Today we're going to do something fun. Are you ready?(Press the PLAY button to hear the audio version of today's memo.)I will tell you how to advertise if you will tell me the nature of your business.Advertising can be broken into 6 major categories:Business-to-Business (B2B)Niche Marketing (Niche-S) with a short purchase cycleNiche Marketing (Niche-L) with a long purchase cycleShort Purchase Cycle (B2C-Short) Business-to-ConsumerLong Purchase Cycle (B2C-Long) Business-to-ConsumerMixed Purchase Cycle (B2C-Mixed) Business-to-ConsumerBusiness to Business.B2B: If you are in a business that sells to other businesses, tight targeting will be essential to your success, but you can easily identify the customers you need to target.Their addresses, phone numbers, and email addresses are readily available and direct mail, phone calls and emails are cheap. If you have some extra dollars, you can place ads in the appropriate trade magazines and websites to elevate your brand.Features, benefits, pricing, delivery, and payment terms are important elements within your message. How well your B2B ad campaign works will depend entirely on what you say.It will depend on what you say.Focus on saying the right things. Now let's talk about Niche Marketing with a Long Purchase Cycle.Niche-L: If you sell a specialty product that appeals to an affinity group, social media is a powerful thing. A powerful thing.Danny sells the most rare, weird, exotic, and inexplicable guns the world has ever known. Firearms collectors are an affinity group. Collectible firearms are a Niche Market with a long purchase cycle.Danny will soon be producing a new daily short and posting it on YouTube 365 days a year. Each short video will be Danny showing you a different gun and telling you the story behind it. He is not going to shoot the gun. He is just going to tell you its story.Danny doesn't need to find gun collectors. Gun collectors will find him. YouTube is the world's second-largest search engine. Danny just needs to produce interesting content.Brian Brushwood taught me that.Would you like to have an invisible garage door like the one that Batman passes through to enter the Bat Cave?Max can do that for you.But invisible garage doors can only be installed in houses that have no masonry. Max needs to locate charming houses with wooden exteriors. He can knock on their doors, leave a door-hanger, or mail them a glorious postcard. Max sells garage doors to a Niche Market with a long purchase cycle.Do you sell an intangible Niche product with a long purchase cycle? Are you a sales trainer, an ad writer, a nutritional expert, a motivational speaker, a psychic healer, an entertainer?Build fame. Ride the tidal wave of fame. Fame leads to word-of-mouth. Be remarkable. Advertising is a tax you pay for not being remarkable.Be remarkable.Next week we'll talk about Short Purchase Cycle Niche Marketing and B2C.We'll talk about B2C.You and me.Roy H. You've seen K-9s track suspects and detect drugs, but a new generation of dogs is focused on something different — firearms. From school hallways to community events, these highly trained dogs are helping keep people safe while reshaping what modern security looks like. In this episode of the Policing Matters podcast, host Jim Dudley talks with Andre Lemay, former DOJ firearms task force supervisor and founder of Bullseye K9 Detection, about how firearm detection dogs are redefining safety in schools and communities. Lemay introduces listeners to Rocket, the German shepherd who's become a campus favorite — both protector and morale booster. He explains the science behind “scent pictures” that let dogs detect everything from Glocks to ghost guns, the rigorous monthly training that keeps them sharp, and why collaboration among educators, parents and students is key to program success. You could even be planting bulbs on Thanksgiving Day,” Erica explained. Text a Message to the ShowSo a few years back I was at a police department promotion ceremony and began chatting with a guest who was an ATF civilian analyst. Every gun story he told was fascinating. Every insight he had on firearms was spot on. He was good humored and friendly, so I asked him right there, would you ever consider coming on the Hey Chaplain podcast? We can talk guns, we can talk the ATF, I just want to get you on the show. He was very agreeable, but he said, we'll have to run it by legal first. Three years later…We now have Mark Brock here to talk about crime scenes, firearms and ammunition, working for the ATF as a retirement job, and which sidearm is best for police officers.Music is by Wes HutchinsonaHey Chaplain Podcast Episode 125Tags:ATF, 1911, Ammunition, Armorer, CSI, Crime Scenes, Cold Cases, Deputy, Firearms, Forensics, Glock, Guns, Sidearms, Sheriff, Shooting, Sights, Buchanan County, Kansas City, St. Joseph, Missouri Support the showThanks for Listening! How do you embrace fear and failure to build a multi million dollar business, shred heavy metal guitar solos and break land speed records in a custom built car? In this episode of the On Adventure Podcast, I sit down with Tom Kubiniec—entrepreneur, former heavy metal guitarist, and the so-called "gun storage guru." From his days tearing up the music scene to building a global business in military weapon storage, Tom's journey is one wild ride. We dive deep into what it means to stake a claim in life before you've "earned it," why failure should be embraced (and quickly), and how creativity fuels not just business, but bold living. A killer insight from Tom: "You don't know where you're going to land until you jump. As you're falling, you will find a place to land. If you're not happy with that one, jump again." We also explore his adrenaline-pumping pursuits: restoring rare cars, racing across the Utah salt flats, and finding peace in silence while bow hunting. This episode is about pushing limits, whether in the boardroom, behind a guitar, or out in the wild. If you're looking for inspiration to go all-in on your ideas or just want a reminder of how short life is, this one hits home. Episode Highlights: [1:12] - Tom's journey from