The tales that Dan weaves this week are top notch. During story number one, we explore the idea of a haunted car ride. What would you do if there was another passenger in a car but you were the only person who could see the passenger? And what if you were in a cab? Or an Uber? What would you do? In story number two, we go to the famous haunting of The Whaley House. A long haunted and well known haunted home, a home that was once called The Most Haunted House in America. In the second half of the show, Lynze takes a literal deep dive into a potentially haunted underwater cave in Vortex Springs. Was something trying to connect with a diver? Was there a warning of danger coming from the other side? In her second story, Lynze shares a fan story about a haunted doll. If you could not prove that a doll was haunted, would you get rid of it? Would you keep looking for more signs? Find out what this fan does when she suspects her new porcelain is the source of unexplained activity.   Thank you for continuing to send in your stories, Creeps and Peepers! Please keep doing so. Vineyard Church of New Orleans Podcast (Messages)

Sacred Space at Home Week 20 (November 25th) Welcome: Welcome to Sacred Space at Home, a resource from Vineyard Church of New Orleans! We’re so glad you have decided to join us in this time of worship and reflection. Today we will meditate on Acts Chapter 28. Wherever you may find yourself in this moment, try and make space to listen and experience the presence of God as we pray, hear the words of scripture, and sing together. As we begin, we open our minds and hearts and say, “Come, Holy Spirit.” Song of Surrender I Surrender All by Judson Wheeler Van DeVenter | Winfield Scott Weeden All to Jesus I surrender All to Him I freely give I will ever love and trust Him In His presence daily live I surrender all I surrender all All to Thee my blessed Savior I surrender all All to Jesus I surrender Make me Savior wholly Thine Let me feel the Holy Spirit Truly know that Thou art mine All to Jesus I surrender Lord I give myself to Thee Fill me with Thy love and power Let Thy blessing fall on me Scripture Reading (Acts 28:14b-16; 30-31) NRSV) “A reading from the Book of Acts…” “And so we came to Rome… The believers from there, when they heard of us, came as far as the Forum of Appius and Three Taverns to meet us. On seeing them, Paul thanked God and took courage. When we came into Rome, Paul was allowed to live by himself, with the soldier who was guarding him. He lived there for two whole years at his own expense and welcomed all who came to him, proclaiming the kingdom of God and teaching about the Lord Jesus Christ with all boldness and without hindrance.” This is the word of the Lord. Thanks be to God! Reflection We’ve finally reached the end of the book of Acts. A book that’s had a little of everything. From the ascension of Jesus to the arrival of the Holy Spirit, great preaching, martyrdom, miracles, visions, and barriers of race and gender knocked down. We’ve seen great friendships develop as well and conflict and relationships broken. We’ve had miraculous escapes from jails, beatings, whippings and stoning. We’ve seen audiences before kings and philosophers and theologians, as well as ordinary folks like you and me. And what seems like the climax of the story, to me anyway, we see Paul survive a hurricane and shipwreck and finally make his way, albeit as a prisoner, to Rome. At first the ending seems anticlimactic, with lots of unanswered questions. Did Paul ever speak to Caesar? Did he make his case or was he found guilty and executed? Why does Luke leave us hanging with the story unfinished? All he tells us in Acts 28:30-31 is that Paul lived in Rome for 2 years welcoming visitors and “proclaiming the kingdom of God and teaching about the Lord Jesus Christ with all boldness and without hindrance”. That’s how the story ends? It seems like it ends with kind of a whimper… But if you think about it though, maybe it’s Paul’s story that ends here at the conclusion of the book of Acts; no, we don’t really know what happened to him from Luke’s concluding words. But, while his part in this account may essentially be over, the story itself isn’t over. In fact, it’s really just beginning. Through the power of the Holy Spirit, the apostles and followers of Jesus kicked off this new thing called the Kingdom of God. Paul has done his part, and the succeeding generations have done their part. If we refer back to Acts 1:8 it says, “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem (check), in all of Judea and Samaria (check and check), and to the ends of the earth” (still working on it). And now is the time for us, the church of this generation, to fulfill our part! Now is the time for this generation to carry forth the message that Jesus is King! The Kingdom of God is here; maybe not completely yet, but the story of Jesus must still be told! And the Kingdom of God must still be seen! It’s our turn; it’s our time to write our chapter in the story. We, the kingdom people of this generation, this church, you and me. It’s up to us to share the Good News of the Kingdom of God! The story is not over… Questions 1. As you reflect on this passage, what comes to mind? Notice what thoughts or emotions may arise in you. 2. Paul appears to spend the remainder of his life in Rome, proclaiming the good news of Jesus and the kingdom of God with boldness. What might it look like for you to embody that same boldness in the world today? 3. Though the Book of Acts tells the story of the early Church and Paul’s missionary journeys, its conclusion is not the end of the story. Take a moment to consider the role you might play in God’s narrative of bringing the good news of Jesus to “the ends of the Earth.” 4. Take this time to ask God to give you courage to embody the Good News of Jesus everywhere you go. I Surrender All (Reprise) Benediction “As we conclude our time together, may you continue to be aware of the presence of God and seek to find sacred spaces throughout the day.” Let us pray. “Let the same mind be in you that was in Christ Jesus, Who, though he was in the form of God Did not regard equality with God As something to be exploited, But emptied himself, Taking the form of a slave, Being born in human likeness. And being found in human form, He humbled himself And became obedient to the point of death, Even death on a cross. Therefore, god also highly exalted him And gave him the name that is above every name, So that at the name of Jesus Every knee should bend, In heaven and on earth and under the earth, And every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord To the glory of God the Father”. Amen. Philippians 2:5-11

Why in the world would a man just up and leave him family to live, alone and secluded, on an island that he then COVERS in dolls? After years of living on the island, why does this man turn up dead? What have others discovered when visiting The Island of the Dolls? Are the dolls alive? Possessed? Is it all in their imaginations? From Mexico City, Dan takes us to Colorado. More specifically, we are going to Riverdale Road. This road is know by many to be extremely haunted. Listen to Dan share a tale of three credible witnesses who are lured in by the spirit of women with a decaying face, a woman who tries to burn them alive.  Lynze pulls us back to more traditional stories. She also starts in Mexico and shares a long standing family story from a fan. Carrying on the theme of family stories, Lynze shares a tale from Donna, Dan's little sister, and her creepy kids. 1 Thou therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. 2 And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also. 3 Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. 4 No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier. 5 And if a man also strive for masteries, yet is he not crowned, except he strive lawfully. 6 The husbandman that laboureth must be first partaker of the fruits. 7 Consider what I say; and the Lord give thee understanding in all things. 8 Remember that Jesus Christ of the seed of David was raised from the dead according to my gospel: 9 Wherein I suffer trouble, as an evil doer, even unto bonds; but the word of God is not bound. 10 Therefore I endure all things for the elect's sakes, that they may also obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory. 11 It is a faithful saying: For if we be dead with him, we shall also live with him: 12 If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us: 13 If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself. 14 Of these things put them in remembrance, charging them before the Lord that they strive not about words to no profit, but to the subverting of the hearers. 15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. 16 But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness. 17 And their word will eat as doth a canker: of whom is Hymenaeus and Philetus; 18 Who concerning the truth have erred, saying that the resurrection is past already; and overthrow the faith of some. 19 Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity. 20 But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour. 21 If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master's use, and prepared unto every good work. 22 Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart. 23 But foolish and unlearned questions avoid, knowing that they do gender strifes. 24 And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient, 25 In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth; 26 And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.

Have you ever cloned another investor? As the name implies, cloning refers to the strategy of following or copying the ideas of famous investors or fund managers. Most investors believe this is an ethical strategy, and Rule #1 investors actually take advantage of the fact that we can clone or follow expert investors.  This idea of cloning goes all the way back to when Warren Buffett first started watching Ben Graham’s investing strategies, and other investing gurus openly stating that they cloned other great investors that came before them. Mohnish Pabrai, for instance, is one of the more successful investors out there. He is a shameless cloner and follower of Warren Buffett and Charlie Munger. In fact, Pabrai once famously stated that “Thou shall be a shameless cloner.”  Although, the best investors in the world know that cloning is only an efficient strategy when you do your own research on top of that. But what tools will help you successfully clone experts? One of the most popular tools which I discuss today is Dataroma, to track stock picks and portfolios of legendary value investors such as Warren Buffett. The data is consolidated, categorized and presented in an easily accessible format. What you should look out for while analyzing investors in these tools is how many stocks they own. If an investor owns less than 20 companies, for example, they’re almost certainly a Rule #1-style investor. Only clone investors with this characteristic—investors who stick to a few stocks and are passionate about those companies. Because this means they’re putting in 5% of their portfolio on average into one business, which is a scary thought for the vast majority of people who manage money. They don’t want to get committed to anything because they don’t have that level of certainty, and they’re not doing that kind of research.  This week, I discuss these tools and the process of cloning in-depth, and discuss why this could be an effective strategy if done correctly.  Learn more about finding quality stocks to invest in with my Four Ms for Successful Investing Guide. Of all the Ten Commandments, there’s one that can be called the “Peace of Mind Commandment”, or if you prefer, the “Mental Health Commandment”. It is the Tenth Commandment, “Thou shall not covet thy neighbor's house. Thou shall not covet thy neighbor's wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor anything that is your neighbors” (Exodus 20:17). At the bottom of the scale, “We are not to covet our neighbor’s ass.” That says it all, doesn’t it? What is there to want or covet about a donkey? Would you covet the pretty ones? You know, if you see one jackass then you have seen them all. So why covet those things? You know covetousness, all by itself, would seem to be a harmless fault. It wouldn't seem like a very big deal, merely to sit and wish you had something that you don't have, it doesn’t seem to amount to much. But in another way, it’s a sickness, and perhaps from this sickness much of the violation of the other nine Commandments arises. To begin, there are a couple of really important concepts regarding covetousness that we can learn from from a aphorism of Solomon found in Proverbs 21:25.

