What does it really mean to be friends with God—and how can that friendship fill our lives with lasting joy? In this uplifting episode, we talk with Faith about how intimacy with God shifts our desires, strengthens our faith, and sustains us through hardship. We also explore how to take that next step into deeper friendship with Him, and what it practically looks like to live each day knowing God as both Father and Friend. Plus, don't miss details on our journal giveaway over on Instagram @awesome_marriage! Episode Highlights: Friendship with God sparks joy in our lives. Joy is referenced over 400 times in scripture. Our default mode is to find joy in God's presence. Joy is not just a moment but a continuous state. The fall of humankind began when joy was sought outside of God. Joy is deeper than happiness; it encompasses peace and confidence. Every season of life has its own joy to discover. Jesus is the source of our completion and joy. Enjoying the Holy Spirit alters your desires. Acknowledging God in daily life fosters intimacy. Practicing the presence of God can be done in all activities. Friendship with God is accessible through salvation. Questions for Reflection: How would you describe your current friendship with God? What moments in your life have made you feel closest to God? What did those times have in common? What spiritual disciplines or habits help you feel more connected to God on a daily basis? Are there any areas where you feel distant from God right now? What might be contributing to that? Are there any distractions or habits you might need to let go of to prioritize friendship with God? Quotes from Today's Episode: "We can be friends with God." "Jesus is where my completion is." "He does the heart work." "Acknowledge Him in all your ways." "God's got answers for all of us." What would it take for us to deny our faith? Scripture foretells a future global persecution under the antichrist, similar to what many Christians face in parts of the Muslim world today. In this message, Pastor Lutzer examines how believers might endure the ultimate test of faith when facing death. God has given us spiritual resources to sustain us. Read Online“Do people pick grapes from thornbushes, or figs from thistles? Just so, every good tree bears good fruit, and a rotten tree bears bad fruit.” Matthew 7:16–17“So by their fruits you will know them.” This is how our Gospel passage for today concludes. It offers us an exceptionally practical way by which you can discern the working of God in your own life and in the life of others. When you look at your own life, what good fruit, born for the upbuilding of the Kingdom of God, do you see? Some people may find little to no fruit born, either for good or bad. Such complacency is, in and of itself, bad fruit. Other people may see an abundance of fruit, thus producing many consequences in this world. They influence the lives of many, and their public actions make a true difference. Sometimes for good...and other times for evil. When discerning the actions of God in our world, we must first be very objective. The evil one is always very deceptive and regularly presents his bad fruit as good. For example, the legalization of abortion is often presented by many within our world as a “right to choose” or a “health service.” But the intentional death of any unborn child is clearly “bad fruit” from a “rotten tree.” There are even many so-called “humanitarian groups” or very wealthy “philanthropists” who present their work as “good fruit,” when it is anything but good. And on the contrary, there are many who work hard to bring forth a greater respect for life from the moment of conception to natural death, or strive to uphold the sacredness of marriage as God designed it, or work to promote the freedom to worship in accord with the will of God, but are labeled by the secular world as prejudiced, bigoted, fearmongers and even hateful. But their work, done very sacrificially, truly does bear good fruit for the Kingdom of God.How about your own life? When you examine your actions and the fruit born of those actions, from where does that fruit originate? Does it come from a false sense of compassion, a misguided “charity,” and a fear of being criticized for standing for the truth? Or does it come from a deep love of God, an awareness of the truth God has revealed to us, and through a courageous proclamation of the pure Gospel?Good fruit, born from the heart of the Father in Heaven, will always mirror the truths of our faith. A false sense of compassion, false accusations, persecutions and the like will flow from the rotten trees in our world. We must work diligently to be those good trees that bear the good fruit coming from God. This requires a radical commitment to do what is right in the face of the evil all around us. Reflect, today, upon these images Jesus presents. Do you see clearly both the good and bad fruit around you? Is your life helping to foster the lies of the evil one or the truth and love of God? Look at the fruit your life bears, as well as the fruit within our world, in an objective way, comparing it to the clear and unambiguous teachings of Jesus. Seek out that good fruit with all your heart and do all you can to bring it forth, no matter the cost, and you will not only save your soul, you will also help feed others with the good fruit of Heaven. My Lord of all truthfulness, You and You alone define the good and evil in our world. Your truth reveals the good fruit that is born to nourish the growth of Your glorious Kingdom. Give me courage and clarity of mind and heart so that I may continually do all that You call me to do so as to bring the good fruit of the Kingdom to all in need. Jesus, I trust in You. When we experience consequences for the sin that we are partaking in, we need to respond in worship, thanking God for loving us enough to discipline us. The Bible is never supposed to be used as a weapon against us but rather as the Good News that there is forgiveness for those who believe and repent.
