The Bill Kelly Show Podcast: The House of Commons has unanimously voted for a parliamentary committee to look into allegations that the Chinese government waged an intimidation campaign against Conservative M-P Michael Chong. The moves comes after both China and Canada have expelled diplomats following a newly surfaced 2021 report by Canada's spy agency, which alleged that a Toronto consular officer sought to intimidate Chong and his relatives in Hong Kong. The Liberals have warned that their decision to expel a diplomat could mean Beijing inflicts economic pain, but University of Ottawa China expert Margaret McCuaig-Johnston says the country seems to be instead warning of further measures if Canada goes beyond its decision to send home diplomat Zhao Wei. GUEST: Eugene Lang, Assistant Professor with the School of Policy Studies at Queen's University - Canada was left out of the trilateral defence and security pact known as AUKUS — and a new report by a respected American think-tank says Ottawa must overcome its apparent indifference to the deal or risk being left behind by its allies. GUEST: Thomas Hughes, Post-Doctoral Fellow at the Canadian Defence and Security Network - An internal analysis of dozens of Canada's most prominent national sports organizations shows the federal government failed to recognize serious governance problems now plaguing several of them. Sport Canada, the federal department that funds these organizations, gave top marks to several that are now under fire for serious problems, including allegations of abuse, sexual assault and financial malfeasance. Professor Sarah Edwards and Professor Phyllis Illari discuss their contributions the STS's impact in philosophy of science and medicine. They were lead contributors to two top-rated “impact cases” in UCL's 2021 entry to the REF assessment, the UK's research excellence framework. That's a national review of university research productivity. Sarah's project involves policy-making about emerging diseases. Phyllis's project involves policy-making when evidence in conflicting and incomplete. Simply put, “impact” is a measure of how much a influence an academic university research project has had on non-academic communities, such as business, media, schools, and medicine.   Summary of Professor Edwards's project Edwards' research informed the World Health Organisation's (WHO) Ethics Guidance and a Training Manual for clinical research during epidemics of emerging and re-emerging infectious diseases, for which no effective treatments or vaccines are known. The ethics guidance applied to 4955 studies undertaken into WHO's priority infectious diseases and pathogens with over 88 million participants globally. Edwards' research has benefited individuals participating in clinical research by promoting wider access to new and repurposed medicines and by protecting the rights and interests of current patients. Edwards initiated the development of an Afrocentric ethics framework for clinical research during epidemics across Africa and supervised a project for the African Union Centres for Disease Control (Africa CDC), involving wide consultation, engagement, and training. Her expertise has been consulted over clinical research for COVID-19 by organisations such as WHO, Africa CDC, and the US FDA which issued new guidelines leading to >370 early approvals of medicines and medical products with surveillance for research.   Full impact case study https://results2021.ref.ac.uk/impact/999f7328-c0ea-441f-8808-bee2281a2c27?page=1   Summary of Professor Illari's project Public bodies, such as health boards or government departments, must reliably interpret evidence to properly inform their decision-making. Illari and Clarke's work explores the diverse types of evidence obtained from biological and social mechanisms and systems, and how these are used for multiple purposes. This has impacted on 1) international methodologies for evidence assessment in health by increasing the plurality of evidence they use, particularly evidence of mechanisms (NICE, IARC), and on 2) UK ethical frameworks for AI and data science by improving their evidence use, particularly their attention to anticipating and monitoring how systems including populations react to new ethics frameworks (Cabinet Office, DCMS, West Midlands Police, the NHS). The beneficiaries are patients who need high quality medical advice both in England and Wales and internationally, and all people in the UK affected by government and NHS data projects such as the UK Cabinet Office Framework for Data Ethics and the NHS Code of conduct for data-driven health and care technology.   