Whether you work remote, in person, or partially remote, the new world of work contains multiple employee experiences. Today we are joined by Annie Lin, the VP of People at Lever, a company known for helping businesses grow their workforces and improve their Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. Annie joins us to discuss the new world of work and how to negotiate it from a talent perspective. While some people return to the workplace, others don't and because everyone's day-to-day experiences are different, creating an equitable environment for workers is a new challenge that we face. Annie explains how we can think about these new hybrid forms of work in a similar way to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. Tuning in you'll hear how Lever is aiming for equity in everyone's ability to have an equal impact, irrespective of their day-to-day work experience, and how the company is now less focused on effort and more focused on results. You'll also discover insight into developments in the job market and talent war, the importance of finding ways to attract diverse candidates, how Lever sets its goals for DEI, and why they break these down to the team level.   Key Points From This Episode: An introduction to Annie Lin, her role at Lever, and her background. The realization Annie had that drew her out of business management and into people ops. How she pushes her team to think about their roles from the mindset of being partners to the rest of the business. The realities of Annie's role right now in the context of the new world of work. How she level sets for all of these different experiences to create an equitable environment for the individuals in them. Lever's goal for equity in everyone's ability to have an equal impact. How Lever is less focused on effort and more focused on results. How Annie thinks about this in a similar way to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.  Annie's contact with the customer base and the product team.  Insight into developments in the job market and how to stand out in the talent war.  The importance of finding ways to attract and bring in diverse candidates. Insight into Lever's OKRs with regards to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion and how they set these goals.  What success looks like in terms of DEI for Lever.  Why they break down DEI to a team level. Annie's analogy for looking at the positives of hybrid work and its challenges.   Tweetables: “There's a lot that makes a business work or not work and I truly believe that almost everything boils down to people; who you have, who you don't have, how those people work together, how they don't work together, how they evolve and grow as the organization evolves and grows.” — Annie Lin [0:03:52]   “I really push my team to think about their roles from the mindset of a partner to the business.” — Annie Lin [0:05:00]   “We're actually not aiming for complete egalitarianism in terms of everyone's day-to-day experiences, but rather what we are optimizing for and aiming for is equity in everyone's ability to have an equal impact.” — Annie Lin [0:11:51]   “We have people who quite frankly are just effective in different types of environments and we want to be inclusive of all of that. We want all of those different types of people to still be able to be successful.” — Annie Lin [0:14:41]   "I would encourage other people leaders to think about as well, is not just think about the world of hybrid work as a problem that has to be dealt with, — but also as this incredible opportunity to really tap into the strengths and the upsides that come with it as well.” — Annie Lin [0:27:38]   Links Mentioned in Today's Episode:   Annie Lin  Lever Hired Talk Talent to Me

Earlier this summer, I had the joy and privilege of interviewing Annie Schuessler, a fellow therapist, Art of Money alum, and host of the phenomenal podcast, “Rebel Therapist.” When Annie first started her private therapy practice, she struggled with her mindset around money, with not knowing how to build her business, and how to balance her desire to help folks heal while also supporting her family. Twenty years later, Annie has found her spark, mentoring therapists to build ethical, sustainable businesses that honor their passions, the way they want to show up, and the work they want to do in the world. Listen in as we challenge the status quo and explore: - How Annie confronted scarcity and the limiting beliefs around money that were undermining her professional and financial success - How “rocking the boat” and talking honestly about her struggles and experiences led Annie to create a business that is both fulfilling - AND capable of supporting her family - Honoring queer, feminist values in a capitalist society - How Annie helps therapists who feel stuck in their practice cultivate new outlets of inspiration and create new opportunities for success - What it means to be a “rebel therapist”

