In this episode we catch up with Scott Kramer, the brain behind Multi - a Social Media scheduling platform which serves the Direct Selling industry. We pick his clever mind, talking tips and trends for Social Media and technology in Direct Selling. The internet gave everybody a voice, leveling the playing field. It is the first medium that promotes interactive communication between company and audience. Our challenge now is to catch the interest of that consumer audience while their attention span is shrinking. It is easy to over rely on all the technology available, forgetting to build a relationship and create conversations. Automations or an ‘old school’ type of broadcast marketing don’t work on two-way communication media, such as Social Media platforms like Facebook. We know that you are going to love meeting Scott as much as we did. Scott shares with us knowledge and advice that can be practiced no matter your level of technical abilities! Get ready to take notes and enjoy the episode. We’ll be talking about: ➡ [0:00] Introduction ➡ [3:19] From media and entertainment to Direct Selling ➡ [6:09] Technology as a common thread between Direct Selling and other industries ➡ [8:17] Trends coming in the next few years ➡ [10:38] Fear of posting on Social Media ➡ [13:46] People buy from people methodology ➡ [15:40] Wondering why less and less people are buying my product ➡ [19:27] A run down of what Multibrain is ➡ [23:33] Social Media as marketing tool ➡ [28:29] What lies ahead with Facebook ➡ [22:05] Personal profile vs groups vs business pages for Direct Sellers ➡ [36:05] TikTok in Direct Selling ➡ [39:20] Creating curiosity and intrigue ➡ [45:11] 3 tips to grow your business on Social Media ➡ [48:12] What’s up ahead with Scott Kramer ➡ [48:49] 2 books that Scott recommends ➡ [54:17] Scott’s choice of superpower ➡ [54:56] Scott’s favourite quote ➡ [55:26] Scott’s advice to his past self Resources: ➡ Scott’s Book Recommendation: Fix It with Food by Michael Simon ➡ Scott’s Book Recommendation: Trust Agents: Using the Web, to Build Influence, Build Reputation and Earn Trust by Chris Brogan About Scott Kramer: Scott Kramer is a media and entertainment veteran who's credits run the game of television, film, digital, publishing and large-scale live events. Frank and Ray are back with season 2 of #DeconstructingBill where the filmography of legendary comedian Bill Murray is discussed at length. We're kicking this season off with special guest Scott Kramer (formerly of ZTO Radio) and a highly underrated film from 1990 directed by Bill Murray himself, "Quick Change". Such a unique combination of character actors as Geena Davis and Randy Quaid join Bill in an attempt to successfully pull off a bank heist and hopefully escape from New York at some point before they are captured by the police who are hot on their trail. If you have never seen this hilariously fun movie we highly recommend it. #ZTOTV

Season 2 Episode 13 Join me as I interview Scott Kramer, who's inspiration sets on his daughter's battle with cancer. Maddie was a girl with such strength and had a genuine love for life. She adapted quickly to every challenge she faced. After losing Maddie, Kramer and his wife decided to honor her by writing two books and founding the non-profit, Dancing While Cancering. No one can ever prepare you for loss. No one can ever help ease the pain of being told you’re going to lose someone you love. No one can supplement those moments you fully embrace, not knowing if they are going to be the last. There is NO ONE right or wrong way to deal with loss. But, what if you didn’t view loss as a dependant of pain? What if you shifted your perspective and focus to something much more profound than what the average person can attempt to, or could care to see and realize?Scott Kramer and his wife accomplished just that, and still are. On January 4, 2018, their lives shifted from questioning “why,” and quickly shifted into “why it is,” touching the lives of families around the world by sharing their daughter, Maddie’s, beautiful journey.“I am living authentically everyday because I carry around that little girl on my shoulder.” Scott and his wife lost their 2.5 year old daughter Maddie, to a very rare form of cancer on January 4, 2018. It’s their mission to share Maddie’s journey. Through their loss, they hope to help to inspire other parents and children throughout their walk with cancer. It’s in a parent’s nature to console, care for, shield, and insulate their children and tell them everything is going to be okay. They do it for their children, but parents do it for themselves too. Accepting the reality of any situation is hard. It’s even more hard when a child needs help processing what her new normal looks like, but it is something that can be done. Have you ever experienced a loss and pushed against the reality of the situation at hand? Have you ever resisted the inevitable because you weren’t ready to accept its truth? Resistance is part of the journey and part of the healing process. With any loss, there are phases that come to each person uniquely and at different times, lasting various timeframes. It’s part of the flow.Flowing is simply the act of allowing yourself to deal with that pain. Our ability to flow is heavily dictated by our acceptance of truth and reality. The key to life is being present and mindful. If you’ve ever questioned “why me”, “why my family” or “why us,” you won’t want to miss this podcast episode. Join host Pamela Savino for The Live Authentically show as she interviews Scott Kramer, a father, a husband and the founder of the Dancing While Cancering organization. It’s an organization established in honor of Scott’s daughter Maddie, who transformed her cancer journey through the art of dance. To enjoy more authentic conversations with Pam and amazing individuals across the globe, visit Pam Savino’s website at https://liveauthentically.today.

On Sunday Januaryy 29th at 9pm EST Robert Breining and Scott Kramer will be speaking with Filmmaker & Activist Sean Strub is a leading voice for the people with HIV self-empowerment movement and is the founder of POZ Magazine. Sean is the senior advisor to the Center for HIV Law & Policy's Positive Justice Project (combating HIV criminalization) and serves on the board of directors of the North American regional affiliate of the Global Network of People Living With HIV/AIDS. People with HIV who have been subjected to criminalization prosecutions have only rarely been heard from and are typically portrayed in the media as, at best, reckless and, at worst, monstrous. Most hold jobs, raise children, go to church, and are otherwise unremarkably different from others in society, except that they have HIV and were caught up in a profound injustice that often ruins their lives. HIV Is Not a Crime will bring their stories to light, raise awareness of the public health threats and human rights abuses created by HIV criminalization and help mobilize the advocacy necessary for reform.

Robert and Jeromy and Scott Kramer will be taking your calls and answering your questions about Safer Sex. Safer sex is a general term used to describe methods for reducing the chance that you will spread or catch sexually transmitted diseases (STDs, also known as sexually transmitted infections or STIs). The idea is that with a few simple tools and strategies, you can increase safety without sacrificing your sex life. Safer sex also involves talking with your partner/spouse, discussing activities and risks and making educated choices together. Of course, sex raises a number of other questions. Do you trust your partner? How do you get a guy to use a condom if he refuses to do so? What if you are suspicious that your partner/spouse is not being monogamous?