Miguel was, from an early age, intensely spiritual and equally intense in his mischievousness, frequently exasperating his family with his humor and practical jokes. As a child he had a daring precociousness that sometimes went too far, tossing him into near death accidents and illnesses. Miguel was particularly close to his older sister, and after she entered a cloistered convent he began to discern his own vocation, leading him to enter the Jesuit novitiate in El Llano, Michoacanat the age of 20. He studied in Mexico until 1914 when a tidal wave of governmental anti-Catholicism crashed down upon Mexico, forcing the order to flee to Los Gates, California. He then taught in Nicaragua from 1919 until 1922.By the time Fr. Pro was ordained a priest in Enghien, Belgium in 1925, the political situation in Mexico had deteriorated: all Catholic churches were closed, bishops, priests, and religious were rounded up for deportation or imprisonment, and those caught trying to elude capture were shot. The celebration of the sacraments was punishable by imprisonment or death, and the Church was driven underground. Fr. Pro received permission from his superiors to return to Mexico incognito and to carry on his ministry undercover. Fr. Pro slipped into Mexico City and immediately began celebrating Mass and distributing the sacraments, often under imminent threat of discovery by a police force charged with the task of ferreting out hidden pockets of Catholicism. He became known throughout the city as the undercover priest who would show up in the middle of the night dressed as a beggar or a street sweeper to baptize infants, hear confessions, distribute Communion, or perform marriages. Several times, disguised as a policeman, he slipped unnoticed into the police headquarters itself to bring the sacraments to Catholic prisoners before their execution. Using clandestine meeting places, a wardrobe of disguises and coded messages to the underground Catholics, Fr. Pro carried on his priestly work for the Mexican faithful under his care.A failed attempt in November 1927 to assassinate the President of Mexico which only wounded him provided the state with a pretext for arresting Fr. Pro with his brothers Humberto and Roberto. They were put in jail and held without trial for ten days, accused of the attempted assassination. On July 17, 1928, President Calles ordered Fr. Pro to be executed, ostensibly for his role in the assassination plot, but in reality for his defiance of the laws banning Catholicism. As Fr. Pro walked from his cell to the prison courtyard, he blessed the firing squad and then knelt and prayed silently for a few moments. Refusing a blindfold, he stood, faced the firing squad, and with a crucifix in one hand and a rosary in the other, he held his arms outstretched in the form of a cross and in a loud, clear voice cried out, "May God have mercy on you! May God bless you! Lord, Thou knowest that I am innocent! With all my heart I forgive my enemies!" As the soldiers lifted their rifles, he exclaimed in a loud voice, "Viva Cristo Rey!" - "Long live Christ the King!" A volley rang out and Fr. Pro fell to the ground riddled with bullets. A solider stepped up and discharged his rifle at point blank range into the priests temple. 30,000 people attended his funeral procession. Fr. Miguel Pro was beatified on September 25, 1988 by Pope John Paul II.Fr. Pro used his natural gifts of intense determination and courage, seen throughout all parts of his life, to further the kingdom of God. Modern Catholics may follow Fr. Pro by taking courage and using their natural talents and gifts as God asks of them. Saint of the Day Copyright CNA, Catholic News Agency

1 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; 2 Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron; 3 Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth. 4 For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving: 5 For it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer. 6 If thou put the brethren in remembrance of these things, thou shalt be a good minister of Jesus Christ, nourished up in the words of faith and of good doctrine, whereunto thou hast attained. 7 But refuse profane and old wives' fables, and exercise thyself rather unto godliness. 8 For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come. 9 This is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptation. 10 For therefore we both labour and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the Saviour of all men, specially of those that believe. 11 These things command and teach. 12 Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity. 13 Till I come, give attendance to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine. 14 Neglect not the gift that is in thee, which was given thee by prophecy, with the laying on of the hands of the presbytery. 15 Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all. 16 Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee. 1 Rebuke not an elder, but intreat him as a father; and the younger men as brethren; 2 The elder women as mothers; the younger as sisters, with all purity. 3 Honour widows that are widows indeed. 4 But if any widow have children or nephews, let them learn first to shew piety at home, and to requite their parents: for that is good and acceptable before God. 5 Now she that is a widow indeed, and desolate, trusteth in God, and continueth in supplications and prayers night and day. 6 But she that liveth in pleasure is dead while she liveth. 7 And these things give in charge, that they may be blameless. 8 But if any provide not for his own, and specially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel. 9 Let not a widow be taken into the number under threescore years old, having been the wife of one man. 10 Well reported of for good works; if she have brought up children, if she have lodged strangers, if she have washed the saints' feet, if she have relieved the afflicted, if she have diligently followed every good work. 11 But the younger widows refuse: for when they have begun to wax wanton against Christ, they will marry; 12 Having damnation, because they have cast off their first faith. 13 And withal they learn to be idle, wandering about from house to house; and not only idle, but tattlers also and busybodies, speaking things which they ought not. 14 I will therefore that the younger women marry, bear children, guide the house, give none occasion to the adversary to speak reproachfully. 15 For some are already turned aside after Satan. 16 If any man or woman that believeth have widows, let them relieve them, and let not the church be charged; that it may relieve them that are widows indeed. 17 Let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of double honour, especially they who labour in the word and doctrine. 18 For the scripture saith, Thou shalt not muzzle the ox that treadeth out the corn. And, The labourer is worthy of his reward. 19 Against an elder receive not an accusation, but before two or three witnesses. 20 Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 21 I charge thee before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, and the elect angels, that thou observe these things without preferring one before another, doing nothing by partiality. 22 Lay hands suddenly on no man, neither be partaker of other men's sins: keep thyself pure. 23 Drink no longer water, but use a little wine for thy stomach's sake and thine often infirmities. 24 Some men's sins are open beforehand, going before to judgment; and some men they follow after. 25 Likewise also the good works of some are manifest beforehand; and they that are otherwise cannot be hid.

The Church which is His Body – Son of Man II “Matthew 16:13-18 When Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, Whom do men say that I the Son of man am? 14 And they said, Some say that thou art John the Baptist: some, Elias; and others, Jeremias, or one of the prophets. 15 He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am? 16 And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God. 17 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven. 18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.”  Jesus was a very particular Son of Man.  He was the Son of Man the scriptures declared.  “Behold a virgin shall conceive and bear a Son.”  Jesus is this specific Son of Man.  The Son of Man, declared by the Prophets, written of in the Scriptures, and revealed of the Spirit.  This Son of Man was born of woman, and birthed of God.  God was born into man.   His name is called Immanuel, God with us.  Jesus is God in Man, or the Son of God and Son of Man.  He was born into man to deal with the condition of man.  The only way God could save man is to take upon Himself man.  Through being birthed by Mary, God came into man.  As a man he came for the purpose of dying the death of the cross. As God, He could not die.  Therefore He fashioned Himself in a man, a perfect man to die the death of the cross.  Phillipians 2:6-11 “Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: 7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: 8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. 9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: 10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; 11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” He was the form of God and made himself in the likeness of man through the Word of God.  God spoke the Word and became what He spoke.  Now being found in fashion as a man he became obedient to the death of the cross.  This scripture says He took upon himself the form of servant.  Jesus is God’s servant as the prophets declared.  He came as the servant of God to open the blind eyes, to cause the lame to walk, and bring forth life in those who were dead in Adam.  He did this by being put to death in fashion as a man, and being raised by the Spirit of God.   Isaiah 42:1 “Behold, my servant, whom I uphold; my chosen, in whom my soul delighteth: I have put my Spirit upon him; he will bring forth justice to the Gentiles.” Now through Him we are put to death in the flesh.  We are brought into His death, that we may live through His life.  We have been freed through the offering of His Body to death.  In His Body of the flesh He put to death, death.  He put to death the man of sin.  We are free from all that is in the man, and we are brought to all that is in Christ.  He is our righteousness.  He is our comfort.  He is our peace.  We find all these things in Christ.  Glory to God!

It is a fearful privilege to be a bond-servant to the Holy God of the universe. Philippians 2:12-13 "So then, my beloved, just as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your salvation with fear and trembling; for it is God who is at work in you, both to will and to work for His good pleasure." The child of God cannot regard one another as more important than ourselves or not look out for your own personal interests, but also for the interests of others without submitting ourselves to God first, and then to others. As we pray Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven, Father, we pray in the knowledge that all the heavenly hosts, submit to Thee, to every single command Thou dost issue. Empower us, Holy Spirit, to submit to the decrees of the Father and submit to one another, as Christ offered Himslef to be our sacrifice. Amen. For more on the Darby Bible Translation see our podcast about it on episode 20. Romans 13: Let every soul be subject to the authorities that are above him . For there is no authority except from God; and those that exist are set up by God. So that he that sets himself in opposition to the authority resists the ordinance of God; and they who thus resist shall bring sentence of guilt on themselves. For rulers are not a terror to a good work, but to an evil one . Dost thou desire then not to be afraid of the authority? practise what is good, and thou shalt have praise from it; for it is God's minister to thee for good. But if thou practisest evil, fear; for it bears not the sword in vain; for it is God's minister, an avenger for wrath to him that does evil. Wherefore it is necessary to be subject, not only on account of wrath, but also on account of conscience. For on this account ye pay tribute also; for they are God's officers, attending continually on this very thing. Render to all their dues: to whom tribute is due , tribute; to whom custom, custom; to whom fear, fear; to whom honour, honour. Owe no one anything, unless to love one another: for he that loves another has fulfilled the law. For, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not lust; and if there be any other commandment, it is summed up in this word, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. Love works no ill to its neighbour; love therefore is the whole law. This also, knowing the time, that it is already time that *we* should be aroused out of sleep; for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed. The night is far spent, and the day is near; let us cast away therefore the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light. As in the day, let us walk becomingly; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and lasciviousness, not in strife and emulation. But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and do not take forethought for the flesh to fulfil its lusts.

And We revealed to Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, and the prophet-descendants (of Jacob), Jesus, Job, Jonah, Aaron, and Solomon, and We gave the book to David.” (The Holy Quran Surah 4) Prophet Muhammad SAW is not the father of any of your men, but (he is) the Messenger of Allah, and the Seal of the Prophets: and Allah has full knowledge of all things.(The Holy Quran Surah 33) And remember, Jesus, the son of Mary, said: "O Children of Israel! I am the messenger of Allah (sent) to you, confirming the Law (which came) before me, and giving Glad Tidings of a Messenger to come after me, whose name shall be Ahmad." But when he came to them with Clear Signs, they said, "this is evident sorcery! (The Holy Quran Surah 61) Muhammad is only a messenger: many Were the messenger that passed away before him. If he died or were slain, will ye then Turn back on your heels? If any did turn back on his heels, not the least harm will he do to Allah; but Allah (on the other hand) will swiftly reward those who (serve Him) with gratitude (The Holy Quran Surah 3) But those who believe and work deeds of righteousness, and believe in the (Revelation) sent down to Muhammad - for it is the Truth from their Lord,- He will remove from them their ills and improve their condition (The Holy Quran Surah 2) Muhammad is the messenger of Allah; and those who are with him are strong against Unbelievers, (but) compassionate amongst each other. Thou wilt see them bow and prostrate themselves (in prayer), seeking Grace from Allah and (His) Good Pleasure. On their faces are their marks, (being) the traces of their prostration. This is their similitude in the Taurat; and their similitude in the Gospel is: like a seed which sends forth its blade, then makes it strong; it then becomes thick, and it stands on its own stem, (filling) the sowers with wonder and delight. As a result, it fills the Unbelievers with rage at them. Allah has promised those among them who believe and do righteous deeds forgiveness, and a great Reward. (The Holy Quran Surah 48) Say (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)): "He is Allah, (the) One. "Allah-us-Samad (The Self-Sufficient Master, Whom all creatures need, He neither eats nor drinks). The last six of the Ten Commandments are said to be summarized by the statement You shall love your neighbor as yourself. And that’s well enough, but I want to take another look at them from the community standpoint. Now we come to Commandment number eight. And as I was preparing for this program, for some reason, it really struck me how important these laws are to society. The Fifth Commandment is the one that establishes and maintains family ties. It is a fundamental need of any society that families take care of their own. It’s the fragmentation of the family that leaves people sleeping on grates in the wintertime in the cities. The Sixth Commandment establishes a right to life. Thou shalt not kill, says God, and that includes manslaughter and any other unlawful or immoral destruction of human life. Any society that diminishes the right to life has set itself on the road to the trash heap of history. The Seventh Commandment establishes the sanctity of marriage and who has the rights to somebody else’s love, time and attention. It is to tie the family together for the sake of the children and, of course, the children in turn are to tie themselves to the parents—taking care of them if they have to be taken care of. Then there is the Eighth Commandment, Thou shalt not steal. This fundamental building block acknowledges the right to private property. We need to know the difference between what is ours and what is not ours. And it’s in this fundamental principle that one of the building blocks of a stable society is established. One of the biggest problems that exists in many nations around this world is that they do not properly acknowledge the right to private property and they do not protect the right to private property. They don’t protect the rights to your intellectual property: the things that you have created out of your mind and your creativity. They don’t protect your rights to the land that you live on and care for—and so on it goes. This is a fundamental building block of society. For some important groundwork on this, let’s begin in the 50th Psalm.