Full impact case study https://results2021.ref.ac.uk/impact/716079e1-ae40-478d-a477-ba7ef89b5383?page=1   More about REF REF is a complex administrative process. It's a totally free marketplace that simplifies the buying and selling process, and help you learn about EVs along the way too. Welcome to a new PATREON EXECUTIVE PRODUCER JONATHAN HARMOR TESLA MODEL 3, KIA NIRO EV RECEIVE HIGHEST MARKS IN LATEST JD POWER EV STUDY One of JD Power's newest studies, the Electric Vehicle Experience study, is back for its second year, and according to the 2022 results published on Thursday, a couple things haven't changed since 2021. Once again, the top-rated electric cars are the Tesla Model 3 for the premium electric vehicle segment, and the Kia Niro EV for the mass market contenders. based on a 1,000-point scale, is measured by 10 factors, including range, access to charging stations, at-home charging and cost of ownership. Acing many of the categories is the Model 3, which scored 777 points. The Model Y comes in second place Moving into the mass-market side of things, the Kia Niro EV ranks highest with 744 points, The study doesn't just look at the cars individually. It takes the temperature of EV newbies and EV "veterans," those who've owned a battery-powered car for a longer period of time https://www.cnet.com/roadshow/news/tesla-model-3-kia-niro-ev-jd-power-ev-study/ First-time owners of electric vehicles were reluctant to switch back to gasoline-fueled cars even as concerns continued to loom about the availability of charging infrastructure, a report from JD Power showed on Thursday. The 2022 US Electric Vehicle Experience (EVX) ownership study showed that satisfaction among owners who are new to BEVs averaged 754 (on a 1,000-point scale), which is comparable to 766 among BEV veterans (those who have owned a BEV prior to their current one). https://gadgets.ndtv.com/transportation/news/electric-vehicle-ev-car-first-time-owner-traditional-gasoline-fuel-car-jd-power-2734490 PORSCHE TAYCAN DEMOLISHES KIA'S EV CHARGING RECORD A Porsche Taycan drove from Los Angeles to New York City in record time — at least in terms of charging the EV. On Friday, the German carmaker announced it broke the Guinness World Record for shortest charging time to drive across the U.S. in its $87,030 battery-powered car: 2 hours, 26 minutes, and 48 seconds. Last year, Kia set the record (and grabbed it from Tesla) with a 7 hour, 10 minute, and 1 second charging time while making the 2,834-mile journey in its soon-to-be-released EV6. Now the title belongs to the Taycan, Porsche's first EV, which used Electrify America's ultra-fast chargers across the U.S. on the cross-country trek. https://mashable.com/article/porsche-taycan-ev-charging-record STOREDOT CLAIMS EV BATTERY LIFE BREAKTHROUGH Fast battery charging  battery specialist StoreDot has unveiled technology that it claims will enable a dramatic extension the lifespan of electric vehicle (EV) batteries. The Israeli firm, whose core  XFC battery technology is said to provide a 50 per cent reduction in charging time, claims that this latest innovation will extend the lifespan of EV batteries thereby reducing their environmental impact and enabling drivers to maintain performance of their vehicles for many more years without compromising on range. It claims that the technology enables batteries to maintain a robust performance after 1000 cycles and 80% capacity, the point at which rival lithium-ion fast charging technologies start to rapidly deteriorate in performance.  Indeed, even after 1700 cycles, long after the accepted industry norm, StoreDot's batteries are said to maintain 70% of the original capacity. This potentially makes them effective  for second life usage in applications such as energy storage and grid load balancing. https://www.theengineer.co.uk/storedot-claims-ev-battery-life-breakthrough/ CONNECTICUT LAUNCHES 'COMPREHENSIVE' AND 'COMPLEX' CHARGING PROGRAM Connecticut utilities kicked off 2022 with the launch of a new electric vehicle (EV) program designed to spur the deployment of more than 60,000 charging ports by 2030, along with rates and demand response solutions to help manage the growing load. The Connecticut Public Utilities Regulatory Authority (PURA) approved the nine-year program in July, clearing the way for Eversource and United Illuminating (UI) to offer $500 off the cost of a networked residential charger along with incentives for fast charging, fleets, multifamily buildings and other EV market segments. Connecticut finished 2021 with 21,382 EVs registered in the state, according to the group's web site, representing an almost 55% year-over-year increase. The state's long-term transportation strategy calls for 500,000 EVs on the road by 2030. The new charging incentive program is targeting 50,000 residential installations by 2030, almost 5,000 "destination" chargers at locations like stores and shopping malls, more than 7,000 in workplaces and serving light-duty fleets, and 550 direct current fast chargers. Baseline incentives for DCFC are $150,000, rising to $250,000 in underserved communities. https://www.utilitydive.com/news/connecticut-launches-comprehensive-and-complex-charging-program-to-supp/617838/ NATIONAL MARKETING CAMPAIGN FOR HYUNDAI'S IONIQ 5 Hyundai