TODAY'S EPISODE:  Welcome to the Daily Radio Bible! On this third day of May, join Hunter, your Bible reading coach, as we continue our journey through the Scriptures on day 124. Today's readings take us through 2nd Samuel 7, 1st Chronicles 17, Psalm 2, and Matthew 20. Together, we'll reflect on God's promises to David, explore themes of mercy and kindness, and hear Jesus' call to serve others out of love. Hunter offers spiritual insights, heartfelt prayers, and encouragement for us to open our hearts to God's presence, reminding us that even at our lowest, we are truly seen and deeply loved. Let's dive in and discover the joy and transformation that comes from following Him! TODAY'S DEVOTION: He sees us and he stops for us. Jericho is described as the lowest city on earth, and in Scripture it's the place where the blind receive their sight. Today, as we encounter two unnamed blind men in Jericho, crying out for mercy and to be able to see, we start to see Jericho as a kind of metaphor for our own lives. Each of us comes to a place where we can't see, where we've been brought low by the circumstances of life. It may not be a city, but we all find our private Jericho. At these low points, when our vision is gone and there seems to be no way out, we're reminded by these two blind men that we can cry out to Jesus. We can ask him for mercy, for sight, for the healing and hope we need. The Scripture tells us that Jesus stops. He hears. He sees us, even at our lowest, and he asks, "What do you want me to do for you?" It's not indifference that meets our weakness, but deep, compassionate attention. This is the heart of our God—to see us, to care for us, to heal us, and to invite us to follow him. When we know that we are truly seen and loved by God, we find the strength and the joy to follow where he leads. It was love that compelled those two newly-seeing men to follow Jesus, and it is the knowledge of his love that empowers us, too, to keep following, even from the lowest points of our journey. And so today, when you find yourself in your own Jericho, unable to see the road ahead or brought low by life's trials, remember the invitation to cry out. Remember that Jesus still stops. He still sees. He still calls, heals, and loves. Let this love guide your steps forward behind him today. That's a prayer that I have for my own soul. That's a prayer that I have for my family, for my wife, my daughter, and my son. And that's a prayer that I have for you. May it be so. TODAY'S PRAYERS: Lord God Almighty and everlasting father you have brought us in safety to this new day preserve us with your Mighty power that we might not fall into sin or be overcome by adversity. And in all we do, direct us to the fulfilling of your purpose  through Jesus Christ Our Lord amen.   Oh God you have made of one blood all the peoples of the earth and sent your blessed son to preach peace to those who are far and those who are near. Grant that people everywhere may seek after you, and find you. Bring the nations into your fold, pour out your Spirit on all flesh, and hasten the coming of your kingdom through Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.   And now Lord,  make me an instrument of your peace.  Where there is hatred let me sow love. Where there is injury, pardon.  Where there is doubt, faith. Where there is despair, hope.  Where there is darkness, light.  And where there is sadness,  Joy.  Oh Lord grant that I might not seek to be consoled as to console. To be understood as to understand, to be loved as to love.  For it is in the giving that we receive, in the pardoning that we are pardoned, it is in the dying that we are born unto eternal life.  Amen And now as our Lord has taught us we are bold to pray... Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven, give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our tresspasses as we forgive those who trespass against us, and lead us not unto temptation, but deliver us from evil, for thine is the Kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen. Loving God, we give you thanks for restoring us in your image. And nourishing us with spiritual food, now send us forth as forgiven people, healed and renewed, that we may proclaim your love to the world, and continue in the risen life of Christ.  Amen.  OUR WEBSITE: www.dailyradiobible.com We are reading through the New Living Translation.   Leave us a voicemail HERE: https://www.speakpipe.com/dailyradiobible Subscribe to us at YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@Dailyradiobible/featured OTHER PODCASTS: Listen with Apple Podcast DAILY BIBLE FOR KIDS DAILY PSALMS DAILY PROVERBS DAILY LECTIONARY DAILY CHRONOLOGICAL

TODAY'S EPISODE: Welcome to the Daily Radio Bible! In today's episode, Hunter invites us to journey through Scripture on this second day of May, reading from 1 Chronicles 16, Psalm 106, and Matthew 19. Together, we'll reflect on the faithfulness of God throughout history, the enduring nature of His covenant love, and Jesus' teachings on marriage, divorce, and what it means to truly follow Him. Hunter unpacks the heart of God behind the law, highlighting how Christ—the true bridegroom—offers hope, transformation, and freedom for our hard hearts. The episode concludes with times of prayer, encouragement to stay curious and open to God's presence, and a reminder that you are deeply loved. Join us as we warm our hearts by the fire of God's love and listen for what the Spirit is saying today. TODAY'S DEVOTION: He is God's answer for our hard hearts. In Matthew 19, Jesus speaks about the law—not as a set of rules meant to bring life, but as a concession to our hard hearts. When asked about divorce, he makes it clear: the laws were never God's original intention. They are an acknowledgment of our rebellion, our separation, our waywardness. The law meets us in our brokenness, but it is not the answer. God's answer is not a rule but a relationship. The answer is pictured in marriage—a union where two become one, where love and faithfulness are at the center. At the very first miracle, Jesus turns water into wine at a wedding, and at the last, all of creation gathers for the great marriage feast of the Lamb. All of Scripture, from beginning to end, is pointing us to the Bridegroom—Jesus. He alone is the One who transforms and heals the hard places within us. The keepers of the law came to trap Jesus, but he was not interested in debate. Instead, he