This is the last game before the rapid-fire Leagues Cup takes place, and one of the better chances the Galaxy have at getting their first win on the road. Hosts Josh Guesman and Sophie Nicolaou will discuss why the Galaxy need to have a sense of pride, and also why Leonel Messi may not be the best ambassador for Major League Soccer. Does the All-Star game mean anything? And will the League stop getting in its own way? Josh and Sophie get you ready for the Houston Dynamo on Friday night, but it's probably not somewhere you should expect to earn points. However, what transpired in the latter part of the second half might have Galaxy fans wondering why they haven't seen that version of the club. On today's show, hosts Josh Guesman and Kevin Baxter discuss the 3-3 draw, the atmosphere in the stadium, and why the Galaxy should be a better team this season. Did the Galaxy earn the point, or did LAFC choke when they had opportunities to keep the Galaxy at bay? Was the red card earned? Was stoppage time too long? And what about the cups being thrown at Referees on the way out? Plus, examining the continued intrusion of ICE into Southern California and what that means for a Galaxy team grappling to make amends with their supporter groups. Should MLS be leading? Part 1 of the Hangin' at the Hangar Bar Star Wars SeriesIn this first installment of our Star Wars mini-series, Scott and Candice are joined by their longtime friends Andy and Jackson for a spirited, laugh-filled roundtable on how Star Wars first found them—and why it still holds a permanent place in their lives (even when it drives them nuts). This episode is packed with personal stories, bold opinions, and friendly disagreements as we unpack what the galaxy far, far away gets right… and where it's gone totally off the rails. From childhood VHS marathons to sequel-era chaos, we explore what makes Star Wars stick, despite its flaws.
Send us a textLAFC and Carson played for the 26th time on Saturday, and this one, for Black and Gold Faithful, may have been the most frustrating yet. Despite twice holding a 2-goal lead, LAFC had to settle for a point in a 3-3 draw as Galaxy scored at the death.Denis Bouanga did all he could while he was on the pitch, scoring twice to move within 6 of Carlos Vela all-time. Gabriel Pec added a brace of his own, and a last-second header by Maya Yoshida forced both sides home with a point. A red card for Eddie Segura in stoppage certainly complicates matters for the home side in their next match against Portland. Also on this episode, Bone Thugs and Harmony make an appearance at BMO! Enjoy Episode 372.

Ray Latif spoke with Chris Swersey of Hop Products Australia (HPA) and Mitch Steele of New Realm Brewing about the 2025 Australian hop crop. Swersey reported a bountiful harvest for HPA, with total production up 10% and yields increasing by 30% despite reduced acreage. This success stems from favorable weather and significant investments in productivity and technology. Their new HPA HOP Central pellet plant, which processed popular varieties like Galaxy, Ella, and Eclipse, recently achieved FSSC food safety certification. Mitch Steele praised HPA's Galaxy hops, highlighting its consistent tropical fruit intensity. After extensive evaluation, Steele found the 2025 Galaxy crop to have a complex aroma and taste, featuring classic passion fruit, lime, and a developing peach mango character. New Realm Brewing is showcasing this hop in a "less-coast pilsner," a crisp, light beer with an intense hop aromatic profile.

836 · Inside Imagineering: Zsolt Hormay on Sculpting Stories in Disney ParksDo you ever walk through the Disney Parks and say, "How did they do that?" or better yet, "WHO helped bring these incredible places and spaces to life?"I was recently invited into the hallowed halls of Walt Disney Imagineering to discover the answers to those questions, and will have a full recap of what (and who) I saw, as well as just some of Imagineering's legacy, people, and projects as I was taken behind the scenes into where Disney magic is made. And while I was there, I has the privilege of sitting down with Zsolt Hormay, Creative Executive at Walt Disney Imagineering and the sculptor behind some of Disney's most breathtaking environments – from the Tree of Life to Cars Land to the floating mountains of Pandora and Galaxy's Edge. I have known of him and admired his work for decades, so this was not only a special moment for me personally, but we had a wonderful, one-on-one conversation not just about his journey from Hungary to becoming a leading figure in theme park design, but how rockwork becomes storytelling, and the emotional and cultural depth behind the places and spaces he and his team create. From the Tree of Life to Fantasy Springs in Tokyo DisneySea, his work is quite literally etched into the parks we love.I also posted the entire video version on the WDW Radio YouTube channel, and will share even more about what I saw, experienced, and learned during my unforgettable visit to Imagineering on an upcoming podcast episode, so stay tuned!

Part 1 Last Chance to See by Douglas Adams Summary"Last Chance to See" is a nonfiction book by Douglas Adams, co-authored with zoologist Mark Carwardine, published in 1990. The book chronicles their travels across the globe to visit endangered species and their habitats, highlighting the conservation crisis faced by many animals and the environments they inhabit. The narrative is infused with Adams's trademark humor and wit, as he shares the adventures and challenges of encountering species on the brink of extinction, such as the kakapo parrot in New Zealand, the California condor, and the rare Sumatran rhinoceros. The duo's trips take them to remote locations, presenting not only the unique wildlife but also the cultures and conservation efforts surrounding these species.Throughout the book, Adams reflects on the profound connection between humans and the natural world, urging readers to be more mindful of the impact of modern society on the environment. He emphasizes the importance of protecting these creatures not just for their sake, but for the health of the planet as a whole.
