractions, shifting roles, and a world that's constantly hustling, finding deep, meaningful connections feels more complicated than ever. Masculine and feminine energies are out of whack. Men feel unsure of their roles. Women are rising into power, and society hasn't quite caught up with how to balance it all. That's why I had to bring Dene Logan to The Happy Hustle Podcast. Dene is a licensed marriage and family therapist, an author, and a podcaster who's been in the trenches helping couples figure this stuff out. And in this episode, we unpack everything you're not being taught about relationships, self-discovery, and the energies that shape your love life. This convo goes way beyond “relationship advice.” We talked about the deep stuff—how people are seeking fulfillment outside themselves, how modern dynamics have shifted, and why couples often wait until things fall apart before asking for help. Dené broke down how self-awareness and healing are the real secrets to attracting the right partner. And she even dropped some wisdom about celibacy being a tool for growth, which, let's be honest, most people aren't even thinking about when they're out there swiping left and right. One thing that hit home was how love has been devalued in today's hustle culture. We chase money, success, followers—but forget that relationships are sacred. Dene reminded us: real relationships require intention, mindfulness, and communication. Not just when things go bad—but every damn day.We also got into some fire convo around masculine and feminine energy—and before you roll your eyes or think it's all woo-woo, listen up. These energies aren't about gender. They exist in all of us. The masculine craves direction, purpose, and trust. The feminine wants to be seen, to feel flow, and to be held in presence. The problem is, most of us were never taught how to honor and balance both.So now we've got dudes confused about how to show up. Women stepping into their power and getting labeled “too much.” And couples who love each other, but feel disconnected because no one taught them how to communicate their needs and hold space for each other's growth.Dene and I also touched on the sneaky issues wrecking intimacy these days—like porn addiction, lack of presence, and trying to force traditional roles that don't work anymore. It's wild, man. In a world where you can connect with anyone instantly, more people than ever feel alone. And the truth is, community and honest, face-to-face connections are the antidote. One of the things I loved most about this convo is that it's not about being perfect. It's about being conscious. Dené says the couples who make it long-term aren't the ones who avoid conflict—they're the ones who keep showing up with curiosity, gratitude, and a willingness to grow. Instead of nitpicking your partner's flaws, focus on what they do well. Watch how fast the energy shifts when appreciation becomes the default. She also reminded me that longevity in a relationship doesn't equal success. Just because you've been together for 10 years doesn't mean you're aligned or fulfilled. Real success is about shared vision, mutual respect, and daily efforts to connect, not coasting through out of habit or fear.We even got into how celibacy, for some, can be a reset. A way to cut the noise and figure out what you want, who you are, and what kind of energy you're bringing to the table. It's not about punishment—it's about powerful clarity. And you know I had to ask her about what makes love last. Her answer? Growth. If you're not growing, together or individually, the relationship stalls. Personal development fuels relational development. And when both people are doing their inner work? That's when the magic happens. This episode is a must-listen if you're an entrepreneur trying to build your empire and nurture a meaningful relationship at the same time. Because the truth is—you can't pour into your business if your personal life is draining you. And honestly, what's all that success for if you don't have anyone to share it with?So if you're tired of surface-level connections… if you're wondering why the spark is fading… or if you're just ready to understand how to show up more powerfully in your relationships—this episode is your guide. We get into the juicy stuff—real stories, practical insights, and tools you can use right now to deepen intimacy, grow through challenges, and stay aligned with your truth. It's time to bring more depth, more awareness, and more sacredness into your relationships. Because love isn't a distraction from the hustle—it's the fuel that keeps your soul in the game. In this episode, we cover:00:00 Introduction to Love and Relationships04:30 Understanding Masculine and Feminine Energies11:10 Navigating Modern Relationship Dynamics18:43 The Importance of Self-Discovery in Relationships24:30 Attracting the Right Partner in Today's World27:44 Reconnecting in Relationships34:00 Navigating Relationship Changes39:40 The Importance of Mindfulness in Relationships45:00 Gratitude and Appreciation in Love52:00 The Essence of Happy Hustlin'What does happy Hustlin mean to you? Dene says Happy Hustlin is just really trusting that whatever is meant for me will not miss me. So as long as I'm in alignment with following my bliss, normally everything that I'm meant to experience comes to fruition. So it's like worrying less and trusting.Connect with Denehttps://www.instagram.com/dene.logan/https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCY1-RvtCuTlvGgbv3OkVNqQhttps://www.tiktok.com/@denelogan?