offers a new way—a way to freedom and newness of heart, a miracle of transformation for all who would let him work. Jesus is the answer for our condition, the One who brings hope and changes hearts of stone into hearts alive with love. It is in him that all things are made new, where the impossible becomes possible, and where grace meets us in our deepest need. The law shows us our limits, but Christ gives us his life. Let us receive him, the Bridegroom who has come for us. Let him soften what has grown hard. Let him make us new. Step into the life that is yours in Christ—the life of joy, reconciliation, and love. That's the prayer that I have for my own soul. That's the prayer that I have for my family, for my wife and my daughters and my son. And that's the prayer that I have for you. May it be so. TODAY'S PRAYERS: Lord God Almighty and everlasting father you have brought us in safety to this new day preserve us with your Mighty power that we might not fall into sin or be overcome by adversity. Jesus gives us a name to use for God. Matthew 6:9: “This, then, is how you should pray: Our Father…” Right there. The first two words of the prayer. Our Father. Before anything else… before the structure, before the requests, before the “give us” and “forgive us”… Jesus starts with identity and relationship. Our Father. That's how He teaches us to approach God. He is our Father and we are his beloved daughter. Now here's something really beautiful – It is believed Jesus originally spoke this in Aramaic, the everyday language of the people he was speaking to. The word would have been “Abun.” Later, when written in Greek, we see the word “Abba.” And these words “Abba” and “Abun” weren’t formal, distant titles. These were words a child would use for their father. Daddy. Papa. A word of closeness. A word of trust. A word of belonging. So when Jesus says, “This is how you should pray,” He is saying… come to God like this. Come as a child comes to a loving Father. Not distant. Not afraid. Not trying to impress. But close. Known. Loved. Now let me ask you…. Who is this God we pray to? Are we bothering Him with our requests? Are we even doing it right? Does the Creator of the universe really hear us… and if He does, does He really want to? Scripture tells us to talk to God about everything—all the time. Not with fancy or showy words, but with our real, everyday language. Philippians 4: 6-7, “Don't worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” And this conversation with our Father, our Abba, our Papa hold tremendous power! James 5:16 says, “The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results.” That's you. Righteous not because of what you've done, but because of your faith in Jesus. And your earnest prayer—the sincere one, the one that comes from relationship and not obligation—that prayer has power. Power to move mountains. Power to break chains. Power to make the impossible possible. But so many of us miss out on that power because we don't really understand who we're talking to. I missed out for years, and maybe you are too. All too often we approach God like we're interrupting Him… like we should keep it short, wrap it up, or say it just right. But Jesus tells us there's a different way and a better way to approach God … “Our Father.” That's our Abba. Our Papa. Not a distant God. Not an annoyed ruler. Not an angry man with a stick. Our Father. I sometimes listen to the teaching of a man named Bill Lokey. At the time of his latest recording, he had been battling cancer for several years, continually given only weeks to live. And this man decided, if he was only going to live a very short time, he would actually LIVE! His final recording was just 2 weeks before what he referred to as “a step from the boat to the dock”. Yes, his final breath and step into eternity. I'm literally listening to a man in his final 2 weeks of life teach me how to truly LIVE. I'm learning many things from Bill and his legacy, but the one thing that has impacted me most is an interaction he had with God during his private prayer time. He was in the car, and he began praying as he normally did, and God interrupted him and said, “I want you to call me Papa.” This man had followed Jesus for over 60 years, and he said in that moment, he experienced a whole new level of relationship with his Creator. He's not just God. He's not just the Maker of Heaven and Earth. He's not just the God of all gods. He's not just the Almighty. He is your Father, and he wants you to call him Papa. Papa. Let that settle into your soul right now. Romans 8:14–16 (MSG) says,“This resurrection life you received from God is not a timid, grave-tending life. It's adventurously expectant, greeting God with a childlike ‘What's next, Papa?' God's Spirit touches our spirits and confirms who we really are. We know who he is, and we know who we are: Father and children.” Oh… to be adventurously expectant. Did you wake up this morning expecting adventure from a Father who loves you? Did you wake up to this new month of life remembering He is for you and not against you? That He has already gone before you and made a way? If you didn't, it's so easy to feel stressed or overwhelmed… worried about your future and dreading the day ahead. But you have received a resurrection life. A life that has been raised up. A life that is new and fresh. A life that can break free of overwhelm. And when God's Spirit touches your spirit, you know who you are. My friend, may you've forgotten who you really are. Maybe life has gotten loud and busy and you're just trying to keep up. Today, Abba, Father, Papa is inviting you to slow down, come close and remember again. If you've lost yourself along the way, pause right here. Let truth settle in to you. You are not who the world says you are. You are not who your past says you are. When His Spirit meets yours, you remember your identity. And when you know who you are… then you know who He is. Father. Daddy. Papa. We know who He is, and we know who we are: Father and children. So let me ask you…. How do you sound when you pray? Do you come as a confident daughter, trusting in His love for you? Or do you come like a beggar… hoping maybe you catch Him in a good mood? Or maybe you've stopped coming at all… because somewhere along the way, you lost your belief in His personal love for you. The enemy would love nothing more than for you to see God as distant, cold, and