Click here now to access the tool > Rethinking Growth: How to Scale Without Sacrifice Have you ever considered scaling to seven figures and thought: ‘I couldn't do that,' or ‘That would cost me too much?' More hours. More stress. More sacrifice. It's this belief that keeps so many women playing small. They remain convinced that bigger growth must come at the expense of their freedom, their family, or their wellbeing. But Fabienne Fredrickson, founder of Boldheart and author of The Leveraged Business believes differently. In this episode of The Brilliant Business Book Festival, she shares how female entrepreneurs can move from six to seven figures with ease — not by working harder, but by leveraging smarter. This episode is a must-listen if you've ever dreamed of expanding your business, but worried it would mean losing yourself in the process. Prefer to WATCH? https://www.youtube.com/@melittacampbell “To grow, you don't need to work more — you need to work less, and leverage more.” – Fabienne Fredrickson The Feminine Way to Scale When Fabienne first left corporate, she quickly realised that the typical “success formulas” didn't fit. The traditional models — hustle harder, outwork the competition, close sales with rigid scripts — felt heavy, masculine, and misaligned. And yet, she also knew that ignoring growth wasn't an option. So she chose a different path. Instead of chasing every tactic, Fabienne focused on what truly worked, cutting away the 80% that drained time and energy. Over time, she developed a distinctly feminine way of scaling — one that honours rest, values alignment, and creates space for life outside of business. The Eight Leverage Activators for Sustainable Growth Her book outlines eight “activators” that, like switches in a dark room, bring clarity and momentum as you flip them on. These are: 1. Leverage Your Team – Build and trust a team that takes work off your plate so you can focus on growth rather than doing everything yourself. 2. Leverage Your Systems – Put in place documented processes so the business can run smoothly even when you're not directly involved. 3. Leverage Your Time – Be strategic about how you spend your hours, limiting low-value work and protecting time for high-impact tasks. 4. Leverage Your Business Model – Shift from doing everything yourself to one-to-many models or other scalable designs so revenue isn't tightly tied to your hours. 5. Leverage Your Marketing – Build omnipresent, automated or semi-automated marketing so leads come without you personally doing every outreach. 6. Leverage Your Accountability – Create external structures or supports (mentors, peers, boards etc.) that help keep you on track and responsible for progress. 7. Leverage Your Differentiation – Clarify what makes you unique and position that strongly so you attract clients who value you, not just any client. 8. Leverage Your Lifestyle – Design your business around the life you want rather than letting business demands dictate your personal time. The common lesson between these activators is that sustainable growth happens when you work less, but smarter, and when you trust others (and yourself) to hold more. “Scaling is not about hustle; it's about shifting your identity to receive more with ease.” – Fabienne Fredrickson Mindset Before Strategy Fabienne highlighted that that business growth begins with identity, not tactics. The mindset that carries you to six figures will not take you to seven. To step into that next level, you need to: Believe it's possible for you, not just for others. Strengthen your capacity to receive more. Let go of hyper-independence and embrace support. And the fastest way to build that belief? Surround yourself with women who've already done it. Evidence and community reshape what you see as possible — and allow you to claim more for yourself. Redefining Ambition Scaling doesn't mean sacrificing. It means designing a business that sustains you instead of drains you. A business where evenings and weekends are yours. A business where freedom and growth go hand in hand. As Fabienne reminds us, when you leverage wisely and shift your mindset, expansion can feel natural, aligned, and deeply nourishing. If you've ever secretly thought, “I'd love to reach seven figures, but not at the cost of my life,” in this episode, Fabienne shows you a different way forward. A Final Thought to Reflect On Scaling isn't about chasing more — it's about choosing differently. The moment you stop trying to do everything and start focusing on the few things that truly move the needle, your business (and your life) begin to expand. So, instead of asking “How much harder do I need to work?” try asking “How much more can I allow?” Because the future you're dreaming of doesn't require more sacrifice. It requires more space, more trust, and more you. Want to explore what this could look like for you? We've been through hell and back. Me and body, that's for damn sure. I wish more business owners would share all that they're struggling with versus suffering in silence, because thinking you're “just fine” until you're not is a cover up. I've made so many mistakes, but the one that I didn't make was being vulnerable about what I was going through. This is the 6-year play-by-play of building a 7-figure business while navigating mold, adrenal insufficiency, subpar hormones and personal curveballs thrown my way. I hope my story helps, and I hope it serves as a reminder that you can scale while healing. -Join our Fit Pro Business Secrets Made Simple group over on Facebook for exclusive resources, trainings and help as you're growing your online fitness business. https://www.facebook.com/groups/fitprobusinesssecrets/ Follow Taeler on Instagram. https://www.instagram.com/taelerfit/Learn more about working with Taeler, whether you're just starting your online coaching business or scaling to multi-6/7-figures. https://taelerdehaes.com/