is comparing its evolution to that of other human innovations in the new national marketing campaign for the all-electric IONIQ 5. The campaign's theme, "Your journey at its most evolved," comes to life in two new commercials starring Jason Bateman. The 60-second hero spot titled, "History of Evolution," finds Jason Bateman in different historical eras explaining how initial inventions got better over time. The ad showcases how the IONIQ 5 represents the advancement of the electric vehicle comparing it to the evolution of human language, navigation, phones, and televisions. "History of Evolution" will first air this Sunday during both of professional football's conference championship games. The second spot, "Campsite," is a 30-second ad that highlights IONIQ 5's vehicle-to-load function that can power equipment to make camping much more comfortable. https://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/national-marketing-campaign-for-hyundais-ioniq-5-illustrates-the-evolution-of-the-electric-vehicle-301470471.html OVER 10 PERCENT OF TESLA MODEL S EVS FAIL GERMANY'S STRICT INSPECTION AFTER 3 YEARS While Tesla has become one of the foremost players at the cutting edge of electric vehicle technologies, it has for a long time struggled to match traditional automakers in terms of industrial output and, crucially, quality. News from Germany brings the issue into clear focus, as Tesla's Model S has come out rather unfavorably versus its EV competition, as reported by Merkur.de. In Germany, rigorous automotive inspections are regularly carried out, first after the car has been in use for 3 years, and then every 2 years after that. The Smart Fortwo Electric Drive performed best of all, with only 3.5% showing any defects upon reporting for inspection. BMW's i3 was not far behind, clocking in with 4.7 percent having a notable defect. For comparison's sake, the average defect rate for all cars from 2-3 years old in Germany is 4.7 percent. However, other models weren't so lucky. 5.7% of Renault Zoes presented with defects in a below-average result. The worst by far, however, was the Tesla Model S. 10.7 percent of the model showed up for testing with a defect of some sort. https://www.thedrive.com/news/44068/over-10-percent-of-tesla-model-s-evs-fail-germanys-strict-inspection-after-3-years HENRIK FISKER TAKES ANOTHER SWING AT LUXURY CAR-BUILDING The Austrian manufacturer Magna Steyr is building the Ocean in front- and all-wheel-drive configurations. The base Ocean uses a 275-hp motor and offers a range of around 250 miles; all-wheel-drive Ultra and Extreme trims have two motors good for a combined 540 and 550 horsepower, respectively. Prices will start under $40,000. The Ocean is the closest to market, scheduled to begin deliveries in November. What's different with the Ocean? Let's say there are three fundamental things that I learned from the Karma. No, four. One, timing is everything. Number two, you've got to have enough money from the beginning to the end of the launch. I didn't want to really kick off this program until we had a billion dollars, which we raised last year. You can't build something start-stop. That kills you. So, number two, get all the money. Number three, you have to look at technology and assess the risk. Battery is the biggest risk in [electric] cars, so we spent a long time working closely on a deal with CATL [Contemporary Amperex Technology Co. Ltd., a lithium-ion battery manufacturer]. What's number four? The manufacturing of the vehicle—we need a solid manufacturing partner. https://www.caranddriver.com/features/a38870530/henrik-fisker-takes-another-swing-at-luxury-car-building/ LUCID AIR DREAM EDITIONS EMERGE ON EBAY: ALL PRICED OVER $200,000 The Lucid Air entered the market on October 30, 2021, but the initial Dream Edition of 520 cars (which equals the 520 miles/837 km of EPA range) have been fully booked for a long time. Last week, Israel's prime minister, Naftali Bennett, made his debut on the world stage at the United Nations General Assembly. Bennett has just passed the 100-day mark of his administration, after his coalition came together in June. How has Bennett's government fared in those hundred-odd days? Canada's former ambassador to Israel, Vivian Bercovici, would give the new team an A if she were writing their report card. Bercovici was a lawyer in Toronto when Stephen Harper appointed her as Canada's ambassador to Tel Aviv in 2014. She was let go just over two years later, after Justin Trudeau took office. (Her lawsuit against the Liberal government over her termination was settled earlier this year, but a non-disclosure agreement prevents her from speaking about it.) Despite losing that job, Bercovici remained in Israel, where she continues to work as a business consultant, public speaker and writer. She joins today to discuss her thoughts about Canada's relationship with Israel, the ongoing controversy over the U.S. funding the Iron Dome, how Israel has handled the pandemic and more. Agencies spent more than a quarter of their contracting dollars on small businesses last year. That earned the federal government an "A" on the small business scorecard. But the General Services Administration stands out as one of only eight agencies that received an A+, meeting all of its prime and subcontracting goals. For more on GSA's small business outreach, Federal News Network's Jory Heckman spoke with Exodie Roe, GSA's associate administrator for the Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization, on Federal Drive with Tom Temin.