unapproachable. But God is saying, “No… I'm your Papa God.” I used to wonder… am I bothering God? Should I just ask once and be done? Should I keep it short, like a quick summary prayer that covers everything? Sometimes I think we treat God like there's a limit, like we should hurry. But that's not what Jesus taught. Our Father. A Father doesn't get annoyed when His child keeps talking. A Father doesn't say, “You've already asked that.” A Father leans in, listens again and does everything he can for his beloved girl. That's who he is and that's who you are to him. I think about how much it means when a child says “Mama” or “Daddy.” The first time… it changes everything. And it never stops mattering. When my adult children call me Mama, my heart responds instantly. And that's just a glimpse—a tiny glimpse—of how God responds when you call Him Father. He's not rolling His eyes. He's not checking the clock. He's not saying, “Wrap it up.” His heart overflows. And here's what is so incredible… The same God who created the universe… Who holds everything together… Who is all-powerful, all-knowing, ever-present… He invites you to call him Daddy. Papa. Abba. That is the relationship He wants with you. But let's be honest for a moment. For some, this is a hard name to hear and receive. You see, for many, this is hard because our idea of “father” has been damaged. Maybe your earthly father fell short. Maybe he fell absent. Maybe that image just doesn't feel safe or real. And that matters. But don't miss this… God is not a reflection of your earthly father. He is the perfection of what a father was always meant to be. A Father who chose you. Ephesians 1:5 says, “He decided in advance to adopt you into His family… and it gave Him great pleasure.” You are chosen. Wanted. Adopted. I've seen the power of adoption up close. To be chosen. To be claimed. To finally belong. That's what God has done for you. He didn't just allow you into His family—He wanted you there. You are His daughter. So what does this relationship actually look like? It looks like pulling up an extra chair and inviting Him into your day. It looks like sitting with Him… talking with Him… or sometimes just being with Him. It looks like saying, “Hey Papa… what's next?” Not out of fear… but out of excitement. Not out of obligation… but out of relationship. What if you lived your life like that? Adventurously expectant. Waking up saying, “Papa God, You've given me this day… so what are we going to do together?” What if prayer wasn't a task… but a conversation? What if God wasn't distant… but right beside you? Papa. Feel the closeness of that. Feel the safety of that. Feel the invitation in that. You are not a burden. You are not an obligation. You are his child. He is here. He is available. And he wants nothing more than a life giving relationship with you. Yes, he is all the things that are far above all the other things. Yes, he is to be honored. Yes, he is to be respected. Yes, he is to praised. And yes, he is to be YOURS! Your Father. Your Abun. Your Abba. Your Papa. So today… pull up a chair. Invite Him into your space. Don't worry about saying the right words. Just be with Him. And maybe start right here: “What's next, Papa? I'm ready.” Because this life you've been given…. It's not timid. It's not small. It's a resurrection life. And it's meant to be lived… side by side with your Father. TODAY'S EPISODE: Welcome to the Daily Radio Bible, where we journey together through the pages of Scripture each day. On this first day of May, day 122 of our adventure, Hunter leads us through readings from First Chronicles 14 and 15, Psalm 132, and Matthew 18. Today's episode explores David's victories and preparations for the Ark of the Covenant, the promise God made to David in the Psalms, and Jesus' teaching on forgiveness and humility in the Kingdom of Heaven. We'll reflect on the transforming power of mercy and the invitation to a generous heart—and spend time together in prayer for our families and the world. Join Hunter as we listen, reflect, and begin a new day grounded in God's love and grace. TODAY'S DEVOTION: The King is merciful, but the debtor is not. His debt has been paid in full. Mercy has been shown to him, yet this man will not show mercy to others. Why is he behaving this way? Why is his heart not changed by the mercy of the King? Why is he so desperate to collect from others now that he himself is debt free? Maybe it's because he resents the King. The heart of the flesh never wants to admit its debt. When the debt is pointed out, and even when it is forgiven, the heart doesn't receive it as such. The heart of the flesh is still trying to pay back and earn, to rid itself of the shame by extracting it from others. The debtor wants to free himself of the shame. He is desperate never to be in that position again. But the heart that is ready to receive mercy is evidenced by the desire to offer mercy. It realizes the debt was too great and there was no way to ever repay it. The King has absorbed the loss because of his generous heart, and this is true for you and me too. King Jesus has absorbed the loss, the debt — he took on the insurmountable debt on Calvary's mountain, and he said, "forgiven." We can never collect enough from others to pay back what we owe. We must simply receive from the generous heart of the King. That's it. And when we do, we're changed by his loving, forgiving, and merciful heart. And we can, and we must, offer the same heart of generosity to others, forgiving the debts of others as we ourselves have been forgiven. Today, let's live with that generosity of heart, for we have been forgiven. That's the prayer that I have for my own soul. That's the prayer that I have for my family, for my wife and my daughters and my son. And that's a prayer that I have for you. May it be so. TODAY'S PRAYERS: Lord God Almighty and everlasting father you have brought us in safety to this new day preserve us with your Mighty power that we might not fall into sin or be overcome by adversity. In this concluding installment of Vos Group's extended journey through Geerhardus Vos's Biblical Theology: Old and New Testaments, Camden Bucey and Lane Tipton reflect on one of the most significant themes in Vos's account of redemptive history: the relationship between the kingdom of God and the church. Focusing especially on Matthew 16 and Jesus's promise, "I will build my church," they explain that Christ is not