This podcast interview focuses on the entrepreneurial journey to solve the most challenging productivity challenge in Manufacturing: human action. My guest is Max Fischer, Founder and CEO of Deltia. Max is a mechanical engineer. In 2014 he was a founding member of HackZurich, the largest hackathon Switzerland has ever seen. In 2015 he co-founded Actyx and digitized 40+ factories. In this startup, he led product management, sales, and marketing teams. Meanwhile he has established himself as a thought leader in the space of digital transformation for the factory floor. In November 2022, Max founded Deltia, a startup focused on helping factory operators track, analyze and improve efficiency by identifying the best possible processes and assisting workers with digital tools. Their mission: to make human work in manufacturing more productive and less error-prone by taking out the guesswork. And this inspired me, and hence I invited Max to my podcast. We explore what's broken in identifying productivity opportunities in manufacturing. Max explains how for the first time ever - this is possible. He shares some of his big lessons on building the company, especially when it comes to foundational questions like "who's it for" and 'what's it for' - and how that helped them remain highly focused. He elaborates on his first principes for building the platform - and how that helps them stay resilient and offer scalable solutions. . Here's one of his quotes There are a lot of decisions that you take both on the technical level and what customers you're serving. Who is the user that you're trying to focus on? We decided quite early on to not specifically target the Toyota's of this world. The automotive OEMs are basically the best-run manufacturing companies in the world. There are use cases, obviously, also for technology, no doubt about that. But I think a big opportunity is to help the 98% of other factories to come to a similar level to where Toyota of Volkswagen are today. During this interview, you will learn four things: Why functionality is important - but not as important as system design How to go about building for business scalability rather than just technical scalability of your solution. Why the dream is not to help Toyota or Volkswagen - but companies much smaller and weaker than those brands. What they are doing differently to accelerate stakeholder buy-in from IT, legal, and Unions. Increased production and decreased timelines. Who wouldn't want that? While AI can represent a massive leverage for organizations, many professionals are still struggling to embrace it or can't seem to understand how to use it properly. Thus, it's the responsibility of sales leaders to educate their teams on its capabilities, as well as integrating AI into their current workflow.AI tools like chatGPT have the power to help you 2x, 3x, or even 10x your output. There is no excuse not to incorporate AI into your organization. And with that in mind, today, we're joined by Mike Begg, Co-Founder & CEO of AMZ Advisors, an eCommerce consultancy firm, to discuss how AI is changing the game, which trends he foresees moving forward, and how to adapt to the new business landscape as we approach 2024. A very understated exercise in sales is the win/loss analysis. Too many companies consider this activity as an afterthought, while also wondering why their close rates or churn rates aren't as good as they should be.Having focused conversations with lost opportunities may not come top of mind, but this activity has the power to uncover invaluable insights that not only improve close rates but also shape the outlook of an organization.Today, Jake is joined by Michael Hoffman, cofounder and CEO of PastSight, to discuss why this simple activity can unlock massive business growth, and how you should go about it. On the new episode of "Elevator Pitch," find out how much investors are willing to bet on first-time founders. "I love seeing first-time entrepreneurs, but what I love even more is seeing two- and three-time entrepreneurs who have had successful exits!" So says investor Kim Perell on this new episode of Entrepreneur Elevator Pitch, where we learn if contestants with a track record of success can find their way into our panel members' hearts (and wallets) faster than first-timers. Although Kim is impressed with a contestant's history of wins, investor Jonathan Huang isn't quite as sold. "Just because you had an exit doesn't mean you were successful," he notes. This is another episode packed with lessons that anyone hoping to fund their dream business needs to learn. As long-time viewers know, every episode of Entrepreneur Elevator Pitch gives contestants the chance to step into an elevator and try to win over investors in just 60 seconds. If they blow it? It's back to the drawing board. But if the pitch goes great, life-changing money is on the table.

