Toye made the move into television directing after working for five years as a production assistant and a decade as an editor. This background in the editing room gave him a solid sense of how to tell a clear story, which helped considerably in his work on such complex series as Chuck (NBC 2007–12) and Fringe (Fox 2008–13). Los Angeles native Toye got his first screen credit working as a production assistant on Billy Crystal’s 1989 HBO special Midnight Train to Moscow, before moving into visual effects on films like The Addams Family (1991) and then working as an assistant editor on hit films such as Forrest Gump (1994) and Men in Black (1997). As a TV director, Toye cut his teeth on network TV action and sci-fi thrillers like Alias, Lost, and Fringe and has also worked on character-rich dramas such as The Good Wife. That experience running the gamut between drama genres served Toye well in recent years, directing episodes of genre series like Westworld, Snowpiercer, Watchmen and The Walking Dead. In 2024, his prolific output included The Boys and Fallout. The same year, Toye received acclaim for his work on Shōgun, helming four episodes of the Emmy-winning FX drama series, including season finale “A Dream of a Dream.” The season’s penultimate episode, “Crimson Sky,” earned Toye his first-ever Emmy for outstanding directing, which was also Toye’s first-ever career nomination in the category. Toye followed it up by directing the pilot episode of Prime Video's prequel series The Terminal List: Dark Wolf, starring Chris Pratt and Taylor Kitsch. He set to direct the opening episodes of the Prime Video series Bloodaxe and God of War. ### For over 35 years, Beth Kushnick has created character-driven settings for countless award-winning television series and feature films. What happens when old intelligence programs, artificial intelligence, psychological warfare, and elite control systems begin converging into one global reality? In this intense and controversial episode, Leo Zagami joins Michael Jaco for a deep discussion on MK Ultra declassification efforts, Jeffrey Epstein, transhumanism, AI influence, elite networks, and the growing concern that humanity may be entering a new era of psychological and technological control. The conversation begins with the renewed public attention surrounding declassified intelligence programs and investigations connected to MK Ultra-style operations and expands into a broader analysis of how psychological manipulation, media influence, blackmail systems, and artificial intelligence may all be interconnected. Leo discusses why many people are increasingly questioning whether technologies originally designed for experimentation, influence, and behavioral control are now evolving into much larger systems capable of shaping society itself. Topics discussed include: MK Ultra and psychological warfare programs Jeffrey Epstein and elite influence networks AI, transhumanism, and digital consciousness Sophia robots and the “Westworld” future scenario Technological manipulation and social engineering Intelligence agencies and behavioral conditioning The merging of technology and human identity Why many believe humanity is approaching a dangerous crossroads The episode also explores the growing fear that AI systems may eventually become tools not just for convenience, but for surveillance, emotional manipulation, predictive behavior tracking, and societal control. Leo connects current developments in artificial intelligence, robotics, and digital systems to larger occult, intelligence, and global power structures that he believes have been shaping events behind the scenes for decades. Throughout the discussion, the central question remains:

Geek Freaks is back with a packed episode covering the latest Lanterns trailer, the return of Westworld, new release dates for VisionQuest and Crystal Lake, and a full review of Punisher: One Last Kill. Frank and Squeaks break down what the new DC footage could mean for Hal Jordan, John Stewart, Guy Gardner, and the larger Green Lantern mythology. The episode also gets into what a new Westworld movie needs to do differently from the HBO series, how VisionQuest could bring Ultron and Wanda back into play, and whether a Deathstroke and Bane movie could actually work as a darker action comedy. The back half shifts into Punisher: One Last Kill, Dungeon Crawler Carl, network updates, and weekly recommendations. Timestamps and Topics 00:00 Back in the Studio!, CCS Recap, and Convention Stories 02:35 Question of the Week: Posters and Box Art That Started a Fandom 05:08 Lanterns Trailer Reaction and Green Lantern Theories 16:25 Westworld Movie Announcement and Franchise Potential 25:00 VisionQuest and Crystal Lake Release Date Discussion 31:42 Deathstroke and Bane Movie Talk 37:26 Punisher: One Last Kill Review 44:24 Dungeon Crawler Carl, Network Updates, and Weekly Recommendations Key Takeaways The new Lanterns trailer sparked a big discussion about whether the show can balance grounded detective drama with the cosmic scale fans expect from Green Lantern. Frank and Squeaks dig into Hal Jordan, John Stewart, Guy Gardner, and the possibility that the series could explore the morality and purpose of the Green Lantern Corps. The newly announced Westworld movie has Frank excited because the franchise can work as a smaller survival story set against a much bigger sci-fi collapse. VisionQuest and Crystal Lake landing back-to-back in October could make for a huge week of Marvel and horror viewing. The Deathstroke and Bane movie raises questions about tone, especially with Greg Mottola's comedy background, but the hosts see potential if it leans into a Suicide Squad style dynamic. Punisher: One Last Kill earns praise for its action, Jon Bernthal's performance, and emotional shift for Frank Castle, though Frank wanted more story before the ending. Quotes "Some of these games are just developed by one person, and what they do with that lack of help is phenomenal." "That's the Lanterns trailer they should have released first." "I think that's the button we're going to see: what is the morality of Green Lanterns?" "We got bad taste with how the HBO series ended, but I think we all fell in love with how it started." "The action was phenomenal. The killings were great. It got straight to the point."

