Preparados para uma viagem pelo tempo?

Wer heute Kunst studiert, braucht viel Energie. Nicht nur, um die eigenen künstlerischen Visionen umzusetzen, sondern auch um sich erfolgreich selbst zu vermarkten. Denn von der Kunst leben, das klappt nur bei den wenigsten. Während einige durch hohe Verkaufspreise profitieren, müssen viele andere Nebentätigkeiten nachgehen. Dies zeigt die Diskrepanz im Kunstmarkt und die Notwendigkeit einer Balance zwischen finanzieller Sicherheit und künstlerischer Freiheit. Bei unserem Gast Carlo Krone scheint gerade beides zu klappen. Gerade hat der 23-jährige den Nachwuchspreis der art KARLSRUHE gewonnen und ist dort mit der renommierten Stuttgarter Galerie Thomas Fuchs und mehreren seiner Werke vertreten. Carlo ist zu Gast in dieser Ausgabe von „Was geht – was bleibt?“ und erzählt, wieso er sich von Anfang an neben seinem Studium konsequent auf Instagram als Schaufenster für seine Werke konzentriert hat. Unser anderer Gast Kolja Reichert gibt tiefe Einblicke in den Kunstmarkt. Mit seinem Buch "Kann ich das auch?", in dem er 50 Fragen zur Kunst beantwortet, macht er den Kunstmarkt für ein breites Publikum verständlich. Als Chefkurator im K21, einer angesehenen Institution in Nordrhein-Westfalen, weiß er, wie Kunstwerke ihren Weg in bedeutende Sammlungen finden. Reichert erklärt den Prozess: "Man besucht Messen, entdeckt neue Talente wie Carlo und entscheidet dann, ob man eine Ausstellung plant. Beide sind sich in der Folge einig: Kunst braucht Begegnung und zwischenmenschlichen Kontakt. Den Vorwurf, dass der Kunstmarkt intransparent sei, mit teilweise nicht nachvollziehbaren Preisen, lassen sie nicht gelten. Was steckt denn nun dahinter, wenn die Kunst des einen im Atelier verstaubt, während die des anderen schon vor Messebeginn teuer verkauft wird? Wieso fragt sich eine Malerin wie Josephine Sagna, ob sie nur der Hautfarbe wegen eingeladen wird? Und welche Kriterien müssen NachwuchskünstlerInnen erfüllen, um den Sprung ins Rampenlicht zu schaffen? Diese Fragen klären wir in dieser Folge. Rich Haddad is the former COO of SYM Financial Advisors and the current President and CEO at K21, overseeing all aspects of the foundation's operations. With his expertise in financial reporting, he ensures the prudent management of the foundation's funds and maintains healthy investment relationships. Robert Amaya is a dedicated family man with a love of film and musicals. He first won audiences' hearts as Javier, the “Snake King,” in COURAGEOUS. He has since become a favorite in many uplifting films including OCTOBER BABY, MOMS' NIGHT OUT, ALTAR EGOS and most recently as "Joel" in FAMILY CAMP.    Robert is finishing his first book, sharing how Christian artists can unleash joyful artistic freedom without compromise. He is a former vocalist for the critically acclaimed Walt Disney's Voices of Liberty. He helped launch and organize “FamJamz,” a ministry where families worship together and parents are equipped to lead their children's spiritual development. In 2019, Robert became Executive Director of “K21” and “LiveUp Resources.”    Robert is married to his high school sweetheart, Colleen, and is the father of two girls, Sophia and Angelina. He is the son of immigrant parents Roberto and Maria Amaya, who have served in full-time ministry.