Daily Study: Fear is a dangerous mindset that creates a future you don't want. It's a future of failure, frustrations, and unachieved goals because fear robs you of the faith required to succeed in life and business. Therefore, we must guard our mind and emotions against fear so we can succeed in the calling God has given us. In Evangelical homes across the United States, sex outside of marriage is a sin against God. So, when Abbi becomes pregnant at 16, her devout parents hide her away at the Liberty Godparent Home, a little-known facility for pregnant teens on the campus of Liberty University. The Home says it helps girls decide what comes next – whether that's parenting their babies or placing them for adoption. But inside the facility, the girls hear a different message: God wants their babies to go to more “deserving” Christian couples. Some girls will find the strength to fight back. Others will have no choice but to give in. And some, like Abbi, will turn their grief into resistance – and take a stand against the system before more mothers lose their children to adoptions they never wanted. From Wondery, host and reporter T. J. We often pit God's law against His grace, but Exodus reveals a deeper harmony.Today, we continue our year-long Bible study in the book of Exodus, The Gospel: One Rescue at a Time. In this fourth and final introductory episode, Paul explains why the giving of the law at Mount Sinai was not a burden, but a gift of grace for His people. For more in-depth Bible studies from Exodus, visit PaulTripp.com/Exodus.
This episode began with an honest question from a white evangelical Christian — a former Trump voter who reached out through the Hey Pastor Ben email series. He asked:“Is it really required for Christians to support Israel no matter what they do? Or is there room for us to question — and still be faithful?”That question has shaped the theology of millions, influenced foreign policy, funded war, and been used to claim that God demands allegiance to a government in order to give His blessing. The verse often quoted is Genesis 12:3: “I will bless those who bless you, and curse those who curse you.”But what does that actually mean today — and who does it apply to? In this episode, we walk through 12 of the most urgent questions Christians are asking right now — questions about scripture, Zionism, blessing, ancestry, covenant, empire, prophecy, and what it actually means to follow Jesus when injustice is unfolding in real time.Questions like:— Is the State of Israel a fulfillment of prophecy — or a product of politics?— Who is actually closer to Abraham: those in power, or those being occupied?— Is opposing Zionism the same as opposing Jews?— What does it really mean to “bless Israel”?— And if our faith can't tell the difference between justice and domination — is it still following Christ? This isn't about picking sides. It's about telling the truth. And it ends with a prayer that may offend you — unless you've already begun to see the gospel more clearly. To ask your own question, email me at HeyPastorBen@gmail.com.I'm listening. And I'll tell you the truth.

After tragically losing his father as a child, David Wootten lived a lost and reckless life of rebellion as a teen and young adult that ultimately led to joining the Army. A career ending injury in Iraq coupled with struggles with PTSD, alcohol and drugs left him on the verge of losing his family and even his life. It wasn't until a pastor introduced David to the sport of archery and to a God he thought had abandoned him that he finally found the love, peace and purpose he had been searching for. www.taurususa.com www.cva.com www.himtnjerky.com www.murrelloptics.com www.jumpmedic.com www.christianoutdoors.org www.citrusafe.com www.elimishieldhunt.com

Questions about how to respond to someone who's asking for evidence for objective morality, what to say to atheists who counter the moral argument for God by rejecting the necessity of objective morality, and the definition of intuition. An atheist who's debating me about objective morality ignores what I say about our just knowing it deep inside and keeps pressing me for evidence. What should I do? What should I say to atheists who counter the moral argument for God by rejecting the necessity of objective morality? What is intuition?

Ever feel like your family's mess disqualifies you from God's best?Carl kicks off House of Dysfunction by owning the chaos in his own family, from plastic-covered couches to Haitian Thanksgiving drama. But it's not just laughs. He walks us through the messy, powerful story of Rahab, a woman whose past screamed “disqualified” yet whose faith changed everything. This is a message for anyone who feels like their story is too broken, their choices too flawed. Grace lives in the places we least expect—right in the middle of our dysfunction.Rahab's story is proof: God doesn't wait for perfection, He looks for surrender. Her scarlet cord wasn't just a rescue sign, it was a declaration: grace is in this house. If you're tired of being stuck in generational brokenness, Rahab's faith shows the way out. This is a raw, honest call to stop playing it safe, tie your cord, and step boldly into a better legacy.

