In Episode 207, we explore Luke 10:1-12 and Jesus' commissioning of seventy-two disciples for mission. Jesus chooses seventy-two followers and sends them ahead in pairs to all the towns and places He plans to visit. His instructions are striking in their simplicity and their radical dependence: no money, no traveler's bag, no extra sandals. They can't rely on their own resources. They can't fall back on their own provision. They have to trust that the Lord of the harvest will provide through the people they serve. Through guided meditation, discover what Jesus builds into the sending from the very beginning. Before they go anywhere, before they knock on a single door or enter a single town, Jesus tells them: "Pray to the Lord who is in charge of the harvest; ask him to send more workers into his fields." The mission begins in prayer. Not strategy. Not planning. Not training programs or outreach campaigns. Prayer. This is the foundation of everything that follows. Then Jesus sends them out with the simplest possible assignment: offer peace, heal the sick, announce the Kingdom. You don't need a program. You don't need a platform. You don't need a theology degree or a polished presentation. You just need to show up, offer what Jesus gives you, and trust Him with the results. This episode explores the profound principle of radical dependence that Jesus builds into the mission. The disciples can't rely on their own resources—they're sent as lambs among wolves. But this vulnerability is not weakness; it's the design. It forces them to trust the Lord of the harvest, to depend on His provision, to experience His faithfulness in real time. Learn what Jesus asks them to do when they enter a home or a town: offer peace first. Not a program. Not an argument. Not a sales pitch. Peace. And then heal the sick and announce that the Kingdom of God is near. The message is simple. The method is relational. The power comes from God. Discover how this applies to your life today. The harvest is great. The workers are few. And Jesus is looking at you. Identify your own harvest field—the three specific people in your neighborhood, workplace, family, or circle of friends who don't yet know Jesus—and begin where Jesus told His disciples to begin: on your knees in prayer. Find the freedom and confidence that comes from knowing that the mission doesn't depend on your resources, your eloquence, or your strategy. It depends on the Lord of the harvest—and He is more than enough.

In Episode 206, we explore John 10:11-18 and Jesus' powerful declaration: "I am the good shepherd." Jesus draws a sharp and revealing contrast between two kinds of leaders. The hired hand works for a paycheck. When the wolf comes—when things get dangerous, when the cost gets too high—he runs. The sheep don't belong to him. He doesn't love them. He leaves them to face the wolf alone. But the Good Shepherd stays. Not because He has to. Not because He's trapped or obligated. But because He chooses to. "No one can take my life from me," Jesus says. "I sacrifice it voluntarily." This is not a reluctant sacrifice made under compulsion. This is love in its purest form—a shepherd who sees the wolf coming and steps between the wolf and the sheep. Through guided meditation, discover what makes Jesus' shepherding so profoundly personal. "I know my own sheep," He says. "And they know me—just as my Father knows me and I know the Father." Jesus doesn't just die for a crowd or a concept or a religious category. He dies for sheep He knows by name. He knows your fears. He knows your wandering. He knows the places you've been scattered and the wounds you carry from it. He knows the needs you haven't voiced and the prayers you've been afraid to pray. And He came anyway. He stayed anyway. He laid down His life anyway. This episode explores the radical nature of Jesus' voluntary sacrifice. "No one can take my life from me. I sacrifice it voluntarily. For I have the authority to lay it down when I want to and also to take it up again." Jesus is not a victim of circumstances. He is not caught off guard by the cross. He walks toward it with full knowledge and full authority, choosing to lay down His life because He knows His sheep and loves them completely. Learn what it means to be truly known by Jesus—not just generally as part of humanity, but personally, specifically, by name. Discover how this changes everything about how you face your fears, your struggles, and your hidden needs. Find the courage to bring one unspoken need to the Good Shepherd today—the worry you haven't voiced, the fear you've been managing alone, the need you haven't brought to anyone because it feels too small or too complicated or too shameful. Experience the freedom and rest that comes from trusting a Shepherd who doesn't run when things get hard, who knows you completely, and who chose to lay down His life specifically for you.

