Raised: When Jesus Calls the Dead to Life – John 11:27–57 In Episode 141 of Divine Table Talk, Jamie and Jane explore one of the most powerful miracles in all of Scripture—the raising of Lazarus in John 11:27–57. As grief, doubt, hope, and faith collide, Jesus declares Himself to be “the resurrection and the life” before calling Lazarus from the tomb. Together, they unpack what this miracle reveals about the heart of God, the power of belief, and how Jesus often works in ways that stretch our faith beyond what we can see. This chapter is not only about a man being raised from the dead—it's about a Savior who brings life into every place that feels hopeless, buried, or beyond redemption. If you've ever wondered whether God can still move in what feels impossible, this conversation is a reminder that Jesus specializes in resurrection. What area of my life feels beyond hope—and am I willing to believe that Jesus still brings dead things back to life?____________________________________ Connect with Jamie: Website: www.jamieklusacek.com Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/jamieklusacek Connect with Jane: Website: www.janewwilliams.com Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/janewwilliams

Have you ever wondered if what you're doing really matters? Maybe your days feel ordinary. Maybe you're faithfully serving your family, showing up for work, caring for others, or quietly doing what God has called you to do—but sometimes you wonder if it's making any difference at all. If you've ever felt that way, this week's episode of The Love Offering Podcast is for you. I had the joy of sitting down with my dear friend, Bible teacher, and author Crickett Keeth to discuss her new Bible study, Living Out a Life That Matters. Through Paul's relationship with Timothy in 2 Timothy, Crickett reminds us that every believer has a God-given purpose and that our lives carry eternal significance—even when they feel small, routine, or unseen. In our conversation, you'll discover: • How to identify and live out your unique God-given purpose• Why comparison steals our joy and distracts us from our calling• The importance of encouraging and investing in others• How God uses even the smallest acts of faithfulness for His glory• Why it's never too late to make an eternal impact One of my favorite moments from our conversation was when Crickett shared the story of her mother in a nursing home. Though she could no longer see, hear, walk, or speak, God still used her simple smile to point others to Jesus. It's a beautiful reminder that God never puts His children "on the shelf." Friend, your life matters. Your obedience matters. Your faithfulness matters. And God can use you right where you are today. I pray this conversation encourages you to embrace the purpose God has given you and to trust that He is working through your life in ways you may never fully see this side of heaven. After The War came to Fellowship Baptist Church, Bobby reflects on the joy of watching God use the next generation, especially as his son David recruited teens, helped in the invitation, and personally led several young men to Christ. But the episode moves beyond one exciting week of outreach to a bigger challenge from the Great Commission: every Christian has a next mission. If you have received the gospel, your next step is to grow; and as you grow, God calls you to go help others grow too. Topics Discussed The return of The War under Austin Brownlee's leadership Watching God use young people in evangelism David Bosler recruiting teens and leading several to Christ The follow-up event after The War: “The Next Mission” Matthew 28 and the Great Commission The receiving side of the Great Commission: grow The sending side of the Great Commission: go Baptism as the first step after salvation Surrendering to God's next step in your life Helping others take their next step without pride or condescension Depending on Christ's presence and power to fulfill His mission Key Takeaways Every saved young person has a next step. The first step after salvation is believer's baptism. Christian growth does not stop with one decision; God wants obedience in all things. The Great Commission is not only something you receive, but something you obey. God calls growing Christians to help others grow. You do not have to feel fully prepared before God can use you. Christ's mission requires surrender, but it also comes with His enabling presence. God wants to use you to make a difference in someone else's life. TRIGGER WARNING! Many people have asked to hear more of Fred's story. In this episode, he opens up about parts of his life he doesn't often share publicly. This episode of Draw Near contains adult themes; we do not recommend listening in the presence of children. Through an honest conversation with Kara, Fred reflects on his childhood, the hardships he experienced, and the wounds throughout his early life. He shares why he often says, "I shouldn't be alive," and how there were moments when his future seemed uncertain. Yet this episode is about far more than suffering or past wounds. Looking back, Fred can now see how Christ was present even in the darkest seasons: through unexpected people, quiet moments of grace, and circumstances that helped lead him toward healing and faith. What once seemed like random events now reveal a story of God's providence and relentless pursuit. In this episode, we discuss: Fred's childhood and family experiences The challenges and wounds that marked his early years Why he says he "shouldn't be alive" The lasting impact of suffering and brokenness Where Christ was present throughout the journey How God works even when we cannot see Him The path that eventually led Fred to deeper faith and conversion Hope for anyone who feels trapped by their past Whether your story is marked by loss, pain, disappointment, or unanswered questions, this conversation is a reminder that God is never absent. He is often working in ways we cannot yet understand. As Jesus says in the Parable of the Prodigal Son (and Kara referenced in the episode): "For this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found." (Luke 15:24) No wound is beyond Christ's reach. No story is beyond redemption. *Resources Mentioned * OCIA curriculum from Ascension: INVITED Webinar The Surrender Journal *Listen Next * If this episode resonates with you, consider listening to Fred's other testimony episodes, where he shares more about his conversion, his Catholic faith, and the ways God continues to work in his life today. Is your life operating from a place of blessing, or are you constantly striving to earn it?In the kickoff message of our new summer series, Is This Thing On?, Travis Aicklen dives deep into the profound, exponential power of our words. Far from just a polite cliché or a quick response to a sneeze, a true biblical blessing is the projection of good into the life of another person. By examining the roots of the word—from the Old Testament Barak to the New Testament Eulogia—this sermon challenges us to break free from insecurity, comparison, and the "blessing deficit" that plagues so many families. Discover how to speak life, direct your future, and operate from the secure identity of being fully loved and blessed by God.Key Points & Scripture ReferencesWork From Blessing, Not For It: Before humanity ever accomplished a single task, God created and blessed them. Just like Jesus at his baptism, we are designed to work from a place of blessing and affirmation, rather than striving to earn it. (Genesis 1:27-29)The Danger of the Deficit: The story of Jacob highlights the brokenness and deception that occur when we live with an orphan spirit, desperately trying to scheme our way into receiving a blessing. (Genesis 27)Blessings Must Be Spoken Out Loud: A blessing isn't truly a blessing until it leaves your lips. We must actively and verbally "eulogize" (speak well of) the people in our lives to empower them. (Luke 24, Proverbs 31)Words Direct Our Future: Just like the rudder of a ship, the words we speak—whether blessings or curses—set the trajectory for our lives and the lives of those around us. (James 3)Our Spiritual Inheritance: Through Christ, we have been redeemed from the curse and have already been given every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places. We are blessed to be a blessing. (Ephesians 1, Galatians 3)Call to ActionTake a close inventory of your words this week. Are you withholding encouragement from your spouse, children, friends, or coworkers? Don't let your loved ones live with a blessing deficit. Step into your God-given authority, speak life over your family, and intentionally direct the course of their future with your words. If you are struggling with insecurity or an unhealed "orphan spirit," bring it to God and allow your church family to speak truth and blessing over you today.Join us Sundays at 8:30am or 10:30am. In this powerful conclusion to our two-part series, we contrast Peter's failure in the face of temptation with Jesus' victory through surrender. Looking at Matthew 26:36–46 and John 12:27, we see two very different responses to pressure, fear, and testing. While Peter slept and later denied Christ, Jesus prayed, submitted, and stood firm. What made the difference—and how can we respond differently when we face our own moments of testing?