The 12th version of the Federal IT Acquisition Reform Act (FITARA) scorecard offered few real surprises. Most agencies continue to earn “B” and “C” grades. What came from the most recent hearing however, is a call to possibly refocus the scorecard or break it apart into smaller and more specific accountability tasks. Federal News Network executive editor Jason Miller joined Federal Drive with Tom Temin to discuss what some lawmakers are thinking about it comes to the future of FITARA.

The draft is done and the grades are in. Will Brinson is joined by Ryan Wilson and John Breech to discuss marks for each team in the AFC. The guys start in the AFC East (2:45), where the Jets and Patriots both landed 1st-round quarterbacks, the Dolphins cashed in on 2 first-rounders and the Bills looked to bolster a squad that made the conference championship game last season. We progress to the AFC North (23:00), where Breech's Bengals landed a kicker, Wilson's Steelers' secured a 1st-round running back, the Ravens added help for Lamar Jackson and the Browns kept building one of the best rosters in the league. The AFC South collectively were issued the worst grades (42:00), minus the Jaguars, who picked a generational talent, Trevor Lawrence. The Titans, Texans and Colts could have done better. And the AFC West is secretly, or maybe not-so-secretly, shaping up to be one of the best divisions in football (58:30). The Broncos, Chiefs and Chargers are fared well in the draft, but the Raiders fell behind, per usual.  'Pick Six' is available on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Stitcher, Google Podcasts, Castbox and wherever else you listen to podcasts.  You can listen to Pick Six on your smart speakers! Show #763   Good morning, good afternoon and good evening wherever you are in the world, welcome to EV News Daily for Wednesday 29thApril 2020. It’s Martyn Lee here and I go through every EV story so you don't have to.   Thank you to MYEV.com for helping make this show, they’ve built the first marketplace specifically for Electric Vehicles. It’s a totally free marketplace that simplifies the buying and selling process, and help you learn about EVs along the way too.                 VOLKSWAGEN ID.4 ELECTRIC CROSSOVER SPIED IN 'COUPE' FORM Autoblog  says: "a fan of one of our spy photographers happened upon an ID.4 prototype and shared them with said photographer and us. It shows that the crossover will be getting a low-roof "coupe" variant. It was thinly disguised, too, with the most elaborate camouflage being some amusingly fake tail pipes."The crossover has a similar size and proportion to the ID.4 prototypes we've seen at shows and in testing. It shares the same curvy bodywork, too. But the roof slopes downward from about the back of the rear doors all the way to the tail to give it the fastback roof that has proven so popular among luxury crossover buyers. It looks like rear headroom may not be particularly reduced compared to some other fastback crossovers, but luggage space certainly will. This example also features a natty little wing at the tip of the hatch for some more sporty flair. The standard ID.4 is expected to have an 83-kWh battery pack good for about 250 miles of range, too. "   GTX is supposedly the electric GTI, and 4 wheel drive.   https://www.autoblog.com/2020/04/29/vw-id4-coupe-ev-gtx-spy-shots/#slide-2228895   OPEL VIVARO-E ARRIVES THIS YEAR "Opel unveiled more details about the new Vivaro-e that arrives later this year. It comes with a 100 kW motor and two battery options that offer a WLTP range of 230 and 330 km (142 and 205 miles). While there’s no official information about the battery cells, I assume these are the same that are used in the Peugeot e-208 and Opel Corsa-e." says Pedro at PushEVs: "The Opel Vivaro-e seems to be a great alternative to the veteran Nissan e-NV200, which only gets a WLTP range of 200 km (124 miles) from a 40 kWh battery. Since Carlos Ghosn left, Nissan really dropped the ball regarding electric vehicles."   