Escaping Continuous Contagion (Audio) David Eells - 11/18/20   Considering the dreams we have received of a new contagion ready to be released by the depopulation demons: Frances McKenzie sent this nurses witness on Hal Turner show, calling it "Anecdotal evidence… impossible to vet. However, there may be some nuggets worth pondering here. Never forget that what we call COVID disease (SARS-CoV-2 virus) was invented in a military bio-weapons lab (or at minimum under military supervision)”. https://halturnerradioshow.com/index.php/en/news-page/news-nation/nurse-covid-was-a-lie-but-now-people-are-throwing-blood-clots-all-over-and-dying-suddenly  Hal Turner Radio Show - 11/15/20 Nurse Witness: “COVID was a lie but now people are "throwing blood clots” all over and dying suddenly. I received an email from a listener to my radio show who is a nurse.   She claims that originally, the entire "COVID-19" was nowhere near the emergency it was made out to be, but NOW, young people aged 30-50 are coming into hospitals DYING and it's from "throwing blood clots" all over their bodies: Exactly what happened to ME on October 23 . . . . New disease?  Bio-attack?  Cull-the-herd by population control freaks? Here is the email I received from the nurse: "I have been working on the frontlines in acute medicine in a large northeastern hospital. When this all started I was sure it was some kind of overblown hoax or a bioweapon that didn't turn out to be as bad as what they were trying to make us believe. My hospital was empty despite TV news telling us that hospitals are overflowing and we all need to be in masks. I have known all along the whole thing is not what they are telling us; and have always suspected that our regular flu, respiratory failure (ARDS) patients etc are being labelled as COVID thanks to these faulty, manipulated tests. Aspiration pneumonia is common in the elderly and lots of these patients were labelled as "COVID". That is a fact. My conclusion was always that this is an election year deep state psy op to destroy the economy, mandate vaccines and all that NWO stuff. Clearly there has been no *real* pandemic in the way that the media portrays. I still believe all that , but something has changed in the last two weeks. Actually, about a month ago, resources were drastically cut without us being told anything other than the usual lies and BS from management. THEN.....we are suddenly being hit hard with patients in their 30's through 50s with *COVID* and these people are extremely ill and it is different than what we have been seeing all along with alleged "COVID" victims. They are throwing clots everywhere and that is what kills them. Did they release a second wave? Is it a bad flu season that appears to look like what they are calling "COVID", or is this something else completely that has no name yet. Something COMPLETELY messed up. Resources and supplies were disappearing before we started getting slammed with the latest batch of "COVID". The hospitals in this area are on their knees, staffing and resources are vanishing in conjunction with additional patients who are very ill. Too few beds, staff, equipment. Support staff and departments for nurses and doctors are being scaled back. Back in the spring and summer, nothing was happening. The ER looks like a third world zoo and the staff cannot cope. If I have to give you emergency IV meds I have to fight to get a damn IV pump and other equipment needed. We are not being stocked. It's like the budget for supplies is gone. On top of this our regular medical patients with COPD, CHF, Kidney failure are coming in sicker and sicker because the community care they need to manage their chronic illnesses is collapsing. I have been in healthcare 20 years and never have seen things this bad. I have no idea what is happening. I can only tell you what I am seeing and it is giving me a bad feeling. Hospital administration is NEVER honest with nurses and doctors and is refusing to talk to us and answer questions or hear our concerns as per usual. Any requests for help or whistleblowing on unsafe patient conditions within the hospital gets labelled as "bad attitude". This is precisely what happened to me on October 23. I awoke at 4:30 AM with severe chest pains.  I recall saying to myself "This can't be happening, I had quadruple bypass surgery for clogged heart arteries 17 months ago.  In fact, it was just about four days earlier that my cardiologist told me a CT-A scan of my chest showed everything inside with my heart and lungs was NORMAL!"  I went to hospital and was found to be in Myocardial infarction AGAIN.  Two of the four heart bypasses DEVELOPED BLOOD CLOTS and one of those bypasses (the one that feeds my left circumflex artery) was 100% blocked by blood clots.  NO FLOW.  That was the culprit causing my trouble on OCtober 23, which was a second heart attack. Left with no choice, Doctors went into my natural left circumflex artery, the one that had been bypassed 17 months earlier because it was clogged (with plaque), and inserted STENT to force it open, thus saving my life.  When I say saving my life, I mean it; I was DYING in that catheterization lab while they were doing the procedure.  I KNEW I was dying.  No joke.  It was the first and only time in my life I felt death approaching and it is a very discernible thing.  YOU KNOW you're dying. Now, I hear from this nurse that they are being swamped with dozens of "young people" who are "throwing clots all over the place" and dying. "Throwing clots"  --- just like I did.  Without any reason at all, a sudden burst of blood clots takes place inside and clogs something: Heart artery, lung, brain . . . and next thing you know, the person is DEAD.    Incidentally, the hospital I was in performed a COVID test on me that day and the test came back negative. But interestingly, my White Blood Cell Count was elevated.   In a normal person, WBC count is around 4,000-11,000.  Mine was 17,490 on 10/23/2020 indicating my body was fighting off . . .  something.  But it wasn't a major something . . . if it was major, the WBC count would have been around 22,000.  Mine was about 17,000, so it was . . . . not a big deal. The next day, my WBC count dropped to 15,760 and my final day in hospital, it dropped to 11,440. So whatever my body was fighting off, was gone and my WBC count was returning rapidly to normal.  I don't know what it was or if it was related to the clotting, my guess is not related, but I offer this as incidental info because I happen to know the facts from the test results that day. So what is it that's causing people to suddenly - and without warning - develop so many blood clots that they're DYING from it? We are not being told the facts by our government public servants.   Moreover, since some of these people are rabid population control freaks, what we may have here is an effort by these maniacs to literally "cull-the-herd" and slaughter-off a couple billion people worldwide for their twisted belief in saving the planet. I don't know what it is that we're facing yet, but I can tell you this, it hit me suddenly, without warning. I -- me personally -- was within minutes of being dead, and it is NOT "COVID." ***** David note: I asked Eve Brast who is a nurse if the testimony above sounded technically realistic and got a Yes. Then I asked her if there were any medical studies that show the possibility of this clotting disaster arising now? (Eve sent this) From Medical News Today: aPL autoantibodies https://www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/autoimmune-antibodies-may-cause-blood-clots-in-covid-19   Scientists have proposed various explanations for the presence of blood clots in people with COVID-19, including the “cytokine storm” generated by an excessive immune response, blockages to blood vessels caused by very low oxygen levels, and direct damage to blood vessels caused by SARS-CoV-2, the virus responsible for COVID-19. The present study, however, investigated a new mechanism that involves a type of antibody called an autoantibody, which attacks lipids in the body. These antibodies, known as antiphospholipid (aPL) autoantibodies, are a feature of the autoimmune disease antiphospholipid syndrome, which is associated with blood clots in veins and arteries.aPL antibodies activate various factors in the blood, including platelets, to trigger the blood clotting process. Viral infections can lead to the production of these antibodies, including — according to recent case reports — the infection that causes COVID-19. However, data on aPL antibodies and their ability to trigger blood clots in people with COVID-19 are still limited. To add to the evidence, this study tested for aPL antibodies in 172 people receiving inpatient treatment COVID-19. The scientists found that more than half of the samples from the patients contained aPL autoantibodies, using the threshold recommended by the test’s manufacturer. They also found evidence to support the theory that the antibodies could cause blood clots in COVID-19 patients. Higher levels of the antibodies were associated with having more platelets and the release of neutrophil extracellular traps (NETs). Platelets trigger the blood clotting process, and NETs are sticky webs that help trap viruses — but also promote the formation of blood clots. The team also found that antibodies taken from COVID-19 patients caused the release of NETs in blood samples from healthy people and, when injected into mice, caused the formation of blood clots in two mouse models. “Antibodies from patients with active COVID-19 infection created a striking amount of clotting in animals — some of the worst clotting we’ve ever seen,” says co-author Dr. Yogendra Kanthi, a cardiologist and specialist in vascular medicine at the University of Michigan.   Note from David:  I am suspicious but I have no medical background.  Covid has been around quite a while, and has deteriorated because it is man-made and not from nature, from the deadly “L" strain to the "S" strain.  Why hasnt this clotting showed up as this deadly danger from the beginning? They have been falsely calling the common flu COVID to inflate the numbers for political purposes.  Could they be wrong in calling this clotting COVID or could it be some new manipulation of COVID to prove a political point by bringing down the economy? Since professionals have set in motion tracking to find the history of COVID infections to track down and stop the disease…. They would not think to do new histories of this clotting if it is falsely called COVID, causing it to be able to spread without hindrance to take down the population.  The evidence proves that when Covid first came out they hid all the specifics so it could spread to a larger population.  Special Report from Greg Coleson (Compliments of P.S. Bowdi and Frances McKenzie) November 17, 2020 40 years ago in 1980 the Japanese film industry released a movie called Virus. I was 14 years old at the time it was released. An all English Version reach America the following year. It caught the world's attention having cost so much to make. At 15 years old I asked the Lord if such a thing would exist in the endtimes. He answered my question with a strange answer. He let me know that there would be a "sugar based molecule" found to solve the problem. I'll tell you right now I've never had a problem with believing anything Almighty God has given me as an answer to any questions I've had of Him but this one took 40 years to come to pass.  This science news report was released 29th January 2020.  https://advances.sciencemag.org/content/6/5/eaax9318 This article below followed a month later. While doing research on covid-19 I was shocked beyond belief when I found this.  https://www.zmescience.com/science/new-sugar-based-molecule-rips-drug-resistant-viruses-to-death/ New sugar-based molecule rips drug-resistant viruses to death It doesn't stop viruses; it destroys them.  by Alexandru Micu -  February 3, 2020 The sugar-based viricide has the most promise in use against viruses that have evolved resistance to other treatments, the team explains. It has already been patented and the team is currently setting up a new company to market it, with the end goal of developing ointments, nasal sprays, and other treatment options based on the molecule. The paper “Modified cyclodextrins as broad-spectrum antivirals” has been published in the journal Science Advances. I've never been so surprised by anything in 40 years. Being made known of this discovery brings to light a whole other perspective on the moments we now live.  In the Pure Blood Name of Jesus and by the Covenant of His Blood shall we all be Hopeful and Blessed to be made ready for what's to come.  Greg Coleson   David’s note: OK, so God has given some hope for lost man but the depopulationists have been able to bury such breakthroughs in the past.  On the other hand God has given total guarantees to His people who believe the Bible of His Divine Health and Healing: God’s Vaccine for Plagues/Pestilence With so many different plagues or pestilences spreading around, what can we do to protect ourselves and our families by God’s power? Consider carefully these seven simple steps for Divine Health. 1). If you havent already, Ask Jesus to Give you His born again Spirit so you are entitled to the benefits of His Kingdom. Joh 3:3  Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except one be born anew, he cannot see the kingdom of God. Eze 18:31  Cast away from you all your transgressions, wherein ye have transgressed; and make you a new heart and a new spirit: for why will ye die, O house of Israel?  Eze 36:26  A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you; and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh.  2) Ask God to fill you with His Holy Spirit for Power over the curse: Act 1:8  But ye shall receive power, when the Holy Spirit is come upon you: and ye shall be my witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea and Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. Act 2:4  And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance. Mar 16:17  And these signs shall accompany them that believe: in my name shall they cast out demons; they shall speak with new tongues; (Demons can also be spirits of infirmity or sickness as in the Bible) Act 19:2  and he said unto them, Did ye receive the Holy Spirit when ye believed? And they said unto him, Nay, we did not so much as hear whether the Holy Spirit was given. … 6  And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Spirit came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied. Act 4:31  And when they had prayed, the place was shaken wherein they were gathered together; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spake the word of God with boldness. Act 13:52  And the disciples were filled with joy and with the Holy Spirit. Eph 5:18  And be not drunken with wine, wherein is riot, but be filled with the Spirit; 3) Repent and Confess sin so you can have faith to be healed:  1Jn 1:7-9  but if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanseth us from all sin.  8  If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.  9  If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1Jn 3:20-22  because if our heart condemn us, God is greater than our heart, and knoweth all things.  21  Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, we have boldness toward God;  22  and whatsoever we ask we receive of him, because we keep his commandments and do the things that are pleasing in his sight. Heb 10:26-28  For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more a sacrifice for sins,  27  but a certain fearful expectation of judgment, and a fierceness of fire which shall devour the adversaries.  28  A man that hath set at nought Moses' law dieth without compassion on the word of two or three witnesses: Jam 5:16  Confess therefore your sins one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed 4) Believe God’s Promises concerning sicknesses: 1Pe 2:24  who his own self bare our sins in his body upon the tree, that we, having died unto sins, might live unto righteousness; by whose stripes ye were healed. Psa 103:3-4  Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; Who healeth all thy diseases;  4  Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; Who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies; Mar 11:23-24  Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou taken up and cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that what he saith cometh to pass; he shall have it.  24  Therefore I say unto you, All things whatsoever ye pray and ask for, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them. Jas 5:14-16  Is any among you sick? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord:  15  and the prayer of faith shall save him that is sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, it shall be forgiven him.  16  Confess therefore your sins one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The supplication of a righteous man availeth much in its working. Mat 18:19  Again I say unto you, that if two of you shall agree on earth as touching anything that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father who is in heaven. Mar 16:17-18  And these signs shall accompany them that believe: in my name shall they cast out demons; they shall speak with new tongues;  18  they shall take up serpents, and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall in no wise hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. Gal 3:13-14  Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us; for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:  14  that upon the Gentiles might come the blessing of Abraham in Christ Jesus; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith. (Jesus bore the curse of sickness listed in Deu.28) 5) Believe in the authority given to you by Jesus: Mat 28:18-20  And Jesus came to them and spake unto them, saying, All authority hath been given unto me in heaven and on earth.  19  Go ye therefore, and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them into the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit:  20  teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I commanded you: and lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. (Notice that everything that Jesus commanded the first disciples He commands us.) Mat 10:8  Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse the lepers, cast out demons: freely ye received, freely give. (During the plagues many will die.  The Lord may instruct you to raise individuals from the dead.  If so command it done with boldness and do not be double minded.) Jas 1:5-8  But if any of you lacketh wisdom, let him ask of God, who giveth to all liberally and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.  6  But let him ask in faith, nothing doubting: for he that doubteth is like the surge of the sea driven by the wind and tossed.  7  For let not that man think that he shall receive anything of the Lord;  8  a doubleminded man, unstable in all his ways. Luk 9:1  And he called the twelve together, and gave them power and authority over all demons, and to cure diseases. Luk 10:19  Behold, I have given you authority to tread upon serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall in any wise hurt you. (So Tell the spirits of sickness what you want them to do) Joh 20:21  Jesus therefore said to them again, Peace be unto you: as the Father hath sent me, even so send I you.  Mat 18:18  Verily I say unto you, What things soever ye shall bind (forbid) on earth shall be bound in heaven; and what things soever ye shall loose (permit) on earth shall be loosed (permitted) in heaven.  Col 1:13  who delivered us out of the power of darkness, and translated us into the kingdom of the Son of his love; Job 22:28  Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee; And light shall shine upon thy ways. 6) Confess your salvation from sickness and your authority over it: (“Confess” is the Greek word “Homo-logeo” meaning, “speak the same as”. We must speak what God says about us and our salvation from the curse of sickness and plague.) Rom 10:10  for with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. (Note: If we look at the examples given in scripture for “saved” (verb) and “salvation” (noun) the Greek words are sozo and soteria), we realize that this is used for physical healing, saving from difficult situations and deliverance from demons of infirmity. Jesus saved us spirit, soul, and body as He and His disciples demonstrated.) Heb 3:1  Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of a heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our confession, even Jesus; (Jesus offers our confession before the Father and the angels that we may receive the benefits of the Kingdom.). Heb 4:14  Having then a great high priest, who hath passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. Mat 10:32  Every one therefore who shall confess me before men, him will I also confess before my Father who is in heaven. Luk 12:8  And I say unto you, Every one who shall confess me before men, him shall the Son of man also confess before the angels of God: 1Ti 6:12  Fight the good fight of the faith, lay hold on the life eternal, whereunto thou wast called, and didst confess the good confession in the sight of many witnesses. Heb 10:23  let us hold fast the confession of our hope that it waver not; for he is faithful that promised: Heb 13:15  Through him then let us offer up a sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of lips which make confession to his name (Greek: Nature, Character, and authority). Act 3:6  But Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but what I have, that give I thee. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, walk. (The disciples commanded healing because it was already given by the sacrificial stripes of Jesus.) 7) Health is given by God and may be declared before sickness comes for immunity: Exo 15:26  and he said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of Jehovah thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his eyes, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of the diseases upon thee, which I have put upon the Egyptians: for I am Jehovah that healeth thee. Exo 12:13  And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye are: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and there shall no plague be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt. Psa 91:1-16  He that dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High (This is abiding in Christ through faith in His sacrifice for your sins and sickness) Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.  2  I will say of Jehovah, He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in whom I trust.  3  For he will deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, And from the deadly pestilence.  4  He will cover thee with his pinions, And under his wings shalt thou take refuge: His truth is a shield and a buckler.  5  Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night, Nor for the arrow that flieth by day;  6  For the pestilence that walketh in darkness, Nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.  7  A thousand shall fall at thy side, And ten thousand at thy right hand; But it shall not come nigh thee.  8  Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold, And see the reward of the wicked.  9  For thou, O Jehovah, art my refuge! Thou hast made the Most High thy habitation;  10  There shall no evil befall thee, Neither shall any plague come nigh thy tent.  11  For he will give his angels charge over thee, To keep thee in all thy ways.  12  They shall bear thee up in their hands, Lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.  13  Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: The young lion and the serpent shalt thou trample under foot.  14  Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.  15  He shall call upon me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble: I will deliver him, and honor him.  16  With long life will I satisfy him, And show him my salvation. According to these words from the Lord, Declare immunity or healing boldly from your heart and command the demons who administer the curse. For Example: I was healed by the stipes of Jesus!  No plague will come near my household!  Jesus bore my curse of sin and death!  I forbid plagues to come to this household in Jesus name. Be healed in Jesus name!  I bind any plague from coming to myself and my family in Jesus name!  I claim the blood of Jesus saves my household! Go Coronavirus, Ebola, Flu, etc. in Jesus name. In the name of Jesus Christ I command you to return to your body. (You may command anything that there is precedent in the Word for.) Unlocking the Hidden Character: Is Michael Jesus?

