Coaching for Leaders

Coaching for Leaders

Juliet Funt: A Minute to Think Juliet Funt is a renowned keynote speaker and tough-love advisor to the Fortune 500 who is regularly featured in top global media outlets, including Forbes and Fast Company. She is the founder and CEO of The Juliet Funt Group, helping business leaders and organizations to unleash their full potential by unburdening talent from busywork. She has earned one of the highest ratings in the largest leadership event in the world, and she has worked with brands such as Spotify, National Geographic, Costco, Pepsi, Nike, and many more. Her new book is titled, A Minute to Think: Reclaim Creativity, Conquer Busyness, and Do Your Best Work. In this conversation, Juliet and I explore the four assets that many leaders bring to the workplace — and when taken too far, how these assets become risks. Juliet shares four questions we can ask of ourselves (and perhaps of others) that will surface where to start with finding space. Plus, we discuss some of the practical steps leaders can take to influence a culture of margin with their teams. Key Points The science is showing what many of us have experienced intuitively: space itself helps us to explore and expand possibility. Key assets can, if overused, become risks. These risks manifest in four ways: overdrive, perfectionism, overload, and frenzy. Four questions are useful starting points for controlling risk: When the risk is overdrive, the question is: Is there anything I can let go of?  When the risk is perfectionism, the question is: Where is ‘good enough', good enough? When the risk is overload, the question is: What do I truly need to know? When the risk is frenzy, the question is: What deserves my attention? Chinese medicine is more than just treating health symptoms. It's bringing the body back into balance using lifestyle improvements, self-care and -respect practices, and nourishing our vitality. Brodie Welch joins me to talk about how she uses acupuncture, qi gong, and Chinese medicine to help high-achieving women start enjoying their lives again.   How to Break Free of the Yang Make time for joy Make time for rest Make time for proper nourishment Rest your mind and observe where you're coming from Live from a place of balanced ease and balanced action Treat yourself with the same kindness you would treat someone else   About Brodie Welch Brodie Welch is a Licensed Acupuncturist, board-certified herbalist, and self-care strategist. Brodie helps self-aware, high-achieving women break the cycle of stress, overwhelm, and self-sabotage so they can enjoy the lives they're working so hard to create, and truly embody self-respect.  Working at the confluence of wellness and personal development, she helps thousands of clients optimize their weight, digestion, hormones, sleep, mood, and vitality. A lifelong student of consciousness, Brodie has been practicing meditation, yoga, and qi gong for over twenty years and holds teaching certifications in each of these disciplines.  She synthesizes ancient techniques from Chinese Medicine, Ayurveda, and yoga with the latest research in neuroscience, functional medicine, and habit change to help her clients thrive. Her holistic self-care boot camp program “Level Up Your Life” helps women bridge the gap between what they know they should be doing to take care of themselves and actually doing it – without feeling guilty.  She's the founder of Life in Balance Acupuncture in Corvallis, Oregon, where she has been treating patients since 2003. She's also the creator and host of A Healthy Curiosity: the podcast that explores what it takes to be well in a busy world.   Prioritizing Yin Energy Brodie Welch explains how she uses Chinese medicine to help people of all ages reclaim their health and move in the direction of life and vitality. A big part of her work is helping her clients embrace the Yin side of their life as society obsesses over the Yang, more masculine, traits. As with everything on this planet, we, too, go through seasons and cycles. However, Western society encourages us to stay in our Yang energy, foregoing the season of winter. Brodie encourages you to embrace wintering: rest, rejuvenation, and rehabilitation. Brodie shares some of the ways to break free of our Yang addiction. By prioritizing rest, joy, and proper nourishment, we can start to reclaim the Ying in our life.   Find Balance with Chinese Medicine It's all about finding that balance - but since we're so far into the Yang, we need to be intentional about our self-care and self-respect practices. Brodie shares how she differentiates self-care and self-respect, and how respecting yourself and showing yourself the same attention and care you would someone else is the best form of self-care there is. Chinese medicine is not just living intentionally - though that is a big part of it. It's also practicing qi gong, acupuncture, meditation, and embracing herbal remedies. The very nature of Chinese medicine helps reduce stress levels and softens some of the more uncomfortable symptoms of menopause and peri-menopause. How can you find the Yin-Yang balance in your life? What Yin practices will you start incorporating? Call the Integrative Health and Hormone Clinic today and schedule your first appointment at 319-363-0033.   