More Than a Song - Discovering the Truth of Scripture Hidden in Today's Popular Christian Music
Send us a textWe love the miracle moments—the breakthrough, the answered prayer, the clear direction. But what about the space between deliverance and destination—the “in-between”? Inspired by Summit Worship's "In The Waiting" and the Israelites' journey through the wilderness, this episode of More Than a Song explores what God may be teaching us when the waiting feels long and the water tastes bitter. Could it be that in the in-between, God isn't absent...He's just getting personal?Key PointsMichelle shares personal updates on being “in the waiting” and how this season mirrors the spiritual and emotional tension explored in this week's song and Scripture.God doesn't abandon us in the “in between”; He uses it to shape us and reveal Himself more deeply.Michelle uses the Israelites' journey after the Exodus to explore how God tests and teaches His people during wilderness seasons.God's expectations of devotion come before His provision—He desires a relationship, not just requests. The names and attributes of God, such as Yahweh Rapha (“The Lord Your Healer”), are revealed through these wilderness moments.Scripture ReferencesExodus 15:22–27 – Bitter water made sweet; God reveals Himself as “The Lord, Your Healer.”Exodus 16:3–4 – God's people grumble in hunger; He tests them with daily provision of manna.Exodus 17:2–7 – Quarreling and thirsting at Massah and Meribah; God brings water from the rock.Exodus 13:17 – God intentionally leads the Israelites the long way around to avoid immediate conflict they weren't ready for.Exodus 1–17 (recommended reading) – To fully grasp the context of Israel's wilderness journey.Bible Interaction Tool Exercises (BITEs) UsedRead in context – Don't isolate stories; read the full narrative from Exodus 1–17 (and beyond!)Use curiosity and meditation – Ask yourself questions like, “Why did they grumble against Moses instead of God?”Remember the people in the Bible were REAL – Remember, these were real people with real needs and emotions.Make a list – What does God want? (Ex. 15:26)Read in multiple translations – Words like “tormented” in the NLT can spark new insights.Use supplemental resources – Biblical Fiction like Where the Desert Blooms by Sierra Elliot can bring Scripture to life - Amazon Paid LinkAdditional Resources
Welcome back to Restoring the Soul with Michael John Cusick. In today's episode, Michael welcomes friend and fellow leader Robby Angle for an engaging conversation about Robby's new book, The Path: What if the Way of Jesus is Different Than You Thought?—a collaborative work designed to help the next generation rediscover grace, true identity, and the heart of discipleship.Together, Michael and Robby dive into how our cultural assumptions about Jesus and our spiritual journey might be missing the mark. The discussion explores why so many of us, especially young adults, get stuck striving for God's approval or sliding into spiritual passivity, and how learning to trust and receive God's love changes everything. They reflect on the importance of authentic community, the dangers of approaching spiritual disciplines as a “how-to-get-better” manual, and how a shift from outside-in to inside-out spiritual growth can lead to real transformation. As they unpack themes from Robby's book and his work with Trueface, you'll also hear their thoughts on the deeper mystery of encountering God, why relationships are foundational for lasting change, and how churches can cultivate environments that foster true discipleship.Support the showENGAGE THE RESTORING THE SOUL PODCAST:- Follow us on YouTube - Tweet us at @michaeljcusick and @PodcastRTS- Like us on Facebook- Follow us on Instagram & Twitter- Follow Michael on Twitter- Email us at info@restoringthesoul.com Thanks for listening!