introducing an unrelated people, but bringing the covenant people of God into a new, eschatological mode of existence through his death, resurrection, ascension, and the outpouring of the Holy Spirit. The church is not a mere institutional add-on to the kingdom. Rather, in its inaugurated form, the church is the kingdom of God as constituted by the Spirit of the ascended Christ. The episode also explores the church's indestructible life, the meaning of the "gates of hell," the centrality of the means of grace, and the already/not-yet character of the kingdom's coming. Along the way, Camden and Lane also mark the end of this long-running series on Biblical Theology and preview the next phase of Vos Group on The Teaching of Jesus concerning the Kingdom of God and the Church. Lilith keeps showing up: in video games, TV shows, ancient mythology, and feminist websites. But she also shows up in the Bible. And most Christians have no idea.Michael Miller sits down with Nelly Van Sickle, pastor of Evergreen Calvary Chapel and host of The Dancing Toaster podcast, to trace the biblical and historical case for Lilith as a genuine supernatural entity. Starting with Isaiah 34:14 and working outward through the Septuagint, the Vulgate, and the Dead Sea Scrolls, this isn't mythology dressed up as scripture. It's scripture first, history second.Nelly also shares what happened when he started researching her. The demonic oppression that began almost immediately. And what finally made it stop.Along the way they cover the "Adam's first wife" theory and why Genesis 2 shuts it down, the connection between Psalm 91:5-6 and "the terror of the night," a Dead Sea Scroll exorcism hymn that names a lilit-type entity by class, and the question of what happened to the women who cohabitated with the sons of God in Genesis 6.If you've been curious about Lilith and wanted an answer that actually starts with the biblical text, this episode is for you.Scripture References: Isaiah 34:14 | Psalm 91:5-6 | Genesis 4:22 | Genesis 6:1-4 | Leviticus 17:7 | 2 Chronicles 11:15 | Deuteronomy 12 0:00 – Introduction5:52 – Supernatural Encounters16:24 – Lilith in Isaiah 3427:15 – Ancient Near East Context39:19 – Adam's First Wife Debunked45:51 – Dead Sea Scrolls Evidence56:07 – Female Demonic Entities1:03:56 – Final ThoughtsINTRO TO DELIVERANCE MINISTRY: https://www.theremnantradio.com/intro-to-deliverance-ministry___________________________________________INTRODUCTION TO DELIVERANCE MINISTRY eCoursePRESALE: $100 OFF through May 1 LEARN MORE: https://www.theremnantradio.com/intro-to-deliverance-ministry Subscribe to The Remnant Radio newsletter and receive our FREE introduction to spiritual gifts eBook. TODAY'S EPISODE: Welcome to the Daily Radio Bible for April 30th. In today's episode, we mark the end of another month on our journey through the scriptures, reading from 2 Samuel 6, 1 Chronicles 13, Psalm 68, and Matthew 17. Join Speaker A and Speaker B as we witness David's celebration and challenges with the Ark of God, reflect on God's power and provision in the Psalms, and ascend the mountain with Jesus in the story of the Transfiguration. Together, we'll discover the hope, wisdom, and transformation found in God's Word, spend time in prayer, and be reminded that, even on life's difficult journey, God's joy and love are our strength. TODAY'S DEVOTION: TODAY'S DEVOTION: The pathway to real transformation is seen here on this mountain. This story is about far more than Jesus' clothes being transformed, made dazzling white, whiter than snow. It's about you and me. It's about the world and all things being transformed. In this story, we are offered both a vision and a voice. The first thing we see is that Jesus—he's the final word. He's the one we're told to listen to, over and above all else. Not Elijah, not Moses, not the writings, not the Torah, not Peter, not me, not you. Peter witnesses this amazing moment—there he is, suddenly, Elijah and Moses are speaking with Jesus on the mountain. And Peter, out of fear or pride, or probably both, shouts out, Lord, it's good for us to be here. If you wish, I'll make three tabernacles here. One for you, one for Moses, one for Elijah. Peter thinks somehow he's going to have some final say here. And so we hear him say those words: I will make a tabernacle. Other translations render it, let us build, but "let us build" is not the final word. No, those words are often born out of fear and pride, but they will never be the final word. Individuals and kingdoms and churches are always offering this as the final word. Let us build, but fear which makes us cower and pride which puffs us up will all be subsumed in the end by God's voice, by God himself, the living Word. And we see that here—suddenly a cloud envelops them and a voice comes from the cloud. The voice they hear is the Father saying, this is my son that I love. Listen to him. At the sound of his voice, they're terrified. They fall face down to the ground. It's at this point that Jesus comes and touches them. Says, get up. Don't be afraid. When they look up, nobody is there but Jesus—Moses, Elijah, gone. Only Jesus remains. No more voices, no more conversations. Only Jesus, the one who is the final word. He's the one that remains. And he, the living Word, will envelop all of our fearful pride. His voice will break through all things, and he will make all things new. So let's hear the Father's voice on this mountain today. He's pointing us to his son. And not just on this mountain, but on a different mountain. This whole episode is pointing us to Calvary's mountain. And not just Peter, James, and John are being drawn to Calvary's mountain—no, he's drawing all of humanity there to himself. When the Son of Man is lifted up, he will draw all humanity to himself, that he might transform all things, including you and me. And the prayer of my own heart today is that I'll hear the Father well, that I'll see what Peter, James, and John saw—that Jesus is the final word. He is the living Word, and through him, he's making all things new. That's a prayer that I have for my family, for my wife, my daughters, my son. And that's the prayer that I have for you. May it be so. TODAY'S PRAYERS: Lord God Almighty and everlasting father you have brought us in safety to this new day preserve us with your Mighty power that we might not fall into sin or be overcome by adversity. One of the practices that I believe is important for