In Episode 205, we explore John 9:28-41 and the stunning conclusion to the story of the man born blind. The formerly blind man has been interrogated by the Pharisees, who are furious that he keeps defending Jesus. They curse him, claim their authority as disciples of Moses, and dismiss Jesus entirely: "We don't even know where this man comes from." But the formerly blind man responds with remarkable clarity and courage: "Why, that's very strange! He healed my eyes, and yet you don't know where he comes from? Ever since the world began, no one has been able to open the eyes of someone born blind. If this man were not from God, he couldn't have done it." The Pharisees are enraged. "You were born a total sinner!" they say. And they throw him out of the synagogue—rejecting him, dismissing him, cutting him off from the religious community entirely. Through guided meditation, discover what happens next. Jesus hears what happened and seeks the man out. Not the other way around. Jesus finds him. And He asks a simple question: "Do you believe in the Son of Man?" The man's answer is beautiful in its honesty: "Who is he, sir? I want to believe in him." He doesn't have all the theology yet. He doesn't have a complete understanding of who Jesus is. But he has the posture—open, willing, hungry. And that's enough for Jesus. "You have seen him," Jesus says. "And he is speaking to you." And the man worships. This episode traces the remarkable journey of this formerly blind man: blind beggar to healed man to rejected outcast to worshipper. His sight kept growing—from physical eyes to spiritual eyes to full recognition of who Jesus is. Each step of rejection and difficulty deepened his sight rather than diminishing it. Meanwhile, the Pharisees—certain they already see, confident in their knowledge and authority—are declared by Jesus to be completely blind. "You remain guilty because you claim you can see." Certainty has become their blindness. Their confidence in their own sight has closed their eyes to the truth standing right in front of them. Learn why certainty can be the enemy of sight and why the willingness to say "I want to believe—show me" is the beginning of truly seeing. Discover how Jesus seeks out the rejected and the outcast, finding those who have been thrown out by the religious establishment and offering them the fullest revelation of who He is. Find practical steps for tracing your own journey from blindness to sight to worship, and discover where you may be blind without knowing it. Experience how sight that doesn't lead to worship is incomplete, and let your open eyes lead you all the way to the feet of Jesus.

Looking at Martha's distracted service, God's purpose for our lives, Satan's strategy of distraction, and Jesus' warning about empty religious activity, we'll learn how to focus on what truly matters. God isn't impressed by how much we accomplish—He's interested in whether we're accomplishing what He created us to do.

The Towel and the Basin: The Heart of a Servant – John 13:1–17 In Episode 145 of Divine Table Talk, Jamie and Jane begin one of the most intimate and transformative sections of the Gospel of John. In John 13:1–17, Jesus—the King of kings—kneels to wash the feet of His disciples, revealing that true greatness in God's Kingdom is found in humble service. Together, they unpack the significance of this unforgettable moment, exploring what it means to love sacrificially, lead with humility, and serve others with the heart of Christ. Peter's struggle to accept Jesus' act of service also reminds us that following Jesus means learning both to receive His grace and to extend it to others. This episode is an invitation to exchange pride for humility, status for service, and self-centered living for the example Jesus modeled on the night before the cross. As followers of Christ, we're not just called to admire His example—we're called to live it. Who is Jesus inviting me to serve with humility this week, and am I willing to lay down my pride to love like He loved?____________________________________ Connect with Jamie: Website: www.jamieklusacek.com Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/jamieklusacek Connect with Jane: Website: www.janewwilliams.com Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/janewwilliams

In Episode 204, we explore John 9:8-12 and the aftermath of one of Scripture's most remarkable healings. Jesus has healed a man who was born blind—a man everyone in the neighborhood knew as the blind beggar who sat and begged. But now he can see. And the neighbors are completely confused. Some don't even recognize him. "Isn't this the blind beggar?" "No, he just looks like him." And the man keeps saying: "Yes. I am the same one." He doesn't have a theology degree. He doesn't have all the answers. When they ask where Jesus is, he simply says: "I don't know." But what he does know—what no one can take from him—is this: "The man they call Jesus made mud and spread it over my eyes and told me, 'Go to the pool of Siloam and wash yourself.' So I went and washed, and now I can see." That's his testimony. Three sentences. Unpolished. Unashamed. Unstoppable. Through guided meditation, discover what makes this testimony so powerful. He can't explain the theology of how mud and water opened his eyes. He can't tell them where Jesus went. He doesn't have answers to every question they might ask. But he can tell them what happened to him. And nobody can argue with that. This episode explores how your story works the same way. You don't need to have all the answers. You don't need to be a theologian. You don't need to understand every doctrine or be able to defend every argument. You just need to know what Jesus did for you—and be willing to say it. Learn why the most powerful testimony is often the simplest one. The beggar's three-sentence story—what he was, what Jesus did, what is different now—is more compelling than any theological argument because it's personal, specific, and undeniable. No one can argue with your experience. No one can debate what you've lived. Discover your own "now I can see" moment—the thing Jesus has done for you that you could tell someone today, simply and honestly. Find practical steps for identifying one person in your life who needs to hear your story and crafting your testimony in three simple sentences. Learn why you don't need to wait for the perfect moment or the perfect words. The beggar didn't wait. He just kept saying: "Yes, I am the same one—and now I can see." You have a story too. And it's more powerful than you think.