This week on The Jake Dunlap Show, Jake talks about how many Sales leaders and executives don't often appreciate the revenue operations side of the business, and a lot of that has to do with not understanding what Revenue Operations can do for them and how it applies to the business on a larger scale. There are two things RevOps does really well. The first is surface insights that make the organization better - aka more productive and profitable. The second thing they do really well is not "recommendations" based on these cross-organization insights but the strategy that will make an impact. So, how can you support RevOps so they can better support you? Understanding these two things is what RevOps are best at, and working with them on Jake's step-by-step strategy to fixing the way you run your RevOps org today. In this episode, Jake covers:When revenue operations is done right, they can provide insights and then the actions to foundationally change your sales process.Step one is do a deep dive from the top down and then back to the top.Having a revenue operations roadmap to meticulously attack the bottleneck (and then the next) and requests from the frontline is absolutely critical. The best-in-class revenue operations teams run their roadmap like a product. Most of us in Sales think of things in sprints, and then they're fixed. The reality is that most of these processes are never truly done. Hit the subscribe button on your favorite podcast player so you don't miss the next episode. In this episode of the Jake Dunlap Show, we are joined by Patrick Danial, a global enterprise guru, co-founder, and Chief Technology Officer of Terakeet, a company that unsurprisingly has been named in the top 5 of the 2020 Best Workplaces in New York by GPTW_US and FortuneMagazine. For the past 25 years, Terakeet has been on an ascending path, from startup to global marketing partner for global brands seeking online business growth through direct audience engagement. When Patrick and his team decided it was time to take their business to a new level, they had to rethink their leadership strategies. In order to grow their company, they had to learn to trust and empower their people in decision-making and help them develop the right type of risk mindset.Listen and find out what are the pain points when going through this leadership transitioning process and what you need to do in order to create an environment where people feel involved and motivated to push forward. Time stamps: (00:43) Our guest, Patrick Danial, Co-founder and CTO of Terakeet;(01:28) Empowering decision-making employees;(07:41) Navigating through this type of leadership transition process;(13:45) When to take risks and the right type of risk mindset you want your people to develop;(18:44) How do you stay focused and keep your people involved and dedicated to this type of change;(21:27) The one thing you wish someone would have told you if you were a new leader, starting out today. Quotes: “We attempt to always grab the wheel and fix a situation ourselves, (...) but that quickly changes if you're looking to move beyond the lifestyle business and not be held captive to every single facet of the business, every customer and every employee need.” “We continued to grow but we were still very much a founder-led company, up until five years ago when we learned about the power of numbers and allowing people to contribute ideas and vote on ideas in a safe space.” “You can't extend autonomy to someone until you make them feel that we're all moving in the same direction, and then you can step back and give them the motivation to push forward and take their own risks.” “People know what's going on. People can see the business, they see what's broken even if it's not in their own department.” “By having the team be a part of the process it can make the lows a little bit higher because they feel like they're a part of it. Gabriela Pulido founded a creative consulting agency, Scalto.com, that serves a niche market. Gabriela coaches companies ready to scale without incurring high costs with a strong focus on the Hispanic and Latin American markets. To date, Gabriela has worked with over 300 global Latin American & Hispanic brands. Using a unique framework she developed, the xAlto Program™, she helps businesses grow in new markets. When working with foreign markets, it's important to not only translate the marketing message into another language but to understand the nuances of the market. This requires an understanding of the culture and the people you are targeting. When you work with different cultures, you need to conduct research, so you don't alienate them by saying something that doesn't jive with their culture. A feat that is not as simple as it sounds. The xAlto Program™ framework helps companies expanding into new markets and cultures know precisely how they need to pivot. This enables them to make intelligent marketing decisions instead of just throwing things out there and waiting to see what sticks. By keeping an open mind and not being stuck with laser vision, companies can explore new and different options and opportunities they would not have thought of had they not pivoted distribution into new markets. In Gabriela's experience, companies grow most when they have a clear vision. They need to understand the why. Knowing what motivates your growth makes it easy to find the right path, no matter how many new markets you try to conquer. The first part of the framework that Gabriela teaches her clients is that no brand can be everything to everyone. To truly scale a business, you need to narrow your offer, focus, and niche. The more targeted you are, the easier it is to scale. The next step is to have a clear vision of the narrative is? What are the pillars of your brand story, and how are you sharing this story with potential clients? Sometimes, you need to change your brand image or logo to win at narrative or storytelling. You need to connect with the market you're looking to expand in. The last step in the framework is to put all the pieces together. When you have everything in place tailored to your brand, that is when you see success and growth. A framework covering all the bases can take a bank with deep roots in one country and help them pivot by becoming a local community bank in another country. This is what Gabriela's company did for a Venezuelan banking institution, Mercantile Bank. Once you understand where you want to go, you need to create a plan to get there. If you're a business looking to expand into new markets, follow this One Big Tip!In this episode:[2:55] Gabriela shares her diverse background, having worked in different marketsIn today's world, there is expansion happening from market to marketTo grow your business, you need to understand that different cultures and markets view things differently[8:01] You need to know how to adapt to move forwardMiami is a microcosm of what's happening in the businessIf you want to succeed you need to be open-minded [15:02] A surefire way to pivot successfully is to follow a strategy that worksKnow who your market isKnow what their pain points areKnow your why[18:20] Marketing is the creativity that can take X and make people believe that it's YMarketing is comprised of many different moving partsTo break into a new market successfully, you must speak the proverbial language of the peopleSupport the show

With every strategy, we're going to implement, there are four key phases. Phase one is the strategy itself, IMPLEMENTATION. That's where the real work starts for a new member. The key word here is CONVERSION, not just implementation. Each strategy needs to be SYSTEMIZED. Once we got it converted, then we organized it. Paul took a team from seven down to three or four and doubled the revenue. How is that? Because his VA could run it across three different desks, A, B and C. Then part four was HANDED OVER. So you'll never be part of that process again.