Welcome to Multiverse News, your source for information about all your favorite fictional universes.During Disney's annual upfront presentation on Tuesday, Marvel Television revealed that the long awaited VisionQuest series will hit Disney Plus later this fall, with the debut streaming October 14. A trailer for the Paul Bettany led spinoff was also shown to media buyers and advertisers and reportedly featured a look at James Spader's return as Ultron. This exciting update comes on the heels of Daredevil: Born Again's Season 2 finale and the release of the Punisher special presentation; with all eyes on the upcoming Spider-Man: Brand New Day and, of course, Avengers: Doomsday,Disney's Tuesday presentation also shed some light on Lucasfilm's streaming future with Ahsoka Season 2 promised for an early 2027 release window on Disney Plus, more than 3 years after Season 1 streamed in 2023. Rosario Dawson took the stage where she teased, “This season, the battles are bigger and the stakes are higher.” Ahsoka creator and Lucasfilm co-head Dave Filoni backed Dawson's comments while featured in a sneak peek of the upcoming season. It's been a while since we discussed DC's Deathstroke & Bane team up feature with details remaining sparse since it was first announced in September; now Deadline is reporting that according to its sources not only is the film still in development, but multiple directors including Greg Mottola as a frontrunner are in talks to helm it. Mottola is no stranger to the DCU or James Gunn, having directed episodes of Peacemaker. While DC has yet to comment, Moon Knight writer Matthew Orton reportedly wrote the initial screenplay for the villain duo team-up and is set to do a rewrite if Mottola does end up being the choice. In other DCU news, Friday Night Lights actor Sinqua Walls has joined the cast of Man of Tomorrow in an undisclosed role. Deadpool and Wolverine director Shawn Levy is now attached to direct an original sci fi film written by Max Taxe titled Somewhere Out There for Netflix. New release Mortal Kombat 2 came in third place at the box office this weekend, behind The Devil Wears Prada 2 and Michael. Globally, The Devil Wears Prada 2 has crossed $400 million dollars and Michael has crossed $500 million dollars. Mortal Kombat 2 earned a worldwide box office total of $63 million dollars with only $23 million of that total made overseas. NBCUniversal has confirmed that a live-action Fast and the Furious series is in development. Vin Diesel, who will serve as a producer, announced the project, which is set up at Peacock, on stage at the NBCUniversal upfront presentation Monday morning. Florence Pugh is set to star in and produce fantasy drama The Midnight Library, which will be directed by Garth Davis. The Midnight Library is based on a novel of the same name by Matt Haig.Conan O'Brien will return to host the Oscars in 2027 which will make his third consecutive year as the host of the ceremony.Breaking Bad star Aaron Paul has joined the cast of season 3 of Prime Video's Fallout. After bringing Michael Crichton‘s theme park vision to the screen scripting 1993's Jurassic Park and two sequels, screenwriter David Koepp is looking to tackle another one. Deadline hears Koepp will revisit Westworld, the 1973 film written and directed by Crichton. A major unnamed director is also circling the project for Warner Brothers.