Unlocking the Hidden CharacterMost consistent question – why are you inferring Michael is JesusSome think that Jesus waited 4,000 years to personally intervene in the affairs of man. I want to make it crystal clear to you that Jesus has been personally actively working on behalf of mankind since day 1. Jesus is Michael – Michael is the archangel – the archangel is the chief of all the angels and is also known as THE angel of the Lord. Scripture does not reward the casual readerJohn 1:1-4 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.2 The same was in the beginning with God.3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men.Genesis 1:1 in the beginning God created the heavens and the earth…This is why Jesus said; "Your father Abraham rejoiced to see My day, and he saw it and was glad" (John 8:56). Jesus appeared personally to Abraham when the Patriarch interceded for Lot (Genesis 18:26). Genesis 1 and Hebrews 1 and John 1 – tell us clearly that Jesus is the creator of all things – all life – all beings in the universe. This means He was the active agent in creating the angelic race of beings – including the first – Lucifer – the lightbearer – the morning star. There is a good reason why Jesus is sometimes portrayed as an angel but it can be only be understood with an investigation into the angels. In Rev.4:5,6 we see a description of the seven angelsThese angels are divided into two orders - cherubim and seraphim. AccordingEze. 10:9 there are four cherubim and Eze. 10:21 says they have four wings, this meansthe other three are seraphim. In reference to the devil the bible. reads "Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth "...Eze.28:14. The only angels that can cover themselves while flying are the seraphimbecause of their six wings [Isa. 6:2] so a covering cherub is a seraphim. This means the devil was of the highest order. The description given of him in Eze.28:11-15 would indicate he was the head angel, he was unique! With the loss of the head angel Jesus stepped in to fill the void because now there were only three seraphim so Jesus also became known as "Prince of host" Dan. 8:11."How you have fallen from heaven, O morning star son of the dawn…or Oh Lucifer son of the morning"...Isa.14:12. When Jesus stepped in to fill this position he accepted the same title. "I Jesus ...the bright and Morning Star" Rev.22:16.Ellen White commenting on the war in heaven describes a moment when it had to be made clear that Jesus was higher in rank than all. Baptist preacher Charles H. Spurgeon (1834-1892) John Calvin:John Wesley:Jewish Midrash Judaism, Michael was the fourth being that saved the Hebrew boys from the Fiery furnacePuritans Matthew Poole and Matthew Henry Martin LutherThe phrase "angel of the Lord" is found 68 times in Scripture. Sometimes it applies to Gabriel who appeared to Daniel, Zacharias, and Mary. But Gabriel is called "an" angel of the Lord (Luke 1:11). He is not referred to as "the" angel of the Lord. Neither is he ever called the archangel. Daniel 1010 And, behold, an hand touched me, which set me upon my knees and upon the palms of my hands.11 And he said unto me, O Daniel, a man greatly beloved, understand the words that I speak unto thee, and stand upright: for unto thee am I now sent. And when he had spoken this word unto me, I stood trembling.12 Then said he unto me, Fear not, Daniel: for from the first day that thou didst set thine heart to understand, and to chasten thyself before thy God, thy words were heard, and I am come for thy words.13 But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days: but, lo, Michael, one of the chief princes --- the chief of the princes, came to help me; and I remained there with the kings of Persia.20 Then said he, Knowest thou wherefore I come unto thee? and now will I return to fight with the prince of Persia: and when I am gone forth, lo, the prince of Grecia shall come.21 But I will shew thee that which is noted in the scripture of truth: and there is none that holdeth with me in these things, but Michael your princeDaniel 1212 And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book."Will the defendant please rise?"Jude 1:9 Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke you.The only other passage in the Bible that uses the word "archangel" is 1 Thessalonians 4:16. "For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first."John 5:21 – Jesus is the life giver and one who raises the deadThe Revelation of Jesus Christ -  1:18 – Jesus says “I am the living one. I died, but look—I am alive forever and ever! And I hold the keys of death and the grave.”Revelation 12:7And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, the word "angel" means messenger, Sometimes, men are called angels in the Bible 1 Samuel 29:9 Galatians 4:14. And sometimes angels are called men Genesis 32:24. And in other places, God Himself is identified as an angel!  The Key Is in the Name. In the Greek New Testament, the word "angel" means "messenger," and "arch" means "chief, principle, greatest, or highest." So "archangel" simply means "highest or greatest messenger." The Hebrew name "Michael," found in the Old Testament, means "who is like God" So the title Michael the archangel can be translated as "The greatest messenger who is God….or who is like God"The chief of the angels – not just one of but the angel of the LordStories in the Bible Hagar"And the angel of the Lord found her by a fountain of water in the wilderness" (Genesis 16:7). When the "angel" disappeared, Hagar "called the name of the Lord that spake unto her, Thou God seest me" (verse 13). AbrahamGod told Abraham to sacrifice his son Isaac on mount Moriah. Just as he was about to plunge the dagger into his son of promise, the angel of the Lord stopped him. "And the angel of the Lord called unto him out of heaven, and said, 'Abraham, Abraham:' and he said, 'Here am I.' And he said, 'Lay not thine hand upon the lad, neither do thou any thing unto him: for now I know that thou fearest God, seeing thou hast not withheld thy son, thine only son from me'" (Genesis 22:11, 12).  (Genesis 22:15-18). Jacob – wrestles with the angel of the LordMosesMoses saw a burning bush that was not consumed. "And the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush" (Exodus 3:2). Verse 4 identifies this angel: "God called unto him out of the midst of the bush." And in verse 6 He identifies Himself again. "I am the God of thy father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob." The angel of the Lord identifies Himself as God! ---REPEATED BY STEPHEN  (Acts 7:30-32). Children of IsraelThe Angel of God, which went before the camp of Israel, removed and went behind them; and the pillar of the cloud went from before their face, and stood behind them" (Exodus 14:19). BalaamJudgesGideonManoahSamson's mother, the wife of Manoah, was barren. "And the angel of the Lord appeared unto the woman" (Judges 13:3). When the angel came the second time, Manoah asked him his name. The King James says that the angel told Manoah that his name was "Secret," that translates as "Wonderful." ----Isaiah's prophecy foretold that Jesus would be called, "Wonderful, Counselor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace" (Isaiah 9:6). after seeing this "Wonderful messenger," Manoah declared they had seen God. And Manoah said to his wife, "We shall surely die, because we have seen God!" (Judges 13:22). No One has Seen the FatherSince no man has seen God the Father, all of these Old Testament sightings of God as the "angel of the Lord" must have been Jesus, God the Son, veiling His glory Rebuking the AccuserZechariah was given a vision of Joshua the high priest standing before the angel of the Lord. Satan is standing at his right hand to resist him. Here we see two adversaries contending over a sinful human being. Joshua's filthy garment symbolizes his sin. (Zechariah 3:3). In this narrative, the name changes quickly from "the angel of the Lord" (verse 1) to "the Lord" (verse 2), indicating again that they are the same. Then the Lord makes an interesting statement. "And the Lord said unto Satan, The Lord rebuke thee, O Satan" (Zechariah 3:2). There is only one other place in Scripture, Jude 1:9, where this sentence is found—and Michael the archangel speaks it! Worshiping the CommanderIn Revelation 12, Michael is portrayed as commander and captain - leading the heavenly hosts, or armies of angels, in the war against the Lucifer and the fallen angels Just as Israel was preparing for its first battle after crossing into the Promised Land, Joshua had an encounter with an unusual warrior. (Joshua 5:13-15).  "And it came to pass, when Joshua was by Jericho, that he lifted up his eyes and looked, and, behold, there stood a man over against him with his sword drawn in his hand: and Joshua went unto him, and said unto him, Art thou for us, or for our adversaries? And he said, Nay; but as captain of the host of the Lord am I now come. And Joshua fell on his face to the earth, and did worship, and said unto him, What saith my lord unto his servant? And the captain of the Lord's host said unto Joshua, Loose thy shoe from off thy foot; for the place whereon thou standest is holy. And Joshua did so" Angels alone – reject worship -  (see Revelation 19:10; 22:8, 9). CONCLUSION12 And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.DANIEL 7:22 TELLS US – Jesus Judges in favor of the saints. 1 Corinthians 6:2-3 - Don’t you realize that someday we believers will judge the world? Don’t you realize that we will judge angels?