Send us Fan MailIn this third episode of our Loud Longings series, we explore a different way of understanding cravings, urges, and unwanted behaviors. Instead of seeing them as proof that something is wrong with us, we consider the possibility that they may be coming from a single part of us that is tired, lonely, anxious, discouraged, or still carrying old wounds. Together, we talk about how food, scrolling, shopping, busyness, and other comforts can become attempts to soothe those hurting places, and why curiosity often leads to more healing than shame ever could.Drawing from Psalm 34, Hebrews 4, and Matthew 11, we reflect on God's nearness to the brokenhearted and Jesus' compassion toward human weakness. We share a simple breath prayer—“Here I am” on the inhale, “with all of me” on the exhale—and guide listeners through a reflection of bringing their most vulnerable places into Jesus' presence. If you've ever worried that God would pull away if He saw the real you, this conversation offers a gentle reminder that He meets us with steadiness, kindness, and rest, even in the places we would rather hide.Listen, share this with a friend who's tired of shame-driven change, and subscribe so you don't miss the next conversation. Have you ever been angry at God and didn't know if that was allowed? Have you sat in church smiling while internally asking why He felt so far away? Have you prayed the same prayer for years and still heard nothing — and quietly started to wonder if any of it was even working? This is Episode 4 of our mini-series — Things Christian Women Don't Say Out Loud — and we saved this one for last on purpose. Because this one is the deepest. And the most personal. In this episode, Tayler, Alora, and Mary go to the places most Christian podcasts won't. The doubt. The unanswered prayers. The seasons where God went completely silent and they didn't know what to do with that. The bitterness of watching someone else receive the miracle you prayed for. The anger they were afraid to admit even to themselves. This is the faith episode. And it is the most honest one yet.In this episode we talk about:Doubt as a doorway — not a dead endWhat to do when God feels completely silentPraying for your husband's safety every deployment and still living in fear every single dayThe prayers that felt unanswered and what that did to our faithBeing angry at God — and whether that's allowed (spoiler: it is)What faith actually looks like inside a military life full of uncertaintyHow to worship God through genuine bitternessComing out of the hardest season still standing — and still believingScripture anchor: Habakkuk 3:17-18 — "Though the fig tree does not bud and there are no grapes on the vines... yet I will rejoice in the Lord."Whether you are a lifelong woman of faith or you are somewhere in the middle of the hardest wrestling match of your spiritual life — you are safe here.Bring your questions. Bring your doubt. Bring the things you have never said out loud. Because we believe that is exactly where the real thriving begins.