What if the Bible isn't just a book to study, but a love story inviting you into a deeper relationship with God? In episode five of our Summer Recap Series, Shelley Giglio sits down with beloved Bible teacher and longtime friend Lisa Harper for an honest and hope-filled conversation about knowing the God of the Bible—not just knowing about Him. Lisa shares how God has patiently pursued her through seasons of doubt, disappointment, fear, failure, and loss, teaching her that true freedom isn't found in performing, pretending, or presenting a polished version of ourselves. It's found in believing that we are already fully loved by Jesus. Together, Shelley and Lisa talk about the difference between religion and relationship, the importance of knowing Scripture for ourselves, and how theology isn't just a subject to study. It's a conversation with a God who desires to be known. From Lisa's journey into public ministry to the story of adopting her daughter Missy, she shares how God redeems what feels irreparable and meets us with His kindness in the places we feel most broken. If you've ever felt like you have to clean yourself up before coming to God, this conversation is a reminder: Jesus is not a scowling Savior waiting for you to get it right. He is a loving Father inviting you closer. Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. See pcm.adswizz.com for information about our collection and use of personal data for advertising.

What if your wilderness season isn't a sign that God has left you—but proof that He's preparing you? In this powerful return to the Revelations Podcast, Christa Black Singh shares how God has continued to redeem every chapter of her story. From heartbreak and divorce to remarriage, motherhood, and deep spiritual healing, Christa reflects on what it truly means to walk with Jesus through seasons of crushing, restoration, and rest. Together, Reagan and Christa explore difficult but important topics including suffering, biblical discernment, spiritual warfare, the unseen spiritual realm, New Age deception, healing from trauma, and learning to hear God's voice before praying and speaking our own declarations. Christa also shares deeply personal stories about the loss of her daughter Goldie, God's redemption through unimaginable grief, and the profound lessons she learned after leaving New Age practices behind. Christa breaks down the realms of heaven, ancient technology and how understanding the strategies of the enemy can transform our spiritual lives. Whether you're walking through a wilderness season, wrestling with spiritual questions, or longing for deeper intimacy with Christ, this conversation will encourage you to trust God's goodness, embrace His refining work, and remember that His redemption is always greater than your pain. Key Takeaways God often uses wilderness seasons to prepare us for greater purpose. True success is becoming more like Christ—not gaining influence or recognition. God can bring healing from trauma and understanding the connection between spirit, soul, and body. Discernment begins by asking, "Lord, what are You saying?" before speaking. Spiritual warfare is real, but Jesus has complete authority over every power. Healing involves our relationship with God, our emotions, and our willingness to surrender. No failure, trauma, or loss is beyond God's power to redeem. Jesus is the only doorway to the Father, and lasting freedom is found in Him alone. We talk about why cravings, emotional eating, scrolling, shopping, striving, and the search for approval aren't random—they often reveal a deeper desire for lasting comfort, peace, and connection with God. Reflecting on Psalm 73, we explore how even the best things in life can never fully satisfy, while God alone becomes the portion that never fades. We also look at Jesus' invitation throughout the Gospels and His prayer in John 17, where eternal life is described as knowing God personally. For those who struggle to sense God's nearness, we offer practical encouragement for renewing your mind with truth and cultivating awareness of His presence throughout the day. We close the series with a simple practice: pause and ask, "Lord, where are You right now?" This week, Jordan, Jay, and Nic join in for a conversation about spiritual warfare, repentance, and what it means to put on the full armor of God every day. After reflecting on the battles the Lord has carried us through, I realized that endurance is not passive. Sometimes we become so weary in our faithfulness that we stop fighting. Other times, we become so confident about the battles we've already survived that we stop guarding ourselves. Both can leave us spiritually vulnerable. We unpack 2 Samuel 11 and the moment David remained in Jerusalem when kings were expected to go to war. What began with being somewhere he was not supposed to be led to lust, sexual sin, deception, murder, and months of unrepentance. David's story reminds us why we must remain engaged in the fight, confess quickly, and never assume that past victories make us immune to temptation. If you're experiencing spiritual warfare, faithful fatigue, inconsistency, shame over sin, or weariness from fighting one battle after another, I pray this conversation encourages you. Seriousness does not mean joylessness, and devotion does not mean perfection. When you don't feel strong enough to fight, be honest with the Lord and ask Him to help you want what He wants.Keep fighting. Look to Jesus, hold tightly to His promises, and remember that you do not have to fight in your own strength.See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