TW: This first story is graphic in every way.  For the first time in Scared To Death history, NO ANNOUNCEMENTS! Woohoo! Kicking it right off with the good stuff, Dan dives into the story of The Haunting of Doris Bither which was the inspiration for the 1978 novel and the 1983 movie, The Entity. It's an interesting and well documented story. How would you react if 30 people crammed into your bedroom and witnessed the paranormal activity you had been claiming was ruining your life? Does that make it real? Listen in to hear this juicy and tragic tale! In Dan's second tale, he explores the possibility of a supposed Ghost Ship, the Mary Celeste. That's not a ship haunted by ghosts but rather, a ship that is found out at sea with no signs of life or death!  In Lynze's half of the show, she shares not two but three tales this week! She starts out with a story that will make you think about how old a ghost might be and if ghosts come back to visit on the anniversary of their deaths. In story number two, we head up to visit our friends in Canada to hear the story of The Raven House, a house that might make you wonder if good ghosts and bad ghosts have some kind of relationship in their world. Can a good ghost protect you from a bad ghost? In the final story of the show, Lynze brings back a favorite kind of spirit, the jinn (also, djinn).  Thank you for continuing to send in your stories, Creeps and Peepers! Please keep doing so. “Thou art from everlasting.” — Psalm 93:2 Christ is EVERLASTING. Of Him we may sing with David, “Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever.” Rejoice, believer, in Jesus Christ, the same yesterday, to-day, and for ever. Jesus always was. Did God create sexually-transmitted diseases as a trap for man? Is it a kind of punishment to man for having too much fun? Is that the whole idea—that God created man, and then in a mischievous moment, He said, Let’s put some venereal diseases in the population so that if men sin, we can get them? I don’t think so. That doesn’t sound like the God you read about in the Bible. I think STDs are an example of what can happen when viral and bacteriological strains are given an indefinite life in which to mutate and change. I’m not an expert in this area at all, but your body is teaming with bacteria, right now. Try not to panic, most of them are harmless and some of them are even good for you. When we have sex with another person, we trade some bacteria with our partner every time and bacteria mutate in the lifetime of a man or a woman and they may change a bit, but the strains we exchange between one man and one woman won’t survive us. We will never hurt another human being because they won’t go beyond our family, and the chances are that if we started off clean, in the end, there still will not be a problem because the bacteria will not have had time to change beyond certain limits. However, if we add additional people to the mix and we give those strains of bacteria indefinite life, immortal life as it were, they can go on and on for 1,000 or 2,000 or 3,000 years or longer. If we allow the bacteria that kind of time to change and to mutate, all bets are off. Now I can’t tell you that’s how STDs originated, just take it as an analogy to what might have happened, in a realization that God didn’t create these things. Man, by his sins, created these things. Think about this, if we could somehow manage worldwide monogamy for a generation or two, we could wipe out all STDs, including AIDS. They would be gone, over, finished, disappeared. Now does that give us a message or not? So why blame God for it? It’s our problem. We created it. God told us how to avoid it. So why did God say, then, Thou shall not commit adultery?

The defendant is 20 years old, but he looks more like 16. He is wearing blue jeans and a sweater and his hair is neatly cut. He looks for all the world like he should have books under his arm and be headed to class, but the district attorney says, He’s a cold-blooded killer. It seems he held up a convenience store late one night. The clerk offered no resistance, gave him all the money in the cash register, and had his hands up. But as he scooped up the money and stuffed it into his pockets, this thief calmly raised his pistol and shot the clerk squarely between the eyes—just to leave no witnesses. Now, the district attorney wants you, the jury, to find him guilty and sentence him to death. How do you feel about that? Mind you now, he’s guilty. There’s no doubt whatsoever, much less a reasonable doubt. We have pictures of him on a security camera. Clearly he’s the guy who shot the clerk. We even have more evidence than that. Some of you would sentenced him to death in a heartbeat. Others would say, Well, wait a minute. If we kill him, we’re no better than he is. Of course, if you didn’t believe in the death penalty, you wouldn’t even be on this hypothetical jury, but the underlying question still remains, the Sixth Commandment is, Thou shalt not kill. Shall we, or shall we not, kill this boy for his crime? Where do we look for guidance on the question of the right and the wrong of killing someone? Can you appeal to social norms? Well, our society says that what the young man did was wrong and that he should die for it. The will of society is expressed in the law of the land. The problem with that is that the law of the land—the social norms in some nations—calls for the death of innocent people because of their race or their religion. Now, are we really prepared to say that society is the authority on this issue? Can we let society call this issue without guidance from someplace? You do understand, don’t you, that letting society call the shots is a prescription for genocide. I’ve heard people appeal to the fact that human life is sacred. But tell me, how can a high-school teacher explain that to kids saying that human life is sacred, when sacredness is a religious concept; it has to do with something that is holy?

