Prabhas stars in the highly anticipated sci-fi epic Kalki 2898 AD, directed by Nag Ashwin, set for a June release. The film's new sneak peek features Prabhas as Bhairava, teaming up with Bujji, a witty, futuristic car. Their dynamic resembles the banter between Marvel's Tony Stark and Jarvis. Inspired by Hindu mythology, the story is set in a dystopian world where Bhairava, seen as the prophesied saviour, battles corrupt establishments. The film promises humour, action, and a fresh take on the legend of Kalki, the final incarnation of Lord Vishnu, destined to save mankind.

In the wake of Fox News' historic $787 million legal settlement with Dominion, investigative journalist Brian Stelter takes a look at how the conservative channel handles truth and misinformation—and its influence on elections. Stelter, bestselling author of Hoax, an inside look at Fox News, promises an even more revealing take on the channel and how it does business. From panic among its anchors to the handling of misinformation, Stelter goes behind the scenes to show how what ended up on the air got there. With the lawsuits dragging the network's secrets into the light—such as Tucker Carlson's passionate hatred for Donald Trump and Sean Hannity's contempt for his own colleagues—the future of the network, and the Republican Party, hangs in the balance. Join us for a special online-only talk with Stelter about one of the biggest forces in the news industry today, and how it uses its power in ways that impact us all. Learn more about your ad choices. BYOB, the Bring Your Own Book Podcast, is back for Season 3 featuring your favourite bookworms Nikki and Kelly. Every episode we'll discuss the book we read and share our unfiltered thoughts and opinions. This episode, the BYOB ladies are once again joined by Tilly to discuss #1 New York Times bestselling author R.F. Kuang's Babel: An Arcane History. Having already read and loved The Poppy War back in season 1, the ladies knew they needed to meet up again to chat about one of her latest works. ---Traduttore, traditore: An act of translation is always an act of betrayal.1828. Robin Swift, orphaned by cholera in Canton, is brought to London by the mysterious Professor Lovell. There, he trains for years in Latin, Ancient Greek, and Chinese, all in preparation for the day he'll enroll in Oxford University's prestigious Royal Institute of Translation—also known as Babel. The tower and its students are the world's center for translation and, more importantly, magic. Silver-working—the art of manifesting the meaning lost in translation using enchanted silver bars—has made the British unparalleled in power, as the arcane craft serves the Empire's quest for colonization. As his studies progress, Robin finds himself caught between Babel and the shadowy Hermes Society, an organization dedicated to stopping imperial expansion. When Britain pursues an unjust war with China over silver and opium, Robin must decide . . .Can powerful institutions be changed from within, or does revolution always require violence?--- Missed the episode on The Poppy War? ;If our government did its job, they would charge all these insurrectionists, and they would be removed from office, and BARRED from ever holding public office again, under the 14th Amendment!! A NEW MEXICO COMMISSIONER WAS JUST REMOVED BY A JUDGE FROM OFFICE! CALL ON THE DEMOCRATS TO DO THE SAME THING ACROSS THE COUNTRY! ###The stupid GOP are trying to distract us all from the treason and terrorism that their party members are engaging in! January 6th! They don't want us to think about that!! And we need to tax the church !!!!! #TAXTHECHURCH !!!! THEY HAVE BEEN VIOLATING THE SEPARATION OF CHURCH AND STATE FOR A LONG TIME NOW! THEY HAVE BEEN USING THEIR TAX HAVEN TO SHELTER PEDOPHILES! AND THEY RADICALIZED THEIR CONGREGATIONS AND POLITICIZE THEM, AND BRAINWASH THEM INTO PERSECUTING WOMEN WHO GET PREGNANT! CPS need to be investigated! Also, what happened to all the babies who disappeared under Trump regime, the so-called #kidsincages phenomenon! I have called many times before, for the US government to call in ICC investigators and UN human Rights inspectors to investigate and charge Trump if necessary-- and members of his administration with atrocities & crimes against humanity. I bet the Democrats don't have the balls to do any of that!! Also, what about the 26 charges of rape and sexual assault carried out by Trump together with Jeffrey Epstein? Why don't those charges go ahead, now that he's a private citizen? ADD child sex trafficking, while you're at it! And terrorism, and treason, and sedition and insurrection, and bar them all from ever holding public office under the 14th Amendment! Do you have any balls, democrats? I wonder.I bet the Democrats also don't have the balls to do anyt