In this episode of Faith Talks, Anna Faith Fuller interviews Terrilaina Gillmore about her journey of faith, missions, and surrender to God's will. From her salvation as a young girl to her burden for orphans and medical missions, Teri shares how God used His Word, missions trips, and even painful trials to make His calling clear. Her testimony challenges young ladies to stop chasing the easy road and instead follow the fulfilling road of knowing God, hearing His voice, and stepping forward in faith. Topics Discussed Teri's salvation testimony and early desire to know God through His Word How missions trips shaped her view of the world and burden for others Her heart for orphans and how nursing became part of that calling Lessons learned through medical ministry in Ghana How God used an injury in Papua New Guinea to confirm His direction The sufficiency of God's grace in moments of weakness The danger of worldly voices crowding out God's Word Why young ladies must make clear decisions to follow God's will The difference between an easy life and a fulfilling life Key Takeaways God's will is not always easy, but it is always fulfilling. Weakness does not disqualify you from usefulness; it may be the very place where God shows His strength. God often uses trials to clarify His direction in your life. Young people must intentionally silence competing voices if they want to hear God clearly. Time in God's Word transforms your desires, decisions, and direction. The world is not neutral, so passive Christianity is not safe Christianity. God wants to use surrendered young people in ways far bigger than they realize. The last six months of consistent classroom teaching has reminded me of an important lesson: Students are more capable than they think. In reading, writing, and math, many times what our students need aren't intensive lessons covering specific steps for success, but rather repeated opportunities to achieve, to practice doing important skills even if they do it poorly early on, and a chance to see their own growth over time.It is a beautiful thing to see a student learn a new skill, and it is a satisfying moment for everyone when that student realizes he or she is capable of learning beyond what they expected for themselves.Show Notes: https://bit.ly/4aRIEzw

This pressure drives many to compartmentalize their pain, maintaining a strong outward image while privately battling emotional and spiritual challenges, making vulnerability feel risky instead of restorative.Purchase Christian Leader Sight Planner (a tool that has drastically changed Ryan's productivity): Black Cover – https://amzn.to/3JpBHvm Blue Cover – https://amzn.to/4ouFRB9 Green Cover – https://amzn.to/4oXVLUr Purchase The Christian Leader Blueprint book today: https://www.ryanfranklin.org/blueprintbookDownload The Christian Leader Blueprint – Short Guide (Free): https://www.ryanfranklin.org/blueprint Take the Christian Leader® Self-Assessment (Free):https://www.ryanfranklin.org/clselfassessment Learn more about Christian Leader® Community Coaching:https://www.ryanfranklin.org/communitycoaching YouTube and Audio Podcast: https://www.ryanfranklin.org/leaderpodcast Connect with Ryan: Email: info@ryanfranklin.org Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/rnfranklin/ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/rnfranklin/ Linkedin: https://www.linkedin.com/in/rnfranklin/ Audio mastering by Apostolic Audio: https://www.apostolic-audio.com#leadership, #thoughtleadership, #ministry, #pastor, #pastors, #churches, #leadershiptraining, #churchleader, #churchleaders, #influence, #leadershipdevelopment, #coaching, #executivecoach, #leadershipcoaching, #productivitycoach, #productivity, #growthmindset, #theproductiveleader, #ChristianLeader, #ChristianLeadership, #LeadershipPodcast, #FaithAndBusiness, #PodcastInterview, #ChristianEntrepreneurship, #KingdomImpact, #PodcastInspiration, #LeadershipJourney, #PurposeDriven, #ChristianPodcast, #LeadershipEssentials, #LeadershipFundamentalsSend us Fan Mail

Spiritual Authority: The Lie That Keeps Christians PowerlessIn this continuing series on Spiritual Authority, Terry and Reneé Mize tackle one of the most common beliefs in Christianity and examine it through the lens of Scripture. Many believers have heard the phrase, “God is in control,” but what does the Bible actually teach about authority, responsibility, and dominion in the earth?Beginning in Genesis and continuing throughout Scripture, Terry explains how misunderstanding spiritual authority can lead believers into passivity, confusion, and frustration. When Christians fail to understand what God has delegated to mankind, they often blame God for things He never intended. In this episode, you'll discover:• Why spiritual authority matters • What God delegated to mankind • The difference between God's sovereignty and man's responsibility • Why misunderstanding authority can produce powerless living • How Scripture reveals God's original plan for dominionThis eye-opening teaching continues building the foundation for understanding how spiritual authority operates and why believers must know what God has already provided through His Word.Scriptures discussed: Genesis 1, Genesis 2, and additional passages regarding authority, dominion, and responsibility.