Quotes “There are all these different ways that we use to restore balance to the body. Chinese medicine, at its core, is really applied philosophy. You can make a choice every day to live in a more Yin way or a more Yang way.” [6:43] “Health isn't just the absence of disease. It's nourishing our vitality. It's living in accordance with who we really are. There's this consciousness dimension of things. We need to make sure that we are in alignment, that we are living in energy integrity and not dipping into our energy reserve.” [12:03] “In Chinese medicine, we can see things coming before they actually manifest. We can take someone's pulse and sense an imbalance before it shows up. We can look at the signs and symptoms that will affect an organ to see that if it's not addressed, it will get worse. The most potent force in life that we have to work with is what we do with our time. What we do each and every day makes so much more of a difference than what any practitioner of any stripe can do for you in an office.” [19:06] “I think qi gong is one of the most powerful self-healing practices people can ever learn. It's so accessible, whereas yoga can be really daunting to people. As we think about aging, ways of staying supple and flexible, reducing falls, improving bone density, and quality of life. There are so many studies on qi gong as being super effective in helping people maintain their health throughout their lives.” [33:29]   In This Episode What Chinese medicine is [4:00] Why we need to recognize and participate in the season or wintering [8:45] Why it's difficult to opt-out of the Yang culture that permeates Western culture [15:00] What practices to adopt to break free of Yang addiction [16:15] The link between self-care and self-respect [18:15] How Chinese medicine treats stress [22:15] How to move your life in the direction of life rather than imbalance [28:00] What acupuncture is and how it impacts your health and body [29:00]   Links & Resources Use Code CALM for 10% Off Adrenal Calm Download the Calm & Centered Bundle Download the Manifesto Brodie's Signature Program, Level Up Your Life Listen to A Healthy Curiosity On Facebook On Apple Podcasts Find Brodie Welch Online Follow Brodie Welch on Instagram | Facebook | Twitter Find Your Longevity Blueprint Online Follow Your Longevity Blueprint on Instagram | Facebook | Twitter | YouTube | LinkedIn Get your copy of the Your Longevity Blueprint book and claim your bonuses here Find Dr. Stephanie Gray and Your Longevity Blueprint online    Follow Dr. Stephanie Gray on Facebook | Instagram | Youtube | Twitter | LinkedIn Integrative Health and Hormone Clinic Podcast Production by the team at Counterweight Creative    Related Episodes  Episode 53: Keto Green Approach To Hormones With Dr. Anna Cabeca Episode 51: Brilliant Menopause Secrets With Dr. Kyrin Dunston Episode 57: 5 Keys To Raising Healthy Kids With Dr. Brian Stenzler

Meet Shaunti Feldhahn. A well-known ground-breaking social researcher, best-selling author and popular speaker, Shaunti is a Harvard graduate and former Wall Street analyst who lives in Atlanta with her husband, Jeff, their daughter, son, and two cats who think they are dogs.   She has authored devotionals and Bible studies for iDisciple Publishing — her “Find Series” of includes Find Rest, Find Balance, Find Peace, and Find Joy. They guide women to discover the path that will take them from stressed-out to peace when they lean into God's truths and begin to live the life designed just for them.   “Living in a fallen world is going to come with some stress, but the whole point is He wants us to navigate that, so we don't have a life of stress and that we have that sense of joy no matter what,” Shaunti says. “[The books] are not just about reading something and going, ‘Oh, that's nice.' It's about ‘How do I apply that every day to my life?' ”   Shaunti's books delve deep into relationships — the best-selling For Women Only, followed by For Men Only (co-authored with Jeff) and her most recent work, Thriving in Love & Money – the money book that has little to do with money. These rigorously researched books help couples finally “get” what has been so often misunderstood about each other and what the roots of stress in their relationships might be.    The books have been sources of insight while much of the country — and, indeed, the world — has been under stress with COVID-19. On a personal note, Shaunti has dealt with that and then some. She not only battled COVID-19, but stage 1 breast cancer and a withering attack from a Christian sister on the teachings in her books concerning sex.   She has resisted a public back-and-forth battle, citing Scriptural teachings and the common-sense that says, “You can't heal hurt with further hurt.” Instead, Shaunti aims to help because that's the essence of a Good Samaritan — one who goes out of their way to help.

