It programs our endocrine system, circadian rhythm, and nervous system. Excessive exposure to artificial light, particularly at night, has detrimental effects on hormonal balance and overall health. Chronic disruption of our natural circadian due to inadequate exposure to sunlight and excessive exposure to artificial light can lead to health issues, including disrupted sleep, increased inflammation, and metabolic imbalances. [11:30] Embracing Morning Light Step outside and experience natural morning light upon waking instead of turning to artificial sources. Morning light signals the start of the day to our internal clock. Natural light triggers the production of hormones that contribute to feelings of energy.
