This Friday episode begins with some cleanup from earlier in the week on both the LIV Golf and PGA Tour fronts. Andy shares a forgotten story from The Boys' week in Indianapolis about a pressing question PJ asked a high-level LIV official regarding - you guessed it! - the Champions Tour. Brendan concedes the question was fair, but the timing was too insane to ever get an actual answer to something that barely matters to anyone but PJ. The two then clear up some confusion from Wednesday's episode regarding the PGA Tour's new season-ending format and how the points list will form the field of 32 for the first week of match play. Brendan also wonders if the match play bracket will be re-seeded after the initial cut to 16, sending Andy and PJ off the edge about the sanctity of competition and how brackets work in every other sport. After a brief bit of 2026 Tour Championship news in the form of a J.J. Spaun withdrawal, Andy and Brendan then react to the latest in the Good Good advertisement fallout. Since Wednesday's episode, Good Good has had their merchandise pulled from shelves at retailers, Callaway has cut ties with the brand, and they will no longer sponsor the PGA Tour's event in Austin this fall. The two discuss the place of influencer marketing in today's golf ecosystem and evaluate the damage that the driver ad has done in just under a week since its posting. To top things off, it was announced mid-recording that Golf Channel had cancelled this season of "Big Break" as well. This episode ends on a lighter note with two Golf Advice questions, with one sending Andy, Brendan, and PJ on a long-winding trip though the Seven Wonders of the World and whether society needs to rollback what we're calling a "Wonder" in 2026. Using years of 3D data on tour winners, they explain why that advice is backwards. The players in their database are not physical outliers. Many fail basic mobility screens that amateurs pass. What actually separates them is simpler movements, repeated inside a tight, learnable window, not more talent or more flexibility.They break down why good players fall into a narrow range on things like hip turn, arm bend, and spine angle (and why bad golf swings fall into a much wider one), the "shifting through the gears" idea versus jumping straight to full effort, and why two pros with completely different builds can both produce 180 mph ball speed through technique and sequencing, not strength. Then they get into the practical takeaway: find your own 3 or 4 "dominoes," the small number of things that move your swing back into a good window, write them on a note card, and stop chasing a new fix every week. They also cover why setup (grip, ball position, aim) drifts faster than your actual swing, and why removing variables before you practice is the fastest way to actually get better.You don't have to be a physical specimen to move like a tour player. You just have to move simply, and in the right direction.

Sonos Arc Ultra - $1099 The Sonos Arc Ultra supports Dolby Atmos that has a 9.1.4 driver layout and Sound Motion woofer to produce wide, height-enhanced surround and stronger bass from a single bar. It connects to a TV with one HDMI eARC cable, supports Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, AirPlay 2, and the rest of the Sonos ecosystem (including optional Sub and rear speakers), and can be controlled with the TV remote, Sonos app, touch controls, Sonos Voice Control, or Alexa. Trueplay tunes the sound to the room, and AI speech enhancement is meant to keep dialogue clear. It is a long, low-profile bar (about 46 inches wide) sold in black or white. Sonos Sub 4 - $899 The Sonos Sub 4 is a wireless subwoofer for Sonos S2 systems, pairing with current soundbars and speakers to add bass down to about 25 Hz. Two inward-facing 5-by-8-inch woofers and dual Class-D amps use a force-canceling layout so the cabinet stays relatively still and the bass stays clean. Master Bedroom: Sony BRAVIA 3 II 4K HDR LED Google TV (Model Number K55XR30M2) - $798 - The Sony BRAVIA 3 II is Sony's 2026 entry-level 4K LED set, sold from 43 to 100 inches. It uses a direct-lit LED panel, a 120 Hz refresh rate, and the XR processor for color, motion, and upscaling. HDR covers Dolby Vision, HDR10, and HLG. All four HDMI ports are 2.1, with 4K/120, VRR, and ALLM. It runs Google TV with Gemini, AirPlay 2, and Chromecast, plus built-in speakers that pass Dolby Atmos and DTS:X to a soundbar. The picture is good in bright rooms; but as you would expect, the contrast and HDR are limited compared with higher BRAVIA models. If you are going to use this for anything more than casual viewing or you are really critical of picture quality you may want to look elsewhere. But for those on a budget or used in a secondary room, it's a solid TV.

Send us Fan MailColorado is known as a hotbed for running talent, and here's an emerging star who accomplished something pretty extraordinary this summer. With cross country season upon us – my team's first meet is this weekend – I want to introduce you to Golden High School's Jackson Ferguson. Jackson had a very, very solid year as a sophomore, including finishing fourth at the State 5A Cross Country Championships, notching a 5K PR of 14:49.33 while finishing 12th at the Nike Southwest Regional cross country meet, and lowering his time in the 3200 meters by 30 seconds from his freshman year to 9:11.09 and placing second at the State track meet. Jackson parlayed all of that to be chosen for a spot on the USA team at the International U18 Mountain Racing Cup, a 4.6K competition in Gagliano del Capo in southern Italy on a rugged course with 191 meters of vertical gain that had many others at times hiking with their hands on their thighs. Competing against teams from 16 other countries, and despite getting knocked down in the first 100 meters, 16-year-old Jackson came away with the victory. Oh, did I mention that this was Jackson's very first trail race? Jackson then parlayed that into another big win, notching the gold medal at the National High School Trail Championships in Salida, CO by 28 seconds in a very strong 31:39 for 5.4 miles.