Who else has needed or is in need of a post-lockdown reboot or reset? I know I did! After more than a year of my schedule and home life shifting and shifting again -  Kids in school, kids being homeschooled, kids off school entirely (you know what it's been like, you don't need me to tell you!)  I realised that so many of the habits and practises that had previously served me so well had somewhere along the way just evaporated. It wasn't until I was feeling like we had too much going on in my business that I even realised. And it was like a domino effect of realisation.  Like “oh, I've stopped doing this… oh and this… and wait, this too”.  I kind of felt like a brand new baby entrepreneur again or like I'd somehow been returned to my factory settings lol. Here's what I always find to be true: what is true for one is true for many.  So I'm suspecting that you might need a reset too. Let's talk about life after lockdown today.  Let's talk about giving ourselves permission to not have just made a smooth and slick transition back into life and biz and our old habits as soon as restrictions have started to lift. This week’s conversation is with Kelly Page who helps women over forty drop weight, increase their energy and find balance!  Her website www.tastingpage.com is where she makes available resources for you to dive into opportunities to connect with not only herself but her community Kelly shares with the listeners her journey from corporate America to Tasting page!  During her time climbing the corporate ladder she was doing everything she could to stop on top and stay healthy!  Working towards eating the right things but asking why she didn’t ever feel good. She just assumed that everyone was stressed out like herself!  She continued to ignore these feelings and went on climbing the corporate ladder even though her adrenals and hormones were off.   It was one day when she was called into the “big office”  and offered the promotion and then she did what most people would love to do. Wait for it!  She shook his hand and said “thank you”, quit and then moved to Paris!  Kelly shares how a life changing event gave her a new perspective on her life which helped her to make this decision.   During her time in Paris she combined her passion for writing and food and began writing for the food scene and travel. It began to be easy just working for herself.   It was after coming back from Paris Kelly attended nutrition school and felt that when she was done with her studies she wanted to share this information with others. Knowing that women over forty was an underserved area it became a passion of hers to start a community. Kelly shares the most common topic that women come to her for help when hitting midlife.  We discuss how she onboards her clients to get them from where they are at right now in their health journey to where they could be.  Part of that process is evaluating where the biggest obstacles are and start working to remove them.  Food is a big place to start that process.   We also get into “snacking”  and the importance of a full nutritious meal  with all the right nutrients so you don’t need to snack.  This helps you in watching your insulin levels and helps to avoid insulin resistance which we go into a further discussion on why that’s so important.   We also dive into how stress plays a part in our overall health. When we are stressed the cortisol is secreted and when the cortisol is high then our blood sugar is off.  That’s why it’s important for her to look at food intake and stress reduction.   Kelly shares some success stories with former clients and how has working together impacted their overall sense of wellbeing.  Originally they will come in to work on one thing and be able to target a lot of other areas and feel more confident in their body!   Her website has a lot of valuable resources where she shares great recipes to keep you balanced and articles about what she is seeing in her community.  There is also a healthy living quiz. She looks at the five important areas that contribute to your health.   We also dive into midlife women and alcohol consumption and how it gets harder for us to metabolize the sugar and the carbs from these beverages.  A lot of women are stopping their use of alcohol all together and feel so much better.   Kelly shares how she calms the chaos in her life and why meditation is such an important part of her daily ritual.  She also encourages her clients in this practice of coming back to your breath in the process.  The practice of meditation has a wonderful effect on you throughout the day even when you are not in the meditation moment.  Kelly shares that what’s great about meditation is that “it’s magical, free and you can do it at home anytime you want” Resources Connect with Kelly Page at Tasting Page here  Connect with Deborah for Coaching here Take the mid life Quiz!  here

The Second Phase Podcast - Personal Branding & Brand Marketing and Life Strategies for Success for Female Entrepreneurs