The provided source is a transcript of a live stream titled "Infinite Plane, Saturn Day," hosted by a speaker who deconstructs contemporary events through the lens of media fakery, psychological operations (psyops), and "concurrent programming."The following key themes summarize the discussion:The speaker highlights what they call "concurrent programming," where fictional media reflects real-world events simultaneously to create an echo chamber. A primary example is the unveiling of a golden Trump statue, which coincided with an episode of the show The Boys featuring a golden statue of the Trump-esque character, Homelander. The speaker argues these are not coincidences but evidence of a pre-planned script where reality is augmented with fiction. The transcript explores the idea that world leaders are composite characters or archetypes rather than independent individuals. Trump is analyzed as a "reincarnation of Apollo," wearing the "god form" of a sun deity with his golden hair and towers. Similarly, Elon Musk is described as an amalgamation of figures like Wernher von Braun, Tony Stark, and Henry Ford, serving as an active participant in the "theater of Cywar."A central premise is that society is living through a "meta script" written years ago. The speaker claims that national news cycles and "fake events" are coordinated focal points designed to distract and entrain the public. This system relies on systemic gaslighting, where people are conditioned to ignore patterns or dismiss them as mere "coincidences." The speaker compares this to the "synths" in Westworld whose programming prevents them from seeing contradictions in their reality. The speaker critiques both mainstream news consumers ("normies") and the "truther" community. They suggest that many truthers have merely traded one form of mind control for another, becoming "alt NPCs" who follow pre-planted subplots known as "conspiracy theories." The goal of the "Infinite Plane Society" (IPS) is to move to an "off-world stage" perspective that is entirely independent of these mainstream and alternative narratives. The discussion touches on esoteric concepts such as the "Demon Star" (Algol) and its supposed connection to the Trump head wound event. The speaker also references the work of Robert Anton Wilson, specifically the "number 23" and the "Dog Star" (Sirius) as triggers for consciousness evolution. Finally, the speaker recounts their personal history joining the Freemasons and the Scottish Rite, describing the rituals as a form of "stagecraft" or "the craft" rooted in theater.Concurrent Programming and Media SymbolsDeconstruction of Public FiguresThe Architecture of the Meta ScriptThe "Alt Cult" and Off-World StageEsotericism and Personal History

Westworld is heading back to the big screen, and this episode breaks down why that could be the best possible future for the franchise. Frank reacts to Warner Bros. developing a new Westworld movie, David Koepp writing the script, and why the original 1970s film still holds up as one of the strongest versions of the idea. The conversation also looks at what made the HBO series work early on, where it became too stretched out, and why Westworld may be better suited for focused one-off movies instead of another long-running series. In FOLLOW UP, the guys marvel at the completely normal state of America as Amnesty International issues a travel advisory for the 2026 World Cup because apparently “visiting the United States” now comes with the same vibe as backpacking through a failed cyberpunk state. Then it's onto Dead Podcast Theory, where more than a third of all new podcasts are AI-generated “podslop,” proving Silicon Valley heard “everyone has a podcast” and responded with “what if nobody did?” Meanwhile, Ticketmaster reminds everyone that if you've purchased a concert ticket since 2010, there's probably a class action settlement with your name on it and enough compensation for half a convenience fee.IN THE NEWS is basically one long panic attack sponsored by AI. The White House is considering regulating AI models, Canada says OpenAI vacuumed up everyone's personal data like a drunk Roomba, Character.AI allegedly impersonated a licensed psychiatrist, and Mother Jones found ChatGPT still happily helping aspiring mass shooters workshop their plans. Snap's Perplexity deal died quietly in a ditch while Meta keeps assembling humanoid robots like it's building the world's most annoying version of Westworld. Then GameStop tries to buy eBay in the dumbest sentence ever typed, Ryan Cohen gets himself banned from eBay while trying to meme-finance the deal, Elon Musk settles with the SEC for pocket lint money, Coinbase fires people because “AI,” Toto accidentally becomes a semiconductor giant through toilet technology, and smart glasses officially evolve from creepy gadget to extortion accessory.MEDIA CANDY brings some relief with Daredevil: Born Again and Widow's Bay. The Academy finally decides AI-generated actors and scripts can't win Oscars, which feels like the bare minimum required to stop ChatGPT from getting Best Supporting Actor before Willem Dafoe. In APPS & DOODADS, Pornhub returns to the UK thanks to Apple's age verification system, Ask.com finally dies and takes Jeeves with it into the great dial-up tone in the sky, and Apple agrees to pay users because “Apple Intelligence” arrived somewhere between vaporware and wishful thinking. Finally, THE DARK SIDE WITH DAVE tackles the true meaning of “decimate,” AI-powered C-3PO heads, mechanical keyboards for grown men who refuse to use laptop keys, Maul: Shadow Lord, The Boys, and a reminder that Solo was a great movie, grocery store adventures, lost AirPods, and the eternal mystery of why middle-aged dudes become furries.
