Build Your Remarkable Practice for Chiropractors

What if AI isn't just another tool, but something that's already changing how patients find and choose care? Dr. Lona and Caleb Hodges unpack how quickly search behavior is shifting and why relying on traditional marketing alone may no longer be enough. The conversation moves from curiosity into application, showing how AI can help practices repurpose content, remove bottlenecks, and create more consistent visibility. At the same time, they address the hesitation many chiropractors feel and why the real advantage comes from learning how to guide and train these tools rather than using them casually. Key Highlights 01:41 – Hear why AI is becoming an area of real focus, and what's driving that level of attention in business 02:09 – See how AI is expanding what's possible in a practice beyond just saving time on tasks 03:03 – Understand the growing gap between practices that adopt AI early and those that delay, and what that could mean long term 04:27 – Learn how unused content can be repurposed into consistent marketing without creating everything from scratch 06:30 – Discover how treating AI like a team member changes how you delegate and get output 09:09 – Hear how patient search behavior is already shifting, and what people are actually typing in now 10:25 – Understand why AEO is emerging and how it changes how practices get found online 14:03 – See why many chiropractors resist AI at first, and what usually shifts their perspective 16:19 – Learn why AI output depends on how well it is trained, and what improves results over time 19:15 - Dr. Rachel is joined by Dr. Kendall Price of Success Partner Elevate Marketing to unpack what it really takes to turn marketing into a true growth system for modern practices. They explore how Elevate moves beyond generic campaigns by blending brand identity with proven strategies, building trust through every step of the patient journey, and optimizing for real outcomes like patient show rates, not just leads. When marketing becomes intentional, relational, and data-driven, growth shifts from unpredictable to scalable and sustainable.   Resources Mentioned For more information about Elevate Marketing please visit: https://goelevatemarketing.com/   To schedule a Strategy Session with Dr Lona: https://go.oncehub.com/DrLonaBuildPodcast To schedule a Strategy Session with Dr Bobby: https://go.oncehub.com/DrBobbyBuildPodcast Learn more about the Remarkable CEO Podcast:  https://theremarkablepractice.com/podcast

In This Episode Persuasion doesn't start with techniques—it starts with care that can be felt, not just intended. In this episode, Adi Klevit sits down with Danny Bobrow to explore why so many businesses lose opportunities even after attracting interest. Danny explains that while marketing can make the phone ring, success is determined by what happens next. He introduces the idea of the "care gap," the space between a professional's good intentions and how those intentions are perceived by the person on the other end of the conversation. Adi and Danny dive into the Art of First Impressions, including Danny's structured approach to phone conversations that respectfully establishes trust, control, and reassurance within seconds. Through specific examples, Danny shows how asking the right questions, using names intentionally, and setting a supportive tone can transform routine interactions into meaningful connections. The conversation expands beyond dentistry to communication in any industry or relationship. Danny outlines his Persuasion Blueprint, emphasizing that true persuasion is ethical, collaborative, and rooted in helping people make decisions in their own best interest. Together, Adi and Danny reinforce that communication is not a personality trait—it's a system that can be learned, practiced, and refined.