From the press release:   For the “last mile” and beyond: up to 230 or 330 kilometres electric range (WLTP1) Powerful: 100 kW (136hp) electric motor with 260Nm torque Easy to use: variety of charging options, payment via “Free2Move Services” app Comfortable: check state-of-charge or programme charging times via “myOpel” app Unique: the only compact electric LCV available ex works with optional trailer hitch Safety for professionals: driver assistance systems enhance protection   https://pushevs.com/2020/04/28/opel-vivaro-e-arrives-this-year/   TESLA MODEL 3 WAS #2 BEST SELLING CAR IN EUROPE IN MARCH 2020 "Stats for the 27 European markets reveal a decrease in new passenger car registrations by 52% to 848,800 in March (and 3.04 million in Q1), which is the worst result in 38 years. In terms of the type of powertrain, electrified cars - xEVs (BEVs, PHEVs, HEVs) - expanded in March by 15% year-over-year to 147,500 and a record market share of 17.4% (compared to 7.3% a year ago). xEV expansion was possible only because of plug-ins, as hybrids actually went down by 11%. The Tesla Model 3 turned out to be the second best-selling car overall for the month of March 2020. That's the second podium for the Model 3 in Europe, after a third place in December 2019. This time, the volume was lower - above 15,000 compared to over 22,000, but as the overall market collapsed, it was possible for the Model 3 to beat all but the Volkswagen Golf."   https://insideevs.com/news/419117/tesla-model3-best-selling-europe-march-2020/   FORD FILES TRADEMARK FOR LINCOLN EGLIDE "We just received news from members on MachEClub.com, a Ford Mustang Mach-E forum, that the automaker filed a trademark application with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. More specifically, it's for the LINCOLN eGLIDE." says Mark at InsideEVs: "Initially, people called it the Lincoln eGlide EV, but there's nothing official that points to this being the case. However, we do know that both Ford and Lincoln are ramping up their electric vehicle efforts. Sadly, though, Lincoln was supposed to have an upcoming EV project in partnership with Rivian Automotive, but that has now been canceled due to COVID-19. Some speculate that eGlide could have something to do with a vehicle suspension, an operating mode, or a component. Could it be something like a Ludicrous Mode or Launch Mode? Will Lincoln bring the world's most coddling electric SUV to market?"   https://insideevs.com/news/419062/lincoln-eglide-patent-filed/   POLESTAR 2 RECEIVES TOP MARKS IN CRASH SAFETY TESTS "Polestar announced on April 28 that its newest car underwent crash safety tests.  It is the first vehicle in the company’s lineup to feature Acoustic Vehicle Alert System (AVAS) technology and front-inner-side airbags. Polestar prioritized the protection of its battery pack, noting the “crucial” task of preventing the vehicle’s power source from being punctured or damaged in a collision as well." says Teslarati: ". It also protects the battery from permanent damage. Polestar utilized a Severe Partial Offset Crash (SPOC) block to help accomplish this, which is a reflective solid aluminum barrier that his housed on the bottom edge of the vehicle’s front firewall. The SPOC block minimizes the possibility of objects coming into the passenger cabin or toward the battery pack in the event of a frontal collision. The presence of this barrier also makes up for the lack of an internal combustion engine, which usually adds a barrier for passengers in the event of a crash. Polestar announced on April 23 that the Polestar 2 was available for sale in the U.S. with a starting price of $59,900. Deliveries are expected to begin Summer 2020."   https://www.teslarati.com/polestar-2-top-marks-crash-safety/   SK INNOVATION TO SPEND $1.5B ON GEORGIA PLANTS, AS ‘CENTER’ OF WORLD EV BATTERY INDUSTRY "SK Innovation, a South Korean battery supplier for Volkswagen and Ford, said on Tuesday it will spend $727 million to build a second EV battery plant in the United States. Construction is expected to begin in July, with battery production slated to start in 2023." according to Bradley at electrek: "The company is currently building its first factory in the United States, in Georgia, with a planned investment of $903 million. That plant can output 9.8GWh factory, primarily to serve Volkswagen EV production in Chattanooga, Tennessee. A March article in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution said the first factory is expected to produce enough batteries to power 250,000 electric vehicles per year at full capacity. The proposed No.2 plant will be even bigger than the first one. Today’s report by Reuters said annual capacity for the second plant will be 11.7 gigawatt-hours of batteries. But the story last month in AJC reported a long term vision on a larger scale: The site can accommodate a facility to produce 50 gigawatt [hours] worth of batteries or five times the production of the project’s first two phases, a company official said."   https://electrek.co/2020/04/28/sk-innovation-to-spend-1-5b-on-georgia-plants-as-center-of-world-ev-battery-industry/   AUDI WITHDRAWS FROM DTM TO FOCUS ON FORMULA E "Audi will leave the German Touring Car series (DTM) at the end of this year and concentrate fully on Formula E. “With this energy, we’re going to drive our transformation into a provider of sporty, sustainable electric mobility forward,” says Markus Duesmann, Chairman of the Board at AUDI." reports electrive: "The DTM withdrawal is one of Duesmann’s first high-profile decisions the former BMW board joined the board on 1 April."   