Read OnlineAll who heard these things took them to heart, saying, “What, then, will this child be?” For surely the hand of the Lord was with him. The child grew and became strong in spirit, and he was in the desert until the day of his manifestation to Israel. Luke 1:65–66John the Baptist was formed by the hand of the Lord. Saint Thomas Aquinas goes so far as to say that John was sanctified in the womb of his mother, Elizabeth, as is written: “He will be filled with the holy Spirit even from his mother's womb” (Luke 1:15). From the moment that the Blessed Virgin Mary greeted Elizabeth and John leaped for joy, the hand of the Lord was upon John, making him holy and leading him to the fulfillment of God's holy will.John's early life is not recorded for us, other than in the passage quoted above. We are told that he “grew and became strong in spirit, and he was in the desert until the day of his manifestation to Israel.” We should see in this passage the truth that John was not only sanctified within the womb of his mother but that, throughout his childhood and on into adulthood, he remained deeply united to God and was filled with the Holy Spirit.Today we honor one particular aspect of John's life—his birth. We know that he was blessed to not only be born into the blessed family of Elizabeth and Zechariah but that the Blessed Virgin Mary, the Mother of God, was also his relative and was present at his birth. Zechariah, his father, gave him the name “John” even though it would have been the custom to call him Zechariah after his father. Zechariah did this in obedience to the Archangel Gabriel, who appeared to him prior to John's birth and instructed him to do so.Great mystery and excitement surrounded the birth of John, and there is little doubt that those who were present at his birth would have been caught up in the intrigue and hope of who he would become. And John didn't disappoint. It was of him that Jesus one day would say, “I tell you, among those born of women, no one is greater than John…” (Luke 7:28).Though you may not have had the privilege of being sanctified in the womb of your mother, or to have had your father receive a revelation from the Archangel Gabriel prior to your birth, you are, nonetheless, called to be guided by the hand of the Lord each and every day. God wants you to become “strong in spirit” so that you can fulfill the unique will given to you. We honor the great saints, in part, because they give us an example of how to live. For that reason, we must see in each of their lives the model to which we must conform. The primary witness set by Saint John the Baptist is that he was unwaveringly obedient to God and to being formed by His hand. The result was the glorious fulfillment of his unique mission in life, all the way to giving his life as a martyr. Reflect, today, upon the very real fact that, though you were not sanctified in the womb, you were sanctified by Baptism. From there, you were strengthened by the Spirit through Confirmation and are regularly fed by the Most Holy Eucharist. In many ways, you are just as blessed as John.Reflect upon the simple yet profound fact that God wants to use you for His holy mission. He gives to you some particular mission He has not entrusted to another. Say “Yes” to that mission today so that you, too, will be seen as “great” in the Kingdom of Heaven.Lord of all greatness, You sanctified Saint John the Baptist in the womb, and You continued to pour forth Your grace upon him throughout his life. He responded to You and fulfilled his glorious mission. I thank You for the sanctification given to me by my Baptism and strengthened through Confirmation and the Holy Eucharist. Help me to be open to all the graces You wish to bestow so that I may fulfill the unique mission given to me. J. Raphael tells a startling true story of young love, coercion, and defiance – and the dangerous resurgence of maternity homes in post-Roe America.Listen to Liberty Lost: https://wondery.com/shows/liberty-lost/ See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.
Can Prophets Be Pastored? | Navigating Prophecy and Church Authority in the Charismatic Movement - Ever seen a prophet go rogue, claiming “God told me!” to bypass church leaders? We're exploring the essential question of prophetic submission and healthy church culture. In this episode of Remnant Radio, Josh Lewis, Michael Miller, and Michael Rowntree tackle a pressing question facing many charismatic churches today: Can prophetic people submit to local church leadership? Or more provocatively — what happens when prophets refuse to be pastored?Too often, prophets are seen as untouchable figures who “hear directly from God” and use that perceived authority to bypass or even challenge pastoral leadership. We examine this cultural phenomenon in light of Scripture, offering pastoral insight, biblical parameters, and real-life stories from their own churches and ministries. We explore:* The dangers of prophetic elitism and spiritual manipulation* Biblical models of submission to elders and church order* When prophecy becomes a platform for rebellion* Historic abuses from movements like Montanism* The necessity of protocols, testing, and known character* How churches can cultivate a healthy prophetic culture without quenching the SpiritIf your church operates in the gifts of the Spirit — especially prophecy — this is a must-watch conversation. You'll walk away with practical wisdom on how to encourage the prophetic while protecting your church from division, doctrinal confusion, and cult-like authoritarianism.00:00:00 Intro: Can Prophets Be Pastored?00:03:22 Addressing Prophets Struggling with Church Authority00:16:15 Protocol for Prophetic Ministry00:20:05 Biblical Parameters00:31:49 Mutual Submission & Submission to Church Leadership00:54:20 Conclusion: Spirit and Order in the Local ChurchSubscribe to The Remnant Radio newsletter and receive our FREE introduction to spiritual gifts eBook. The Bible is full of stories of God using people who committed their lives fully to trusting and obeying Him. Once we receive Him into our lives and give ourselves completely to Him, He dwells in us and can do amazing things through us.