Hybrid and remote work can feel efficient and isolating for team members. In this episode, Jonathan breaks down practical ways leaders can make virtual work more human: intentional one-on-ones, quick post-meeting “hallway” moments, and chat spaces that build rapport without derailing productivity. You'll learn how to design simple communication habits that create belonging, clarity, and trust—even when you've never met in person. What you'll learn How to keep “people over platforms” without losing efficiency Micro-rituals that replace in-person hallway time The right cadence for 10–15 minute 1:1s and why they matter Chat norms that boost morale and reduce miscommunication TL;DR: Small, intentional communication habits (short 1:1s, post-meeting check-ins, and clear chat spaces) turn remote work from transactional to connected—and your team will feel the difference. Key Takeaways 00:00 – Welcome: Why “people over platforms” is the real hybrid advantage 00:34 – Objective: What great remote leadership actually looks like 01:15 – The loneliness gap: What you can't see through a webcam 02:24 – Don't let tools lead: Putting humanity back into Zoom/Teams 03:00 – The “hallway time” we lost: Re-creating post-meeting moments 03:46 – Practical example: Turning agendas into engagement 04:39 – One-on-ones that work: 10–15 minute cadence and prompts 05:26 – Social channels: “No-work chat” for kudos and connection 06:02 – Communication levels: What changes when you're not on site 06:38 – New habit: Add a 2-minute check-in at the end of every call 07:04 – Measure what matters: Comfort, clarity, and open lines 07:45 – Final challenge: Take care of your people—intentionally Hybrid Leadership That Puts People First The most effective hybrid teams aren't powered by tools; they're powered by intentional leaders. By adding short 1:1s, re-introducing post-meeting “hallway time,” and setting clear chat norms, you create an environment where people feel seen, supported, and ready to perform. Start with one small habit today, and watch the connection and results compound. Class Dismissed!

Researchers from Trinity and the ADAPT Research Ireland Centre for AI-Driven Digital Content Technology are leading a newly funded project to transform how AI is integrated into mobile and wireless communication systems. The NAIRA project (Native AI for Energy Efficient and Sustainable Radio Access Networks) is a pioneering initiative that envisions a new generation of intelligent, energy-aware networks capable of learning, adapting, and optimising themselves in real time. At its core, NAIRA seeks to embed AI natively within the very architecture of the Radio Access Network (RAN), moving beyond traditional approaches where AI operates as an external optimisation tool. This shift introduces Agentic AI, a new class of autonomous, goal-driven agents that can make local and collective decisions across the network. By doing so, NAIRA will enable networks that can autonomously reconfigure and optimise, while dynamically balancing energy efficiency, service quality, and operational cost. The three-year project, funded for €2.5 million via Call 7 of the Disruptive Technologies Innovation Fund (DTIF), will be coordinated by Prof. Marco Ruffini from Trinity's School of Computer Science and Statistics and ADAPT, and his co-PI, Dr Merim Dzaferagic. Industry partners include Dell Technologies, Red Hat Ltd., Intel Research and Development Ireland Ltd., Software Research Systems Ltd., and Tyndall National Institute. Prof. Marco Ruffini said: "NAIRA responds to the rapidly growing energy consumption of communication infrastructures, which is one of the most pressing global challenges - both from a logistical and sustainability perspective." "As data traffic continues to rise and connectivity becomes ubiquitous, mobile networks have emerged as a major source of energy demand within the ICT sector. NAIRA will address this issue by combining the latest innovations in AI, distributed intelligence, and Open RAN architectures to deliver a sustainable, high-performance framework for the networks of the future." Dr Merim Dzaferagic added: "By enabling intelligent collaboration among network components and continuous learning at the edge, NAIRA will demonstrate how artificial intelligence can be harnessed to drastically reduce energy use without compromising connectivity or user experience." "Its outcomes will contribute directly to Europe's green and digital transitions, setting the stage for AI-native 6G systems that are both sustainable and self-evolving." NAIRA was announced last week, along with another five newly funded DTIF projects, by Peter Burke, Minister for Enterprise, Tourism and Employment, and James Lawless, Minister for Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science. Jenny Melia, CEO, Enterprise Ireland, said: "The latest tranche of DTIF funding is an important solution for Enterprise Ireland clients in supporting them to transform and underpin their ability to scale, extend their global reach and create high-quality jobs. It is exciting to see high-potential start-ups (HPSUs) leading the development of disruptive technologies in areas such as transport logistics and quantum computing, and collaborating with established multinational companies and research institutions."

