On the 73rd Episode of the Album Review Crew of Shout It Out Loudcast, Tom & Zeus welcome back special guest, the host of the Busted Open Radio on Sirius XM and Shout It Out Loudcast Hall Of Famer, Dave LaGreca, to review the 1981 classic ACDC album "For Those About To Rock We Salute You." ACDC was just coming off their major breakthrough album Back In Black with their classic lineup of new singer Brian Johnson, the incredible dual guitars of brothers, Angus & Malcolm Young and the underrated Cliff Williams on bass and Phil Rudd on drums. For Those About To Rock We Salute You made it to #1 on Billboard album charts and eventually went 4 X platinum. This was ACDC's first #1 album led by their title track which even has a video that was in heavy rotation on MTV. This album continued the ACDC formula of guitar rock at its best. The band was becoming legendary and this album cemented them as one of the greatest bands in all of rock history. This was Tom's pick and as usual the boys breakdown and dissect the tracks and rank the songs. They then rank the album and the album cover against the previous albums reviewed on the Album Review Crew. So tune in to find why are we discussing Billy Ocean, CM Punk and Nicole Bass oh yeah and ACDC! What happens when you finally get the diagnosis that explains your whole life… and what doesn't it change at all?In this powerful episode of ListenABLE, Angus sits down with disability advocate and podcaster Kelly Berger, who shares her journey living with an ultra-rare form of congenital muscular dystrophy, Collagen 6. After years of misdiagnosis, Kelly received her genetic confirmation as an adult, a moment that brought clarity, community and a new sense of direction, without changing who she fundamentally is.Kelly speaks candidly about the emotional weight of diagnosis, navigating healthcare systems, building community, and what real accessibility actually looks like in daily life. From the realities of infrastructure in the US to the gaps between performative inclusion and genuine integration, this conversation goes well beyond awareness and into what meaningful change requires. We also dive into Kelly's podcast 'Wheel Talk', her advocacy work, and how she's helping reshape how disability, rare disease and identity are spoken about in public spaces. This is a conversation about resilience, identity, leadership and how visibility changes everything.Living with Collagen 6 congenital muscular dystrophyThe emotional impact of finally receiving a genetic diagnosisRare disease advocacy and disability representationAccessibility in infrastructure and public spacesNavigating healthcare systems and misdiagnosisDisability identity and prideBuilding community with and without disabilityLanguage, inclusion and allyshipPerformative vs meaningful disability representationCreating podcasts within the disability communityWhy visibility mattersKelly Berger is a disability advocate, podcaster and rare disease community leader living with Collagen 6 congenital muscular dystrophy. Episode 16 of Toph's Top Five, the 2T&A spinoff sweeping the nation, focuses on group of Aussie alpha dogs which had some incredible song names -- and some actual songs that weren't so shabby either. Angus beef. Top choice cuts. TT5 is back and, this time, we've got the biggest balls of them all.
Blending history with a completely reimagined footprint, the National Western Stock Show (NWSS) is steadily transforming into an updated space for commerce, connection and consumer outreach. Both guests have family roots that run deep at the Denver location. Brent Vieselmeyer, Vision Angus, remembers stories of his dad riding the train along with his 4-H steers to show in the big city. From the Catch a Calf contest, to judging in college to meeting his wife there, each period holds memories. Luke Lind, Five Rivers Cattle Feeding, has his own stories. From having breakfast with his dad in the Yards during the feeder calf sale to his family showing pens bulls and earning a heifer wrangle project. Both men have a deep appreciation for the history of the NWSS, and that's why they're so invested in ensuring the future of it. From Lind's current service on the board of directors to the special sales and Angus events that Vieselmeyer has helped organize, there's a lot to get excited about. Hear them talk about everything from the new layout to the ways they're trying to engage every audience from the commercial cow man to their urban consumers.HOSTS: Miranda Reiman and Mark McCully GUEST: Brent Vieselmeyer and Luke Lind Brent Vieselmeyer, along with his wife, Tina, started Vision Angus more than 25 years ago. They now operate Brent's home farm near Amherst, Colo. They raised their sons Austin and Alex on the ranch, and Alex is back on the operation full-time. They focus on delivering balanced, predictable and quality cattle to their customers. Brent has been instrumental in organizing a commercial cattlemen's program and an Angus sale at the National Western Stock Show for several years, and they are active exhibitors in the yards. Luke Lind, is senior vice president and chief risk officer of Five Rivers Cattle Feeding. He holds a degree in animal science from Colorado State University and later studied finance at the University of Denver. In this episode, we're joined by Angus Fletcher, professor of story science at Ohio State's Project Narrative and a keynote speaker for the 2026 ACA National Conference in San Diego. Angus brings together neuroscience, literature, and psychology to explore how camp uniquely cultivates grit, growth, and emotional resilience in young people—and why these qualities are declining in traditional K–12 environments. Drawing on his research and upcoming keynote, Angus explains what camp gets right: giving young people the chance to be their own role models and develop character