When the demand for potatoes plummeted during the outbreak of COVID-19, Ryan did something unthinkable. He dumped 2 million pounds of potatoes on his farm and, through a Facebook post, invited anyone to take what they needed. Little did he know that this post would reach a single mother in Kenya and give him the opportunity to act on the Savior's invitation to feed His sheep both physically and spiritually. Show Notes:  To see pictures and links for this episode, go to LDSLiving.com/thisisthegospel Transcript:  KaRyn  0:03  Welcome to This Is the Gospel, an LDS Living podcast where we feature real stories from real people who are practicing and living their faith every day. I'm your host, KaRyn Lay. At the time of this recording, I am currently in quarantine waiting for the results of my COVID-19 test. I'm okay. It's okay. But it is amazing how quickly a little under-the-weather feeling sends us into a downward spiral of brain frenzy. Where have I been? Who was I with? Did I take off my mask somewhere forget to wash my hands that one time? Who did I give this to? It's enough to drive you crazy, whether it's COVID or not. But it also has me thinking about this week's theme and story because in the midst of all the uncertainty and exhaustion I have been fed, literally and figuratively, a simple warm bowl of soup from Chick-fil-A on the porch from a neighbor, a just-checking-in text from a friend, an offer to take things off my work plate, bless you. And a well-timed scripture in my "Come, Follow Me" study that's bringing me a lot of hope. All of these things have helped me to know that I am not alone, even when I'm feeling really vulnerable. And they bring me a sense of safety of peace, and, like I said, hope. I think that regardless how we interpret or act on the Savior's charge after His resurrection to feed His sheep, the end result for those that we care about will be the same—a sense of safety, of peace, of fullness, and of hope. And in today's episode, we have one story from Ryan, a farmer in Idaho who thought he was being prompted to do what farmers do: feed people from the land. But it wasn't the potatoes that ultimately made the biggest difference. Here's Ryan. Ryan  1:47  We farm about 20,000 acres. We do a lot of potatoes and sugar beets, and a lot of other crops as well as cattle. We grow potatoes for both the process industry, which is companies that make french fries, that's our biggest customers is the french fry. And then we also do fresh pack where we're part-owners in the company that packs potatoes into boxes and bags that go to grocery stores and restaurants. This last year, was in 2019, was a great year. We were super excited at the end of the harvest, we had a great crop, things are looking very good and the economy was doing well. People were out in about, you know, eating and restaurants. And there actually was a really good demand for potatoes, specifically. And there also was a little bit of a tight supply of potatoes and so potato prices looked like they were going to be at record levels. So we were really excited about how things look for us. And so a lot of optimism going into the first part of 2020. And then, you know, sometime around, you know, the end of January, in the very first part of February, I started to hear a little bit about this virus. I remember, right at the very beginning having kind of a sick feeling in my gut, you know, this could be something very serious, both for the world but also for our company. And then we started talking about how are we going to control this, we're going to do shut downs and things like that, then the reality really start setting. So the first thing that we saw here was the food service side, the restaurants really took a beating as they began to close down. And so we saw our customers' demand go from very strong to almost a complete stop. I felt a sense of almost panic at the time. I felt like that, you know, we could be in financial jeopardy, that potentially it could take farms out of business. At this time, we were praying as a family that we would be able to sustain through this difficult time, asking for Heavenly Father's help to get through it. I also asked many times, "What is it we need to learn from this experience? What are the correct decisions might be that we continue to support our family here for generations to come?" So I guess April time is planting time, but it's also the time of the year where we have still have potatoes in storage from the previous year's harvest. Usually, we can either sell those to other farmers or we can take those to the dehydrated market make dehydrated flakes. And so I made the usual phone calls to the dehydrating companies. They just laughed at me, they're like, "We're not buying anything right now. We don't see anything opening up." You know, farmers were cutting back because of their contracts and what they were going to plant so there was no one to sell the potatoes to. They were beautiful potatoes. You know, I really struggled with what to do with them. And the other only option that we had was to be to feed them to cattle as we have some of our own cattle. So that's kind of what our initial intent would be to dump them on the ground, we could feed them later to our own cows. But as a as a dumped them there looked at how pretty the potatoes were. And when we were all said and done, we had about 2 million pounds of potatoes. And if you figure about, you know, a half pound is a potato, there's probably 4 million potatoes there. I'm like surely there's got to be something that would be a better use than cattle feed. So I pondered that over for a part of a day. And I had the distinct impression to give some of them away. I knew that people were, some people lost their jobs, maybe struggling financially. So I just made a post on Facebook or something along the lines of, "Due to COVID, we're gonna have to dump some potatoes, you're welcome to come get some if you'd like some." Really, I had no idea that people will take that as seriously as they did. I thought maybe a few friends, neighbors would come gather a few up and the rest would go to cattle feed. But I was wrong majorly wrong. The first day, people started to show up, you know, friends, neighbors, just car after car after car. And I would say hundreds of people the first day came. We were just blown away. We couldn't believe the amount of traffic and it was like a almost like a highway. So then, the next day, I thought things would be over and it would quiet down. But by early morning, this traffic started up again. And same thing, steady stream of traffic going by. And so during this whole time, the Facebook posts started to spread. And I started to get a lot of comments, but a lot of shares, ended up with over 10,000 shares when it was all said and done. So we started to see, after the first few days, people come from far away into you know, Utah, up into the Boise Valley, both a three, four hour drives. Then even brass even farther and I saw people come in from down into Nevada and Elko and Wells, you're starting to talk no more like a five or six hour drive. And then as far as way as Las Vegas and Moscow, Idaho, straight, you know, 10-hour drives. One lady called from Kansas, which is like an 18 hour drive. And after a day or two what really started to stand out to me was the reason why people were coming to get the potatoes. The gas money was way more than what the potatoes were worth in, all circumstances. But I started to get a glimpse of the people just wanted to come and do something good for somebody else. It was the beginning of the lockdown, they been locked in their home. And I think it was just a great way for people to have an opportunity to get a glimpse of something they could do, something kind for other people. And that's really what amazed me. I would say 95% of everyone that came came in for somebody else. You know, I made a connection with a man out of New York City and we shipped a full semi load of boxed potatoes to the Bronx. And they were just trying to do something good for their community. And that was really the story of what I saw. As people reached out, many people wanted to help. We'd get anonymous donations from as far away as New York and Canada. And they felt like, you know, with the potatoes that we were giving away, that was, you know, going to bankrupt us. That really wasn't the case. Initially, I refused that. I didn't want to take money for this. This was something we kind of talked about as a company that we would continue to just give them away. Somebody tried to slip envelopes here and there, but we'd give them back. But I really couldn't stop the money that was coming in from distant lands and anonymous money. So as the Facebook posts expanded, I started to hear from some news agencies. I did interviews with CNN, Fox News, ABC, NBC, I do a little podcast with NPR. And then some of those stories ended up into the national or the world media. And so I started to have messages and comments and emails from people from all over the world. And one of the people that I noticed on one of the Facebook comments, was a lady named Susan. She's from Kenya, and, for whatever reason, I'll just remember, seeing her picture and this impression that I wanted to just see what she had to say. And so I clicked on her comment. And the comment was something along the lines, "I wish you could send some of those potatoes to me." But just, you know, shipping potatoes to Kenya or even other parts of countries, you know, it's cost prohibitive so it's not going to work. So I responded, "Well, I wish I could. What is it like in Kenya with COVID?" She just commented that she lived in Nairobi, Kenya, and it's a city of about 4 million people. We're talking dirt floor, tin shack, cardboard-type homes, and she just explained how they were living hand to mouth as it was, you know, trying to feed her family. She's a single mother of three children. And then with the lockdowns that the government had put on, imposed upon them in Kenya, you know, they really didn't have an opportunity to go into work and, you know, bring food home to the family. And so as I thought about a little bit, I come back and asked her a little bit later, you know, if there's nothing I can do to help? She really says, "Well, I don't think there's much you can do to help. But we just need something to eat." So I think I thought about that a little bit and in my pickup, I've had $100 bill that had been floating around in the center console of my truck for almost a year. And I'm like, "I'll just, I'm just gonna send her this money." And it's really not that easy to send money to Kenya. We finally figured out how to do it. And so I ended up sending the money over there to Susan. And a couple days later, I think it was over the weekend, so I think on Monday, she sent me a little picture of her family as they come back from the store with their groceries. And she brought back, you know, a big bag of flour, rice, and cooking oil and sugar, and just the staples, beans. And right on the very top a little there's one little teeny pack of cookies. It just struck me funny as we eat here in our country and go shopping, you know, you bring home for frozen pizzas and Snickers bars and ice cream and just things that didn't even cross her mind. And she wrote me back and she sent a picture and just saying, "Thank you. This will fit our family for months." So I continue to have money come into the company to help us. I've been thinking about you know, "Is there something I could do with this money, or something I could leverage to make this something bigger?" And in one of my conversations with Susan, she said, "My dream and prayer is to educate my children and to see them go to the university. I don't want them to raise their children in the ghetto like I have raised them." I don't know, there's something that really struck a chord with me on that. And so almost immediately, I had an idea, I'm like, "That's what I want to do. I'm gonna, I'm gonna help her children receive an education." And so I had the thought, "Okay, I'm gonna take the money that have already been given and put that toward the cause. I'm going to do a GoFundMe and I'll send this out to everyone that was wrote these nice comments and things on my Facebook page, I linked that to it. And so I pondered over it on a Sunday, all day. I started to do a little video to put that out and asking people for help. And I thought people responded really well to it. So we were able to raise more than enough, I think, to put most her kids through college. I think some people felt like maybe it could be a scam, or something like that. But I really felt in my heart, I knew that it was not. I had big, long conversations with Susan. I knew her heart. And so I was so excited about it. I'd share it with the family every day, we sit around the dinner table discussing where we're at what to do, and we've decided that even if we come up short, we as a family, we're gonna pitch in and make the dream happen for them one way or the other. And about then I kind of lost contact with Susan. At first, I was, I was a little bit wary. I'm like, okay, you know, what if something happened to her or. . .  But then I saw a post, and I think she had maybe even posted it herself, on Facebook and of like bulldozers bulldozing buildings and stuff down. And so I clicked on it and it was following that a little bit. And so I looked it up on the news and there was an article on it in the Kenyan news about how the goverment was working on a big waterworks project and this sewer plan, so they decided to knock those homes down. And, and so, as that was all demolished and twisted up in the metal and some of the belongings, and that, you know, I know that it was probably very devastating for, for her. And so the excitement of raising, you know, the money to help her children was kind of overcome with, we just needed to survive the next while. I was very nervous about how they were. Prior to and during this process, I made another friend in Kenya in Nairobi, his name was Titus. And he's a member of the Church there was in the bishopric in one of the wards and he seen an article on LDS Living that had been done about the story. So he reached out to me and just asked if there's something you could do to help. So I asked him if he'd go see if you could find Susan. And I had her phone number, but he was able to track her down and to check in on her. She found some shelter in a church, somewhere in the city for a few nights. And she had family nearby. And so her one sister let her stay with her for a shorter period of time while she got her feet back under underneath her. And so eventually, I heard back from her, and she, you know, she told me what had happened. They were safe. They were sound, they just needed somewhere to stay. She's was very discouraged, and in quite a bit of despair, I would say. So it was about this time that we started to have a little bits of discussions on occasion about God, talking about faith. And I asked her if she'd be willing to meet with the missionaries from my church, and that they would have a message that they would share with her that potentially changed her life, for the better – forever. She willingly accepted. And said she'd be happy to meet with the missionaries. So how do you get in contact with missionaries in a foreign country? Our friend, good friend, Titus, connected us with the missionaries and was able to get her phone number, make the connection, and so the missionaries like right away, they started to teach the first discussion. She'd come over to the church where they met and did a discussion and gave her a little tour of the church, and  . . . But as I've seen before, as I served on my own mission is, you know, sometimes as people start to learn and hear about the gospel, life can get really complicated for them pretty fast. And so, again, I couldn't make contact with Susan for quite some time. Finally, Titus, I think was able to track her down, and she's been robbed, and had been her – had her phone stolen. And I just thought, Well, yeah, this is – she's starting to learn about something that really can have life changing meaning in her life as she prepares to learn about the Savior and the Gospel. And then she's robbed. Like, what else could possibly go wrong? Again, an impression come to me that, you know, sometimes during our darkest hour comes – next comes the light. I really felt like that was going to be the case that Susan would soon see light in her life. And I didn't know exactly what that meant. I really wasn't that optimistic that things would go far with the missionaries, but I knew that there was going to be something good that happened in her life. In all our discussions with Susan, she never asked me for a single thing, and one day, she sent me a little message. And she said, "I feel like that I'm becoming a burden to you." She wanted to become more self–reliant and to be able to take care of her family. She expressed her concern in doing that. She didn't want to be a burden to others. She said that her doctor had told her that she needed to quit doing what she has done for an occupation to help feed her family, and that was doing construction. I have pictures of her packing these huge concrete blocks on her shoulders into the construction sites. And she talked about how how little money that paid how hard it was, and it had done damage to her back. Many times the women over there were taken advantage of and sometimes not even paid for their work. She said that she has an opportunity, that something she knows, to start her own business. And so she asked me the first time for something, and that was "Would you loan me some money so that I'll be able to start this business?" It was just a few hundred dollars, a very small amount. So I told her, "Yeah, I'd be, I'd be thrilled to help you start your own business." And so it had come to me the thought about the self–reliance course on how to start your business. And so I reached out to Titus and asked him if he could come up with the manuals and the books. And he did. And he took them to Susan and gave it to her. And so a week or so later, I asked her, "How's the business start–up going?" And she says, "No, I'm not, I'm not doing any of that, I  want to finish reading the self-reliance manual first." And so she was like, really into it, you know, reading the self-reliance program and how it can help her, and then Susan was able to start her own fruit stand business. So it's about this time that she was pretty quiet about things. And Titus actually told me first that she made a decision to be baptized, her and her daughter. But then the next day, in the conversation with Susan, she told me that she decided to be baptized and become a member of the Church. I was thrilled. I expressed to her that I wish that I could be there for it, because I really wanted it to be. I wish I could just jump on an airplane, fly out there, but I knew that wouldn't be realistic. I asked, "Could you make sure you send me pictures?" And so I asked her that, and she – and they did, they sent lots of pictures. And Titus was there too and he sent me pictures. It was a really special day, just to see the smiles on her face and see them all dressed in white. It was kind of surreal, but it was something that really touched me and our family was in celebration for the whole day. It was just a great experience to see. And I knew this could be a great beginning, that could really change her life and the lives of her children. She's expressed to me many times about her testimony and God and His desire to help her and that she's recognized that things will come in their own due time, in God's own time. We've since taken some of the education fund, and we've got her kids enrolled in private school. Public school in downtown Nairobi, you know it's a very difficult circumstance – 150 kids shoved into one classroom, there's not a lot of learning going and so we felt like if they're gonna have a chance at the university, that private school is going to be the best for them. And it's not a lot of money, a small amount. She sent me a pictures of her boys on the first day of school all dressed in their little uniforms and their books. It was the cutest thing you've ever seen. Her daughter, Serena just enrolled in school, but because of COVID her schools are still shut down, and so we haven't been able to get her in yet. At times in our life, when we think times are the most difficult, and are the most challenges it's really something that can end up being our greatest blessings. And I've seen that many times in my life. It's something that we see on the farm all the time, if the rain comes for 30 days straight – at the time it seems like the worst possible thing in the world because we can't get the work done, can't get it done timely. But six months later, when we're harvesting our crop and we have record crops – then comes the blessing that we see the law of the harvest, of how what seemed like the most difficult thing really ended up being something great. And I think we're seeing that in, in this circumstance with, you know, having to dump potatoes, you know, what seemed like a total disaster ended up being such a wonderful blessing, lead to a family in Kenya, on the other side of the world that could potentially have their lives changed forever. I just couldn't envision that at first. But I knew that as they had prayed, what could we experience, what could we learn from this COVID and from the whole tailored experience of being patient and waiting on the Lord's time for that to come to pass. I really feel like that has come to fruition and really just see somebody's live blessed as we learn to listen to the promptings of our Heavenly Father that come to us and follow them. It's really how we accomplish going about doing God's work that He would do if He was here Himself, to do our Heavenly Father's work. And I really want to envision and look just to see if Susan's family, a decade from now, a generation or two from now, to see what kind of difference that made. Something little, a little thing like dumping a few potatoes out in a, in a pile on the edge of a field, how that can lead to change the lives of many generations to come and really to see great things come to pass. That's really a testament to me of really how God works. We have to have trust in Him and what He allows us to go through and the trials that we have that that He – iti is maybe be what's best for us and really can be our greatest blessing.   KaRyn  26:28  That was Ryan Cranney. LDS Living first shared Ryan and Susan's story in a written article this past spring, and we loved that we could get it in Ryan's own words here on the podcast. And because you know that we love to have all sides of the story here at This Is the Gospel, we did reach out to Susan to see if we could make that happen. But the time differences from Kenya to the US and technological challenges made it impossible right now. We're so grateful for her willingness to be part of the story and we will have more of her own words in our show notes as soon as we possibly can. You know, when story producer Katie Lambert was working on this story, she remarked to me several times, pretty much every time we talked about it, how much she enjoyed Ryan's unassuming demeanor. She is well acquainted with the Idaho farmer life and said that he is an Idaho farmer through and through. Matter of fact about the loss of a major part of his income for the year, and matter of fact about his decisions to give the potatoes away and matter of fact about his prompting to share the gospel of Jesus Christ with Susan and her family. I'm in awe of Ryan solid faith in God's timing and His plan for each of us. He understands something that I feel like I'm still trying to learn every single day. The loss of the potatoes and the money that those potatoes represented was a temporary and temporal setback. But the joy in feeding thousands or helping one soul come home to the Savior's fold, that's an eternal and everlasting joy, nothing temporal about it. And that kind of perspective is exactly what Elder Holland was talking about when he gave his beautiful 2012 General Conference address titled: "The First Great Commandment." There isn't time here to recount the entire address, we'll put it in our show notes, you really need to go and reread it. It's so good, and so important. But Elder Holland shares the story of the resurrected Savior coming to His apostles who have turned back to the work they did before they were first called to leave their nets and follow Him. And after showing them his power to feed the world, physically, by filling their empty fishing nets, He implores Peter three times, "Do you love me?" And when Peter answers have after each question with "Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee." The Savior responds with these words, "Feed my lambs. Feed my sheep. Feed my sheep." Elder Holland goes on to say, quote, "I am not certain just what our experience will be on judgement day, but I will be very surprised if at some point in that conversation, God does not ask us exactly what Christ asked Peter, 'Did you love me?' I think he will want to know if in our very mortal, very inadequate and sometimes childish grasp of things. Did we at least understand one commandment, the first and greatest commandment of them all? Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength and with all thy mind. And if at such a moment, we can stammer out, 'Yeah, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee,' then He may remind us that the crowning characteristic of love is always loyalty. 'If ye love me, keep my commandments, 'Jesus said. So, we have neighbors to bless. Children to protect. The poor to lift up, the truth to defend. We have wrongs to make right and truth to share and good to do. In short, we have a life of devoted discipleship to give in demonstrating our love of the Lord. We can't quit and we can't go back. After an encounter with the living Son of the living God, nothing is ever again to be as it was before." End quote. When I think of Ryan's story, I think of this kind of love. This kind of loyalty. The kind of love that started with a pile of potatoes in an attempt to feed a hungry world. The kind of love that presented a willing heart that some may have seen as naive, ready to engage with someone very different from himself and his circumstances. And finally, the kind of love that knows that the true soul food of this sometimes treacherous, and confusing earth life, the real sustenance for those of us who hunger and thirst looks a lot less like potatoes, and much more like the making and keeping of sacred covenant as disciples of Jesus Christ. So this week, my friends, regardless of what your test results say, or a relentless year flings at you, I pray with all of my heart that we will seek to be filled with that kind of love. And as Elder Holland invites us to do, that we'll move forward, ever forward, to show that love by feeding His sheep. But do thy worst to steal thyself away, For term of life thou art assured mine, And life no longer than thy love will stay, For it depends upon that love of thine. Then need I not to fear the worst of wrongs, When in the least of them my life hath end; I see a better state to me belongs Than that which on thy humor doth depend. Thou canst not vex me with inconstant mind, Since that my life on thy revolt doth lie; O, what a happy title do I find, Happy to have thy love, happy to die!     But what's so blessed-fair that fears no blot?     Thou mayst be false, and yet I know it not.