unknown rock guitarist to global leader in military gun storage [6:05] - The pivotal moment of "claiming" expertise before it was proven—and why it worked [13:25] - How public speaking and guitar technique both benefit from slow, intentional practice [17:00] - Fail fast: Why Tom says failure is not the enemy but the pathway to innovation [25:55] - The birth of a game-changing locking system after a live simulation revealed a major flaw [33:02] - Creating personas in business and why it's not about being fake—it's about solving problems [39:45] - Breaking a land speed record with a 750cc custom car: the build, the danger, the payoff [44:00] - Why silence in the woods and watching a forest wake up is Tom's ultimate reset [54:10] - Final reflections on living fully, embracing fear, and making the most of the one life we get Links & Resources: SecureIt Tactical Tom's YouTube Guitar Performance (Layla in DADGAD) Bonneville Speed Week Info Closing Remarks: If this conversation with Tom fired you up to take bold steps in your own adventure, make sure to follow the podcast so you never miss an episode. "[T]he waiting period is just an artificial delay on possession" (p. 20), "a standardless, temporary disarmament measure" (p.21) according to the Republican federal appeals court judges on the 10th Circuit, appointed by Trump and Bush. This is part 2 of a multi-part series following the injunctive relief individuals got on 19 August 2025, when the US 10th Circuit Court of Appeals ruled against the Democrat Legislature in New Mexico on the 7-day "cooling off period" wait for firearms. And the 3 judge panel split along Republican/Democrat lines , 2 to 1, with both George W. Bush and Trump Republicans on the same side of the Constitution against an Obama judge. We're back with EP-102. Matt just returned from working with the National Guard Marksmanship Training Center at Camp Robinson, training sniper school instructors, tuning up at Twisted Barrel, and shooting the Two Rivers PRS Match, so we dive into what the Guard school is doing right, how competition sharpens instruction, and a clean, mechanical-first checklist for diagnosing “mystery fliers” (torque, mounts, ring caps, scope tracking, muzzle device, neck tension, ammo verification). We cover when to re-zero after travel, why Matt retires 2-day match barrels around ~1,800 rounds, the match-prep flow (strict cleaning cadence, single-variable changes, confidence management), and gear takeaways including the modular MDT LSS Gen3 chassis, Silencer Central's Banish Speed K/9K, JP pressure bolts on large frames, and the Barrel Burner app for tracking round counts. This week on Acceptable Accuracy, Tyler goes solo to share what he's been teaching kids all summer in the Target & Sports group at church. From Nerf guns to AR-15 dry fire drills, the focus has been on instilling safety, responsibility, stewardship, and how to be “dangerous under control.” With highlights like laser tag night and range day, Tyler unpacks how small lessons in safety and responsibility reflect a bigger truth—those who are faithful in little can be faithful in much.
On September 29, 2025, authorities had a press conference where they discussed the latest developments in an infamous quadruple murder — the yogurt shop murders — in Austin, Texas. Detective Daniel Jackson of the Austin Police Department mentioned but did not name a 1998 cold case homicide that occurred in Kentucky that they linked to Robert Eugene Brashers. On December 6, 1991, Robert Eugene Brashers is believed to have bound, sexually assaulted, and murdered 17-year-old Jennifer Harbison, 15-year-old Sarah Harbison, 17-year-old Eliza Thomas, and 13-year-old Amy Ayers. Their bodies were found in the burning I Can't Believe It's Yogurt! shop in Austin, Texas. Police also found evidence from a .380 firearm linked to Brashers. Evidence from that same gun also ties into the 1998 Kentucky case.On November 6, 1998, somebody murdered 43-year-old Linda Rutledge. She was killed in her parents' business, the Nixon Hearing Aid Center, shot multiple times. Then the building was set on fire. “The enemy isn't just the killer — it's the clock.” Firearms instructor and legal expert Massad Ayoob breaks down the truth about school shootings, gun laws, and the fight for civil rights in America. Listen to why the first 30 seconds determine who lives or dies — and how the Israeli model of armed, trained school staff can stop mass killers before police even arrive. Massad and Michael also touch on: • The emotional weapon the gun-control lobby uses — and why pro-2A advocates must fight with both facts and feelings. • The racist roots of gun control — from post-Civil War “may issue” laws to modern “sensitive area” bans. • Why 29 states now recognize constitutional carry, and how the patchwork of gun laws puts honest citizens at risk. • The truth about 18- to 20-year-olds and AR-15 bans — and what America's best marksmen can teach us. • The difference between opponents and enemies, and the 80/10/10 rule every activist needs to know. • Why National Reciprocity and Stand Your Ground protections are essential for real freedom.

Chinese cyberattackers may have stolen data from almost every American in a years-long attack, according to multiple sources. How much of our personal data has been stolen? Filling in for Glenn, Pat and Jeffy discuss the ongoing threat China poses to America, especially with the Trump administration potentially allowing 600,000 Chinese students into the country. HHS Secretary RFK Jr. called out Democrats for their Big Pharma hypocrisy. The guys discuss Trump's Operation Warp Speed and the information that has come out since then. The Trump administration is toying with the idea of transgender individuals being forbidden to own firearms. Jeffy reads through his Fat Five news headlines, including a salmonella outbreak, a recall on a brand of power washers, and shocking number of Americans complaining they have to work too much. Pat and Jeffy react to a group of lower-court judges, mostly anonymous, throwing a fit in an interview with NBC News regarding the Supreme Court's recent rulings.
