I used to wake up with shaky hands and need to eat immediately. I used to need to constantly snack or have something sweet after meals. When your body isn't efficient at burning fat for fuel, and then you lower carbs, you've essentially just lowered your only fuel source. In order to unlock access to more energy (that doesn't involve eating more carbs more frequently), you need to improve your ability to burn stored energy and body fat for fuel! Much of this involves lowering insulin levels so the body can produce an alternative fuel source: ketones!After learning to burn ketones, and then body fat, you will notice huge improvements in your energy levels and overall health. And then finally you can start to flex in and out of ketosis which is considered "metabolic flexibility".