in ways that feel organic, personal, and lasting. We dive into powerful ideas like intentional wonder, story sharing, and the concept of “no hero like you,” and discuss how camp professionals can help campers carry grit and growth beyond the summer. Whether you're a camp director, educator, or youth development professional, this conversation will leave you feeling energized, affirmed in the impact of camp, and inspired to be even more intentional in the work you do every day. We've been taught that business success comes from logic, prediction, and data-driven strategy. But what happens when uncertainty makes all of that break down?In this episode of The Value Creators Podcast, Hunter Hastings speaks with Angus Fletcher, author of Primal Intelligence, about why entrepreneurs don't succeed by predicting the future — but by creating it.Angus Fletcher is uniquely qualified to draw on both neuroscience and entrepreneurial theory, and to add perspective from a field he himself pioneered, story science. He runs a special research lab at Ohio State University called Project Narrative, and its insights have been applied in US Army Special Forces, NASA, Hollywood and Silicon Valley. Angus explains how the human brain is designed for uncertainty, not optimization, and why intuition, imagination, emotion, and judgment are not flaws that interfere with rationality, but essential decision-making systems for entrepreneurial action.Key Insights:Why logic and prediction fail in conditions of true uncertaintyHow primal intelligence helps entrepreneurs act when the future is unknowableWhy storytelling, not data, is the brain's primary way of making sense of the worldIf you want to rethink intelligence, leadership, and entrepreneurship for a world that can't be predicted, this conversation offers a powerful new lens.Resources:➡️ Learn What They Didn't Teach You In Business School: The Value Creators Online Business CourseLearn more about Angus FletcherConnect with Angus Fletcher on LinkedInGet the book "Primal Intelligence. Mary Chapin Carpenter's latest album, 'Personal History,' is as lush in production and color as the beautiful farmland she calls home in Virginia. Carpenter will often wake up early for sunrise walks with her dog, Angus, and one of several daily cups of coffee (of course) to start the day. In our Basic Folk conversation, she reflects on how living in this serene farmhouse has brought her peace, drawing parallels to Carl Sandberg's "creative hush." Mary Chapin also discusses her method of "song walking" as a tool to overcome writer's block, often accompanied by her pets. She goes on to touch on her evolving relationship with fame and the importance of surrounding herself with grounded people; she reveals her younger self was shy, and talks about how being less concerned with others' opinions has empowered her over time. We cover her connection to the Celtic music community and how it inspired her collaborative album 'Looking for the Thread' with Scottish musicians Julie Fowlis and Karine Polwart. That record was her first with Josh Kaufman as producer and it worked so well, she decided to have him produce her new solo album, too. We also chat about "hyphen-gate," due to her double first name, the process of feeling visible and valued, and the impact of Elizabeth Strout on her perspective of songwriting.Follow Basic Folk on social media: https://basicfolk.bio.link/Sign up for Basic Folk's newsletter: https://bit.ly/basicfolknewsHelp produce Basic Folk by contributing: https://basicfolk.com/donate/Interested in sponsoring us? I greet you in Jesus' precious name! It is Friday morning, the 2nd of January, 2026, and this is your friend, Angus Buchan, with a thought for today. We start in the Book of Leviticus 19:18: “You shall not take vengeance, nor bear any grudge against the children of your people, but you shall love your neighbour as yourself: I am the Lord.” When the Lord says, “I am the Lord”, it is a serious commandment. Then we go straight to the Book of Mark 12:31: ”And the second, like it, is this: ‘You shall love your neighbour as yourself.' There is no other commandment greater than these.”The second greatest commandment in the Bible, after loving God, is to love your neighbour, to love him as you love yourself. That is quite a commandment. If you look in the Book of Leviticus, it talks about having no grudge against your neighbour. I looked up the Oxford Dictionary to find out the literal meaning of the word, “grudge” and grudge means, “persistent feeling of ill-will or resentment, resulting from a past injury or insult.” Now, as we go into a brand spanking new year, let us let go of any issue that we have with our neighbour, because it is baggage, it is heavy and it just weighs us down. Just let it go. “Ja, but Angus, I can't. You know my father and mother have preferred my brother or my sister more than me.” Well, that is what you think, but you don't really know, do you? Maybe what you didn't understand was, you had tremendous giftings and your brother or your sister didn't have that, so mom and dad tried to compensate to help your brother or your sister. They love you just the same. Remember the prodigal son when he came back and he had wasted all his money. His father was so happy to see him come back, remember? But the older brother was very upset. He said, “You didn't even give us a little goat that we could sacrifice, and you killed the fattest calf for my brother, who has been out, wasting his life. Remember what the father said, “Aah but, I have got you and all my inheritance is yours! I am just trying to help your brother.”Today, let it go and let us start to live a brand-new year without any resentment or ill-feeling towards anyone else for any past issue. Leave it at the foot of the Cross and press on.Jesus bless you and have a wonderful day,Goodbye.