Pastor Rob McCoy delivers a fervent message from 1 Timothy 4, warning against doctrines of demons, particularly replacement theology, which he labels as demonic anti-Semitism. Addressing recent U.S. military actions against Iran's nuclear facilities, he explains Iran's apocalyptic Shiite theology, driven by the 12th Imam belief, as a threat to Israel and global stability. Through historical insights, from Rome's renaming of Israel to Palestine to the Holocaust's roots in Christian anti-Semitism, he refutes claims of a Palestinian state and defends Israel's biblical and sovereign rights. Pastor McCoy calls for discernment, prayer for leaders, and rejection of deceptive teachings, urging believers to stand with Israel, pray for peace, and embrace God's unchanging covenant with His people, exemplified by the miraculous restoration of Hebrew and Israel's nationhood.Verse References: 1 Timothy 4 verses 1–11, Matthew 7 verses 15–16, 2 Corinthians 11 verses 13–15, 2 Corinthians 2 verse 11, Ephesians 5 verse 11, Romans 3 verse 4, Romans 11 verses 17–18, Isaiah 6 verses 1–3, Ezekiel 37 verses 1–28, Amos 9 verse 15, Acts 3 verses 19–21, Jeremiah 16 verse 15, Jeremiah 24 verse 6, Hosea 11 verse 11, Matthew 6 verses 9–10, Luke 17 verse 24Make sure you subscribe to this channel and follow us on all our platforms to always stay up to date with our latest content! And you can always head over to our website for any general information!https://godspeak.comPrayer/NeedsIf you have any needs, or have a willingness to be used to meet various need in the body, please email info@godspeak.com. Pastor Micah Stephens delivers a dynamic message from Acts 9, exploring the transformative power of the Holy Spirit through Saul's dramatic conversion to Paul. From a zealous persecutor of Christians, Saul becomes a chosen vessel for Christ, illustrating God's ability to redeem even the worst enemies. Pastor Micah contrasts Saul's murderous intent with his radical obedience after encountering Jesus, emphasizing that God's grace turns Satan's plans against him. Drawing from personal anecdotes, like his VBS teaching and family lake trip, he encourages believers to embrace their role as vessels for God's purpose, trusting in His transformative power despite seeming impossibilities. Pastor Micah calls for obedience, urging the church to reject fear and persecution, knowing Christ bears their burdens and uses trials for His glory.Verse References: Acts 9 verses 1–22, Acts 8 verses 1–3, Acts 5 verses 34–39, 1 Corinthians 2 verses 7–8, Hebrews 11 verse 8, 2 Corinthians 5 verse 17, 1 Timothy 1 verses 15–16, 2 Timothy 2 verses 20–21, Genesis 50 verse 20, Acts 9 verse 31, Acts 26 verse 14, Judges 14 verse 4Make sure you subscribe to this channel and follow us on all our platforms to always stay up to date with our latest content! And you can always head over to our website for any general information!https://godspeak.comPrayer/NeedsIf you have any needs, or have a willingness to be used to meet various need in the body, please email info@godspeak.com. Pro Tips for Hot and Dog Shows and When Safety Overrules Ribbons Host Laura Reeves brings you Pure Dog Talk's LIVE@5 discussion of the hot summer dog shows and when safety is more important than ribbons. "Let's talk about what hot means. And everybody has their own understanding of it, right? So what is hot to someone like myself from the Northwest might be no big deal if you're from Phoenix. Understand that if you're hot, your dogs have similar acclimation and so it's really important to understand what your dog can tolerate. "I was doing my handling class for folks last night and I was talking about this topic and I had a pug dog back in the day, Pug Special, and the day he went best in show in Wisconsin, the thermometer said it was 105 and it was 85% humidity. Yeah, it was really gross. If you look at the photo of me from that day, I look like I've been dipped in olive oil. It is just disgusting. "The judge was Norman Patton. I remember it all very clearly and he flat told me that the reason my dog went best in show that day, not just was he a nice pug dog or what have you, but on that horrible gross awful day, my dog went around the entire best in show ring without panting. "And so a lot of that has to do with what the dog is acclimated to. That particular pug dog lived in Nebraska at the time. He was accustomed to gross humidity. And my dogs were not pampered pets. They went outside in the gross humidity. I was careful with them, but they were acclimated to the heat and the humidity, which other dogs If I had brought him straight from the West Coast to that environment, he'd have died. But because he was acclimated after a couple of years in Nebraska, it was more manageable for him. "And the other thing that I did was manage his situation. So at a hot dog show, you