For more on the Darby Bible Translation see our podcast about it on episode 20. Romans 9: I say the truth in Christ, I lie not, my conscience bearing witness with me in the Holy Spirit, that I have great grief and uninterrupted pain in my heart, for I have wished, I myself, to be a curse from the Christ for my brethren, my kinsmen, according to flesh; who are Israelites; whose is the adoption, and the glory, and the covenants, and the law-giving, and the service, and the promises; whose are the fathers; and of whom, as according to flesh, is the Christ, who is over all, God blessed for ever. Amen. Not however as though the word of God had failed; for not all are Israel which are of Israel; nor because they are seed of Abraham are all children: but, In Isaac shall a seed be called to thee. That is, they that are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God; but the children of the promise are reckoned as seed. For this word is of promise, According to this time I will come, and there shall be a son to Sarah. And not only that , but Rebecca having conceived by one, Isaac our father, the children indeed being not yet born, or having done anything good or worthless (that the purpose of God according to election might abide, not of works, but of him that calls), it was said to her, The greater shall serve the less: according as it is written, I have loved Jacob, and I have hated Esau. What shall we say then? Is there unrighteousness with God? Far be the thought. For he says to Moses, I will shew mercy to whom I will shew mercy, and I will feel compassion for whom I will feel compassion. So then it is not of him that wills, nor of him that runs, but of God that shews mercy. For the scripture says to Pharaoh, For this very thing I have raised thee up from amongst men , that I might thus shew in thee my power, and so that my name should be declared in all the earth. So then, to whom he will he shews mercy, and whom he will he hardens. Thou wilt say to me then, Why does he yet find fault? for who resists his purpose? Aye, but thou, O man, who art *thou* that answerest again to God? Shall the thing formed say to him that has formed it, Why hast thou made me thus? Or has not the potter authority over the clay, out of the same lump to make one vessel to honour, and another to dishonour? And if God, minded to shew his wrath and to make his power known, endured with much long-suffering vessels of wrath fitted for destruction; and that he might make known the riches of his glory upon vessels of mercy, which he had before prepared for glory, us, whom he has also called, not only from amongst the Jews, but also from amongst the nations? As he says also in Hosea, I will call not-my-people My people; and the-not-beloved Beloved. And it shall be, in the place where it was said to them, *Ye* are not my people, there shall they be called Sons of the living God. But Esaias cries concerning Israel, Should the number of the children of Israel be as the sand of the sea, the remnant shall be saved: for he is bringing the matter to an end, and cutting it short in righteousness; because a cutting short of the matter will the Lord accomplish upon the earth. And according as Esaias said before, Unless the Lord of hosts had left us a seed, we had been as Sodom, and made like even as Gomorrha. What then shall we say? That they of the nations, who did not follow after righteousness, have attained righteousness, but the righteousness that is on the principle of faith. But Israel, pursuing after a law of righteousness, has not attained to that law. Wherefore? Because it was not on the principle of faith, but as of works. They have stumbled at the stumblingstone, according as it is written, Behold, I place in Zion a stone of stumbling and rock of offence: and he that believes on him shall not be ashamed.