Communication is Key for Finding Balance and Intimacy for Power Couples and Entrepreneurs About Naketa Ren Thigpen Naketa broke barriers and glass ceilings nearly ten years ago when she architected her professional skill set as a Psychotherapist, Trauma Specialist, Sexology and Relationship expert with strategically infused tenets of breakthrough success coaching to raise the bar and create ripples inside the personal development industry. She is now regarded as the #1 Balance & Relationship Advisor in the World. Naketa has become the go-to for fast-scaling married women entrepreneurs and power couples seeking to balance love and success without dimming or apologizing for their spirited ambition. She is the creator of the breakthrough paradigm the Joy Map Method, an International Best-selling Author of the book Selfish, Transformative Empowerment Speaker and CEO of ThigPro Balance and Relationship Management Institute. Doing It All Won't Achieve Balance and Intimacy Naketa helps power couples find emotional and physical intimacy to tap into intellectual intimacy. Often times career women and female entrepreneurs have built their lives thinking they can and have to do all the things. Maybe it was a parent or teacher who influenced their thinking that they weren't going to achieve their dreams, but something has driven them to think that they have to be and do it all. These influences cause women to move full speed in their businesses and lives and they don't give themselves time to pause and say,“What do I really want now that I'm in my 30's, 40's or 50's versus what I thought I had to be in my 20's?” Judgement Can Prevent Us From Achieving Balance and Intimacy We are all guilty of placing judgement on ourselves and harbour these negative thoughts which ultimately hold us back. Instead of seeing mistakes or failures as learning opportunities, we get stuck in a cycle of negative thoughts and judgements, which hold us back. How much does judgement hold us back from emotionally connecting with others? Naketa says it is a very large issue. But many times, it's not just the lack of physical connection, it is something deeper. Sometimes it is lost, or other emotional stresses that cause negative emotions or loss of identity that prevent us from fully showing up in our businesses or relationships. The solution isn't fixing the person, it's about helping both parties heal. Naketa helps people see that they can lose themselves in the process of trying to help someone else. It is possible to blend identities back together. There can be a lot of stress and mess if identities such as a spouse, career person, entrepreneur, parent, are not blended together within each individual in a relationship.  These identities need to be blended together for yourself first before a relationship can be put back together. Trust Is Important for Creating Balance and Intimacy  This is a huge part of why trust is a huge issue for so many entrepreneurs. Intimacy with our selves is linked to trust. Trusting ourselves with making the right decisions and trusting others is hard. If you've been in a place in life where people have disappointed you constantly and haven't lived up to your expectations of who you thought they should be in your life, it could be that you've been given them positions in your life that they haven't earned. If someone is a really good person but hasn't truly given you the seed that they are a best friend, you can't treat them like a best friend. Treat them as a good friend, trust with small invitations and opportunities first. It's like dating. It's important to do this with all relationships. People who have experienced trust issues growing up tend to have more challenges with inviting people in too quickly. As humans, we should listen to our intuition when we feel a connection but take time to let people all the way into our inner circle of life, heart or business. If you jump into relationships in business, it's going to show up in your bedroom or personal relationships as well. Communication is Key for Creating Balance and Intimacy The way you do one thing is the way you do all things. If energetic and an extrovert in business but an introvert and quiet in your personal life you aren't doing everything the same. When you go from your professional life where you've used all this energy, you are not leaving anything for the personal side of your life. You exhaust yourself by not being in a place of balance in your business and personal life. You have to communicate your needs to yourself. “That's what balance is, being able to communicate the truth about what you really want and creating boundaries around what you want.” Being really clear on what you want. Look at all of your needs. Think about Maslov's hierarchy of needs. You need more than just having your needs met. If you want to thrive you have to communicate with your lover. When there is a lack of fire in the bedroom, communicate that to your partner. Try something different. If you always have sex in the dark, turn the lights on. Pull back the covers for a change. Be on the floor, just doing something different. Don't point the finger at your lover. Listen with your actions. If you are showing up for your lover and saying I've saved my energy for you, then show them what you want them to do and slowly groom them or let them groom you so that you can be the lover you want each other to be. Ego Is a Hindrance to Achieving Balance and Intimacy When you remove yourself back from your ego, which protects us and gives us comfort, you can realize that you are both evolving as humans and can communicate better. Naketa says we have so many things in our life to take the awkwardness away, like playing Sex Jenga. Vulnerability Is Necessary for Achieving Balance and Intimacy for Life and Career Success Women typically have the narrative that being