the church in America is to regularly evaluate and interrogate the systems we operate by. What can often pass as biblical is actually just business. What we believe to be Christian is actually just American. When we evaluate the systems we are shaped by, we are more prepared to pivot when our systems hurt people. When the efficiency of our churches miss what the Bible calls us to. Is it all bad? Of course not. Is it all broken? Of course not. The church imperfect. We are imperfect. I am far from perfect. But if we don't have the courage to ask questions we can focus more on organizational progress than we do pastoral care. My conversation today is with my good friend Michael Olson. Michael is an author, musician, and worship leader. He's a recording artists. He traveled the world playing drums for Michael W Smith. Over the last 16 years he's led worship at two of the fastest growing churches in America. He's also written a beautiful new memoir called Daddy Set The Church on Fire: A Journey Toward Restoration. At the heart of this book is the reality that Jesus is making all things new. The church is broken. We are broken. This world is broken. But if we have eyes to see, there is redemption all around. This is a conversation for you if you follow Jesus. If you've been hurt by the church. If you haven't been hurt by the church. If you're a worship leader and feel like a cog in an endless machine of efficiency. If you feel broken by the weight of loss and pain. We talk all about it. Topics Covered: Developing a theology of suffering The highs and lows of growing up Pentecostal What we can learn about Spirit and Truth from Eugene Peterson The diversity of the body of Christ within the attractional mega church, reformed church, and Pentecostal church The tension between organizational progress and pastoral care The story behind Michael’s book title, “Daddy Set The Church on Fire” Resources Mentioned: Show Sponsor: Planning Center Michael’s Website Daddy Set The Church on Fire by Michael Charles Olson Songs of Restoration by Michael Charles Olson Show Sponsor: This episode is brought to you by Planning Center, helping you sync all your ministry details across your whole church. Planning Center has become so essential to how I manage a team, that it's almost impossible to consider local church ministry without it anymore. Today, I want to leave you with a PCO pro-tip. Does this sound like a familiar situation? It's the end of the week. You're about to leave the office when you suddenly think: Did all of our volunteers confirm for Sunday? You scroll through the schedule and sure enough—there's a gap. Instead of allowing yourself to spiral into a panic, try this: In Services, Planning Center has gap alerts. Turn them on, and you'll get a heads-up days before service if positions are still unfilled or unconfirmed. No more end of the week scrambling. Most teaching on this gift goes one direction: detect the demon, cast it out, move on. But what if that's only a fraction of what Paul actually meant? In 1 Corinthians 12:10, Paul lists the gift of discernment of spirits and says nothing else. The silence has fueled real debate, and in this episode Michael Rowntree walks through the three most serious scholarly positions and tells you where he lands. Michael examines the Source Testing View (held by Wayne Grudem and D.A. None of them are dismissed lightly. But they're not all equally convincing. But stay for the story at the end. It happened at a Remnant Conference. A quiet prayer room. TODAY'S EPISODE: Welcome to the Daily Radio Bible for April 29th, day 120 of our journey through the Scriptures. In today's episode, Hunter guides us through 2 Samuel 4 and 5, Psalm 139, and Matthew 16. We'll witness the political intrigue in the early days of King David's reign, reflect on God's intimate knowledge of our hearts through the poetry of David, and listen as Jesus challenges both his disciples and religious leaders to see life from God's perspective rather than their own—warning against the "dangerous trap" of self-centeredness. Join us as Hunter draws us into prayer and spiritual reflection, reminding us that tending to our souls blesses not just ourselves, but those we love—and that love showed up for each of us. TODAY'S DEVOTION: It's a dangerous trap. That's what Jesus calls it—to see things only from your own point of view, from your own perspective. It's a dangerous trap to let your own plans, ambitions, or understanding be the lens through which you interpret everything that comes. When Peter tried to persuade Jesus away from the cross, Jesus rebuked him harshly—Get away from me, Satan. You are a dangerous trap to me. You are seeing things merely from a human point of view, not from God's. What a sober warning. It's dangerous to hold onto your life and your agenda apart from God. To insist that life be about you, your comfort, your plans, your will—this is the trap. Jesus says, "If you try to hang on to your life, you will lose it. But if you give up your life for my sake, you will save it." To make your life a project about your own ego or status or pleasure is to forfeit what matters most. But Jesus gives us a way out of this trap. Through the cross, he offers us the way to true life. The cross is not just a symbol—it's the place where you have been restored, forgiven, made new, brought into the family of God. In the cross, your true identity is declared: a beloved child of God. Through Christ's victory on the cross, the chains of self-centeredness and spiritual blindness are broken. The cross proclaims what God has done and what you have become. Your soul, lost and searching, is found and made new in him. And to pursue your life apart from Christ is to miss that—it's to forfeit your soul. But to see what God has done is to step into your true self, your redeemed self, participating in his life and love. On the cross, we see what it means to love—to give, to forgive, to walk alongside others in their pain. This is the life Jesus invites you into—a life that is fully alive, fully surrendered, fully his. So I pray that for myself, for my family, and for you: that we would not fall for the trap of living from our own point of view, but instead, live from the perspective of the cross, of Christ's victory and love and self-giving. That we would see ourselves and our lives through what he has done, and that we would be set free to love and live as he has made us to be.