I greet you in Jesus' precious name! It is Friday morning, the 19th of December, 2025, and this is your friend, Angus Buchan, with a thought for today. We start in the Book of Psalms 105:2: ”Sing to Him, sing psalms to Him;Talk of all His wondrous works!” Then we go straight to 1 Thessalonians 5:18: ”In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God…” I read a beautiful little reading this morning by the famous hymn writer, Francis Ridley Havergal, and this is what she says. She says, ”We talk about the telescope of faith but I think we want even more the microscope of watchful and grateful love.” She says, ”Apply this to the little bits of our daily lives, in the light of the Spirit and how wonderfully they will come out.” Yes, we want to look through the telescope of faith and see all the big things in life, but she says maybe we need to get that microscope out and thank God for all the little things He has done for us.You say, ”What little things?” Well, maybe you passed your exams. “Yes, but I didn't get a hundred percent, Angus!” No, but you passed your exams and surely that's worth praising God for, and that farmer, ”No, I didn't really get a bumper crop this year.” But maybe you are able to pay your costs and that's worth thanking God for. Counting your blessings and naming them one by one, and then all of a sudden, things won't look so hopeless, will they?Do you remember that little song, it's a hymn, that goes something like this;Count your blessings, name them one by oneCount your blessings, see what God has doneCount your blessings, name them one by oneCount your many blessings, see what God has doneIsn't that wonderful? Today, count those blessings! Thank the Lord that you woke up this morning and you can see a brand new day, and who knows? This may be the day that the Lord will come and take us home to be with Him in paradise forever, but until then, count your blessings!Jesus bless you and goodbye.

When Josh Worthington was driving up and down the highway, working with Angus breeders across the state, he couldn't imagine a better job than executive director of the Missouri Angus Association. But then he and his wife, Corry, started raising their family, and he knew he needed a job that kept him at home more often. Worthington Angus was born and quickly grew to include two production sales a year. Today, he's focused on helping his customers market their calves, whether that's by providing genetics that will be in demand by the ultimate consumer or by offering an outlet for bred females. This conversation covers everything from Josh's journey to the Angus breed and mentors along the way to how he defines balance in his breeding program and who does chores on Christmas. HOSTS: Miranda Reiman and Mark McCully GUEST: Josh Worthington Josh Worthington is a first-generation Angus breeder who calls Dadeville, Mo., home. I greet you in Jesus' precious name! It is Monday morning, the 15th of December, 2025, and this is your friend, Angus Buchan, with a thought for today. If we go to the Gospel of Matthew 8:3: “Then Jesus put out His hand and touched him, saying, “I am willing; be cleansed.” Immediately his leprosy was cleansed.” Jesus healed the leper! Jesus was always found with the sick, the poor, and the rejected of society. As I read this account this morning, my mind went back to my dear wife, Jill's, mother and father, who came out from England after the Second World War to Nigeria and then to Northern Zambia, and what they did was nurse the lepers. They ran leprosy colonies. How many people know about that? Not many, but I want to tell you one thing, the lepers know about it and so does Jesus.Today, maybe you are thinking, “What is it that I have done which is of any worth?” Oh my dear friend, that cup of water, that piece of bread, that visit, that smile - they all count. An old lady came to Shalom Ministries, but before she came, she stood up in front of her family, on her 70th birthday and said, “I am going full-time for Jesus!” Then she came, and she said, “I am coming to join you, Angus”, and she came to stay with us until Jesus took her home. Jimmy and Moira arrived in their little car on the farm one day. I will never forget it. I was clearing some land, and they informed me that they had been sent by God to come and help us on this farm. What a lovely couple! They stayed with us until Jesus took them home.Today, just give the Lord what you have got. The Lord built this ministry on this farm, not by the famous, not by the rich, not by the influential. No, but by the whosoever's, the widows, the people who are old, the people that maybe no one knows their name, but I want to tell you, I know their names, and more importantly, Jesus knows their names. Today, I want to encourage you again to use what you have for the Lord and do it with all of your heart, and that is all that He requires of you, and He will do the rest. Have a wonderful Christmas Season and Jesus bless you,Goodbye.

The move came Saturday through an executive order. It directs both the Justice Department and the Federal Trade Commission to form separate task forces, each charged with taking “all necessary and appropriate actions” to look into the food supply chain. That includes examining whether foreign ownership in food-related industries is driving up grocery prices or posing a national or economic security risk. In the order, Trump said anti-competitive behavior — especially by companies under foreign control — threatens the stability and affordability of America's food supply. He pointed to past settlements in which some companies paid millions to resolve price-fixing allegations. The administration, he said, intends to determine whether such practices are raising the cost of living for Americans and whether they pose any security concerns. The President also said that if Attorney General Pam Bondi uncovers criminal collusion, the Justice Department could pursue criminal charges, including convening grand juries. The task forces are required to provide their first updates to Congress within 180 days, and again within the first year of the investigation. This executive order follows Trump's earlier directive for the DOJ to immediately investigate alleged collusion and price manipulation among U.S. meatpackers. Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins and Attorney General Bondi voiced support for the effort, even as reports surfaced that a previous DOJ probe into beef-packer concentration, launched in 2020, ended without charges. According to the Wall Street Journal, Rollins, along with trade adviser Peter Navarro and Homeland Security Adviser Stephen Miller, has recently met with Trump to discuss rising beef prices.