Advancing Thru Adversity #0  Know It – Who I Am By Louie Marsh, 11-15-2020   A college student was unhappy that he had to take a course in ornithology, which is a study of birds. This class had the reputation of being the most difficult class in the whole curriculum. And the professor was an extremely difficult professor. Everybody feared him. But it was a required course. As the course began, the professor announced there would be a test in 40 days & it would compose a large portion of the grade. Everybody studied. They took copious notes. They made sure they understood everything the professor said.  On the 40th day the students filed into the lecture hall extremely nervous. On the stage was a table with 5 cages on it. Each cage had a cover & beneath the cover they could see the feet & spindly legs of a bird.  At the sound of the bell, the professor addressed the students, “Here’s the test. You can see there are 5 birds & they’re all covered except for their feet & legs. You must tell me the identity of each of those 5 birds by looking only at their feet & legs.” Everyone had studied long & hard, but no one had anticipated such a test. And they were all sweating, trying to remember something, anything, that could help them pass the test.  Finally, one student stood up & said, “This is ridiculous. This is the craziest test I have every seen, & you’re the worst professor in this whole school.” He said, “I quit. I‘m out of here. I’m not going to take this test.” And he turned & walked toward the door. “Just a minute young man.” said the professor. “Who are you? I demand your name right now.” The young man stopped, took a long look at the professor & then pulling up both of his pant legs said, “You tell me."   1) START with a big question: WHO AM I?   "You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled by men. "You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven. Matthew 5:13-16 (NIV)   SHOW BONHOEFFER PICTURE & POEM   Who Am I? by Dietrich Bonhoeffer   Who am I? They often tell me I stepped from my cell’s confinement Calmly, cheerfully, firmly, Like a squire from his country-house. Who am I? They often tell me I used to speak to my warders Freely and friendly and clearly, As though it were mine to command. Who am I? They also tell me I bore the days of misfortune Equally, smilingly, proudly, Like one accustomed to win.   Am I then really all that which other men tell of? Or am I only what I myself know of myself? Restless and longing and sick, like a bird in a cage, Struggling for breath, as though hands were compressing my throat, Yearning for colors, for flowers, for the voices of birds, Thirsting for words of kindness, for neighborliness, Tossing in expectation of great events, Powerlessly trembling for friends at an infinite distance, Weary and empty at praying, at thinking, at making, Faint, and ready to say farewell to it all?   Who am I? This or the other? Am I one person today and tomorrow another? Am I both at once? A hypocrite before others, And before myself a contemptibly woebegone weakling? Or is something within me still like a beaten army, Fleeing in disorder from victory already achieved? Who am I? They mock me, these lonely questions of mine. Whoever I am, Thou knowest, 0 God, I am Thine!   Bablyon 5 – Vorlons & Shadows – The Shadows always asked, “What do you want?”  Vorlon’s always asked, “Who are you?”   2) UNDERSTAND what Jesus said.   “You – you alone are the salt of the earth…” Matt. 5:13 (RCH Lenski translation)   ONLY BELIEVERS are Salt & Light   I AM Salt & Light!   Not SHOULD, COULD, OUGHT   SHOW YODA PIC/QUOTE Do, or do not. There is no 'try.'  - Yoda (Fictional Star Wars Thing/Dude   Salt changes the nature of what it’s applied too. Light changes how we perceive reality.     3) CHOOSE to believe Jesus.   But if you don't want to serve the Lord, then choose today whom you will serve. Even if you choose the gods your ancestors served on the other side of the Euphrates or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you live, my family and I will still serve the Lord.” Joshua 24:15 (GW)   Salt is good, but if the salt has lost its saltiness, how will you make it salty again? Have salt in yourselves, and be at peace with one another." Mark 9:50 (ESV)   4) REFUSE to be discouraged.   7  But we have this treasure in jars of clay, to show that the surpassing power belongs to God and not to us. 8  We are afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not driven to despair; 9  persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed; 2 Corinthians 4:7-9 (ESV)   Throughout Western history, Christianity has endured seasons when our faith should have been forever defeated, if not obliterated. The church of Jesus Christ should have had a funeral with the fall of the Roman Empire, the spread of Islamic armies, the Enlightenment, political upheaval in Europe, or the philosophical attacks led by Marx, Darwin, Hume, Nietzsche, and Freud. But God brings dead things to life, and at the heart of our faith is belief in resurrection. InRead more at location 2979   Top of Form Bottom of Form The truth is, the world we live in today is a lot like the first-century context in which Christianity flourished. The Romans worshiped their nation and political leader; Pontius Pilate asked, “What is truth?”[234]; Paul encountered an “unknown god”[235]; the Greeks were openly pro-gay; the Ephesians were converted from witchcraft and demonic spirituality; and the Corinthian Christians needed to stop their cross-dressing and cancel their memberships at the pagan temples. But the gospel—the same gospel that’s alive and well today—transformed lives and spread despite all the conflict.   16  So we do not lose heart. Though our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day. 17  For this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison, 18  as we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal. 2 Corinthians 4:16-18 (ESV)   In order to do ministry in the odd world of intolerant tolerance, Bible-believing Christians will need to toughen up and turn the other cheek—rather than crumple in a heap—when slapped with words like hateful, bigoted, intolerant, shameful, cruel, unloving, homophobic, prejudiced, discriminatory, and more. Jesus told us to love our enemies; his assumption was that we would have enemies to love. Top of Form   The tolerant god is curiously tolerant of everyone and everything except the real God—because the tolerant god is the same serpent who appeared in the Garden so long ago   5) PROVE I believe it.   14  My brothers and sisters, what good does it do if someone claims to have faith but doesn't do any good things? Can this kind of faith save him? 15  Suppose a believer, whether a man or a woman, needs clothes or food 16  and one of you tells that person, “God be with you! Stay warm, and make sure you eat enough.” If you don't provide for that person's physical needs, what good does it do? 17  In the same way, faith by itself is dead if it doesn't cause you to do any good things. 18  Another person might say, “You have faith, but I do good things.” Show me your faith apart from the good things you do. I will show you my faith by the good things I do. 19  You believe that there is one God. That's fine! The demons also believe that, and they tremble with fear. James 2:14-19 (GW)

The Church which is His Body – Son of Man “Matthew 16:13-18 When Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, Whom do men say that I the Son of man am? 14 And they said, Some say that thou art John the Baptist: some, Elias; and others, Jeremias, or one of the prophets. 15 He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am? 16 And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God. 17 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven. 18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.”  Jesus wasn’t just any Son of Man.  He was the Son of Man the scriptures declared.  To understand this, we must go back to the Old Testament and read.  For example, Daniel declares the Son of Man coming to the Ancient of Days and receiving of the Kingdom of God.  This is one of the obvious examples of the Son of Man.  However, if we search there may be many instances referencing the Son of Man.   In Isiah 7, the Bible declares that a virgin was going to bring forth a Son.  Here we go, Son of Man.  Jesus was the Son of Man that Isaiah 7 is declaring.  This is a sign to the land of Judah.  Go back and read closely what Isaiah declares of this child who is born, and what is coming upon Judah.  Jesus is the fulfillment of the Son of Man and the Son of God according to the scriptures.  Glory to God.

For more on the Darby Bible Translation see our podcast about it on episode 20. Romans 7: Are ye ignorant, brethren, (for I speak to those knowing law,) that law rules over a man as long as he lives? For the married woman is bound by law to her husband so long as he is alive; but if the husband should die, she is clear from the law of the husband: so then, the husband being alive, she shall be called an adulteress if she be to another man; but if the husband should die, she is free from the law, so as not to be an adulteress, though she be to another man. So that, my brethren, *ye* also have been made dead to the law by the body of the Christ, to be to another, who has been raised up from among the dead, in order that we might bear fruit to God. For when we were in the flesh the passions of sins, which were by the law, wrought in our members to bring forth fruit to death; but now we are clear from the law, having died in that in which we were held, so that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in oldness of letter. What shall we say then? is the law sin? Far be the thought. But I had not known sin, unless by law: for I had not had conscience also of lust unless the law had said, Thou shalt not lust; but sin, getting a point of attack by the commandment, wrought in me every lust; for without law sin was dead. But *I* was alive without law once; but the commandment having come, sin revived, but *I* died. And the commandment, which was for life, was found, as to me, itself to be unto death: for sin, getting a point of attack by the commandment, deceived me, and by it slew me . So that the law indeed is holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good. Did then that which is good become death to me? Far be the thought. But sin, that it might appear sin, working death to me by that which is good; in order that sin by the commandment might become exceeding sinful. For we know that the law is spiritual: but *I* am fleshly, sold under sin. For that which I do, I do not own: for not what I will, this I do; but what I hate, this I practise. But if what I do not will, this I practise, I consent to the law that it is right. Now then it is no longer *I* that do it, but the sin that dwells in me. For I know that in me, that is, in my flesh, good does not dwell: for to will is there with me, but to do right I find not. For I do not practise the good that I will; but the evil I do not will, that I do. But if what *I* do not will, this I practise, it is no longer *I* that do it, but the sin that dwells in me. I find then the law upon *me* who will to practise what is right, that with *me* evil is there. For I delight in the law of God according to the inward man: but I see another law in my members, warring in opposition to the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which exists in my members. O wretched man that I am ! who shall deliver me out of this body of death? I thank God, through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then *I* *myself* with the mind serve God's law; but with the flesh sin's law.

If you were to take a survey among Christian people you would find that most of them believe in the Ten Commandments. After all, the Ten Commandments are the basis of all morality and the basis for the worship of God. Why is it, then, that the vast majority of Christian people outright ignore one of those Commandments? No I don’t mean Thou shalt not commit adultery. Christian people sin, but they know adultery is wrong. It is not so much that they’re ignoring the commandment, they are simply breaking it, and in many cases they will repent later of breaking it. I am talking about a commandment that is ignored altogether—that is violated without even a sense of guilt. Now, which commandment might that be? You’ll find the Ten Commandments in the 20th chapter of Exodus and you’ll find this commandment beginning in verse eight: Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days you shall labor, and do all your work. But the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord your God. In it you shall not do any work, you, your son, nor your daughter, your manservant, nor your maidservant, nor your cattle, nor your stranger that is within your gates. For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, and the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day, wherefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day, and hallowed it. Exodus 20:8–11 Now I don’t know what could be clearer than this. Work six days and rest one. The odd thing is, there was a time when many, if not most, Christian people honored the Sabbath day on Sunday. Sunday was a Christian Sabbath and Saturday was the Jewish Sabbath, but never mind that difference for the moment. Just consider the thing in principle. Why did the Christian church forsake even nominal observance of the Sabbath Day? Because they did. You can see the progression clearly in modern history—it’s inescapable.

This week Dan takes from England to Malaysia, such a fun show! To kick off the show, Dan shares an old but interesting tale from Raynham Hall. Did a pair of photographers catch The Brown Lady (it's a reference to her dress!) ascending the stairs? Can it really be proven? What happens when its been centuries of people seeing a ghost; does it make it more possible. Lynze really buys into the idea that this ghost is real. From there, we pop over to Malaysia to learn the folkloric tale of the penanggalan- a bodyless woman whose insides trail behind her as she attacks her victims. Is she real? Listen as two very logical people have a strange and frightening encounter with what they believe to be a penanggalan. In the back half of the show, Lynze has one heck of a creepy story about something haunting a child. While the story has a slow start make sure you stay tuned for the MAJOR plot twist! After that, let's head over to the forests of Michigan. (This is where all people from Ohio groan. Not the "M" word...) What would you do if you saw an old man in the woods? Would you offer him help or would you GTFO? ALSO! In honor of Veteran’s Day we are making a Bad Magic Productions donation of $10,000 to https://veteransfoodpantry.org/ this month. When you were a kid, did anyone ever make fun of your name? Chances are pretty good they did. Sometimes it was funny. Sometimes it hurt. Of course, it hurts to be made fun of if your nose is too big, your ears look like someone left the doors open on a Chevy pickup. But there is something about your name that makes it a special target. Your name is who you are. And after you have lived on this earth for a while, your name is you. When someone uses your name, you and you alone are the sum total what they are talking about. You are the meaning of your name. So when God says, “Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.” Perhaps we should take it seriously. God’s name is not a playground joke. I hadn’t noticed until Dr. Laura Schlesinger pointed it out in her book on the Ten Commandments, but of all the Ten Commandments, giving God a bad name is the only one with a threat of immediate punishment. I expect to the poor trembling Israelites at the foot of Mt. Sinai, the words of the third commandment went deep: “Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.” But what does that mean?

Now Jesus was THE CHIRST for a purpose.  Christ means the anointed one.  If I search the scriptures, I will find in the Old Covenant that they were anointed for purpose.  The Priest was anointed to offer the offerings unto the LORD.  They did not just offer them.  Moses didn’t simply say to Aaron you are a Priest.  Aaron was anointed with an extremely specific oil to operate in the Priests office, Leviticus 8:12.  This symbolized the anointing of Jesus Christ by the Holy Spirit.  He was anointed for the purpose of offering Himself unto God by the Spirit. Jesus is our Great High Priest.  As the Priest of God, He was anointed to offer Himself.  He is the Anointed of God, The Christ.  As our High Priest, He offered Himself.  Therefore, He is highly exalted and given a name above every name.  He was also anointed King.  Jesus is the King Priest, and He reigns over death and hell.  He conquered them, and He redeemed us to Himself.  We live in His dominion.  Glory to God!

So, if suddenly you realized that you could not vote for your candidate, would you then vote for "the big guy"? That is, would you vote for the other guy? If something like this had happened the day before the election in 2016 or 2012 or 200, would yo have voted for Obama/Biden? Or Hilllary Clinton? Or Bill Clinton? Or... or... or...? So what of the 12th and 13 commandments? Thou shalt not not vote. And thou shalt not throw away your vote! Thy neighbor has no chance of winning. Thus vote for thy other neighbor! (Of course the 11th commandment, which nullified the first ten, was issued by Ronald Reagan.) * Crucial Abortion Links: - kgov.com/abortion - kgov.com/focus-on-the-strategy - AmericanRTL.org/abortion-regulations Today's Video Resource: Get out of the Matrix Bob takes on a college professor and her philosophy class in a debate regarding absolutes. Who wins? The students have been taught that nothing is absolutely right or wrong, so Bob asks them if that is absolutely right. And they’ve been taught that they can only know that which their five senses have told them, so Bob asks them which of their five senses told them that. Is the lack of intellectualism in this college class representative of American higher education? You can decide as you view this video, one of Bob's most extraordinary presentations.