“It’s so ironic that we don’t want to ‘hurt people’ and therefore we don’t sell to them, but what happens is we overdeliver for them and then ask what they’ve ever done for us.” - Annie P. RugglesMany entrepreneurs avoid selling, and for some the act of selling can be downright scary. If you’re in business, selling is necessary and today’s Brave By Design guest reveals how you can overcome any struggles you may have with sales by implementing the right mindset shifts. For almost a decade, Annie P. Ruggles has harnessed her Hulk-like disdain for hard-sales, tacky self-promotion, and overly competitive sleazeballs as inspiration to help people find better ways to grow their small bizzes. She's guided hundreds of people toward making deeper connections, lasting impressions, and friendlier, more lucrative transactions and conversations.Annie is the daughter of an award-winning motivational speaker and an always-ahead-of-his-time business strategist, and the granddaughter of a legendary used-car salesman, a perspicacious wordsmith, a singing waiter, and a cafeteria caterer with a raving fan base. (So clearly, she was literally born for this.)She lives in Chicago with her hobbit husband (who is also in sales), her furkids, and her disdain for deep dish pizza. As Annie explains, to sell isn’t to be manipulative. [05:34] - How Annie & Oz met. [08:29] - What led Annie to become a sex worker. [09:45] - How Annie picked the name Hookers for Jesus for the organization. [41:23] - What Christians misunderstand about sex workers. [44:54] - Porn addiction generally precedes going to strip clubs and hiring prostitutes. QUOTES: “It's called complex trauma and that's where the person has been victimized over and over and over from childhood or from teenage years or when they first started getting trafficked and they never could escape the victimization.” “Your brain has something called the amygdala. It's like the heart of your brain. It's the shape of an almond. And it's, it's probably the size, maybe of an egg, maybe a little smaller, but when you have a lot of trauma, it gets enlarged and it pushes out cortisol.” “I believe that God has designed in our DNA to have a father, to have a mother. And if that's imbalanced in any shape or form, we don't. We don't actually have our emotions balanced because our households are out of order, right. Households out of order. And so our brain can't form in a stable, structured manner..” “As I got older, I started acting out, like I became oversexualized and that's very common with any type of disciplinary type of upbringing and sexual abuse.” “We are helping rescue all these beautiful souls from the depths and the hooks and the abuses of the traffickers.” “We have trauma therapy, we have horse therapy. They learn how to cook, they have their own personal trainers, they have group therapy. The girls have a choice if they want to come to church or stay home and read a book or watch a movie - they can do that. But our whole program is holistic in healing.” “I just assist in whatever way I can. A lot of it, in the time I’ve been married to Annie, has been as being an example of a husband that loves his wife and would die for her.” USEFUL RESOURCES https://hookersforjesus.net  https://tinyurl.com/FallenBook  https://www.facebook.com/annielaurielobert  https://www.facebook.com/ozfox  https://www.facebook.com/hookersforjesus  https://www.instagram.com/annielobert/  https://www.instagram.com/sirozfox/  https://www.instagram.com/hookersforjesus/  https://twitter.com/annielobert  https://twitter.com/SirOzFox  https://twitter.com/hookersforjesus  CONNECT WITH JOHN Website - https://thejohnhulen.com  Instagram - https://www.instagram.com/johnhulen  Facebook - https://www.facebook.com/johnhulen  Twitter - https://www.twitter.com/johnhulen  LinkedIn - https://www.linkedin.com/in/johnhulen  EPISODE CREDITS Intro music provided by Jeff Scheetz - https://jeffscheetz.com/  Outro music provided by Tony Palacios - https://www.instagram.com/tonytonedog/

It's probabilistic." [15:09] "...And whichever one you choose is just a prediction of which one's more likely to produce a happier version of you in the future." [16:25] "We're living in a probabilistic world, meaning that there are very few decisions that you can make that are guaranteed to have one single outcome." [20:14] "But presidential campaigns actually happen over quite a long period of time...Can you think of anything? Where in real time, people are analyzing the decisions that are being made more than a national presidential election." [26:10] "Our brains really like to make a create a narrative that makes sense where one thing leads to another and kind of an orderly fashion. We really aren't comfortable with randomness." [28:19] "So luck is intervening between the decisions that you make, the option that you choose, and the particular outcome that you happen to observe." [32:43] "I also don't know a lot of stuff. The way to solve for that is to go explore the universe of stuff that I don't know, and to explore that in a really objective way. Where I'm kind of like maximizing my ability to run into information that is different than the things that I believe to be true,." [39:40] "Well, smart people are just better at spinning narratives. They're better at looking at a set of data and interpreting that data to fit the model that they already have. That's just why it's just like this kind of narrative spinning that's kind of going on in our heads." [01:01:58] "It's not that imagining failure causes failure. It's that imagining failure causes success, because if you imagine failure, you can see all the obstacles that might be lying in your path and then you can actually do something about them before you run into the obstacle" SHOW NOTES [00:01:32] Guest introduction [00:03:00] How Annie