Dynamic airline ticket pricing, Blackhawk helicopter altitude instrumentation, a U.S. Government equity position in Spirit Airlines, the NTSB preliminary report on the fatal LGA accident, capacity cuts at airports, AI-enabled ATC, the Digital Tower Technology Coalition, and SpaceX Starlink in-motion aviation plans. Aviation News JetBlue sued over claims it uses customers' personal data to set ticket prices Airline executives have told Congress that personal data is not used to dynamically set ticket prices. However, a complaint has been filed in federal court alleging that JetBlue uses “trackers” and shares data with third parties to dynamically set prices. This stems from an exchange on X where a passenger complained about a ticket price increase and JetBlue responded by saying the passenger should try “clearing your cache and cookies or booking with an incognito window.” JetBlue later stated that the response was incorrect and added that “fares can change at any moment as seats are purchased or as inventory is adjusted based on demand”. Army aviation chief: D.C. crash ‘wasn't about' outdated Black Hawk cockpit At a media briefing on Bell's MV-75 tiltrotor, The Air Current asked the commanding general of Army Aviation, Maj. Gen. Clair Gill, whether last year's fatal midair collision between a U.S. Army Black Hawk helicopter and an American Airlines regional jet changed the Army's thinking about fielding the Black Hawk's partial replacement. Gill answered, “No, it's completely unrelated.” The MV-75 will have “a more advanced cockpit, but the D.C. crash really wasn't about whether or not it was an advanced cockpit or not.” This implied that faulty altimeters and outdated avionics in the accident helicopter did not substantially contribute to the crash. The NTSB found that altitude exceedances on the Washington, D.C., helicopter routes were likely exacerbated by inaccurate altimeters on older UH-60L “Lima” Black Hawks, including the one involved in the crash. Possible Spirit rescue fuels new fears about government involvement in business The Federal government is considering an equity deal to keep Spirit Airlines afloat. Under the proposal, the airline would receive $500 million, providing additional liquidity as Spirit works to emerge from bankruptcy. The U.S. government could own up to 90% of the airline, according to sources. Reportedly, the government would charge Spirit a reasonable interest rate and move to the top of the debtor list. CBS News says, “The loan would be protected by Spirit assets that would exceed the government’s costs, and would provide taxpayers with a warrant — the right to own 90% of the company after it emerges from bankruptcy.” Also, “The Pentagon would use Spirit’s excess capacity for transporting troops, military cargo, or other missions. The airline would then likely be sold to another carrier.” See:  Spirit Airlines nears deal with Trump administration for $500 million rescue package White House mulls using Defense Production Act in Spirit Airlines takeover Ted Cruz pours cold water on Trump administration plan to bail out Spirit Airlines: TERRIBLE idea’ NTSB Report LGA Air Canada Incident [PDF] On March 22, 2026, Jazz Aviation LP flight 646 (operating as Air Canada flight 8646), a CRJ-900, was substantially damaged after it collided with Rescue 35 (R35), an Oshkosh Striker 1500 aircraft rescue and firefighting (ARFF) vehicle, while landing on runway 4 at LaGuardia Airport. The captain and first officer were fatally injured.  Of the 2 flight attendants, 72 passengers, and 2 crew of the ARFF vehicle, 39 were transported to local hospitals with 6 serious injuries reported. The airplane was a Part 129 scheduled flight from Montréal–Trudeau International Airport (YUL), Montreal, Quebec, to LGA. A review of the ASDE-X system data by the FAA determined that the system did not generate an aural or visual alert on the ASDE-X displays in the LGA ATC tower to warn controllers of the potential runway conflict. FAA orders Chicago O’Hare International Airport to cut over 300 planned flights daily between May and October The FAA is ordering flight reductions at Chicago O’Hare International Airport over the summer travel season. 3,080 daily flights were scheduled for peak summer days in 2026. Now O’Hare flights will be restricted to 2,708 per day from May 17 to Oct. 24. This change is motivated by capacity and operational delay concerns. The FAA said it intends to bring in more air traffic controllers, speed up controller training, reduce delays by optimizing routes and airspace, and increase communication between the agency, the airport, and airlines during high-risk periods. FAA quietly developing AI enabled air traffic management system The Strategic Management of Airspace Routing Trajectories (SMART) is an artificial intelligence-powered software tool designed for air traffic management. People familiar with the project say it could fundamentally change how the U.S. airspace system operates. Palantir, Thales, and Airspace Intelligence (ASI) are competing on the initiative. Operational start could be as early as later this year. The system could enable the FAA to plan for bottlenecks and anticipate schedule conflicts before an aircraft even leaves the ground. This contrasts with today’s human-centric, reactive ATC structure. Digital Tower Technology Coalition Pushing Remote ATC The Digital Tower Technology