sexy or seductive is like being a prostitute. Even though we know, logically, that consensual relationships are OK. Do little teasing, tantalizing moments and build up the comfort level with each other. Lean into the curiosity and don't let your ego cause you to pull away. Over the years, as our bodies change, etc. we become more vulnerable. It's important to lean into what used to be and allow yourself to be vulnerable. Do things so that your partner can see that you are taking actions to connect with him/her. Allow yourself the kindness and understanding that this is a process and will give you more confidence. It takes time. As humans, we often don't allow others to change. And sometimes people are changing for us, not themselves. Is Change Possible? We can't change other people and we shouldn't expect them to change. At what point do people need to seek help or is it ever too late to seek help. People often get into a place where emotional connection has dissipated, and people often have affairs because they are seeking that connection Naketa believes it is never too late to change. As a Christian, Naketa believes that it is never too late to give yourself over to God, therefore it is never too late to change as long as you are open to doing what needs to be done to get to the other side of a relationship. You have to be willing to look at the whole picture and evaluate the emotional intimacy and when it's not there, it's time to seek help. Naketa works with people who are happy, but they realize they want more. Most of her clients don't see themselves as unhappy, but they want to turn up the volume in their relationship. The reality is that everyone has something wrong, or something that is not going perfectly. It's important to recognize this and take action to get help. Selfish Naketa's life journey was one of trauma and triumph. In the book, Naketa shares how she found balance and intimacy in her life and found her zone of genius for helping others do the same. What if the whole concept of finding "balance" actually isn’t just a load of BS? What if you could feel better, healthier, more at peace? Today’s episode can help you move just a little bit closer to that. About Our Guest: Want to be a rock star at work and at home? Cherylanne Skolnicki has the playbook. As an entrepreneur with a husband and three kids of her own, she knows exactly how it feels to have too much to do and not enough time to do it. It's exhausting, it's stressful, and it can be tempting to just give in to the chaos. Like most children of the 80s and 90s, Cherylanne grew up believing she could have it all. She started her first business while still in high school, and dreamed of one day becoming a CEO. After graduating from Cornell, she went to work for Procter & Gamble where she spent the next 15 years climbing the corporate ladder and managing a portfolio of well known consumer product brands (one had more than $1 billion in global sales). Despite her demanding work schedule, she still traveled, ran marathons, and volunteered like a boss. And then she had 3 children. All of a sudden, the unrelenting pace she was running at felt unsustainable. That’s when she knew she had to reorder her life so all the pieces would truly fit - including not just a thriving career and family life, but also a good night's sleep and some time to herself! It wasn't easy at first, but she finally discovered a set of practices that truly worked. That prompted her to found Brilliant Balance, and her playbook has helped thousands of professional women reclaim rock star status over the last decade. Her company, Brilliant Balance, offers work-life mentorship and coaching programs to help you have a fulfilling career, a thriving family life, and a strong sense of self. Cherylanne is a sought-after speaker and hosts the top-rated Brilliant Balance podcast. Her work has been featured in Thrive Global, The Huffington Post, Forbes, Women’s Day, and Cincy Chic. She appears on TV news shows as an expert on work life balance, productivity, and purpose. Cherylanne graduated from Cornell University in 1995. She holds an MBA from the Goizueta School of Management at Emory University. She is a member of the Female Founders Collective, one of Cincinnati’s 100 Wise Women, a Forty Under 40 Honoree, a happy wife, and a proud mom of three. Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi advises doing something that’s not related to work at all to get you into a different mindset. Beware the belief that your hobby is your work. Spending more time on a hobby that has nothing to do with work can boost confidence in your ability to perform your job well. Have you noticed the people in your profession are struggling now? Not that they weren’t struggling before it is just more apparent now because all the excuses have gone away. The things in the past that kept you and me from focusing directly on the problem at hand. I remember the days of being busy and not being able to find time for myself. To be honest it wasn’t all that long ago. Yes, I would do it for a while and then I would get sidetracked and then I would say ok ok let’s do it again. Kind of like the diet I will start it on Monday. I would forget about me and continue to worry about others. Going to work early and not taking time for lunch, working late and going home at the end of the day being spent. Does any of this sound familiar? Can you relate to any of this?