became the “Duchess of Poker” [00:04:09] What Annie's hometown was like [00:07:44] What high school was like for Annie [00:09:59] How Annie's experiences led to writing her books [00:12:07] What are bets, what are decisions and what's the relationship between them? Hello and welcome to today’s episode with the delightful Annie Love.I hope this finds you all well and managing the juggle. We are now a few weeks into home schooling here in Vic which has been quite the roller coaster ride. Some days are good and some are bad. In some ways I think us business owners have been training for this a long time, let’s face it, we are used to the juggle, working in the spare pockets of time that we have and having to pivot and be agile when things don’t’ go to plan. That is not to say things are easy but it’s something I’ve been reflecting on when I look around at my business owner friends who I’m so proud of at the moment. As business owners we don’t have the luxury of tucking into any carers or annual leave, many of us don’t have colleagues who can support us on tough days and the future of our business rests on our shoulders yet the courage we showed when we started our businesses is shining through now and I just want to let you all know that it may not feel like it but you are doing an amazing job.I have to warn you that you will need to listen to today’s episode with tissues handy, however you will also leave the episode with a smile on your face looking at your life with a new perspective which couldn’t be more timely. I also wanted to thank Annie for sharing her story, as you will hear it is not an easy story to tell but Annie is determined to share so she can help others find the light during difficult times.I first came across Annie Love’s story a year ago and it is safe to say it stopped me in my tracks. How Annie and her family had experienced everything they had in a few short years felt unjust and unfair but there was something about Annie, that this remarkable women could not only still find the positives in life but radiate love and light the way that she does was incredible to me. I feel incredibly honoured that Annie came into my life a few months ago. I have been coaching Annie but I have to say in the short time we’ve worked together the roles have been reversed and she has changed the way I look at my life.Based in Brisbane, Annie wears many hats – wife, mother to three beautiful boys, co-owner of Grassroots IT with husband Ben, writer on the Mummalove blog, life coach and I’m thrilled to say new podcaster. After a rollercoaster of a parenting journey, she is well placed to help women find joy and create their best life even through difficult circumstances. In the episode Annie discusses:- How Annie and Ben created a business that was flexible around family- How Annie has navigated indescribable grief through her life- Down syndrome awareness – how Annie and her husband worked through the diagnosis of down syndrome of their youngest son Nicholas- How Annie and Ben dealt with the diagnosis of leukaemia and the chemo treatment of their eldest son Sam- How Annie is helping other mothers through life coachingI’m so proud of Annie who has just launched a new podcast called ‘The Mummalove Podcast’. The podcast is about finding light even in the midst of darkness. I’ve been lucky enough to get a sneak peek at some of the episodes and they are amazing. I would be so happy if you could jump on over to the podcast and give it a listen and share with any friends who you think it may help. No matter how well trained and educated you are, it’s important to remember that who you are as a person can sometimes bring as much value to your team as your qualifications. This rings true for our guest on the show today, Annie Yoder, who is Director of Development at Rea & Associates, a 300+ employee accounting firm with a national footprint. Annie is a trained CPA, CFF, and CPE but significantly she does no accounting work at her firm, having rather moved into a position that is strictly concerned with the interpersonal. In today’s episode, Annie shares the story behind how this happened and gives listeners a few golden nugget tips on the subject of good leadership, trust, and self-reflexivity. She talks about the lessons learned from her mother and her Amish upbringing, the idea that everybody has value and that people who hurt others themselves are hurt. Our conversation moves to the role she plays at Rea & Associates, and she shares some of the ways she leads employees to their growth, and the exercises she takes coworkers through to help them build trust in each other. We also hear from Annie about her growth process, the things that made her take a look in the mirror, and the idea that a person takes themselves everywhere they go. Ultimately, our interactions cause ripple effects in each other which have huge potential to help us be more compassionate humans or trustworthy leaders, so tune in to hear how these have taken effect in and through Annie today. Key Points From This Episode: What led Annie into accounting: her need for financial stability. How Annie has transitioned from being a CPA to Director of Development in her firm.A skillset of connecting dots, or leading people to answers they seek that Annie has.Coaching, conflict resolution, and ‘home-finding’ duties Annie does during her day job.Whether it is usual for