Trusting God in the Shaking, A Conflict of Powers Exodus 8 & Genesis 26 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm. Ephesians 6:12–13 Indeed, all who desire to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted, while evil people and impostors will go on from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived. 2 Timothy 3:12–13 Resist him, firm in your faith, knowing that the same kinds of suffering are being experienced by your brotherhood throughout the world. And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you. 1 Peter 5:9–10 These are the same forces that Moses faced in Egypt. These false gods and world rulers are the World SYSTEM opposed to the Rule of God and the Freedom of God's Children. There are those trying to divide us. We are wrestling against the demonic spirits that work through government, the financial system (corporations, e.g.), education, media and communications (news), entertainment, drugs and pornography (sexualization of youth, abuse and trafficking.) These are the same forces that Moses faced in Egypt. These false gods and world rulers are the World SYSTEM opposed to the Rule of God and the Freedom of God's Children. We are in a battle against Spiritual Hosts of Wickedness that manifest through worldly powers: Government, Financial Systems, Politics, Communication Systems, and Religion. God is judging the world's systems but has set apart a place of refuge for the people of God. Then the Lord said to Moses, “Go in to Pharaoh and say to him, ‘Thus says the Lord, “Let my people go, that they may serve me. But if you refuse to let them go, behold, I will plague all your country with frogs. The Nile shall swarm with frogs that shall come up into your house and into your bedroom and on your bed and into the houses of your servants and your people, and into your ovens and your kneading bowls. The frogs shall come up on you and on your people and on all your servants.” ' ” Exodus 8:1–4 Exodus 8: 16-24 What does Goshen mean? "Drawing Near" While God is judging the world's systems, he has set apart a place of refuge for the people of God. He has provision in the midst of the shaking. How Did God Judge Egypt: Religiously: the gods of Egypt and the magicians were no match for Yahweh Governmentally and Politically: Pharaoh was impotent before God's sovereign will. Militarily: Horse and Rider were Thrown into the sea. Economically: They stripped the Egyptians of their gold and silver. Now there was a famine in the land, besides the former famine that was in the days of Abraham. And Isaac went to Gerar to Abimelech king of the Philistines. Gen 26:1 And Isaac sowed in that land and reaped in the same year a hundredfold. The Lord blessed him, and the man became rich, and gained more and more until he became very wealthy. He had possessions of flocks and herds and many servants, so that the Philistines envied him. (Now the Philistines had stopped and filled with earth all the wells that his father's servants had dug in the days of Abraham his father.) And Abimelech said to Isaac, “Go away from us, for you are much mightier than we.” Genesis 26:12–16 When Abimelech went to him from Gerar with Ahuzzath his adviser and Phicol the commander of his army, Isaac said to them, “Why have you come to me, seeing that you hate me and have sent me away from you?” They said, “We see plainly that the Lord has been with you. So we said, let there be a sworn pact between us, between you and us, and let us make a covenant with you, that you will do us no harm, just as we have not touched you and have done to you nothing but good and have sent you away in peace. You are now the blessed of the Lord.” Genesis 26:26–29