Today, I am blessed to have here with me Cynthia Thurlow. Cynthia is a globally recognized expert in nutrition and intermittent fasting, highly sought-after speaker, and the CEO and founder of Everyday Wellness Project. She's been a nurse practitioner for 20+ years, and is a two-time TEDx speaker. Her viral TEDx Talk: Intermittent Fasting: Transformative Technique has been viewed nearly 5.5 million times in less than 9 months. She has been featured on ABC, FOX5, KTLA, CW and in Medium and Entrepreneur. She's also the host of Everyday Wellness podcast, which was listed as "20 Podcasts That Will Help You Grow in 2020" by Entrepreneur magazine. In this episode, Cynthia dives deep into her viral TEDx Talk. She speaks about what it was like to prep for her speeches and how her hospital experience fueled her drive even more. Then, we talk about why Cynthia ended up leaving clinical medicine; she had been feeling very disillusioned with the practice for a long time. Fortunately, Cynthia landed on her feet, and she loves being an entrepreneur and teaching people about nutrition and intermittent fasting. Tune in as we chat about sex, healthy foods, and the life lessons we should teach our children.[04:00] What It's Like To Actually Give An Unforgettable TEDx TalkFor Cynthia’s first TEDx Talk, her most significant concern was if she could pull off memorizing 15 to 20 minutes of a speech. During the event, her goal was to be the best speaker. After the first experience, Cynthia felt completely confident that she could pull off another TEDx Talk. A month before the second TEDx Talk, Cynthia was sent off for an emergency CAT scan which revealed that her appendix had ruptured. Unfortunately, the entire length of her colon was inflamed, which explained why she was in so much pain.Next, the surgeon came in, and the first thing she said was, “if I take you to surgery tonight, you'll lose your colon.” Cynthia was in a panic – she didn’t want to lose her colon. However, Cynthia wasn’t getting any better. She had lost fifteen pounds in five days. When they did the second CAT scan, they realized that she developed abscesses in her abdomen.27 days after Cynthia left the hospital, she did the talk on intermittent fasting. Ten days later, Cynthia had her appendix out. [12:25] Writing A Speech And Committing It To Memory For TEDxCynthia knew that she needed a solid two weeks to write a speech and commit to memory. She only had twelve minutes – it was a challenge because when you get up in front of a live audience, your cadence generally slows down. Once you find your stride, you relax, and you might draw things out a little longer. So, midway through her talk, Cynthia realized that she didn't have enough time to get through the whole speech. Right after the TEDx Talk, Cynthia told her coach it was the worst one that she has ever done. [15:15] Becoming A Popular TEDx Talk After Almost DyingCynthia knows that mindset is everything. So, Cynthia wanted to get up there and give her talk no matter what. After, she knew she was going to be so proud of herself.Retrospectively, she has no idea how it all came together. When she watches it now, she thinks about how painful it was.Luckily, Cynthia is now in a completely different place on every level.[24:05] Ditching Doctor Days For The Untamed World Of EntrepreneurshipOn April 1, 2016, Cynthia left clinical medicine. She had been feeling very disillusioned with clinical medicine for a long time.Eventually, Cynthia realized what truly lit her up. What Cynthia enjoys doing is food and nutrition work. In the past year, I've been trying to avoid burnout. The coronavirus pandemic has brought scheduling challenges and changes that have required me to take a harder look at discerning how I spend my time. What am I saying "yes" to —in terms of my use of time? Keeping my calendar in front of Jesus, and keeping a daily prayer time, and keeping Sundays holy—and as a day of joy—have been life-saving. Trusting Jesus with my calendar is key, whether its job related stress, or what I'm cooking in the kitchen this week. That's why I'm talking  to Rachel Balducci, author of Overcommitted: Cut Chaos and Find Balance. Our identity is not about what we do, but who we are in Christ. Rachel's message calls us to greater holiness first, and doing what God wants us to do. I also share about a Franciscan founder of two religious orders in the U.S. and Germany, Blessed Frances Scherviers. Frances was a woman who used her time well, helping to invite troubled women into a life with Christ.   Links for this episode: The life of Blessed Frances Scherviers Overcommitted: Cut Chaos and Find Balance by Rachel Balducci Other books by Rachel Balducci are here and here. Last week, I gave you the first 5 steps for taking back your life. Today, I’m continuing right on with the next 5. These are keys I’ve picked up along the way for living a life of balance. They are the strategies I consistently use because, when I don’t, I go off track. Many of us business owners are jugglers. We attempt to juggle dozens of balls at once.  Sometimes, this is okay.  There are short-term goals that are like rubber balls--if we drop them, they’ll bounce and we’ll be okay. But some of them are like glass balls--when we drop these, they shatter and we’re left picking up the pieces. When this happens, we’re never the same. Those glass balls are the 5 core areas of life. These are the areas where we need to find and implement balance. Today I am teaching you the exact strategies I use to do so. So if you feel like you’re losing control and spinning your wheels, tune in. In this episode, you will hear: Know your peaks and troughs. Make room for personal time. How to manage your mind. Why I do that every single morning. Who to trust with our inner thoughts and needs. Get enough rest. Subscribe and Review Please share this podcast with your friends and family.