qualified accountants to move into People Development.Four pillars that Rea & Associates prioritizes: people, clients, growth, and firm. The cornerstone at Rea & Associates which is investing in their employees. How investing in people leads to a feedback loop benefiting everybody.Ways that Annie’s Amish background and mother’s prioritization of education has shaped her.Annie’s career path from her MBA to litigation support as a CFE leading to the present. How her auditing and litigation support ‘dot-connecting’ background helps Annie today.Transactional vs relational interactions and Annie’s mom’s lesson that all people are valuable.Dealing with hurt people who hurt you, and whether both parties can grow. How people can help each other find a sliver in themselves to see the good in everybody.Ripple effects caused by interactions that lead people toward positive growth. How conflicts with coworkers, reading, podcasts, and Annie’s husband help her self-reflect.What Annie’s boss taught her about advocacy and trust by making her feel safe.Building trust between coworkers Annie uses: encouraging consistent behavior. The two branches of the trust tree: competency and character, and their offshoots.Future-focused thinking and other ripple effects of Richard Rea’s legacy in the firm today.Advice Annie would give to her younger self: stop worrying so much. Links Mentioned in Today’s Episode:Annie YoderAnnie Yoder on LinkedInRea & AssociatesTrust ChartThe Speed of TrustRichard ReaSheer ClarityJ. As a young teenager, looking for a bigger and better life, Annie Lobert never planned to be a living statistic in the dark world of sex trafficking when she left home. For years, she lived under control of a man, whose sole purpose was to "break" her and make money off of her. One day she escaped his grasp and fell into the arms of Jesus. Annie's provocative story is a story of redemption and grit and she reciprocates that grace given to her through her ministry Hooker's For Jesus and Destiny House in Las Vegas, Nevada. A ministry that "hooks" women imprisoned by the sex trafficking industry and gives them a home, helps them find legitimate work, and covers them with the gospel. Annie tells the story in her book, Fallen and she shares her life's story with us on the show. Annie's journey to the Savior was a long dark road. This show is not intended for young ears. Annie’s Story – Compassion in Action with Charm City CompanionsHappy New Year! Happy New Decade! Today I share a brief reflection on how my volunteer work in the community with B-More Dog has helped me become a happier person than I was 10 years ago by releasing judgment and having compassion for others. I also explain some of the Baltimore-specific references that Annie & I discuss. At the start of Episode 3 with Michelle Serocki, I gave a little bit of background on some of Humane Society of the U.S. programs to help dog owners in underserved communities. HSUS’s former End Dogfighting program morphed into what is now known as Pets For Life. The Pets For Life program helps to address the lack of resources pet owners experience in underserved communities by providing free veterinary care, supplies, services and information. Our guest today, Annie Pruitt of Charm City Companions (“CCC”), literally wrote the book on the Pets For Life program. Annie worked for more than 20 years in the field of communications and market research. When her company was hired by the Humane Society of the U.S. to help create the Pets For Life campaign, Annie’s life changed forever.Through her own experiences, it became so clear to Annie that the benefits of the human-animal bond reach beyond someone’s socio-economic status. Annie now runs Charm City Companions full-time. Her days are spent doing door-to-door community outreach in East Baltimore neighborhoods that are also known for high rates of gun violence.Annie and I discuss:How supporting pets is also creating healthier communities;Annie’s unconventional childhood; How her professional marketing career led to the creation of Charm City Companions; How Annie decided to concentrate CCC’s efforts in the East Baltimore communities of McElderry Park and Ellwood Park; How Annie’s own pets supported her during a life-altering break-up which affected her both personally and professionally and made her realize the strength and importance of the human-animal bond to pet owners of all socio-economic backgrounds; How the work Annie & I have done in underserved communities has changed our perceptions and understandings and how we hope the animal welfare community will continue to evolve in presenting stories in a manner that’s compassionate and respectful to all parties; andStories about some of the people Annie has met in the community through CCC.To end, I “geek out” about a book I read that affected how I think about poverty, “Scarcity, the New Science of Having Less and How it Defines Our Lives.” This “Malcolm Gladwell-style” read helps us correlate how a busy person’s lack of time, or dieter’s lack of will power, can affect decision-making, similar to a poverty mindset.Find Charm City Companions online:Website: http://www.charmcitycompanions.org/Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/charmcitycompanionsLinks talked about:HSUS Pets For LifeBaltimore "butterfly map" and also hereSafe Streets - East Baltimore Let’s connect. Sarah Argenal is on a