The Censorship-Industrial Complex, Part 2

Public

Play Episode Listen Later Nov 30, 2023 14:49

Nine months ago, I testified and provided evidence to Congress about the existence of a Censorship Industrial Complex, a network of government agencies, including the Department of Homeland Security, government contractors, and Big Tech media platforms that conspired to censor ordinary Americans and elected officials alike for holding disfavored views.I regret to inform the Subcommittee that the scope, power, and law-breaking of the Censorship Industrial Complex are even worse than we had realized back in March. Two days ago, my colleagues and I published the first batch of internal files from “The Cyber Threat Intelligence League,” which show US and UK military contractors working in 2019 and 2020 to both censor and turn sophisticated psychological operations and disinformation tactics, developed abroad, against the American people. Many insist that all we identified in the Twitter Files, the Facebook Files, and the CTIL Files were legal activities by social media platforms to take down content that violated their terms of service. Facebook, X (formerly Twitter), and other Big Tech companies are privately owned and free to censor content. And government officials are free to point out wrong information, they argue. But the First Amendment prohibits the government from abridging freedom of speech, the Supreme Court has ruled that the government “may not induce, encourage or promote private persons to accomplish what it is constitutionally forbidden to accomplish,” and there is now a large body of evidence proving that the government did precisely that. What's more, the whistleblower who delivered the CTIL Files to us says that its leader, a “former” British intelligence analyst, was “in the room” at the Obama White House in 2017 when she received the instructions to create a counter-disinformation project to stop a "repeat of 2016."The US Department of Homeland Security's Cybersecurity and Information Security Agency (CISA) has been the center of gravity for much of the censorship, with the National Science Foundation financing the development of censorship and disinformation tools and other federal government agencies playing a supportive role.Emails from CISA's NGO and social media partners show that CISA created the Election Integrity Partnership (EIP) in 2020, which involved the Stanford Internet Observatory (SIO) and other US government contractors. EIP and its successor, the Virality Project (VP), urged Twitter, Facebook, and other platforms to censor social media posts by ordinary citizens and elected officials alike. In 2020, the Department of Homeland Security's CISA violated the First Amendment and interfered in the election, while in 2021, CISA and the White House violated the First Amendment and undermined America's response to the Covid pandemic by demanding that Facebook and Twitter censor content that Facebook said was “often-true,” including about vaccine side effects. But the abuses of power my colleagues and I have documented go well beyond censorship. They also include what appears to be an effort by government officials and contractors, including the FBI, to frame certain individuals as posing a threat of domestic terrorism for their political beliefs. All of this is profoundly unAmerica. One's commitment to free speech means nothing if it does not extend to your political enemies. In his essential new book, Liar in a Crowded Theater: Freedom of Speech in a World of Misinformation, Jeff Kosseff, a law professor at the United States Naval Academy, shows that the widespread view that the government can censor false speech and/or speech that “causes harm” is mostly wrong. The Supreme Court has allowed very few constraints on speech. For example, the test of incitement to violence remains its immediacy. In the face of human fallibility, and the complexity of reality, America's founders and others worldwide long ago decided that it was best to let people speak their minds almost all the time, particularly about controversial social and political issues.I encourage Congress to defund and dismantle the governmental organizations involved in censorship. That includes phasing out funding for the  National Science Foundation's Track F, “Trust & Authenticity in Communication Systems,” and its “Secure and Trustworthy Cyberspace (SaTC)” track. I would also encourage Congress to abolish CISA in DHS. Short of taking those steps, I would encourage significant guard rails and oversight to prevent such censorship from happening again. Finally, I would encourage Congress to consider making Section 230 liability protections contingent upon social media platforms, known in the law as “interactive computer services,” to allow adult users to moderate their own legal content, through filters they choose, and whose algorithms are transparent to users.I would also encourage Congress to prohibit government officials from asking the platforms from removing content, which the Supreme Court may or may not rule unconsitutional next year when it decides on the Missouri v. Biden case. Should the Court somehow decide that government requests for censorship are constitutional, then I urge Congress to require such requests be reported publicly and instantaneously so that such censorship demands occur in plain sight.Public is a reader-supported publication, and thus free from advertiser and investor pressures. “Hours!” she said. “I spent HOURS on my Sunday afternoon grading just late work alone, and then you want to know what I had to do the rest of the week?” I could almost guess what it was, “call parents” she said, exacerbated. My teacher friend went on to explain how as it was the end of the quarter and grades were due soon, it was that time of the year that comes around four times per year to communicate to parents whose child is near or actually failing a course. I squinted and turned my head to the side to lessen the blow of her answer as I asked, “how long did it take to contact parents?” Three days after school, she said, until well past 5pm. And I never got to them all. We've all been there. We've all been in a place where something in our teaching lives is taking up way more hours than we want it to, or than is healthy. Whether that's because we're new at it and haven't developed the processes to make it a quick process, or we just straight up don't like doing it. Either way, it's not helping you continue to love your job. In this episode we'll be talking about all things parent communication, and we are going to get very practical and even take you step by step through a particular system that I think will help you get a handle on it a bit more. Now, those steps may seem a bit much listening to it on a podcast, so I would encourage you to take notes if you're able to, but if you're driving or on your run and can't - no worries… be sure to catch the show notes where it's all laid out for you with pictures and everything at the link in our show notes where you're listening.