https://www.electrive.com/2020/04/28/audi-withdraws-from-dtm-to-focus-on-formula-e/   UK BLOWN AWAY AS HUGE NEW WIND FARM WILL SOON POWER 170,000 HOMES "A 50-turbine wind farm in southern Scotland will be up and running by 2023, sustainable energy firm Vattenfall confirmed this week." says EuroNews.com: "South Kyle Windfarm, near Dalmellington, is set to be the firm’s largest onshore wind farm in the United Kingdom. Once construction is complete, the turbines will be able to power approximately 170,000 UK homes, saving nearly 300,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions annually. That’s the equivalent of 65,000 cars being taken off the road. The deal agreed by Vattenfall and Greencoat UK Wind will cost £320 million. While this is a substantial amount, according to renewable UK, investments such as these pay off as “onshore wind offers the most cost-effective choice for new electricity in the UK, bar none - it is cheaper than gas, nuclear, coal and other renewables.”   Fully operational by 2023.   Check out the story here: https://www.euronews.com/living/2020/04/28/uk-blown-away-as-huge-new-wind-farm-will-soon-power-170-000-homes     QUESTION OF THE WEEK   What car have you driven in your lifetime you would love to be able to convert to EV?   I want to say a heartfelt thank you to the 233 patrons of this podcast whose generosity means I get to keep making this show, which aims to entertain and inform thousands of listeners every day about a brighter future. In honour of Raw's longest match ever and Seth Rollins setting the record for longest time ever spent in a match, the #goodfriends are back with their longest episode ever! Unless you count the 2017 Best Of as two parts of one episode. Which I guess technically they are, but I don't really think of them that way, you know? We touch on the rumours that WWE wants to sign Rob Gronkowski off the hop before settling into the usual three rounds discussing the top 3 stories in the world of professional wrestling. And this week they are: 1. The end of split-brand PPVs. WWE announces that after the road to WrestleMania, brand specific PPV events will be no more, with one five-hour show per month shared by Raw and SmackDown. But is this a good idea? We discuss. 2. The Gauntlet Match. Though we try not to be a weekly recap show, this week it's hard not be. Raw tried something radically different this week, with nearly two hours straight of nothing but in-ring action that had some fans wondering "What's the point?" We break down the highs and lows of the longest match in Raw history. 3. WWE Elimination Chamber preview. Of course that long match was to set the stage for Sunday's PPV. We look over the card, make our predictions and gage our hype levels. All that plus listener questions have us picking our dream Chamber math and making the case for why Asuka is important, and the triumphant return of Sunday Night Tweet! Just like Dolph Ziggler, this week the #goodfriends are back for one reason and it's to be the very best. We're back to the usual three rounds this week, though it's debatable as to whether they're the three biggest stories in wrestling. But those rounds are: 1) Dolph Ziggler is back. Is there a path to glory for a once beloved talent or is too little too late for a man whose time has past? Josh and Justin furiously debate. 2) NJPW New Beginning review. The third night has come and gone, and we check in on the big moments, big matches, and the general story direction in New Japan. 3) Defend Your Draft! We drafted rosters over the weekend that sparked some Twitter controversy. We defend our divisive picks and expand the rosters with five more rounds of picks. Does this change your vote as to who picked the better show? All that plus listener questions have us picking our favourite unheralded feuds and which matches one should seek out on NJPW World, the returns of Sunday Night Tweet and Keep It Or Kick It, and the formal announcement of the topic of Patreon bonus episode. And because we're strapped for time this week, the show only goes two rounds instead of the usual three, and those rounds are: 1. A Better 205 Live: Drew Gulak's been asking for it for months and it's finally happening. Only two weeks into its latest pivot 205 Live has already become must-watch wrestling television. And they are: 1. Royal Rumble Review! Finally a Rumble match that delivers what fans want from the classic match type. But how was the PPV overall? 2. NXT TakeOver Philadelphia Review! An absolute barn-burner main event, but did it lack the consistency of previous TakeOvers? How do these shows continue to bring the goods every time? 3. Ronda Rousey debuts in WWE!