mission to eradicate the burnout epidemic that is crushing working parents. She offers programs to individuals and organizations to integrate mental and emotional support for parents in the workplace. She walks parents through a 4 step framework to craft a life. I see a theme here that I want you to pay close attention to. Sarah's 4 part framework is something that she has created and nurtured, and it's something she is becoming known for. Having a framework you can use to help you describe your work AND help people is a huge asset. It's your message AND it's your way of serving. Sarah didn't just stumble on this 4 part framework. She discovered and created it through observing herself and the thousands of parents she talked to. Now she's able to use that framework everywhere. She talks about it in podcast episodes. She talks about it in public speaking. She teaches it in workshops. She uses it in all of her content. She goes deep into one of the steps at times, and she sometimes gives an overview of all 4. This is an asset that she can build her business around. Listen to how Sarah is leveraging this asset. An asset like this can't be rushed. But time and energy you put into creating it is well invested. My business has doubled since I discovered and began to nurture my Rebel Therapist™ brand. It's what I'm becoming known for. When I think about the individual rebels I work with, I see that they hit that hockey stick on the growth chart when they get clear on their message and what they want to be known for. Sarah shares a lot of gems in this interview, but if you remember ONE thing, remember what she has to say about finding the work and message she wants to be known for.   Topics Discussed In This Episode: Why she focuses on helping working parents recover from burnout Having 2 tracks to her business: private work with parents and work with organizations How she customizes her 4-step framework for many different contexts Deciding to be known for one thing How she structures her online coaching program Creating workbooks to use within her program Using voxer as an extra support in her coaching How Annie and Sarah both manage time around between session support How she brings in private clients and how she brings in organizational clients Creating several different free offers and a marketing ecosystem Her advice for her former self Just in time learning rather than just in case learning Show notes at http://rebeltherapist.me/podcast/107

Annie went to India initially to work on a healthcare program that she developed with her brother for mothers and children. When Annie first tried jackfruit, she didn’t intend to start a company around the delicious fruit. But over time, she believed jackfruit could be a solution to the prevailing poverty that led to the health concerns she was trying to address. Back then, there weren’t any commercial supply chains for it, and no commercial products developed with it. As a result, a lot of it was going to waste. “This was an opportunity to take a truly amazing natural resource, a miracle crop, and instead of letting it go to waste, convert it into massive incremental income for farming families.” So how’d Annie build the supply chain for her company? It just took an enormous amount of trust, confidence, and persistence, all for an unwanted fruit. In this episode, Annie explains the things she does to ensure her career is future ready because nobody can predict what jobs will look like years from now. Do not specialize in a particular technology but specialize in a capability. The technologies that you are using today will not be the technologies they are using tomorrow. If you specialize in a particular technology set, and it is decreasing in popularity, you will end up with fewer opportunities in the market. His approach to this challenging subject area is refreshingly playful and light-hearted, but cuttingly effective and focussed… you’ll laugh lots and learn hard. Ian’s signature programme, the “Be Free Weight Loss” method is designed to uncover hidden habits that many people are entirely unaware of and leave no stone unturned in removing the emotional obstacles and trip hazards that all too often derail the weight loss journey. Having tried (and failed) at almost every commercial diet over many years, he finally ‘got it’, shifted 100lbs of weight and kept it off. Ian isn’t just a theorist, he delivers from hardcore experience, walks his talk and lives his principles every day.   AND   Dr Annie Wright DC trained as a Chiropractor in 2001 after a first career as an officer in the Intelligence Corps, British Army.  She sustained a knee injury whilst serving; although this did not result in a medical discharge Annie was no longer able to do many of the physical activities any “normal” young adult would expect to do.    This was followed by a “brown-out” in 2006 when Annie had pleurisy and pneumonia three times in six months.   Through the diverse areas of her Chiropractic medical knowledge and a personal interest in the mechanisms of both physical and mental injury; Annie set about rehabilitating her knee and regaining health.  She then brought together these varied skills to help her clients overcome their injuries.   Such was the effect of this holistic approach of lifestyle, stress management, nutrition, plus varied application of her bio-mechanical knowledge to help her clients overcome their injuries that an improvement in their physical and mental health resulted and, thus as one client said: “I gave people back their lives”.   