In this episode of The Two Trees Podcast, we explore the Table of Nations, Noah's tragic fall after the flood, and the symbolic world of biblical numbers. Far from being a dry genealogy, Genesis 10 presents a breathtaking vision of humanity united under one Creator, while the recurring pattern of seventy points toward God's sovereign claim over every nation on earth. By tracing this theme from Noah to the Feast of Booths, the seventy elders, Jesus' seventy-two disciples, and beyond, we'll see how Scripture tells one unified story of humanity's rebellion—and God's unrelenting plan to reclaim the nations for Himself.

He emphasizes that effective leadership requires strong policies, training, accountability, and organizational health. Parker encourages pastors not to focus on starting new ministries but to first listen to their communities, identify unmet needs, and build partnerships with existing organizations. He concludes that administration is not opposed to ministry—it is a God-given tool that protects the mission and helps churches serve people more effectively.Purchase Christian Leader Sight Planner (a tool that has drastically changed Ryan's productivity):Black Cover – https://amzn.to/3JpBHvmBlue Cover – https://amzn.to/4ouFRB9Green Cover – https://amzn.to/4oXVLUr Purchase The Christian Leader Blueprint book today:https://www.ryanfranklin.org/blueprintbook Connect with Ryan:Email: info@ryanfranklin.orgFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/rnfranklin/Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/rnfranklin/Linkedin: https://www.linkedin.com/in/rnfranklin/Website: https://www.ryanfranklin.org  Audio mastering by Apostolic Audio: https://www.apostolic-audio.com  #leadership, #thoughtleadership, #ministry, #pastor, #pastors, #churches, #leadershiptraining, #churchleader, #churchleaders, #influence, #leadershipdevelopment, #coaching, #executivecoach, #leadershipcoaching, #productivitycoach, #productivity, #growthmindset, #theproductiveleader, #ChristianLeader, #ChristianLeadership, #LeadershipPodcast, #FaithAndBusiness, #PodcastInterview, #ChristianEntrepreneurship, #KingdomImpact, #PodcastInspiration, #LeadershipJourney, #PurposeDriven, #ChristianPodcast, #LeadershipEssentials, #LeadershipFundamentalsSend us Fan Mail

EP 122: Baby Steps Are Still Steps: Faithfulness, Endurance & Spiritual Growth

Hey Guys! After a little break last week, I'm back with the team for a conversation about building endurance in the Christian faith through daily obedience, patience, and spiritual growth.Sanctification is a process, and so is building endurance. Using a lesson I learned from “ego lifting” in Pilates, we talk about why God may be more interested in our faithful reps than the amount of weight we're trying to carry. So many of us want the big moment, the visible calling, or the impressive testimony, but God often develops our character through the quiet monents each day.We talk about walking in step with the Holy Spirit without trying to rush ahead, remaining faithful when our growth feels invisible, and trusting that God is establishing roots beneath the surface.Through the lives of Abraham, Moses, and David, we're reminded that their public moments of faith were preceded by years of private preparation and obedience. If you're a new believer, discouraged by your pace, comparing your calling to someone else's, or wondering whether you're truly growing, I pray this episode encourages you. Baby steps are still steps. You don't have to reach the finish line first; you just have to keep going, looking to Jesus as the founder and perfecter of your faith.See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.