This is one of those. My guests are mother (Pattie Vargas) and daughter (Rebekah Mutch) and they trusted me with sharing their family's journey to hell plus the miraculous twist that no one saw coming. Intertwined with their family's dark tour through decades of addiction is the little-known story of a 50-year-old medical breakthrough that's saved rockstars like Eric Clapton and Keith Richards from their drug addictions. Adding to the storyline, you'll hear how my own son's struggle with substances and the forced isolation of early COVID led to the unlikely convergence of us all. It's a binge-worthy episode that merits its own NETFLIX series. You'll come away awestruck by the determination of a Scottish surgeon, the power of a mother's fierce love, the human ability to triumph over addiction, and the realization that parents should never stop clinging to hope.

This is episode 30 of The Truth Tank. This is the 8th and Final Part of the Epic Saga of King Herod The Great. Over the past Eight Episode Journey, We have looked at both the ups and downs of his life. Starting at his early life, his struggles to take back the kingdom of Judaea. We looked at his many building projects, various marriages and the tragic murder of his own family members which led to his descent into madness. In this episode, we come to the final parts of King Herod's story. Of his final days, the madness and paranoia has set in, and King Herod is on his deathbed while his kingdom is fracturing around him . His sons are eagerly waiting to finally take over the throne, but not patiently, several of his son's are implicated in murder plots. There are many debates that surround the exact cause of King Herod‘s death, but there is no doubt that he was suffering from a painful and grotesque condition. King Herod‘s death is certainly not the end of his story. We will explore the days and years after his untimely death, with the kingdom being broken up and divided amongst his sons and his sister Salome, thus leading to its eventual decline and take over by the Romans. We will end the episode with the story of the mysterious Jewish Sage known as Baba and King Herod's part in this tale from the Torah and the Talmud, and Herod's connection to the story of Edam and Esau. Finally we will look at one of the Herod's stories most enduring mysterious, who built the Second Temple? What conclusion have you come up with from listening? Is King Herod the bad guy that history makes him out to be? Or is he just another misunderstood victim of the history books? https://thetruthtank.podbean.com https://www.facebook.com/ThetruthTank/ https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCrhX1ZqvZx_xM59bk-tRa6Q

From ancient empires to modern economics, veteran journalist Andrew Lawler delivers a sweeping history of the animal that has been most crucial to the spread of civilization across the globe—the chicken. Queen Victoria was obsessed with it. Socrates' last words were about it. Charles Darwin and Louis Pasteur made their scientific breakthroughs using it. Catholic popes, African shamans, Chinese philosophers, and Muslim mystics praised it. Throughout the history of civilization, humans have embraced it in every form imaginable—as a messenger of the gods, powerful sex symbol, gambling aid, emblem of resurrection, all-purpose medicine, handy research tool, inspiration for bravery, epitome of evil, and, of course, as the star of the world's most famous joke. In Why Did the Chicken Cross the World?, science writer Andrew Lawler takes us on an adventure from prehistory to the modern era with a fascinating account of the partnership between human and chicken (the most successful of all cross-species relationships). Beginning with the recent discovery in Montana that the chicken's unlikely ancestor is T. rex, this book builds on Lawler's popular Smithsonian cover article, "How the Chicken Conquered the World" to track the chicken from its original domestication in the jungles of Southeast Asia some 10,000 years ago to postwar America, where it became the most engineered of animals, to the uncertain future of what is now humanity's single most important source of protein. In a masterful combination of historical sleuthing and journalistic exploration on four continents, Lawler reframes the way we feel and think about our most important animal partne—and, by extension, all domesticated animals, and even nature itself. Lawler's narrative reveals the secrets behind the chicken's transformation from a shy jungle bird into an animal of astonishing versatility, capable of serving our species' changing needs. For no other siren has called humans to rise, shine, and prosper quite like the rooster's cry: "cock-a-doodle-doo!" --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/pbliving/message Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/pbliving/support

Writer Josh Barbee, for every job he gets, usually has one thing worth sticking around for and one OTHER thing worth burning the place to the ground. At McDonald's, it was the smiles and happy customers that kept him going...JUST KIDDING...it was the morning shift where nobody bothered him. When he finally made his way to an insurance cubicle, the main thing that kept him around was the fact that he could get an entire day's work done in one hour.