Through helping people and herself, Annie realised that it is not only the mechanics of getting better that was important but equally or more importantly overcoming our limiting beliefs, or perceptions which may otherwise stop us.   As a result, Annie now offers a coaching service that helps people with a wide range of health related issues including fatigue, burn out, diabetes, high blood pressure,  autoimmune disease and other non-communicable diseases.  It is delivered from the perspective of someone who has herself made that journey.     In this episode, we talk about How Annie got her life and health back How Ian lost A LOT of weight without dieting How to make sustainab --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/explode/message

When a parent leaves an inheritance as a legacy for their children, the intent is always to secure their future. Statistics tell us that 1-in-3 heirs end up blowing all the money, rather than stewarding it well. Earning and keeping are two drastically different skillsets, and having advice and counsel is essential to manage wealth well. But what would happen if all the advice in the world was basically useless? What would happen if you knew you were going to inherit but had your hands tied?    Today, I have an interesting story about what happens when an inheritance rattles the future, rather than securing it. It is truly a tale of good intentions gone awry. In this interview, my client, who will be known only as “Annie”, tells the story of inheriting $4M from her parents. Annie shares everything she has had to go through just to get her hands on the money that was rightfully hers. Even though her parents took the time to have a trust drafted, she never found the actual trust documents and had to go through the probate courts to have assets transferred to her name.    This is a cautionary tale to people everywhere of the high costs on the people you love if your estate plan is incomplete! Also, Annie had strong emotions about the money to overcome—before she inherited money she lived paycheck to paycheck, and even marched on Occupy Wall Street. Listen to find out if her perspective on wealth has evolved as she inherited.    This is a very moving and vulnerable story. It reminds me that a legacy is an incredible gift, but it is also a heavy weight to bear. I know you will come away from Annie’s story with a lot to think about, (and hopefully, let someone know the location of your Will when you’re through!)     What You Will Learn In This Episode:  •    We start from the beginning: Annie always knew she would inherit money.  •    Money and inheritance were abstract.  •    Annie feels like she almost exchanged her parents for the money.  •    How the whole trouble with the trust started.  •    Lawyers don’t always have a copy of the trust.  •    The time it takes and the uncertainty that follows a missing trust.  •    How Annie has managed the pain and fear over the inheritance.  •    Annie’s early days living paycheck to paycheck taught her about what it means to be “enough.”  •    All about some of the technical aspects of inheritance.  •    Annie’s vision for her life with this inheritance.  •    Money has an effect on people. Learn how Annie’s social life has shifted.  •    How to ensure people in your life has copies of your will.  •    What Annie is planning to do with her story.    Featured on the show https://www.profitbosslive.com/ https://www.50kwealthmultiplier.com/

Annie Peyton (@amp915) discusses her bike trip across the US, explains how she lands big opportunities, and shares stories from her year in Bangkok.Annie Peyton is an architect, designer, world-traveler, and adventurist. She received her Bachelors and Masters in Architecture from Tulane University. During her time in school, she spent a year studying in Copenhagen, Denmark. After school, she became the recipient of two national fellowships. As a Global Health Corps fellow, she worked in design for a year in Rwanda. As a Luce Scholar, she worked for for an architecture firm for a year in Thailand. Annie’s outlook on life is perhaps even more impressive than her resume. There are so many qualities that I admire about Annie. The first is her unshakable resiliency. Whether she’s on a bike in middle of wind storm, or at a lunch table when everyone around her is speaking a foreign language, or meeting with a random group of artists in the middle of Bangkok -- Annie is capable of adapting to any situation. Perhaps this is due to her incredibly high emotional intelligence.Throughout our conversation, you’ll hear how Annie is able to recognize her emotions, take ownership of them, and then use them to her benefit. Finally, I admire Annie’s holistic approach to life. She refuses to follow convention or stay in her comfort zone. Instead, she searches for alternative ways to challenge herself. And although she’s had such a diverse background, she’s still able to synthesize all her experiences into a cohesive narrative. Throughout our conversation, Annie explains her proven strategy for landing big opportunities and shares stories from her year in Thailand. She also explains her most memorable day and a story about the kindest thing that anyone’s ever done for her.
