January 6, 2006. On the C-SPAN morning call-in program, the topic is lobbying and money and politics.   The guest is from the American League of Lobbyists… Here's one of the calls. Good morning, so, you are either stupid or naive, or whatever. If you are a low-level aid, you know good and well that if I were to call my congressman, who is Frank Wolf, I'm not going to get an audience with him unless I take him to Charlie Palmer's steakhouse right down on 101 Constitution Avenue. I am not going to get a call-back from him. I am not going to get a regular letter. I'm going to get a form letter thanking me for my interest.   Ah, Charlie Palmer Steak. The caller got the address correct. And it was actually the second mention of Charlie Palmer on "Washington Journal" that morning. But -- there likely won't be many more mentions of Charlie Palmer on C-SPAN … Or anywhere else…. Charlie Palmer – the steakhouse one block from the U.S. Capitol -- has shut down.. • How much money did political influencers spend at Charlie Palmer? • Which political notables were famous for going there? • And what did the C-SPAN audience think of all the lobbying and influence served up at Charlie Palmer? The first known survivor of China's state-run forced organ harvesting regime recently went public with his story in Washington.Peiming Cheng, who was imprisoned for 8 years and brutally tortured for practicing Falun Gong, was also forced to undergo surgery in November 2004. He woke up with a foot-long scar across his side.Subsequent comprehensive medical examinations revealed he was missing a large part of his liver and a portion of his left lung. And in a stunning admission, the Chinese regime has recently publicly acknowledged doctors operated on Cheng without his consent—supposedly to save his life.So what is the significance of this case? And what's next?In this episode, I sit down with international human rights lawyer David Matas, who was among the first to independently investigate allegations of forced organ harvesting from Falun Gong practitioners in China.I also speak to Robert Destro, who served as Assistant Secretary of State for Democracy, Human Rights and Labor and was instrumental in getting Cheng to America; former Congressman Frank Wolf, a fierce champion of human rights in his three decades in Congress; and Nina Shea, director of the Center for Religious Freedom at Hudson Institute.Views expressed in this video are opinions of the host and the guests, and do not necessarily reflect the views of The Epoch Times.

When you manage change within a company, the pressure is on. The future of the business may be at stake.  So what do you do when your company's change programs fall flat?  This week, Oliver Aust is joined by Frank Wolf to discuss the best approaches to leading organizational change and building a strong narrative. Frank Wolf is the co-founder of Staffbase, a leading employee communication platform used by global brands like Adidas, DHL and Domino's.  As one of THE experts in the world on future trends in communications, Frank is the author of The Narrative Age: How Leaders can Inspire Change in a Polarized World. The secret ingredient to win over your team? Narratives. But you have to know how to use them, how they are different from stories and which mistakes to avoid.   For instance, when dealing with change, often leaders focus solely on the new narrative, which can leave the team feeling left behind and misunderstood.  Frank also talks us through the importance of understanding the existing narrative map and ensuring that no employee is left behind. He shares the key reasons why most change processes fail and how leaders can successfully guide their teams through transformation.  Tune in to gain valuable knowledge on turning resistance into results. Wolf expresses concern that religious leaders and faith communities are not speaking out and advocating for religious freedom as they did in the past, citing examples like Chuck Colson and Rabbi Saperstein. He calls for a resurgence of religious leadership motivating their constituencies to take specific action, such as banning lobbying for countries designated as religious freedom violators. Wolf also suggests having members of Congress travel to witness religious persecution firsthand, adopting prisoners of conscience, and holding a summit to unify faith groups around issues like the persecution of religious minorities in China. The conversation explores innovative ways to reignite activism and advocacy on international religious freedom. https://www.uscirf.gov/frank-wolf Special Guest: Frank Wolf.

ABOUT CALEB MAX: Former Congressman Frank Wolf's grandson, Caleb Max is running for his old seat in Virginia's 10th Congressional District - a target race for the NRCC and DCCC. His grandfather held the seat for 34 years from 1980-2015, and Caleb, who is a 24-Year Old Small Business Owner & Farmer is running to take the seat back from the Democrats this November. Caleb is the Founder of the Athenai Institute and Stand Against Chinese Communism (SACC), two organizations dedicated to fighting the CCP. Caleb incorporated a commercial and residential landscape company in 2014 at the age of 17 after cutting his neighbor's lawns since he was 13.  Caleb grew this business from one mower to now having 6 crews with 15 employees and a 500 property client list.  Caleb has also experienced hardship when he bought Pica Deli in Reston, Virginia three months before the Covid pandemic. Caleb also owns a 40-head cattle beef farm at his home in Round Hill, Loudoun County Virginia. Caleb would be the youngest member of Congress if elected. Website: https://www.maxforvirginia.com ABOUT VA-10: Virginia's 10th congressional district is a U.S. congressional district in the Commonwealth of Virginia. It is currently represented by Democrat Jennifer Wexton, who was first elected in 2018. The district includes all of Clarke County, Frederick County and Loudoun County, parts of Fairfax County and Prince William County, as well as the independent cities of Manassas, Manassas Park and Winchester. The district closely matches Virginia's voting patterns in statewide races with nearly identical margins as the final statewide results.

The Christian Outlook -- April 21, 2018 Kevin McCullough discusses with New York Post reporter Michael Goodwin the James Comey interview with George Stephanopoulos, as well as Comey's book, "A Higher Loyalty: Truth, Lies, and Leadership.” Don Kroah invites Frank Wolf, co-founder of the 21st-Century Wilberforce Initiative, to share about 50-year-old pastor Andrew Brunson, who has been serving the people of Turkey for 23 years, and is in desperate need of prayer as he battles Turkish courts for his freedom. Frank Sontag discusses with Jim Daly of Focus on the Family, the ominous Assembly Bill 2943, which is racing through Californian legislature, taking religious freedom with it. Don Kroah speaks with Jerry Johnson, president and CEO of National Religious Broadcasters, who has been warning many of the growing trend of Christian and conservative censorship online. While sitting in with Georgene Rice, Joshua Chatraw makes the Biblical admonition to "contend earnestly for the faith" a tad easier with his book “Apologetics at the Cross: An Introduction for Christian Witness.” Bob Burney exposes how anti-God the New Yorker Magazine is by reading from an article about how Chick-fil-A is a cultural threat.