Coalition “is an alliance of stakeholders advocating for the FAA's implementation of the digital tower program, as outlined in the FAA Reauthorization Act of 2024. By leveraging U.S. airports, regional partners, air traffic controllers, original equipment manufacturers, and federal partners, our coalition seeks to ensure an efficient and transparent process while strengthening U.S. global competitiveness in cutting-edge aviation technology.” See the Press Release: Introducing the Digital Tower Technology Coalition, Representing Bold Commitment to Innovation in Effort to Modernize U.S. Aviation [PDF] SpaceX Cuts Starlink Aviation Prices – New GA Plans Start at $200/Month When SpaceX imposed a 100 mph speed cap on all non-aviation plans, general aviation pilots were forced to switch to more expensive aviation-specific tiers. That generated an outcry from the flying community, including a petition with over 9,500 signatures. GA pilots had been using Starlink Roam for $50 per month with a 100GB data cap. Now SpaceX has made some changes to its in-motion aviation plans. Aviation 300MPH is renamed General Aviation Local 50GB, the price is lowered to $200 per month (from $250), and the monthly data limit is increased to 50GB (from 20GB). Additional data can be purchased in 50GB blocks for $25 (from $10 per GB). The Aviation 450 MPH plan is now General Aviation Global 50GB, which is still $1,000 per month, but the monthly data cap has been increased to 50GB (from 20GB). Additional data can be purchased in 50GB blocks for $100 (from $50 per GB). This week on Miles To Go, Ed and Richard revisit the evolving situation around Spirit Airlines and what the future may hold for budget carriers as costs continue to rise. Even if Spirit survives, the bigger question remains: can the ultra-low-cost model still work in today's environment? That question becomes even more relevant when looking at Frontier's pricing. Flights that once defined "cheap travel" are creeping closer to legacy airline pricing — raising questions about whether the value gap is disappearing. They also take a closer look at Chase's Points Boost feature for Sapphire Reserve cardholders. While the headline numbers look appealing, the actual footprint is extremely limited — and may not deliver the value many travelers expect. Plus, a deeper discussion on airline loyalty, why perception still matters more than reality for many travelers, and how new partnerships and offer strategies could shape the next phase of points and miles. What if the power to live a truly godly life has been hidden in plain sight all along? Scripture reveals a divine secret that transforms how we live. In this series, "The Mystery of Godliness," Duane Sheriff teaches that godliness isn't achieved through human effort or willpower, but through understanding and connecting to this revealed mystery—God manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen by angels, preached among the Gentiles, believed on in the world, and received into glory. This mystery reveals that Christ now lives in believers, empowering us to live godly lives through grace, the cross, the gospel, and the Holy Spirit. While we are not saved by works, we are saved for good works—and grace teaches us to deny ungodliness and live righteously.Click for FREE offer ➡️https://pastorduane.com/landing/the-mystery-of-godliness/

Men, most of us are drifting. We've been told to go it alone, to suppress our struggles, and to settle for a life defined by comfort rather than calling. We grind away at work but feel isolated at home, carrying a weight that we were never meant to bear in silence.  In this live session recorded at The Men's Forge, Ryan, Larry, and Dwayne sit down to answer the real questions men are facing in the trenches of life. This isn't about sitting back and taking notes - it's about stripping away weakness and gaining the clarity required to step fully into your role as a husband, father, and leader.  We dive deep into the "Trinity of Man," the difference between commitment and compliance, and why most men fail to lead their wives effectively because they mistake dumping baggage for vulnerability. Whether you are struggling to forgive a distant father or trying to navigate a marriage that has drifted into a "logistical partnership," this conversation is a challenge to stop living passively and start forging a legacy that lasts.  SHOW HIGHLIGHTS 00:00 - Introduction 04:54 - Welcome to the Men's Forge AMA 05:19 - Transforming Your Family Legacy 08:41 - The Trinity of Man: Body, Soul, and Spirit 17:20 - Non-Negotiable Systems for Young Men 21:20 - Leading in Resistant Environments 24:20 - Vulnerability vs. Tenderness: The King's Wall 38:31 - Escaping the Comparison Trap 44:01 - Balancing Overthinking and Overdoing 48:01 - Waiting for the Tide: Preparation and Timing 54:40 - Marriage First: The Foundation of the House 01:04:30 - Leaving Yesterday's Man in the Past 01:07:13 - Affirming and Raising Strong Daughters 01:12:00 - Discipline Through Specificity and Calm 01:18:00 - From Pedestals to Humanizing Your Father 01:21:50 - The Reps of Daily Connection 01:29:35 - Final Charge and Closing Encouragement Battle Planners: Pick yours up today! (Acts 8:26-35) Drawing on Philip's obedience to the Spirit, this lesson highlights the importance of divine appointments, active evangelism, and moving beyond passive or institutional approaches to faith. Philip was led by an angel and the Spirit to meet the Ethiopian official, and Philip used Scripture as a road map. This lesson stresses practical evangelistic tools: look for people God is preparing, use the written Word to point others to Jesus, ask questions to open spiritual conversations, and provide clear direction toward Christ using the roadmap of the Scripture. Can Christians Be Cursed? Responding to Smart Christians Channel