have an ice chest full of ice and water. More water than ice, but it is ice cold water. You do not give that to your dog to drink. You put your cool coat or your shammy or your towel or your whatever you're going to use in that water and then you ring it out as much as you need to for your dog's coat and you put it on the ground and you have the dog stand on it. "You do not put it over the dog's back because that's not going to get them cool. Dogs release heat from their pads, they release heat from their ear flaps, they release heat in their groin, anus, all of the places that have unfurred space. And so if we're going to keep our dogs cool, the way to keep them cool is to have the coldness underneath them. "And then I had a good Ryobi fan. I had a spray bottle with water in it, and I had another shammy and I had trained him. So this is the other part. He was trained. That's an important part of this conversation. He was trained. He could lie down on his side in the ring and I would cover his eyes, his whole head up with another cold chamois. And so he was iced, literally, he was chill. "And this particular ring was outdoors, kind of in semi shade. I spent the vast majority of that time in the best in show ring with the dog lying down and my back to the judge, to the ring, to everything else so that I could put him in the shade. I used my body to shade him because there wasn't as much shade as I would like there to be. "So you can manage the heat if the dog is accustomed to it, if the dog is fit and if it is acclimated to the basic conditions and then you can keep them cool enough for the amount of time that you have. So that's number one. "Number two, remember. There's no law that you have to go to the dog show that you entered if it's 100°. Another special, another time, another place. There was a big candy ass. I can't say it another way. God love him. I loved that dog, but he was not heat tolerant and he had won a big specialty in California. And I had a huge falling out with his co-owner over it because I refused to show him the group, because it's gonna be 105 and it was out in more sun and he was going to be...

TODAY'S DEVOTION: Jehu's Zeal and the Zeal of the Lord Jehu's devotion was extreme and violent. He personified a radical devotion and zeal for the Lord. The results were the elimination of Baal worship in Judah—and many dead people. Like Jehu, our own devotion and zeal, as great as it might be, may yield results, but it's not the ultimate answer that we're looking for. Sometimes those results have nothing to do with God. Our real need is for peace, not violence. Our real need is for right standing with God and joy in this life. Our zeal might get results, but it's not the results we really need. The zeal of the most zealous man is not enough. Holy Jihad is not the answer. There is only one man whose zeal can achieve what must be done in my life and in this world—and it's not Jehu, or you, or me who achieves it. The results are not the shedding of another's blood, but rather it was God's radical commitment to lay down his life in co-suffering love for the whole world, for those near and far, that accomplishes what is needed. Jehu is a flawed picture of this. In Isaiah 9, we see a far better picture of the person who would accomplish freedom for us: “For a child is born to us, a son is given to us. The government will rest on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. His government and its peace will never end. He will rule with fairness and justice from the throne of his ancestor David for all eternity. The zeal of the Lord of Heaven's Armies will make this happen.” His zeal—not Jehu's—has won for you and for me all that we need to start anew, to have strength, to have joy, to have a new beginning. Rest in the results of his zeal and no one else's. No one else will do. Christ has done for us what no man could do. He has achieved for us life. That's a prayer I have for my own soul. That's a prayer I have for my family, for my wife, and for my loved ones. And that's a prayer that I have for you. May it be so. TODAY'S PRAYERS: Lord of life, you have awakened me again to the gift of this day. You go before me, walk beside me and dwell within me. Let me walk slowly in your presence. May I resist the hurried spirit of this world and instead breathe deep of your peace. Open my eyes to beauty, my ears to your voice, and my heart to the quiet work of grace. Help me not to strive, but to abide, not to achieve, but to receive. Today, Let my words carry your kindness, my actions reflect your mercy, my thoughts be anchored in your truth, that I am yours and you are with me. Hunter: Amen. Hunter (leading the Lord's Prayer): And now, as our Lord has taught us, we are bold to pray. Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory, forever and ever. Amen.