_t=8hBC24D9WsE&_r=1Find Dene on this website: https://denelogan.com/Connect with Cary!https://www.instagram.com/caryjack/https://www.facebook.com/SirCaryJackhttps://www.linkedin.com/in/cary-jack-kendzior/https://twitter.com/thehappyhustlehttps://www.youtube.com/channel/UCFDNsD59tLxv2JfEuSsNMOQ/featuredGet a free copy of his new book, The Happy Hustle, 10 Alignments to Avoid Burnout & Achieve Blissful Balance https://www.thehappyhustle.com/bookSign up for The Journey: 10 Days To Become a Happy Hustler Online Course https://thehappyhustle.com/thejourney/Apply to the Montana Mastermind Epic Camping Adventure https://thehappyhustle.com/mastermind/“It's time to Happy Hustle, a blissfully balanced life you love, full of passion, purpose, and positive impact!”Episode Sponsors:If you're feeling stressed, not sleeping great, or your energy's been kinda meh lately—let me put you on to something that's been a total game-changer for me: Magnesium Breakthrough by BiOptimizers. You want more abundance, stronger relationships, better sleep, and real fulfillment—but here's the truth: it's not about doing more, it's about feeling more… grateful.I used to grind hard—building a business, chasing success, but feeling empty. Burnout hit me like a truck. What changed everything? Daily gratitude.According to a Gallup Workplace study, teams led by grateful leaders have higher morale and lower turnover. And you know what eats profit faster than a bad month? Employee churn. Retaining your team saves serious money.Gratitude also helps you:Attract aligned clients (and repel energy vampires)Build loyalty (try handwritten thank-you cards—game over)Create a team culture where people feel seen and valuedThe ROI on gratitude? Off the charts. Here's the game-changer I use every single morning. I call it the 3-3-3 Ritual:Write down 3 things you're grateful forList 3 people you appreciateCelebrate 3 wins (big or small) from yesterdayThat's it. Simple. Fast. Effective. You can jot it in your journal, type it into your notes app, or even record it as a voice memo. But trust me, doing this daily will shift your frequency—and as the Law of Attraction says, like attracts like.Gratitude also helps in leadership and business. Grateful teams perform better. Grateful leaders build loyal clients. It's not fluff—it's strategy. So if you're chasing goals but still feel off, try the 3-3-3 ritual this week. Gratitude isn't just a good vibe—it's a frequency that attracts more of what you want. Now go out there, write those gratitudes down, and Happy Hustle your dream reality.Connect with Cary!https://www.instagram.com/caryjack/https://www.facebook.com/SirCaryJackhttps://www.linkedin.com/in/cary-jack-kendzior/https://twitter.com/thehappyhustlehttps://www.youtube.com/channel/UCFDNsD59tLxv2JfEuSsNMOQ/featuredGet a free copy of his new book, The Happy Hustle, 10 Alignments to Avoid Burnout & Achieve Blissful Balance https://www.thehappyhustle.com/bookSign up for The Journey: 10 Days To Become a Happy Hustler Online Course https://thehappyhustle.com/thejourney/Apply to the Montana Mastermind Epic Camping Adventure https://thehappyhustle.com/mastermind/“It's time to Happy Hustle, a blissfully balanced life you love, full of passion, purpose, and positive impact!”If you're feeling stressed, not sleeping great, or your energy's been kinda meh lately—let me put you on to something that's been a total game-changer for me: Magnesium Breakthrough by BiOptimizers. Say hello to Walter Piper, PhD, who's made the jump and soared from delving into the depths of the brain in academia to pioneering data science for brain-computer interfaces (BCIs) at Neurable. Welcome to the "Neurocareers: Doing the Impossible!" podcast and its fresh episode, "A Leap from Academia to Industry: Data Science for BCIs with Walter Piper, PhD, at Neurable." Dr. Walter Piper shares with us his extraordinary career journey from neural circuits behind stress to creating AI-powered algorithms for BCIs. Walter's academic creds are impressive, with a suitcase packed with achievements, including six published research articles and a chapter in the Encyclopedia of Mental Health. But here's the twist: he decided to leave academia and leap into the neurotech industry. Was Walter's path a straight line? Sometimes, yes, but at times, it felt more of a climb, scramble, and occasionally a sprint, especially with the whole pandemic backdrop. He swapped his lab coat for a data scientist's hat by diving into Springboard's data science BootCamp, learning Python, and doing some heavy lifting with networking—all online. The result? He landed at Neurable, where he's now doing what seems like magic: meshing neuroscience, psychology, and tech to invent BCIs! So, what's Walter's story? How did he tackle the big move? What's his day like at Neurable, and what BCI wizardry is he creating with his team? If you're curious about the nuts and bolts of neurotech, want to hear about a day in the life of a neurotech whiz, or just need a nudge to make your own leap into something new, this episode's for you. Tune in, sit back, and dive into the fascinating, mind-bending world of neurotech with Dr. Walter Piper! Enjoy! About the Podcast Guest: Walter T. Piper, Ph.D., is a research engineer at Neurable, where he applies his background in neuroscience, psychology, and data science to create EEG algorithms and AI tools for Neurable's brain-computer interfaces. Walter's professional journey started with a decade of research in academic neuroscience, where he studied neural and molecular circuits responsible for Pavlovian conditioning, stress, and social dynamics. Upon finishing his PhD in 2020, Walter switched his focus to data science and industry, aiming to bring neuroscience out of the lab and into the lives of consumers. He navigated this career transition during the pandemic by doing Springboard's data science bootcamp and networking online, ultimately arriving at Neurable. Neural Implant podcast - the people behind Brain-Machine Interface revolutions
I've actually been in contact with Doug Clinton for many months but only now have done an episode. He is a managing partner at Loup Ventures which has recently invested money in companies such as Neurable and former guest Paradromics. In this episode, we talk about why their firm invests in companies which have a longer time horizon like medical device companies rather than software companies like in Silicon Valley. He talks about what he looks for in a company when investing and why their companies don't worry about FDA approval and even see it as a benefit. Doug is also the host of the Neurotech Podcast which covers many similar things in the field of Neural Implants but with a eye more towards the investment side of things.
Dr. Ramses Alcaide is the CEO and Founder of Neurable, a Loup Ventures portfolio company focused on non-invasive BCI. Ramses earned his undergraduate degree at the University of Washington in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and a Ph.D. in Neuroscience from the...

Neurable will es möglich machen. Nicht auszudenken, was damit alles möglich wäre. Wow. Geektalk.