Corey Minor of the Smart Christians Channel recently posted a detailed response to Michael Miller's appearance on Deep End with Lecrae, challenging the biblical basis for generational curses and deliverance ministry. In this episode, the Remnant Radio team engages that critique directly with respect for Corey as a Christian brother and honest disagreement with his conclusions. The core question on the table: Can believers be cursed? Can unbelievers? Is anyone born under a curse? And is the term "generational curse" even biblical language? The guys unpack the Hebrew words ārar, qālal, and ālāh, expose what they believe is an etymological fallacy at the heart of Corey's argument, and trace the theology of blessing and curse from Genesis 3 through the Deuteronomic covenant all the way to Galatians 3 and the new covenant promises of Jeremiah 31.They also wrestle honestly with their own disagreements. Miller makes the case for demonic spirits traveling down family lines (citing Mark 9 and the demonized boy who'd suffered "since infancy"). Rowntree prefers the language of "generational consequences" over "generational curses." And Lewis draws a distinction between God as active agent vs. passive agent in the Deuteronomic curses -- with both Job and 1 Kings 22 shaping his thinking.Part 2 is coming. The team still needs to address whether unbelievers can curse others, how curses actually operate metaphysically, and why not everyone in a family line seems to be equally affected.0:00 – Introduction & Episode Roadmap10:24 – Corey Minor Clip One14:14 – Responding to Clip One31:09 – Hebrew Words for Curse36:48 – Covenant Curse Framework56:42 – Jeremiah 31 New Covenant1:00:09 – Automatic vs. Active Freedom1:04:59 – Deuteronomic Curses Today1:13:27 – ClosingINTRODUCTION TO DELIVERANCE MINISTRY: https://www.theremnantradio.com/intro-to-deliverance-ministry___________________________________________INTRODUCTION TO DELIVERANCE MINISTRY eCoursePRESALE: $100 OFF through May 1 LEARN MORE: https://www.theremnantradio.com/intro-to-deliverance-ministry Subscribe to The Remnant Radio newsletter and receive our FREE introduction to spiritual gifts eBook. One Year Bible Podcast: Join Hunter and Heather Barnes on the Daily Radio Bible, a daily Bible‑in‑a‑year podcast with 20‑minute Scripture readings, Christ‑centered devotion, and guided prayer. This daily Bible reading and devotional invites you to live as a citizen of Jesus' kingdom, reconciled, renewed, and deeply loved. TODAY'S EPISODE: Welcome to the April 28th episode of Daily Radio Bible. Join Hunter, your Bible reading coach, as we journey through second Samuel, first Chronicles, and Matthew. Today, we witness the rise of David amid conflict, explore the loyalty and strength of his supporters, and listen as Jesus challenges tradition, faith, and humility in dramatic encounters with religious leaders and a desperate Gentile woman. Through scripture, reflection, and prayer, we are invited to discover faith that overcomes barriers and to remember that, above all, we are dearly loved. Let's get started. TODAY'S DEVOTION: A group of Pharisees and a solitary Gentile woman come to Jesus, and at first, it seems as if both are offended by him. The Pharisees certainly are—Hunter notes how Peter even says to Jesus, "Don't you realize you offended the Pharisees by what you just said?" Jesus has criticized their traditions, called them hypocrites, blind guides, and so they walk away offended, convinced Jesus isn't measuring up to their standards of holiness, still clinging to their way of interpreting Scripture and tradition. But the Gentile woman, though she seemingly has even more to take offense at—after all, Jesus has appeared to compare her to a dog—does not take offense. Instead, Hunter draws out the contrast: while the Pharisees approach Jesus in reliance on their own righteousness, seeking to justify themselves, the woman comes in humility, in desperate need, and in faith for the sake of her daughter, ready to worship Jesus. Even as an outsider, a Gentile, Hunter points out, she calls him Lord and Son of David. Unlike the religious insiders, this woman sees and believes in what the Pharisees cannot. She leaves knowing she is dear to God—not because she lived up to some prescribed way or standard, but because she came in faith. She leaves with a full heart and a daughter delivered. This woman's faith wins Jesus' commendation. Out of her trust in God's love comes healing, deliverance, and restoration. Today, we are invited to join her—trusting that we, too, are dear to God, loved by him, and that from his love will flow the healing, deliverance, and fullness of life that are ours in Christ. That's the prayer Hunter has for his own soul, for his family, and for all of us. May we lay down self-righteousness, self-justification, tradition clung to for its own sake, and come instead with open, humble faith. May we know we are loved and find in God all we truly need.
